This patch moves generic initializations of Bootstrap tooltips into
staff-global.js.
Templates which included custom tooltip initialization have been updated
to use the global function.

This patch revises the markup for disabled dropdown menu items to
conform to Bootstrap 5 requirements. The patch also revises many
instances of Bootstrap tooltips which were not working -- tooltips which
should be shown with many of the disable dropdown items.
In BS5, a tooltip can't be attached to a disabled link. Instead the
tooltip must be attached to the link's container. These changes also
include the addition of "aria-disabled='true'" to the disabled menu
items.

This patch updates the OPAC and staff interface to use Bootstrap 5.
Bootstrap CSS assets are now pulled from node_modules and compiled into
staff-global.css and opac.css at build time. This update lays the
foundations of some other chnages, especially the addition of a dark
mode in the future.
Hundreds of templates have been updated, mostly with updates to the grid
markup. Most of the responsive behavior is still the same with the
exception of improved flexibility of headers and footers in both the
OPAC and staff interface.
The other most common change is to add a new "namespace" to data
attributes used by Bootstrap, e.g. "data-bs-target" or "data-bs-toggle".
Modal markup has also been updated everywhere. Other common changes:
dropdown button markup, alert markup (we now use Bootstrap's "alert
alert-warning" and "alert alert-info" instead of our old "dialog alert"
and "dialog info").
Bootstrap 5 now uses CSS variables which we can override in our own
'_variables.scss' (in both the OPAC and staff) to accomplish a lot of
the style overrides which we previously put in staff-global.scss.

Digests are not available via Talking Tech, but the artificial limit should not be in place for the non-TT phone notices. If only phone is selected, digest remains disabled.
Test Plan:
1) Apply this patch
2) Enable TalkingTechPhoneNotification
3) Verify behavior hasn't changed
4) Disable TalkingTechPhoneNotification, Enable PhoneNotification
5) Note disgest option is now selectable if only phone is selected

This patch removes the definition of translatable strings out of
templates and into the corresponding JavaScript file, using the new JS
i81n function.
Note: I was unable to trigger the confirmation message in the
check_form_borrowers function. I think the form is now structured in a
way that it is never triggered, thus a candidate for removal.
To test:
- Apply the patch and go to Patrons.
- Add or edit a patron.
- Select a date of birth at least one month in the past and confirm that
the patron's age is displayed in the hint below.
- Test multiple variations to confirm that the singular and plural of
'year' and 'month' display correctly. (e.g. 1 year 9 months, 2 years,
etc).
- Set some patron messaging preferences for the patron.
- Change the patron category.
- You should get a confirmation: "Change messaging preferences to
default for this category?"
TESTING TRANSLATABILITY
- Update a translation, e.g. fr-FR:
> cd misc/translator
> perl translate update fr-FR
- Open the corresponding .po file for JavaScript strings, e.g.
misc/translator/po/fr-FR-messages-js.po
- Locate strings pulled from
koha-tmpl/intranet-tmpl/prog/js/members.js for translation, e.g.:
msgid "%s years"
msgstr ""
- Edit the "msgstr" string however you want (it's just for testing).
- Install the updated translation:
> perl translate install fr-FR
- Switch to your newly translated language in the staff client
and repeat the test plan above. The translated strings should
appear.

8 - Note checkboxes for digest are checked and enabled
9 - Save patron and confirm options are saved

1 - Define default messaging preferences for a patron category
2 - Go into an existing account and change the patron category to the
one set in step 1.
3 - Confirm that the messaging prefs have been reset to that of the
default patron category
4 - Apply patch
5 - Repeat Step 2, this time you should see a warning asking if you want
to set messaging prefs to the category default
6 - Press OK and save. Confirm that the messaging prefs are now set to
the default for that category
7 - Try it again with an existing account and press Cancel this time.
Notice that there should be no change to the patron messaging prefs.
8 - Try making a new patron and switching the category, you should see
no warning and the message prefs should be proberly set to the
defaults of any category you choose.

By default, only the email transport is enabled. This gives the
messaging preferences the look of having email and digest and two
options. I.E. to some users it appears that you check email for single
emails, *or* you check digest for a digest email.
To help remove this possible confusion, the digest mode checkbox should
be disabled if no digest-able transports are checked for a given notice.
Test Plan:
1) Apply this patch
2) For both the staff interface and the opac, note that the digest
checkbox is disabled any time that no digest enabled transport (
email, sms if enabled ) is checked for the patron editor.

This patch removes a block of JavaScript from memberentrygen.tt which
was being included in the page before jQuery is loaded. This causes a
JavaScript error.
To test, apply the patch, regenerate CSS, and clear your browser cache
if necessary.
- In Administration -> Patron categories, confirm that you have two
patron categories with different default messaging preferences
defined.
- Go to Patrons -> New patron
- Create a new patron using one of the categories with messaging
preferences.
- Confirm that when you switch the category selection to the other
patron category, the patron messaging preference checkboxes are
changed to the default for that category.
- A "Loading" indicator should appear above the checkboxes to show
that an operation is in process. It should disappear when new
default prefs are loaded.
- Manually change one or more patron messaging preference checkboxes.
- Switch the patron category again and confirm that you are prompted
to confirm resetting the preferences to the default for that
category.
- Perform the same set of tests when editing a patron.
- Defaults should not be loaded during the edit process.
- Confirm that there are no other JavaScript errors in the console.
- Test again with EnhancedMessagingPreferences disabled.

This patch modifies the staff client patron module templates so that
JavaScript is included in the footer instead of the header.
This patch touches a lot of files because the changes are all
interdependent, affecting a couple of module-wide include files.
To test, apply the patch and test the JavaScript-driven features of the
modified templates: All button controls, DataTables functionality, tabs,
etc.
