8057a433f6 Bug 4037: Add item type filter to inventory tool
This patch adds the ability to filter inventory by item type. Multiple
item types can be selected at once.

To test:
1) Apply patch and restart services.
2) Set up (at least) one item of a specific item type.
3) Go to Tools -> Inventory.
4) Scroll down to find the item types filter. Confirm the 'select all'
and 'clear all' buttons work as expected.
5) Select a few item types, but DO NOT include the item type that you
just set for your item. Confirm that your item does not show in the
results.
6) Go back to the Inventory tool. This time submit a search that DOES
include the item type you just set for your item. Confirm that your item
does show in the results.
7) Confirm tests pass:

dcd4ab94cd Bug 27509: Prevent cn_sort value to be lost when editing items
This is a bit dirty, cn_sort is not passed from the UI but built in
Koha::Item->store depending on the values of itemcallnumber and
cn_source.
It must be updated only if one of those 2 attributes are modified.
The problem is that, as it's not passed, $item->{cn_sort} does not exist,
and set_or_blank will set it to undef.
The trick here is to backup the value before set_or_blank and set it
back to the item object.
Another solution would be to force the processing of cn_sort each time
we call Koha::Item->store. I don't think that's a good idea.

Test plan:
- Create a new item with a cn_source value and an itemcallnumber value
- write a quick report to see the cn_sort value: SELECT cn_sort FROM items WHERE itemnumber=your itemnumber, see your item has a cn_sort value
- edit your item and save it without changing either the cn_source of the itemcallnumber
- run your report again, cn_sort is not modified
- edit your item, changing either the cn_source or itemcallnumber
- run report again, cn_sort is modified as expected

8a874de3f4 Bug 26032: Add 'is new' filter in items search
In items search, add a filter on value of items.new_status with a Ignore/Yes/No.
Yes meaning != 0, No meaning = 0, with considering that NULL value is like 0.

This patch adds 'isnull' option to filter, this may be reused on other
fields.

Test plan :
1) Define an item subfield on items.new_status with authorised values YES_NO (0 or 1)
2) Edit an item A to set new_status=1
3) Edit an item B to set new_status=0
4) Perform an item search with 'is new' = 'ignore' => you get all items
5) Perform an item search with 'is new' = 'yes' => you get item A
6) Perform an item search with 'is new' = 'no' => you get all items but A

8a5cda8b7a Bug 26581: Only reindex records once per checkin
This patch simply passes skip_record_index calls to Koha:Item:store
for all the changes done in AddReturn.

Testing is really verifiying that items are still correctly indexed at the end

For both search engines
To test:
1 - Find or create a record with multipel items
2 - Populate both:
     UpdateItemLocationOnCheckin
     UpdateNotForLoanStatusOnCheckin
3 - Confirm that checking in an item correctly updates the item status in search results
4 - Test with items issued, and items not issued
5 - Test when generating a transfer (checkin at different branch)
6 - Test when item was marked lost
7 - Test when filling transfer

88cb7f223d Bug 25265: Prevent double reindex of the same item in batchmod
When batch editing, 2 reindex calls are sent to ES/Zebra.
We can easily avoid that reusing the skip_modzebra_update (renamed skip_record_index)

Additionally we should only send one request for biblio, and we should
only do it if we succeed

As the whole batch mod is in a transaction it is possible to fail in which case
Zebra queue is reset, but ES indexes have already been set

In addition to the skip param this patchset moves Zebra and Elasticsearch calls to
Indexer modules and introduces a generic Koha::SearchEngine::Indexer so that we don't
need to check the engine when calling for index

The new index_records routine takes an array so that we can reduce the calls to
the ES server.

The index_records routine for Zebra loops over ModZebra to avoid affecting current behaviour

Test plan:

General tests, under both search engines:
  1 - Add a biblio and confirm it is searchable
  2 - Edit the biblio and confirm changes are searchable
  3 - Add an item, confirm it is searchable
  4 - Delete an item, confirm it is not searchable
  5 - Delete a biblio, confirm it is not searchable
  6 - Add an authority and confirm it is searchable
  7 - Delete an authority and confirm it is not searchable

Batch mod tests, under both search engines
  1 - Have a bib with several items, none marked 'not for loan'
  2 - Do a staff search that returns this biblio
  3 - Items show as available
  4 - Click on title to go to details page
  5 - Edit->Item in a batch
  6 - Set the not for loan status for all items
  7 - Repeat your search
  8 - Items show as not for loan
  9 - Test batch deleting items
    a - Test with a list of items, not deleting bibs
    b - Test with a list of items, deleting bibs if no items remain where all items are only item on a biblio:
     SELECT MAX(barcode) FROM items GROUP BY biblionumber HAVING COUNT(barcode) IN (1)
    c - Test with a list of items, deleting bibs if no items remain where some items are the only item on a biblio:
     SELECT MAX(barcode) FROM items GROUP BY biblionumber HAVING COUNT(barcode) IN (1,2)
 10 - Confirm records are update/deleted as appropriate

0629d4082f Bug 24134: Add placeholder for 2 digit years to allow autogeneration of dates in 008
This patch modifies the code for parsing MARC framework configurations
so that the placeholder "<<YY>>" translates to a two-year date.

To test, apply the patch and modify a framework to include placeholders.
For example, in MARC21:

 - Administration -> MARC structure -> 952 -> Edit subfields -> d
 - Expand "Advanced constraints" and add a default value:
   <<YYYY>> <<YY>> <<MM>> <<DD>> <<USER>>
 - Save your configuration and go to Cataloging.
 - Go to the add/edit items page for a record which uses the framework
   you edited.
 - In the "Add item" form, in the "Date aquired" field, you should see
   the correct values. For example: '2019 19 12 03 Leonard'

Perform the same test when adding an item during the Acquisitions
process (depending on your AcqCreateItem setting).

Note that acqui/neworderempty.pl has been modified because the
placeholder-replacement code is repeated there, but I couldn't discover
how to test it (if it is used at all?)

b168f4a2e9 Bug 21395: Make perlcritic happy
This patch adds a .perlcriticrc (copied from qa-test-tools) and fixes
almost all perlcrictic violations according to this .perlcriticrc
The remaining violations are silenced out by appending a '## no critic'
to the offending lines. They can still be seen by using the --force
option of perlcritic
This patch also modify t/00-testcritic.t to check all Perl files using
the new .perlcriticrc.
I'm not sure if this test script is still useful as it is now equivalent
to `perlcritic --quiet .` and it looks like it is much slower
(approximatively 5 times slower on my machine)

Test plan:
1. Run `perlcritic --quiet .` from the root directory. It should output
   nothing
2. Run `perlcritic --quiet --force .`. It should output 7 errors (6
   StringyEval, 1 BarewordFileHandles)
3. Run `TEST_QA=1 prove t/00-testcritic.t`
4. Read the patch. Check that all changes make sense and do not
   introduce undesired behaviour

Bug 21927: Acq - Add blank values in pull downs of mandatory item subfields
This is the same fix as on bug 14662, which fixed the behaviour in
cataloguing, but for the item form in acquisitions.

The code assumes that if a subfield is marked as mandatory, there
should be no empty entry in the pull downs.

This assumption is not correct, as it leads to the first entry of the
pull down being preselected if there is no default set. As the field
can never be 'unset', there will never be a 'required' warning.
Furthermore, it might be counterproductive to use mandatory fields,
as it might be easily forgotten to change the preselected value and
those mistakes will be hard to find.

Correct behaviour would be to preselect the empty value when there is
no default. This means on saving the item an error message is triggered
and the cataloger is forced to set the value.

To test:
- This is best tested with an ACQ framework, but default can be used
  when no ACQ framework was created.
- In your MARC bibliographic framework:
  - In 952 make itemtype, classification source and some other pull downs
    like location or collection mandatory and set them to visibel if needed
- Create a new basket with 'items created while ordering'
- Add a new order, an existing record with 942$c set will work best
- Add items for your order line
  - Verify that the first value of each pull down is preselected,
    there is no way to trigger the 'required' error
- Apply patch
  - Add a new order line
    - Verify that classification source is preselected according to the
      DefaultClassificationSource system preference (try unsetting it later)
    - Verify all mandatory fields can be set to empty
    - Verify that you can't save before correctly setting them
  - Change your frameworks and set a default for itemtype (Ex: BK) and
    another mandatory and non-mandatory field of your choice
  - Add a new order line and item and verify the defaults are selected

Bug 24027: Call ModZebra once after all items added/deleted in a batch
Issue description:
- call to ModZebra was unconditional inside 'store' method for Koha::Item,
  so it was after each item added, or deleted.
- ModZebra called with param biblionumber, so it is the same parameter
  across calls for each items with same biblionumber, especially when we
  adding/removing in a batch.
- with ElasticSearch enabled this makes even more significant load
  and it is also progressively grows when more items already in DB

Solution:
- to add extra parameter 'skip_modzebra_update' and propagate it down to
 'store' method call to prevent call of ModZebra,
- but to call ModZebra once after the whole batch loop in the upper layer

Test plan / how to replicate:
- make sure that you have in the admin settings "SearchEngine" set to
  "Elasticsearch" and your ES is configured and working
  ( /cgi-bin/koha/admin/preferences.pl?op=search&searchfield=SearchEngine )
- select one of biblioitems without items
  ( /cgi-bin/koha/cataloguing/additem.pl?biblionumber=XXX )
- press button "add multiple copies of this item",
- enter 200 items, start measuring time and submit the page/form...

On my test machine when adding 200 items 3 times in a row (so 600 in
total, but to show that time grows with every next batch gradually):

WHEN ElasticSearch DISABLED (only Zebra queue):
- 9s, 12s, 13s
WHEN ElasticSearch ENABLED:
- 1.3m, 3.2m, 4.8m
WITH PATCH WHEN ElasticSearch ENABLED:
- 10s, 13s, 15s

Same slowness (because also same call to ModZebra) happens when you try
to delete all items ("op=delallitems"). And same fix.

Bug 23463: Use new method Koha::Object->set_or_blank
This patch fixes an issue when editing items.

* The issue
Cannot blank a subfield when editing an item.
If you have an item with itemcallnumber=42, then edit it, blank it and
save. The itemcallnumber is still 42

* Why? (line numbers from https://gitlab.com/joubu/Koha/-/tree/bug_23463)
additem (and other item's edition forms) receives a list of tags,
subfields and values, generates a MARC::Record::XML then calls
ModItemFromMarc:

717     my $itemtosave=MARC::Record::new_from_xml($xml, 'UTF-8');
727         my $newitem = ModItemFromMarc($itemtosave, $biblionumber,
$itemnumber);

And ModItemFromMarc:
 282     my $item = TransformMarcToKoha( $localitemmarc,
$frameworkcode, 'items' );
 283     $item->{cn_source} = delete $item->{'items.cn_source'}; #
Because of C4::Biblio::_disambiguate
 284     $item_object->set($item);

ModItemFromMarc never knows that the field has been blank.
Prior to bug 23463 we had a map of default values, and ModItemFromMarc
was doing:
 426     my $item = TransformMarcToKoha( $localitemmarc,
$frameworkcode, 'items' );
 427     my $default_values = _build_default_values_for_mod_marc();
 428     foreach my $item_field ( keys %$default_values ) {
 429         $item->{$item_field} = $default_values->{$item_field}
 430           unless exists $item->{$item_field};
 431     }

I do not want to reinsert that list of default values.

Here I wrote a generic method in Koha::Object to set the value passed in parameter,
or "blank" if not passed.
It's nulled if can be set to null in DB, or the default value is retrieved from
the schema info.

Bug 3426: Allow for multiple fields in itemcallnumber syspref
Note that we change both cataloguing/additem.pl and C4/Items->PrepareItemrecordfordisplay

I can find no code that uses callnumber from the C4/Items sub, except for the itemrecorddisplay script
which is not called with an itemnumber from Koha and should be deprecated for REST or ILSDI or OAI (imho)

To test:
 1 - Define itemcallnumber syspref as "082ab,092ab,9520,245a"
 2 - Find a record with no items
 3 - Ensure it has no 082 field, but an 092 field
 4 - Go to add an item - itemcallnumber is empty
 5 - Apply patch
 6 - Go to add item, itemcallnumber should be the 092ab fields
 7 - Delete the 092 field
 8 - Go to add item, itemcallnumber should be the 245a
 9 - Edit the callnumber to be "testing" and save item
10 - For should now show itemcallnumber="testing" as default
11 - Browse to http://localhost:8081/cgi-bin/koha/services/itemrecorddisplay.pl?itemnumber=## subbing the correct itemnumber
12 - Ensure the callnumber is defaulting to testing
13 - delete the item you created
14 - browse to URL above - callnumber should now be 245 again
15 - Add an 092 field to record and ensure it is now default callnumber

Bug 23233: AllowItemsOnHoldCheckout is misnamed and does not indicate it is for SIP-based checkouts only
The system preference AllowItemsOnHoldCheckout only affects SIP based checkouts. I believe we should rename it AllowItemsOnHoldCheckoutSIP so it matches AllowItemsOnHoldCheckoutSCO. We should also update the description as well.

This patch introduces after-action hooks for
- C4::Biblio::{Add|Mod|Del}Biblio
- C4::Items::{Add|Mod|Del}Biblio

which loops through all plugins implementing the hooks, and calls the
plugin method. The related object is passed, along with an 'action'

is specially important for the 'Del' case).

78a7d5aada Bug 14576: Allow arbitrary automatic update of location on checkin
This patch adds a new syspref "UpdateItemLocationOnCheckin" which
accepts pairs of shelving locations. On check-in the items location is
compared ot the location on the left and, if it matches, is updated to
the location on the left.

This preference replaces ReturnToShelvingCart and
InProcessingToShelvingCart preferences. The update statement should
insert values that replciate these functions. Note existing
functionality of all items in PROC location being returned to
permanent_location is preserved by default. Also, any items issued from
CART location will be returned to their permanent location on issue (if
it differs)

Special values for this pref are:
_ALL_ - used on left side only to affect all items
_BLANK_ - used on either side to match on/set to blank (actual blanks
        will work, but this is an easier to read option)
_PERM_ - used on right side only to return items to permanent location

Test Plan:
1) Apply this patch
2) Run updatedatabase.pl
3) Set the new system preference UpdateitemLocationOnCheckin
   to the following (assuming sample data):
   NEW: FIC
   FIC: GEN
4) Create an item, set its location to NEW
5) Check in the item, note its location is now FIC
6) Check in the item again, note its location is now GEN
7) Check in the item again, note its location remains GEN
8) Test using _ALL_, _BLANK_ and _PERM_ for updates
9) Try entering various incorrect syntax in the pref and note you are warned

39d2885d13 Bug 10676: Fix behaviour of OpacHiddenItems for items.restricted
The numerical restricted value was overwritten in GetItemsInfo
with the description. So OpacHiddenItems would only work for
restricted using the description, not the numerical value
of the authorised value like for other similar status fields.

This changes GetItemsInfo to use a separate variable for
the description, as it's already done for notforloan and
changes the template files where the variable is used
accordingly.

To test
- Before applying patch
- Configure OpacHiddenItems with:
  restricted: [1]
- Find a record with more than one item and mark one of the items
  as "Restricted Access"
  (assume standard sample data - check authorised value if status doesn't exist)
- Verify the item is still shown in OPAC.
- Apply patch
- Verify that the item is now hidden
- Verify that the status still displays nicely in the staff detail page
- Delete OpacHiddenItems
- Verify that the status is showing nicely in the OPAC detail page

fd30cac85a Bug 22155: Adapt uses of biblio_metadata.marcflavour to schema
This patch makes the code using Koha::Biblio::Metadata->marcflavour use
->schema instead for all interactions.

To test:
- Update the DB structure:
  $ updatedatabase
- Update the schema files:
  $ dbic
- Notice all the places in which biblio_metadata is used
  $ cd kohaclone
  $ git grep biblio_metadata
=> SUCCESS: They all use `schema` instead of marcflavour
- Notice all the places that use Koha::Biblio::Metadata:
  $ git grep Koha::Biblio::Metadata
=> SUCCESS: They all use the schema attribute when they used to use
marcflavour
- Run all the modified tests and scripts
=> SUCCESS: We are all good
- Sign off :-D

Note: while this seems like a minor change, the places in which plain
SQL is used really require understanding the queries and how they are
used, because some query results might be passed to some other method
that in turn uses the marcflavour attribute. I of course took that into
account but errare humanum est :-D

5e4e10c4ca Bug 14385: Extend OpacHiddenItems to allow specifying exempt borrower categories
Edit: Fixing merge conflicts in
 - t/db_dependent/Items.t
 - t/db_dependent/Search.t
 - C4/Search.pm

Changes the API for calling GetHiddenItems and all the places in the code that call it. This is to allow borrower categories to be passed in.
Adds an OpacHiddenItemsExceptions syspref to allow certain borrower categories to be able to see items, even if they are marked hidden by OpacHiddenItems

To test:

1) Make two borrowers, one in a category that should see everything (ie Adult), and another in a category that should only see certain things (ie Adult - exceptions)
2) Add the borrower that can see everything (the Adult) to OpacHiddenItemsExceptions
3) To the OpacHiddenItems syspref, add an item type (ensure that you have some records that fall under this type in your library).
4) Log in as the borrower that should only see certain things (Adult - exception)
5) Do a search, filtered to show records which are the item type that you specified in the OpacHiddenItems syspref. No records should show for this borrower as this item type is hidden to them.
6) Log in as the borrower that should see everything (Adult)
7) Do the same search. There should be results from this search, as this borrower category has been specified as an exception to the hidden items
