This patch updates several circulation templates so that they use the
new WRAPPER for displaying breadcrumbs.
The patch also makes a minor change to bookcount.pl to allow for correct
display of the record title using the biblio-title include.
Navigation context for bookcount.tt has been changed to "catalog" from
"circulation" because the page is linked to from a catalog-related page.
To test, apply the patch and test each page and its variations.
Breadcrumbs should look correct, and each link should be correct.
- Circulation home page
- Checkout notes
- Article requests
- Transfer
- Overdues with fines
- Check out -> Check out to patron ->
- Batch check out
- Catalog -> Search -> Bibliographic record -> Items
- View item's checkout history. The updated page should show this new
breadcrumb sequence: Home -> Catalog -> [title] -> Items ->

* Turn on AllowCheckoutNotes system preference
* Check out an item
* Go to the OPAC and add a checkout note to your checkout
* In the staff interface, look at: Circulation > Checkout notes
* Verify the page section is missing from the notes table
* Apply patch
* Verify the table now looks better!

This patch adds a new class to toolbars in certain contexts: Where the
toolbar contains only text links (as opposed to Bootstrap-styled
controls). This lets us set some comfortable padding on the links.
To test, apply the patch and rebuild the staff interface CSS.
Test the following pages to confirm that the toolbar of selection links
("Select all," "Clear all," etc.) has legible spacing.
- Cataloging -> Batch item modification -> List of submitted barcodes
- Cataloging -> Batch item deletion -> List of submitted barcodes
- Cataloging -> Batch record modification -> List of submitted records
- Cataloging -> Batch record deletion -> List of submitted records
- Circulation -> Checkout notes
- Tools -> Batch extend due dates -> Preview results

Swapped the order of the page titles to have the unique information
first, i.e. the name of the specific page displays first, and the name of the website (e.g. Koha) displays at the end.
To test:
1) Apply patch
2) Ensure each of the files in the circ folder are swapped around
to display the most unique information first, and the website name is at the end
3) Ensure the pages displayed on the Staff Client that correspond to
these files also display the changes

This patch modifies several circulation templates to replace the use of
the "title-string" DataTables sorting method with the newer
"data-order" attribute.
To test, apply the patch and view the following pages to confirm that
columns containing dates sort correctly when using any setting of the
"dateformat" system preference:
- Circulation -> Checkout notes
- To populate the table, enable the "AllowCheckoutNotes" system
preference enabled, log in to the OPAC as a user with checkouts.
From the "Your summary" page use the "Report a problem" fields to
submit notes.
- Circulation -> On-site checkouts
- Requires the "OnSiteCheckouts" system preference to be enabled and
and for some items to be checked out as on-site checkouts.
- Circulation -> Overdues
- Circulation -> Holds to pull
- Circulation -> Transfers to send
- Requires the "StockRotation" preference to be enabled, some rotas
to be set up, and for the stockrotation cron job to be executed.
- Circulation -> Transfers to receive
- Circulation -> Holds queue

Modified breadcrumbs to be accessible, in particular for a
screen-reader.
Made the block of breadcrumbs be a <nav aria label="Breadcrumb"
class="breadcrumb"> with an ordered list inside. The last breadcrumbs
also has aria-current="page" to specify that it is the current page.
To test:
1) Apply patch
2) Build scss file
3) Ensure each of the files in the circ folder have breadcrumbs that are
in a <nav aria label="Breadcrumb" class="breadcrumb"> block
4) Ensure that there is an ordered list in the block of breadcrumbs
5) Ensure that the last breadcrumb has aria-current="page"
6) Ensure that the breadcrumbs on each page of the staff client
belonging to these files look the same as before, but the '>' symbol
is replaced with '/' and the last breadcrumb has bold text
7) Ensure that when the last breadcrumb is clicked it takes you to the
page you are currently on

This patch add the noExport class to all "Actions" columns in the
codebase.
It's a stupid search and replace, maybe the class is added to table
where there is no export button.
Test plan:
Search tables where the export button is available. Confirm that the
"Actions" columns is not exported.
Example: /admin/branches.pl, /admin/cities.pl

This patch modifies the event handler on the individual "Mark seen" /
"Mark unseen" buttons in the table of checkout notes. For an event to be
successfully attached to a hidden element it must be given a context.
To test you should have multiple checkout notes to work with, both seen
and unseen. Apply the patch and go to "Checkout notes pending" from the
staff client home page.
- Navigate to the second "page" of data in the DataTable.
- Test the functionality of the "Mark seen" and "Mark unseen" buttons.

This patch changes the way checkbox events are handled on the checkout
notes page so that checking a checkbox enables the batch operation
controls.
Note: The addition of a "markseen" class is a preventative measure to
avoid future problems where using the "btn-small" class might not be
specific enough.
To test you should have multiple checkout notes to work with, both seen
and unseen. Apply the patch and go to "Checkout notes pending" from the
staff client home page.
- Check any checkbox. The "Mark seen" and "Mark not seen" should go
from disabled to enabled.
- Test that the buttons work correctly.

This patch upgrades DataTables and makes some style changes to the
default DataTables toolbar style. DataTables assets are now combined and
minified using their download customizer, bundling together these
elements:
- JSZip 2.5.0
- pdfmake 0.1.36
- DataTables 1.10.18
- Buttons 1.5.6
- Column visibility 1.5.6
- HTML5 export 1.5.6
- Print view 1.5.6
- FixedHeader 3.1.4
DataTables assets have been moved from lib/jquery/plugins to
lib/datatables. The global header and footer include files are updated
correspondingly.
This patch removes the custom "four_button" pagination configuration and
updates pages which used it to use the built-in "full" type instead.
This is done for the sake of consistency and upgradability. This change
touches a lot of files.
Table-specific CSS has been moved from staff-global.scss to a new
include, _tables.scss. A second common include, _mixins.scss has some
variable definitions used in both files.
Many images have been made obsolete by this change and have been
removed.
To test, apply the patch and regenerate the staff client CSS. View
various pages in the staff client with tables:
- Not formatted by DataTables:
- Reports -> Most circulated items
- Catalog -> Search results
- Formatted by DataTables without column configuration
- Acquisitions -> Vendor search
- Lists
- Formatted by DataTables with column configuration
- Administration -> Libraries
- Administration -> Item types
- Reports -> Saved SQL reports
- Non-standard DataTables configurations:
- Circulation -> Checkouts
- Administration -> System preferences
- Reports -> Lost items

DataTables are used on enough pages in the staff client that it
doesn't make sense to put inclusion of the CSS into each template
where it is needed. This patch moves includes of datatables.css from
individual templates into the global header file.
To test, apply the patch and view various pages which have DataTables.
View various styles of DataTables, e.g.
- Full pagination, like item search results
- Four-button, like Saved SQL reports
Everything should look the same as it was.

This patch modifies the checkout notes template to help compliance with
coding guidelines and interface patterns:
- Convert to Bootstrap grid
- Improve DataTables configuration
- Put buttons into a toolbar and move above selection links
Also corrected: Minor markup error in circ-nav.inc
To test, apply the patch and enable the AllowCheckoutNotes system
preference. Add a few checkout notes via the OPAC.
- Go to Circulation -> Checkout notes.
- Confirm that the page looks correct at various browser widths.
- Confirm that the first and last columns of the table of notes are
not sortable.
- The table should be sorted by default by title.
- Title sorting should ignore articles "a," "an," and "the."
- Test with the CircSidebar preference both on and off.
- With CircSidebar turn on, the checkout notes menu item in the
left hand sidebar should show a count of checkout notes.

Here we go, next step then.
As we did not fix the performance issue when autofiltering
the variables (see bug 20975), the only solution we have is to add the
filters explicitely.
This patch has been autogenerated (using add_html_filters.pl, see next
pathces) and add the html filter to all the variables displayed in the
template.
Exceptions are made (using the new 'raw' TT filter) to the variable we
already listed in the previous versions of this patch.
To test:
- Use t/db_dependent/Koha/Patrons.t to populate your DB with autogenerated
data which contain <script> tags
- Remove them from borrower_debarments.comments (there are allowed here)
update borrower_debarments set comment="html tags possible here";
- From the interface hit page and try to catch alert box.
If you find one it means you find a possible XSS.
To know where it comes from:
* note the exact URL where you found it
* note the alert box content
* Dump your DB and search for the string in the dump to identify its
location (for instance table.field)
Next:
* Ideally we would like to use the raw filter when it is not necessary
to HTML escape the variables (in big loop for instance)
* Provide a QA script to catch missing filters (we want html, uri, url
or raw, certainly others that I am forgetting now)
* Replace the html filters with uri when needed (!)

3. In the JS console: "ReferenceError: $ is not defined", I did not
investigate it.
Where do you see this in the console? I cannot recreate on opac-user.pl
or on circ/checkout-notes.pl.
5. The alert id=error is displayed then hide in JS, but it's then
displayed half a second. We should hide it by default (css)
Fixed in this patch
6. I would move the "mark seen" and "mark not seen" buttons at the
top of the table
Fixed in this patch
8. Cursor on "Select all" and "Clear all" links must be adjusted
Fixed in this patch
9. $(".btn-xs").click(function(event){
The selector should be $("button.seen, button.notseen"), you
do not want to apply this function to all other btn-xs on
the page (maybe there are only two for now, but who knows
later?)
Fixed in this patch
12. Important: When a note is updated, it's still marked as
seen. Is it the expected behavior?
I don't see this behaviour. When a note is updated it is
marked as not seen.
opav/svc/checkout_notes:79: $issue->set({ notedate =>
dt_from_string(), note => $clean_note, noteseen => 0
})->store;
13. What will happen when hundred of notes will be on this
table? Not blocker but we will need a "hide seen" buttons to
filters the already seen notes.

Marcel, can you please have a look at this patch. I tried to implement
the change
my @notes = $schema->resultset('Issue')->search({ 'me.note' => { '!=', undef } }, { prefetch => [ 'borrower', { item => 'biblionumber' } ] });
to
my @notes = Koha::Checkouts->search({ 'me.note' => { '!=', undef } }, { prefetch => [ 'borrower', { item => 'biblionumber' } ] });
but am having problems on the template side. I can access the item and
biblio information about the issue, but not the borrower information,
even though the query is definitely pulling it correctly. Any
suggestions or ideas as to why this breaks?

This patch adds a user permission for managing issue notes, and a 'noteseen'
column to the issues table.
To test:
1) Apply Bug 14224 first
2) Apply this patch, update database, rebuild schema.
3) Restart koha-common and memcached
4) Turn on AllowCheckoutNotes syspref if haven't already
5) Issue two items to two different users (one item each)
6) Log into the OPAC as one of the users and add an issue note to their
issue
7) Log out and log back into the OPAC as the other user
8) Disable Javascript
9) Refresh opac-user.pl
10) Leave a checkout note on their issue
11) Enable javascript and log into the Staff Client as a superlibrarian
user
12) Go to your user's account and edit their permissions to have
everything ticked EXCEPT circulate->manage checkout notes.
13) Go to main intranet page. There should be no message saying
'checkout notes pending'.
14) Go to circulation home page. There should be no link to Checkout notes.
15) Go back to user's permissions and tick circulate->manage checkout notes.
16) Go back to main intranet page. There should now be a message at the
bottom saying 'Checkout notes pending: 2'
17) Go to circulation home page. There should be a link to Checkout notes
with a 2 next to it. Click this link
18) Attempt to mark an checkout note as seen. This should update the status
of the checkout note to 'seen' and disable to 'mark as seen' button while
enabling the 'mark as not seen' button.
19) Test both buttons with both issues.
20) Test select all and clear all buttons
21) Confirm that buttons at the bottom are only enabled if a checkbox is
checked
22) Try selecting both issues and using the buttons at the bottom to
mark multiple issue notes at once.
23) Confirm the barcode link to the item works as expected.
24) Confirm the cardnumber link to the user works as expected.
25) Confirm all table details show correctly.
