addbiblio.tt throws the '$(...).flatpickr is not a function' because it
is missing includes to flatpickr.min.js and shortcut-buttons-flatpickr.min.js
To fix this the addbiblio.tt should include the calendar.inc file (like
additem.tt does) which includes to those aforementioned JS files.
Test plan:
1. Edit a MARC bibliographic framework
2. Make the 902$d subfield visible in the Editor
3. Also set the 902$d subfield plugin='dateaccessioned.pl'
4. Catalogue a new biblio record
5. Notice the 902$d subfield has not been pre-populated with todays date
6. Right click, choose 'Inspect', observe this JS error in the console: "Uncaught
TypeError: $(...).flatpickr is not a function"
7. Apply patch, and restart services
8. Repeat steps 4-6 and this time observe the 902$d is pre-populated,
and there is no flatpickr JS error in the console

This patch fxes the cataloguing validation messages to show the correct tag, when the whole field is important (not just a subfield).
Note: Look at Bug 30159 to fix the formatting of the validation popup.
1. Go to Administration -> MARC bibliographic frameworks
2. Click Actions next to a framework, view MARC structure
3. Edit multiple tags (at least 2) and check the Important checkbox.
4. Go to cataloguing and create a new record using the framework you just edited
5. Don't fill any of the important fields. Click Save to force the validation for the important tags
6. Notice that the error message shows that an important field isn't filled, but the tag number shown is repeated for each message. The 'Go to field' link goes to the right tag, but the tag number shown is incorrect.
7. Apply patch and refresh page
8. Click Save to force validation again.
9. Confirm the correct tag number is now showing for each error message.

In validating the basic MARC editor form before submission, we run
AreFieldsNotOk() twice (once with the parameter "false") and concatenate
the result for output. This creates the potential for the error string
to be appended with "0" if AreFieldsNotOk() returns false.
This patch improves the logic around building the error string.
To test, apply the patch and make sure one of your MARC frameworks
contains at least one mandatory field and at least one important field.
- Edit or create a MARC record in the basic MARC editor.
- Submit the form in various states of completion:
- If a mandatory and an important field are empty, you should see two
error messages at the top. "The following mandatory subfields aren't
filled" and "The following important subfields aren’t filled."
- If a mandatory OR an important field is empty, you should see a
single message.
- If it's the important field which is empty, a confirmation will
ask if you want to save the record anyway. Test that both answers
to this confirmation work correctly.
- If no mandatory or important fields are empty the form should
submit.

This patch modifies the way Koha sets cookies so that the "sameSite"
attribute is explicitly set to "Lax." This option is chosen because it
is the value which is currently assumed by browsers when the sameSite
attribute is not set.
To test, apply the patch and restart services.
- Log in to the staff interface and open your browser's developer tools.
- In Firefox, look for a "Storage" tab.
- In Chrome, look for an "Application" tab.
- Under "Cookies," click the URL of the staff interface.
- You should see all the cookies which are set for that domain.
- The CGISESSID cookie should have sameSite set to "Lax."
- Go to Cataloging -> New record.
- Check the "marcdocs" and "marctags" cookies.
- Switch to the Advanced MARC editor (you may need to enable
theEnableAdvancedCatalogingEditor preference).
- Check the "catalogue_editor" cookie.
- Add a new item to an existing bibliographic record.
- Check the "LastCreatedItem" cookie which is set after you save the
new item.
- Go to Authorities -> Authority search.
- In authority search results, click "Merge" from the "Actions" menu
next to one of the results..
- Check the "auth_to_merge" cookie.
- Go to Administration -> MARC bibliographic framework
- Choose "MARC structure" from the menu corresponding to one of the
frameworks.
- Check the "Display only used tags/subfields" checkbox.
- Check the "marctagstructure_selectdisplay" cookie.
- Go to Circulation -> Check out to a patron with checkouts.
- Check the "Always show checkouts immediately" checkbox.
- Check the "issues-table-load-immediately-circulation" cookie.
- Go to Tools -> Patron clubs. You will need at least one active club
with one or more patrons enrolled.
- From the list of clubs, click Actions -> Search to hold.
- Check the "holdforclub" cookie.

This patch modifies the basic cataloging interface so that form
validation errors are collected in a static "dialog" at the top of the
page instead of showing in a transient JavaScript alert.
The text of the message is roughly the same as it was in the alert, and
links have been added so that the user can click to jump directly to the
field referenced.
If the user scrolls down away from the static error message, a button
appears in the floating toolbar to jump back to the message.
To test, apply the patch and rebuild the staff interface CSS
(https://wiki.koha-community.org/wiki/Working_with_SCSS_in_the_OPAC_and_staff_client).
- Go to Cataloging and create a new record using the basic cataloging
editor and a framework which has multiple mandatory fields defined
(e.g. an unmodified default framework)
- Without entering anything in mandatory fields, click the "Save"
button.
- You should see a message box appear at the top of the page.
- It should list each missing mandatory subfield and tag, each with a
"Go to field" link next to it.
- Clicking the "Go to field" link should switch you to the correct tab
and scroll the mandatory field into view.
- When you have scrolled down far enough for the error messages to be
offscreen, an "Errors" button should appear in the floating toolbar.
Clicking it should scroll the box back into view.
- The JS function for scrolling to a particular element on the screen
has been modified, so test that the links in the toolbar for
individual tags still work correctly.

This patch removes the "size" attribute from <select> tags where the
value of the attribute is 1. The attribute is unnecessary because the
default value when the attribute is undefined is 1.
This will allow for more careful sizing of <select> tags without a size
attribute while preserving the desired behavior of <select> tags which

This patch changes the default width paramter passed to the
select2 plugin. This allows the basic MARC editor's Select2
widgets to be styled differently than on other pages.
To test, apply the patch and view various pages where the select2 plugin
is used:
- Basic MARC editor
- Items edit
- Batch item edit
- Authority editor
In each case check that the Select2 plugin works correctly to style
fields like collection code and home library.
On the basic MARC editor page these <select>s should have a width
that adjusts as the browser window changes. On other pages the width
should be fixed.
Check the browser console and confirm that there are no JavaScript
errors.

This patch makes markup and style changes to the basic MARC editor in
order to improve the page's handling of smaller browser widths. It adds
flexbox styling to elements of the form to help accomplish this.
To test, apply the patch and load a record for editing in the basic MARC
editor.
- Adjust your browser width and confirm that the form adjusts well
to various widths.
- Test that the markup changes haven't broken the JavaScript-driven
features in the editor:
- Clone tags
- Delete tags
- Expand and collapse tags
- Clone subfields
- Delete subfields
- Re-order subfields
- Cataloging plugins:
- Focus-driven plugins like on tag 000
- Popup plugins like 008 or authority-linked tags
- Select2-styled dropdowns (e.g. 942$c Item type).
- Test the add/edit items form to confirm that it is still styled as it
was before.
Edit: The Select2 plugin JavaScript file now accepts a variable to set
the "width" configuration option. It still defaults to "element."

- Edit the "u" subfield and select "upload.pl" as the plugin under
"Other options."
- Go to Cataloging and create or edit a MARC record.
- Under tab 8 look for the 856 tag, subfield u. There should be an
"Upload" link corresponding to the form field.
- Click the upload link to confirm that it triggers a popup window with
the upload form.

* Click the dropdown list and start searching for a value that does not

* Click enter
* Fill the fields in the popup
* Save

editor for setting two interface preferences: Showing MARC tag numbers
and showing MARC documentation links.
To test, apply the patch and open the basic MARC editor.
- From the "Settings" menu, select the "Show MARC tag documentation

MARC tag descriptions.
- Reload the page to confirm that your selection has been saved.
- Perform the same test with the "Show tags" menu item.
You can also follow the changes to the cookie using the browser's
developer console. Look for cookies named 'marcdocs_***' and
'marctags_***' (where *** is the borrowernumber of the logged-in

Merges "AreMandatoriesNotOk" and new "AreImportantsNotOk" into one
function "AreFieldsNotOk". It can search for mandatory or important
fields depending on the value of it's boolean "mandatory"
parameter.
To test:
This patch should not change current behavior.
Follow the test plan from previous patch and check that saving is
still prevented for unfilled mandatory fields.

This fix permits to add an "Important" option to the marc structure pages.
Testing:
1) Apply the patch
2) Run updatedatabase.pl
3) Regenerate CSS
4) Define 100 as an "important" field ( Administration » MARC bibliographic framework » MARC structure ( Default Frameword) » Edit )
5) Define 100$a as an "important" subfield (Administration » MARC bibliographic framework » MARC structure (Default Frameword) » Subfield » Onglet a)
6) Edit a record to clear the field 100 (subfields are all blank)
7) Save the record.
8) Validate the following message:
A few important fields are not filled:
* tag 100 subfield a Nom de personne in tab
* Field 100 is important, at least one of its subfields should be filled.
Are you sure you want to save?

This patch take the contents of the JavaScript in browser-strings.inc
and puts it in strings.inc. browser-strings.inc is deleted.
To test, apply the patch and perform a catalog search in the staff
client.
- View any result. In the left-hand sidebar there should be a search
results browser box with "previous" and "next" arrows and a link back
to search results.
- Click on each different "view" tab and confirm that the search
results navigation box persists: Normal, MARC, Labeled MARC, ISBD,
Items.
- From any of these views select Edit -> Edit items. The same
navigation box should appear.
Note: addbiblio.tt and stockrotation.tt are modified but feature doesn't
currently work on those pages.

This patch adds more specificity to handling of MARC21 documentation
links in the basic MARC editor.
To test, apply the patch and make sure the "advancedMARCeditor" system
preference is set to "Display."
You may need to edit a bibliographic framework so that 09x, 59x, and 69x
tags will display in the editor.
Edit or create a bibliographic record using that framework. Next to each
tag label in the editor should be a "?" link. Clicking this link should
open a new window with the correct Library of Congress documentation
page.
Check the links for 09x, 59x, and 69x tags as well as others to confirm
they open the correct pages.

This follow-up modifies the CSS for the sortable fields so that a
different icon is used. Elsewhere in Koha (stock rotation stage sorting)
we use the "bars" icon to indicate a sortable element. I think it would
be good to continue to use this. The cursor is now styled as a "Move"
cursor.
The configuration of the sortable function in the script has been
updated in two ways: 1. The movement of the element is constrained along
the y-axis, and 2. The movement of the element is contstrained to the
container within which it can be moved (for the tag, the tab, and for
the subfield, the tag).
To test, apply the patch and edit a MARC record in the basic cataloging
editor.
Confirm that the new icon is used, and that the "Move" cursor shows when
you hover over the icon.
Confirm that a tag can be dragged up and down within the constraints of
the visible section. A subfield should be only movable within its parent
tag.

Use jQueryUI sortable to make fields and subfields moveable in the
MARC editor for both records and authorities.
This patch convert items from div's to ul's and consequently alter css
and js to match. It also replace the up arrow with a more adapted icon
(from font awesome).
Primary authorship by Elliott Davis.
To Test:
1. Add or edit a record in cataloguing module.
2. You should be able to move the fields and subfields around.
- You can click on any part of the element to drag it, the move
icon to the left of the item is a good place to do it.
=> You can only change the order of fields of the same tag.
3. Make sure all of the javascript driven fonctionnality still work :
- Duplicate fields/subfields
- Remove fields/subfields
- Using the tag editor for control fields or to link authorities
- etc
4. Reorder some fields/subfields and save the record.
5. Edit the record again.
6. The order in the editor should match the changes which were saved.
- Empty subfields should appear after the ones with content.
7. Repeat steps 1-6 with the authority editor.

This patch modifies several templates in order to eliminate the
dependency on an image file for styling certain links which open popups
or new windows. A Font Awesome icon is used instead.
To test, apply the patch and rebuild the staff client CSS
(https://wiki.koha-community.org/wiki/Working_with_SCSS_in_the_OPAC_and_staff_client).
Cataloging:
- Create a new MARC record which has the same ISBN as a record in your
catalog.
- When you save the record it should warn you that it is a possible
duplicate. The message should contain an icon-prefixed link to the
existing record.
- Clicking the link should open details about the title in a new
window.
Circulation:
- Enable the itemBarcodeFallbackSearch system preference.
- Open a patron for checkout and enter a word in the "barcode" field
instead of a barcode.
- The page should return a list of titles to choose from. Each title
should be a link with an icon. Clicking the link should open details
about the title in a new window.
Acquisitions:
- Go to Acquistisions -> Vendor -> Basket.
- Choose "Add to basket" -> From an external source.
- Search for and select a record which exists in your catalog.
- You should be taken to a page with a "Duplicate warning" message. The
message should contain an icon-prefixed link to the existing record.
- Clicking this link should open details about the title in a new
window.
- Create a MARC file with two records: One which exists in your catalog
and one which doesn't. Stage that file for import.
- Choose "Add to basket" again and select "From a staged file."
- Select the file you staged.
- You should be taken to a page with a "Duplicate warning" message. The
message should contain an icon-prefixed link to the existing record.
- Clicking the link should open details about the title in a new
window.
Patrons:
- Create a new patron which has the same name and birthday as an
existing patron.
- When you save the record you should be shown a duplicate warning. The
link to the possible duplicate patron should be prefixed with an icon
and should open the patron's details in a popup window.

Bug 22045 made changes to the global staff client JavaScript which
broken keyboard navigation for the most common forms in the resident
search form("Check out, Check in, Renew, Search). This patch
reimplements the tab selection code on the basic MARC editor page so
that the keyboard shortcut behavior can be restored.
To test, apply the patch go to Cataloging.
- Search for an existing record and edit it in the basic MARC editor.
- Test that the numbered tabs (0-9) at the top work correctly.
- Select a tab other than 0 and choose Save -> Save and continue
editing. When the page reloads you should be returned to the tab you
were on when you saved.
- Go to the Circulation home page. Test the keyboard shortcuts for
switching tabs in header area:
- Alt-u (Check out)
- Alt-r (Check in)
- Alt-w (Renew)
- Alt-q (Search)

addbiblio.tt: Tabs converted to spaces, indentation corrected. Some
comments have been added in the markup to clarify the page structure.
To test, apply the patch and open the basic MARC editor. Confirm that
everything works correctly, including:
- Showing/hiding subfields
- Re-ordering subfields
- Removing tags and subfields
- Cloning tags and subfields
- Plugin links

Edit a bibliographic record
Notice that the icons next to fields linked with a plugin can be a link
or not. The browser displays a pointer or not.
It will remove the ambiguity to display an icon that is clickable but
does nothing when clicked.
We could also have another icon to disociate both behaviors.
