30196fcdf3 Bug 29240: Centralise from/to handling
This patch moves to using a data-start_for attribute to point the 'from'
flatpickr to the 'to' flatpickr.

We also fix the date validation issue in the onClose handler inline.

Test plan.
1. Check that the from/to datpicker combinations work on each of the
   changed pages.
2. Look at the console for errors, there should be none

1243607316 Bug 29233: Correct missed jQueryUI datepicker in serials search sidebar
This patch fixes the serials search sidebar so that the "Expires before"
field uses Flatpickr instead of jQueryUI datepicker.

To test, apply the patch and go to Serials. Perform a subscription
search which will return multiple results.

In the sidebar, test that the "Expires before" field uses a
Flatpickr widget and works correctly.

cde87a34a1 Bug 28958: Use Flatpickr on serials pages
This patch replaces the use of jQueryUI's datepicker on serials pages.

To test, apply the patch and test the following serials pages to confirm
that datepickers work correctly. "Linked" date fields should prevent a
"to" selection which preceeds the selected "from" date.

- Claims -> Choose vendor -> Filter missing issues (linked "from" and
  "to" fields).
- Check expiration -> "Expiring before" field.
- Manage numbering patterns -> New numbering pattern -> "First issue
  publication date" field.
- Serials advanced search -> "Expires before" field.
- Subscription search results -> Check multiple checkboxes -> Edit
  selected serials: "Expiration date" field.
- Subscription details -> Serial collection -> Edit serials ->
"Published on" and "Expected on" fields.
- Subscription details -> Renew -> "Start date" field in the popup
  window.
- Subscription details -> Edit subscription -> Page 2 -> "First issue
publication date," "Subscription start date," and "Subscription end
  date" fields.
- Locate a subscription with manual history enabled. From the
subscription detail page, click the "Planning" tab, then "Edit
history" -> Linked fields "Subscription start date" and "Subscription
  end date."

20450829eb Bug 26838: Improve styling of checkin message
This patch makes some changes to the style and use of the "problem"
class in the staff interface:

- Remove the background color
- Remove the extra line height

Some changes to the template:

 - Remove the problem class from the checkin message. The checkin
message configuration determines whether the dialog is an alert or a
   message-style dialog.
 - Add Font Awesome icons to the "problem" messages in patron details
and serials collection. This is to help emphasize the message for
users who might have difficulty seeing the color difference.

To test, apply the patch and rebuild the staff interface CSS
(https://wiki.koha-community.org/wiki/Working_with_SCSS_in_the_OPAC_and_staff_client).

 - Go to Administration -> Item types and configure a checkin message
for an item type: Add a message and select "Message" as the checkin
   message type.
 - Check in an item with that item type and confirm that you see the
checkin message. It should be displayed in a message-style dialog
   without any additional styling.
 - Change the item type configuration to use "Alert" as the checkin
message type. Confirm that the correct style is shown in this case as
   well.

 - Locate a patron with a NULL value in borrowers.password. View the
   detail page for that patron.
 - Under the "Library use" heading, the "Password" line should contain a
link with the text "Undefined," preceded by a red-colored Font
   Awesome icon.

 - In Serials, locate a subscription which is expired.
 - View the details for the subscription, and then open "serial
   collection" from the sidebar menu.
 - On the serial collection page there should be a cell in the
subscription summary table showing the message "Subscription expired"
preceded by a red-colored Font Awesome icon.

eeca29afed Bug 23243: Restore filtering out historic expired subscriptions
The 'Check Expiration' page in Serials is now hardcoded to display all
expired subscriptions before the entered date. This patch restores the
ability to limit the results to just those expiring between 'today'
and the date entered.

Original code taken from bug 6968 autored by Maxime Pelletier, rebased
by Charles Farmer and then moved to a new report and rebased again by
Martin Renvoize.

Test plan:
1) Without the patch any results after a search from this page will
result in matches both before after todays date (but before the date
   you entered).
2) With the patch you should see a 'Show historic expirations' checkbox
which will allow you to limit the results to just those that expire
between the date you enter and today.

2f292b25ce Bug 26703: serials folder
Swapped the order of the page titles to have the unique information
first, i.e. the name of the specific page displays first, and the name of the website (e.g. Koha) displays at the end.

To test:

2) Ensure each of the files in the serials folder are swapped around

5844622665 Bug 28066: Remove select tag's size attribute where it is 1
This patch removes the "size" attribute from <select> tags where the
value of the attribute is 1. The attribute is unnecessary because the
default value when the attribute is undefined is 1.

This will allow for more careful sizing of <select> tags without a size
attribute while preserving the desired behavior of <select> tags which
have a size greater than 1.

The patch modifies 83 files but makes the same minor corrections to
each. I think examining the diff is sufficent, or testing a
representative set of pages:

 - Administration -> MARC frameworks -> MARC structure -> Edit tag:
   The "Authorized value" select.
 - Patrons -> New patron: The "Library" select.
 - Reports -> Patrons with no checkouts: The "Into an
   application" selects.

If anyone would like help testing any particular template I can
follow-up.

e44b187b47 Bug 27998: Replace obsolete title-string sorting: Serials templates
This patch modifies several serials templates to replace the use of
the "title-string" DataTables sorting method with the newer "data-order"
attribute.

To test, apply the patch and view the following pages to confirm that
columns containing dates sort correctly when using any setting of the
"dateformat" system preference:

- With the Mana service configured in system preferences, go to Serials
-> New subscription and add a subscription for a bibliographic record
which will match titles in Mana. In the Mana search results, the "Last
  import" column should sort correctly.
- Serials -> Claims
- Serials -> Search
- Serials -> Subscription details
  - The affected table is "Acquisition details," so your subscription
must have orders associated with it (I eyeballed this change, so
could use extra help testing this area).
- Serials -> Subscription details -> Serial collection

b3b87dc7d9 Bug 26806: Remove the jquery.checkboxes plugin from the staff client
This patch removes the jquery.checkboxes plugin from the staff client.

It also removes some leftover instances of the "checkboxed" class which
was used in some cases to enable the checkbox plugin on selected
elements.

To test, apply the patch and check that the jquery.checkboxes plugin no
longer exists in /intranet-tmpl/lib/jquery/plugins.

To test changes to the templates, confirm that "Check all" and "Check
none" links still work on these pages:

- The tags review page. See the test plan for Bug 26120.
- The inventory page. See the test plan for Bug 26150.
- The list contents page. See the test plan for Bug 26204.

The other modified templates contained the "checkboxed" class but it
served no purpose:

- Serials -> Serials collection
- Labels -> Edit label batch
- Patron cards -> Edit card batch

If you search the Koha codebase for instances of "checkboxed" the only
results should be from the OPAC (if Bug 26805 hasn't been applied) and
in Z39.50 templates where the class is still used by JavaScript.

ea72b15480 Bug 26256: Move translatable strings out of templates and into serials-toolbar.js
This patch removes the definition of translatable strings out of
templates and into the corresponding JavaScript file, using the new JS
i81n function.

To test:

- Apply the patch and go to Serials and search for a subscription.
- Open the detail page for an open subscription.
- Click the "Close" button. You should get a confirmation, "Are you
sure you want to close this subscription?"
- Confirm that you want to close it.
- When the page reloads, click the "Reopen" button. You should get a
confirmation, "Are you sure you want to reopen this subscription?"
- Cancel.
- Choose Edit -> Delete subscription. You should get a confirmation,
"Are you sure you want to delete this subscription?"
- Perform the same tests from the "Serial collection" page.

TESTING TRANSLATABILITY

- Update a translation, e.g. fr-FR:

  > cd misc/translator
  > perl translate update fr-FR

- Open the corresponding .po file for JavaScript strings, e.g.
  misc/translator/po/fr-FR-messages-js.po
- Locate strings pulled from
  koha-tmpl/intranet-tmpl/prog/js/serials-toolbar.js for translation,
  e.g.:

msgid "Are you sure you want to delete this subscription?"
  msgstr ""

- Edit the "msgstr" string however you want (it's just for testing).
- Install the updated translation:

  > perl translate install fr-FR

- Switch to your newly translated language in the staff client
and repeat the test plan above. The translated strings should
  appear.

(admin/columns_settings.yml) files have not been moved to not break
shortcuts and abits people could have. But if QA decides, it could be
easy to do.

Bug 25282: Correct Bootstrap dropdown button markup
Incorrect markup surrounding Bootstrap dropdown buttons causes display
problems with the buttons are in a DataTable. Dropdown wrapper <div>s
must have a "btn-group" class.

To reproduce the problem, look at the MARC bibliographic frameworks
page. The "Actions" menu when triggered will not line up with the
button.

In almost all cases, dropdown buttons inside tables should also have the
"dropup" class on their wrapper so that the menu appears above the
button. This prevents the menu from disappearing off the bottom of the
window when the button is positioned low in the viewport.

To test, apply the patch and test the button menus in tables on the
following pages:

- Acquisitions -> Invoices
- Acquisitions -> Add to order -> From external source -> Results
- Acquisitions -> Suggestions
- Administration -> Budgets
- Administration -> Funds
- Administration -> Authority types

Bug 16962: Remove the use of "onclick" from serial collection template
This patch removes the use of event attributes like "onclick" from the
serial collection template. Events are now defined in JavaScript.

To test, apply the patch and go to Serials

- Locate or create a subscription for which an item record is NOT
  created when receiving.
  - On the serial collection page for this subscription, test that the
    "Multi receiving" button works correctly.
  - For any subscription, test that the "Generate next" button works
    correctly.
  - In each tab, test that the "select all" and "clear all" links work
correctly and affect only that tab.
  - On a subscription which has expired, test that the "Renew" button
    works correctly.

Bug 7046: Implemented subscription renewal dropdown sub length element
To make this work I moved the _get_sub_length function from
subscription-add.pl to C4/Serials.pm so that the subscription-renew.pl
script could also call it to store the sublength for the appropriate
field of the subscriptions database table.

Test plan:
1. Create a subscription and notice that there is a dropdown box for sub
length containing the values: issues, weeks, months
2. Renew the subscription and notice that there are 3 input text boxes:
'number of num', 'number of weeks' and 'number of months'
3. Input a 'Number of weeks' value of 2
4. Query the subscription database table and notice that the value of 2
has been stored in the weeklength field for the subscription record you
   just renewed
5. Apply the patch
6. Renew the subscription and notice that there is now a sublength
dropdown box containing issues, weeks and months
7. Set the month value to 3
8. Query the database and notice that 3 was stored in the monthlength
   field for the subscription record
9. Create a new subscription and select the sub length values of issues
   and 3
10. Query the database and notice that the numberlength field for the
subscription you just created is set to 3 showing that the sublength
dropbox is still working for creating a new subscription

Bug 24941: Serials - Fix link to basket from acquisition details information
Adding orders from subscriptions makes acquisition information visible
in the serials module. In the table of acquisition data is a link back
to the basket - but this link is missing the basket number parameter -
it doesn't work. This patch fixes the TT variable to make it work.

To test:
- Add a subscription
- Add a new basket
- Add a order line using "Add from subscription"
- Go to the subscription details page, check the acquisitions tab
- Try the link to the basket - it should not work
- Apply patch
- Try the link again - now it should bring up the basket page with
  the order.

Bug 23888: Do not allow invalid vendor id on creating a subscription
It will avoid crash and invalid data when creating/updating a
subscription.

This could have been done with a AJAX query but seems more convenient
this way.

Test plan:
- Create or update a subscription
- In the "Vendor" input try an empty string, a valid vendor's id, and
invalid one.
=> With an empty string you get the existing alert message
=> With a valid id you do not get any messages
=> With an invalid id you are not allowed to go to page 2

Bug 17674: Handling of special cases
This patch adds handling for those 2 particular cases:
1. Deleting the expected issue
2. Deleting a serial and it's item, but one item cannot be deleted

To test:

1.1 Create a subscription that creates items
1.2 Receive two issues
1.3 Use the new button to delete the 'Expected' issue
1.4 The issue is correctly deleted, but the new expected issue created
to replace the one which has been deleted don't have a published or
received date and is show in it's own tab.
1.5 Apply patch
1.6 Repeat steps 1.1 through 1.4
=> The new expected issue is created correctly

2.1 Use the same serial as in 1 or repeat step 1.1 and 1.2
2.2 Check out one of the items
2.3 Delete the corresponding serial and check box to delete items
2.4 The serial is deleted, but not the item.
=> No feedback is show to the user
2.5 Apply patch
2.6 Repeat step 2.1 through 2.4
=> As before, the serial is deleted, but not the item
=> This time, an error is shown to inform the user

Bug 7047: Storing subscription renewal note in suggestion to be displayed on the suggestion page.
Additionally I have added a library input field in case the librarian wants to set a library branch whilst renewing a subscription. With the use case being they may have ommitted to set the branchcode whilst creating the subscription.

Test plan:
1. Create a subscription (if one does not already exist)

2. Set the RenewSerialAddsSuggestion syspref to 'Add'

3. Renew the item making sure to write in a value into the note field

3. Visit the suggestions page and notice that the note is not displayed
for the newly created suggestion

4. Apply patch

5. Repeat step 3. Notice that there is now a new branchcode dropdown
box. Select one of your libraries and write in the value into the note
field

6. Visit suggestions and notice there is now a 'Suggestion note' column
in the table containing the note.

Also note that the suggestion has the correct branchcode associated with
it

Bug 21232: Add a client-side check on biblionumber when creating a subscription
This patch adds an AJAX call to the REST API (/api/v1/biblios/) to
retrieve and display the biblio's title.
On clicking the "next" button a check is done to make sure the title
exists, which means the biblionumber we manually entered is valid (can
we assume a title is mandatory?)

Test plan:
- Create or edit a new subscription
- Enter an invalid biblionumber in the input
=> A friendly note is telling you that the biblio does not exist
- Try to switch to the next screen
=> You get an alert
- Enter a valid biblionumber in the input
=> The title is displayed
=> Try to switch to the next screen

Bug 23435: Add multiple copies of an item when receiving in serials
This feature allows you to add multiple item records when receiving a
serial, if the subscription is set to 'create item record when receiving
serials'. Please note this is not the same as multi-receiving, more like
multi-adding!

To test:
1) Create a subscription, ensure the 'Create an item record when
receiving this serial' option is selected
2) Receive a serial
3) Expand the item form by selecting 'click to add item'
4) Fill in details, including a barcode. Leave 'number of copies' as 1
and Save.
5) Confirm the serial is received as expected.
6) In another tab, open the bibliographic record attached to this
subscription
7) Confirm the item record was created upon receiving the serial
8) Go back to the serial collection and receive next serial
9) Expand the item form by selecting 'click to add item'
10) Fill in details again, this time change 'number of copies' to a
different number e.g. 3, and Save
11) Confirm the serial is received as expected.
12) Check back at the biblio record that 3 item records were created and
the barcode was incremented for each additional item.

Bug 8260: user rank order instead of absolute rank to set dropdowns on routing.pl
When deleting a borrower on a routing list we leave a gap in the numbering. It appears to only be a problem when viewing
or editing the list in the staff client.

Rather than use the rank in the DB to set the values, we use the implicit order

To test:
1 - Create a subscription (or find one)
 2 - Add a routing list
 3 - Add five patrons
4 - Delete the patron who is third in the list
5 - Edit the routing list
