Bug 23514: Split Call Numbers for all layout types
This patch ensures call numbers are properly split for layout types
other than 'BAR'.

Test plan:

1. Go to Label Creator and choose/create a Label Layout with "Choose
layout type: Biblio"
2. make sure you have at least "itemcallnumber" in Bibliographic data to
print/Data fields
3. check "Split call numbers" box and save the layout (ie testlayout)
4. create a label batch, using items that have a call number (ie
DC611.B848 H84 1997). LCC is used here, but you may try with Dewey as
well.
5. export selected batch using any template and the layout you created
in previous step to a PDF
6. Call numbers are splitted (as expected) in the resulting PDF file
7. edit the layout you created in the previous step (ie testlayout) and
change the "Choose layout type:" to either Biblio/Barcode (BIBBAR) or
Barcode/Biblio (BARBIB)
8. export the same batch using the same template and layout as before
9. Call numbers are NOT splitted at all

After patch is applied, call numbers splitting functions are applied
even in Biblio/Barcode (BIBBAR) or Barcode/Biblio (BARBIB) layout types.

Bug 23900: Teach label maker to concat database fields
Test plan:
- define a label layout with this field list: "100a 245s","enumchron copynumber"
- find or create a record with values for all of those fields
- generate a label for that record
- the 100a and 245s successfully display on one line
- the enumchron and copynumber are displayed and separated by a space

Try other combinations

Bug 7468: Print barcodes by range
Adds an option to the label creator to print a range of barcodes.
Only allows printing to PDF.

C4/Label.pm had to get minor changes to override database-based barcode
generation. Same with labels/label-create-pdf.pl. By default, the
barcode is fetched from the database using the itemnumber, but when
printing ranges, you might not have a corresponding database entry.

65c4d8019e Bug 15836: Add the ability to defined custom methods to split call number in labels
Currently the call number splitting seems to be mostly implemented for
DDC and LC classifications.
Those are both not very common in some countries.
A lot of libraries use their own custom classification schemes so the call number
plitting is something that should be individually configurable.

This enhancement adds the ability to define custom splitting rules based
on regular expressions.

How does it work so far?
From C4/Labels/Label.pm there are 3 differents splitting methods defined, depending on items.cn_source.
if cn_source is "lcc' or 'nlm' we split using Library::CallNumber::LC
if cn_source is 'ddc' we split using a in-house method
Finally there is a fallback method to split on space
And nothing else is done for other cn_source

The idea of this patch is to mimick what was done for the "filing rules" and add
the ability to define "splitting rules" that will be used by the "Classification sources".
A classification source will then have:
  * a filing rule used to sort items by callnumbers
  * a splitting rule used to print labels

To acchieve this goal this enhancement will do the following
modifications at DB level:
* New table class_split_rules
* New column class_sources.class_split_rule

Test plan:
* Execute the update database entry to create the new table and
column.
I. UI Changes
a) Create/modify/delete a filing rule
b) Create/modify/delete a splitting rule
c) Create/modify/delete a classification source
=> A filing rule or splitting rule cannot be removed if used by a
classification source

II. Splitting rule using regular expressions
a) Create a splitting rule using the "Splitting routine" "RegEx"
b) Define several regular expressions, they will be applied one after
the other in the same order you define them.
Something like:
  s/\s/\n/g # Break on spaces
  s/(\s?=)/\n=/g # Break on = (unless it's done already)
s/^(J|K)\n/$1 / # Remove the first break if callnumber starts with J or K
c) You can test the regular expressions using filling the textarea with
a list of callnumbers. Then click "Test" and confirm the callnumbers are
split how you expected.
d) Finally create a new classification source that will use this new
splitting rule.

III. Print the label!
a) Create a layout. It should have the "Split call numbers" checkbox
ticked, and display itemcallnumber
b) Use this layout to export labels, use items with different
classification source ('lcc', 'ddc', but also the new one you have
create)
=> The callnumbers should have been split according to the regex you
defined earlier!

Notes:
* The update database entry fill the class_sources.class_split_rule
with the value of class_sources.class_sort_rule
If default rules exist it will not work, we should add a note in the
release notes (would be enough?)
* C4::ClassSplitRoutine::* should be moved to Koha::ClassSplitRule,
but it sounded better to keep the same pattern as ClassSortRoutines
* Should not we use a LONGTEXT for class_split_rules.split_regex instead
of VARCHAR(255)?

* class_sources.sql should be filled for other languages before pushed
to master!

IMPORTANT NOTES: The regular expressions are stored as it, and eval is
used to evaluate it (perlcritic raises a warning about it (Expression
form of "eval"). It can lead to serious security issues (execution of
arbitrary code on the server), especially if the modifier 'e' is used.
We could then remedy the situation with one of these following points:
- Assume that this DB data is safe (We can add a new permission?)
- Assume that the data is not safe and deal with possible attack
Cons: how be sure we are exhaustive? Making sure it matches ^s///[^e/]*$
would be enough?
- Use Template Toolkit syntax instead (Really safer?)
  [% callnumber.replace('\s', '\n').replace ... %]
- Cut the regex parts: find, replace, modifiers
like we already do for Marc modification template. Cons: we are going to
have escape problems, the "find" and "replace" parts should not be
handle the same way (think "\n", "\\n", "\1", "\s", etc.)
I did not manage to implement this one easily.

19a977dc7b Bug 15758: Koha::Libraries - Remove GetBranchName
This is the fourth and last patch set to remove C4::Branch.
The real purpose of this patch is to standardise and refactor some code
which is related to the libraries selection/display.
Its unconfessed purpose is to remove the C4::Branch package.

Before this patch set, only 6 subroutines still existed in the C4::Branch
package:
- GetBranchName
- GetBranchesLoop
- mybranch
- onlymine
- GetBranches
- GetBranch

GetBranchName basically returns the branchname for a given branchcode.
The branchname is only used for a display purpose and we don't need to
retrieve it in package or pl scripts (unless for a few exceptions).
We have a `Branches` template plugin with a `GetName` method which does
exactly this job.
To achieve this removal, we will use this template plugin and delete the
GetBranchName from pl and pm files.
The `Branches.all()` will now select the library of the logged in user
if no `selected` parameter has been passed.
This new behavior could cause regressions, for instance there are some
places where we do not want an option preselected (batch item
modification for instance), keep that in mind when testing.

GetBranchesLoop took 3 parameters: $branch and $onlymine.
The first one was used to set a "selected" flag, for a display purpose:
select an option in the libraries dropdown lists.
The second one was useless: If not passed or set to 0, the
`C4::Branch::onlymine` subroutine was called.
This onlymine flag was use to know if the logged in user was able to see
other libraries infos.
A patron can see the infos from other libraries if IndependentBranches
is not set OR if he has the superlibrarian permission.
Prior to this patch set, the "onlymine test" was done on different
places (neworderempty.pl, additem.pl, holidays.pl, etc.), including the
Branches TT plugin. In this patch set, this test is only done on one
place (C4::Context::only_my_library, code moved from
C4::Branch::onlymine).
To accomplish the same job as this subroutine, we just need to call the
`Branches.all()` method from the `Branches` TT plugin. It already
accepts a `selected` parameter to set a flag on the option to select.
To avoid the repetitive
  [% IF selected %]<option selected="selected">[% ELSE %]<option>[% END %]
pattern, a new `html_helpers` TT include file has been created, it
defines an `options_for_libraries` block, which takes a `selected`
parameter. We could imagine to use this include file for other
selects.

The 'mybranch` and `onlymine` subroutines of the C4::Branch package have
been moved to C4::Context. onlymine has been renamed with
only_my_library. There are only 4 occurrences of it, against 11 before
this patch set.
There 2 subroutines are Context-centric and it makes sense to put them
in `C4::Context` (at least it's the least worst place!)

GetBranches is the tricky part of this patch set: It retrieves all the
libraries, independently of the value of IndependentBranches.
To keep the same way as the existing calls of `Branches.all()`, I have
added a `unfiltered` parameter. If set, the `Branches.all()` will call
a usual Koha::Libraries->search method, otherwise
Koha::Libraries->search_filtered will be called. This new method will
check if the logged in user is allowed to see other libraries or only
its library.
Note that this `GetBranches` subroutine also created a `category` key:
it allowed to get the list of groups (of libraries) where this library
existed. Thanks to a previous patch set (bug 15295), this value was
not used anymore (I may have missed something!).

Note that the only use of `GetBranch` was buggy (see bug 15746).

Test plan (for the whole patch set):
The best way to test this whole patch set is to test with 2 instances: 1
with the patch set applied, 1 using master, to be sure there is no
regression.
It would be good to test the same with `IndependentBranches` and the
without `IndependentBranches`.
No difference should be found.
The tester must focus on the library dropdowns on as many forms as
possible.
You will notice changes in the order of the options: the libraries will
now be ordered by branchname (instead of branchcode in some places).
A special attention will be given to the following page:
- acqui/neworderempty.pl
- catalogue/search.pl
- members/members-home.pl (header?)
- opac/opac-topissues.pl
- tools/holidays.pl
- admin/branch_transfer_limits.pl
- admin/item_circulation_alerts.pl
- rotating_collections/transferCollection.pl
- suggestion/suggestion.pl
- tools/export.pl

Notes for QA:
- There are 2 FIXMEs in the patch set, I have kept the existing behavior,
but I am not sure it's the good one. Feel free to open a bug report and
I will fill a patch if you think it's not correct. Otherwise, remove the
FIXME lines in a follow-up patch.
- The whole patch set is huge and makes a lot of changes.
But it finally will tremendously reduce the number of lines:

0ac72275aa Bug 12068 - label-create-pdf.pl Add support for RTL language
On top of Bug 8375

If you print a label using arabic/hebrew script,
letters are printed in logical direction, from left
to right, giving a mangled result

This patch will try to fix those cases adding a new
perl dependency, Text::Bidi, and using the automagic
feature if it's log2vis() function to rearrange chars
based on detected text 'direction'

To test:
1. Install Text::Bidi package
(apt-get install libtext-bidi-perl)

2. Try a batch, using Helvetica, with a mix of
ltr and rtl (arabic/hebrew) titles, chars are good,
but direction is bad

NOTE: I suggest changing the mapping for 'HO' font
on koha-conf.xml, from DejaVuSans-Oblique.ttf to
DejaVuSans.ttf to view 'title' chars

3. Apply the patch

4. Try again, now the result is good

Formerly a followup of Bug 8375, look sample pics
on that Bug.
Rebased following changes on Bug 8375

Note: Arabic titles will not be displayed, because
current code selects Oblique variant (unless you
change mapping as suggested on 2. )
Hebrew looks good.

845af19915 Bug 8375: (follow-up) fix font code and alignment
This patch fixes two problems:
a) Bad PDF when using Helvetica font.
Current label code assigns 'italic' or 'oblique' variants
to title. Helvetica-Oblique was not defined, but is present

b) Bad alignment using center/right justification
Problem was bad font parameter passed to StrWidth
routine

To test:
1. Try making a batch using Helvetica, downloaded PDF do not open.
2. Try a batch of mixed scripts with layout alignment center or
right, only latin scripts align almost correctly.
3. Apply the patch and update your koha-conf.xml to add Oblique variant
4. Try again 1, now PDF opens
5. Try 2, now alignment is correct

New problem (for another bug): DejaVuSans has a good
support for arabic, but not Oblique variant. As selection
of italic/oblique is hardcoded, now Arabic titles are
not displayed. I'll try to add a checkbox to select
or not this feature.

edb8bddff0 bug 9370: improve splitting of LC call numbers for labels
Use the Perl module Library::CallNumber::LC to parse and split
LC call numbers when generating spine labels.

For example, QH541.15.C6 C25 2012 should be split as follows:

QH
541.15
.C6
C25
2012

To test, create an item with call number QH541.15.C6 C25 2012
and classification source LC, then create a spine label for that
item using a layout of type 'biblio' that has the split call numbers
option enabled. The call number should be split as indicated above.

18d4772323 Bug 6448 [3/3] EAN-13 barcode labels
Current implementation doesn't scale barcodes because low-price
CCD barcode readers are very sensitive about size

Test scenario:

1. in Tools > Labels create or edit Layout and select EAN13 as barcode
   type

2. export one of existing batches using EAN13 layout and verify that
   generated pdf file contains barcodes

3. print pdf file and test it with barcode reader

c7ba7fa8b2 Bug 7615 - Give option to use description for homebranch/holding branch in label creator instead of the branchcode
This patch adds the ability to print the name of the item's homebranch on labels

Thanks to Shane Sammons <ssammons-at-npelem.com> for the modified SQL SELECT statement.

Document Manager: The documentation will need to be updated to reflect the added field 'branchname' to the list
of available fields for label printing.

To test:

1. Create a new label layout or modify an existing one to include 'branchname'
2. Create a new label batch or using an existing one, export the batch.
3. Verify that the resulting labels contain the home branch name for the respective items.

d2f49e1976 bug 5653: use itemcallnumber in bib label layouts
The sample bib label layouts and the hard-coded default
format_string for new layouts used 'callnumber' when they
should have used 'itemcallnumber', preventing call numbers
from being printed on spine labels that use the system-supplied
layouts. Besides correcting the sample data, this patch
now also enshrines 'callnumber' as an alias for 'itemcallnumber'.

3bab38c3fc Bug 3706 Label templates/layouts do not save properly
Two issues here:

1. No radio box was selected by default in the format section of the layout editor. This actually needs some additional attention to allow the user
to establish a default method of entering the format string. As noted in comments in the code, this would probably be best implimented by adding yet
another syspref. However, I don't have time atm.

2. On saving a new template, if no profile was assigned to the new template, the script threw an error and died.

Both issues are addressed in this patch.

39f870c5f9 Bug 3649 Code39 Mod10 and Mod43 barcodes are produced with Mod9 checksums
This may not present a problem inside of Koha, but would if scanned with
software expecting mod10 or mod43.

Current code uses the 'visa' method of the Algorithm::CheckDigits module which
produces mod9 checksums.

The patch changes to using 'code_39' for mod43 and 'siret' for mod10.

c25dc92fd1 Bug 2500 Correcting incorrect splitting of cutter numbers
This patch does two things to improve the call number splitting algorithms:

1. It makes changes to ensure that cutter numbers are split correctly in ddcns

2. It moves custom/fiction/biography call number splitting to a separate algorithm.
Before they were incorrectly placed in ddcns.

This patch also modifies the call number splitting tests to accept call numbers from the
command line to allow quick testing of any give call number against a particular algorithm.

0bbcfeda0e replace syslog with warns
As discussed with Chris Nighswonger on #koha, this patch
removes the calls to syslog and replaces them with warns
so that error messages generated by the labels code
are sent to the Apache error log. This avoids splitting
this sort of logging across multiple files and is consistent
with current practice in most of the rest of Koha.
