With the frameworkcode changed to an empty string, which really
is closer to the physical reality, some javascript somewhere
breaks. This means the spinner does not appear when you confirm
that you wish to import it.
TEST PLAN
----------
1) apply first patch
2) export default framework, doesn't matter format
3) import default framework using that file.
4) answer yes or whatever it is.
-- spinner does not appear.
5) apply this patch
6) import default framework use the same file.
7) answer yes or whatever it is.
-- spinner does appear.
8) decide if you wish to find and fix the javascript conditions.
if yes -- do so, and then obsolete this once you have.

This patch is amended to use the sysprefs search on all Administration
pages that do not have their own custom search.
To test:
1) Go to Administration
2) Notice Catalogue search at the top - seems out of place.
3) Apply patch and refresh page.
4) Notice admin / sysprefs search now shows and is more appropriate.

Several templates have an "onblur" event attribute in the markup. This
patch moves the onblur event definition into the JavaScript.
To test, apply the patch and clear your browser cache if necessary.
In Administration -> Authority types:
- Choose "New authority type."
- Enter any text into the "Authority type" field.
- Moving the cursor focus away from this field should convert your
text to uppercase.
In Administration -> MARC bibliographic framework:
- Choose "New framework."
- Enter any text into the "Framework code" field.
- Moving the cursor focus away from this field should convert your
text to uppercase.
In Administration -> Currencies and exchange rates:
- Choose "New currency."
- Enter any text into the "Currency" field.

This patch moves the JavaScript files in prog/en/js to prog/js.
JavaScript files do not need to be in the directory which is processed
by the translator.
To test, apply the patch and visit various pages in the staff client to
confirm that JavaScript files are still loading correctly.
Revised: I intended for this to be built on top of Bug 15883 as well as
Bug 16242. Now it is.

The staff client CSS is not language-specific, so it can be moved out of
the en/ directory and thus not be duplicated for every translation.
In order to be able to have a generic path to the YUI CSS files, the YUI
directory is moved by this patch to the staff client's lib/ directory.
To test, apply the patch and visit various pages in the staff client.
Look in particular at pages which include more than the standard CSS.
For example:
- The staff client login page.
- The staff client home page.
- Patron -> Set permissions.
- The advanced cataloging editor.
- Acquisitions -> Vendor -> Basket groups.
- Tools -> News -> Edit news.
- Administration -> System preferences.

The JavaScript embedded in the MARC framework template is not
dependent on template processing to such an extent that it can't
be safely moved to a separate file. This patch does so, adding
definition of a few translatable strings to the template.
To test, apply the patch and go to Administration -> MARC frameworks.
- The table of existing frameworks should be sortable.
- The "Export" link should trigger the export modal.
- The "Import" link should trigger the import modal.
-- Clicking "Import" without selecting a file should trigger an alert.
-- Selecting the wrong file type should trigger an alert.
-- Importing a file of the correct type should trigger an overwrite
warning ("Do you really want to import...?").
-- A progress indicator should show during the import, with correct
values for "Importing from" and "Importing to".
-- Importing an incorrectly-formatted file of a correct type should
trigger an alert, "Error importing the framework..."

EDIT: Switching icons for Export and Import. What I had initially was what I intended because export is like downloading and import is like upload, but it seems to make more sense reversed.

2) Confirm that all actions have now been moved into drop down menus.
a) For Default framework, actions available are 'MARC structure', 'Export' and 'Import'.
b) Confirm these buttons all work as expected.
c) For all other frameworks, actions available are 'MARC structure', 'Edit', 'Delete', 'Export' and 'Import'.

The "highlight" class on table rows is unnecessary since we have a CSS
rule which defines colors for alternating row colors. This patch removes
use of the "highlight" class from templates and removes the definition
from staff-global.css
To test, view the affected pages and confirm that the change has not
broken anything.

UPDATE: Making error messages the same
To test:
1) Go to Admin -> MARC frameworks
2) Click Import next to any framework. You won't actually be overwriting or importing anything as this is only a string fix, so it can be an existing framework
3) Click the Import button without attaching any file. Confirm it says "Please select a spreadsheet (.csv, .ods, .xml) file." and that this makes sense to you
4) Attempt to attach a file that is not a .csv, .ods or .xml file. You should instantly get an error message saying "Please select a CSV (.csv), ODS (.ods) or XML (.xml) file." Confirm this shows up and makes sense to you

If a MARC framework is in use by any records it should not be possible
to delete it. Deleting a framework which is in use will leave the
deleted framework code in those records.
This patch modifies the deletion confirmation dialog so that it will not
let the user confirm the deletion if there are records using it.
Depends on Bug 15785 - Use Font Awesome icons in confirmation dialogs
To test, apply the patch and go to Administration -> MARC frameworks
1. Try to delete a framework which is in use by 1 or more records. The
resulting confirmation dialog should prevent you from proceeding.
2. Try to delete a framework which is not in use. Test both canceling
and confirming that deletion to make both function correctly.

We can simplify the staff client's CSS and reduce some image file usage
if we modify confirmation dialogs to use Font Awesome icons. This patch
makes this change for Administration templates.
This patch includes some whitespace changes, so please consider that
when looking at diffs.

We should be using Font Awesome for our icons instead of Glyphicons, for
the reasons discussed on bug 13696.

Some scripts pass a template variable to facilitate an alternate table
row class for styling. Other use the 'IF (loop.odd)' construction. I
think we're at the point where the CSS3 :nth-child() selector is
widely-supported enough that we can do without template-based solutions:

This patch adds such a selector to the staff client CSS and removes the
corresponding template markup from Administration pages. The last in
this series of patches will remove the redundant CSS.
Also in this patch: a few minor markup corrections.

This follow up adds the correct "required" style to the required form
fields as well as the "required" text after each required field.
To test, apply all patches and go to Administration -> MARC
bibliographic framework -> New framework. The framework code and
description fields should show that they are required.

The page for adding a new MARC framework includes some custom form
validation JavaScript which can be removed in favor of HTML5 validation
attributes and Koha's built-in validation plugin. This patch does so.
To test, apply the patch and go to Administration -> MARC bibliographic
framework -> New framework. Try submitting the form without entering a
tag number. This should trigger a validation warning.
Submission of the form with valid data should work correctly. Editing an
existing framework should also work correctly.
Patch behaves as expected.

Currently translating Javascript strings with variables in them is hard,
because the strings are created from separate parts. For example:
_("Are you sure you want to delete the") + " " + count + " " +
_("attached items?")
This is translated in two different parts, and the translator cannot
affect the place where the count-variable is.
Now, if the javascript strings allowed placeholders, similar to how the
template strings do, the above could be written as:
_("Are you sure you want to delete the %s attached
items?").format(count)
This would make translation much easier.
Attached patch adds a Javascript string formatter, and changes all the
concatenated translatable JS strings used in intranet to use that.
To test:
1) cd misc/translator
2) perl translate update xx-YY
3) grep ^msgid po/xx-YY-i-staff-t-prog-v-3006000.po | sort | uniq >
xx-YY-pre
4) apply patch
5) perl translate update xx-YY

I tested *most* of the changed files. There were some instances where it
wasn't clear to me how to trigger the warnings which were modified,
especially tags/review.tt, admin/manage-marc-import.tt, and holidays.tt.
Everything I was able to test worked correctly.

toUC() is repeatedly declared on many administration templates. This
function, used to transform user input to uppercase, can be added to
staff-global.js to prevent repetition.
To test, confirm that transformation to uppercase is working on the
following Administration pages when text is entered in a form field and
focus is moved to the next field:
- Authority types -> New: Test the "Authority type" field.
- MARC bibliographic framework -> New framework: Test the "Framework
code" field.
- Patron types and categories -> New category: Test the "Category code"
field.
- Currencies and exchange rates -> New currency: Test the "Currency"
field.
- Item types -> New item type: Test the "Item type" field.
- Z39.50 client targets -> New Z39.50 server: Test the "Z39.50 server"
field.
The following pages do not call the toUC function despite the fact that
they included it:

The SQL option for MARC framework imports was subject to a bug whereby
somebody could use it to gain access to arbitrary information in the
database by uploading an SQL file containing unexpected statements.
As it is difficult to securely sanitize SQL, this patch removes the
option to use SQL as an import or export format.
To test:
[1] Verify that SQL no longer appears as an import or export option
for the MARC frameworks.
[2] Verify that exports and imports in CSV, Excel XML, and ODS formats
still work.

When importing frameworks the "cancel" button should be hidden once an
import is initiated since it is not possible to cancel the import in
progress.
This patch uses this bug as an excuse to replace the old import/export
pop-ups with modal dialogs for all import/export functions.
To test:
- Try exporting both the default framework and at least one other
framework.
- Try importing both a default framework and at least one other
framework.
- When importing, observe that the modal dialog controls are hidden as
soon as the import is initiated.

Many templates have instances where the path to the prog template is
hard-coded. Now that interface and theme template variables are
available everywhere these paths should be corrected to use them.
Image paths corrected:
- 'Patron image missing' image on circulation pages
- 'Locked' icon on fund planning page
- Tag and subfield edit icons on the authority, biblio editor, and batch
item modification pages (Clone tag, delete tag, clone subfield,
delete subfield, move subfield)
- 'Loading' icon when importing frameworks
Audio file paths corrected:
- Sounds for circulation.pl and returns.pl
Paths to DataTables assets corrected on:
- Transfers to receive report
- Holds queue report
- Holds awaiting pickup report
- Patron detail page (moremember.pl)
- Patron circulation history

Labels which precede a text input or select typically have a colon
before them:
Name: [____]
This patch cleans up templates where labels in this context lack a
colon. Exceptions to this rule include radio buttons, checkboxes, and
labels inside tables.
To test, view the affected pages and confirm that labels look
consistent.

Work for translators could be made easier using CSS instead
of whitespace after colon.

This patch converts the toolbar on the MARC frameworks administration
page to to Bootstrap, replacing YUI button code with Bootstrap markup.
To test, view the MARC frameworks administration page and confirm that
the "New framework" button looks correct and works correctly.

This patch improves the labeling of import controls on the
MARC frameworks page by making import options more explicit. Other
changes:
- Form markup fixed to match standard form constructions
- JavaScript corrected to make more embedded English strings
translatable.
- Form labels made clickable by making "for" attributes match unique
form field ids.
- Some warning re-worded for readability and translatability.
- Large "loading" icon replaced with more proportional smaller one.
To test, view the MARC frameworks page (admin/biblio_framework.pl) and
test Export and Import functionality. Clicking each should display a
form with options clearly labeled. Import and Export operations should
complete correctly.

This is the first patch for bug 7760 and touches all pages in administration.
This adds a unique id "admin_<filename>" and a class "admin" to the body tag of
each page in administration.
Note: aqcontract can only be accessed from the acquisition module, so I made it acq
instead of admin.
