Bug 26718: Rename "reading history" to "checkout history"
This changes all occurences of reading history to the more accurate term 'checokut history' as it was correctly pointed out that 'reading' doesn't apply to all kind of items available at the library (audio books, games, etc.) To test: - Verify that the term reding history has been replaced by checkout history in: - System preferences - OPAC tab "your checkout history" - OPAC tab "your privacy" (switch OpacPrivacy pref first) - Staff permission for patron batch anonymization Signed-off-by: Barbara Johnson <barbara.johnson@bedfordtx.gov> Signed-off-by: Martin Renvoize <martin.renvoize@ptfs-europe.com> Signed-off-by: Jonathan Druart <jonathan.druart@bugs.koha-community.org> |

Bug 20168: Update of the OPAC bootstrap template to bootstrap v4
This patch updates the version of Bootstrap in the OPAC from 2.3.1 to 4.5.0. The Bootstrap JavaScript files have been replaced with custom builds of the 4.5.0 JavaScript source files. The Bootstrap CSS is now built into the OPAC CSS by loading the required Bootstrap 4.5.0 SCSS files in node_modules. OPAC SCSS now starts with Bootstrap customizations: /* Bootstrap variable customizations */ $headings-color: #727272; ... Followed by loading the necessary Bootstrap SCSS files: /* Bootstrap imports */ @import "../../../../../node_modules/bootstrap/scss/functions"; @import "../../../../../node_modules/bootstrap/scss/variables"; ... Followed by our CSS. The build process for generating compiled CSS now creates a file which bundles Bootstrap CSS and ours. Removed from the Koha source: Bootstrap CSS files, Bootstrap "glyphicons" images. The upgrade to Bootstrap 4 involved a lot of markup changes to conform with new Bootstrap classes, especially in classes related to the grid. Besides duplicating the grid we used before, this upgrade adds some new features made possible by Bootstrap 4.5's use of flexbox as a layout tool. This includes custom ordering of columns based on class names: https://getbootstrap.com/docs/4.5/layout/grid/#order-classes. Other areas where the most changes have been made: Navigation menus, breadcrumb menus, buttons, dropdowns. Bootstrap's JavaScript file is now "bootstrap.bundle.min.js" to reflect the fact that a required JavaScript asset is now distributed separately in Bootstrap 4. The "bundle" version includes Popper.js. Unrelated changes: Indentation corrections, removal of invalid "//" markers, removal of invalid script type attributes. To test, apply the patch and run 'yarn install' to install Bootstrap as an npm module. Run 'yarn build --view opac' to regenerate the OPAC CSS. Test as many aspect of the OPAC as possible, viewing pages at various browser widths to confirm that everything adjusts well. Test with various OPAC interface system preferences enabled and disabled. Test self checkout and self checkin. Known issues: RTL support has not been updated. Bug 22672: Change to and to in templates, includes, xslt

Bug 14570: Make it possible to add multiple guarantors to a record
This patch adds the ability to set an unlimited number of guarantors for a given patron. As before, each guarantor may be linked to another Koha patron, and all the behavior that applies to a given guarantor remains the same. Test Plan: 1) Apply this patch 2) Run updatedatabase.pl 3) Find some patrons with guarantors, verify the still have their guarantor 4) Test adding and removing guarantors on a patron record, both Koha users and not 5) Verify the "Add child" button works 6) Verify NoIssuesChargeGuarantees still works 7) Verify tools/cleanborrowers.pl will not delete a guarantor 8) Verify the guarantors are displayed on moremember.pl 9) Verify the guarantor is removed by members/update-child.pl 10) Verify the guarantor is removed by misc/cronjobs/j2a.pl 11) Verify import patrons converts guarantor_id, relationship, contactfirstname, and contactsurname into a guarantor 12) prove t/Patron.t 13) prove t/db_dependent/Circulation.t 14) prove t/db_dependent/Circulation/NoIssuesChargeGuarantees.t 15) prove t/db_dependent/Items.t 16) prove t/db_dependent/Koha/Patrons.t 17) prove t/db_dependent/Members.t 18) prove t/db_dependent/Patron/Relationships.t Signed-off-by: Kim Peine <kmpeine@gmail.com> Signed-off-by: Kyle M Hall <kyle@bywatersolutions.com> Signed-off-by: Agustin Moyano <agustinmoyano@theke.io> Signed-off-by: Liz Rea <wizzyrea@gmail.com> Signed-off-by: Tomas Cohen Arazi <tomascohen@theke.io> Signed-off-by: Martin Renvoize <martin.renvoize@ptfs-europe.com> |

Bug 13618: Add html filters to all the variables
Here we go, next step then. As we did not fix the performance issue when autofiltering the variables (see bug 20975), the only solution we have is to add the filters explicitely. This patch has been autogenerated (using add_html_filters.pl, see next pathces) and add the html filter to all the variables displayed in the template. Exceptions are made (using the new 'raw' TT filter) to the variable we already listed in the previous versions of this patch. To test: - Use t/db_dependent/Koha/Patrons.t to populate your DB with autogenerated data which contain tags - Remove them from borrower_debarments.comments (there are allowed here) update borrower_debarments set comment="html tags possible here"; - From the interface hit page and try to catch alert box. If you find one it means you find a possible XSS. To know where it comes from: * note the exact URL where you found it * note the alert box content * Dump your DB and search for the string in the dump to identify its location (for instance table.field) Next: * Ideally we would like to use the raw filter when it is not necessary to HTML escape the variables (in big loop for instance) * Provide a QA script to catch missing filters (we want html, uri, url or raw, certainly others that I am forgetting now) * Replace the html filters with uri when needed (!) Bug 20363: (bug 16966 follow-up) better messages handling
User views the "Your privacy" -page, it shows "No reading history to delete", even when the user has history. Test plan: - Turn OPACPrivacy on - Go to opac-privacy.pl - Click the "Immediate deletion button" to delete the reading history => If the patron has reading history you must get "Your reading history has been deleted." Bug 16966: Koha::Patrons - Move GetBorrowersWithIssuesHistoryOlderThan to search_patrons_to_anonymise
The C4::Members::GetBorrowersWithIssuesHistoryOlderThan subroutine is supposed to return the patrons with an issue history older than a given date. It would make more sense to return a list of Koha::Patrons. On the way, the code from AnonymiseIssueHistory will be moved as well to anonymise_issue_history. Note that these 2 subroutines are strongly linked: one is used to know the number of patrons we will anonymise the history, the other one is used to anonymise the issues history. The problem is that the first one is not used to do the action, but only for displayed purpose. In some cases, these 2 values can differ, which could be confusing. Case 1: The logged in librarian is not superlibrarian and IndependentBranches is set: if 2+ patrons from different libraries match the date parameter, the interface will display "Checkout history for 2 patrons will be anonymized", when actually only 1 will be. Case 2: If 2+ patrons match the date parameter but one of them has his privacy set to forever (privacy=0), the same issue will appear. This patch moves the code from C4::Members::GetBorrowersWithIssuesHistoryOlderThan to Koha::Patrons->search_patrons_to_anonymise and from C4::Circulation::AnonymiseIssueHistory to Koha::Patrons->anonymise_issue_history Test plan: 1/ Confirm the 2 issues and make sure they are fixed using the Batch patron anonymization tool (tools/cleanborrowers.pl) 2/ At the OPAC, use the 'Immediate deletion' button to delete all your reading history (regardless the setting of the privacy rule) 3/ Use the cronjob script (misc/cronjobs/batch_anonymise.pl) to anonymise patrons. Bug 14945 - Add the ability to store the last patron to return an item
Currently if the AnonymousPatron system preference is in use, all patron data is anonymized. Some libraries would like to be able to see the last patron who returned out an item ( in case of damage ) but still keep all other patrons anonymized. * Add the table items_last_borrower ( id, itemnumber, borrowernumber ) * Add new system preference StoreLastBorrower * If StoreLastBorrower is enabled, upon checkin have Koha insert into this table the patron who last returned this item. Replace existing row based on itemnumber if exists. * If table has a row for a given item, link to the patron from the item details page. Test plan: 1) Apply patch 2) Run updatedatabase.pl 3) Enable StoreLastBorrower 4) Issue an item to a patron and return said item 5) Issue the same item to a second patron, do not return it. 6) View moredetail.pl for the given bib, find the given item. There should be a new field in the history list 'Last returned by' with a link to the last patron to return the item. Optionally, you can also verify this works even if patron issuing history has been set to anonymize issues upon return. Bug 12162 - Add class="branchcode" to body tag to make OPAC CSS-styleable per branch
This patch adds a branch sepecific class to all OPAC pages. Example: If not logged in, opac-main.pl displays:
If logged in at branch FFL, it displays:
If you log in, opac-user.pl should display
To test: 1) Apply patch. 2) Add to syspref OPACUserCSS something highly visible, e.g. for branch FFL: .branch-FFL { background-color: yellow; border: 10px solid red; } 3) Go to OPAC and login in with a user with home branch FFL 4) Verify that colors change as appropriate. 5) Log out. Verify that colors display as before or as defined in class branch-default in OPACUserCSS 6) Display patch in patch diff view, verify that ids and classes in body tag are consistent with params bodyid and bodyclass in INCLUDE line 7) Search for regressions Signed-off-by: Martin Renvoize <martin.renvoize@ptfs-europe.com> Signed-off-by: Jonathan Druart <jonathan.druart@biblibre.com> Signed-off-by: Tomas Cohen Arazi <tomascohen@gmail.com> |

Bug 10309 - New OPAC theme based on Bootstrap
The goal of this theme is to provide a fully-responsive OPAC which offers a high level of functionality across multiple devices with varied viewport sizes. Its style is based on the CCSR theme, with elements of the Bootstrap framework providing default styling of buttons, menus, modals, etc. The Bootstrap grid is used everywhere, but Bootstrap's default responsive breakpoints have been expanded to allow for better flexibility for our needs. All non-translation-depended files are in the root directory of this new theme: css, images, itemtypeimg, js, less, and lib. Languages.pm has been modified to ignore the new directories when parsing the theme language directories. This theme introduces the use of LESS (http://lesscss.org/) to build CSS. Three LESS files can be found in the "less" directory: mixins.less, opac.less, and responsive.less. These three files are compiled into one CSS file for production: opac.css. "Base" theme styles are found in opac.less. A few "mixins" (http://lesscss.org/#-mixins) are found in mixins.less. Any CSS which is conditional on specific media queries is found in responsive.less. At the template level some general sturctural changes have been made. For the most part JavaScript is now at the end of each template as is recommended for performance reasons. JavaScript formerly in doc-head-close.inc is now in opac-bottom.inc. In order to be able to maintain this structure and accommodate page-specific scripts at the same time the use of BLOCK and PROCESS are added. By default opac-bottom.inc will PROCESS a "jsinclude" block: [% PROCESS jsinclude %] Each page template in the theme must contain this block, even if it is empty: [% BLOCK jsinclude %][% END %] Pages which require that page-specific JavaScript be inserted can add it to the jsinclude block and it will appear correctly at the bottom of the rendered page. The same is true for page-specific CSS. Each page contains a cssinclude block: [% BLOCK cssinclude %][% END %] ...which is processed in doc-head-close.inc: [% PROCESS cssinclude %] Using these methods helps us maintain a strict separation of CSS links and blocks (at the top of each page) and JavaScript (at the bottom). A few exceptions are made for some JavaScript which must be processed sooner: respond.js (https://github.com/scottjehl/Respond, conditionally applied to Internet Explorer versions < 9 to allow for layout responsiveness), the _() function required for JS translatability, and Modernizr (http://modernizr.com/, a script which detects browser features and allows us to conditionally load JavaScript based on available features--or lack thereof). Another new JavaScript dependency in this theme is enquire.js (http://wicky.nillia.ms/enquire.js/), which lets us trigger JavaScript events based on viewport size. I have made an effort to re-indent the templates in a sane way, eliminating trailing spaces and tabs. However, I have not wrapped lines at a specific line length. In order to improve template legibility I have also tried to insert comments indicating the origin of closing tags like
or template directives like [% END %]:
[% END # / IF ( OpacBrowseResults && busc ) %] TESTING Proper testing of this theme is no easy task: Every template has been touched. Each page should work reasonable well at a variety of screen dimensions. Pages should be tested under many conditions which are controlled by toggling OPAC system preferences on and off. A variety of devices, platforms, and browsers should be tested. Signed-off-by: Galen Charlton <gmc@esilibrary.com> |
