Fixes redundant includes of the right-to-left.css file.
There is no need to include it in the .tt files as it's part
of the doc-head-close.inc.
Note:
Make sure your *BaseURL preferences are correctly set as
this will make the switching between languages work
correctly and throw you back to the start page otherwise
every time you switch
Test:
- Install an RTL language like Arabic (ar-Arab)
- Test various pages with English and RTL language:
- Authorities home page
- Adding a new bibliographic record
- Adding a new item or editing items
- Advanced cataloguing (Rancor) editor
- Labels start page
- OPAC detail page

DataTables are used on enough pages in the staff client that it
doesn't make sense to put inclusion of the CSS into each template
where it is needed. This patch moves includes of datatables.css from
individual templates into the global header file.
To test, apply the patch and view various pages which have DataTables.
View various styles of DataTables, e.g.
- Full pagination, like item search results
- Four-button, like Saved SQL reports
Everything should look the same as it was.

This patch replaces the fixFloat jQuery plugin with a new one: HC-sticky
(https://github.com/somewebmedia/hc-sticky). This plugin provides the
same functionality without the page-reflow problems fixFloat suffers
from.
To test, apply the patch and regenerate the staff client CSS. Test the
behavior of the floating toolbar on these pages:
- Acquisitions -> Vendor -> Vendor details
- Acquisitions -> Vendor -> View basket
- On both these pages, test toolbar behavior before and after
expanding the "Orders search" options at the top of the page.
- Administration -> System preferences
- Authorities -> Create or edit an authority
- Catalog -> Advanced search
- Search results
- Catalog -> Item search
- Cataloging -> Add or edit a record
- Open the plugin window for the 008 field
- Tools -> Label creator -> New label batch -> Add items -> Search ->

- Patrons -> New patron
- Test before and after expanding the patron search options at the
top of the page
- Test editing a patron too
- Tools -> Automatic item modifications by age -> Edit

Same as Bug 17780 but in value builders.
Select2 (Bug 13501) introduced divs and inputs that broke some
assumptions about the expected HTML structure. This patch checks if
input has name attribute, because some inputs in Select2 have not.
It brakes value builders marc21_linking_section.tt and
unimarc_field_4XX.tt.
Test plan :
1) On a MARC21 database
2) Define 774$0 as a regular subfield
3) Define 774$4 with an authorised value category
4) Define 774$t with value builder marc21_linking_section
5) Create a new record
6) Use value builder in 774$t
7) Search for a record and click choose
8) Without patch : a popup window does not close and show a blank
screen
9) With patch : popup windows get close and you see in field 774 $0 and
$t field with values
10) Same tests with a UNIMARC database on field 461 with value builder

Modals in the staff client which load data via AJAX require an "on

Why? Because we must filter the variables when we display them.
If we escape them on assignement, they will be double escaped:
[% XXX = "<span>pouet</span>" | html %]
[% XXX | html %]
=> <span>pouet</span>
Also it will bring trouble if we are assigning a structure (see bug

Here we go, next step then.
As we did not fix the performance issue when autofiltering
the variables (see bug 20975), the only solution we have is to add the
filters explicitely.
This patch has been autogenerated (using add_html_filters.pl, see next
pathces) and add the html filter to all the variables displayed in the
template.
Exceptions are made (using the new 'raw' TT filter) to the variable we
already listed in the previous versions of this patch.
To test:
- Use t/db_dependent/Koha/Patrons.t to populate your DB with autogenerated
data which contain <script> tags
- Remove them from borrower_debarments.comments (there are allowed here)
update borrower_debarments set comment="html tags possible here";
- From the interface hit page and try to catch alert box.
If you find one it means you find a possible XSS.
To know where it comes from:
* note the exact URL where you found it
* note the alert box content
* Dump your DB and search for the string in the dump to identify its
location (for instance table.field)
Next:
* Ideally we would like to use the raw filter when it is not necessary
to HTML escape the variables (in big loop for instance)
* Provide a QA script to catch missing filters (we want html, uri, url
or raw, certainly others that I am forgetting now)
* Replace the html filters with uri when needed (!)

In Breeding.pm we let Z3950Search return the xslt handler error codes back
to the template. They are converted to text messages by using an new include
file (added for opac and intranet now). The generic xslt_err code is now

In Record.pm the errstr call is removed. The croak is done with the new
error code in err. This seems sufficient.

Add a new system preference MarcFieldDocURL. Setting it to some URL
will make all the MARC documentation links point to that in
the MARC edit UI. Leaving the value empty will use the old defaults
(http://loc.gov for MARC21 and http://archive.ifla.org for UNIMARC).
There are some possible substitutions usable in the URL:
- {MARC} is replaced with either "MARC21" or "UNIMARC"
- {FIELD} is replaced by the MARC field number, eg. "000", "048", ...
- {LANG} is replaced by the UI language, eg. "en", or "fi-FI"
To test:

5) Set the value of MarcFieldDocURL to
http://example.com/?field={FIELD}&marc={MARC}&lang={LANG}

Having to write [% KOHA_VERSION %] for each url is bad because:
- It's easily forgettable when adding new <script> or <link>
- It prevents grep'ing for the full filename
- It violates the DRY principle
- If at some point we want to change the "force js and css reload"
mechanism, it will be tedious
This patch:
- adds a Template::Toolkit plugin that generates <script> and
<link> tags for JS and CSS files, and inserts automatically the Koha
version in the filename
- use the new plugin to remove all occurences of [% KOHA_VERSION %]
- remove the code that was adding KOHA_VERSION as a template variable
Test plan:
1. Apply patch
2. Go to several different pages in Koha (opac and intranet) while
checking your browser's dev tools (there should be no 404 for JS and
CSS files, and the Koha version should appear in filenames) and the
server logs (there should be no "File not found")

This patch modifies the templates for MARC21 editor plugins so that
JavaScript is included in the footer.
To test, you must link the plugins to their corresponding tag +
subfield (if they aren't already):
In a bibliographic framework:
000 -> marc21_leader.pl
006 -> marc21_field_006.pl
007 -> marc21_field_007.pl
008 -> marc21_field_008.pl
773$t -> marc21_linking_section.tt
In an authorities framework:
000 -> marc21_leader_authorities.tt
008 -> marc21_field_008_authorities.tt
-> marc21_field_008_classifications.tt
For each field, trigger the plugin by clicking the plugin link. Test
JavaScript-driven functionality in each plugin window and confirm that
your selections are correctly saved to the editor.

This patch modifies the template which displays cataloging Z39.50
search results so that the "MARC," "Card," and "Import" links are moved
out of separate table cells and into one menu.
The old menu which would appear when any table cell is clicked has been
removed, and code added to display the same Bootstrap menu if a table
cell is clicked.
To test, apply the patch and go to Cataloging -> New from Z39.50/SRU.
- Perform a Z39.50 search which will return more than one result.
- Confirm that clicking the "Actions" button triggers a drop-down menu.
- Confirm that the links in the menu trigger actions for the correct
bibliographic record.
- Confirm that clicking any other table cell in the table of results
will trigger the display of the same menu.

Before this patch set, we used KohaTable to display a table with the
column visibility plugin, and an usual dataTable initialisation for the
filters.
For the lost items report table we will need both.
To do so we need to reorganize the code a bit
We cannot pass a selector but the id of the node which represents the
table. Indeed it is how works currently the filters (we may want to
improve that later)

When using marc21_linking_section cataloging plugin, you get the error :

covered by tests! at /home/koha/src/C4/Templates.pm line 122.
It commes from [% IF ( itypeloo.selected ) %], selected is not defined

- editcatalogue -> edit_catalogue
- editcatalogue -> edit_items
- editcatalogue -> edit_items_restricted
2. Navigate to Administration -> Global system preferences -> Cataloging

case, we want to disallow editing of 952$2, 952$a, 952$b, 952$e, 952$h,

The subroutine C4::Biblio::GetBiblioFromItemNumber was wrong for several
reasons:
- badly named, we can get biblio info from a barcode
- SELECT * from items, biblio and biblioitems
makes things hard to follow and debug, we never know where do come from
the value we display
- sometimes called only for trivial information such as biblionumber,
author or title
This patchset suggests to replace it with calls to:
- Koha::Items->find for item's info
- $item->biblio for biblio's info
- $item->biblio->biblioitem for biblioitem's info
Test plan:
Item's info should correctly be displayed on the following pages:

- transfer book
- checkin
- waiting holds

This patch adds 008 cataloguing value builder for MARC21 classifications
records (LCC, DDC/Dewey, UDC and so on).
For most practical purposes, MARC21 classification records
(<https://www.loc.gov/marc/classification/>) are quite similar to regular
MARC21 authority records, so handling them in Koha is (almost) achievable
by means of the built-in 'regular' MARC21 authority records related
functionalities, but there are some notable differences - in particular,
008 field length and format is not the same.
To test:
1) apply patch
2) link the new plugin (marc21_field_008_classifications.pl) to the 008
field in the existing (or cloned, ..) authority framework of your choice
3) try to add, edit, re-edit 008 field using this "authority" framework,
ensure that the new plugin behaves as it should according to the
Library of Congress specifications for MARC21 classification records
008 field format (<https://www.loc.gov/marc/classification/cd008.html>).

The disadvantage of this patch is that it is not global. However, I
think it's a better long-term solution to the problem.
To test, apply the patch and follow the issue description:
- Make sure more than one language is active for the staff client, so
that the language chooser bar shows at the bottom of each page
- Do one or more Z39.50 searches, to make sure you have some records in
the reservoir
- Go to "Cataloging" and do a "Catalog search", so that the reservoir is
searched. Make sure your search is broad enough that some results from
the reservoir is shown "below the fold"
- Scroll to the last result and click on the "Actions" menu
The direction of the menu should be up instead of down.

C4::Koha::getframeworks returned a hashref of biblio frameworks.
It was mainly used to generate the dropdown list of frameworks.
The scripts modified in this patch did not necessary order the element
by description (frameworktext), the displays were not consistent from
one screen to another.
Using the same search method everywhere:
Koha::BiblioFrameworks->search({}, { order_by => ['frameworktext'] });
We will know always get the framework in the same order.
Test plan:
Following the different pages modified by this patch, and make sure the
frameworks are displayed correctly in the dropdown list:
1/ acqui/z3950_search.pl - Create an order from an external source.
2/ admin/fieldmapping.pl - Define some mappings keyword / MARC field
3/ admin/marctagstructure.pl - On the MARC frameworks admin page, select
another framework than the default one and click on the 'Search' button
4/ catalogue/MARCdetail.pl - On the MARC defail page, change the
framework you want to use to display the record
5/ cataloguing/addbiblio.pl - Add or edit a biblio record, change its
framework. When editing, the framework of the record should be selected
by default
6/ cataloguing/addbooks.pl - Go on the cataloguing home page and click
on the "New record" button. You should see all the frameworks
7/ cataloguing/merge.pl - Select 2 biblio records to merge. On the first
step (select the merge reference), you should be allowed to select the
framework to use.
8/ tools/inventory.pl - On the inventory page, the "Item statuses" part
should be populated as before this patch
9/ tools/manage-marc-import.pl - Stage records for import. Before
importing them into the catalog, you should see the framework dropdown
list.

should be taken into account.

When the "Add multiple items" button is pressed the other submit buttons
should be hidden in order to eliminate confusion about which button
submits the form at that stage in the process.
This patch alters the form so that clicking the "add multiple" button
hides the other two buttons and displays form for submitting the number
of copies to add.
This patch also makes changes to accompanying text in order to make
things (hopefully) clearer. The button text has been changed (again, see
Bug 10346) to "Add multiple copies of this item."
Explanatory text has been added "The barcode you enter will be
incremented for each additional item," because that seemed non-obvious
about the process.

In order to reduce the number of dependencies for common interactions we
should attempt to use Bootstrap modals in place of Greybox ones.
This patch modifies the authorities Z39.50 search results page so that
MARC previews are displayed in Bootstrap modals. This patch also
modifies the authorities toolbar include file to make the Z39.50 search
popup size match that in cataloging.
Because the modal is triggered from a pop-up window, the modal has been
reformated to exclude the footer and reduce the size of the modal
header.
To test:
1. Apply the patch and navigate to Authorities.
2. Click the "New from Z39.50" button to open the search
window.
3. Perform any search which will return multiple results.
4. Test the visible "MARC" link for multiple results and
confirm that the correct data is shown each time.
5. Click anywhere in the results table to show the hidden menu and test
the "MARC" link it displays.

This subroutine does a lot a processing and should only be called when
necessary.
In the get_template_and_user subroutine (so called from any pages of
Koha), it is call to pass the branchcode, title, firstname, surname and
borrowernumber values for the logged in user.
This subroutine calls GetMemberAccountRecords which retrieve the items
infos for all accountlines entries of the logged in user.
On members/members.pl, let's say you have 74 entries in the accountlines
tables, the page will execute 115 SELECT instead of 35 if you don't have any
accountlines entries.
With this patch, the number of SELECT is always 31.
To test this patch you should have technical skills to know what to do.
Note that USER_INFO was an array of... 1 element. Now it's a hashref.

This patch improves the existing merging tool by adding possibility to
merge more than 2 biblios.
There is no functional changes:
- Add some biblios to a list
- In the list check some biblios and click on 'Merge selected records'
- Choose the biblio which will be kept, all others will be deleted
- On the next page you have all biblios you chose in tabs (left side
of the screen) and the preview of result (right side)
- Pick some fields or subfields from records that will be deleted or
delete some fields from reference record.
- Click on 'Merge', if there is no errors you are redirected to the
biblio view.
Added checks for non-repeatable subfields
Added checks for mandatory fields and subfields before submitting the
form.

[1] Template leader_computerfile is not used.

It includes a tiny db revision for those brave people using it. The only
behavior change for them is the focus change.

irrelevant. Some updates to leader have not been incorporated into
the unused leader_book.
