15b1f6c7fe Bug 15581: Display the latest auto renew date possible when renewing manually
If an issue marked as auto_renew is renewed manually, we want to display
the latest auto renew date possible.

Test plan:
1/ Define circ rules as in the previous patch.
2/ Check a item out, mark it as an auto renewal
3/ Back date the issuedate and make sure it will be too late to renew it
4/ Use the Circulation > renew page (circ/renew.pl) to manually renew
this issue.
You should get a warning "You barcode has been scheduled for automatic renewal
and cannot be renewed anymore since DATE."
If the pref AllowRenewalLimitOverride is set, you will be allowed to
renew it anyway.

53dfa99727 Bug 15581: Add a circ rule to limit the auto renewals given a delay
This patch adds a new circulation rule (no_auto_renewal_after) to block/allow
auto renewals after a given delay.
For instance, if the issue date is 10 days before today, and
no_auto_renewal_after is set to 10, tomorrow the issue won't be auto
renewed.

Test plan:
0/ Execute the update DB entry
Note: You will have to manually change data in your DB, make sure you
have access to the sql cli.
1/ Define a rule with no_auto_renewal_after (10 for instance) and
norenewalbefore (5 for instance).
(This new rule will behave the same as norenewalbefore: the unit depends
on the lengthunit value).
The automatic renewals will be done from 5 to 10 days ahead.
2/ Modify the issues.issuedate, to simulate a checkout in the past:
    UPDATE issues
    SET issuedate = "yyyy-mm-dd hh:mm:ss"
    WHERE itemnumber = YOUR_ITEMNUMBER;
with issuedate = 2 days before for instance
3/ Execute the automatic renewals cronjob script (misc/cronjobs/automatic_renewals.pl)
Confirm that the issue has not been renewed (too soon)
4/ Repeat step 2 with a due date set as 11 days before
5/ Execute the automatic renewals cronjob script (misc/cronjobs/automatic_renewals.pl)
Confirm that the issue has not been renewed (too late)
6/ Repeat step 2 with a due date set as 7 days before
7/ Execute the automatic renewals cronjob script (misc/cronjobs/automatic_renewals.pl)
Confirm that the issue has been renewed (issues.renewals has been
incremented and date_due has been updated according your circ rules).

884e28fab5 Bug 17310: Broken URLs in 'Item renewed' / 'Cannot renew' messages
In the Staff client, under Circulation > Renew, the message shown after
successful renewal of an item contains broken URLs. This is also true for
the message shown when you try to renew an item that is not checked out.

This patch fixes that.

Test plan:
1) Go to Circulation > Renew, and search for the barcode of a checked-out
   item. In the 'Item renewed:' confirmation message, notice how the URLs
   for the title and the barcode are broken.
2) Now search for the barcode of an item that is not checked out. In the
   'Cannot renew:' message, notice how the URLs are broken here too.
3) Apply the patch.
4) Repeat steps 1) and 2). This time the URLs work fine.

In the Staff client, under Circulation -> Circulation reports,
the date shown in the heading of the 'Holds awaiting pickup'

6fc03f1968 Bug 10768 - Improve the interface related to itemBarcodeFallbackSearch
When the itemBarcodeFallbackSearch syspref is on, the wording in the
interface should reflect that you can enter a barcode OR a keyword.
Additionally, in the results of a keyword search the "Fast cataloging"
link should be more descriptive. This patch fixes these issues.

Test plan:

0) [PREREQUISITES] Ensure you have a Fast Add ('FA') framework defined,
   and that your itemBarcodeFallbackSearch syspref is set to 'Enable'.
1) Go to Circulation -> Check out, search for a patron, then select a
   patron to Check out. Notice how the text above the textbox reads
   "Enter item barcode:".
2) Type something generic (not a barcode) in the textbox so that you'll
   get at least one item as a result. Notice how the text in the yellow
   warning box reads "The barcode was not found: <terms> Fast cataloging".
3) Apply the patch.
4) Repeat step 1), now the text above the textbox should read
   "Enter item barcode or keyword:".
5) Repeat step 2), now the text in the yellow warning box should read
   "The barcode was not found: <terms> Add record using fast cataloging".

b80a18ee2f Bug 17010 - Canceling a hold awaiting pickup no longer alerts librarian about next hold
In previous versions of Koha, if a hold canceled from the "Holds over" tab had other holds on it,

19a977dc7b Bug 15758: Koha::Libraries - Remove GetBranchName
This is the fourth and last patch set to remove C4::Branch.
The real purpose of this patch is to standardise and refactor some code
which is related to the libraries selection/display.
Its unconfessed purpose is to remove the C4::Branch package.

Before this patch set, only 6 subroutines still existed in the C4::Branch
package:
- GetBranchName
- GetBranchesLoop
- mybranch
- onlymine
- GetBranches
- GetBranch

GetBranchName basically returns the branchname for a given branchcode.
The branchname is only used for a display purpose and we don't need to
retrieve it in package or pl scripts (unless for a few exceptions).
We have a `Branches` template plugin with a `GetName` method which does
exactly this job.
To achieve this removal, we will use this template plugin and delete the
GetBranchName from pl and pm files.
The `Branches.all()` will now select the library of the logged in user
if no `selected` parameter has been passed.
This new behavior could cause regressions, for instance there are some
places where we do not want an option preselected (batch item
modification for instance), keep that in mind when testing.

GetBranchesLoop took 3 parameters: $branch and $onlymine.
The first one was used to set a "selected" flag, for a display purpose:
select an option in the libraries dropdown lists.
The second one was useless: If not passed or set to 0, the
`C4::Branch::onlymine` subroutine was called.
This onlymine flag was use to know if the logged in user was able to see
other libraries infos.
A patron can see the infos from other libraries if IndependentBranches
is not set OR if he has the superlibrarian permission.
Prior to this patch set, the "onlymine test" was done on different
places (neworderempty.pl, additem.pl, holidays.pl, etc.), including the
Branches TT plugin. In this patch set, this test is only done on one
place (C4::Context::only_my_library, code moved from
C4::Branch::onlymine).
To accomplish the same job as this subroutine, we just need to call the
`Branches.all()` method from the `Branches` TT plugin. It already
accepts a `selected` parameter to set a flag on the option to select.
To avoid the repetitive
  [% IF selected %]<option selected="selected">[% ELSE %]<option>[% END %]
pattern, a new `html_helpers` TT include file has been created, it
defines an `options_for_libraries` block, which takes a `selected`
parameter. We could imagine to use this include file for other
selects.

The 'mybranch` and `onlymine` subroutines of the C4::Branch package have
been moved to C4::Context. onlymine has been renamed with
only_my_library. There are only 4 occurrences of it, against 11 before
this patch set.
There 2 subroutines are Context-centric and it makes sense to put them
in `C4::Context` (at least it's the least worst place!)

GetBranches is the tricky part of this patch set: It retrieves all the
libraries, independently of the value of IndependentBranches.
To keep the same way as the existing calls of `Branches.all()`, I have
added a `unfiltered` parameter. If set, the `Branches.all()` will call
a usual Koha::Libraries->search method, otherwise
Koha::Libraries->search_filtered will be called. This new method will
check if the logged in user is allowed to see other libraries or only
its library.
Note that this `GetBranches` subroutine also created a `category` key:
it allowed to get the list of groups (of libraries) where this library
existed. Thanks to a previous patch set (bug 15295), this value was
not used anymore (I may have missed something!).

Note that the only use of `GetBranch` was buggy (see bug 15746).

Test plan (for the whole patch set):
The best way to test this whole patch set is to test with 2 instances: 1
with the patch set applied, 1 using master, to be sure there is no
regression.
It would be good to test the same with `IndependentBranches` and the
without `IndependentBranches`.
No difference should be found.
The tester must focus on the library dropdowns on as many forms as
possible.
You will notice changes in the order of the options: the libraries will
now be ordered by branchname (instead of branchcode in some places).
A special attention will be given to the following page:
- acqui/neworderempty.pl
- catalogue/search.pl
- members/members-home.pl (header?)
- opac/opac-topissues.pl
- tools/holidays.pl
- admin/branch_transfer_limits.pl
- admin/item_circulation_alerts.pl
- rotating_collections/transferCollection.pl
- suggestion/suggestion.pl
- tools/export.pl

Notes for QA:
- There are 2 FIXMEs in the patch set, I have kept the existing behavior,
but I am not sure it's the good one. Feel free to open a bug report and
I will fill a patch if you think it's not correct. Otherwise, remove the
FIXME lines in a follow-up patch.
- The whole patch set is huge and makes a lot of changes.
But it finally will tremendously reduce the number of lines:

f91ed3d8bf Bug 14060: Remove readonly attributes on date inputs
In order to remove accessibility issues due to the readonly attributes
on date inputs, this patch will remove them and introduce a javascript
validation on them.

This patch is not perfect for some reason:
I didn't manage to force the user to select a valid date. One solution
would be to reopen the datepicker plugin until a valid date is inserted.
But it could be annoying for users (and for me: I did not manage to
implement this solution).
You will note that input is emptied if the date is not valid. This is a
quick and efficient solution to prevent submitting invalid date and make
Koha explodes. A proper solution would be to implement the check server
side send a friendly message to the user.

Test plan:
For all inputs, try an invalid and a valid date.
 1/ Debar a patron
 2/ On the checkout tables (circulation and moremember), add a renewal
due date (at the bottom of the tables)
 3/ On the checkout page, specify a due date
 4/ On the return page, specify a return date
 5/ On the invoice page (acquisition module), enter a shipment and
billing date
 6/ On the invoice search page (invoices.pl) use filters shipment and
billing dates
 7/ On the offline circ page, specify a due date
 8/ On the edit patron page (memberentry), add a debarment
 9/ On the reserve page (reserve/request.pl), use the date inputs to
suspend until a defined date

b7c61a5d12 Bug 16531: Circ overdue report is showing an empty table if no overdues
EDIT: Comment 2
EDIT2: using noreport variable (Comment 5)

To test:
1) Ensure you have no items overdue
2) Go to Circ -> Circulation reports -> Overdues
3) Notice empty table, '0 items overdue' heading
4) Ensure syspref FilterBeforeOverdueReport is set to 'Don't require'
5) Apply patch and refresh page
6) Notice empty table is no longer showing and page says "There are no
   overdues"
7) Apply a filter to search
8) Page now says "There are no overdues matching your search" with a
   link to reset filter.
9) Click Reset filter -> confirm any filters you applied are cleared.
10) Set FilterBeforeOverdueReport to 'Require' and refresh overdue
    report
11) Page should say "Please choose one or more filters to proceed"
12) Check out an item to a member, ensure due date is a date that has
    passed (i.e. yesterday)
13) Refresh overdue report page
14) Page should still say "Please choose one or more filters to proceed"
15) Set FilterBeforeOverdueReport to 'Don't require'
16) Confirm table now shows correctly with '1 items overdue' heading

e29de9967b Bug 16566 [Revised] 'Print slip' button formatting inconsistent
This patch modifies the style of some "print slip" links on the checkin
page to make them consistent with other buttons shown in dialogs.

This patch also removes the use of "onclick" in some places in favor of
defining events in the JavaScript.

To test apply the patch and go to Circulation -> Check in.

- Check in an item which belongs at another branch. You should see a
  dialog which asks the user to transfer the item. Confirm that the
  "Print slip" button looks correct and works correctly.

- Check in the same item again. You should see a different dialog which
  has both a "Print transfer slip" and "Cancel transfer" button. The
  "Print transfer slip" button should look correct and work correctly.

- Check in an item which is part of a rotating collection. (Or, if Bug
  16570 is still open, check in any item) You should see a dialog which
  notifies you that the item is part of a rotating collection. The
  "Print slip" button in this dialog should look correct and work
  correctly.

Followed test plan. Buttons appear as expected.

a1285ba9c0 Bug 12509 - Fix Untranslatable Restriction added by overdues process
Changes the value of the "comment" column in "borrower_debarments" table
from "Restriction added by overdues process yyyy-mm-dd hh:mm:ss" to
"OVERDUE_PROCESS yyyy-mm-dd hh:mm:ss" in the overdue_notices.pl. Then in
the templates "moremember.tt", "circulation.tt", "memberentrygen.tt",
"opac-reserve.tt" and "opac-user.tt" the value of "comment" is
check, if it's an automatical comment due to overdue process it'll
write "Restriction added by overdues process yyyy-mm-dd hh:mm:ss",
then if there is a customizable comment it will be written without
modification. Like this, the comment "Restriction added by overdues
process" is written in the po files and can be translated later.

To test:
1) create a patron with automatical restriction due to overdue process;
2) apply patch;
3) run misc/cronjobs/overdue_notices.pl;
4) verify if the comment "Restriction added by overdues process" is well
   written and translatable on the following page :
    - opac patron home page (opac-user.tt);
    - opac item reservation page (opac-reserve.tt);
    - pro patron page (moremember.tt);
    - reservation item for a patron (circulation.tt, memberentrygen.tt);
5) try to translate the comment in po files;

9427d44568 Bug 16534: Make CanBookBeIssued test if the issue can be returned
If an issue is already checked out, CanBookBeIssued must check if the
issue can be checked in before processing the return.
In such cases (depending of the AllowReturnToBranch pref), the issue
should not be allowed.

Prior to this patch, the checkin was not done and the checkout failed
with "Duplicate entry '1204321' for key 'itemnumber'". Indeed since bug
14978, there is an uniq key on issues.itemnumber. Before bug 14978 the
issue existed but was hidden (and some weird behaviors certainly
happened!).

To avoid Koha to crash, a check is added to CanBookBeIssued (call to
CanBookBeReturned) and the librarian is not able to process the
checkout.

Test plan:

- Set AllowReturnToBranch to anywhere
- Check an item (homebranch Library 1, holding branch Library 1) out from Library 1
- Check the item out from Library 2
=> Confirm the checkout (should work with and without this patch)

- Set AllowReturnToBranch to holdinbranch ("only the library the item
  was checked out from").
- Check an item (homebranch Library 1, holding branch Library 1) out from Library 1
- Check the item out from Library 2
=> Without this patch, Koha crashed
=> With this patch, you will be warned that the checkin is not possible.

Try other combinations of the AllowReturnToBranch syspref

ed449a5b5b Bug 16005 - Standardize use of icons for delete and cancel operations
This patch makes changes to Font Awesome icons in order to make icon

4c04f6f8e0 Bug 16336 [Revised] UX of holds patron search with long lists of results
Bug 15793 made a change to an interface which is also found in the place
hold template. This patch creates a new include file to be used by both
circulation.tt and request.tt so that these pages do not diverge.

In the process, this patch removes some markup and JavaScript which was
made obsolete by Bug 15793 and should have been removed.

This patch also revises the sorting of the results table so that the
patron name is sortable (Bug 16334) and the default sort is on card
number (matching 3.20.x and 3.22.x).

To test:

In Circulation:
- Perform a search by name for a patron which will
  return multiple search results.
- The table of results which displays should look correct and work
  correctly, including DataTables sorting.
- Clicking any table row should forward you to the checkout page for
  that patron.

In the catalog:
- Locate and place a hold on a title.
- When prompted to select a patron to place the hold for, perform a
  search by name which will return multiple results.
- Confirm that the table of patron results looks correct and works
  correctly.
- Clicking any table row should forward you to the place hold page for
  that patron and the title you selected.

Revision: Although the table row was clickable, you couldn't
middle-click it to open the link in a new tab. The patron name is now a
real link you can middle-click or right-click. The row is still
clickable as well.

0b6bc2b598 Bug 16218: printfeercpt.tt (and others) does not include jQuery
This patch adds [% INCLUDE 'doc-head-close.inc' %] to the following files
(to make them include jQuery):

koha-tmpl/intranet-tmpl/prog/en/modules/circ/printslip.tt
koha-tmpl/intranet-tmpl/prog/en/modules/members/moremember-print.tt
koha-tmpl/intranet-tmpl/prog/en/modules/members/moremember-receipt.tt
koha-tmpl/intranet-tmpl/prog/en/modules/members/printfeercpt.tt

To test:

1) Temporarily include the follwing lines in syspref IntranetSlipPrinterJS:

function printThenClose() {
  if (typeof jQuery != 'undefined') {
    // jQuery is loaded => print the version
    alert(jQuery.fn.jquery);
  }
  else {
    alert('jQuery not available');
  }
}

2) Go to a users page and print slips:
From the Print button in the tool bar:
- Print summary
- Print slip
- Print quick slip
From the "Fines" tab: Account
- 'Print' link in the table with paid transactions

Without patch, a JavaScript message 'jQuery not avaliable' appears.

The staff client CSS is not language-specific, so it can be moved out of

6ecf823300 Bug 15672 [Revised] Show descriptions instead of codes on the hold ratios report
This patch revises the hold ratios report so that it uses template
plugins to display descriptions instead of codes for item holding
branch, item home branch, item type, and shelving location.

To test you should have multiple items on the hold ratio report (set the
ratio to a small number to increase the number of results). It should
include one or more items which have a shelving location set.

View the hold ratios report and confirm that library names, shelving
location descriptions, and item type descriptions are shown instead of
codes.

This revised patch steals from Bug 15560 to enable the correct display
of multiple home libraries, holding libraries, shelving locations, item
types, and call numbers. To properly test you should have records in

4cfee1fb9e Bug 16078 [Revised] Remove unused YUI CSS
The YUI CSS file "skin.css" is no longer relevant to the staff client
templates and can be removed. Other references to YUI-related classes,
with the exception of grids, can also be removed.

This patch removes references in CSS to:

.yuimenuitemlabel
.yui-button
.yui-menu-button

...and removes the "yui-skin-sam" class from two templates' body tag.

skin.css is also included in a list of assets cached by the offline
circulation page. It can be safely removed.

To test, apply the patch and clear your cache if necessary. Look around

23e1a885c7 Bug 16042 - Missing closing quote in checkin template
A missing quotation mark breaks the display of multiple messages during
checking. This patch adds the missing quote.

To test, apply the patch and locate an item which is on hold and is not
checked out.

 - Check in the item.
 - Confirm that both the hold notification and the "Not checked out"
   alert look correct.
 - For extra credit, validate the page and confirm that there are no
   errors related to broken markup.

2d74d926ce Bug 15632: Koha::Patron::Messages - Remove GetMessages
This subroutine just retrieved the messages given some parameters.
Some job should not have been done in this subroutine.
It was called only 3 times, in circ/circulation.pl and opac-user.pl.
Basically it was used to retrieved the message to displaye for a given
patron ($borrowernumber) at the OPAC (B) or Staff (L).

For the 3 calls, the 2 parameters $borrowernumber and $type
(message_type) were passed, the "%" trick at the beginning of the
subroutine was useless.
Moreover, the date formatting should be done on the TT side, not in
subroutine.
The can_delete flag was set if the branchcode given in parameter was the
same as the one of the message. This has been delegated to the template.
Indeed the can_delete was not valid, since it must depend on the
AllowAllMessageDeletion pref.
The test is now:
  IF message.branchcode == branch OR
  Koha.Preference('AllowAllMessageDeletion'')

There is not specific test plan for this patch, the changes have already
been tested in previous patches.

255c0af989 Bug 15927 - Remove use of <tr class="highlight"> for alternating row colors
The "highlight" class on table rows is unnecessary since we have a CSS
rule which defines colors for alternating row colors. This patch removes
use of the "highlight" class from templates and removes the definition
from staff-global.css

To test, view the affected pages and confirm that the change has not
broken anything.

Note that if you search the templates for instances of a <tr> with a

6af1ca0759 Bug 14134 - Make "Holds over" show holds expiring tomorrow if ExpireReservesMaxPickUpDelay is set
If ExpireReservesMaxPickUpDelay is enabled, the "holds over" tab becomes
useless. It would be nice if the "holds over" tab would display
*tomorrow's* "holds over" so the librarian can see what will be
automatically canceled over night.

Test Plan:
1) Apply this patch
2) Enable ExpireReservesMaxPickUpDelay
3) Note the "holds over" list now displays holds that will have been
   waiting more than the number of days defined in ReservesMaxPickUpDelay
   as of tomorrow.
