Card printers with duplex functionality need as input a PDF file where odd pages contain
the front side and even pages the back side of the cards.
This patch adds such functionality.
To prepare test:
- In Patron card creator > Templates, prepare a 1 up template (1 column / 1 row) that
fits to a single card. Give it a name like 'Duplex card template'
(Attention, Card with and Card height seem to have wrong labels, that will go
to a separate bug).
- In Patron card creator > Layouts create a layout for the front side and one for
the back side. Give them names to easily remember (Card front layout, Card back layout)
- Go to Patron card creator > Batches and test both layouts together with the
1 up template. Save and keepp both test files as reference.
To test:
- Apply patch. Restart memcached and plack.
- Go to Patron card creator > Batches
- Click "Export" for a batch
- In the following screen, note the new field "Select a layout for the back side"
with a hint what it is used for
- Leave it on 'Back side layout not used', export and compare output with test ooutput
from preparation. It should be the same
- Select the layout you prepared for the back side.
- Export - this file should contain 2 PDF pages per patron, one first with the
front side, second with the back side.

The way the export options are displayed at the bottom of the checkouts table
was not consistent.
Prior to this patch set, they are display if ExportRemoveFields or
ExportWithCsvProfile is set.
It does not make any sense, the user could want to export the checkouts in
iso2709 format without having to define a csv profile and fill the pref.
Moreover the behavior of this pref did not match its description: it's used as
a default CSV profile when exporting records from the export tools or the
command line.
This patch set adds a new pref ExportCircHistory and remove
ExportWithCsvProfile. The new pref is set if ExportWithCsvProfile or
ExportRemoveFields were set.
A new dropdown list with the CSV profile list will be displayed in the
export area, at the bottom of the checkouts table.
Note that now --csv_profile_id is mandatory for the export command line
(misc/export_records.pl) if the export format is csv.
Test plan:
0/ Do not execute the DB entry
1/ Clear both ExportWithCsvProfile and ExportRemoveFields prefs
2/ Execute the DB entry
3/ ExportCircHistory should not be set and the export options should not
be displayed at the bottom of the checkouts table.
4/ Remove the pref
DELETE FROM systempreferences WHERE variable='ExportCircHistory';
and reinsert the previous one, with a value:
INSERT INTO systempreferences (variable, value) VALUES
('ExportWithCsvProfile', 'something');
Execute the DB entry again
=> The now pref should be now set
5/ Export some checkouts using the CSV entry
6/ Note that the export tool and commandline script still work using the
csv format. You have to provide a --csv_profile_id option to make it
work.

This splits off the delete capability from the create reports permission.
From a UI perspective there were CSS issues, that this patch set hackily
bypasses. Perhaps someone else can amend this enhancement with the required
changes so that the extra column at the beginning of the table can be
removed when the user does not have delete capability.

There are 2 prefs to drive this feature: StaffAuthorisedValueImages and
AuthorisedValueImages. AuthorisedValueImages is not added by
sysprefs.sql and does not appear in updatedatabase.pl, we could easily
imagine that nobody uses it.
With XSLT enabled, the feature is only visible on a record detail page
at the OPAC, if AuthorisedValueImages is set. Otherwise you need to turn
the XSLT off. In this case you will see the images on the result list
(OPAC+Staff interfaces) and OPAC detail page, but not the Staff detail
page.
This patch suggests to remove completely this feature as it does not
work correctly.
The ability to assign an image to an authorised value is now always
displayed, but the image will only be displayed on the advanced search
if defined.
Test plan:

The staff client CSS is not language-specific, so it can be moved out of
the en/ directory and thus not be duplicated for every translation.
In order to be able to have a generic path to the YUI CSS files, the YUI
directory is moved by this patch to the staff client's lib/ directory.
To test, apply the patch and visit various pages in the staff client.
Look in particular at pages which include more than the standard CSS.
For example:
- The staff client login page.
- The staff client home page.
- Patron -> Set permissions.
- The advanced cataloging editor.
- Acquisitions -> Vendor -> Basket groups.
- Tools -> News -> Edit news.
- Administration -> System preferences.

This patch adds:
- a new DB field items.new.
- a new page to configure this new status
(tools/toggle_new_status.pl).
- a new cronjob script (misc/cronjobs/automatic_item_modification_by_age.pl
was misc/cronjob/toggle_new_status.pl)
Why this status is useful for some libraries ?
The use cases are:
- to know easily what are the new items (with a simple sql query).
- to display an icon in the search results.
- issuing rules can be adapt for new items. Automatically (using the
cronjob script), the status change (depending the configuration) and
the item can be issued, for example.
- a RSS/Atom feeds can be created on these new items.
Test plan:
- log in with a librarian having the tools > items_batchmod permission.
- navigate to Home > Tools > Automatic item modifications by age (was: Toggle new status)
- click on the edit button
- there are 3 "blocks":
* duration: the duration during an item is considered as new.
* conditions: the status will change only if the conditions are meet.
* substitutions: if there is no substitution, no action will be done.
You can add some change to apply to the matching items.
E.g. ccode=3
new=''
If the value is an empty string (in other words, the input does not
contain anything), the field will be deleted.
You can create as many rules as you want.
- test the interface : add/remove rule, conditions, substitutions,
submit the form, edit, etc.
(There is a looot of JS everywhere, so certainly a looot of bugs...).
- when you have your rules defined, you can now launch the cronjob
script without any parameter.
A report will be displayed with the matching itemnumber and the
substitutions to apply. Verify results are consistent.
- launch the script with the -c argument and verify values have been
modified depending the substitution rules.

This is implemented be removing the existing sound system, and

* Change the value to something different and save the changes.
* Go to 'Tools' -> 'News' and add some news items (at least 2).
* Use the MySQL command line tool to edit the opac_news table,
removing the user id from one of the news items:
$ mysql -u kohaadmin -p -D koha
> SELECT `idnew`, `title`, `borrowernumber` FROM `opac_news`;
* Make a mental note of one of the 'newid' numbers to change.
> UPDATE `opac_news` SET `borrowernumber` = NULL WHERE `idnew` = <your-id-here>;
* Now one of the news items will have no user id, and no author should be shown for it.
* Go to OPAC and Staff client and make sure the display modes works as intended.
* Repeat for all values, making sure that the settings works as intended.
* The changed news item should have no author info shown at any time.
* The unchanged news item should show your own user name if the
settings match the section where it is displayed.

To test:
1) Go to home page of staff client and click the Help
2) Notice: 'you should now 'got to' Koha'
'settings found in 'a'dministration.' (should be capitalized)
'Once that user is set you should use that user to log in rather than the root user set up as part of installation.' (could be worded better)
3) Apply patch, close Help, reload page, reopen Help
4) Notice: 'got to' --> 'go to'
'administration' --> 'Administration'
'Once that user is set you should use that user to log in rather than the root user set up as part of installation.'
