When writing off an individual fine, the description shown
was the patron's title, instead of the fine description.
Fixing it by changing it to the same template variable used for
paying individuals so they match up.
To test:
- Pick a patron and make sure salutation is set (Mr, Mrs, ...)
- Create a manual fine
- For the fine, compare the description shown when using the Writeoff
and Pay buttons next to the fine
- Verify the display is different and writeoff displays the salutation
- Apply patch
- Repeat, descriptions now should match up

GET request redirects were causing the http URL to 'pass' our 'good url'
test for http => https redirected mana servers. However, on the
subsquent POST request to get a mana security token we would fail as the
POST was not transparently redirected.
This patch changes the request to be a simple_request so we will catch
bad urls earlier and it also prevents submissions for security tokens if
the configured URL is identified as bad.

This patch modifies two pages so that the "Uncertain price" information
is shown by the template rather than the Perl script, making the text
translatable.
To test, apply the patch and go to Acquisitions.
- Locate or create an order in a basket which has an uncertain price.
- When viewing the contents of that basket the order which was marked
as having an uncertain price should be labeled "Uncertain."
- The same should be true for the invoice page. If you don't have an
existing invoice with an "uncertain" order,
- Go to "Receive shipments" for the vendor your "uncertain" order is
with.
- Create a new invoice.
- Receive one or more orders which has an uncertain price.
- Press the "finish receiving" button.
- In the "Invoice details" section of the invoice page you should
see the "Uncertain" label on the correct order.

This patch updates the TinyMCE editor to the latest version (5.0.16) and
adds a translatable include file which will allow the TinyMCE interface
to show the same translation as Koha.
The configuration of the editor has been updated according to the new
version's requirements, keeping all the tools available we had before
and adding emoji support.
To test, apply the patch and enable the UseWYSIWYGinSystemPreferences
system preference.
TESTING THE UPGRADED EDITOR
- Go to Administration -> System preferences -> OPAC.
- Multiple instances of the TinyMCE editor should appear on the page:
opaccredits, OpacCustomSearch, OpacLoginInstructions, etc.
- Test adding and editing content to one or more of these editors.
Confirm that the various editor tools work correctly.
- Verify that changing the contents of any editor (including via paste)
enables the corresponding "Save all X preferences" button.
- Test the news editor under Tools -> News.
- Test the library "OPAC info" editor in libraries administration:
Administration -> Libraries -> Edit library -> OPAC info.
TESTING TRANSLATABILITY
- Update a translation:
> cd misc/translator
> perl translate update fr-FR
- Open the corresponding .po file for the staff client, e.g.
misc/translator/po/fr-FR-staff-prog.po
- Locate strings pulled from includes/str/tinymce_i18n.inc for
translation, e.g.:
#. SCRIPT
#: intranet-tmpl/prog/en/includes/str/tinymce_i18n.inc:1
#, fuzzy
msgid "File"
msgstr "Fichier :"
- Edit the "msgstr" string however you want (it's just for testing) and
remove the "fuzzy" line.
- Install the updated translation:
> perl translate install fr-FR
- Go to Administration -> System preferences -> OPAC.
- In each instance of the TinyMCE editor, the first menu item should
have as its label the translation "msgstr" string you edited.
- Check that the "About" page shows updated information about
the TinyMCE version, 5.0.16.

Bug 22203 changed the behavior on the hold-found2 modal
that pops up when a hold is found so that whether or not
the patron's name is displayed is now governed by the
HidePatronName system preference.
However, if a hold is confirmed and you check the item
in a second time, the modal that pops up is hold-found1
and whether or not the patron's name is displayed in
the hold-found1 modal is not governed by the HidePatronName
system preference.
For the sake of consistency, the display of the patron's
name on hold-found2 and hold-found1 should both be governed
by the HidePatronName system preference.
To test:
- Place a hold on an item
- Check in the item to trigger the hold modal
- Confirm hold
- Check the item in again - verify name of patron displays
- Apply patch
- Repeat
- Verify name display now matches between the two modals
- change HidePatronName pref
- Repeat
- Name display should still match

This adds a "Claims returned" feature that extends and enhances the claims returned lost status.
To use this feature, a new LOST status to represent an item claimed as returned needs to be created.
The value of this LOST authorised value should be set in the new syspref ClaimReturnedLostValue.
Setting this system preference turns on the feature.
Once the feature is enabled, you should be able to mark checked out items as return claims from the
checkout and patron details pages, and also modify them from the new claims tab on those pages.
Returning a claimed item will notify the librarian that the item in question has a claim on it.
Setting the ClaimReturnedWarningThreshold will add an alert to make librarians aware that this
patron has many return claims on the patron's record.
Test Plan:
1) Create a "Claims Returned" lost value
2) Create some RETURN_CLAIM_RESOLUTION authorized values
3) Set ClaimReturnedLostValue
4) Set ClaimReturnedChargeFee
5) Set ClaimReturnedWarningThreshold
6) Create some checkouts
7) Claim some returns
8) Verify ClaimReturnedChargeFee works with all 3 options
9) Verify ClaimReturnedWarningThreshold shows a warning once the threshold has been exceeded
10) Edit notes on a claim
11) Resolve a claim
12) Delete a claim

The main point of this patch is to make it possible to integrate Koha
with the Norwegian national patron database (NNPDB). Code for this was
earlier introduced in Bug 11401 and removed again in Bug 21068.
To test this is mainly a question of spotting regressions, it should
still be possible to set and change a password in all possible ways:
- Setting a password for a new user
- Changing a password in the staff client
- Changing a password in the OPAC
If these work as expected, everything should be OK.
A nice side effect of this work is that it will allow for plugins that
validate passwords. I have created a tiny plugin that enforces PIN
codes of 4 digits. (Yeah, I know, those are the worst passwords, but
some libraries do require them.) It is published here:
https://github.com/Libriotech/koha-plugin-pin
To test this way, install the plugin and try to change the password
of an exsisting user to something that is not a 4 digit PIN. You
should get an error that says "The password was rejected by a plugin".

Updated 2019-10-23:
- Moved the plugin checks to before the call to $self->SUPER::store to
make sure patrons are not saved if the password fails a plugin check
- Made the plugin checks in set_password respect skip_validation while
retaining the functionality for NNPDB

This patch modifies JavaScript used in circulation, replacing an
untranslatable English string in the script with a variable defined in
strings.inc which can be translated.
To test you should have the AllowCheckoutNotes system preference
enabled.
- Apply the patch and log in to the OPAC as a user who has two or more
items checked out.
- From the list of checkouts on the "Your summary" page, add a note to
two or more checked-out items.
- Log in to the staff client and open the checkout page for that user.
- In the table of checkouts, check the "Check in" checkbox next to
one of the titles you added a note to.
- Click "Renew or check in selected items."
- A message should appear in that table row showing your note,
prefixed with the text "Patron note:"
To test translation, update and install the de-DE template:
> cd misc/translator
> perl translate update de-DE
> perl translate install de-DE
- Go to Administration -> System preferences and enable the "Deutsch
(de-DE)" language under I18N/L10N preferences -> language.
- Switch to the "Deutsch" translation.
- Go to Ausleihe (Circulation) and check out to the same patron.
- In the table of checkouts, check the checkbox in the "Rückgabe"
column next to another title you added a note to.
- Click the "Markierte Exemplare zurückgeben oder verlängern" button.
- A message should appear in that table row showing your note
prefixed with the text "Benutzernotizen:"

Whilst working on something else, it came to light that the previous fix
in bug 23229 was waaaaay too heavy handed and basically kills all ILL
related JS :( This is obviously a big problem, this patch fixes that.
The main problem is that all the ILL related JS is in a single file,
which isn't ideal as bits of it are used on different pages. Ideally,
we'd refactor it out into more manageable chunks which can be included
as required. Until such a time, this patch will do, it just prevents the
"get all requests" AJAX request unless you're on the ILL list page.

This patch set adds a new method to display cover images for
bibliographic records.
The idea is to provide a flexible way allowing several use cases:
- local path
- remote url
- webservice
which would follow a given pattern.
So far only the following patterns are available:
- {isbn} will be replaced byt the isbn of the record
- {issn}
- using MARC subfields:
{024$a} to replace with the value in 024$a
(Note that the selector has been changed from %% to {} in a coming
patch)
For example
- /your/local/images/{isbn}.png
- https://covers.openlibrary.org/b/isbn/{isbn}-M.jpb
- etc.
There are 3 new sysprefs:
CustomCoverImagesURL
=> Define the path/url
CustomCoverImages
=> Turn on/off the display of the custom cover image in the staff client
OPACCustomCoverImages
=> Turn on/off the display of the custom cover image at the OPAC

This patch updates the SocialNetworks system preference so that it
offers a choice of social networks (and email) which can be enabled in
the OPAC.
This patch also replaces the social network images with Font Awesome
icons styled so that the colors match the social networks' current
branding. The old social networks sprite image is removed.
To test, apply the patch and run the database update. Rebuild the OPAC
CSS:
https://wiki.koha-community.org/wiki/Working_with_SCSS_in_the_OPAC_and_staff_client
- Go to Administration -> Global system preferences -> OPAC -> Features
and find the SocialNetworks preference.
- If your SocialNetworks preference was enabled, all choices should
be selected. Otherwise none should be selected.
- If none are selected, select them all and save.
- Locate a record in the OPAC and view the details page.
- The social network icons should appear as expected and function as
before.
- Return to system preferences in the staff client and try enabling and
disabling different options, verifying each time that the OPAC
reflects your choices.

This feature allows you to add multiple item records when receiving a
serial, if the subscription is set to 'create item record when receiving
serials'. Please note this is not the same as multi-receiving, more like
multi-adding!
To test:
1) Create a subscription, ensure the 'Create an item record when
receiving this serial' option is selected
2) Receive a serial
3) Expand the item form by selecting 'click to add item'
4) Fill in details, including a barcode. Leave 'number of copies' as 1
and Save.
5) Confirm the serial is received as expected.
6) In another tab, open the bibliographic record attached to this
subscription
7) Confirm the item record was created upon receiving the serial
8) Go back to the serial collection and receive next serial
9) Expand the item form by selecting 'click to add item'
10) Fill in details again, this time change 'number of copies' to a
different number e.g. 3, and Save
11) Confirm the serial is received as expected.
12) Check back at the biblio record that 3 item records were created and
the barcode was incremented for each additional item.

Ctrl-X: Now cuts a line into the clipboard area
Shift-Ctrl-X: Now cuts current subfield into clipboard area
Added:
Ctrl-C: Copies a line into the clipboard area
Shift-Ctrl-C: Copies current subfield into clipboard area
Ctrl-P: Pastes the selected item from the clipboard at cursor
Ctrl-I: Copies the current line and inserts onto a new line below
To test:

Currently Koha very inconsistently adds a . at the end when
outputting MARC fields on the detail views.
This patch removes the few cases where we add in .
Keeping the end user in mind, I believe it's not needed and
the added consistency will be nice. ISBD should be added on
cataloguing or by templates, but we should not mix when possible.
To test:
Catalog the following fields, if repeatable, add more than one:
- 020
- 022
- 111
- 242
- 245
- 246
- 250
- 300
- 440
- 490
- 700/710/711 with $i
- 700/710/711 ind.2 = 2
Verify both on staff and OPAC detail pages that there is no
additional . at the end of the line.

This patch adds column configuration to the table of item types
in administration. No new defaults for the table are defined.
To test, apply the patch and clear your browser cache if necessary.
- Go to Administration -> Item types.
- Test that the "Column visibility" button works to show and hide
columns. The "actions" column should be excluded.
- Test that export options (Excel, CSV, etc) exclude the "actions"
column.
- Go to Administration -> Columns settings and edit the default
configuration of the item types table. Confirm that these
changes are reflected in item tyeps administration.
Test with noItemTypeImages on and off.

SUCCESS => hold is placed or rejected, but no blank page with JSON error is shown.
2. Place a multi hold for any patron
SUCCESS => holds are placed or rejected, but no blank page with JSON error is shown.

1 - Apply patches
2 - Update database
3 - Confirm TransfersBlockCirc defaults to 'Block'
4 - Check in an item that needs transfer
5 - Confirm you must deal with the modal to proceed
6 - Repeat checking to get 'wrong-transfer-modal'
7 - Confirm you must deal with it to proceed
8 - Switch the pref to 'Don't block'
9 - Find a new item or cancel/fulfill the preceeding transfer
10 - Check in the item to generate transfer
11 - Note focus remains on the barcode field and you can continue scanning (or typing if you don't have a scanner)
12 - Note typing and pressing enter continues without requiring you to deal with modal
13 - Repeat for wrong transfer modal
14 - Verify hold and other modals still block continuing circulation

This patch modifies the checkin process so that any errors or messages
related to the current checkin are displayed in any hold/transit modal
which is displayed. This prevents any information from being hidden by
the modal.
This patch also adds an "information" button to the checkout form which
the user can click to redisplay the last modal which was dismissed
(unless confirming the modal reloads the page).
To test, apply the patch and rebuild the staff client CSS
(https://wiki.koha-community.org/wiki/Working_with_SCSS_in_the_OPAC_and_staff_client).
- Test the checkin process with various types of items:
- Item not checked out
- Item not checked out, on hold
- Item not checked out, needs to be transferred
- Item is marked lost, needs to be transferred
- Item checked out, patron has waiting holds (with
WaitingNotifyAtCheckin enabled)
- Item checked out, patron has outstanding fines (with
FineNotifyAtCheckin enabled)
- Test that the modal redisplay button works in cases where the modal
is dismissed without triggering a page reload:
- Hold confirmation -> Ignore
- Transfer confirmation -> OK

Trailing comma's were causing hidden javascript errors during selenium
tests.
Error was identified by adding a $s->capture($driver) line to the
relevant selenium test and using the following JS snippet to dump errors
to the screen.
(function () {
var ul = null;
function createErrorList() {
ul = document.createElement('ul');
ul.setAttribute('id', 'js_error_list');
//ul.style.display = 'none';
document.body.appendChild(ul);
}
window.onerror = function(msg){
if (ul === null)
createErrorList();
var li = document.createElement("li");
li.appendChild(document.createTextNode(msg));
ul.appendChild(li);
};
})();
Which clearly showed the following error.
ReferenceError: KohaTable is not defined
Removing the trailing comma's introduced in this bug resolved the issue.

This patch adds "Withdrawn" status to the item search form and item
search results.
To test you should have one or more items in your catalog which have a
'Withdrawn' status.
Perform an item search and limit to a widthdrawn status. Verify that the
search returns the correct results and that the withdrawn column in
search results shows the correct information.
Test the "Export results to CSV" button. The resulting file should
contain the correct data, including withdrawn status.

3. onsite checkout a document
4. you should return to the checkout page, the box isn't checked
5. apply patch
6. updatedatabase.pl

controls so that if there are no toggle-able buttons (or there is no
columns configuration at all) the column selection menu button will not
appear.
To test, apply the patch and go to Administration -> Columns settings.
- In the Administration section, find the section for the "libraries"
table.
- In the "Cannot be toggled" column, check all the checkboxes.
- Save.
- Go to Administration -> Libraries.

This patch makes a change to the subscription entry template as a
workaround to a translation bug which is causing JavaScript errors when
using translated templates.
To test, apply the patch and update and install the de-DE template:
> cd misc/translator

> perl translate install de-DE
- Go to Administration -> System preferences and enable the "Deutsch
(de-DE)" language under I18N/L10N preferences -> language.
- Switch to the "Deutsch" translation.
- Go to Zeitschriften (Serials) -> Neues Abonnement (New subscription)

In cataloging.js $(document).ready adds noEnterSubmit class.
This does not work in ajax context, it works with $(document).ajaxSuccess.
Test plan :
1)
1.1) Verify you have an item subfield linked to items.itemnotes, ie 952$z
1.2) Verify 952$z exists in ACQ framework
2)
2.1) Verify system preference "AcqCreateItem" is on "placing an order"
2.2) Go to an acquisition basket
2.3) Click "Add to basket" and "From a new (empty) record"
2.4) Go to "Item" block
2.5) Verify that $z has "noEnterSubmit" class
2.6) Verify that typing enter in $z does not submit the form
3)
3.1) Change system preference "AcqCreateItem" to "receiving an order"
3.2) Go to "Receive shipment"
3.3) Receive an order
3.4) Go to "Item" block
3.5) Verify that $z has "noEnterSubmit" class
3.6) Verify that typing enter in $z does not submit the form

Generate a list of fields for the query_string query fields parameter,
with possible boosts, instead of using "_all"-field. Also add "search"
flag in search_marc_to_field table so that certain mappings can be
excluded from searches. Add option to include/exclude fields in
query_string "fields" parameter depending on searching in OPAC or staff
client. Refactor code to remove all other dependencies on "_all"-field.
How to test:
1) Reindex authorities and biblios.
2) Search biblios and try to verify that this works as expected.
3) Search authorities and try to verify that this works as expected.
4) Go to "Search engine configuration"
5) Change some "Boost", "Staff client", and "OPAC" settings and save.
6) Verify that those settings where saved accordingly.
7) Click the "Biblios" or "Authorities" tab and change one or more
"Searchable" settings
8) Verfiy that those settings where saved accordingly.
9) Try to verify that these settings has taken effect by peforming
some biblios and/or authorities searches.

This patch adds the option to show a QR code on the OPAC bibliographic
detail page. The URL of the page is encoded in the image so that
scanning it will take the user to that page on their device. The feature
is controlled by a new system preference, OPACDetailQRCode, which is
disabled by default.
The QR Code is generated by a JavaScript library, "kjua"
(https://github.com/lrsjng/kjua), which has been added to the "About"
page in the staff client.
To test, apply the patch and run the database update. Rebuild the OPAC
CSS (https://wiki.koha-community.org/wiki/Working_with_SCSS_in_the_OPAC_and_staff_client).
- In the staff client, go to Administration -> System preferences.
- Locate the OPACDetailQRCode system preferences under OPAC ->
Features. It should be disabled.
- Enable the preference and switch to the OPAC.
- Locate a title in the catalog and view the detail page.
- In the sidebar menu there should be a "Send to device" link.
- Clicking the link should display a QR Code.
- Scan the code using a QR Code-capable device.
- The URL should be correct.
- Disable the system preference and confirm that the "Send to device"
link no longer appears on the OPAC detail page.

8) click on "Holds" action of any biblio
SUCCESS.4 => a search box appears with two tabs: Patrons and Clubs
9) click on Clubs tab and search by the common part of clubs names
SUCCESS.5 => a list of clubs that matches the search appears. If you click on any of them, the same page as SUCCESS.3 appears.
