This patch is to display corrextly the new dmydot date format e.g. after
using the datepicker or in messages for the user, in following files:
- koha-tmpl/intranet-tmpl/prog/en/includes/calendar.inc
- koha-tmpl/intranet-tmpl/prog/en/includes/date-format.inc
- koha-tmpl/intranet-tmpl/prog/en/includes/patron-search.inc

- koha-tmpl/opac-tmpl/bootstrap/en/includes/calendar.inc
- tools/holidays.pl
To test:
- Apply patch
- Make sure that you have syspref dateformat set to dmydot
- Use datepicker in OPAC (modify birth date), verify that after
choosing a date, it is displayed correctly in the datepicker
- Use datepicker at several places in OPAC, verify that after choosing
a date the date displays properly in datepicker and that the dater format
is properly indicated (e.g. near birth date or near "Specify due date").
- Verify that datepicker works well with hoiday editing and that "From date:"
displays properly

Since we switched to Template Toolkit we don't need to stick with the
sufix we used for HTML::Template::Pro.
This patch changes the occurences of '.tmpl' in favour of '.tt'.
To test:
- Apply the patch
- Install koha, and verify that every page can be accesed

The method of checking the logged in user for superlibrarian privileges
is obtuse ( $userenv && $userenv->{flags} % 2 != 1 ) to say the least.
The codebase is littered with these lines, with no explanation given. It
would be much better if we had one subroutine that returned a boolean
value to tell us if the logged in user is a superlibrarian or not.

2) Verify superlibrarian behavior remains unchanged

The calendar management page uses the old tablesorter plugin. This patch
replaces tablesorter code with DataTables.
In order to easily sort date columns under various dateformat system
preference settings, date columns now sort based on an unformatted date
in a <span>'s title attribute (requiring the patch for Bug 9887).
To test, view the calendar page--preferably with plenty of existing
holiday data to populate the holiday summary tables. Confirm that
sorting works correctly on all sorted tables with the dateformat
preference set in all settings.

Allow to select a range between 2 dates and in one "submit" creates holidays only on these days.
I have added also Holidays repeated yearly on a range.
On suggestions I have added a datepicker for "To Date".

- Put hints, key, and existing holidays into right column
- Style entry form for added clarity and consistency with other
forms in Koha
- Change the way dynamically displayed hints are shown to better
match existing static hints in Koha's interface
- Add branch name (instead of branch code) for clarity
- Add the ability to add and edit holiday titles (previously
only description could be edited).
- Add links to the list of existing single-day holidays and
exceptions which opens the calendar to that month/year

Before this patch, we used to test for flags == 1, which was wrong when patron had all privileges.
This patch just adds a %2 to check that patron has superlibrarian privilege, and maybe something else we don't care.
I think I fixed it everywhere except in acquisition, that will be addressed by BibLibre new acquisition module.

This patch adds a select box to the new holiday form that allows the user to copy the holiday to all branches. If a holiday for a particular location already exists for a location, that holiday and location is not changed.

If a user adds or edits a holiday, the calendar will now return to the month in which the user was working. Also after an add or an edit, if the user selects another location, the calendar remains in the same month for which the add or edit took place. The user sees a 'calendardate' parameter in the URL in the format that is chosen as the system preference. If an invalid date is entered in the url, the current date is used.

Updated all scripts appearing on the tools page
to respect a granular permission defined for
each of them.
The tools menu and home page have been changed so
that only the specific tools that a user has
access are displayed. This is simple, but depending on
the module and circumstance, it may be better to
display functions that the user has does not have
access to, but disable the links and do some sort
of visual styling to indicate that a function exists
but requires additional privileges to access.

* holiday :
in /tools/ the holiday.pl script let you define holidays (days where the library is closed), branch by branch. You can define 3 types of holidays :
- single day : only this day is closed
- repet weekly (like "sunday") : the day is holiday every week
- repet yearly (like "July, 4") : this day is closed every year.
You can also put exception :
- sunday is holiday, but "2006 March, 5th" the library will be open
The holidays are used for return date calculation : the return date is set to the next date where the library is open. A systempreference (useDaysMode) set ON (Calendar) or OFF (Normal) the calendar calculation.
