outside of the fieldset containing the main body of the form. This
report covers a few templates in rotating collections, suggestions, and
tools.

changes to form structure look correct:

The idea rely on the KohaDates TT plugin for the date formatting. We
should not have any output_pref calls in pl or pm (there are some
exceptions, for ILSDI for instance).
Also flatpickr will deal with the places where dates are inputed. We
will pass the raw SQL value (what we call 'iso' in Koha::DateUtils), and
the controller will receive the same value, no need to additional
conversion.
Note that DBIC has the capability to auto-deflate DateTime objects,
which makes things way easier. We can either pass the value we receive
from the controller, or pass a DT object to our methods.

And a few minor fixes when they where causing issues for
translatability.
And rephrased a string about password reset to have it identical to
other strings with the same meaning.
Simplified via wrapping strings with <span> to split to huge
concatenated strings with a lot of %s everywhere.
== Test plan ==
This patch needs mainly proof reading. Still it's possible to do some
basic testing to demonstrate that adding a <span> in an IF doesn't
break anything.
Pick in one of the 110 modified templates a string that you know how to
display. Otherwise:
1. acquisitions => vendor => basket => add to basket =>
search "from existing record" => add order
2. Cancel the order
3. You see without issue "Bibliographic record will not be deleted"
4. administration => Patron categories
5. Try to delete a used and unused category
6. You see as expected
Category XXXX is in use. Deletion not possible!
and
Confirm deletion of category XXXX

_TEST PLAN_
Before applying:
1) Go to "Tools > Inventory/stocktaking"
2) Note that there is no "Collection code:" option
Optionally:
2b) You can create a Barcode file with a single barcode
2c) Don't select anything from "Select items you want to check" (or filter if you know
how to filter to make it faster... doesn't matter)
2d) Click "Submit" at the bottom of the screen
2e) Note that there is no "Collection code" column in the screen output or CSV output
(ie with/without the "Export to CSV file" box ticked before submitting)
Apply the patch.
After applying:
3) Note that there is a "Collection code" filter on the main inventory screen
4) Create a Barcode file with a single barcode for an item with a collection
and upload it using the "Choose file" button.
5) Select that item's collection code from the "Collection code" filter

Instead of using the machine sortable form of the callnumber from
cn_sort the table was only sorting on the callnumber. This tries
to fix it using the same technique as for sorting the differently
formatted dates.
To test:
- If your database has items with suitably cataloged items, use
these. Otherwise you could use the examples from the bug report:
- Catalog items with the following barcodes:
B 29 V55 1998
B29 .C55 2008
B29 .L24 1983
B29 .L264 1998
B29 .P666 2004
Make sure the LOC is selected in $2 as source of classification
This makes sure the sortable form of the callnumber is calculated
correctly.
- Go to inventory
- Search for your items
- Before patch, they should sort on callnumber as above, after the
patch the correct sort order should be:
B29 .C55 2008
B29 .L24 1983
B29 .L264 1998
B29 .P666 2004
B 29 V55 1998

This patch removes the jquery.checkboxes plugin from the staff client.
It also removes some leftover instances of the "checkboxed" class which
was used in some cases to enable the checkbox plugin on selected
elements.
To test, apply the patch and check that the jquery.checkboxes plugin no
longer exists in /intranet-tmpl/lib/jquery/plugins.
To test changes to the templates, confirm that "Check all" and "Check
none" links still work on these pages:
- The tags review page. See the test plan for Bug 26120.
- The inventory page. See the test plan for Bug 26150.
- The list contents page. See the test plan for Bug 26204.
The other modified templates contained the "checkboxed" class but it
served no purpose:
- Serials -> Serials collection
- Labels -> Edit label batch
- Patron cards -> Edit card batch
If you search the Koha codebase for instances of "checkboxed" the only
results should be from the OPAC (if Bug 26805 hasn't been applied) and
in Z39.50 templates where the class is still used by JavaScript.

In inventory, optional filters are build from authorize values categories used for items.notforloan, items.itemlost, items.withdrawn and items.damaged.
The bug is that description of value 0 is always "For loan".
This seems to be only for "notforloan".
Second bug is that if a description exists for "notforloan" value 0, it is not used.
This patch corrects by adding "For loan" only for "notforloan" authorized values and if there is no 0 value.
It changes the description added by code from "ignore" to a more unlikly user defined "__IGNORE__".
Test plan:
1) Make sure you have authorized values defined on items.notforloan, say "NFL" category, with at least a value and description but no 0 value
2) Make sure you have authorized values defined on items.itemlost, say "LOST" category, with 0 = "Not lost" and 1 = "Lost"

filters explicitely.
This patch has been autogenerated (using add_html_filters.pl, see next
pathces) and add the html filter to all the variables displayed in the
template.
Exceptions are made (using the new 'raw' TT filter) to the variable we
already listed in the previous versions of this patch.
To test:
- Use t/db_dependent/Koha/Patrons.t to populate your DB with autogenerated
data which contain <script> tags
- Remove them from borrower_debarments.comments (there are allowed here)
update borrower_debarments set comment="html tags possible here";
- From the interface hit page and try to catch alert box.
If you find one it means you find a possible XSS.
To know where it comes from:
* note the exact URL where you found it
* note the alert box content
* Dump your DB and search for the string in the dump to identify its
location (for instance table.field)
Next:
* Ideally we would like to use the raw filter when it is not necessary
to HTML escape the variables (in big loop for instance)
* Provide a QA script to catch missing filters (we want html, uri, url
or raw, certainly others that I am forgetting now)
* Replace the html filters with uri when needed (!)

Having to write [% KOHA_VERSION %] for each url is bad because:
- It's easily forgettable when adding new <script> or <link>
- It prevents grep'ing for the full filename
- It violates the DRY principle
- If at some point we want to change the "force js and css reload"
mechanism, it will be tedious
This patch:
- adds a Template::Toolkit plugin that generates <script> and
<link> tags for JS and CSS files, and inserts automatically the Koha
version in the filename
- use the new plugin to remove all occurences of [% KOHA_VERSION %]
- remove the code that was adding KOHA_VERSION as a template variable
Test plan:
1. Apply patch
2. Go to several different pages in Koha (opac and intranet) while
checking your browser's dev tools (there should be no 404 for JS and
CSS files, and the Koha version should appear in filenames) and the
server logs (there should be no "File not found")
3. `git grep KOHA_VERSION` should return nothing
4. prove t/db_dependent/Koha/Template/Plugin/Asset.t

This patch makes two trivial changes in the inventory interface:
[1] If you have uploaded a barcode file, the compare barcodes checkbox is
automatically checked. In most cases this will be the option the user wants.
The compare will report missed items on the shelf.
[2] If the compare barcodes checkbox is checked, the Skip items on loan-
checkbox is automatically checked. This again is often desirable. If you
compare, you normally are not interested in seeing items reported missing
while they are checked out.
Test plan:
[1] Upload a barcode file on inventory. Is the compare checked?
[2] Toggle compare. Does 'skip items on loan' change accordingly?

Status does not tell me that this is the Not for loan column.
Trivial edit.
