0779e98ddf Bug 9782: hide cancel button when importing MARC bibliographic frameworks
When importing frameworks the "cancel" button should be hidden once an
import is initiated since it is not possible to cancel the import in
progress.

This patch uses this bug as an excuse to replace the old import/export
pop-ups with modal dialogs for all import/export functions.

To test:

- Try exporting both the default framework and at least one other
  framework.
- Try importing both a default framework and at least one other
  framework.
- When importing, observe that the modal dialog controls are hidden as
soon as the import is initiated.

a0456560a4 Bug 10566 - Improve OPAC course reserves pages
This patch makes various improvements to the OPAC course reserve pages:

- Descriptive page titles for both pages.
- More compact display of course information on course detail page
(a list instead of a table, consistent with other displays of similar
  information in Koha).
- Correct capitalization.
- Added label and fieldset to course reserve search form.
- Added breadcrumb navigation to course reserve detail page as a path
back to course reserves main page.

To test, apply the patch and confirm that the changes haven't broken
anything and are an improvement.

da40fe77fc Bug 10690 - Warn about trailing slashes in description of OPACBaseURL and staffClientBaseURL
The descriptions for OPACBaseURL and staffClientBaseURL are not explicit
about including a trailing slash or not. This patch makes it explicit
that the trailing slash should *not* be included.

To test:
- Apply the patch
- Search for "baseurl" in the system preferences
- Check that the description of both sysprefs includes a warning about
  not including a trailing slash.
- Sign off

If you want to check that the trailing slash is in fact superfluous you
can do something like 'grep -r "BaseURL" *' and check that these
sysprefs are usually concatenated with some string that starts with a
slash.

08330ec05b Bug 10130: widen input fields for library configuration
Most input fields in the library entry form (admin/branches.pl) have no
explicit width, so they display with a browser-default width. This patch
gives explicit widths to those fields, giving more room for entry.

Other fields have been given an explicit width and/or maxwidth according
to the database table structure.

To test, add or edit a library in Administration -> Libraries and
Groups. Form fields should be more comfortable for entry, and add/edit
actions should complete correctly.

fa68cda549 Bug 6594: Schema.org span nesting improvements
So, it turns out that the <a href> was causing a new "chain" to be
invoked, thus nesting the <span> elements for properties within the <a
href> actually caused the properties to be attached to that new chain
rather than the containing object. Therefore, wrap the <span> elements
around the <a href> elements where applicable.

Thanks to Manu Sporny in #rdfa for helping me to sort this out.

I tested by validating against the Google rich snippet tool,
validator.nu, and linter.structured-data.org. All were satisfied
with the microdata markup, and the properties that are set make
sense.

These patches are only for MARC21 XSLT view, but I think it is worth
pushing them even without the NORMARC and UNIMARC markup, so that
people can start to test out schema.org microdata in Koha, and
refine the implementation.

75959da681 Bug 9820: display titles in MARC21 name headings better in XSLT mode
Prior to this patch, if a 100/700 had a $c, it would be
displayed with no space between the contents of $a and $c in XSLT mode.

For example,

100 1#$aSeuss,$cDr.

would be displayed as

SeussDr

The problem was caused by the original version of the stylesheets
drawing a bit too much from the MARC21 to MODS transformation.

To test:

[1] In a MARC21 database, turn on XSLT display mode for
    staff and OPAC.
[2] Create or identify a bib that has a 100 or 700 field
    with both a $a and a $c.
[3] Before applying the patch, verify that the name is
displayed in bib details and search results with the
name and title squashed together. For example, "SeussDr"
[3] After applying the patch, verify that the name displays
in bib details and search results with a space and
intervening punctuation between the name and the title. For

50ff4f4a94 Bug 10081: add library name to IndependentBranches error message
With IndependentBranches turned on, if you try to check out an item
which belongs to another library you will get an error message which is

the KohaBranchName TT plugin.

To test, turn on IndependentBranches and try to check out an item
belonging to another library (note that you must test with a staff user

ba470954fd Bug 9916 - Use DataTables in the OPAC
The OPAC still uses the old tablesorter plugin which isn't being
actively maintained. We use DataTables in the staff client and should in
the OPAC too. The plugin was added a while ago but never implemented on
any pages. This patch upgrades the plugin to the latest version and
places it in opac-tmpl/lib for cross-theme access. The patch implements
DataTables on all pages which previously used the tablesorter plugin.

The old tablesorter plugin is removed.

The customized DataTable configuration script, datatables.js, has been
trimmed-down from the staff client version in order to limit it to only
that functionality required in the OPAC.

Sorting based on date is done based on the data's enclosing <span> title
attribute as it is in the staff client:

<span title=" [% iso date %]">[% date | $KohaDates %]</span>

Slight modifications to Serials.pm and opac-search-history.pl have been
made to accommodate this change.

To test, view each page in the OPAC which uses JS-based table sorting:

- The bibliographic detail page
- The cart
- The search history page
- The suggestions page
- The tags page (logged in as a user who has entered tags)
- The "most popular" page (opac-topissues.pl)
- The logged in user summary page (opac-user.pl)
- The subscription "full history" page (opac-serial-issues.pl?selectview=full)
- The self-checkout main page (with existing checkouts)

Table sorting should work correctly on all pages in both the prog and
ccsr themes. Sorting should work for dates whatever your dateformat
system preference setting. Tables listing titles should exclude articles
("a," "an," and "the" in English) when sorting.

Also test the serial collection page in the staff client, which is
affected by the change to Serials.pm. Confirm that dates are displayed
and sorted correctly.

6b5960cc2a Bug 10405: add IDs for customizable OPAC regions
This patch adds unique IDs for:
opaccredits
opacheader
OPACMobileUserCSS
OpacNavBottom
OpacUserCSS
opacuserjs

This is an amended patch which includes the changes to CCSR which I
forgot to commit before. The patch does not add a unique ID for
opacheader to CCSR, since opacheader is positioned wrong.

This is most useful for previewing changes you make in the OPAC
preferences using the following javascript in your IntranetUserJS:

function showPreview(url) {

If a basket has a lot of items it may be inconvenient to scroll to the
bottom of the patch to reach the "add to basket" form. This patch adds
as "Add to basket" button to the toolbar which uses JavaScript to copy
the form into a modal dialog for quick access.

On intranet, when placing a hold requst:

This works when quota defined in circulation rules is reached but not
when limit specified in syspref maxreserves is reached, in case this

cf902c704b Bug 7257: Add a link to remove an individual title from a list in the OPAC
It should be possible when viewing the contents of a list to click a
link to remove an individual title from the list without having to check
a checkbox and click another button.

This patch adds a link to each list item to "Remove from this list."
The functionality is JavaScript-dependent, automatically checking the
appropriate checkbox and submitting the form to delete.

To test, view a list for which you have delete permission. There should
be a "Remove from this list" link next to each item on the list. Test
delete functionality by:

- Clicking the link and then clicking cancel.
- Clicking the link and confirming.
- Checking more than one checkbox and then clicking a single remove
link (only the one corresponding record should be removed).
- Checking one or more checkboxes and clicking the "Remove from list"
link at the top of the page.

If JavaScript is disabled the links should not appear.

There are now two delete confirmation messages: One if you're removing
only one item, another if you're removing more than one. This is true
whether you use the links or the checkboxes.

976561a384 Bug 5652: display subtitles on patron checkout and holds summary
This patch adds subtitles (from Keyword to MARC mapping) to the
following tables on the checkout page:

- Previous checkouts
- Relative's checkouts
- Relative's previous checkouts
- Holds

Additionally it suppresses the appearence of the superfluous word "by"
in cases where the biblio has no author.

Test scenario:

1)
Make sure that you have one or more fields mapped to subtitle in:
Home . Administration . Keyword to MARC mapping
(e.g. 245 b)

2)
Test the checkout page with patrons having
- current checkouts (today)
- previous checkouts
- relatives (e.g. kids) with current /previous checkouts
- holds on items
- holds on biblios

...with items having:
- title, subtitle, author

- title, subtitle, no author
- title, no subtitle, no author

All 3 patches pass tests and QA script.

Some additional notes on the test plan from the first patch:
It took me a while to figure out a combination of subfields
that would trigger the bug. I am not sure about the condition
that transforms the input field into a textbox as it does
not seem to happen for every field.

What worked in the end was (MARC21):
- $g cost, normal purchase price = mandatory
- $h serial enumeration/chronolgy = optional, filled with
  text over 100 characters

Checked for:
- Adding items in cataloguing
Was able to reproduce the problem, mandatory check works
  as expected.
- Adding items from staged file in acq
Was not able to trigger the problem, because we don't edit
the item here, but mandatory check works as expected.
- Addings items for serial subscriptions

651ea298ea Bug 10543: fix false warnings from checks of mandatory item fields
Under certain circumstances, when editing an item, you get a popup
warning
  "1 mandatory fields empty (highlighted)".

Even though all mandatory fields are filled in.

This occurs when there is a field with a huge content (more than 100
characters) that gets displayed in a textarea instead of input.

This patch corrects the Javascript form check by using siblings().

Also adds a more precise filter to find mandatory inputs because
looking in full page may bring unwanted results.

Test plan :
- In a framework, make sure you have in item field :
An optional subfield (without authorised value),
then a mandatory subfield, then an optional subfield
  next to mandatory subfield
For example : $i (optional), $r (mandatory) and $s (optional)
- Open a biblio record and create a new item
- Enter more than 100 characters in $i, fill $r and $s
- Click "Add item"
- Edit this item
=> You get a textarea for $i
- Empty $s and Save
=> Without patch, you get a warning and form is not saved and you see that $s is yellow while it should be $r
=> With patch, form is saved
- Re-edit this item
- Empty $r and save
=> You get a warning and form is not saved

04dd98fa84 Bug 10552: make several sysprefs available to the OPAC login page
Several system preference variables are unavailable to the OPAC login
template because they are not explicitly enabled for that page. Instead
of adding them to Auth.pm using the old method this patch uses the new
system preference check syntax using the Koha TT plugin.

The following preferences are now checked using this syntax in
masthead.inc:

OpacAddMastheadLibraryPulldown
UseCourseReserves
reviewson
OpacShowRecentComments

In order for the call in masthead.inc to the new plugin to work on all
OPAC pages "[% USE Koha %]" must be added to any template which
includes it (most of them).

Also in this patch: A change to Auth.pm to enable correct display of the
LibraryName in the title of the OPAC login page.

To test, turn on the above system preferences and confirm that the
relevant links appear under the OPAC's main search bar on all pages

f01606d89b Bug 9801: display facet labels in search results only when there are facet values
Currently, the headings for facets (such as location) are showing even
if there are no actual values/links for that facet type.

This patch simply checks if the facet array contains any facets before
printing the heading and HTML for each facet value/link.

Test Plan:

Before applying:

0) If you want to check the location facet (which is easiest),
enable singlebranch mode in the globals system preferences.

1) Do a search for records/items that you have no shelving location
specified (or simply remove the shelving location for a small range
of records that you can find in a search query).

2) Note that "Location" appears amongst the facets even though there
are no values/links present. (If you look at the HTML source, you'll
see some empty HTML tags have been printed out.)

Apply patch.

3) Flush your cache and refresh your page.
4) You should no longer see a "Location" facet (or those empty HTML
tags) on the facet sidebar.

Signed-off-by: Katrin Fischer <Katrin.Fischer.83@web.de>
Template changes only.
Checked according to test plan, made sure location facet
still shows up when values exist, otherwise it's hidden.

It might make sense to add ids to the facets so libraries
can decide to hide some of them easily. Or alternatively
add a system preference to make that possible.

538ab5631e Bug 2774 - Path to theme is hard-coded in many places
This patch corrects more places in Koha where the path to the "prog"
theme is hard-coded in templates, CSS, and scripts.

Staff client home page:

Paths to the Koha logo background image and the module image sprite have
been corrected. Inactive and hover states of the module links
(circulation, patrons, etc) should look correct.

addbiblio.pl:

An <img> tag is replaced with a text link and an
additional CSS class. CSS uses an image-replacement technique to display
the image as before.

To test, open a blank or existing bibliographic record for editing.
Confirm that the "tag editor" icon displays correctly in two cases: 1)
tags linked to plugin editors and 2) tags linked to authorities. Both
should look correct and work correctly.

System preferences:

The system preferences editor appends a "loading" image to system
preference submit buttons when they are clicked. This patch changes
ajax.js to insert a <span> styled with a background-image instead.

To test, open system preferences and modify any preference. Submit the
change and confirm that the "loading" image appears correctly.

Background jobs:

Any place in Koha where a background job is used displays a progress
bar. This patch corrects the path in CSS to the progress bar image. To
test, perform an action which triggers the display of a progress bar.
For instance, batch modification of items. Confirm that the progress bar
image displays correctly.

I don't know if this is still used by anyone, but a couple of image
paths in this CSS file have been corrected.

3834d1f2b4 Bug 10457: fix SQL error when using 'export select items data' in serials claims page
Currently, if you use the "check all" checkbox next to the "Vendor"
table header, and try to "Export selected items data", you'll
see the following SQL error in the Apache error log:

DBD::mysql::st execute failed: You have an error in your SQL syntax;
check the manual that corresponds to your MySQL server version for
the right syntax to use near 'on ORDER BY title' at line 12 at
/.../lib/C4/Serials.pm line 1828.

This is because the Javascript that produces the re-direct URL is
including the value of the checkall checkbox, which is "on",
as a "serialid".

We need to only take checkboxes with a name of "serialid" when
crafting the re-direct link.

This patch adds the [name=serialid] attribute selector to the Jquery
that creates the URL to lateissues-excel.pl from claims.pl.

Test Plan:

Before applying the patch:

1) Go to Serials > Claims (found on the left navigation bar of Serials)
2) Choose a vendor that has serials to claim (or create some late
serials for a vendor so that they will show up)
3) Click on the checkbox to the left of the "Vendor" table heading.
4) Click "Export selected items data" at the bottom of the page
5) Check the Apache error log. Notice that you'll get a SQL error
like the one in the message above.

Apply the patch.

53f82b1d7d Bug 10541: enable cross-browser AJAX in additem.js
Currently, the additem.js is using "indexOf" to search
for a value in an array. While this works in Chrome, Firefox,
and IE > 9, it fails miserably in IE 8 and 7 (which don't have
the indexOf method). This means that users aren't able to add
items using the acquisitions module!

Instead of using "indexOf", we should be using the jQuery function
$.inArray. It was added in jQuery v1.2 (3.8.0 uses v1.3.2 so even
our oldest supported release can use this method). It's perfectly
cross-browser compatible...works in Chrome, Firefox, and every
version of IE that I've tried (i.e. 7, 8, 9).

Test Plan:

Before applying patch:

0) Switch to Internet Explorer 7, or 8, or 9, or 10.

If you're using IE 9 or 10, you'll need to change the Document Mode to
IE7 standards or IE8 standards.

You can do this by opening Internet Explorer 9 or 10, pressing F12 (or
clicking on the gear in the top right corner and choosing
F12 Developer Tools), and then clicking on "Document Mode" on the
top toolbar. There, you can change to IE7 or IE8 standards.

N.B. This is not always a perfect emulation in every case, but this
time it does show you the bug.

1) Set the system preference AcqCreateItem to "receiving an order"
2) Go to Acquisitions
3) Either:
    a) Receive a shipment for a basket with items
    b) Create a new basket, create an order, close the basket, and
       then do 3a)
4) In the "Item" fieldset, fill out some fields such as barcode,
   Date acquiried, Public note, etc.
5) Click "Add" at the bottom of the fieldset
6) Note that while the item may have been added, the "Item" fieldset
is not being shown again. You may also notice a Javascript error
appearing in a pop-up window or you might see a yellow warning flag
on the bottom status bar.

APPLY THE PATCH

7) Do a full refresh of the page (hold down shift and press the refresh
button on the browser next to the address bar), and try adding items
again.
8) Note that you receive no warnings and that items are added correctly
as they would be in Firefox or Chrome.

OPTIONALLY

9) To be sure that I haven't broken anything, go through the same steps
in IE9 (with IE9 standards) or Chrome or Firefox. Everything should be
working.

dbd6befa5d Bug 7019: fix sorting by return date in Circulation History
The "return date" column sort is not using the date sort algorithm because it is
confused by the combination of date data and text data ("Checked out").

14a1bd0e42 Bug 10258: offer to create basket group only when staff user has correct permission
If the staff user does not have the group_manage acquisition permission,
do not offer to create a new basket group when closing an order basket.

This avoids a situation where if a staff member without that permission tries
to close a basket and chose the option to create a bakset group, they would
be redirected to the login page.

To test:

[1] Log in as a staff user that does not have
    the acquisition/group_manage permission.
[2] Create a new order basket, attach at least one
order line to it, then close it.
[3] Verify that the confirmation page does not
offer to create a basket group with the
same name as the order basket.
[4] Log in as a staff user that has the

44364db8d5 Bug 10258: fix permissions check for setting basket group for order basket
Improve the code that displays and allows staff to
set the basket group from the basket details page
for a closed basket.

Prior to this patch, a staff member who did not
have the group_manage acquisition permission would
still see a control to change the group that the
basket belongs to; attempting to change the group
would present with with a login page.

This patch also does some tidying of how basket group
details are passed to the template.

To test:

[1] Create an order basket and close it. Do
not assign it to a basket group.
[2] View the basket details while logged in as
a staff user who has the order_manage acquisitions
permission but not the group_manage. The
displayed basket group should be "No group".
[3] Switch to a staff user who also has the
group_manage permission, then view the basket
details again. The basket group field should
now be a select input that allows you to change
    the basket group.
[4] Change the basket group. Verify that the basket group
you selected is now displayed as the current group
for that order basket. The basket group delivery and
billing place fields should also now be displayed.
[5] Close the basket group set in the previous step, then
view the basket details again. This time, the basket
group name should be displayed with a suffix of " (closed)",
and no input to change the group should be displayed.
[6] Swith to a staff user who does not have the group_manage
permission, view the basket details, and verify that
the basket name is displayed with a suffix of " (closed)".

This patch converts the "Add" and "Clear" links

5e1f8caf60 Bug 10475 - Item form in acquisition not hiding subfields properly
Subfields hidden in your ACQ framework leave a gap where they used to

ca33b7fc63 Bug 10448: can now change framework after duplicating bib record
Changing the framework in the MARC editor immediately after duplicating
a bib record no longer clears the fields.

This patch changes the Changefwk Javascript function so that it passes
the "op" value and the "biblionumberdata" (as the biblionumber) from
addbiblio.pl back to itself, when submitting the form in order to
change the framework.

The reason we need to do this is because the form in addbiblio.tt
is hard-coded to always submit an "op" value of "addbiblio". Currently,
we need to have it hard-coded to "addbiblio", because all the magic
happens in addbiblio.pl when there is an "op" of "addbiblio". If we
always passed the "actual" "op" value, such as "duplicate", nothing
would ever happen when we clicked "save". It seems to me that this
is a flaw in the design of addbiblio.pl.

If we pass the "op" and "biblionumber" when changing frameworks, we're
able to tell addbiblio.pl that we're still wanting to "duplicate" this
"X" biblionumber. However, by having the form still hard-coded to
"addbiblio", when we hit save, the form will do the magic, check if
it's a duplicate, and save the record (or prompt for action if it
is a duplicate).

--

I also noticed that if you make changes to a record, then change
the framework before saving, your changes get cleared (since the
original record from the database is loaded when the page reloads).
It seems to me that this is a bug. Changing the framework should
change the layout while preserving the content. I think most users
would assume that when changing the framework.

This patch also introduces another hidden input into addbiblio.tt and
the Changefwk Javascript called "changed_framework". Basically, if
the Changefwk Javascript is run, it tells addbiblio.pl that the
framework is changed, and it uses the posted data from the form
(which we have been modifying) instead of reloading the record from
the database.

--

Test Plan:

A) Before Applying Patch:

To Show That Changing the Framework Erases All Fields When
Duplicating a Record:

1) Go to any bib record
2) Go to Edit > Edit as new (duplicate). You should see filled
in fields.
3) Change the framework to any other framework than the one
that is currently specified.
4) Note that every single field is now blank

To Show That Changing the Record then Changing the Framework
Ignores Changes, When Editing a Record

5) Go to any bib record
6) Go to Edit.
7) Change the title of the record to "I've changed the title".
8) Change the framework to any other framework than the one that is currently specified.
9) Look at the title. You'll notice it is the original title, and NOT "I've changed the title".

B) Apply the Patch

Also, clear your memcache and shift+refresh your screen. You don't want to use cached templates/javascript.

C) After Applying the Patch

Repeat Steps 1-3 and 5-8.

You should now notice that changing the framework when duplicating the item does not clear all the fields.

You should also notice that any changes you make prior to changing the framework will still exist after changing it.

0fc7d9a0a4 Bug 10522: fix Javascript error on acquisition pages: YAHOO is not defined
acq.js includes an immediately invoked function expression, which means
that it runs whether or not it is called. Because this function tries to
reference the YAHOO object, it triggers an error on pages which don't
include the main YAHOO assets. Only the basketgroups page uses this
function and YAHOO assets.

It's probably possible to make this a regular function, but I propose
simply wrapping it in a check for the YAHOO object so that it only
executes on pages where YAHOO exists--the basketgroups page.

To test, apply the patch, clear your browser cache, and test on both the
basketgroups page and at least one page which also includes acq.js
(addorderiso2709.pl, neworderempty.pl, aqbudgets.pl, suggestion.pl,
etc.) and confirm that the browser reports no JavaScript errors.

When I removed images from the OPAC in favor of sprites I didn't take
into account the display of star ratings from Babeltheque. This patch
copies the star ratings display from Koha's own ratings display,
though it is not dependent on JavaScript.

I'm sure testing would be easy for someone with access to the
Babeltheque service, but I do not. I temporarily modified the template
to set some variables for testing purposes:

    [% SET SEARCH_RESULT.score_int = 3 %]
    [% SET SEARCH_RESULT.score_avg = 3 %
    [% SET SEARCH_RESULT.num_scores = 87 %]

This enabled the display of the ratings, allowing me to confirm that

2d47b85692 Bug 10366: Alert librarian if an invoice number is duplicated
Some vendors ship materials from the same invoice in multiple packages.

If you're using the batch modification tool and entering a call number

41409f500e Bug 6553 - Parentheses in Corporate author break tracings
To test:

If an author's name includes parentheses or other escape-characters, the tracing links
produced in the OPAC fail in XSLT mode. This patch wraps the author names
in double-quotes, providing the necessary escapement.

Test plan:
- Create a new framework, delete Thesaurus from 100 and other fields
- Create a new record in this framework (or change an existing record to this framework)
- Add 100$a - use parentheses

33c12cf395 Bug 8884: (follow-up) rearrange placement of the top-bar div in CCSR
This patch makes it easier to avoid having the top bar
overlap other OPAC page content (particularly custom
header content set via the opacheader system preference).

This is done by moving the top-nav div outside of the
main doc3 div and adjusting the CSS accordingly. Yes,
this does end up having top-nav.inc be included from
opac-bottom.inc, but it would require touching rather
more templates to have it be included immediately after
the <body> tag.

This patch also removes a duplicate instance of the
cmspan span.

To test:

[1] Change to the CCSR OPAC theme.
[2] Before applying the patch, open a set of OPAC
pages (e.g., main page, user page, search results, bib
    details) in your web browser.
[3] Apply the patch, and open the same OPAC pages in separate
tabs. Comparing the pre- and post- version of each page
    to verify that the placement
[4] Add an OpAC header using the opacheader system preference.
[5] Verify that the header is displayed without overlapping
    the top bar.

905292b632 Bug 8884: opacheader is not in the header on CCSR
In CCSR the opacheader preference isn't really in the header it's to the
right of the search box (see attached). I'm okay with a customizable
region over there, but we should have a new preference for that and
header should be above the search box as it implies.

To test:

640124829a Bug 9757: Make staff client list contents view more like search results
This patch revises the staff client list contents view to better match
staff client search results, showing more information and offering more
ways to interact with the contents than before.

- List contents output has been modified so that the staff client can
use XSLT-formatted data just as the OPAC can. As in the OPAC it
  depends on XSLTResultsDisplay being enabled.
- A "toolbar" has been added which is similar to that in search results,
offering the option to add items to a Cart, add them to a different
list, place multiple holds, remove items from the list, or merge
  records.
- This toolbar has been made to float on scroll like the one on the
  MARC edit page.
- Library and shelving location have been added to the display of call
numbers. Call numbers are linked to a search as they are in search
  results.
- Edit links are included just as they are in search results.
- Automatic focus on the add by barcode form has been removed so that
the page doesn't jump to the bottom unnecessarily.
- basket.js's "addMultiple" function has been modified so that it
receives an array of checkboxes rather than looking for checkboxes in
a specific form. This helps abstract its functionality for use on both
search results and lists. results.tt is modified accordingly.
- The page layout has been widened to make room for the increased amount
  of information on the page.
- A new "merge" icon has been added to the default Bootstrap sprite.

To test:

- View both public and private lists in the staff client.
- View lists with and without contents.
- Test the functionality of options in the toolbar: Add to cart, add to
lists, place multiple holds, remove items, merge items.
- Test with users with and without cataloging privileges to confirm that
catalog-related controls are correctly shown or hidden.
- Test with XSLTResultsDisplay set both to "default" and empty.
- Since the staff client and OPAC use some of the same code, test that
lists in the OPAC have not broken.
- Since JavaScript was modified which affects both lists and search
results, confirm that adding items to the Cart and Lists from search
results hasn't been broken by this patch.

Revision corrects conditional display of hold link, hiding it in cases
where there are no items or the record's itemtype is not for loan.

Also corrected is the behavior of the Cart/List "save" button in order
to prevent it from submitting the "remove items" action which is the
default for the form.

The jQueryUI Accordion widget, included by default in Koha, is

29edd3797a Bug 7110: Renewal messages no longer displays in OPAC if OpacRenewalAllowed is disabled
Prior to this patch, if a patron has fines which exceed the limit set by
OPACFineNoRenewals but OPAC renewals are disallowed by OpacRenewalAllowed,
a message was displayed in their OPAC summary like this:

"Please note: You currently owe XXX in fines. Please pay your fines if you wish
to renew your books."

Information about outstanding fines in this case has no bearing on
how the user sees his summary of checkouts; since the user cannot
renew the loans from the OPAC regardless of their fine balance if
OpacRenewalAllowed is not enabled, this patch removes the message.

To test, try various combinations of OpacRenewalAllowed and
OPACFineNoRenewals with a patron who has outstanding fines:

- OpacRenewalAllowed ON and OPACFineNoRenewals ON (set to be triggered
by the test patron's fines): Logging in to the OPAC the patron should
see a warning on opac-user.pl about not being able to renew items
  because of fines.

- OpacRenewalAllowed ON and OPACFineNoRenewals OFF (threshold high
enough not to trigger a block): No warning appears.

- OpacRenewalAllowed OFF and OPACFineNoRenewals ON: No warning appears.

- OpacRenewalAllowed OFF and OPACFineNoRenewals OFF: No warning appears.

If OpacRenewalAllowed is diabled and a patron's fines exceed the limit
set by OPACFineNoRenewals they should see no message.

dc94a9bef7 Bug 10464: Patron search on placing a hold now supports autocomplete
The patron search box for placing a hold request on a bib in the
staff interface now supports autocomplete if the CircAutocompl
system preference is enabled.

This patch grabs the autocomplete handling javascript stuff from patron-search-box.inc
and puts an adjusted version on reserve/request.tt. It sets form and input
IDs to match those configured in the autocomplete call, adjusted where needed to
avoid name collisions with the patron-search-box.inc that is present everywhere.

This patch also doubles the width of the patron search input field.

To test:
- On a biblio record, go to the Holds tab, mine looks like
  /cgi-bin/koha/reserve/request.pl?biblionumber=2
- A search box is shown for patron searching.
- Search for a patron: it works as usual.
- Make sure CircAutocompl is "Don't try"
- Apply the patch
- Click the Holds tab again, and do the same search: functionality should remain intact.
- Change CircAutocompl to "Try"
- Click the Holds tab again
- Autocomplete should show you the possible options, and once you choose one result,

77c646a5db Bug 10343: Rename OpacShowHoldNotes to OpacHoldNotes
As QA followup on report 9722. Built on top of another followup report 10321.

Test plan:
Run the db revision included in the other patch.
Enable OpacHoldNotes. Check that you can add a hold note on opac-reserve.
Do you see it on opac-user and in staff on catalog detail of that biblio?
Do a grep on ShowHoldNotes on the Koha code: grep -i ignores case. You should
find three occurrences only in updatedatabase.pl (the old dbrev and this dbrev
renaming them). These are fine.

In the OPAC, if there are no search groups defined, there's no reason to

ed8e506953 Bug 9744 - Add a column Fund name on the home page of acquisitions
This patch offers an alternative option to fix Bug 9744. In this version
the table of funds swaps positions with the suggestions block so that
the table has the whole width of the screen. This eliminates the need to
adjust its float property.

Other changes:

- Simplification of the column and row-hiding JavaScript
- The addition of an "Active" column to be shown when all funds
are shown (this helps indicate to the user which rows were hidden)
- Linking the fund owner to their patron record
- Linking the fund id, given the correct permissions, to the view of all
funds for that budget (the best alternative to linking to a view of
the fund details, which we do not have).
- Correcting permission level required to add a budget

To test, view the acquisitions home page. The layout should feel
comfortable. The table of available funds should show the fund name.
The checkbox to show all funds should work correctly.

8b9d9cb2d1 Bug 9722: Allow users to add notes when placing a hold in opac
The option of adding a note is controlled by new pref OpacShowHoldNotes.
This development is part of a larger one (see umbrella report 9721).

Test plan:
1 Verify if new pref is disabled by default. Place a hold. You can't add a note.
2 Enable the pref. Place a hold and add a note. Check in staff if you can see
the note in Catalogue Detail/Holds tab.
3 Toggle SingleBranchmode, AllowHoldDateInFuture/OPACAllowHoldDateInFuture,
OPACShowHoldQueueDetails, or OPACItemHolds.
Check the display of columns when placing a hold from opac.
4 Place a few holds with notes from opac search results in one run (enable
DisplayMultiPlaceHold). Check results in staff again.

Remark: A few lines already refer to mandatory note reasons. This is handled
in a subsequent report. No reason to worry.

Revised to fix whitespace problems. Cosmetic changes put in an other patch.

In the list of all the open/closed basketgroups for a vendor, you just

It is not sufficient for libraries using basketgroup.

be869ab279 Bug 8215 - Course Reserves
Adds a course reserves system for academic libraries.

The course reserves system allows libraries to create courses
and put items on reserves for those courses.

Each item with at least one reserve can have some of its attributes
modified while it is on reserve for at least one active course.
These attributes include item type, collection code, shelving location,
and holding library. If there are no active courses with this item
on reserve, it's attributes will revert to the original attributes
it had before going on reserve.

Test Plan:
  1) Create new authorised value categories DEPARTMENT and TERM
  2) Create a new course, add instructors to that course.
  3) Reserve items for that course, verify item attributes have changed.
  4) Disable course, verify item attributes have reverted.
  5) Enable course again, verify item attributes again.
  6) Delete course, verify item attributes again.
  7) Create two new courses, add the same item(s) to both courses.
  8) Disable one course, verify item attributes have not reverted.
  9) Disable both courses, verify item attributes have reverted.
 10) Enable one course, verify item attributes are again set to the
     new values.
 11) Edit reserve item attributes, verify.
 12) Disable all courses, edit reserve item attributes, verify
the item itself still has its original attributes, verify
the reserve item attributes have been updated.
 13) Verify the ability to remove instructors from a course.
 14) Verify new permissions, top level coursereserves, with
     subpermissions add_reserves and delete_reserves.

da6f7fbb2a Bug 7883 - Save and continue editing for cataloging
Patch reworked from Elliot Davis' original patch - but using bootstrap instead of YUI.

This patch adds the ability for catalogers to save and continue editing when adding new biblios.

To Test:

Select an existing item or create a new item in cataloging using your favorite framework.
Edit the bib
From the save menu in the dropdown, select the new option of "Save and continue editing"
If you are missing required fields you should still be prompted to fill them in before saving
Once all required fields are in place you should be allowed to save, and you will be redirected to tab 0.

The original patch claims to redirect to the original tab, but I never observed that behaviour from it - this patch merely takes what was in the original and makes it boostrap.

fac9d5447a Bug 10108 - can't print more than one page of overdues
Printing a report like overdues in Firefox results in a printout which
cuts off in the middle. I traced the cause to something in the YUI grid
system, although I'm not sure what specific definition is the cause.

This patch adds a "screen" parameter to the @import which loads the YUI
grid CSS file. This will disable YUI grid layouts in print views. The
main disadvantage to this, as far as I can tell, is that it will
"linearize" some layouts. For instance: the patron detail page
(moremember.pl) which on screen is divided into two columns. I think
this disadvantage is outweighed by the ability to make complete prints.

To test, apply the patch and clear your cache. Try printing various
reports from Firefox. Printouts should look correct and be complete.

a52bedaeac Bug 10196 - items table partially hidden in marc view in ccsr
In the CCSR theme's OPAC MARC view the table of items is truncated
because the container div is styled with "overflow:hidden." I think the
complete display of information is more important than not seeing a
horizontal scrollbar, so this patch removes the style.

To test, apply the patch and clear your browser cache. View a MARC

table can be seen. Test other pages to make sure no unwanted layout
changes have resulted.

db0fa0eacd Bug 9680 - cart aligned right in CCSR
The CCSR theme sets a min-width of 1000px for windows which are more
than 700px wide. This caused the cart popup window to be given a
min-width of 1000px, resulting in a broken layout with unnecessary
horizontal scrolling.

This patch adds a class to the cart template and to other pop-up window
templates to ensure that a large min-width is not enforced and to give
consistent padding to those pages.

To test, set your theme to 'CCSR' and view the following pop-up pages:

- The Cart. From the cart, trigger:
  - The "send" window
  - The "download" window
- From a view of a List's contents trigger:

218194fab0 Bug 10054 - When SingleBranchMode is enabled, allow superlibrarians to set logged in library
Currently, when SingleBranchMode is enabled, nobody can change the
logged in library in Koha. To change it requires disable
SingleBranchMode, switching the library, and re-enabling it. It seems
reasonable to allow superlibrarians to switch the logged in library even
if SingleBranchMode is enabled.

Test Plan:
1) Apply this patch
3) Enable SingleBranchMode
4) Log in as a superlibrarian
5) Attempt to change the logged in branch
   This change should succeed
6) Log in as a non-superlibrarian account
7) Attempt to change the logged n branch
This should not be allowed, as per Koha's current behavior

Signed-off-by: Owen Leonard <oleonard@myacpl.org>

I guess this doesn't do any harm even though the practical motivations
behind it, as described in the bug, seem otherwise solvable. If
SingleBranchMode is supposed to prevent librarians from switching their
logged in library why can they choose their library when they first log
in? Was SingleBranchMode supposed to only affect the OPAC originally? Or
should the login form be modified? This seems to be a band-aid on a
poorly-implemented feature.

029c4b334d Bug 10201 - Old OPAC patron update system should be removed
The old pages for viewing and updating patron details in the OPAC have
been superceded by the new script opac-memberentry.pl. This patch
removes he old scripts and templates and corrects links to them.

This patch also removes reference to opac-userupdate.tt from
opac-patron-image.pl and replaces the authentication process with one
which uses check_cookie_auth, based on the example of opac-tags.pl.

To test, edit a patron record and set the "Gone no address" flag. Log in
to the OPAC with that account and view the patron details page. The
warning about out of date contact information should link to the new
update page.

Next, attempt to place a hold. You should see the same warning, and it
should also link to the new update page.

Test the display of patron images: Log in as a user who has an image
associated with their account and navigate to

626c27baf9 Bug 8278 - Replace YUI autocomplete in UNIMARC 210c plugin
This plugin, for pseudo-authority-control of publisher information,
used YUI autocomplete to pull existing publisher data from the
biblioitems table. Despite its name it is not UNIMARC-specific.
It assumes publisher name data is saved in biblioitems.

This patch converts the autocomplete to jQueryUI. The search
script has been amended to return valid JSON. The template has
been modified to enable the jQueryUI autocomplete and to add
structure more consistent with other popups.

To test, link the publisher name field in your MARC structure to
the unimarc_field_210c_bis.pl plugin. Open a MARC record for
editing and click the "tag editor" link to launch the plugin.
Type the first few letters of a publisher which exists in your
database. You should get an autocomplete menu of publishers
which match your search. Select one and click the "choose"

361e5f83e2 Bug 7055 - NORMARC: Fix 008 position 15-17 and 35-37
This patch does several things:
- Set the default for 008/15-17 to "no " (yes, there is space at the end)
- Link from 008/15-17 in the value builder to NORMARC country codes
- Set the default for 008/35-37 to "nor" (by setting the
  DefaultLanguageField008 syspref)
- Link from 008/35-37 in the value builder to NORMARC language codes
- Fix a missing <tr> around field 35-37

To reproduce:
- Run through the Web-installer in Norwegian and choose NORMARC as
  the MARC flavour
- Go to Home > Cataloging > Add MARC record and add a new record
- Click in the field for 008. The default should look like:
  130415t        xxu||||| |||| 00| 0 eng d
                 ^^^ ^^^
- Reload the page and open the value builder for 008. Problems:
  - The text for 15-17 links to MARC21 country codes
  - The default for 15-17 is xxu
  - The text for 35-37 links to MARC21 language codes
  - The default for 35-37 is eng
  - If you choose e.g. "Monografier" in the top dropdown then click
on "OK" the window does not close

To test:
- Apply the patch and run through the Web-installer again, selecting
  Norwegian and NORMARC
- Go to Home > Cataloging > Add MARC record and add a new record
- Click in the field for 008. The default should look like:
  130415t        no ||||| |||| 00| 0 nor d
                 ^^^ ^^^
- Reload the page and open the value builder for 008.
- Check that...
  - The default for 15-17 is "no " (with a space at the end)
  - The link goes to NORMARC country codes
  - The default for 35-37 is "nor"
  - The link goes to NORMARC language codes
- Select something from the top dropdown and click "OK". Check that the
window closes and that the values that are entered into the 008 field
matches what you chose in the popup window.

01f7542f4b Bug 10097 - Hide framework selection when importing staged authority records
Currently, when importing authority records using the "Manage staged
MARC records" tool, it will show the text "Add new bibliographic records
into this framework:" followed by a drop-down menu of possible frameworks.

Since these are bibliographic frameworks and we're importing authority
records which do not use them, we have no need to show this information.

I'm proposing just a little patch to display this info only for
bibliographic records. From my tests, everything seems to work fine
without this text and the drop-down, although I've only uploaded one
MARC21 authority record at a time.

--

Test Plan:

Before applying patch...

1) Find yourself an authority record. I recommend downloading your
favourite author from: http://authorities.loc.gov/
2) Stage MARC for import. Choose "Authority" as your record type.
3) Go to "Manage staged records"
4) Underneath the button "Import this batch into the catalog", you
should see the text "Add new bibliographic records into this framework:"
followed by a drop-down of the available frameworks.

Optionally) You can also try this for bibliographic records. You'll find
the same.

After applying the patch...

5) Repeat steps 2 and 3.
6) Underneath the button "Import this batch into the catalog", you
should just see a table listing your MARC record(s).
7) Stage MARC for import. Choose "Bibliographic" as your record type.
8) Go to "Manage staged records".
9) You should find step 4 still to be true (i.e. the "Add new
bibliographic..." text should still be there).

acfbfcb7d9 Bug 9266 - Untranslated strings in tags moderation
There are a couple of English strings in tags moderation JavaScript
which are not properly enclosed in the _() function enabling
translation. As a result, clicking a translated 'Approve' or

neighbor's label to the English string. This patch

To test, apply the patch and regenerate a translation to test with. Go

or rejected). When you click on an 'Approve' or 'Reject' tag in the
table of tags, the buttons in each Approve/Reject pair should retain
their correct translated label. For instance, looking at approved tags
in French:

[ Approuvé ] [ Rejeter ]

72c95fa1cc Bug 10111 - Layout on basket summary page a bit inconsistent
Some details in the summary of basket information were not marked up
consistently with others on the page. This patch makes the markup
consistent for a consistent appearance.

To test, view a basket in Acquisitions which is part of a basketgroup.
Information should be displayed consistently for baksets in both open
and closed basket groups.

b6518e632d Bug 6709 - marc21_field_006.xml and marc21_field_008.xml can't be translated
This patch changes
1) structure and schema for xml files used in MARC21
006 and 008 value builders.
2) JavaScript functions used to show value builders.

Xml processing is enabled in previous patch

Any translatable string has been moved to an xml element,
those strings that no need translation remains as xml
attributes.

NOTE_1: I do not include as translatable material types
codes, because those values are restricted in schema
definition. But this restriction can be removed.

NOTE_2: Anyone with experience in XML/XSD please
check the new schema definition.

NOTE_3: Anyone with experience in the former and
JavaScript please check xmlControlfield.js

To test:
1) Apply the patch
2) Verify that 006 and 008 value builders show and work
properly
3) Update translation files for your favorite language,
a new set of strings must show up corresponding to
names and descriptions on value builders.

Note: messed up patches, sending again.

All tests and QA script pass.

Did regression tests on the plugins for 006 and 008 and could
spot no differences in behavior of the plugins to before.

Also tested the translation process and found it working nicely.
Thank you for fixing this long standing translation bug!

86511b380f Bug 10022 - Multiple tags moderation doesn't work on translated page
When using a translated intranet, tags moderation using checkboxes and a
submit button doesn't work. You get a message "Unknown Operation on x
Term(s)" (translated of course).

This patch corrects by using name="op-[operation]" instead of name="op"
in each submit input.

Test plan :
- Create a new tag on a record
- Go to tags moderation in Tools
=> You should see your tag in pending terms
- Click on checkbox
- Click on Approve or Reject submit button at the bottom of the table
=> Without patch the tag is still pending
=> With patch operation is well performed, tag is not pending
- Test "Check lists" form
- Test Approve and Reject buttons from "Actions" column

Used po files from 3.8 for testing. Looks good!
