The holds button in cat-toolbar is broken for "search to hold". It is a
split button rather than a dropdown button. Clicking the caret works
fine, but clicked the button sends you to the marc editor!
Test Plan:
1) View a patron's details page
2) Click 'search to hold'
3) Search for something
4) On the results page, click a result line's title link (
catalogue/detail.pl )
5) Note the "Place hold" button is a split button, click the left half
of the button, note it redirects you to the editor.
6) Apply this patch
7) Repeat steps 1-5

doc-head-close.inc contains a reference to "wizard.css" which doesn't
exist. The option to include it never evaluates as true, and that
section can be removed from the template.
To test, apply the patch and view any page in the staff client.
Everything should be styled as before. A search of the Koha source
should return no references to "wizard.css" or a "wizard" variable.

Client-side table sorting should exclude articles like "a," "an," and
"the" when sorting by title. This patch adds a custom sorting plugin for
use by DataTables and a configuration line to the DataTables string
configuration file which can be translated for any language.
As an example, this patch modifies the patron checkout history template
to use the new sort on the title column.
To test, apply the patch and clear your browser cache to ensure the
revised JavaScript file is loaded. Sort the table by title. Titles
should be sorted regardless of the presences of "a," "an", or "the" at
the beginning of the title.

The OPAC offers RIS and BIBTEX as choices for bibliographic downloads,
but the staff client was missing these options. This patch adds them.
To test, view a record in the staff client (detail.pl, MARCdetail.pl,
etc.) and click the "Save..." toolbar button. BIBTEX and RIS should be
available and functional.

There are no pages in the staff client which use YUI JS assets other
than basketgroups.tt. The links to YUI assets can therefore be removed
from the global include and put directly into the basket groups
template.

This patch corrects serveral more places in the templates where the path
to the prog theme is hard-coded. To test, apply the patch and view the
following cases:
- When a database update is triggered the login page loads login.css.
This path should be correct. (Reference to wizard.css is removed as
per Bug 10422).
- The course reserves home page should load datatables-related assets
correctly.
- Help pages for the Quick spine label creator and the staff client home
page should show the correct paths where they reference the Koha file
system.
- The web installer pages should correctly load the Koha logo.
- The label creator "manage" pages (layouts, templates, etc.) should
correctly load datatables-related assets.

This patch removes JavaScript "onlick" attributes from header.inc and
moves the functionality to staff-global.js. This is in keeping with the
idea of progressive enhancement.
To test, be sure to clear your browser cache after applying the patch.
- Test the help link.
- Test the logout link with the intranetbookbag preference on and off.
- Open a patron's account and click "search to hold." Log out, and log
in again. Koha should not remember the patron you chose before
logging out (as seen from a search results page).

A grep on the stylesheet names revealed that similar code was used in those
template files.
This patch moves the code from doc-head-close.inc to a new include file.
Now, doc-head-close and the help templates refer to that one file.
Test plan:
If you tested the preceding two patches, now you only need to:
1) Check included css via page source in browser from staff main page.
2) Check it also from some other location.
3) Check again from Help: e.g. /cgi-bin/koha/help.pl
4) Check again from Edit Help: /cgi-bin/koha/edithelp.pl

This restores consistency between opac and staff.

The link to patron files doesn't appear on some pages. That's because
the link was added to circ-menu.inc but not circ-menu.tt. Each is used
by different patron-related pages. This patch adds the missing link.
To test, enable the EnableBorrowerFiles system preference and view
members/pay.pl or members.paycollect.pl. The "Files" tab should appear
in the left-hand sidebar menu. Other patron pages should show the same.
Edit: Corrected scope of template variables which shouldn't have been
copied directly from circ-menu.inc without changing scope.

Adds a course reserves system for academic libraries.
The course reserves system allows libraries to create courses
and put items on reserves for those courses.
Each item with at least one reserve can have some of its attributes
modified while it is on reserve for at least one active course.
These attributes include item type, collection code, shelving location,
and holding library. If there are no active courses with this item
on reserve, it's attributes will revert to the original attributes
it had before going on reserve.
Test Plan:
1) Create new authorised value categories DEPARTMENT and TERM
2) Create a new course, add instructors to that course.
3) Reserve items for that course, verify item attributes have changed.
4) Disable course, verify item attributes have reverted.
5) Enable course again, verify item attributes again.
6) Delete course, verify item attributes again.
7) Create two new courses, add the same item(s) to both courses.
8) Disable one course, verify item attributes have not reverted.
9) Disable both courses, verify item attributes have reverted.
10) Enable one course, verify item attributes are again set to the
new values.
11) Edit reserve item attributes, verify.
12) Disable all courses, edit reserve item attributes, verify
the item itself still has its original attributes, verify
the reserve item attributes have been updated.
13) Verify the ability to remove instructors from a course.
14) Verify new permissions, top level coursereserves, with

The patron header search form is now too wide to display correctly on
screens smaller than about 1110px. This patch groups the
previously shown-by-default choices with the hidden additional
search parameters.
To test, apply the patch and view any page which includes the patron
header search include, for example members/members-home.pl. Additional
search options should be hidden by default. Clicking "[+]" should show
all additional options: Search fields, search type, order by, library,
and category.

The logic of the JavaScript for showing and hiding additional options in
the orders search form wasn't quite right, resulting in the +/- control
being hidden incorrectly.
This patch corrects and simplifies the JS in order to fix the problem.
To test:
- Open any page in Acquisitions which shows the orders search
form in the header search bar (for instance, Acquisitions home).
- Open the orders search tab and click on the "+" to show more
options.
- Click the "-" to hide the additional options. The additional options
should now be hidden and the "+" displayed.

While the tablesorter plugin has not been completely eliminated from the
staff client yet, there are no more instances where it requires the
include file for showing paging controls. table-pager.inc can be safely
removed.
To test, apply the patch and confirm that the file is gone. A search of
Koha templates for references to table-pager.inc should return no
results.

Several JS alert messages contain "\n" which is problematic for
translation. This patch removes those instances (a line break is not
strictly necessary anyway). Also corrected: two instances of "holds(s)"
To test, place a hold on a title with items. From the biblio detail page
choose Edit -> Delete all items and Edit -> Delete record. In each case
you should see error messages with no line breaks and no misspellings.
Delete all items attached to the record with holds from the item edit
page. Go back to the detail page and choose Edit -> Delete record. You
should see an error message about existing hold(s) with no line breaks
or misspellings.

before them:

This patch cleans up templates where labels in this context lack a
colon. Exceptions to this rule include radio buttons, checkboxes, and
labels inside tables.

The routing list tab displays on patron pages even if the RoutingSerials
preference is OFF. Display of the tab should be conditional on that pref
being turned on.
This patch adds a check for the RoutingSerials preference to the menu
include files and amends the affected scripts to make the variable
available on the pages where those includes are used.
To test, view the following pages with RoutingSerials both on and off.

When renewing a patron from the patron details page, ensure that
the "Patron's account has been renewed until XXX" is actually
displayed.
This patch introduces a was_renewed CGI and template parameter
to clarify the intent of the relevent template sections.
To test:
- Before applying the patch, renew a patron from the patron
details page and verify that you don't see the renewal confirmation.
- After applying the patch, renew the patron from the details page
and verify that the "Patron's account has been renewed until XXX"
message shows up.
- Renew the patron from the checkout page and verify that the confirmation
message shows up.

If you do not have SMSSendDriver set and you do not have a message_transport_type of "sms", you will get an extra table column filled with a hyphen "-" and no corresponding table heading in the Patron Messaging Preferences table.
This pushes the table out of alignment so the email checkbox goes under "Digests Only?", the digests checkbox goes under "Do not notify", and the Do not notify checkbox is pushed to the side with no heading.

The patron card creator's batch edit page uses an include file to
display buttons styled by YUI. Bootstrap should be used instead.
This patch moves the contents of the include file into the main
template, this being the only page which requires it. YUI markup and
code has been removed and Bootstrap markup is added. The include file is
deleted.
To test, edit a batch of patrons in the patron card creator. Each
toolbar button should look correct and work correctly:
- Add item(s)
- Remove item(s)
- Delete batch
- Remove duplicates (Keeping Bug 9535 in mind)
- Export item(s)
- Export batch

With the addition of the Plugins feature a link was added to the global
navigation in the "More" submenu. I think this is unnecessary. The
global navigation should be limited to primary Koha functons.
This patch removes the link. To test, apply the patch and confirm that
there is no longer a link to Plugins in the header navigation under
"More."

This patch adds the jQuery "Validation" plugin
(http://docs.jquery.com/Plugins/Validation) and includes it by
default in the staff client along with an include file containing
translatable strings for all of the plugin's possible messages.
The staff client's main JavaScript file has been modified to perform
automatic validation of any form with the class "validated."
For a simple example I have modified the library entry form
to mark required fields as required (something which had not
been done before). Each required field has been given a class,
"required" and the HTML5 attribute "required." The former adds
the hook for the plugin, the latter adds browser-based validation
in recent browsers (and which will be superceded by the plugin
if JavaScript is enabled).
This will check for inputs classed "required" without any
additional configuration. More complex forms (with specific
data types, for instance) will require more inline JavaScript
configuration.

Also added to the library entry form are checks on the email and URL
fields via classes ("email" and "url", respectively). This demonstrates
validation of content without forcing the field to be required.
To test, go to Administration -> Libraries and Groups and choose
"New library." Submit the form without entering a library code
or name. You should be prevented from submitting the form and be
shown an error message by each field. Perform the same check with an
existing entry.
To test browser-based validation, disable JavaScript and follow
the same procedure.
Revision rebases the patch against current master and adds missing
"//<
