For MARC21 we need to set the following tags as mandatory:
CHRON_TERM => 148
CORPO_NAME => 110
GENRE/FORM => 155
GEOGR_NAME => 151
MEETI_NAME => 111
PERSO_NAME => 100
TOPIC_TERM => 150
UNIF_TITLE => 130
Note that it also fixes an error on the UI, which was initially reported
on bug 13775.
Test plan:
- Create a fresh install in the language of your choice.
- Confirm that when you create a new authority you cannot save without
entering a value for the main heading
- Edit marc record's field 648 -> chronological term
- Try to add there one by clicking a link on the left side of the field.
From there it opens me to a new window, click "Create a new authority"
Click on the authority creating fields randomly, save.
=> Without this patch an error occurred "Can't call method "subfields"
on an undefined value at authorities/blinddetail-biblio-search.pl line 88."

Field 01e comes from an older utility (RLIN) and does not belong here.
Note: It is the only non-numeric field tag in Koha. And it seems to be
an violation of the MARC standard.

This patch removes the assignment of non-existent koha field
'bibliosubject.subject' to MARC subject fields in the installer data
for koha
To test:
You'll want a new fresh db
1 - Apply patch
2 - Run websintaller
3 - Ensure that thigns go smoothly
4 - Add/delete/edit some records and ensure that things are working with
the installed frameworks

In the upgrade from 2.2 to 3.0 (some time ago already) the table
additionalauthors has been dropped. Unfortunately, a reference to this
table has not been removed from the MARC framework installer files.
This patch clears kohafield for 700$a or 200$g in 32 installer files.
Note: The reference to additionalauthors in field kohafield is silently
ignored in AddBiblio/ModBiblio since the routines _koha_add_biblio,
_koha_add_biblioitem, _koha_modify_biblio and
_koha_modify_biblioitem_nonmarc simply do not use it. You can define a
Koha to MARC mapping for a biblio/biblioitem field but if the field is not
referenced in one of those routines, nothing happens..
Also note that C4::Items::_koha_modify_item does not hardcode all fields
and will respond to a new item mapping.
Test plan:
[1] Run a new install or verify somehow that the change to these sql files
is correct.
The change is a result of: sed -i -e "s/'additionalauthors.author'/''/g"

This patch updates the sql installer files for new installations.
Occurrences to the three plugins marc21_field_003, 040c and 040d are
replaced by marc21_orgcode.pl.
This has been generated by one sed statement.
Test plan:
[1] Run a new installation or run some of the changed sql files manually.
[2] Verify that marc21_orgcode is linked to fields previously linked to
the three old plugins.
[3] Do a git grep on the three plugin file names. No occurrences expected.

Have tested the three english sql files:
authorities_normal_marc21.sql: 18 rows with marc21_orgcode (003 and 040a
for 9 auth codes)
marc21_framework_DEFAULT.sql: 1 row with marc21_orgcode (003) -- this patch
does not add them to 040c or 040d; no behavior change..
marc21_simple_bib_frameworks.sql: 8 rows (003 for 8 frameworks)

To Test
---------
1) Apply the patch
2) Export some MARC bibliographic records from Koha
3) Import those same MARC bibliographic records using the
"ISSN(022$a)" record matching rule.
4) The incoming records should match perfectly
5) Check the mysql tables (marc_matchers, matchpoints,
matcher_matchpoints, matchpoint_components,
matchpoint_component_norms) to make sure the values were
inserted as expected.
For new Koha installation
1) create the koha database
2) Go to the staff client page, and do a "fresh" install making
sure to select lots of optional marc 21 matching rules so
the .../marc21/optional/marc21_default_matching_rules.sql
gets triggered.
3) Check the mysql tables (marc_matchers, matchpoints,
matcher_matchpoints, matchpoint_components,
matchpoint_component_norms) to make sure the values were
inserted as expected.

Patch removes the 'isUrl' attribute from all 240$a fields in the various
frameworks. The change removes the broken link from the staff detail
MARC tab view.
Changes are a little easier to spot with: git diff --color-words HEAD^

942$e is mapped to biblioitems.cn_edition, which doesn't exist and
to an authorized value CN_EDITION, which doesn't exist either.
Patch removes the wrong mapping and non-existing auth value from
the frameworks.

- git diff --color-words HEAD^ is helpful
- Check all mappings are changed and SQL is still valid

No koha-qa errors.

It works, doesn't break anything, seems to be in Ukrainian/Russian (I can't
judge).
It's a huge patch (21M). That's why it's attached as a bz2 archive: so the
archive must be downloaded, decompressed, and then applied.
General remark: Adding this patch to Koha will increase substantially Koha git
repository size. It shows that non-code files (.po files, SQL files)
could/should be managed outside Koha core repository. See this discussion:
http://wiki.koha-community.org/wiki/Git_Splitting_and_Shrinking
Here is my test plan:
[1] Apply the patch on master
[2] Install ru-RU and uk-UA languages:
cd misc/translator
./translate ru-RU uk-UA
[3] re-create Koha DB:
DROP DATABASE koha;
CREATE DATABASE koha;
[4] Load Koha pro interface: get web installer
[5] Choose ru-RU language
[6] Everything is in Russian. Click blindly on button until reaching the
page where to choose Unimarc/Marc21.
[7] Choose Unimarc.
[8] Tick on everything to load all UNIMARC SQL files.
[9] All SQL are loaded without any error.
[10] Check Koha cataloguing.
[11] Go to [3] and choose Marc21 at step [7].
[12] Go to [3] and choose uk-UA at step [5].
[13] Go to [3] and choose uk-UA at step [5] and Marc21 at step [7].
