84f8301229 Bug 15774: Add additional fields to order baskets
This also moves the admin page for additional fields for all tables to a
single common screen, and factors out display/input parsing logic.

Test plan:
  1. Create an additional field for a subscription (under Serials -> Add
     subscription fields).
  2. Apply patch.
  3. Visit Additional fields under administration, and verify that
the field created above still shows under the list for the
     subscription table.
  4. Create at least four fields for aqbasket for each combination of
searchable/not-searchable and with/without an authorized value.
  5. Create an order basket, and verify that all fields are visible and
     correctly save.
  6. Edit the basket, verifying that changes to these additional fields
     are saved.
  7. Add an order to the basket (contents are irrelevant).
  8. Go to advanced search within acquisitions.
  9. Verify that only the searchable fields show in the form, and that
     their contents may be searched.

e142e85d65 Bug 22198: Add granular permission setting for Mana KB
This patch adds a separate permission for managing Mana KB.

To test, apply the patch and update the database.

 - Open the permissions page for a patron with staff client privileges
   - Confirm that there is a "Manage Mana KB content sharing
     (manage_mana)" permission.
   - Leaving this new permission unchecked, log into the staff client
with as that patron and go to the Administration home page.
       - The "Using Mana-KB" link should not appear.
       - Navigate directly to /cgi-bin/koha/admin/share_content.pl. You
should get a "permission denied" message.
   - Modify the patron's permissions to grant them access to Mana KB.
       - Confirm that the link now appears on the Administration home
page and that the user can access the page.

d0a8d0e55a Bug 22196: Clean up Mana KB administration template
This patch makes language changes to the Mana KB administration
template, and corresponding language changes to the Web Services
preference file.

Some markup errors have been fixed:

 - Correct title and breadcrumbs, copied and pasted from another
   template
 - Add ids to form fields to match their label "for" attributes
 - Make <input>s self-closing
 - Correct class names on alert dialogs
 - Wrap text in JavaScript with _() to make it translatable

Also changed: Some language revisions to the Mana dialogs on the
Administration home page.

To test, apply the patch and go to Administration -> Share content with
Mana KB.

Test the process for enabling and configuring Mana KB. Check that
forms work correctly and that the language of instructions and labels
reads well.

Go to Administration -> System preferences -> Web services, and confirm
that the language changes to the Mana KB preference look good.

cb01b25330 Bug 17047: SQL reports management with Mana-KB
Includes:

* code factorization
Some code from subscription & Mana-KB has been factorized in order to speed-up next developments

* SytemPreferences:
Mana Activation:
    - add a value "no, let me think about it", that is the default value.
    - as long as this value is selected, messages ask if user want to activate it ( in Administration and Add-subscription(page 2) )
AutoShareWithMana
    - Add the syspref AutoShareWithMana: user can automatically share infos with Mana-KB (not set by default)

* Interface :
    - On mana-search, rows are now sorted by date of last import, then by number of users
    - Windows redesigned to improve the user experience

* New Feature : report a mistake.
    - people can now report an invalid data (wrong, obsolete,...)
    - if a data is reported as invalid many time, it will appear differently
    - Added few tooltip (to explain the fields last import, nb of users, to explain the new feature)
    - When reporting a data as invalid, a comment can also be added. Koha will then display comments related to data in result lists

* API (svc/mana)
    - add svc/mana/addvaluetofield: allows to ask mana incrementing a field of a resource
    - no hardcoding for resources in the code of api (api needs to be called with a ressourcename)

* New feature : SQL report sharing
    - Create Koha::Report.pm and Koha::Reports.pm, objects class for Reports
    - New feature: share reports with Mana-KB
    - New feature: search report in Mana-KB with keywords
    - New feature: load reports from Mana-KB

Test plan:
    1 - Apply Patch + update database
2 - Copy the three lines about mana config in etc/koha-conf.xml in ../etc/koha-conf.xml (after <backupdir> for example)
<!-- URL of the mana KB server -->
<!-- alternative value http://mana-test.koha-community.org to query the test server -->
        <mana_config>https://mana-kb.koha-community.org</mana_config>
3 - Check Mana syspref and AutoShareWithMana syspref are not activated
4 - Search the syspref ManaToken and follow the instructions
    5 - subscriptions
      - Try create a new subscription for a first serial => Mana-KB shouldn't show you anything (except if the base hase been filled)
      - Share this serial with Mana-KB (on the serial individual's page there must be a Share button)
      - Try to create a new subscription for serial nr1 => a message should appear when you click on "next", click on "use", the fields should automaticaly appear
      - Activate AutoShareWithMana => Subscriptions
      - Create a new subscription for a second serial
      - There shouldn't be any Share button
      - Create a second subscription => the message should appear, click again on use

    6 - SQL Report
      - Create a new SQL report, without notes.
      - On the table with all report (reports > use saved), there should be the action "Share"
      - If you click on share, you have an error message
      - Create a new report, with a title and notes longer than 20 characters
      - You can share it with mana => you will have a success message
      - On (report > use saved), there must be a message inviting you to search on Mana-KB for more results, enter a few word from title, notes, type of the report you shared, it should appear. You can use it, it will load it into your report list.

    7 - Report mistakes.
      - On any table containing Mana-KB search results, you can report a mistake and add a comment.

8 - For each previous test, try to send wrong data, to delete the security token, to send nothing: it should show a correct warning message.

65c4d8019e Bug 15836: Add the ability to defined custom methods to split call number in labels
Currently the call number splitting seems to be mostly implemented for
DDC and LC classifications.
Those are both not very common in some countries.
A lot of libraries use their own custom classification schemes so the call number
plitting is something that should be individually configurable.

This enhancement adds the ability to define custom splitting rules based
on regular expressions.

How does it work so far?
From C4/Labels/Label.pm there are 3 differents splitting methods defined, depending on items.cn_source.
if cn_source is "lcc' or 'nlm' we split using Library::CallNumber::LC
if cn_source is 'ddc' we split using a in-house method
Finally there is a fallback method to split on space
And nothing else is done for other cn_source

The idea of this patch is to mimick what was done for the "filing rules" and add
the ability to define "splitting rules" that will be used by the "Classification sources".
A classification source will then have:
  * a filing rule used to sort items by callnumbers
  * a splitting rule used to print labels

To acchieve this goal this enhancement will do the following
modifications at DB level:
* New table class_split_rules
* New column class_sources.class_split_rule

Test plan:
* Execute the update database entry to create the new table and
column.
I. UI Changes
a) Create/modify/delete a filing rule
b) Create/modify/delete a splitting rule
c) Create/modify/delete a classification source
=> A filing rule or splitting rule cannot be removed if used by a
classification source

II. Splitting rule using regular expressions
a) Create a splitting rule using the "Splitting routine" "RegEx"
b) Define several regular expressions, they will be applied one after
the other in the same order you define them.
Something like:
  s/\s/\n/g # Break on spaces
  s/(\s?=)/\n=/g # Break on = (unless it's done already)
s/^(J|K)\n/$1 / # Remove the first break if callnumber starts with J or K
c) You can test the regular expressions using filling the textarea with
a list of callnumbers. Then click "Test" and confirm the callnumbers are
split how you expected.
d) Finally create a new classification source that will use this new
splitting rule.

III. Print the label!
a) Create a layout. It should have the "Split call numbers" checkbox
ticked, and display itemcallnumber
b) Use this layout to export labels, use items with different
classification source ('lcc', 'ddc', but also the new one you have
create)
=> The callnumbers should have been split according to the regex you
defined earlier!

Notes:
* The update database entry fill the class_sources.class_split_rule
with the value of class_sources.class_sort_rule
If default rules exist it will not work, we should add a note in the
release notes (would be enough?)
* C4::ClassSplitRoutine::* should be moved to Koha::ClassSplitRule,
but it sounded better to keep the same pattern as ClassSortRoutines
* Should not we use a LONGTEXT for class_split_rules.split_regex instead
of VARCHAR(255)?

* class_sources.sql should be filled for other languages before pushed
to master!

IMPORTANT NOTES: The regular expressions are stored as it, and eval is
used to evaluate it (perlcritic raises a warning about it (Expression
form of "eval"). It can lead to serious security issues (execution of
arbitrary code on the server), especially if the modifier 'e' is used.
We could then remedy the situation with one of these following points:
- Assume that this DB data is safe (We can add a new permission?)
- Assume that the data is not safe and deal with possible attack
Cons: how be sure we are exhaustive? Making sure it matches ^s///[^e/]*$
would be enough?
- Use Template Toolkit syntax instead (Really safer?)
  [% callnumber.replace('\s', '\n').replace ... %]
- Cut the regex parts: find, replace, modifiers
like we already do for Marc modification template. Cons: we are going to
have escape problems, the "find" and "replace" parts should not be
handle the same way (think "\n", "\\n", "\1", "\s", etc.)
I did not manage to implement this one easily.

252f4674a5 Bug 14391: Add granular permissions to the administration module
So far the administration module only allowed for 2 permissions:
- circulation conditions (manage_circ_rules)
- everything else (parameters_remaining_permissions)

With this patch almost every section of the administration page
will have its own granular permission.

To test:
- Create different staff users:
  1) One with parameters_remaining_permissions
  2) One with parameters
  3) One with catalogue and no parameters
  4) One superlibrarian
- Apply the patch
- Run the database update
- Check the staff users:
  1) All subpermissions, but manage_circ_rules
     should be checked
  2) Nothing should have changed
  3) manage_item_serach_fields shoudl be checked
     (page had catalogue permission before)
  4) Nothing should have changed
- Try different settings of the permissions and
  verify that
  - Administration page behaves correctly
  - Administration menu behaves correctly
! You shoudl only see what you have permission for

dcd1f5d48c Bug 13618: Add html filters to all the variables
Here we go, next step then.
As we did not fix the performance issue when autofiltering
the variables (see bug 20975), the only solution we have is to add the
filters explicitely.

This patch has been autogenerated (using add_html_filters.pl, see next
pathces) and add the html filter to all the variables displayed in the
template.
Exceptions are made (using the new 'raw' TT filter) to the variable we
already listed in the previous versions of this patch.

To test:
- Use t/db_dependent/Koha/Patrons.t to populate your DB with autogenerated
data which contain <script> tags

- Remove them from borrower_debarments.comments (there are allowed here)
update  borrower_debarments set comment="html tags possible here";

- From the interface hit page and try to catch alert box.
If you find one it means you find a possible XSS.
To know where it comes from:
* note the exact URL where you found it
* note the alert box content
* Dump your DB and search for the string in the dump to identify its
location (for instance table.field)

Next:
* Ideally we would like to use the raw filter when it is not necessary
to HTML escape the variables (in big loop for instance)
* Provide a QA script to catch missing filters (we want html, uri, url
or raw, certainly others that I am forgetting now)
* Replace the html filters with uri when needed (!)

ff83c7acdc Bug 7651: Add a new permission for managing currencies and exchange rates
At the moment staff users need parameters or parameters_remaining_permissions
in order to be able to change exchange rates for acquisition orders.

This patch adds a new separate permission currencies_manage and
updates staff users currently having those permissions to get the
new permission as well.

To test:
- Create some staff users with different permission sets
  1) superlibrarian
  2) parameters
  3) parameters_remaining_permissions
  4) manage_circ_rules, but not parmeters_remaining_permissions
  5) all acquisition permissions
- Apply patch and run database update
- Verify new permission has been added and staff users updated
  1) remains the same
  2) + 3) will have currencies_manage
  4) remains unchanged, doesn't have new permission
  5) remains the same, will have access now because of having
     the top level acquisition permission
- Verify the changed pages work correctly:
  - navigation on admin home page
NOTE: the acquisition parameters section will now honor all
    different related permissions (edi_manage, budget_manage,...)
  - navigation on acquisition home page
  - try to access currencies page directly

18f4a89ce6 Bug 19096: Do not allow changes to kohafield within MARC frameworks
This patch makes two changes in the script for managing the MARC
frameworks in order to support making the Default authoritative
as for Koha to MARC mappings:

[1] Disable the kohafield select combo. Add a hidden input to save value.
[2] When a new subfield is added, the kohafield is still empty and should
be overwritten with its Default counterpart.
Note: Although we could leave the field empty, since Koha looks at the
Default framework only, it does not cost much to keep these fields in
sync with Default and perhaps catch a bug when someone somewhere looks
    in the wrong framework.

Note: The description of Koha to MARC mapping on admin-home has been
adjusted accordingly (removing last two lines).

Test plan:
[1] Add a new tag and subfield in Default.
[2] Map it to a kohafield in koha2marclinks.pl
[3] Add the same tag and subfield in another framework.
Verify that the kohafield is updated after you saved the subfield.

3156950e0a Bug 16206: Corrections to templates related new EDI feature
There are some issues with the template changes introduced by the EDI
feature in Bug 7736. This patch makes the following changes:

- Use Font Awesome icon on the Acquisitions basket page instead of a
  Glyphicon.
- Use Font Awesome icon on the Acquisitions basket group page instead of
  a Glyphicon.
- For consistency's sake, use the phrase "Library EANs" instead of "EDI
EANs" in menus and the Library EANs page.

- On the EDI accounts page:
  - Correct the markup of the title tag.
  - Improve the breadcrumbs to eliminate redundancy.
  - Use Font Awesome icon instead of Glyphicon for the "New account"
    button.
  - Change or remove "maxlength" attribute of form fields to match table
    structure.
  - Move the contents of some title attributes into a visible hint.
  - Use 'checked="checked"' instead of 'checked'. Koha templates use
    XTHML-style attributes.
  - Correct template variable in account deletion confirmation dialog.
Before this patch the vendor name was not correctly displayed.
  - Show a message if there are no accounts defined rather than an empty
    table.
  - Remove use of "highlight" class from table rows (Bug 15927).
  - Correct parameter name in link to vendor details page (should be
    booksellerid instead of supplierid).
  - Correct the markup of the deletion confirmation dialog (Bug 15785).
  - Use Bootstrap-style buttons for "edit" and "delete," with Font
    Awesome icons.

- On the Library EANs page:
  - Correct the markup of the title tag.
  - Make capitalization of "EAN" consistent.
  - Use Font Awesome icon instead of Glyphicon for the "New EAN" button.
  - Show a message if there are no EANs defined rather than an empty
    table.
  - Change or remove "maxlength" attribute of form fields to match table
    structure.
  - Remove use of "highlight" class from table rows (Bug 15927).
  - Correct the markup of the deletion confirmation dialog (Bug 15785).
  - Use Bootstrap-style buttons for "edit" and "delete," with Font
    Awesome icons.

To test, apply the patch and review the affected templates. Confirm that
pages look correct and work correctly.

e2e9916348 Bug 7736: Support Ordering via Edifact EDI messages
Add support for processing incoming Edifact Quotes, Invoices
and order responses and generating and transmission of
Edifact Orders.
Basic workflow is that an incoming quote generates an aquisition
basket in Koha, with each line corresponding to an order record

The user can then generate an edifact order from this (or another)
basket, which is transferred to the vendor's site

The supplier generates an invoice on despatch and this will
result in corresponding invoices being generated in Koha
The orderlines on the invoice are receipted automatically.

We also support order response messages. This may include
simple order acknowledgements, supplier reports/amendments
on availability. Cancellation messages cause the koha order
to be cancelled, other messages are recorded against the order

Which messages are to be supported/processed is specifiable on a
vendor by vendor basis via the admin screens

You can also specify auto order i.e. to generate orders from quotes
without user intervention - This reflects existing
workflows where most work is done on the suppliers website
then generating a dummy quote

Received messages are stored in the edifact_messages table
and the original can be viewed via the online

Database changes are in installer/data/mysql/atomicchanges/edifact.sql

fd74b271db Bug 15887: Revise layout and behavior of item search fields management
This patch adds some JavaScript to the item search fields management
page so that the add form is not displayed by default. This simplifies
the interface and makes it more consistent with other similar
interfaces.

Also changed in this patch:
- Changing instances of "Items search fields" to "Item search fields."
- Correct form structure to use ordered list
- Add "required" classes and enable built-in JS form validation.
- Add explicitly labeled "Choose" options to <select>s.
- Add missing ids to form fields (labels don't work without them).
- Correct classes of message and alert dialogs.
- Add JS confirmation of deletions.
- Convert MARC tag and subfield dropdowns to regular inputs (Bug 15384).

To test, apply the patch and go to Administration.

- Confirm that the "Item search fields" link is correct.
- Follow the link and confirm that the list of existing fields is shown
by default, or a message saying there are no existing fields.
- Click the "New search field" button and confirm that it displays the
  entry form.
  - Confirm that submitting an empty form does not work.
  - Confirm that clicking the "Cancel" link correctly hides the form.
  - Confirm that submitting valid data works correctly.
- In the table of existing item search fields, confirm that the "Edit"
  button works correctly.
  - Confirm that submitting edits works correctly.
- In the table of existing item search fields, confirm that clicking
"Delete" highlights the row in question and a confirmation dialog
  appears.
  - Test both canceling and confirming deletion.

00c89d915b Bug 9021 - Add SMS via email as an alternative to SMS services via SMS::Send drivers
Nearly all cellular providers allow a person to send an text message to a cellular
phone by sending an email to phonenumber@provider. We can leverage this capability
to add the ability for Koha to send sms messages to patrons without the need to
subscribe to an sms gateway server.

Basic plan:
1. Add a table sms_providers to the db to tell Koha what service providers are available, and what domain emails should be sent to.
2. Add borrowers.sms_provider_id to tell Koha which mobile service the patron subscribes to for the number given in smsalertnumber
3. Modify Koha to send an email rather than using SMS::Send if the driver is set to 'Email'

Test plan:
0) Get a mobile phone
1) Apply the patch
2) Run updatedatabase.pl
3) Set the value of SMSSendDriver to 'Email'
4) Go to the admin page, the "Additional parameters" area should now have the link "SMS cellular providers"
5) On this page, add some providers. Make sure to add the provider for your own cellular phone service.

Here are some examples:
Sprint phonenumber@messaging.sprintpcs.com
Verizon phonenumber@vtext.com
T-Mobile phonenumber@tmomail.net
AT&T phonenumber@txt.att.net

Only add the domain part in the 'domain' field. So for Verizon, that would be 'vtext.com'

6) Create an account for yourself, add your SMS number, and select your provider from the dropdown box directly below it.

7) Enable SMS messaging for Item check-in and Item checkout
8) Check out an item to yourself
9) Run process_message_queue.pl
10) Wait! You should receive a text message shortly, when I tested it, I received my sms message within the minute.

220ff161e9 Bug 11431: Add additional sound options
This patch set replaces and extends Koha's current sound options.
This is implemented be removing the existing sound system, and

7c2ff7940e Bug 11425: Add item search form in staff interface
Item search is available at catalogue/itemsearch.pl (link is in
catalogue/search.pl)
It only uses SQL (not Zebra)
* Use DataTables and server-side processing to be able to filter on
individual columns after the first search is done.
* Allow to export results in CSV
* With Javascript disabled, search form still works (and CSV export too)

There is the possibility to define "Custom search fields" in a new admin
page admin/items_search_fields.pl (link is in admin/admin-home.pl)
A custom item search field is defined by:
* a name: its unique identifier
* a label: the text displayed to the user
* a MARC field/subfield: the field/subfield to query (it uses
  ExtractValue)
* an authorised values list (optional): if defined the list is displayed
  in the search form

New Perl dependency: Template::Plugin::JSON::Escape

Test plan:
1/ Apply the patch and run updatedatabase.pl
2/ Go to advanced search (staff interface), then click on "Go to item
search"
3/ Play with the search form! :)
In the 3rd fieldset you can add as many fields as you want and combine them with
boolean operators (AND, OR). You can use SQL jokers characters (%, _)
You can output to screen (in a DataTables table) or to a CSV file.
4/ In the DataTables table, play with filters and try sorting columns.
5/ Disable Javascript (with Firefox: extensions NoScript or YesScript,
or in about:config 'javascript.enabled' = false
6/ Reload the search page and do some searches on screen output. (there
is no sorting or filtering features, but there is still pagination)
7/ Try again CSV output.
8/ You can re-enable Javascript.
9/ Go to Administration > Items search fields
10/ Add a new field. Example for title (in UNIMARC):
  Name: title
  Label: Title
  MARC field: 200
  MARC subfield: a
  Authorised values category: None
(add another field with an authorised values category to see the
difference).
11/ As you are there try to update and delete some fields.
12/ Go back to items search form. You can see in the 3rd fieldset that
your fields have appeared in the selects.
13/ Try searching on them.
14/ I think you're done :)

ebf4e33cbf Bug 10212: Columns configuration for tables
This development introduces ColVis into Koha and provides a configuration
page for columns visibility.

ColVis is a plugin for DataTables. It allows to change the visibility of
the columns in the table.

* This development adds:
  - the js and css file for ColVis
  - a new DB table 'columns_settings'
  - a new template plugin 'ColumnsSettings'
  - a new package C4::Utils::DataTables::ColumnsSettings
  - a new admin page admin/columns_settings.pl

* How it works:
A yaml file is created (admin/columns_settings.yml) in order to take an
inventory of all tables where ColVis is implemented. This file is read
to create the list of modules, pages and tables in the configuration
page.
There are 3 possible keys in the yml:
 - is_hidden: default is 0
The column will be hidden.
 - cannot_be_toggled: default is 0.
ColVis will allow to hide/show the column.
 - cannot_be_modified: default is 0
Default values (in the yml) won't be modifiable.

When a user changes (or saves) the configuration for one module, all
columns are added to the DB table. The values in the DB get the upper hand
on the yaml values.

* Humm, strange?
It seems weird to have 2 storages for the same values. But I
think it will be easy to add an entry and maintain the yaml rather than
adding a new row (and new entry in updatedatabase script) in the DB.

* To go further: We can imagine that the configuration is saved for each
user (and not globally like it is made with this patch).

This patch cannot be tested as it, you need to apply the "POC" patch.

a691ebc3f1 Bug 7372: Move road types from the roadtype table to the ROADTYPE AV
Currently road types are stored in a specific table in DB. Moreover, an
admin page is present in order to manage them.
This patch proposes to remove this table and this page in favour of a
new authorised value category 'ROADTYPE'.

This patch:
- adds a new AV category 'ROADTYPE' (created from the roadtype table
  content).
- remove the roadtype table.
- remove the .pl and .tt file admin/roadtype
- remove the 2 routines C4::Members::GetRoadTypes and

622430cfb5 Bug 8015: Add MARC Modifications Templates
The MARC Modification Templates system gives Koha users
the power to make alterations to MARC records automatically
while staging MARC records for import.

This tool is useful for altering MARC records from
various venders work with your MARC framework.

The system essentially allows one to create a basic script
using actions to Copy, Move, Add, Update and Delete fields.

Each action can also have an optional condition to check
the value or existance of another field.

The Copy & Move actions also support Regular Expressions,
which can be used to automatically modify field values during the
copy/move. An example would be to strip out the '$' character
in field 020$c.

Furthermore, the value for an update can include variables
that change each time the template is used. Currently,
the system supports two variables, __BRANCHCODE__ which
is replaced with the branchcode of the library currently
using the template, and __CURRENTDATE__ which is replaced
with the current date in ISO format ( YYYY-MM-DD ).

At its simplist, it can perform functions such as:
Copy field 092$a to 952$c
At its most complex it can run actions like:
Copy field 020$c to 020$c using RegEx s/\$// if 020$c equals RegEx m/^\$/

Bug 7167 follow-up

Major changes:
* creating database tables for update on the fly, the 1st time the update script is called
* version is checked on mainpage.pl (and here only). If syspref Version differ from kohaversion.pl, the old updatedatabase is launched. If there are updates missing from new mechanism, the updatedatabase page is reached
* kohaversion check on each page is now useless in Auth.pm, removed dead code
* Updated installer: at the end of the process, retrieve all updates and automatically mark them "OK", as they're included in installer

Minor changes:
* adding copyright
* adding poddoc
* updating a warning, for better clarity
* switching from $$var to $var->
* small TT glitch fixed in updatedatabase.tt
* about.pl now returns the Version systempreference PLUS all the patches that have been applied

Bug 7167 follow-up perlcritic & numbers display & partial apply depending on DEBUG

* add use strict to updatedatabase, that is now perlcritic compliant
* partial apply of DB revs is now managed by DEBUG env variable = if DEBUG=0, the user can just apply every DBrev. If DEBUG=1, we're in a dev env, the user know has the option to apply DBrevs one by one
Display:
* in updatedatabase, small spelling changes
* in about.pl, remove 0 just after . (3.06.01 is displayed as 3.6.1)
* improve the display of applied numbers on about.pl
 - before this patch, if you have N, N+1, N+2, N+3 and N+10 DB rev applied, about was displaying : , N+1 / N+2 / N+3 / N+10
 - after this patch you have N......N+3 / N+10
* add ORDER BY into list_versions_already_knows to have number retrieved in the same order whatever the order they are applied

Bug 7167: Add .pl and .sql examples

Those files are in version directory, so will never be executed by the updater
If you want to provide an update, do it in a 3.09/ directory (if your update is expected for 3.10 version)

Note that the updater use a md5sum checker. So, if the same update is in 2 different places, it will be detected. That will be handy for changes made on both stable and master: a library running stable will get the update when updating. When upgrading to the next major release, Koha will detect the patch has already been applied, and no error will be thrown. With the previous mechanism, a DBRev ported to stable was re-executed when upgrading to master, resulting in a nasty (but usually harmless) error message

 * The text "comments" and "queries" was hardcoded in ajax-updatedb-getinfo.pl script. It has been replaced by a JSON call, returning 2 separate values, "comments:" and "queries:" is now in the template, making it translatable
 * Some minor tweak in the display (like putting things in bold, displaying OK in green, warnings in yellow and KO in red)
 * Reordering the column headers for more readability:
    * Status column is merged with availability, column is after status
    * Status/availability terms more clear: "Not applied" instead of "unknown", "Applied and OK", "Applied and failed", "Applied and forced" are the 3 other statuses
    * Removed one click to display comments on DBREv not yet applied: before the patch, one had to click "Show details", then "Get comments", now, "Get comments" is enough

Bug 7167: We want to execute non-numeric version with the -all option

Dealing with Marcel comment 100:
> Note that the current code around line 52/53 does not
> handle that correctly:
> Argument "\x{74}\x{65}..." isn't numeric in numeric ge (>=) at
> installer/data/mysql/update.pl line 52.

Now, a non-numeric DBRev will be applied if you provide the --all parameter, without throwing the error

Bug 7167 reindentation & removing dead code

* The if (! defined $ENV{PERL5LIB}... block was wrongly intented
* The 3 lines running update.pl are useless: the update (new mechanism) is run from admin/updatedatabase.pl script. This part of install.pl is run only when you have "old style" DB revisions.

Summary:
 * old mechanism = it's run as previously, by reaching the installer/install.pl?step=3 page, that applies all revisions
 * new mechanism = when you log-in or reach mainpage.pl, you reach admin/updatedatabase.pl, where you can see what will be run, and run it

Tiny side effect = the check for old mechanism is now done *after* authentification (thus it's not done on each page call). It means that the user will have to enter login/password twice :
 * first to log-in to Koha
 * second to run installer/updatedatabase.pl?step=3
As the old mechanism is deprecated, we can expect this will happend only a few time in the history of a setup, it's not a big deal.

With the previous mechanism, a DBRev ported to stable was re-executed when upgrading to master, resulting in a nasty (but usually harmless) error message

d2cd2e09aa Bug 8726: ExplodedTerms suggestion plugin (functionality)
When working with hierarchical subject headings, it is sometimes helpful
to do a search for all records with a specific subject, plus
broader/narrower/related subjects. This patch adds a suggestion plugin for
these "exploded" subject searches to Koha. Note that this patch depends on
both bug 8211 AND bug 8209.

To test (NOTE: this test plan covers both 8211 and 8726):
1) Make sure you have a bunch of hierarchical subjects. I created
geographical subjects for "Arizona," "United States," and "Phoenix,"
and linked them together using 551s, and made sure I had a half
dozen records linking to each (but not all to all three).
2) Do a search for su-br:Arizona (or choose "Subject and broader terms"
on the advanced search screen with "more options" displayed), and
check that you get the records with the subject "Arizona" and the
records with the subject "United States"
3) Do a search for su-na:Arizona (or choose "Subject and narrower terms"
on the advanced search screen with "more options" displayed), and
check that you get the records with the subject "Arizona" and the
   records with the subject "Phoenix"
4) Do a search for su-rl:Arizona (or choose "Subject and related terms"
on the advanced search screen with "more options" displayed), and
check that you get the records with the subject "Arizona," the
records with the subject "United States," and the records with the
   subject "Phoenix"
5) Ensure that other searches still work (keyword, subject, ccl,
   whatever)
6) Use "Did you mean?" page in admin section to enable ExplodedTerms
   plugin
7) Do a keyword search on the OPAC, confirm that searching for exploded
   terms is suggested.
8) Do a subject search on the OPAC, confirm that searching for exploded
   terms is suggested.
9) Do a non-keyword, non-subject search on the OPAC, confirm that
searching for exploded terms is NOT suggested.
10) Disable ExplodedTerms plugin and enable AuthorityFile plugin.
11) Do search on OPAC, confirm suggestions are made from authority file.
12) Sign off
