TT variables are used to build the link in items.uri . This is a problem
particularly when TrackClicks is enabled because the items.uri value
doesn't get escaped, resulting in a 404.
To test:
1) Enable the TrackClicks system preference (set to Track or Track
anonymously)
2) Find a record with an item
3) Edit the item and put an external URL under the Uniform Resource
Identifier field
4) Go to that record in the OPAC
5) Click on Link to resource
6) Confirm you are not redirected to the URL and instead see a 404
7) Apply the patch and refresh the page
8) Click on Link to resource
9) Confirm you are redirected as expected
10) Go back to the staff client to edit your item. This time put two
URLs in the Uniform Resource Identifier field, separated by ' | '.
(Don't forget the spaces around the pipe, and don't forget to add a
trailing slash to the URL).
11) Go back to the OPAC and refresh the page.
12) Confirm both URLs redirect as expected.

To test, apply the patch and view the following pages to confirm that
columns containing dates sort correctly when using any setting of the
"dateformat" system preference:
- As a logged-in user, (proper testing will depend on having the
relevant data associated with your user, e.g. holds, searches, ill

- Checkouts
- Overdues

- Your charges
- Your search history
- Your checkout history
- Your holds history
- Your interlibrary loan requests
- Your tags
- Bibliographic detail page
- With a non-serial record: Holdings
- With a serial record: Latest issues

Changed the titles of each page on the OPAC to display the unique

This patch makes a couple of minor corrections to templates related to
OPAC search results: An errant quote, and invalidly repeating ids.
The #login4tags id is changed to a class, and CSS related to this id
(which was not used) is removed. For consistency, the id is changed to a
class on the detail page as well.
To test, apply the patch and rebuild the OPAC CSS
(https://wiki.koha-community.org/wiki/Working_with_SCSS_in_the_OPAC_and_staff_client).
- Perform a search in the OPAC. Confirm that the "Log in to add tags"
link still looks correct at various browser widths.
- Confirm that it works to trigger the login modal.
- Validate the source of the page. There should be no errors.
- View the detail page for a bibliographic record.
- The "Log in to add tags" link should look correct and work correctly.

In case a custom cover image url is used to generate the cover image of
bibliographic records, we should not build one if the record does not
have the necessary data.
For instance if you have
CustomCoverImagesURL set to https://covers.openlibrary.org/b/isbn/{isbn}-M.jpb
and a biblio does not have the isbn defined, we should not generate and
empty image (empty or invalid src)
Test plan:
0.
Set CustomCoverImagesURL to https://covers.openlibrary.org/b/isbn/{isbn}-M.jpb
Enable CustomCoverImages and OPACCustomCoverImages
To highlight the issue you should disable LocalCoverImages and OPACLocalCoverImages.
1. Make sure you have some of your bibliographic records with a valid
isbn
2. Make sure you have at least 1 bibliographic record without an isbn
set
3. Visit the search result and detail views (OPAC and staff interfaces)
=> Without this patch you should see a "Cover image" link, and an empty
block/div on the detail page
=> With this patch applied you should only see images when the url can
be generated
Note that the problem will persist if the isbn is not valid (ie. no
image is generated)

This patch makes changes to the display of the Open Library "read" links
in the OPAC search results and detail page. The link is now grouped with
other details about the record ("Publisher," "Location(s)," etc. On the
detail page, the "Preview" link will no longer appear under the cover
image.
The label is changed to "Found in Open Library," and the link now opens
the Open Library reader in a new window.
The patch also changes the Open Library button image links so that they
use https and makes it so that the "Found in Open Library" information
is hidden until the availability information has loaded.
To test, apply the patch and enable the OpenLibrarySearch system
preference.
- Perform a search in the OPAC which will return results found in Open
Library, e.g. "poetry" in the sample data.

This patch makes some corrections to the OPAC templates to add the
correct classes to a few buttons which were missed during the
Bootstrap 4 upgrade, especially in cases where the buttons only appear
when JavaScript is disabled.

- Perform a catalog search in the OPAC. On the search results page,
disable JavaScript. This can be done in the browser's developer tools
under "Settings."
- At the top of the table of search results there should be a
correctly-styled "Go" button next to the sorting dropdown menu. It

class designed specifically for screen reader text.
The patch also corrects a typo, "shelfbrowers" -> "shelf browser"
To test, apply the patch and make sure the OPACShelfBrowser system
preference is enabled.
View the detail page for a bibliographic record with items. In the

This patch updates the version of Bootstrap in the OPAC from 2.3.1 to
4.5.0. The Bootstrap JavaScript files have been replaced with custom
builds of the 4.5.0 JavaScript source files. The Bootstrap CSS is now
built into the OPAC CSS by loading the required Bootstrap 4.5.0 SCSS
files in node_modules.
OPAC SCSS now starts with Bootstrap customizations:
/* Bootstrap variable customizations */
$headings-color: #727272;
...
Followed by loading the necessary Bootstrap SCSS files:
/* Bootstrap imports */
@import "../../../../../node_modules/bootstrap/scss/functions";
@import "../../../../../node_modules/bootstrap/scss/variables";
...
Followed by our CSS. The build process for generating compiled CSS now
creates a file which bundles Bootstrap CSS and ours. Removed from the
Koha source: Bootstrap CSS files, Bootstrap "glyphicons" images.
The upgrade to Bootstrap 4 involved a lot of markup changes to conform
with new Bootstrap classes, especially in classes related to the grid.
Besides duplicating the grid we used before, this upgrade adds some new
features made possible by Bootstrap 4.5's use of flexbox as a layout
tool. This includes custom ordering of columns based on class names:
https://getbootstrap.com/docs/4.5/layout/grid/#order-classes.
Other areas where the most changes have been made: Navigation menus,
breadcrumb menus, buttons, dropdowns.
Bootstrap's JavaScript file is now "bootstrap.bundle.min.js" to reflect
the fact that a required JavaScript asset is now distributed separately
in Bootstrap 4. The "bundle" version includes Popper.js.
Unrelated changes: Indentation corrections, removal of invalid
"//<![CDATA[" markers, removal of invalid script type attributes.
To test, apply the patch and run 'yarn install' to install Bootstrap as
an npm module. Run 'yarn build --view opac' to regenerate the OPAC CSS.
Test as many aspect of the OPAC as possible, viewing pages at various
browser widths to confirm that everything adjusts well. Test with
various OPAC interface system preferences enabled and disabled.
Test self checkout and self checkin.

This patch updates the terminology associated with leaving a comment in
the OPAC. the word "item" is replaced with the more specific "title."
To test, apply the patch and make sure the reviewson system preference
is enabled.
- Log in to the OPAC and view a bibliographic record which has no
comments.
- Under the "comments" tab, verify that the text in the tab says
"There are no comments on this title. Post your comments on this
title."

This patch moves the Emoji picker JS assets out of opac-bottom.inc and
into opac-detail.tt. This prevents the assets from being loaded on every
page of the OPAC when they're only used on opac-detail.
The patch also combines and minifies the 4 JavaScript files used by the
feature. opac-detail.tt now loads only the one file.
To test, apply the patch and make sure the TagsEnabled and
TagsInputOnDetail preferences are enabled.
- Log in to the OPAC and view the detail page for a bibliographic
record.
- Click the "Add tag(s)" link
- Verify that the emoji-picker works for adding emojis

Font Awesome's accessibility guidelines
(https://fontawesome.com/v4.7.0/accessibility/) suggest that we include
'aria-hidden="true"' in the icon markup. This prevents screen
readers from trying to read the icon. This patch adds the attribute.
To test apply the patch and browse the OPAC looking for any problems
with icons: On search results, bibliographic details page, the cart,
lists, etc.
Check the source and verify that Font Awesome icons have the
"aria-hidden" attribute.

Attribute present, all looks good. The 'aria-label' attribute is
not translatable, but it's another problem.

At the moment noItemTypeImages pref controls staff and OPAC
display. With this patch, there will be a separate OpacNoItemTypes
preference that allows to control display of each separately.
To test:
- Apply patch and run database update
In Administration:
- Search for 'noItemTypes' preferences
- Verify the settings of both prefs match
- Toggle prefs, verify everything works ok
- Go to the item types configuration page
- Try different settings for both prefs:
- Both set to No: Only a message with a link to the prefs should show
- Both set to Yes or either set to Yes: image configuration options
should show
In the OPAC:
- Check the following pages with item-level_itypes = record
- advanced search
- detail page
- place hold page
- Check the following pages with item-level_itypes = item
- result list
- a list (opac-shelves)
- checkouts and overdues tabs in patron account
(Note: this didn't work right before, but will now.)
- reading history in patron account

Same change as in bug 24697 for staff. If there are more URIs in 952u,
we split them and show the real URL instead of Link to resource or the
value of pref URLLinkText.
I introduced a few template variables here to make the code a bit more
compact and readable.

The IDreamBooks service has not seen updates in a long time, so
we should remove the service from Koha as it's no longer operational.
To test:
- Apply patch and run the database update
- Verify that the IDreamBooks related system preferences are gone
- Verify that opac detail pages and result lists still work
as expected
- Run t/db_dependent/UsageStats.t

This patch reimplements the OPACPopupAuthorsSearch feature so that it
will work in the XSLT view.
To test, apply the patch and rebuild the OPAC CSS
(https://wiki.koha-community.org/wiki/Working_with_SCSS_in_the_OPAC_and_staff_client).
- View the detail page for a bibliographic record in the OPAC.
Test under the following conditions:
- OPACPopupAuthorsSearch ENABLED, OPACXSLTDetailsDisplay "default"
- OPACPopupAuthorsSearch ENABLED, OPACXSLTDetailsDisplay empty
- OPACPopupAuthorsSearch DISABLED, OPACXSLTDetailsDisplay "default"
- OPACPopupAuthorsSearch DISABLED, OPACXSLTDetailsDisplay empty
In each of these cases, test the detail page's listing of additional
authors/contributors and subjects. Test records which have both multiple
contributors or subjects and which have only one author or subject.
When OPACPopupAuthorsSearch is turned on, verify that the author/subject
selection modal appears and that your selections are correctly combined
to build a search string.
Note that OPACPopupAuthorsSearch feature has a problem with terms
containing parentheses. The issue predates this patch.
Also note that the QA tools will give a false positive about Bootstrap
button styles. This rule only applies to the staff client.

Changing the template toolkit filter for rendering the value of
BakerTaylorBookstoreURL in opac-detail.tt and opac-results.tt from uri
to url fixes the problem.
To test (requires a Baker & Taylor username and password):
1. Enter the B&T url into BakerTaylorBookstoreURL.
2. Set BakerTaylorEnabled to "add" and enter your username and password.
3. Look up a title in the OPAC.
4. Locate a title with a cover image.
5. Click on the cover image. You are not redirected to the url stored
in BakerTaylorBookstoreURL.
6. Display the full record for the title
7. Click on the cover image. You are not redirected to the url stored
in BakerTaylorBookstoreURL.
8. Apply the patch.
9. Refresh the OPAC display.
10. Click on the cover image. You are now redirected to the specified url.
11. Return to the results list.
12. Click on a cover image. You are now redirected to the specified url.

Jenkins is complaining about a missing filter:
xt/find-missing-filters.t, koha-tmpl/opac-tmpl/bootstrap/en/modules/opac-detail.tt line 573
The variable is just filled in the template but lets make Jenkins happy.
