This one is less obvious, how is it possible to request an authority
search using catalogue/search.pl?
Is it dead code or is it actually used somewhere?

We can now call metadata_record directly on the Koha::Biblio object.
This aptch updates all modules and controllers to use
Koha::Biblio->metadata_record directly where appropriate. The
exceptions are where we don't require any filtering or the filtering
makes sense to do after the initial fetch.

This patch updates the bookable nature of items to allow setting at the
itemtype level and then overriding that setting at item level should you
so wish to do so.
We also now properly handle the item_level-itypes preference such that
we look at item or biblioitem level appropriately.

This patch adds info to the UI to show when there is a return claim. It also reconciles the behaviour for allowing the lost status to be changed. Previously the lost status could not be changed if there was a return claim. This is now possible and a message is shown highlighting the fact that there is a return claim as well as the new lost status.
Test plan:
1) Add a return claim to an item.
2) Check the holdings table on the record page and observe that the "Status" column now shows that there is a return claim
3) Click on the barcode for that item in the table to get to the item editing page
4) Observe that the select for the item lost status is not disabled
5) Change the status and save - the form should save correctly and display both the new status as well as a message showing that there is a return claim.

This patch removes the 'StaffDetailItemSelection' along with any usages of it. Now, the checkboxes on an item details page are always there.
To test:
1) Apply patch, restart_all, updatedatabase
2) In sys prefs, search for 'StaffDetailItemSelection', nothing should show up.
3) Visit an items details page, make sure there are checkboxes next each item that allow you to perform modification/deletion.

This patch the staff interface's bibliographic detail page, adding a tab
that shows comments submitted by users from the OPAC.
To test, apply the patch and restart services.
- If necessary, enable the "OPACComments" system preference and submit
some comments in the OPAC.
- In the staff interface, locate the title you submitted comments on.
- The bibliographic detail page should show a "Comments" tab with a
count of the number of all comments (approved and unapproved).

This patch simply adds a conditional to ensure the biblio object has been retrieved and assumes no cover images otherwise
To test:
1 - Enable system preference LocalCoverImages
2 - Perform a search in staff interface
3 - Find the biblionumebr for one of the results and delete it via the SQL backend:
DELETE FROM biblio WHERE biblionumber=3;
4 - Search again.
5 - KO!
Can't call method "cover_images" on an undefined value at /usr/share/koha/intranet/cgi-bin/catalogue/search.pl line 671.
6 - Reindex, confirm error is gone
7 - Apply patch
8 - Search again
9 - Delete a record from the results via SQL
10 - Reload and confirm no error
11 - Reindex and repeat search and confirm no error

To test:
1 - have a system with 2+ branches
2 - have a bib with 2+ items, all with holdingbranch=A
3 - set logged in library to A
4 - go to bib details page, confirm each item has an Edit button in the holdings table
5 - edit one item, set holdingbranch=B
6 - reload bib details page
7 - confirm the item now at branch B does not have an edit button
8 - APPLY PATCH and restart_all
9 - Try 1 - 6 again, this time you should see the proper edit buttons
10 - Set up library group:
* Create a library group for library A + B
* Action: Limit item editing by group
11 - Set up test user:
* Create a staff patron with these permissions:
* catalogue
* fast_cataloguing
* edit_items
* view_borrower_infos_from_any_libraries
* edit borrowers
* Home library: library A
12 - Set up test items:
* Create a record with 3 items with different home libraries:
* A
* B
* C
13 - We expect the use to be able to edit A and B, but not C.
14 - With the same user turn OFF the view_borrower_infos_from_any_libraries permission
15 - Behavior should not change, we expect the use to be able to edit A and B, but not C.
16 - Make sure StaffDetailItemSelection still works as expected for all users. With the sys pref on the checkbox should show up for superlibrarians and users with 'tools' permissions.

When parsing the branch limits the regular expression matches
parameters that contains the substring "branch:" rather than the prefix
"^branch:". Consequently, both prefixes homebranch: and holdingbranch:
triggers the branch limit.
Test plan:
- Activate the system preference IntranetAddMastheadLibraryPulldown.
- In staff interface:
- Perform a catalogue search (e.g. "book").
- Click on a facet for holding library or home library
(e.g. "Fairview").
- Click on the "more options" icon in the search box and make sure
that "All libraries" is selected.
- Activate the system preference OpacAddMastheadLibraryPulldown
- In opac:
- Perform a catalogue search (e.g. "book").
- Click on a facet for holding library or home library
(e.g. "Fairview").
- Make sure "All libraries" is still selected in the dropdown next
to the search input.

When you do an advanced search for call number, your search uses the index
callnum, but the code that maps your search to a possible Z39.50 search
still uses the index lcn,phr which was last used 15 years ago, so it's
treated as an unknown index and mapped to the Title field in the Z39.50
search form.
Test plan:
1. Click Search in the top menu to load Advanced Search
2. Change the dropdown menu for the first input from Keyword to Call
Number, and paste TT174.3 in the input and search
3. Find the Z39.50/SRU search button in your results and click it
4. Note that your search was filled in the Title field
5. Apply patch, reset_all
6. Repeat steps 1-3, note that your search was filled in the Dewey field
7. Choose the server Library of Congress SRU and search
8. Note that even though we labelled it Dewey and you searched for an
LC call number, your results are things with that call number in 050,
the LC call number field.

In the Item search the librarian is allowed, in the first step, to define
additional filters like Title, Author, Publisher, Publication date etc.
(in the third fieldset). This works fine but only for one criterion.
If one adds two or more criteria, the filter does not apply at all.
Test plan
=========
1. Make an Item search with the Pulblisher filter. Put
%University of California% as the value.
You should get 5 rows (with standard ktd test data set), three
from 1982, and two from 1988.
2. Edit search -> add the second criterion: AND Publication date is 1982.
You would expect three rows but you get 900+ rows.
3. Apply the patch; restart_all.
4. Repeat p. 2. You should get the expected three rows.

After changes made in catalogue/labeledMARCdetail.pl with the bug 29697
when trying to open the Labeled MARC view with
biblionumber=<invalid_number> (e.g. a deleted biblionumber) Koha explodes
with a message << Can't call method "metadata" on an undefined value at
/kohadevbox/koha/catalogue/labeledMARCdetail.pl line 59 >>
Test plan:
==========
1. Activate the viewLabeledMARC syspref.
2. Try to open a biblio record in Labeled MARC view, giving as a biblionumber
(in URL) a non-existing biblionumber, e.g. in ktd, with standard ktd
test data:
http://your_ktd:8081/cgi-bin/koha/catalogue/labeledMARCdetail.pl?biblionumber=1234567
Koha should explode with the message:
Can't call method "metadata" on an undefined value at
/kohadevbox/koha/catalogue/labeledMARCdetail.pl line 59
3. Apply the patch; restart_all.
4. Repeat p. 2. You should get a regular page with the info "The record you
requested does not exist (1234567)".

On the search results we are fetching the thumbnails of the local cover
images using catalogue/image.pl
Which means 1 GET per results on the page.
This patch suggests to have this information beforehand in order to
reduce the number of hits and network traffic?

This enhancement adds a new system preference RedirectToSoleResult. By default it is enabled, which matches current behaviour - to redirect to the detail page if it is the only search result.
To test:
1) Apply the patch, install database updates, restart services.
2) Go to Koha Administration -> Global system preferences. The RedirectToSoleResult system preference is in the Searching tab. Confirm it is enabled (set to "Redirect") by default.
3) Conduct a catalogue search on the staff interface that you know will return a single result. Confirm you are redirected to the detail page.
4) Do the same search on the OPAC. Confirm you are redirected to the detail page.
5) Go back to the system preferences and disable the RedirectToSoleResult system preference by setting it to "Don't redirect"
6) Do the searches again on the staff interface and OPAC. Confirm you are NOT redirected to the detail page, and the search results page shows as expected.

Koha/Illrequests.pm -> Koha/ILL/Requests.pm
Merged:
t/db_dependent/Koha/Illrequests.t
t/db_dependent/Illrequests.t
Into:
t/db_dependent/Koha/ILL/Requests.t
ILL classes file structure is, for the most part, around 7 years old and doesn't follow a strict logic. It's so confusing that some test files exist redundantly.
This housekeeping should help future work in regards to ISO18626 to add Koha as a supplying agency instead of just requesting agency, as is now.
It should also help future housekeeping of moving backend related logic out of the Illrequest.pm into Illbackend.pm (now ILL/Request.pm and ILL/Backend.pm as of this patchset).
It should also help in structuring the addition of a master generic form (see bug 35570)
This patchset will require existing backends to be updated to match the new class names and structure, if they invoke them.
Test plan, k-t-d, run tests:
prove t/db_dependent/api/v1/ill_*
prove t/db_dependent/Koha/ILL/*
Test plan, k-t-d, manual:
1) Install FreeForm, enable ILL module, run:
bash <(curl -s https://raw.githubusercontent.com/ammopt/koha-ill-dev/master/start-ill-dev.sh)
2) You'll have to switch the FreeForm repo to the one compatible with this work, like:
cd /kohadevbox/koha/Koha/Illbackends/FreeForm
git checkout reorganize_ILL
3) Do some generic ILL testing:
3.1) Create a request
3.2) Add a comment to a request
3.3) Edit a request
3.4) Edit a request's item metadata
3.5) Confirm a request
3.6) List requests
3.7) Filter requests list using left side filters
4) Install a metadata enrichment plugin:
https://github.com/PTFS-Europe/koha-plugin-api-pubmed
4.1) Create an ILL batch and insert a pubmedid like 123
4.2) Add the request and finish batch
5) Verify all of the above works as expected

To test, apply the patch and restart services.
- If necessary, enable the LocalCoverImages system preference.
- Open the browser console and then the "Network" tab. You can click
"Images" to filter for the correct kind of request.
- Perform a catalog search. After the search has loaded, check that
there are no 500 errors in the Network tab.
- Go to Cataloging -> Label creator.
- If necessary, create a label batch and add some items.
- Export your batch and test both the "Download as CSV" and "Download as
