01f7542f4b Bug 10097 - Hide framework selection when importing staged authority records
Currently, when importing authority records using the "Manage staged
MARC records" tool, it will show the text "Add new bibliographic records
into this framework:" followed by a drop-down menu of possible frameworks.

Since these are bibliographic frameworks and we're importing authority
records which do not use them, we have no need to show this information.

I'm proposing just a little patch to display this info only for
bibliographic records. From my tests, everything seems to work fine
without this text and the drop-down, although I've only uploaded one
MARC21 authority record at a time.

--

Test Plan:

Before applying patch...

1) Find yourself an authority record. I recommend downloading your
favourite author from: http://authorities.loc.gov/
2) Stage MARC for import. Choose "Authority" as your record type.
3) Go to "Manage staged records"
4) Underneath the button "Import this batch into the catalog", you
should see the text "Add new bibliographic records into this framework:"
followed by a drop-down of the available frameworks.

Optionally) You can also try this for bibliographic records. You'll find
the same.

After applying the patch...

5) Repeat steps 2 and 3.
6) Underneath the button "Import this batch into the catalog", you
should just see a table listing your MARC record(s).
7) Stage MARC for import. Choose "Bibliographic" as your record type.
8) Go to "Manage staged records".
9) You should find step 4 still to be true (i.e. the "Add new
bibliographic..." text should still be there).

020b8a66bc Bug 9719 - Changing the rows per page on a custom report fails if it has user supplied parameters
If you create an SQL report that includes one or more parameters,
using the 'rows per page' pulldown does not work. Instead, it will
prompt for the parameters again and shows the first page of output.

Test Plan:
1) Create a new report from sql as follows:
SELECT * FROM borrowers WHERE surname LIKE <<Last Name>> AND firstname LIKE <<First Name>>
2) Run this report
3) Change the 'Rows per page' and click 'Update'
4) This should kick you back to the start where the report asks you for your parameters
5) Apply the patch
6) Repeat step 3, this time is should work correctly

559ff89fd6 Bug 9957 - Missing cancel link on subfield editing page
The subfield edit page has an edit bottom at the top of the page. Almost
no other edit screens do this. It would be more consistent to put it at
the bottom. Also missing is a "cancel" link. This patch fixes both
issues.

The patch also adds "Default" to the breadcrumbs when editing a subfield
in the default framework.

To test, apply the patch and edit a subfield: MARC frameworks -> MARC
structure -> Subfields -> Edit. The "Save changes" button should appear
at the bottom of the page alonside a "Cancel" link. Both should work
correctly.

acfbfcb7d9 Bug 9266 - Untranslated strings in tags moderation
There are a couple of English strings in tags moderation JavaScript
which are not properly enclosed in the _() function enabling
translation. As a result, clicking a translated 'Approve' or
'Reject' button in the table of tags would change the button's
neighbor's label to the English string. This patch
corrects it.

To test, apply the patch and regenerate a translation to test with. Go
to Tools -> Tags and find a list of tags to moderate (pending, approved,
or rejected). When you click on an 'Approve' or 'Reject' tag in the
table of tags, the buttons in each Approve/Reject pair should retain
their correct translated label. For instance, looking at approved tags
in French:

[ Approuvé ] [ Rejeter ]

Clicking the "Rejetee" button should change the state to:

[ Approuver ] [ Rejetée ]

Clicking "Approuver" should return the buttons to the first state.

b6518e632d Bug 6709 - marc21_field_006.xml and marc21_field_008.xml can't be translated
This patch changes
1) structure and schema for xml files used in MARC21
006 and 008 value builders.
2) JavaScript functions used to show value builders.

Xml processing is enabled in previous patch

Any translatable string has been moved to an xml element,
those strings that no need translation remains as xml
attributes.

NOTE_1: I do not include as translatable material types
codes, because those values are restricted in schema
definition. But this restriction can be removed.

NOTE_2: Anyone with experience in XML/XSD please
check the new schema definition.

NOTE_3: Anyone with experience in the former and
JavaScript please check xmlControlfield.js

To test:
1) Apply the patch
2) Verify that 006 and 008 value builders show and work
properly
3) Update translation files for your favorite language,
a new set of strings must show up corresponding to
names and descriptions on value builders.

Note: messed up patches, sending again.

When using a translated intranet, tags moderation using checkboxes and a
submit button doesn't work. You get a message "Unknown Operation on x
Term(s)" (translated of course).

This patch corrects by using name="op-[operation]" instead of name="op"
in each submit input.

Test plan :
- Create a new tag on a record
- Go to tags moderation in Tools

- Click on checkbox
- Click on Approve or Reject submit button at the bottom of the table
=> Without patch the tag is still pending

7e293e20de Bug 8264 - local cover images not working in IE8 [ prog ]
[Patch submitted by David Cook]
Edmund, rather than myself, was the author of this patch,
so I'm not entirely sure about his code choices, but...it
looks like IE must process images differently than other
browsers.

It seems to me that the images are not appearing in IE,
because they're being regarded as incomplete or having
0/NULL natural width.

This patch simply introduces a try/catch hack where it
tries to add the image and remove any "no-image" elements
even nwhen the image is considered incomplete/width of
0/NULL. It won't do this if it catches any errors,
although I'm not sure that any errors would be caught
with this set up anyway...

It's certainly not the ideal solution, but it's a solution.

To Test:

Before applying the patch:
1) Use IE and FF/Chrome/other browser to view a record
   with local images attached
2) Note that the local images appear in FF/Chrome/other,
   but not in IE

Apply patch.

After applying the patch:
1) Repeat step 1 from above
2) Note that the local images now appear in all browsers
   as they should.

--

As I mentioned before, this seems like a real suboptimal
solution. Any ideas on why IE might be considering local
images to be incomplete or having 0/NULL natural width?

cdc5e11159 Bug 9659 - Better handling of non-existent authorised value categories used in SQL reports
A user might create a SQL report that relies on non-existent authorised value categories.
Because of a typo, or just because they copy&pasted the report from the Wiki.

Use cases are:

- The user creates a report from SQL
  a) Uses bad authorised values
  b) Clicks 'Save Report'
  c) Koha lists the problematic authorised values
  d) The user decides to
e-1) Save it anyway, it gets saved
e-2) Edit the report, it gets back to where it chose 'Save Report'

- The user edits an already saved report (Update SQL)
  a) Uses bad authorised values
  b) Clicks 'Update SQL'
  c) Koha lists the problematic authorised values
  d) The user decides to
e-1) Save it anyway, it gets saved
e-2) Edit the report, it gets back to where it chose 'Update SQL'

- The user tries to run a saved report that contains bad authorised values, Koha advertises the problem and provides the user with a button 'Edit SQL' to fix things.

To test, just create a report from SQL using invalid authorised values like this (misspelled 'branch'):

SELECT *
FROM itemtypes
WHERE hola=<<Test branch1|branchee>> AND
      hola2=<<Test branch2|brancha>>

Notes:
- I added several comments on the code.
- Fixed an annoying warning of uninitialised variable also (refactored some tiny bits to do it).
- Added the following methods
   -  C4::Reports::Guided::GetReservedAuthorisedValues
   -  C4::Reports::Guided::GetParametersFromSQL
   -  C4::Reports::Guided::IsAuthorisedValueValid
   -  C4::Reports::Guided::ValidateSQLParameters
   -  C4::Koha::IsAuthorisedValueCategory
- Those methods could have been used to refactor this guided reports code as its *a bit messy*. I chose to do it in a new bug of course :-D.
- Fixed some trivial perlcritic -5 errors
- Removed some debugging stuff left by mistake
- Fixed some POD problems
- Optimal SQL-driven IsAuthorisedValueCategory method
- Thanks to Owen and Jared for their patience heh.

28518a033b Bug 9766 - Remove YUI menu on budget planning page in favor of different column-hiding system
The budget planning table previously used a YUI menu as part of a
system for hiding and showing table columns. Instead of trying
to convert that sytem to Bootstrap I have used code from the
batch modification/deletion pages which uses a list of checkboxes
to show and hide table columns. This has the advantage of giving
the user visual feedback of what columns are hidden and of offering the
user an interface which is familiar from other pages.

This patch also moves CSS from a batch-operations-specific
CSS file into the main CSS file. Batch modification templates have been
modified accordingly.

To test, view the budget planning page and choose different
"plan by" options (by month, by library, by item type). Test
the show/hide action on each individual column and using the
"show all" and "hide all" checkboxes.

6910bec116 Bug 10049 [Alternate] Comments tab shows ( ) instead of ( 0 ) on translated templates
This patch is an alternate solution to the problem of "0" not appearing
on the comment tab in translated templates. It uses the Template Toolkit
option of specifying a default value for a variable:

[% reviews.size || 0 %]

This syntax is already in use elsewhere in the template.

Same test plan:

1) Make sure comments/reviews are activated
2) Find a record with 0 comments/reviews in the opac
3) The tab shows: Comments ( 0 )
4) Switch to any other languages.
5) Tab now shows: <translation of Comments> ( )
6) Apply patch
7) Check English templates stil work correctly
8) Rerun 'perl translate install <langcode>
9) Check display is now correct.
10) Also check that number shows correctly for records

Turns out the string to be translated changed from "Comments ( %s%s%s%s )"

the nb-NO translation, fix the number of %s's in the Norwegian string,
make sure it was not marked as fuzzy and then install nb-NO. And it

3ce75bcf26 Bug 9860 [Alternate] Incorrect box heading 'Cannot check in' when a late document is returned
The fix for Bug 9397 moved the "cannot check in" heading from within the
one conditional where it should have been displayed to the top of all
check-in errors/messages. "Cannot check in" is still only valid if the
item is withdrawn and BlockReturnOfWithdrawnItems is ON.

In order to accomplish the goal of Bug 9397 while fixing Bug 9860 this
patch puts "cannot check in" back into the correct conditional and adds
a generic heading to check in messages for accessibility purposes.

To test, check in items which will trigger a variety of errors
including:

- item must be returned to home library
- item is lost
- item is withdrawn (wtih BlockReturnOfWithdrawnItems on and off)
- item is overdue

...as well as items which should check in normally. Messages should

2e47475664 Bug 9737 - Local Covers sometimes appear then disappear on OPAC Search Results/Lists
The current problem:

When the verify_images() function runs from amazonimages.js, it loops
through every img element and selects the elements that come from Amazon
sources.

However, if the height/width is 1 (i.e. Amazon passes off a blank image)
or if the img element's complete property is null or non-existent, then
it searches for the parent node and re-writes the HTML with the "No
Cover Image Available" (NO_AMAZON_IMAGE) text, even though that parent
node might contain other img elements that have images available (from
Google, local images, etc)!

Proposed fix:

Wrap the Amazon image in a span tag (as we do with the Google and local
covers), so that it re-writes the HTML within that parent span, rather
than the parent anchor which contains all the other images.

To test:

1) Turn on the OPACAmazonCoverImages, GoogleJackets, and
   OPACLocalCoverImages system preferences
2) Replace the ISBN in one of your records with 9780615352435
3) Now load a local cover image for that record
4) Search for that record (but make sure you're vague enough to have
   multiple search results)
5) For a split second, you may notice the local cover image appears before being replaced by a "No Cover Image Available".

Now apply this patch

6) Refresh your search results page
7) You should now see your local cover image, PLUS the "No Cover Image
Available" for the Amazon image, and whatever other graphics/"no
cover image available" "graphics" for the Google Jackets.

To be comprehensive, try the same set of steps using the OPAC Lists
rather than the OPAC Search Results

0a91a071ef Bug 9894 - Followup: Add support for "flagged" values
Even though we don't know what they mean or do.

To test:
- open the docs to have at hand the list of codes/visibility options combinations and
try changing several subfields from a single tagfield. Save, and reopen the "Edit subfields" page.
- Click the "Flagged" checkbox - it should disable the other checkboxes as this setting is (apparently) exclusive to the others.
- Step through several tabs and set your visibilities as you like.
- I had a MySQL shell opened to repeatedly run this query (i tested against field 886
  on the default framework):
>  SELECT tagfield,tagsubfield,hidden FROM marc_subfield_structure WHERE frameworkcode='' AND tagfield=886;
- Compare what was saved on the DB with the docs for that visibility selection.

557857cf2c Bug 9894 - (3.12) de-serialize the 'hidden' value for subfields in frameworks
This patch aims to provide a non-intrusive way (with respect to Koha's code, so
it could have got into 3.12) for the users to easily choose the visibility settings
for each subfield.

This patch is also known to have arrived late for 3.12. I've been struggling with
other stuff at work, but I just wanted to put this somewhere just in case it can
be reused or something else.

The patch adds two JavaScript functions that deal with (de)serialization of the 'hidden'
value for subfields. One each way. Listeners are added to the checkboxes so the (actually, heh)
'hidden' value gets correctly updated on each checkbox change.

There's a costly function to update all checkboxes on every tab to match the 'hidden' value on page load.

To test:
- open the docs to have at hand the list of codes/visibility options combinations and
try changing several subfields from a single tagfield. Save, and reopen the "Edit subfields" page.
- I had a MySQL shell opened to repeatedly run this query (i tested against field 886
  on the default framework):
>  SELECT tagfield,tagsubfield,hidden FROM marc_subfield_structure WHERE frameworkcode='' AND tagfield=886;
- Compare what was saved on the DB with the docs for that visibility selection.

9c3137bbf4 Bug 9463 [Revised] Use DataTables on patron sent notices page
Replace the tablesorter plugin with the DataTables plugin on the
patron sent notices page.

This patch adds default sorting by time (descending).

This patch depends on the one for Bug 9887, which introduces a new
DataTables plugin to allow sorting on data embedded in a <span>'s
"title" attribute. This allows sorting to be done on an unformatted
datetime.

To test, open the sent notices page for a patron who has multiple sent
notices. Confirm that table sorting works correctly with various date
format settings.

Revision corrects an error which occurs when there are no notices:
Instead of displaying an empty table with a message the table is not
displayed and a standard dialog message is displayed. In order to
prevent page-specific CSS and JS from conflicting with the standard
"message" class the page-specific classes have been changed from
"message*" to "notice*" Test this change by viewing a page with existing
notices and clicking the titles to show/hide the notice contents.

2c2dfd91e7 Bug 9905 - Use DataTables on calendar page
The calendar management page uses the old tablesorter plugin. This patch
replaces tablesorter code with DataTables.

In order to easily sort date columns under various dateformat system
preference settings, date columns now sort based on an unformatted date
in a <span>'s title attribute (requiring the patch for Bug 9887).

To test, view the calendar page--preferably with plenty of existing
holiday data to populate the holiday summary tables. Confirm that
sorting works correctly on all sorted tables with the dateformat
preference set in all settings.

ec9fc2fce4 Bug 9887 [Revised] Use DataTables on circulation page
The circulation page, when the UseTablesortForCirc preference is
enabled, uses the old tablesorter plugin. It should use DataTables
instead.

This patch removes references to the tablesorter plugin and makes these
changes to enable use of DataTables:

- Pass two new unformatted date variables to the template from
circulation.pl so that sorting can be performed on this data.
- Add DataTables configurations for the table of checkouts and the
  table of relatives' checkouts.
- Add a new plugin to the main DataTables configuration script to allow
sorting on data embedded in a <span>'s 'title' attribute.
- Add <span>s to each table with a title attribute containing the
unformatted date data which DataTables needs to perform correct
sorting. This eliminates the need for a special sorting algorithm to
accomodate various date and datetime formatting options.
- Set a template variable for checking whether circ exports are enabled.
This reduces repetition. DataTables configuration changes based on how
  many columns are present.

To test, load the circulation page for patrons who match various
conditions:

- Having only checkouts from today
- Having checkouts from today and previous days
- Having checkouts only from previous days
- Having relatives who have checkouts (from today, from previous days,
  from both)

Test these situations with UseTablesortForCirc enabled and disabled.
Test these situations with circ exports enabled or disabled (with
ExportRemoveFields filled or empty, for instance).

Sorting should work correctly on all columns with the dateformat
preference set to any option.

All other circulation functions should work normally.

Revision adds missing include for table footer when there are previous
checkouts and removes &nbsp; from empty table header cells which were
messing up auto-detection of numeric data. The global CSS for table
borders has been tightened up to improve handling of alternating row
colors in DataTables-sorted tables.

0ef11f893f Bug 9572 - Opac info tooltip from branches is not well positioned
This patch removes the jQuery plugin previously used to display the
library information tooltip on opac-detail.pl and implements the
functionality using jQueryUI's tooltip widget. jQueryUI has been
upgraded to 1.9.2 in the process, which required some ammendments to
jQueryUI-related CSS.

To test, make sure at least one of your libraries has "OPAC info" stored
as part of its configuration. View a record in the OPAC which is owned
by that library. Hover over the library's name in the holdings table and
you should see a properly-positioned tooltip showing the "OPAC info."

Also test other jQueryUI-related functionality to confirm that the
upgrade didn't break anything: Tabs and datepickers should still work
correctly.

b5497a5f46 Bug 9571 - Fix width for textareas in Edit Item screen
This patch adds a style for textareas on the Edit Item screen of addbiblio.pl so that they are roughly the same length as the other input elements around it on the page.

To test:

Before applying patch...

1) Create a new item for any biblio with a URL (subfield u) of over 100 characters (you can use www.lettercount.com to count the number of characters in your URL).
2) In any browser (I've already looked at IE, Firefox, and Chrome on Windows), edit the item (either by clicking "Edit Items" from the Normal view of the bib record then clicking "Edit" next to the applicable item, or clicking on the "Items" view in the bib record and clicking "Edit item" next to the relevant item).
3) Notice that the textarea for the url is absolutely tiny. Difficult to read and difficult to interact with.

Apply patch.

1) Notice that the textarea is roughly the same size as the other input elements on the page.

Currently, if you have nested strong and em tags in the opac, you will only get the properties of the inner tag. This seems to be due to reset-fonts-grids.css resetting the font weight and style (for both strong and em) to normal.

c061790f97 Bug 9783 - can hit submit twice when adding patrons
Currently, clicking twice or more on the Save button will generate
duplicate patrons when adding patrons in the Patron module. Of course,
there is handling that detects this, so you can choose to either edit
the original record (i.e. throw away the duplicate) or create a
duplicate record.

However, it shouldn't get to that point by clicking on the Save button.
That handling seems to be there to handle cases where you go through the
whole process of trying to add a new patron only to find out that they
already exist in the system (or at least their username/password do).

--

This patch uses the "preventDoubleFormSubmit" function (which is also
used in holds and fines to prevent double form submits). It was also
necessary to edit members.js, since "check_form_borrowers" was forcing
form submits despite the "preventDoubleFormSubmit" function. I've
changed it from forcing a document.form.submit to return true, which the
browser will still submit the form if it's a unique borrower, but the
"preventDoubleFormSubmit" function will still prevent multiple submits.

I've also added a "waiting" class to staff-global.js which changes the
cursor to "wait" (i.e. loading circle graphic). I've included an
"AddClass" call in "preventDoubleFormSubmit", so that the cursor graphic
will change to show users that the page is loading so that they don't
click Save again. Of course, even if they do click save again, there
will only be one submit. However, this way - as Chris Cormack mentioned
- the user knows that "something" is happening and that the form isn't
broken.

-------
Test Plan

Before applying patch...

1) Fill out the form for a new patron in the Patron module
2) Click "Save" several times
3) Once the page loads, you'll be shown a prompt that says that this
borrower already exists. You will have the option to view the
original record, edit the original record, or create a new patron
   anyway
4) Click on edit the existing record, and delete the patron

Apply the patch

5) Repeat steps 1 and 2
6) Notice that your cursor has changed into a little "loading" circle
graphic when you hover over the "body" of the page, as well as any
links or any inputs/buttons of the type "submit" within that form
7) Notice that no matter how many times you press the button, the form
is not re-submitted. Eventually you will be taken to the new patron's
record (no mention of duplication will occur)

Ta da! Multiple form submits are prevented and the loading graphic
signals to users that the form was submitted and that Koha is processing
their data

--

I understand that some people might want to change which elements are
given the "waiting" class. I'm happy to renegotiate this as necessary.

c28f7d7de5 Bug 6209 [Revised] Standardize on one plugin for client-side form validation
This patch adds the jQuery "Validation" plugin
(http://docs.jquery.com/Plugins/Validation) and includes it by
default in the staff client along with an include file containing
translatable strings for all of the plugin's possible messages.

The staff client's main JavaScript file has been modified to perform
automatic validation of any form with the class "validated."

For a simple example I have modified the library entry form
to mark required fields as required (something which had not
been done before). Each required field has been given a class,
"required" and the HTML5 attribute "required." The former adds
the hook for the plugin, the latter adds browser-based validation
in recent browsers (and which will be superceded by the plugin
if JavaScript is enabled).

This will check for inputs classed "required" without any
additional configuration. More complex forms (with specific
data types, for instance) will require more inline JavaScript
configuration.

$("#FormID").validate({ /* configuration details */ });

Also added to the library entry form are checks on the email and URL
fields via classes ("email" and "url", respectively). This demonstrates
validation of content without forcing the field to be required.

To test, go to Administration -> Libraries and Groups and choose
"New library." Submit the form without entering a library code
or name. You should be prevented from submitting the form and be
shown an error message by each field. Perform the same check with an
existing entry.

To test browser-based validation, disable JavaScript and follow
the same procedure.

Revision rebases the patch against current master and adds missing

4def1cb4eb Bug 7740 - Highlight items in own library in search results/detail page in OPAC
This feature enables a particular library's items to be emphasized and moved
to the first position on the search results and details pages of the OPAC.

It is enabled by the sytem preference HighlightOwnItemsOnOPAC.

To choose which branches items are emphasized, use the system preference
HighlightOwnItemsOnOPACWhich. It has two modes.

If set to PatronBranch, the items emphasized will be those of the same
library as the patron's library. If no one is logged into the opac, no
items will be highlighted.

If set to OpacURLBranch, the library is chosen based on the Apache
environment variable BRANCHCODE.

For example, this could be added to the OPAC section of koha-httpd.conf:
SetEnv BRANCHCODE "CPL"

The point of this feature is to allow each library on a given Koha server
to have a specific subdomain for the opac where that library's items are
empasized. That was http://branch1.opac.mylibrary.org will emphasize the
items of branch1, while http://branch2.opac.mylibrary.org will emphasize
the items of branch2.

dc9ff3c53d Bug 7688: Change subscription numbering pattern and frequencies
Serials numbering pattern and frequencies are no more hard-coded. Now
it's possible to create, edit and delete numbering patterns (and
frequencies). This implies new sql tables (subscription_numberpatterns
and subscription_frequencies)

Numbering patterns behave almost as before, there are still the same
values to configure (addX, everyX, settoX, whenmorethanX). lastvalueX
and innerloopX remain in subscription tables.

There is a new value in numbering patterns: numberingX. For each
"column" (X, Y or Z) you can tell how to format the number. Actually
numberingX can be set to:
 - 'dayname' (name of the day) (0-6 or 1-7 depending on which day is the
   first of the week)
 - 'monthname' (name of the month) (0-11)
 - 'season' (name of the season) (0-3) (0 is Spring)

These names are localized by using POSIX::setlocale and POSIX::strftime
and setting a 'locale' value to the subscription. Locale have to be
installed on the system.
Note that season names are not localized using POSIX::strftime (it can't
do this), so names are hardcoded into the code (available languages: en,
fr). This could be fixed in the future by using a Perl localization
framework.

Frequencies can be configured using 3 parameters:
 - 'unit': one of 'day', 'week', 'month', 'year'
 - 'issuesperunit': integer >= 1, the number of received issues per
   'unit'
 - 'unitsperissue': integer >= 1, the number of 'unit' between two
   issues
One of 'issuesperunit' and 'unitsperissue' must be equal to 1.
Examples:
  unit = 'day', issuesperunit=3, unitsperissue=1 => 3 issues per day
  unit = 'week', issuesperunit=1, unitsperissue=3 => 1 issue each 3
  weeks

Prediction pattern is now computed server-side and is more consistent
with what Koha will do. The publication date is displayed alongside the
serial number.
Irregularities can now be checked one by one, in the prediction pattern
table, or if frequency is 'day-based' (unit is 'day'), there is the
possibility to check all issues for a week day at once.

When an irregularity is found, there is the possibility to keep the
serial number unchanged, or to skip it. It is configured at subscription
creation or modification.
For instance, with a daily subscription you can have:
skip serial number | keep serial number
----------------------+----------------------
 2012-01-01 ¦ No 1 | 2012-01-01 ¦ No 1
 2012-01-03 ¦ No 3 | 2012-01-03 ¦ No 2

To lighten the subscription modification page, manual history has been
moved in its own page subscription-history.pl which is accessible on
subscription-detail.pl, tab 'Planning'.

Important note: updatedatabase.pl script takes into account existing
subscriptions and create appropriate numbering patterns for them (it
tries to create as few patterns as possible). Frequency is
mapped to the correct entry in subscription_frequencies table.

This patch includes kohastructure.sql and updatedatabase.pl changes
+ sample frequencies data and sample numberpatterns data for fresh
installs (sample data is included in updatedatabase.pl)

=== TEST PLAN: ===

Create a new subscription:

  - Go to Serials module and click "New subscription" button
  - On the first page, choose a biblio and click next to go to the
    second page
  - Pick a first issue publication date
  - Choose frequency '1/day'
  - Choose a subscription length of 15 issues
  - Choose a subscription start date
  - Choose numbering pattern 'Volume, Number'
  - A table appears, fill 'Begins with' cells with '1'
  - Click on 'Test prediction pattern' button

The prediction pattern is displayed at the right of the page. You can
see in it the serial number, the publication date and a checkbox to
allow you to choose which serials will not be received (irregularities).

You can see that serial number start from "Vol 1, No 1" continue to "Vol
1, No 12" and then restart with "Vol 2, No 1".

Frequency is '1/day' so you can see that publication date is incremented
by one day line after line.

  - Now you can play a little with frequencies and numbering patterns,
change one of them (or both) and click again on 'Test prediction
    pattern'
  - For example, choose frequency '3/weeks' and click on 'Test
    prediction pattern' button'.

There is a little behaviour change compared with current master.
Publication date will not be guessed within the week. Koha can't know
when you will receive issues. So the publication date stay the same
(monday of each week) for 3 consecutive issues and then jump to the next
week.

  - Now choose frequency '1/3 months' and numbering pattern 'Seasonal'
  - Fill 'Begins with' cells with '2012' for Year and '0' for Season
  - Click on 'Test prediction pattern'
  - You should have something like 'Spring 2012', 'Summer 2012', ...,
    'Winter 2012', 'Spring 2013'
  - Note that you can have seasons for south hemisphere by entering '2'
    in 'Year/Inner counter'
  - 2nd note: if you have some locales installed on your system, you can
type its name in the 'Locale' field (actually it does not work for
seasons name, only for month names and day names)

If you want to modify the numbering pattern you can still do it here:

 - Click on 'Show/Hide advanced pattern' link. The advanced pattern
table is shown but all fields are readonly
 - Click on 'Modify pattern' button. All readonly fields are now
editable. Note that 'Begins with' and 'Inner counter' line are
repeated here and any modifications in the small table will be
replicated in the big table, and vice versa.
 - Pattern name is emptied, if you type a new name, a new pattern will
be created, and if you type the same name as an existing numbering
pattern, this one will be modified (with a confirmation message)
 - There is two new lines in this table:
   - Label: it's what is displayed in the smaller table headers above
   - Numbering: used to format numbers in different ways. can be
'seasons', 'monthname' or 'dayname'. Month name and day name can be
localized using the 'Locale' field. Seasons can't (values for
english and french are hard-coded in Serials.pm)
 - You can modify what you want in the table and click on 'Test
prediction pattern' button each time you want to see your
modifications. (Note that checkboxes for irregularities aren't displayed
in this mode, and you can't save the subscription until you have saved
   or cancelled your changes).
 - To cancel your modifications, just click on 'Cancel modifications'
   button.
 - To save them, click on 'Save as new pattern'. If the pattern name is
already existing, a confirmation box will ask you if you want to
modify the existing numbering pattern. Otherwise a new pattern will be
   created and automatically selected.

Once you have finished modifying numbering pattern. You can click again
on 'Test prediction pattern' to define irregularities, and then click on
'Save subscription'.

Now you can check the serials module still works correctly:

 - Check the subscription detail page to confirm that nothing is
missing. Especially the 'Frequency' and 'Number pattern' infos
 - Try to receive some issues. Check that the serial number is correctly
generated and if irregularities you have defined are taken into
account (if you have defined some).
 - Check that receiving is blocked once you have reached the number of
issues you have defined in subscription length (or once you have
   reached the subscription end date)

In serials menu (to the left of almost each page of serials menu) you
have two new links: 'Manage frequencies' and 'Manage numbering
patterns'.

'Manage numbering patterns' lead to a page which list all numbering
patterns and allow you to create, edit or delete them. The interface is
almost the same as numbering pattern modification in subscription-add.pl

'Manage frequencies' lead to a page which list all frequencies and allow
you to create, edit or delete them.

Try to create a new frequency:
 - Click on 'Manage frequencies' link in the serials menu and then click
   on 'New frequency':
 - Fill in the description (mandatory).
 - Unit is one of 'day', 'week', 'month', year' or 'None' ('None' is for
   an irregular subscription)
 - If unit is different from 'None' you have to fill the two following
fields (Issues per unit, and Units per issue)
 - Note that at least one of those must be equal to 1
 - Issues per unit is the number of received issues by 'unit' and Units
per issue is the number of 'unit' between two issues
 - Display order is used to build the drop-down list. Leave empty and it
will be set to 0 (top of the list)
 - Then click on 'Save'
 - Check that this new frequency appears in the frequencies table and in
   the drop-down list in subscription-add.pl

Subscription history has been moved in its own page. To test if it still
works, choose a subscription with manual history enabled (or modify an
existing subscription to turn on manual history).

8ad00bc02f Bug 8365: Add a renewal duration in the issuing rules
Renew an issue for a number of days (filled in the issuing rules).

Test if rules work for any i[item]types and if there is no regression.

- new column issuingrules.renewalperiod
- remove all occurrences of an already removed syspref (globalDueDate)
- remove an unused routine (Overdues::GetIssuingRules)

How it works:
- On existing installations, the issuingrules.renewalperiod =
issuingrules.loanlength. So the behaviour is the same before and after
  this patch.
- when you add a rule, you can choose a renewal period (the unit value
is the issuingrules.unit). So you can have a renewal period in hours
  or days.
- The default value for the renewal period is 21 days (same as
  loanlength)

The primary advantage to the Firefox offline cirulation plugin when compared

3dae345428 Bug 9771 [Revised] Replace YUI buttons on acquisitions basket groups page with Bootstrap
The acquisitions basket group page has a toolbar with YUI-generated
buttons and menus. It should use Bootstrap instead.

This patch removes the YUI menu buttons altogether, replacing that
functionality with the sidebar menu now included on other acquisitions
pages (See Bug 8913). The "New basket group" button is now styled by
Bootstrap.

Other minor changes: Corrections of invalid markup, improvement to
breadcrumbs.

To test, view the basket group page and confirm that the toolbar button
looks correct and works correctly. Confirm that navigation works and
that functionality of the basket group edit page is not affected.

Revision adds an explicit width to the basket-grouping form columns

5eabc672fd Bug 7804 - Add Koha Plugin System
Adds support for custom plugins. At the moment the Plugins
feature supports two types of plugins, reports and tools.

Plugins are installed by uploading KPZ ( Koha Plugin Zip )
packages. A KPZ file is just a zip file containing the
perl files, template files, and any other files neccessary
to make the plugin work.

Test plan:
1) Apply patch
2) Run updatedatabase.pl
3) Create the directory /var/lib/koha/plugins
4) Add the lines
      <pluginsdir>/var/lib/koha/plugins</pluginsdir>

3f7dd2730a Bug 9213 - Implement analytics for NORMARC XSLT
Problem:
Links between anaytics records were not being displayed for NORMARC setups.

What this patch does:
1. Add indexing for 773 subfield a, w and 9; both for GRS-1 and DOM indexing
(The DOM indexing config was generated from the GRS-1 record.abs)
2. Add "analytics links" to NORMARC XSLT files, both for OPAC and intranet

To test:
- Make sure you have a NORMARC installation
- Set UseControlNumber = Use
- Create a parent record with LDR/07=c. Leave 001 empty.
- In the "Normal" view, do New > New child record and create another record. Do
this twice (so you get a list of hits when you click on the "Show anaytics"
  links later on).

- Do the following steps both in the OPAC and the Intranet:
  - Search for the parent record in such a way that you can see the record in a
    *result list*
  - Check that the "Show analytics" link is displayed, and uses the title of the
parent record for linking: ?q=Host-item:<Title of parent record>
  - Clik on the "Show analytics" link and check that you get a result list with
the two child records you created earlier
  - Go back to the result list and click on the parent record, so you get the
    *detail view*
  - Check that the "Show analytics" link is displayed, and uses the title of the
parent record for linking: ?q=Host-item:<Title of parent record>
  - Clik on the "Show analytics" link and check that you get a result list with
the two child records you created earlier
  - Search for one or both of the child records in such a way that you can see
the record(s) in a *result list*
  - Check that the "In: <Title of parent record>" link is displayed, and that it
uses the biblionumber of the parent record for linking:
    ?q=Control-number:<biblionumber of parent record>
  - Click on the "In: <Title of parent record>" link, and check that the parent
    record is displayed
  - Go back to the result list and click on the child record, so you get the
    *detail view*
  - Check that the "In: <Title of parent record>" link is displayed, and that it
uses the biblionumber of the parent record for linking:
    ?q=Control-number:<biblionumber of parent record>
  - Click on the "In: <Title of parent record>" link, and check that the parent
    record is displayed

- Now edit the parent record and put it's biblionumber in 001. Repeat the steps
above, and check that everything still works, but that the links are different:
  - The "Show analytics" link on the parent record should look like this:
    ?q=rcn:<biblionumber of parent record>+and+(bib-level:a+or+bib-level:b)
  - The "In: <Title of parent record>" link on the child records should be the
    same as it was earlier

- Now set UseControlNumber = "Don't use" and repeat all of the steps above
  - All of the links should still be displayed and work, of course
  - The "In: <Title of parent record>" link on the child records should look
like this: ?q=ti,phr:<Title of parent record>
  - The "Show analytics" link on the parent record should look like this:
    ?q=Host-item:<Title of parent record>

- Change LDR/07 to "s" and repeat all of the steps above
- Do all of this both for GRS-1 indexing and for DOM indexing...

b086fcab9a Bug 9239: Add syspref to enable QueryParser
In light of the experimental nature of the QueryParser code at this
juncture, it behooves Koha to have the option of disabling QP, at least
for the purpose of comparing results between QP-enabled and QP-disabled
searches. This patch adds a UseQueryParser syspref to do just that. In
cases where the user enables QP without having QP installed, however,
there will be no dramatic failure, and Koha will simply fall back to
using the non-QP search code.

In order to reduce the overhead added by the introduction of QueryParser,
this patch adds a C4::Context->queryparser accessor to a static
QueryParser object which is initialized the first time it is required
and then reset thereafter.

8b7c8cdecb Bug 9690 - Replace YUI buttons on the catalog search results page with Bootstrap
"Save," "Place hold," and "Z39.50 search" buttons on the catalog search
results page are generated by YUI.

This patch removes YUI styling from the "Save" button and uses Bootstrap
to apply styling to the "Place hold" and "Z39.50 search" button.
The "search to hold" split button menu is converted to Bootstrap as well.

The "Save" button's appearance is inconsistent with the Bootstrap ones,
but right now we don't have a good method for overriding the default
submit button CSS with Bootstrap button styling. I hope this can be
dealt with in a more global way in a subsequent patch.

To test, search the catalog in the staff client. Confirm that the

baf95b1340 Bug 9431 [Revised] Use DataTables on Patron Category Administration page
Replace the tablesorter plugin with the DataTables plugin on the
patron category administration page. Structural changes were made to the
table markup for validity and to deal with a DataTables bug which
prevents it from properly parsing a <th> with a colspan.

To test, open the Patron Category Administration page (Administration ->
Patron types and categories). Confirm that table sorting works
correctly.

Revision adds a "natural sort" plugin to the main datatables
configuration JavaScript file to enable sorting of columns like those in
this table which include mixed numeric and text data. Allows correct
numeric sorting of data like "0 years, 1 years, 2 years, 18 years," etc.

43c875b683 Bug 5079 - Make display of shelving location and call number in XSLT results controlled by sysprefs
* Don't show the Location line if there are no copies available, since it
  will inevitably be blank

* Also, don't show locations for Checked Out, Lost, Damaged, Withdrawn,
On Hold or In transit items; it doesn't really make sense, since the
items aren't actually there, and it results in repetitive listing of
  the shelving location

* Added system preference to display shelving location of an item on opac
results. The system preference is called OpacItemLocation. I also moved
the call number to a new line called Location along with the shelving
  location if it is enabled.

To Test:
  1) Run database update script to add syspref.
  2) Set OpacItemLocation to show locations or collection codes on the
     opac-search page.

If it is working you should see the shelving location of the item
before the call number. Multiple home branch shelving locations
  are seperated by a pipe character ( i.e. '|' ).

This patch converts the buttons on the MARC editor page to Bootstrap,
replacing YUI button and menu code with Bootstrap markup.

Various workflows must be tested to confirm that functionality
remains unchanged:

- Edit existing record. Clicking the "save" button should redirect
you to the default "view" page for that record.
- Create a new record. Clicking the "save" button should redirect you to
  the add/edit items screen.
- When creating or editing a record, test the dropdown menu attached to
the "save" button. Each function should work correctly.
- Test using a user who does not have "edit items" permission. There
should be no menu attached to the "save" button.
- Test using fast cataloging through circulation. A single save button
  should appear, redirecting to items.

In all cases validation should proceed before saving. Leave a required
field empty to test.
