Bug 33913: (QA follow-up) Move variables into strings
To test:

1) Checking out to {patron}
* Search for any patron
* Click on cardnumber in patron search results
* Verify that page title reads correctly and includes patron's name

2) Batch check out to {patron}
* Activate BatchCheckouts system preference
* Check all patron categories for BatchCheckoutsValidCategories
* Go to any patron account
* Click on batch checkout tab
* Verify that the page title reads correctly and includes patron's name

3) Place a hold on {title}
* Search for a record with items in the staff interface catalog
* Click on 'place holds'
* Verify that the page title reads correctly and includes the title of the record

4) Overdues as of {date}
* Set DateFormat system preference to any other than default
* Go to circulation > overdues
* Verify the page title includes today's date in the correct format

Bug 34320: Hold reordering arrows look broken after Font Awesome upgrade
This patch makes minor CSS corrections to the arrows on the place hold
page in the staff interface. The corrections are necessary because of
changes in the display of icons in Font Awesome 6.

To test, apply the patch and locate a bibliographic record in the staff
interface to place a hold on.

- Place at least one hold on that title.
- After placing the hold, you should see a table of all the existing
  holds on that record.
- The arrow control links should look correct, with the "move to top"
  and "move to bottom" arrows having an extra border to differentiate
  them from the others.

Bug 30687: Allow pickup location to be forced when override is allowed
This is Julian's patch with some extra cleanup to reduce repeated code

If AllowHoldPolicyOverride is enabled and only some pickup locations are
available, you still have the possibility to force one of the others
pickup locations.
But when there are zero pickup locations available, that is not
possible.

This patch change that by always displaying the list of pickup locations
when AllowHoldPolicyOverride is enabled.

Test plan:
1. Apply patch
2. Disable AllowHoldPolicyOverride
3. Create a biblio B with an item I at library A.
4. Configure this library A to not be a pickup location
5. Add a "Default holds policy by item type" for item I type where "Hold
   pickup library match" is "item's home library"
6. Try to place a hold on biblio B
   You should not be able to place a hold because there is no valid
   pickup locations
7. Enable AllowHoldPolicyOverride
8. Try to place a hold on biblio B
   You should now see all valid pickup locations in a dropdown list
   (with an exclamation mark in front of each option) with none selected
   by default
9. Verify you can place a title-level hold and an item-level hold

Bug 22375: (follow-up) Format even more due dates consistently
To test:
Create some checkouts in future and past, make sure to include
some with a time != 23:59.CirculateILL

Verify that the due date is displayed correctly on:
* Catalog detail page > Items tab > Checkout status
* Circulation start page > Renew > Renew one of your checkouts > dialog message
* ILL request page: requires ILL setup and CirculateILL system preference
* Patron acccount in staff > Print > Print summary
* Catalog detail page > Holds > search for patron > due date on checked out items
* Recalls:
  * Activate UseRecalls system preference, set up circulation rules to allow recalls
  * Checkout an item to another user
  * In the OPAC, place a recall on that record with yor use
  * Check "Recall a specific item"
  * Verify due date in item list
  * Place recall on checked out item
  * Patron account in OPAC > Recalls history (due date might have been changed through recall)
* OPAC patron account > Summary > Overdue tab
* Self checkout:
  * Activate WebBasedSelfCheck
  * Go to <opacbaseurl>/cgi-bin/koha/sco/sco-main.pl
  * Log in > Tab checkouts

Bug 33577: Add btn class to cancel hold button on /reserve/request.pl

Bug 33293: Use template wrapper for tabs: Holds
This patch updates the holds template so that it uses the new WRAPPER
directive to build tabbed navigation.

Note: this patch includes indentation changes, so check the diff
accordingly.

To test, apply the patch and locate a bibliographic record which
can be placed on hold.

- Start the process of placing a hold.
- If you have any patron clubs defined, there should be two tabs:
  Patrons and Clubs. Both should look correct and work correctly.
- If you have no patron clubs you should see only the Patrons tab.

Works as advertised.

templates so that all submit buttons and any buttons that should should
be styled as primary buttons have the Bootstrap class "btn btn-primary."

Bug 31905: Fix button spacing on holds page
This patch makes minor modifications to the holds template in order to
improve the display of the hold buttons related to existing holds.

The patch also adds "display:none" to the hold cancellation fieldset so
there isn't a flash of content before JavaScript hides it.

To test, apply the patch and locate a record in the catalog.

- Place one or more holds on the record.
- View the holds for that record.
- Under the "Existing holds" heading there should be a toolbar of
  buttons which sits above the page-section div. The buttons should be
  well spaced.
- If you have cancellation reasons defined in authorized values, the
  "Cancel selected" button should correctly trigger a modal with the
  option to specify a cancellation reason.
- The display should work well for any setting of the HoldsSplitQueue
  system preference.

This patch adds the class "itypetext" around item type descriptions so
they can easily be hidden with CSS.

To test:
1. Navigate to the pages listed below to confirm that the text
descriptions do show.
2. Add
.itypetext { display:none; }
to IntranetUserCSS and OPACUserCSS system preferences and save.
3. Go back to the pages listed below and confirm that the text
descriptions DO NOT show.

Bug 31519: Move preference fetching directly to be done in the template
Since we are not in a loop or using this multiple times it's simple to
do it this way, helps with changing the template code in the future
too since if we want to remove this syspref variable we know it is
only used in this one particular place.

To test:
 1) Grep for reserve_in_future and make sure there are no matches
    after applying this patch

Bug 31518: Fix syntax error on request.tt that prevents showing hidden item count
The variable set by request.pl doesn't have biblio prefix, it is just
hiddencount.

To test:
 1) Log in with a staff member account that has "Lost items in staff
 interface" setting set to "Hidden by default" in the patron category
 settings
 2) Add a lost item to biblio
 3) Go place a hold on staff interface (request.pl) notice the broken
 link on the request page: "Show all items ( hidden)"
 4) After applying the patch it should read "Show all items (1 hidden)"

Bug 30718: Use flatpickr's altInput
The idea rely on the KohaDates TT plugin for the date formatting. We
should not have any output_pref calls in pl or pm (there are some
exceptions, for ILSDI for instance).

Also flatpickr will deal with the places where dates are inputed. We
will pass the raw SQL value (what we call 'iso' in Koha::DateUtils), and
the controller will receive the same value, no need to additional
conversion.
Note that DBIC has the capability to auto-deflate DateTime objects,
which makes things way easier. We can either pass the value we receive
from the controller, or pass a DT object to our methods.

Bug 30578: Remove circ/ysearch.pl in favor of the /patrons REST API route
This patch removes the circ/ysearch.pl script used by the jQuery autocomplete widget.
We can now use the /api/v1/patrons endpoint to retrieve the patrons and
generate the patron result list.

Prior to this patch the different occurrences were defining the style
and the list of patron's attributes to display for each option (name,
date of birth, age, address, etc.). Now they are all displaying the same
information.

To acchieve this we had to:
* Make js-date-format.inc and js-patron-get-age.inc available from js_includes.inc
and so available from everywhere, which is certainly a good move. We
could discuss why this code is in include file instead of JS files
however.
* Remove the .ajaxSetup call in tags-review.js to reduce its scope: an
underscore parameter was added to the REST API query (?)

A better solution would have been to extend the existing widget
(https://learn.jquery.com/jquery-ui/widget-factory/extending-widgets/)
but I didn't manage to do it, and I feel like there is a bug in jQuery
autocomplete. The "source" was not taken into account.
We could think about replacing the jQuery autocomplete with something
else, but that's outside the scope of this bug.

Test plan:
Search for patrons and confirm the autocomplete works and that the
"select" action works as before (either a redirect or select the
patrons) on the different views:
* Place a hold
* Search for tags (form on the left)
* In the header, "Check out" and "Search patrons"
* Add instructors to course reserves
* View logs (the "librarian" input)

Bug 21978: Use patron-title.inc in request.tt
This patch updates all manual accurences of the patron title display
to use the patron-title.inc include (so we get middlename handling)
in request.tt.

We also add the option to hide the cardnumber from the include and set
the link_to to 'members_pay' to retain the current display format on
this page.

Test plan
You'll need to trigger the following cases to test all cases:
1) Too many holds
2) Account expired
3) Has restrictions
4) Outstanding fines
5) Already has hold on item
6) No holds allowed
7) Too many holds for this record
8) Already in possession
9) Already has a hold
10) Already has a recall
11) Pickup library doesn't many patron home library

Bug 29057: Use font awesome icons on request.pl
This patch offers an alternate take on using Font Awesome icons on the
holds page in place of images as links.

This revised patch updates the icon implementation so that it is easier
to override the Font Awesome icon selection with CSS. Test by adding the
contents of this file to the IntranetUserCSS preference:

Bug 30960: Fix JS error message when no pick-up location is selected when placing a hold
It's possible to place item-level hold without selecting a pick-up
location, which causes problems: if the item is then returned,
Koha tells about a hold, but gives error 500.
At patron's hold tab you see the number of holds, but cannot see the
actual holds there. However, if you go to the title in question,
then modify the hold so that it has a pick-up location,
then the hold will work normally again.

This patch fixes already existing but not working JS error message and
ensures that hold cannot be made while pickup location is undefined.

To reproduce:
1. Go to admin page, to the libraries configurations, and disable
pickup location for one of them.
2. Pick any biblio that has items that have that same library as a
default pickup location.
3. When placing the item-level hold, notice that the pickup location
dropdown box is empty by default. Keep it empty, place the hold.
4. Go to the patron's page of the patron who you placed that hold for,
check that it doesn't show the new hold.
5. Apply patch.
6. Repeat steps 2 and 3, it shouldn't let you make the item-level hold
until you select a specific pickup location.

Bug 30733: Simplify translatable strings
And a few minor fixes when they where causing issues for
translatability.
And rephrased a string about password reset to have it identical to
other strings with the same meaning.

Simplified via wrapping strings with <span> to split to huge
concatenated strings with a lot of %s everywhere.

This patch needs mainly proof reading. Still it's possible to do some
basic testing to demonstrate that adding a <span> in an IF doesn't
break anything.
Pick in one of the 110 modified templates a string that you know how to
display. Otherwise:
1. acquisitions => vendor => basket => add to basket =>
   search "from existing record" => add order
2. Cancel the order
3. You see without issue "Bibliographic record will not be deleted"
4. administration => Patron categories
5. Try to delete a used and unused category
6. You see as expected
   Category XXXX is in use. Deletion not possible!
   and
   Confirm deletion of category XXXX

Bug 30772: Terminology: Replace instances of "reserve" with "hold"
There were several templates where we were still using the term
"reserve" instead of "hold." This patch corrects the ones I found,
including in a couple of HTML comments.

To test, apply the patch and confirm that the changes look correct and
affect only the relevant term.

Bug 30742: Remove 'bad_bibs' and send a list of holdable bibs
Currently place request gets a list of bad_bibs that is created via javascript on the
template. It ignores this list

Ths patch instead doesn't add info for bad bibs, and provides a list of the bibs that
can be held

To test:
1 - Attempt multi hold with some items that can be held, and one that cannot due to notforloan
2 - Fill in pickup locations and place hold
3 - Note hold is place on bib with no avilable items and hsows twice in results
4 - Apply patch
5 - repeat with another patron
6 - Note no aidditonal hold on record with notforloan items
7 - Note with with not for loan items appears only once in results

Bug 30742: Prevent placing holds on items/records where all items notforloan
This patch does a few things:
1 - Adds itemtype not for loan status to display
2 - Adds a conditional to display notforlaon status as the reason a hold cannot be placed
3 - Seperates the lower 'Place hold(s)' buttons for single and multi holds into two template sections
4 - Handles the case where all bibs in a multi hold have no items available
5 - Disables the button for single hlds when all items are unavailable

To test:
 1 - Find or create a record with all items of itemtype marked 'notforloan'
 2 - Attempt to place single hold on this record from staff client
 3 - See one disab;ed button, one enabled 'Place holds' button
 4 - Click 'Place holds' - hold placed
 5 - Cancel hold
 6 - Place multiple holds with some bibs that can be held, and this one that cannot
 7 - Notice message that 'Cannot place hold on some items'
 8 - Click 'Place holds' - hold is generated for the notforloan bib
 9 - Apply patch
10 - Place single hold
11 - Note you now see not for loan status on items
12 - Note the red x also includes message abnout not for loan status
13 - Note the 'Place hold' button is disabled
14 - Attempt multi hold
15 - Message now includes "No items available: One or more records have no items that can be held"
16 - Click 'Place holds'
17 - Above still places the hold - this is for a followup patch

0d196ae7fb Bug 30622: Patron search when placing hold should redirect if cardnumber is entered
When search a patron for placing a hold, if a cardnumber is entered we
should pick the patron and use it, instead of display the table result.

This was a regression caused by bug 30063.

Bug 30693: Javascript broken on request.pl
The holds page in the staff interface has some JavaScript relating to
Bootstrap tabs, but the tabs are not always present on the page. This
leads to a JS error after you have selected the patron for the hold.

This patch adds a check for the tabs container element before executing
the code.

To test, apply the patch and locate a bibliographic record on which to
place a hold.

- On the initial holds screen should see tabs for "Patrons" and "Clubs."
  Both should work correctly.
- Select a patron to place the hold for.
- On the page where you enter hold details (pickup library, hold
  expiration, etc.) there should be no JavaScript error in the console.

e61c835695 Bug 30577: Move item specific pickup locations to the left
When placing holds, staff will set the pickup location at the top,
choose an item, then place the hold.
It is easy not to notice the item specific locations dropdown.

This patch moves it in line with the other selction areas on the request screen.

To test:
 1 - Find a record on staff client, place hold
 2 - Select a patron to load the request screen
 3 - Note the location dropdown for next available hold
 4 - Note the item specific locations on the far right
 5 - Apply patch
 6 - Reload the page
 7 - Note the item specific location dropdowns are now moved to the left
 8 - Place the hold, verify it works with the dropdowns
 9 - Verify title levelholds still work as expected
10 - Verify multi-holds still work

59546c9924 Bug 30457: (follow-up) Tweak markup around search form
This patch makes a change to the markup around the patron/clubs search
form on the holds page. This change prevents the Bootstrap tabs from
inheriting an unwanted margin from the fieldset.brief definition.

The change also replaces a <label> tag with an <h2>. I think a heading
makes more sense than a free-floating <label>.

To test, apply the patch and confirm that the holds page
(/cgi-bin/koha/reserve/request.pl?biblionumber=XXX) looks correct.

756d71f687 Bug 30457: Convert holds page tabs to Bootstrap
This patch updates the holds page to replace jQueryUI tabs with
Bootstrap.

To test, apply the patch and begin the process of placing a hold on a
title in the catalog.

If you have one or more patron clubs configured:
 - You should see two tabs, Patrons and Clubs.
 - Both should look correct and work correctly.
 - The Patrons tab should be selected initially, with cursor focus in
   the form field.
 - Switch to the Clubs tab. The cursor focus should move to the form
   field under this tab.
 - Submit a club search which will return results.
 - The page should refresh and the clubs tab should be preselected,
   showing the search results.

If you have no patron clubs configured, the page should show only the
Patrons tab.

925fb810fe Bug 27631: offline_circ, patroncards, plugins, pos, reserve, rotating_collections folders
Changed each of the pages in the offline_circ, patroncards, plugins,
pos, reserve, rotating_collections folders to have one <h1> tag showing
that describes the page, rather than the <h1> describing the logo.

The hierarchy of heading tags may be broken in many pages, but this
will be dealt with in an additional bug.

To test:
1) Go to the Staff Client
2) Apply patch
3) Go to each of the pages in the offline_circ, patroncards, plugins,
   pos, reserve, rotating_collections folders and check that they have
   an obvious and descriptive heading
4) Ensure that the heading in the page is <h1>

guarantee that) so the $KohaDates filter should not be used on this data

89a54da63e Bug 30093: Make patron search from request.pl use the REST API
In this patch we want to reuse what has been done in the previous bug
report to search patrons using the REST API route.
The code is mainly in members/search.tt, for all the patron searches
that "add" or "select" a patron (popup windows).
The patron search for holds is a bit different, we don't want to open a
popup window.
We are moving to code to an include file (patron-search.tt) to make it
reusable easily.

Note that we are improving how the patron's addresses are displayed, and
provide a JS equivalent to the TT includes files.

Test plan:
Search for patrons from the "Place a hold on" view.
You should see the same view as behaviour, with more filters.

Throughout your testing, try with different combinations of these rules and itemtype / branchcode / categorycode. Also try with null values. Keep the circulation rules open in another tab so you can refer to and update these easily. You should also have at least one other tab open for the staff client, and a third tab open for the OPAC, for ease of testing.

9. Go to your account -> More -> Set permissions. Confirm the recalls permission is checked.
10. Set up a test user with OPAC login details (Borrower A). This could also be your own user, as long as you have OPAC login access.
11. Set up a test record (Biblio A) with at least two items (Item A and Item B) of the same item type (or an item type with the same recall circ rules).

PLACING A RECALL

12. Log in to the OPAC as Borrower A. Do a catalogue search with a term that will return multiple results, including Biblio A.
13. Click on Biblio A.
14. Notice there is a 'Place recall' button on the sidebar menu. Click this button. There will be a message saying that there are no items to recall - this is because all items are available.

15. Check out Item A to another borrower (Borrower B).
16. Refresh the 'Place recall' page. You will still NOT be able to place a recall - this is because Recalls allowed = 0 and Recalls per record = 0.

17. Edit the circulation rules to have the following values:
Recalls allowed (count) = 1
Recalls per record (count) = 1
18. Refresh the 'Place recall' page. You will now see the form to place a recall.

BIBLIO-LEVEL RECALL, NO TRANSFER

19. Place a biblio-level recall.
Pickup location: Branch A, the set branch when you are logged into the staff client
Recall not needed after (expiration date): whatever you want
Select 'recall next available item'
Click confirm
20. Confirm the recall is placed successfully. Confirm that the new due date displayed is correctly calculated to be today's date, plus 3 days (taken from the 'recall due date interval' circ rule)
21. In the staff client, look at Borrower B's account, and go to their Notices tab. Confirm they have received a 'Notification to return recalled item' notice.
22. Look at Borrower B's checkouts table. Notice the due date for their checkout has been adjusted, and there is now a note to say that the item was recalled and the due date adjusted.
23. Log in to the OPAC as Borrower B and go to your summary tab. Notice there is a note under their checkout to say the item had been recalled.

24. Log out of the OPAC and log back in as Borrower A.
25. Go to your summary tab. Confirm there is a Recalls tab with a count of 1.
26. Cancel the recall using the button. Confirm it cancels and the Recalls tab disappears.

27. Do a catalogue search with a term that will return multiple results, including Biblio A.
28. When the results load, notice there is a 'Place recall' button next to the 'Place hold' button. Click this 'Place recall' button.
29. Notice you are redirected straight to the form to place a recall.
30. Place a biblio-level recall again, following the steps in Step 19.

31. Go to your recalls history tab. Notice your first cancelled recall shows here.
32. Cancel the recall you just created, using the button. Confirm it cancels and you are redirected to your summary tab.

33. In the staff client, enable the UseCourseReserves system preference.
34. Go to the main menu, click Course Reserves.
35. Add a new course. (You may also have to define an authorised value for DEPARTMENT.)
36. Add Item A as a reserve to this course.

37. View Course Reserves in the OPAC. Click the course you just created.
38. Notice the reserve has a Recall button underneath it's 'Checked out' status. Click this button.
39. Place a biblio-level recall again, following the steps in Step 19.

40. Click the 'Place recall' link in the breadcrumbs.
41. Notice there is a message saying that you have reached the max number of recalls on this record. This is because Recalls allowed = 1 and Recalls per record = 1.
42. Edit the circulation rules to have the following values:

47. Go to Circulation -> Recalls queue. Your current recalls should show here.

50. Go to the OPAC and place a biblio-level recall on Biblio A again, following the steps in Step 19.

51. In the staff client, check in Item A, which should still be checked out to Borrower B.
52. A box should pop-up asking you to confirm Borrower A's recall. Click ignore.
53. Click the link to go view Biblio A's details in the catalogue.
54. Click the recalls tab. Notice Borrower A's recall is displayed, and shows it is still Requested (has not been confirmed waiting).

55. Check in Item A again. This time, confirm the recall as waiting using the "Confirm recall" button.
56. Go to Borrower A's Notices tab. Confirm there is a notice "Recalled item awaiting pickup".
57. Go to Borrower A's checkouts. Notice there is a recalls tab. Confirm the recall is showing as "Ready for pickup".
58. Click the 'Actions' dropdown. Click the "Revert waiting" button. The page should show a message that the waiting status has been reverted, without reloading.

59. This time, check in Item B. The recall confirmation box should show again, because this a biblio-level recall that any recallable item under Biblio A can fill. Click the "Print slip and confirm" button.
60. Check the slip that is generated. Confirm it contains Borrower A's correct details, and the details of the recall are correct.
61. Go to Circulation -> Recalls awaiting pickup. Confirm the recall is now waiting and shows in this list.
(You could also try this with Item B having a different item type to Item A, and circ rules not allowing Item B's item type to have recalls. When checking in Item A, it should not trigger the recall box).

62. Go to Borrower A's checkouts. Check out Item B.
63. Confirm the checkout is successful and the recall is removed from the Recalls tab.
64. Go to Circulation -> Old recalls. The fulfilled recall should show.

65. Check in Item B.

BIBLIO-LEVEL RECALL, TRANSFER REQUIRED

66. Check out Item A to Borrower B.
67. Log in to the OPAC as Borrower A.
68. Find Biblio A and place a biblio-level recall.
Pickup location: Branch B, a different branch from your logged in branch. This recall will require a transfer.

69. In the staff client, check in Item A at Branch A. Notice the box that pops up shows that a transfer is required.

146. Log in to the OPAC as Borrower A. Place a recall (any level) on Biblio A.
147. Check in Item A. Confirm the recall as waiting.
148. Check out Item A to Borrower B. You should see a yellow confirmation box, saying that that another borrower has recalled the item that you are trying to check out.
149. Select "Revert waiting status" and click "Yes check out" and confirm the item is checked out and the recall status has reverted to requested.

OTHER
150. In your terminal, enter mysql and edit the due date of the checkout to Borrower B to be before today
UPDATE issues SET date_due = NOW()-2 WHERE issue_id = X;
151. Go to Borrower A's recalls and click the Actions dropdown.
152. Click "Mark as overdue" and confirm the recall is marked as overdue manually.

153. Go to Tools -> Log Viewer. Check only the Recalls module, and leave all other parameters, and click Submit.
154. Confirm all of the recalls actions that have been made are correctly logged.

52b5a22edf Bug 28782: Use query param list instead of splitting elements using '/'
This removes the need to handle single and multiple cases separately,
thus removing bunch if-else cases and simplifying our code. This
coding style is also in line with our other .pl scripts.

This patch adds a new cookie 'awalys_show_holds' and utlises it on request.pl
to determine if the existing holds table should be loaded.

If the cookie does not exist, the table is loaded to preserve exiting behaviour.
If the cookie exists and is set to 'DONT' a new button 'Show holds' is added to
the page to allow force loading the table

To test:
1 - Place some holds on a record
2 - Click 'Holds' tab or 'Place a hold' from details page
3 - Note search box to place hold and table of existing holds
4 - Apply patch
5 - Reload the holds page and note new checkbox 'Always show holds'
6 - Confirm the box is checked
7 - Uncheck it
8 - Reload the page and confirm holds do not automatically load
9 - Click the new 'Show holds' button
10 - Confirm the existing holds load, and that 'Always show holds' is unchecked
11 - Check 'Always show holds'
12 - Reload page and confirm holds don't show
13 - Uncheck the box, load holds for another record, confirm it remains unchecked
14 - Bring up browser console (F12)
15 - In 'Storage' tab, under 'Cookies', delete the cookie for 'always_show_holds'
16 - Reload holds page, confirm holds load and check box is checked

093cffe7c1 Bug 29735: Remove flatpickr init from categories.js and holds.js
Same as bug 29394, we want the flatpickr instanciations be done at the
same place, from calendar.inc. That way they will all behave
identically.

Test plan:
Edit a patron category and confirm that the "until date" calendar has
the "yesterday" and "today" dates disabled

Place a hold on an item, go to the patron detail page, click the "holds"
tab, suspend.
That should trigger a modal that will display a calendar with
"yesterday" and "today" dates disabled

1eb6a02c2f Bug 29115: Fix syntax errors in club hold functionality
The code didn't previously correctly do the checks for patron
debarment status and whether the patron has fees, this caused the
intended warnings messages to not appear when they should have.

To test:
 1) Create a new club and add a patron to it who has manual debarment
    and a manual charge of over $5 (more than the maxoutstanding syspref).
 2) Try to create a new club hold for the previously created club and
    notice no warnings are listed for the patron.
 3) Apply patch
 4) Try to create now the club hold again and notice the warnings
    being shown in the hold page.

7af1a0f052 Bug 29404: Add infinite scrolling to pickup location dropdowns
This patch adds infinite scrolling to the pickup locations select2
dropdowns on the staff interface.

It does so by adding a new transport function (in select2.js) to read
the response headers Koha's API sends back, and converting to the right
data structure Select2 expects for the feature to work.

This is manually used in the different pickup locations dropdowns.
There's a separate bug that will introduce a select2 wrapper that will probably embed this function in it.

To test:
1. Run the [DO NOT PUSH] script inside koha-shell to generate random
   pickup locations:
   $ kshell
  k$ perl generate_pickup_locations.pl
2. Try placing holds. Notice the visible pickup locations dropdowns
   display some pickup locations based on the matches you got. They are
   all fetched once
=> SUCCESS: It works
3. Repeat for the current holds page and the patron holds listing
=> SUCCESS: Same behavior
4. Apply this patch
5. Repeat 2 and 3
=> SUCCESS: Things work, but pickup locations are retrieved as needed,
while you scroll.

087cb956e0 Bug 28816: Improve the display of multiple holds during hold process
This patch updates the appearance of the "confirm holds" page, shown
during the process of placing a hold for someone in the staff interface.

Most of the changes affect the appearance of the page when placing
multiple holds on titles which have one or more holds on them already.

The changes are intended to make the page clearer and easier to scan,
especially when placing multiple holds at once.

Also changed: The page heading when placing multiple holds now changes
based on whether you've selected a patron or not. It says "Search
patrons or clubs" when it's waiting for a patron/club selection. It says
"Place holds" after the patron/club has been selected. This is instead
of "Confirm holds" on both pages.

To test, apply the patch and rebuild the staff interface CSS
(https://wiki.koha-community.org/wiki/Working_with_SCSS_in_the_OPAC_and_staff_client).

- Go to Administration -> System preferences and set HoldsSplitQueue to
  "nothing."
- Perform a search in the staff client catalog and place multiple holds
  titles from that result set on hold for a patron.
- Perform the same search and select one or more of the titles you
  selected before in addition to one or more titles with no holds.
- After clicking the "Place hold" button you should see a page with the
  heading "Search patrons or clubs" showing information about existing
  holds. This section of the page should be clear and readable, with
  clear distinction between each section of information about each hold.
- Test this page again under each different option for the
  "HoldsSplitQueue" system preference by changing the preference and
  reloading the page.

51f42b8734 Bug 29356: Pickup location dropdowns should perform 'contains' searches
When placing a hold, the dropdowns for selecting a pickup library automatically right-truncate, so one can type "cen" and find Centerville.

On the Libraries page in Admin, however, the search box both left- and
right-truncates, so one can type "en" and find Centerville.

This patch makes the search perform 'contains' searches.

To test:
1. Try placing a hold. Make sure your rules allow Centerville to be a
   valid pickup location.
2. Search 'cen'
=> SUCCESS: Centerville shows
3. Search 'en
=> FAIL: Centerville doesn't show
4. Apply this patch and reload
5. Repeat 2
=> SUCCESS: Works!
6. Repeat 3
=> SUCCSS: Centerville shows!

This patch makes the select2 dropdowns for pickup locations not be
limited to the RESTdefaultPageSize syspref limit.

To test:
1. Have less than 20 libraries in your system as valid pickup locations
2. Place a hold via the staff client
=> SUCCESS: See that all your libraries appear in the pickup location dropdowns at the bib and item level
3. Update RESTdefaultPageSize, set the value to something lower than your count of pickup libraries
4. place another hold
=> FAIL: Your pickup location list gets cut off and only shows as many locations as RESTdefaultPageSize allows
5. Apply this patch
6. Repeat 4
=> SUCCESS: All your pickup locations show

This patch allows staff patrons to cancel multiple holds in bulk.

To test:
1. Apply this patch
2. restart_all
3. In cataloge go to a book and place many holds
CHECK => Holds table shows a column of checkboxes
4. Play with checkboxes (have some fun ;-P)
CHECK => When you manually check all checkboxes, the checkbox in the
header also gets checked.
      => When you uncheck one of the checkboxes, the one in the header also gets unchecked.
      => If no checkbox is checked and you check the one in the header,
all checkboxes get checked.
      => If there are some checkboxes that are checked and others are
not, when you click on the checkbox in the header all checkboxes get
unchecked.
      => If all checkboxes are checked, when you uncheck the one in the
header, all checkboxes get unchecked.
      => Every time you play with checkboxes, the number in the button
"Cancel selected" changes.
5. Check some of the checkboxes and click on cancel selected.
SUCCESS => A background job gets fired to cancel all selected holds.
        => A message should appear with a link to the job.
6. Wait a few seconds and click on the link
SUCCESS => A message appears with the report of the execution of the
background job.
7. Grab a patron and search to hold
8. Select multiple biblios and click on "place hold for <patron>"
CHECK => After holds are confirmed, multiple holds table are shown.. one for
   each record. Checkboxes work exactly the same as before, but scoped
for each individual table. Checkboxes from one table will not affect
checkboxes from other tables.
9. Repeat steps 4 to 6.
10. Check In some of the items so the get in Waiting state.
11. Update expirationdate os some of those holds and set it to
    ReservesMaxPickUpDelay + 1 days earlier
NOTE => ReservesMaxPickUpDelay = 7 days by default, so sql syntax to update would be
     => update reserves set expirationdate = date_sub(expirationdate, interval 8 day) where reserve_id in (...)
12. Repeat steps 4 to 6 but in waitingreserves.pl, in both tabs.

e5f1ada249 Bug 28937: Use Flatpickr on circulation and patron pages
This patch replaces the use of jQueryUI's datepicker on circulation and
patron-related pages.

The patch modifies Flatpickr's default configuration (in calendar.inc)
so that it has the following features:

 - A Flatpickr input with a "futuredate" class will require that the
   selected date be after today.
 - The Flatpickr input field will be wrapped in a container to
   facilitate better CSS styling.
 - Generic handling of paired date fields is enabled using
   ".flatpickrfrom" and ".flatpickrto" field classes. This mimics the
   same feature we have for jQueryUI datepickers using ".datepickerfrom"
   and ".datepickerto".

This patch also removes an unused function which was repeated in three
templates: validate1.

To test, apply the patch and rebuild the staff interface CSS
(https://wiki.koha-community.org/wiki/Working_with_SCSS_in_the_OPAC_and_staff_client).

- Go to Circulation and check out to a patron.
  - Open the Restrictions tab and click "Add manual restriction."
    - In the "Expiration" field, test that the Flatpickr widget works
      correctly and limits to dates after today.
  - Enable the SpecifyDueDate preference if necessary.
    - Test the behavior of the SpecifyDueDate controls: Setting a date,
      clearing a date, session persistence.
- Enable the SuspendHoldsIntranet system preference if necessary.
  - Check out to a patron with existing holds.
    - Open the Holds tab and click the "Suspend" button for one of the
      holds.
      - In the modal window which appears, check that the Flatpickr
        widget works correctly and limits to dates after today.
      - At the bottom of the table of holds, test that the "Suspend all
        holds" Flatpickr works correctly and limits to dates after
        today.
        - Perform this same test from the patron details page.
- Enable the  BatchCheckouts system preference if necessary.
  - Open a patron record and click "Batch check out" in the left-hand
    sidebar menu.
    - Test that the "Hard due date" Flatpickr works correctly as a date
      and time picker.
- Go to Circulation -> Overdues.
  - Test that the date due filters in the sidebar work correctly and
    are linked, e.g. the "to" field cannot be before the "from" field.
     - Perform the same test here: Circulation -> Holds to pull; and
       here: Circulation -> Hold ratios.
- Enable the  HouseboundModule system preference if necessary.
  - Check out to or view details of a patron.
    - Click "Housebound" in the sidebar menu.
      - Save delivery day and frequency settings for that patron.
      - Click "Add a new delivery."
      - Test that the "Date" Flatpickr widget works correctly.
- Go to Patrons -> A patron record -> Edit.
  - Test that Flatpickr widgets work on the following fields:
    - Date of birth
    - Registration date & Expiration date (linked).
    - Patron restrictions -> Add manual restriction -> Expiration.
- View a bibliographic record and start the process of placing a hold.
  - After selecting a patron, test the "Hold starts on" and "Hold
    expires on" date fields. The fields should be linked and each
    should limit to future dates.
  - Confirm that the dates are saved correctly when you submit the
    hold.
- Locate a bibliographic record with multiple holds and view the holds.
  - In the table of holds, test each date field: Date, expiration, and
    suspend-until.
- Test that Flatpickr's static "formatDate" method is working
  correctly:
  - Locate a bibliographic record's item so that there is text in both
    the "Public note" and "Non-public note" field.
  - Check that item out to a patron.
  - After the page reloads the public and non-public notes should be
    shown under the checkout title highlighted in red.
- Check for references to a "validate1" function. There should be none.

This patch modifies the holds template so that during the
multi-hold process, titles with no items attached are treated the same
way as titles with no items available (items exist but cannot be place
don hold):

 - The row showing such a record will say "No items are available to be
    placed on hold."
 - The pickup location dropdown will be hidden.

To test, follow the previous test plan and confirm that these change are
reflected. Now that the pickup location field isn't present for titles
without items you should be able to complete the holds process.

This patch modifies the hold process so that if one of the titles in a
multi-hold process has no items the process doesn't abort completely.

To test, apply the patch and perform a search in the catalog which will
return one or more records with no items attached.

 - Check checkboxes for multiple results, some of which have items and
   at least one of which has no items.
 - Click "Place hold."
 - You should be taken to the page for placing multiple holds, with a
   heading, "Cannot place hold on some items."
 - Note: You will not be able to complete the holds process without the
   next patch.

0390b0ef45 Bug 7703: Don't block bulk hold action on search results if some items can't be placed on hold
If you select multiple titles on the search results page in order to
place a bulk hold and some of those titles have no items you get a
JavaScript alert warning you can some cannot be placed on hold. You are
blocked from completing the action until you deselect the invalid hold.

This is unnecessary because the bulk hold process will safely refuse to
place a hold on these titles later in the process.

This patch removes the check that prevents submitting a multi-hold if
one or more records in the multi-hold have no items.

Test plan:
1) Apply patch
2) On the staff interface, do a search
3) On the search results, select at least one record with items and one
   record with no items.
4) Click the 'Place hold' button.
5) You should be redirected to reserve/request.pl with the message
   "Cannot place hold: this record has no items attached."

The expected behaviour for "On shelf holds allowed" setting for the circulation rules (Koha administration > Patrons and circulation > Circulation and fines rules):
- Allow holds only on items that are currently checked out or otherwise unavailable.
- If set to "Yes", patrons can place holds on items currently checked in.
- If set to "If any unavailable", patrons can only place holds on items that are not unavailable.
- If set to "If all unavailable", patrons can only place holds on items where *all* items on the record are unavailable.

These rules should also work when using ILS-DI, but currently they don't. This bug makes sure that the "On shelf holds allowed" rules work correctly when using ILS-DI to place holds.

Test plan:

1. Enable ILS-DI (set the ILS-DI system preference to Enable).
2. Go to Koha administration > Patrons and circulation > Circulation and fines rules.
3. Work through steps 4-5 for each of the settings for "On shelf holds allowed" for all libraries/patron categories/item types:
   . "Yes", "If any unavailable", and "If all unavailable"
4. Staff interface - place a hold on a record with items available for loan, the rules should work as expected before and after the patch is applied:
   . "Yes"
      ==> information column in the item table displays "Not on hold", the hold is placed, cancel the hold
   . "If any unavailable" and "If all unavailable"
      ==> the hold is not placed, message is "Cannot place hold. No items are available to be placed on hold.", red "X" in the hold column and the information column displays "Not on hold".
5. ILS-DI - place a hold on a record with items available for loan (note: without the patch, holds can be placed):
   . Query to place a hold using ILS-DI on a title that have all its items available,
     example query: http://127.0.0.1:8080/cgi-bin/koha/ilsdi.pl?service=HoldTitle&patron_id=1&bib_id=1&request_location=127.0.0.1
     ==> Without the patch the hold is placed but it shouldn't be allowed, cancel the hold
   . Query to place a hold using ILS-DI on an available item,
     example query: http://127.0.0.1:8080/cgi-bin/koha/ilsdi.pl?service=HoldItem&patron_id=1&bib_id=1&item_id=1)
     ==> Without the patch the hold is placed but it shouldn't be allowed, cancel the hold
6. Run the tests prove t/db_dependent/Reserves.t - these should pass.
7. Apply the patch (and flush_memcached and restart_all if using koha-testing-docker).
8. Run through steps 3-6 again, and note the changes when "If any unavailable" and "If all unavailable" options are used:
   . For the staff interface: there should be no change in behavour and should work as expected, for the red "X" in the items table additional text is added "onShelfHoldsNotAllowed".
   . For ILS-DI: these should now work as expected, with holds not placed, and this message in the results returned <code>onShelfHoldsNotAllowed</code> (check to confirm no holds place for either the patron or the item)
   . Tests: should still pass.
9. Sign off.

333ee72600 Bug 28338: Default to holding branch to save clicks
This patch makes request.pl pass the holding library object to the
template, if it is a valid pickup location for the item. This way, the
template can set a good default to save clicks.

To test:
1. Have "Hold pickup library match" set to "Item's home library"
2. Have a record with items in three different branches. For example:
   - item1: homebranch: MPL, holdingbranch: MPL
   - item2: homebranch: FPL, holdingbranch: FPL
   - item3: homebranch: CPL, holdingbranch: IPT
3. Have FPL marked as 'No' for pickup location
4. On the record, open the page for placing a hold for a patron
   (acevedo?)
=> SUCCESS: You are presented the regular hold placing page, with an
extra column on the items for pickup location setting
=> SUCCESS: The item2 (on FPL) cannot be selected, there's a clear message
about not having valid pickup locations
=> FAIL: The other ones don't have anything pre-selected on the
dropdowns
5. Apply this patch
6. Repeat 4 (go back to the record, etc)
=> SUCCESS: Nothing changed BUT the item with holding branch = MPL has
it set by default in the dropdown.
=> SUCCESS: IPT is not a valid pickup location for item3, so not set by
default in this case.

7fbb07ba59 Bug 28338: Make item-level holds use locally defined pickup branches
Besides the commit subject, this patch does much more:
- It makes request.pl stop passing a pickup location to
  CanItemBeReserved
- It makes the page use the API to render a dropdown for each item, with
  their valid pickup locations
- Items with no valid pickup locations have a nice message about why
  they are disabled for selection

To test:
1. Apply this patch
2. Choose a biblio for placing a hold
3. Choose a patron
=> SUCCESS: You are presented with a new layout, that includes a
dropdown for choosing each item's pickup location. If an item is not
holdable, it still isn't.
4. Try having an item whose home branch is not marked as a pickup
   location
=> SUCCESS: Notice you cannot choose that item
5. CHoose an item, but do not choose a branch, and click 'Place hold'
=> SUCCESS: It shows an alert about the need to choose a pickup location
6. Choose one of the (only possible) pickup locations for the specific
   item
7. Place the item level hold
=> SUCCESS: All goes as expected!

35612f8223 Bug 28496: Club holds pickup locations don't come from the API
This patch fixes a issue that is generated by the fact different inputs
were reusing the same id.

To test:
1. Have a club with some enrollments
2. Make sure you have your circ rules to allow any  library be a pickup
   location.
3. Search for a biblio
4. Try placing a club hold
=> FAIL: The dropdown only has the (currently) logged in library.
5. Apply this patch
6. Repeat 3-4
=> SUCCESS: The dropdown has all the options

9cc6fca618 Bug 27899: Missing description for libraryNotPickupLocation on request.pl
This patch adds text to the holds template in the staff client so that
if a particular item is at a library which isn't a hold location the
error message is descriptive.

To test, apply the patch and go to Administration -> Libraries.

 - Change one of your libraries so that "Pickup location" is set to
   "No."
 - Locate a title in the catalog which has an item at that location.
 - The "pick up at" list will exclude the library so and additional steps
     must be taken to get the message
 - Select a patron and set their library to the one we can't pick up at.
 - Start the process of placing a hold on the title.
 - After selecting the patron to place the hold for, look at the table of
   items under "Place a hold on a specific item."
 - The item located at the library you modified should show an error
   message in the "Hold" column, "Library is not a pickup location."

a2510a51b5 Bug 28273: Add form validation for pickup locations
This patch introduces validation on the new pickup locations column.
This way, if a selected title doesn't have a pickup location set, it
will prevent form submission and a suitable error message will pop-up.

To test:
1. Apply this patch
2. Attempt to place multi-title level holds
3. Make sure some selected titles don't have the pickup location set
4. Submit
=> SUCCESS: Form submission halts, an idiomatic error message shows.
5. Unselect all biblios and repeat 4
=> SUCCESS: You are not allowed to proceed, a message is displayed.
6. Have all selected titles set a pickup location, submit
=> SUCCESS: Holds are placed as they should.

This patch makes the multi-hold page offer only valid pickup locations
for the selected biblios. Prior to this, all system-wide pickup
locations were offered.

To test:
1. Set 'Hold pickup library match' to 'Item's home branch' so we put a
   constraint on the valid pickup locations for easier testing.
2. Choose two or more biblios from a search, which contain  in total 2
   or 3 item home branches.
3. Click 'Place hold'
4. Choose a patron
=> FAIL: The dropdown offers all system's pickup locations
5. Apply this patches
6. Reload the page
=> SUCCESS: Only valid pickup locations are offered
