I can reproduce the bug, and confirm that this patch fix it. The issue arises
when $9 come first, and then $3, which is not that usual.

8ec52a8e23 Bug 8793 - Fix materialTypeCode/typeOf008 icons for NORMARC XSLT
This patch fixes some issues with icons related to materialtypes in NORMARC:

Remove references to opac-tmpl in the *intranet* NORMARC XSLT files.

Add two new icons to koha-tmpl/intranet-tmpl/prog/img/famfamfam/ and
koha-tmpl/opac-tmpl/lib/famfamfam/
GR.png - Graphical materials
TD.png - Three dimentional objects

Copy PR.png from koha-tmpl/intranet-tmpl/prog/img/famfamfam/ to
koha-tmpl/opac-tmpl/lib/famfamfam/

Rename the XSLT variable materialTypeCode to typeOf008 for increased consistency
between stylesheets.

Make sure the XSLT uses icons that are actually available.

To test:
- No use testing all the different permutations of leader pos. 06 and 019b, I think.
- Set marcflavour = NORMARC and turn on default XSLT for OPAC and Intranet, details
  and results.
- Make sure you have a record with something relevant in leader position 6, like
  g for movies or c for music
- Check that the icon turns up in results and details, in the OPAC and Intranet
- Toggle DisplayOPACiconsXSLT and check that the results in the OPAC are as expected

237a43b361 Bug 8210: add links to authorities to headings in OPAC
At the moment, there is no way to get to an authority record from a bib
record that uses it other than doing a new search on the authority file.
This patch adds a link (a cute little magnifying glass) to linked
authority records on the OPAC detail view for MARC21 and NORMARC
with XSLT enabled. A follow-up patch will add the link to regular mode.
Because UNIMARC handles authorities differently, the link is not added
to the XSLT.

Test plan:
1) Set OPACXSLTDetailsDisplay to 'default'
2) View a record that has some headings that are linked to authority
   records in the OPAC (easiest way to find a record like that is to
   edit a record and add some headings using the thesaurus plugin)
3) Observe the cute little magnifying glass links to the authority.

Revised version of the patch adds a space between the heading and the
magnifying glass.

Signed-off-by: Katrin Fischer <Katrin.Fischer.83@web.de>
Patch works nicely.

If a library does not like to see the
magnifying glass/link to the authority, it's easy to disable it
by adding the line .authlink {display:none;} to OpacUserCSS.

bc05b5d163 Bug 7417: Include see from references in bibliographic searches
This patch adds the Koha::Indexer::RecordNormalizer and
Koha::Indexer::MARC::RecordNormalizer::EmbedSeeFromHeadings packages
to enable the inclusion of alternate forms of headings in bibliographic
searches. When the new syspref IncludeSeeFromInSearches is turned on
(default is off) rebuild_zebra.pl will insert see from headings from
authority records into bibliographic records when indexing, so that a
search on an obsolete term will turn up relevant records.

To test:
1) Enable IncludeSeeFromInSearches
2) Add a heading that has an alternate form to a record (for example,
   "Cooking" has the alternate form "Cookery," if you have authority
   records from LC)
3) Index the zebraqueue (or reindex if you haven't indexed your system
   yet)
4) Confirm that if you search for "Cookery" you get the record you
   just modified

0f13ce8380 Bug 6617: Improve MARC21 enhanced contents display
The display of "Enhanced" 505 (contents) fields in the MARC21
XSLT is very poor, resulting in large, unreadable blocks of text,
and -- for some series -- so much unnecessary duplication in the
Notes tab that important information is entirely obscured. This
patch reformats "enhanced" contents fields (MARC21 505 fields with
$t and $r) so as to be more readable by breaking up entries on
separate lines and making titles bold (to make them stand out more).

This patch does not address duplication of information in the Notes
tab, per discussion on the #koha IRC channel.

To test:
1) View record with enhanced 505 field before applying patch. Observe
   it is very unfriendly.
2) Apply patch.
3) View same record, note that display is much improved.

Signed-off-by: Nicole C. Engard <nengard@bywatersolutions.com>

This first patch works as advertised. It formats the table of
contents on the opac detail display in a cleaner format.

I recommend that future follow ups fix the staff client to match
and update the title notes tabs on the opac and staff client
to also match the cleaner format for table of contents.

448dbe2df5 Bug 7537 - Implement TraceCompleteSubfields, TraceSubjectSubdivisions and UseICU for NORMARC XSLT
IMPORTANT! This patch relies on the patch for Bug 7092, which is now pushed to
master.

As the title says, this patch implements TraceCompleteSubfields,
TraceSubjectSubdivisions and UseICU for NORMARC XSLT, both for the OPAC
and the Intranet. This affects how clickable subject-links are constructed.

To make this work the indexing of MARC fields in the 600 range is changed
to include "Subject:p" in several new places.

To test:

Find a record with a "complex" subject, like "Internet -- Law and legislation".
MARC21 and NORMARC are very similar in how they handle subjects, so testing
on a MARC21 database should be OK. (Changes in indexing reflect changes already
made to the MARC21 indexing.)

Make sure you have these syspref settings:
- marcflavour = NORMARC
- XSLTDetailsDisplay = using XSLT stylesheets
- OPACXSLTDetailsDisplay = using XSLT stylesheets

(Ideally, testing should be done on a real NORMARC setup, but since the changes
to indexing only reflect how it's already done in MARC21, I think testing
on a MARC21 installation with marcflavour = NORMARC should be OK.)

Now try the different combinations of TraceCompleteSubfields,
TraceSubjectSubdivisions and UseICU, and check the format of the
clickable links, both in the OPAC and staff client. Here's what you should
be seeing:

1.
TraceCompleteSubfields   = Don't force
TraceSubjectSubdivisions = Don't include
UseICU = Not using
  opac-search.pl?q=su:"Internet"
UseICU = Using
  opac-search.pl?q=su:{Internet}

2.
TraceCompleteSubfields   = Force
TraceSubjectSubdivisions = Don't include
UseICU = Not using
  opac-search.pl?q=su,complete-subfield:"Internet"
UseICU = Using
  opac-search.pl?q=su,complete-subfield:{Internet}

3.
TraceCompleteSubfields   = Don't force
TraceSubjectSubdivisions = Include
UseICU = Not using
  opac-search.pl?q=(su:"Internet") AND (su:"Law and legislation.")
UseICU = Using
  opac-search.pl?q=(su:{Internet}) AND (su:{Law and legislation.})

4.
TraceCompleteSubfields   = Force
TraceSubjectSubdivisions = Include
UseICU = Not using
  opac-search.pl?q=(su,complete-subfield:"Internet") AND (su,complete-subfield:"Law and legislation.")
UseICU = Using
  opac-search.pl?q=(su,complete-subfield:{Internet}) AND (su,complete-subfield:{Law and legislation.})

c429c8d774 Bug 7695 - Change boolean operator from "and" to "AND"
When XSLTDetailsDisplay/OPACXSLTDetailsDisplay = on and
TraceSubjectSubdivisions = Include, subject sudivisions are
combined with the boolean operator "and". Currently, this word is
translated along with other occurrences of the same word, resulting
in a false "no records found" for users of non-English templates.

This patch replaces "and" with "AND" which should have no effect on
searching (since Zebra is case-insensitive in this regard) but will
make the boolean operator stand out from other uses of "and" in
translations.

TraceSubjectSubdivisions is currently only implemented in MARC21,
so UNIMARC and NORMARC is not affected.

To test:

XSLTDetailsDisplay/OPACXSLTDetailsDisplay = using XSLT
TraceSubjectSubdivisions = Include
marcflavour = MARC21

Find a record with a clickable subject that includes one or more
subdivisions and check that the subdivisions are combined with
"AND", not "and". Check that you get the expected result when
clicking on the subject.

OPACXSLTDetailsDisplay = Using XSLT

20fd03724a Bug 7092 - Complete-subfield searches TraceCompleteSubfields syspref not working correctly
This patch adds a syspref UseICU for toggling between using "" and {} for
quoting in subject tracings. With normal Zebra indexing, "" must be used. With
ICU Zebra indexing, {} must be used.

This syspref interacts with TraceCompleteSubfields and TraceSubjectSubdivisions.

To test:

- marcflavour = MARC21
- make sure you have a record with a "complex subject", like
  "Internet -- Law and legislation"

Toggle UseICU, TraceCompleteSubfields, and TraceSubjectSubdivisions and check
that you get the expected results for the clickable links in the OPAC detail
view:

TraceCompleteSubfields   = Don't force
TraceSubjectSubdivisions = Don't include
UseICU                   = Not using
  opac-search.pl?q=su:"Internet"
UseICU                   = Using
  opac-search.pl?q=su:{Internet}

TraceCompleteSubfields   = Force
TraceSubjectSubdivisions = Don't include
UseICU                   = Not using
  opac-search.pl?q=su,complete-subfield:"Internet"
UseICU                   = Using
  opac-search.pl?q=su,complete-subfield:{Internet}

TraceCompleteSubfields   = Don't force
TraceSubjectSubdivisions = Include
UsingICU                 = Not using
  opac-search.pl?q=(su:"Internet") and (su:"Law and legislation.")
UsingICU                 = Using
  opac-search.pl?q=(su:{Internet}) and (su:{Law and legislation.})

TraceCompleteSubfields   = Force
TraceSubjectSubdivisions = Include
UseICU                   = Not using
  opac-search.pl?q=(su,complete-subfield:"Internet") and (su,complete-subfield:"Law and legislation.")
UseICU                   = Using
  opac-search.pl?q=(su,complete-subfield:{Internet}) and (su,complete-subfield:{Law and legislation.})

Check that clicking on the generated links gives the expected search results,
but with normal and ICU indexing. (I have actually not tested this with ICU, so
doing that before signing off is crucial.)

UPDATE 2012-03-16:

Changed the name of the syspref from TracingQuotes to UseICU after a suggestion
from Paul P., to make it more generally useful.

I have used "Using/Not using" instead of "Use/Don't use" in the description of
the syspref, to reflect the fact that this syspref will not change how Zebra
does its indexing - it's just a way of telling Koha how the indexing is
actually done.

I have also set UseICU = 1 in updatedatabase.pl, since that will preserve the
current behaviour of Koha, but UseICU = 0 in sysprefs.sql, since most new
installations will not have ICU activated.

f149931bbd Bug 7609: Improving links to find analytics and volumes when using UseControlnumber (MARC21)

9b3e1552c4 Bug 5369: Make series tracings use phrase indexes
By definition, series tracings should search for other records in the same
series, i.e., those with the exact same series title. This patch forces the
tracings to use phrase indexes for series tracings.

Note that this patch DOES NOT respect TraceCompleteSubfields. While that may be
desirable, it is outside the scope of the current patch. An additional follow-up
patch could be written to add support for TraceCompleteSubfields, if community
concensus is that series tracings should obey TraceCompleteSubfields.

4cd81a8d0f Bug 5369: se queries with paranthesis fail
This patch does several things to make the search work better:

1) Adding "" around search terms for queries on index se.
2) Make links for 8xx obey the UseControlNumber system preference
3) Fix the indexing for 8xx fields, as they were not included in the se index before

Note: Make sure you copy the new record.abs into your koha-dev directory and reindex
before testing.

To test:
1) Add records using the following fields:
440$a
490$a ind. 1 = empty or 0
490$a ind. 1 = 1
800$a, 810$a, 811$a or 830$a

Example value taken form bug description, should only work after applying the patch:
DHEW publication no. (HSM) 73-1804

Please also test with other examples.

0ae2c3c4ce Bug 6553: parentheses in authors break tracings
If an author's name includes parentheses or other escape-characters, the tracing links
produced in the OPAC and staff client fail in XSLT mode. This patch wraps the author names
in double-quotes, providing the necessary escapement.

Test plan:
- Create a new framework, delete Thesaurus from 700 and other fields
- Create a new record in this framework
- Add 700$a - use parentheses
- Check the search links in OPAC and staff detail pages
> before patch link was broken, after it works

Note: Links are only broken when no authorities are being used.
When using authorities the link uses the auth number instead of the text
for linking, so the parentheses don't matter for search.

fb3272febd Bug 7007: 490 series statements should appear when not traced
Although the MARC21 standard requires libraries to set the first indicator to
'0' when a 490 field is untraced, many libraries leave it blank. Previously,
this resulted in a blank line with the label "Series:" but no actual series
information. This patch fixes that by showing untraced series headings for

a4baa4df18 6278 Funny translation bug with XSLT subfieldSelect parameters
This patch resolves the situation of translating the parameters at (meaning subfield a and t) of subfieldSelect by replacing at with a_t. This string will not be translated and the xslt function subfieldSelect just ignores the underscore.
It is a pragmatic and easy solution. Theoretically, we should look for a solution in the translation parser. This is much harder and would probably not result in better code in those modules.

Test this patch with the following remarks in mind:
1) This patch deals with XSLT. So you should enable XSLT at OPAC detail.
2) In English or any language not translating the word at: Just check if the links for a MARC 490, 773, 780 or 785 still work at the opac detail page.
3) For a language translating the word at (like Dutch where at becomes bij), you should first rerun your translation process (at least for the OPAC).
4) In that language: Check the results on the vernacular opac detail page for MARC 490, 773, 780 or 785. Without the patch, you would not see a link following e.g. the Series label (with 490 first indicator set to 1). With the patch, you should see a link now.

f09e2ca27e Bug 5528: Analytic records support
Display links to parent biblios, show linked items in holdings, allow holds on
linked items. This uses MARC to maintain relationships.

Sponsored by the Mississippi Department of Archives and History and RapidRadio
Solution. Originally developed by Savitra Sirohi and Amit Gupta at OSSLabs, with
UNIMARC support added by Zeno Tajoli. Commits squashed and merge conflicts
resolved by Chris Cormack from Catalyst. Respect for NORMARC and some small
framework portability fixes made by Jared Camins-Esakov of C & P Bibliography
Services.

IMPORTANT NOTE: A bug in the 773 coding for MARC21 was corrected from the
original OSS Labs code. The 773s generated by the pre-release code did not have
the first indicator set to '0', which means that they were not supposed to
display. Going forward, the first indicator will be set correctly, but existing
records created with this code will no longer appear (they appeared before only
due to another bug). To correct this, you could globally (or, to make sure you
only modify records created with the Analytics tool, for records with 773$0)
change the first indicator of the 773 from blank to '0'.

== Background ==
An analytic record for an item is a more detailed, monographic biblio for an
item attached to a serial record . This is often used for special issues of a
journal that are released as books on their own (assigned an ISBN, as well as an
ISSN/volume/issue). It is important for researchers to be able to search for
these items both as issues of the serial, and as monographs. It is equally
important for the library to not have duplicate item records for the item in
question to have to keep synchronized.

== Establishing relationships ==
Analytical records are connected to items belonging to parent or host
bibliographic records. This can be accomplished by:
* From an analytical bibliographic record linking to an host item by providing
  the item barcode as input
* From a host item by using option "analyze", this creates a new empty
  bibliographic record with field 773 (MARC21) populated
* Running a new CLI script that establishes a relationship between the
  analytical record and the host item identified by the barcode in the
  analytical record's 773$o (MARC21)

== Connecting Records ==
The relationships are maintained in the MARC records, we have not used database
tables at all.

== MARC Representation ==
In MARC21/NORMARC we have used:
* 773$9 to store the Koha item number of the host item
* 773$0 to store the Koha biblio number of the host bibliographic record

The above fields are used to display the relationships in various screens in the
OPAC and the staff interface. Additionally, when populating field 773 with host
item's details, we have used following MARC 21 mapping:
* 'a' <= 100/110/111 $a (author main)
* 'b' <= 250$a (edition)
* 'd' <= 260$a, 260$b, 260$c (place, publisher, year)
* 'o' <= barcode
* 't' <= 245$a (title)
* 'w' <= (003)001 --> if no 001 is available, we can populate biblionumber
* 'x' <= 022$a (issn)
* 'z' <= 020$a (isbn)

In UNIMARC, this code uses:
* 461$9 to store the Koha item number of the host item
* 461$0 to store the Koha biblio number of the host bibliographic record

When populating field 461 in UNIMARC, the following mapping is used:
* 't' <= 200$a (title)

== Treatment of Holds ==
A key requirement was to allow holds to be placed on host items from the
analytical record. We have accomplished this by allowing holds on specific
copies only. Biblio level holds are not allowed. This ensures that holds are
placed on specific items that are relevant to the analytical record.

== Deleting host items with linked analytical records ==
As we have not used database tables to maintain relationships, we had to use
search to find out if any linked analytical records are present. If 1 or more
analytical are present, we do not allow deletion of items. This is similar to
what we see when we try to delete authority records.

== Importing analytical records ==
Analytical records can be imported using bulkmarcimport or the GUI tools. The
new CLI script can be executed after the import to establish relationships with
host items. The script will establish relationships using the host item's
barcode, the barcode must be present in 773$o of the analytical record.

== What if there are two or more copies of the host item? ==
The current design will require that there be two host (773) fields, one for
each copy.

== What if there is no barcode available for the host item? ==
It is still possible to establish a relationship, by populating 773$9 with the
host's item number. However the CLI script uses barcode in 773$o to establish
relationships so it won't work where barcodes are unavailable. Also from an
analytical record, it is possible to establish a relationship to a host item by
providing the barcode as input, this option will not be available as well.

Commits that added the following features were squashed by Chris Cormack (this
is not a list of every commit):
* Display links to host records from biblio detail screens
* Support for UNIMARC, respecting the system preference 'marcflavor'
* Support holds from the OPAC
* Ability to link to items belong to host records from a analytical record
* Display items belonging to host records in the moredetail page
* Ability to edit items belonging to host records, also ability to delink from
  them
* Move get host items code into a C4 routine, also calling the new routine in
  related perl scripts
* Move host field population to a C4 routine, all changes in pl files to call
  new routine
* Allow only specific copy holds for analytical records plus changes to use new
  C4 routines
* Support for holds on items linked via host records
* Storing bibnumber and itemnumber in subfields 0 and 9, plus other mapping
  changes
* New command line script that establishes relationships between analytical
  records and host items and bibs. The script looks for host field (MARC21 773)
  in records, and based on barcode in subfield 'o' populates host bibnumber in
  subfield '0' and host itemnumber in subfield '9'. The script can be run after
  an import of analytical records, it can also be run in the crontab to maintain
  the relationships
* Ability to create analytical records from items, to view linked analytics, and
  prevent deletion of items that have linked analytics
* New template for catalogue/detail.pl (NOTE: not a new template file, just a
  new way of displaying analytics), template displays linked analytics and
  allows creation of analytical records
* New zebra index for item number in host fields. This index will be used to
  display links to analytical records from host records
* Display title of host record instead of the phrase host record
* Using detail.tmpl for analytics tab instead of a new template file
* Improved qualification info prepration in Prephostmarcfield
* Check for linked analytics before deleting item
* Display link to host record and more meaningful anchor text for edit item link
* Analytical record: Unimarc index in record.abs and help in
  create_analytical_rel.pl
* Adding a sys pref that controls display of options to create analytical
  relationships
* Add host entry in XSLT stylesheet in staff item detail
* Added host record support to OPAC detail XSLT
* Adding 773$0 and 773$9 to all frameworks
* Adding 773 subfields 0 and 9 to default marc framework via updatedatabase.pl
* Display create analytics and used in links in catalog detail
* Fixed problem where analytical records not showing in OPAC search results
  because GetMarcBiblio now needs a flag to add item records
* Fixed problem where analytics count was set to 1 for all records, not just
  those with analytics
* Fixed catalogue detail page not to show analytics counts if count is 0

5ecbdcab93 Bug 6901: Add classes to XSLT detail view in OPAC
This patch adds css classes to the fields in XSLT OPAC view so
you can use OpacUserCss system preference for formatting

The css classes are named like the labels with additional underscores
where necessary.

Example:
.publisher {

.other_title {

694f0fbeaf Bug 6153: Display imprint subfields in order
Prior to this patch, the imprint (field 260) was displayed out-of-order on the
MARC21 XSLT record detail page. For example, the following data:
=260  \\$aNew York :$bHarper,$c2003$g(2005 printing)
Displayed as:
Harper, New York : 2003 (2005 printing)
Instead of:
New York : Harper, 2003 (2005 printing)

Even more problematically, the following data:
=260  \\$a[S.l. :$bs.n.],$c1860.
Displayed as:
s.n.], [S.l. : 1860
Instead of:

subfields in the proper order (as the Results display already does).
