The "by" after the title was not translatable in the result
lists of the intranet. This patch fixes it by removing
a comment, that caused a problem with the translation
scripts.
To test:
Test:
Before this patch in file en-GB-marc-MARC21.po present next paragraph:
msgid "by "
msgstr " by "
According string "by " in the file MARC21slim2intranetResults.xsl can not be translated (in other languages).
After applying this patch performed next command:
cd /usr/share/koha/misc/translator
sudo env KOHA_CONF=/etc/koha/sites/mykohainstance/koha-conf.xml PERL5LIB=/usr/share/koha/lib perl -I /usr/share/koha/lib "./translate" update
Now in the file en-GB-marc-MARC21.po present the following (modified) paragraph:
msgid "by "
msgstr " by "

Test Plan
1: Add something inside c and h of 245 on a Bibliographic Record. There won't be a space between
the c and h
2: This will occur on both the search results and the details pages of
the record in both the intranet and opac.
3: Apply the patch
4: Refresh and see that there is now a space between c and h.

This patch adds some missing literary formats to the staff client and
OPAC's search results XSLT display.
To test you must have DisplayOPACiconsXSLT and DisplayIconsXSLT system
preferences enabled. XSLTResultsDisplay and OPACXSLTResultsDisplay
should be set to 'default.'
Perform searches in the staff client and the OPAC and confirm that the
following literary forms (defined in 008 position 33) display correctly:
Not fiction; Fiction; Dramas; Essays; Novels; Humor, satires, etc.;
Letters; Short stories; Mixed forms; Poetry; Speeches.

This patch respect previous css classes
.authordates and .relatorcode but also include .titleportion
.authordates {display: none;}
.titleportion {display: none;}
.relatorcode {display: none;}
To test:
- Stage the two record attached with titles:
- Surface & coatings technology.
- Women crime writers.
- Reindex zebra (necessary to Opac and Itranet results)
- Leave empty the OPACUserCSS and IntranetUserCSS sysprefs
- Go to the new records in OPAC and Intranet detail page
- See the wrong display of dates
- Apply patch and refresh the page
- Test in OPACUserCSS and IntranetUserCSS the css stated before
- Play deleting or adding the classes
- Test with multiple records with 700 (with and without dates, etc;
710 and 711)
NOTE: dates in 710 and 711 can be hidden with .titleportion class;
dates in this kind of heading go with another data for example:

With the changes for RDA now more subfields for the fields
100, 110, 111, and 700, 710, 711 are displayed.
One of them is $d - Dates associated with a name
This patch adds separate treatment of the $d subfield and
wraps it in a span with the class "authordates".
This makes it possible to hide the information with CSS.
To test:
- Make sure you have several records with $d catalogued
- Check the display in result list and detail page
with and without the page.
- Check, if there is a difference in display
- Check if the dates are correctly wrapped in a span
- Try to hide the information, using the following
entry in your *UserCSS preferences:
.authordates { display: none; }

Makes 264 repeatable, prefer 264 over 260. If 264/ind1=3 is present in the

With the system preferences DisplayIconsXSLT and DisplayOPACiconsXSLT we control
the visibility of the material type, format and audience information in staff
and OPAC.
Sometimes a library might only want to hide a part of that information - for
example, hide audience but keep the material type icon.
This patch adds CSS classes to make it easier to style this section of the page
and hide parts of the information.
To test:
- Verify that OPAC and staff result lists for various types of materials
still display nicely.
- Take a look at the HTML and verify, that label and text are now
wrapped into a new span with a results_* class.
- Try hiding a part of the information, for example in OpacUserCSS:
.results_material_type {
display none;
}

The staff client's XSLT results view does not respect the choice set in
the IntranetBiblioDefaultView system preference. This patch adds a check
of the preference to the staff client's results view for MARC21.
To test you must have the staff client configured to use the XSLT view
for search results. Perform any search and test the link to a title's
detail page. Switching the value of the IntranetBiblioDefaultView
preference should be correctly reflected in the search results links.

In the results view for OPAC and Intranet search results, titles are
currently displayed in 245 $a $b $h order. In detailed view the titles
are displayed in the better 245 $a $h $b order.
This patch corrects the behaviour for NORMARC and MARC21: all now
display 245 $a $h $b.
To test:
- Find records containing 245 $a $b and $h fields.
- Compare the way they look in detail and results view in OPAC
(non-bootstrap) and intranet (you should see a discrepancies).
- Apply the patch.
- Re-check detail and results view: all should now look the same in
both OPAC (non-bootstrap) and intranet.

Prior to this patch, if a 100/700 had a $c, it would be
displayed with no space between the contents of $a and $c in XSLT mode.
For example,
100 1#$aSeuss,$cDr.
would be displayed as
SeussDr
The problem was caused by the original version of the stylesheets
drawing a bit too much from the MARC21 to MODS transformation.
To test:
[1] In a MARC21 database, turn on XSLT display mode for
staff and OPAC.
[2] Create or identify a bib that has a 100 or 700 field
with both a $a and a $c.
[3] Before applying the patch, verify that the name is
displayed in bib details and search results with the
name and title squashed together. For example, "SeussDr"
[3] After applying the patch, verify that the name displays
in bib details and search results with a space and
intervening punctuation between the name and the title. For
example, "Seuss, Dr."

of the OPAC for the intrant result list.
Also adds the system preference DisplayIconsXSLT as an intranet analogue
for the OPAC system preference DisplayOPACiconsXSLT and corrects the
descriptions of both preferences in the syspref editor.

This patch adds the Koha::Indexer::RecordNormalizer and
Koha::Indexer::MARC::RecordNormalizer::EmbedSeeFromHeadings packages
to enable the inclusion of alternate forms of headings in bibliographic
searches. When the new syspref IncludeSeeFromInSearches is turned on
(default is off) rebuild_zebra.pl will insert see from headings from
authority records into bibliographic records when indexing, so that a
search on an obsolete term will turn up relevant records.
To test:
1) Enable IncludeSeeFromInSearches
2) Add a heading that has an alternate form to a record (for example,
"Cooking" has the alternate form "Cookery," if you have authority
records from LC)
3) Index the zebraqueue (or reindex if you haven't indexed your system
yet)
