946cbf71a7 Bug 15150: Make t/ tests skip if Test::DBIx::Class absent
Tests in t/ should always pass for building the Debian packages
for Koha. But we've started using Test::DBIx::Class for writing
mocked tests, and that lib is not (yet) packaged fro Debian 7+.

This means build is failing. Devs and jenkins use the lib from CPAN.

This patch makes the tests skip if the lib is absent.

To test:
- Install Test::DBIx::Class
  $ sudo cpanm Test::DBIx::Class
- Run the tests:
  $ prove t/
=> SUCCESS: Tests pass
- Uninstall Test::DBIx::Class
  $ sudo cpan -U Test::DBIx::Class
- Run the tests:
  $ prove t/
=> SUCCESS: Tests still pass (those needing the lib are skipped)
- Sign off :-D

1976ec2020 Bug 11742: Change return type for GetLetters
The GetLetters subroutine should return an arrayref with different
letters for a module.

Test plan:
0/ Delete your notices with module=claimacquisition, claimissues,
serial
1/ Go on the late orders page (acqui/lateorders.pl) and verify you
cannot choose a notice for claiming
2/ Create a notice with module=claimacquisition
3/ Go on the late orders page (acqui/lateorders.pl) and verify you
can choose the notice for claiming
4/ Go on the Claim serials page (serials/claims.pl) and repeat the same
thing with the a "claimissues" notice
5/ Create a new subscription (serials/subscription-add.pl) and verify
you cannot choose a notification for patrons.
6/ Create a notice with module "serial" and verify you can.

Passes all tests and QA script. Additional tests done:

- copy notice ODUE, on saving you are now prompted to choose
  a new CODE for the notice
- edit new notice, try to set code back to ODUE. You are
  prompted that the code is already in use.

This will prevent people from accidentally overwriting a letter
with the same letter code.

a9b564678e Bug 10843: fix crash that can occur when confirming hold if ReservesMaxPickUpDelay is undefined
Test plan:
1) set an empty string for the ReservesMaxPickUpDelay pref
2) place a hold on an item
3) check in the item
4) click on "Print and confirm"
5) an error occurs
> The 'days' parameter (undef) to DateTime::Duration::new was an 'undef'
6) apply the patch
7) repeat steps 1 to 4
8) the error does not occur anymore.

An empty string didn't do it for me, I had to set the
variable for the systempreference to NULL. I am not sure
if this can happen when editing from the interface, but
this change should not have any ill side effects and it has
unit tests!

2189b88bb1 Bug 9486: t/Letters.t loads modules in wrong order
Because the unit test t/Letters.t loads C4::Letters before C4::Context,
and C4::Letters is not even vaguely thread-safe, the test tends to fail.
Usually. Moving the dbh mocking to before the use_ok('C4::Letters') test
fixes the problem.

To test:
1) Before applying patch, run `prove t/Letters.t` a few times. Note that
   it fails most of the time, if not all the time.
2) Apply patch.
3) Repeat step (1), noting that now it passes every time.

db755a4307 bug 2088: test suite refactoring to deal with t/override_context_prefs.pm
Some minor changes to get the test suite working a bit better:
I removed a superfluous method from t/lib/KohaTest.pm.
I made each barcode for the items added in KohaTest.pm unique so that they would actually get inserted.

Then, I removed t/override_context_prefs.pm. If you need that functionality, you're a database
dependent test and should be a module in t/lib.
So, I deleted all of the trivial .t tests that just 'use'd their modules and had no other
tests and replaced them with lib/KohaTest/*pm modules that do a little bit more checking
on those modules.
I removed the references to override_context_prefs.pm in all of the other .t modules.
They all pass now with no override_context_prefs.pm module.

The database_depenedent.pl test script still does not pass entirely. There's a problem with the zebra index
not being reset each time that the tables are truncated. I'll get to that.

no functional or documentation changes here.

5290ec5596 test suite cleanup
Many of the tests were failing or putting warnings
because a valid systempreferences table is
usaully absent by the time 'make test' is run.

Fortunately, only a few modules try to invoke
C4::Context->preference during module initialization,
so added to the test suite override_context_prefs.pm,
which replaces preference() with a sub to return
testing values for three variables: 'dateformat',
'marcflavour', and 'LibraryName'.

Also fixed bug in t/Boolean.t

With this patch and the patch to move the DB-dependent
tests off to the side for the moment, 'make test'
now runs cleanly, at least on Debian.

a1fe32d2f8 Total Test Overhaul! Most of these were stubs, and still are.
Input.t was replaced because it tested a now obsolete function.
Input.pm has that function commented out.
Several files were renamed to match their counterparts or
correct misspellingz.
