As per https://bugs.koha-community.org/bugzilla3/show_bug.cgi?id=27846#c0,
breadcrumbs should adhere to the WAI-ARIA Authoring Practices. Most Staff
Client template files have already been fixed, but there were a few that
were missed.
This patch fixes that.
Test plan:
1) Apply this patch.
2) Visit these pages in the Staff Client:
Home > Acquisitions > TestVendor > Basket TestBasket (1) for TestVendor (*)
Home > Administration > Set library checkin and transfer policy (**)
Home > Patrons > Merge patron records (***)
...and confirm that the breadcrumbs display correctly.
(*) Can be accessed by creating a test basket for a test vendor
(**) Can be found under Administration -> Patrons and circulation
(***) Can be found by trying to merge two Patron records

Swapped the order of the page titles to have the unique information
first, i.e. the name of the specific page displays first, and the name of the website (e.g. Koha) displays at the end.
To test:
1) Apply patch
2) Ensure each of the files in the members folder are swapped around
to display the most unique information first, and the website name is at the end
3) Ensure the pages displayed on the Staff Client that correspond to
these files also display the changes

This patch adds an option to compare two patron records during the
patron merge process. It can't work with more than two patrons, so the
option only appears if one has selected only two patrons to merge.
This patch also adds links to the patron names for opening the patron
record in a new tab.
To test, apply the patch and perform a search for patrons in the staff
client Patrons module.
- Select two patrons in the list of search results and click "Merge
selected patrons."
- On the merge patron records page, confirm that the two patron names
are links which, when clicked, open the patron details in another
tab.
- Click a radio button to select the patron whose record will be
the basis of the merge. The "Compare patrons" button and "Merge
patrons" should go from disabled to enabled.
- Click the "Compare patrons" button. A modal window should display
highlighting the differences in some selected values in the patron
record. The patron you selected as the basis for the merge should
appear on the left.
- Close the modal and select the other patron as the basis of the
merge. "Compare patrons" again. The other patron should now appear in
the left pane of the comparison.
- Test that the "Merge patrons" button in the modal window works
correctly to submit the merge form and that the correct patron is
used as the basis for merging.
- Repeat the same process above but select more than two patrons for
merging. The "Compare patrons" button should not appear.

This patch makes more markup changes to the templates previously
modified in order to try to arrive at some agreeable solutions.
- In the value_builder EXAMPLE template, the <p> is unnecessary and is
removed. Also removed is the script "type" attribute and obsolete
CDATA markers.
- In the article request template an unnecessary <p> is removed.
- In the merge patrons template the submit button is now in a <fieldset
class="action"> as is consistent with other forms.
- In the MARC modifications template I've added <div>s around each
"line" in the form to add the line break, along with some CSS to add
margins.
- The submit button is now inside a <fieldset class="action"> and the
"Cancel" link now has the "cancel" class.

This patch makes a minor change the the merge patrons template so that
on the patron selection stage the user can click the card number to
select the radio button.
To test, apply the patch and perform a patron search in the patrons
module.
- In patron search results, select two patrons to merge.
- Click the "Merge selected patrons" button.
- On the page showing the two patrons to merge, click each of the card
numbers to confirm that it selects the correct radio button.

Here we go, next step then.
As we did not fix the performance issue when autofiltering
the variables (see bug 20975), the only solution we have is to add the
filters explicitely.
This patch has been autogenerated (using add_html_filters.pl, see next
pathces) and add the html filter to all the variables displayed in the
template.
Exceptions are made (using the new 'raw' TT filter) to the variable we
already listed in the previous versions of this patch.
To test:
- Use t/db_dependent/Koha/Patrons.t to populate your DB with autogenerated
data which contain <script> tags
- Remove them from borrower_debarments.comments (there are allowed here)
update borrower_debarments set comment="html tags possible here";
- From the interface hit page and try to catch alert box.
If you find one it means you find a possible XSS.
To know where it comes from:
* note the exact URL where you found it
* note the alert box content
* Dump your DB and search for the string in the dump to identify its
location (for instance table.field)
Next:
* Ideally we would like to use the raw filter when it is not necessary
to HTML escape the variables (in big loop for instance)
* Provide a QA script to catch missing filters (we want html, uri, url
or raw, certainly others that I am forgetting now)
* Replace the html filters with uri when needed (!)

Code and variables to deal with the update child feature are not
centralized but copied/pasted in several scripts. Which leads to issues
obsviously (bug 20805 for instance).
Moreover the strings used by the templates are also in several template
files (or .inc)
To deal with that this patch introduces the idea to create 1 .inc file
per .js file
Here we have members-menu.inc for members-menu.js
Test plan:
- Remove all your adult categories (categories.category_type='A')
- Create a patron with a child category
- Try to update to adult category
=> The entry does no longer appears! (This is a change in the behaviour)
- Create one adult category
- Update to adult category
=> There is a JS confirmation message, if you accept the patron will
be updated to the adult category
- Create (at least) another adult category
- Create another child
- Update to adult category
=> No more confirmation message but a popup to select the adult category
- Pick one
=> The patron has been updated to the adult category

This patch moves the Koha::Patrons->merge method into
Koha::Patron->merge_with in the line of the discussed implementation for
bug 15336. I agree with that implementation so I provide this follow-up.
Tests are adjusted, the controller script is adapted too. The behaviour
remains.

It would be great if there were a merge patrons feature. If you
accidentally end up with one patron with two cards it would be nice to
merge their records together so that you don't lose their history or
holds or anything.
This patch adds a basic patron merge feature. It attempts to relink all
patron related tables from the patron(s) to be merged. It does not
attempt to relink librarian account related tables at this time. This
feature does not attempt to automatically resolve issues such as
duplicate holds. Such a feature could build upon this one though.
Test Plan:
1) Apply this patch
2) Find two or more patrons
3) Perform a patron search that will bring them up on the same page of
results, or add them all to a list of patrons.
4) Use the 'merge' button to begin the merging process
5) Choose a patron to keep
6) Verify the deleted patrons data ( checkouts, holds, etc )
are now linked to the kept patron
