The example usage for
C4::Members::Messaging::SetMessagingPreferencesFromDefaults
calls the subroutine SetMessagingPreferenceFromDefaults, not
SetMessagingPreferencesFromDefaults (missing the 's' at the
end of 'Preferences').
To test:
- Apply the patch
- Check that the POD now refers to the actual name of the
subroutine

Adding 's' is the correct doc change to make it match with
the function definition. Comfirmable with less.
perldoc C4::Members::Messaging proves the doc is still nice.

This patch fixes a regression on bug 5603 introduced by
the previous patch by ensuring that if no preferred transports are
active for a given message, GetMessagingPreferences()
won't try to populate the transports hash with an undef hash
key.

If you have enhanced messaging preference, the Days in Advance combo
value (in Patron Messaging Preferences) is saved in the database but
not retrieved when you have not enabled the Email checkbox (or checkbox
for any other transport) next to it.
This patch does the following:
[1] It replaces a JOIN by a LEFT JOIN that is the actual reason of the
problem described.
[2] Removes a FIXME by saving a hardcoded 30 into a constant.
[3] Fixes a typo in the neighborhood.
[4] Removes a superfluous comma in the map statement.
[5] Simplifies code for the selected field of the days combo. It should
just be a boolean. The text selected="selected" is in the template.
Test plan:
[1] Enable enhanced messaging preferences.
[2] Fill in Days in advance for Advance notice but uncheck Email.
[3] Save the preferences.
[4] The member home screen does not display the number of days (until you
decide to apply this patch :)
Followed test plan. Works as expected.

this development)
- FIX UT: If there are no arg passed in parameter, the routine calls
C4::Context->userenv which call an execute statement. It consumes the
mocked resultset

In a librairies network, we would like to declare specific values just
for one (or more) library.
Here we implement the ability to associate categories, patron attributes
types and/or authorised_values with librairies (branches).
This patch adds 3 new association tables:
- categories_branches ( association table between categories and branches )
- authorised_values_branches ( association table between
authorised_values and branches )
- borrower_attribute_types_branches (association table between
borrower_attribute_types and branches )
Plan test:
- Create (or modify) categories, patron attributes and
authorised_values and link it with one (or more) library.
- Set one of these librairies
- Go to one of the multiple pages where this specific value must be displayed
and check that it does appear.
- Set a library not concerned.
- Check on the same pages this value is doest not appear.

This patch adds a new 'statistics' tab in the Patron module.
For a borrower, this tab contains a table with:
- number of checkout for today
- number of checkin for today
- "precedent state", the number of checkouts the patron had yesterday on
its library card
- "actual state", the number of checkouts on the borrower card at the current date
A new syspref (StatisticsFields) contains a list of fields (separated by
pipe (|) on which the table results is based. The default value is
location|itype|ccode

There is a flaw in C4::Members::Messaging::GetMessagingPreferences where
the system assumes that every transport will use the same letter. This
is not necessarily true. Even with the default preferences of just
'email' and 'sms', we should be able to have different letters
for each, as one has a maximum character length ( sms ) and one
does not. GetMessagingPreferences currently uses the letter code
of the last result of its query as the letter code for every transport type.
The returned data is a hashref with a key 'transport_types' that is
an array of transport_types this borrower has selected for the given
alert.
This commit modifies GetMessagingPreferences such that the the
'transport_types' array is now a hash where the name of the transport
type is now a key to the value of the letter code set for that transport
type.
It also modifies code calling GetMessagingPreferences where necessary,
and as a side benefit will correctly get the letter codes for email
and sms correctly, if they are defined differently.

- Enter a list of cardnumbers (or use a file)
- Modify one or more patron's fields (you can modify surname, firstname,
branchname, category, sort1, sort2, date of enrollment, date of expiry,
debarred date, debarred comment and borrower note)
- Save
- Check on the result page (or in database for non-displayed fields) if
modifications have been correctly made.
- re test with different attributes. For each attributes filled with an
authorized value category, you can select a value in a drop-down list.
Else it's a free input text. If your attribute is filled with a patron
category, the modification performs only on patrons belonging to this
category
- Save
- Verify on the result page

C4::SQLHelper:
- added support for '' key for search filter.
- when passing an array to filter, join with OR (rather than AND)
- added support for key => [val1, val2] in filter
- did not document - there was no input documentation to start with,
and SQLHelper should be replaced with something better anyway

Show patron attributes in the sidebar on circ and patron pages
[Edit from Owen Leonard: This patch takes changes originally in
Bug 5436 and isolates just the parts relating to display of
patron attributes. Because function for pulling patron attributes
was merged with the function for displaying address information
in SetMemberInfosInTemplate() (also found in Bug 5749), I moved
the call to GetBorrowerAttributes into the individual scripts.
That keeps the functionality relating specifically to patron
attributes separate from the proposed changes to displaying
addresses.
Because I think it's important to keep the display consistent,
I added display of patron attributes to all pages which include
the patron information sidebar.]

Some spreadsheet programs use smart quotes which causes the db to throw
an error when an insert/update is attempted due to improper processing
of the CSV file. This patch adds code to check for smart quotes and change
them to "dumb" quotes.
This patch also adds more logging of errors and a notice to the user to check
the logs for errors when they occur.

The messaging prefs form was hardcoded to use 'transport-$transport_type', rather than

This was due to poorly constructed SQL which returned duplicate values for
certain fields. This patch corrects that SQL.
NOTE: There is also a formatting problem with the message prefs display table
when it is displayed in moremember.pl. This is due to there being no logic to
tell the table in that context to display checkboxes as appropriate. This patch
does not fix that. Bug 5328 has been opened for this problem.

Essentially, this patch provides the option to overwrite only matching
Extended Attributes, instead of all of them, treating the ext. fields more
like normal fields.
Several functions added to Members::Attributes with corresponding tests.

If the EnhancedMessagingPreferences option is ON, when
creating a new patron record via the patron import, set
the default messaging preferences to the applicable values
the default preferences for the patron category.
Messaging preferences are currently changed only when
*adding* a patron record via the import; if the import
updates an existing record, the patron's existing
preferences are not changed.
API changes:
SetMessagingPreferencesFromDefaults() is a new function
in C4::Members::Messaging to unconditionally replace
the current messaging preferences of a patron with the
default preferences from a specified patron category.

This adds notification code to Reserves.pm to send notifications through email
or SMS to patrons when their hold is filled. It does not send the letter
directly, but instead uses EnqueueLetter. Also, it relies on
EnhancedPatronMessaging being on and the hold notification being turned on for
the specific patron through the 'Messaging' tab.
