Bug 24545: Fix license statements
Bug 9978 should have fixed them all, but some were missing. We want all the license statements part of Koha to be identical, and using the GPLv3 statement. Bug 20891: Escape html then JSON
To my understanding we need to escape first html chars then to JSON. If this patch works we will need to rethink the 'To' TT plugin. It was originally designed to have several escape methods, but with these changes it will not make sense to name it 'To' if used only to escape JSON IIRC we should keep the 2 different ways to use it: * [% To.json( string ) %] * [% string | $To %] otherwise it will be hard to use it when called in argument of patron-title.inc (`git grep To.json`) Signed-off-by: Liz Rea <wizzyrea@gmail.com> Signed-off-by: Katrin Fischer <katrin.fischer.83@web.de> Signed-off-by: Nick Clemens <nick@bywatersolutions.com> |

Bug 19655: Make To.json escape doesn't escape newlines to create valid JSON
JSON does not allow real line-breaks. If a field contains them and they are not escaped, a JSON parser will be unable to convert the stringified JSON back into an object. This is clearly exemplified by the guarantor search, where a multi-line note on the guarantor's record will break the ability to select that guarantor. Test Plan: 1) Create Patron A with a "Circulation note" that has multiple lines in it 2) Create Patron B 3) Attempt to set Patron A to be the guarantor for Patron B 4) Note selecting the patron does nothing 5) Apply this patch 6) Repeat step 3 7) Selecting the guarantor now works! Bug 14044: Escape json strings for patron searches
In a couple of patron searches, the address is displayed. If the address contain invalid json characters, DataTables won't manage to parse the results and display them. This patch makes the templates more readable by creating a BLOCK instead of a long line and escape the invalid json characters calling the TT plugin (To.json). Test plan: Edit a patron and add something like: patron <address> \123 ☎ ⚑ in the address field. Search for this patron using the main patron search (members/member.pl) and the guarantor search. Confirm that a result with this patron is correctly displayed. Regression test: Since Koha::Template::Plugin::To::json is modified, confirm that the add users to basket search (on acqui/basket.pl?basketno=X click on the "Add user" button) still works as expected. Bug 13021: guarantor search - main patch
This patch is the main patch. The "common" template is improved to allow different type of picking: "add" or "select". The first one appends a patron to a list, the second one selects the patron and close the result search window. The members/guarantor_search.pl has completly changed but is quite the same file as acqui/add_user_search.pl. Both should exist: they don't belong to the same module (acqui vs members), the picking type is different (add vs select) and the columns are not the same. The changes in the common template are very powerful, it's now possible to list the column we want! This will be very useful for further reusability. Before this patch, all patrons mathing the pattern were return. Now only the first 20 are (depends on the DataTables selected value). For QA: This patch introduces a new template plugin "To", for now it permits to convert a perl structure to json. In the idea, it could permit to convert foo to bar too. Test plan: 1/ Verify there is no regression in the guarantor search. When the selection has been done, all data from the guarantor should fill the form in the "main address" section. Note that the request is done when the search input in not empty and the user stop to write for 1 sec. 2/ Verify there is no regression on the 2 other pages where this patron search is used: link a patron to an order and to a basket (in the acquisition module). Bug 13019 - Add base classes on which to build Koha objects
The idea behind this is to have a pair of base classes on which to build our new generation of Koha objects. Koha::Object is a base class, which in it's most basic form, is to represent a row in a table. For example, Koha::Borrower inherits from Koha::Object. So too could Koha::Biblio and Koha::Item for example. Koha::Objects is to represent a way to fetch and manipulate sets of objects. For example, Koha::Borrowers has a method to get a Koha::Borrower object by id and a method to search for an get a list of Koha::Borrower objects. Right now Koha::Objects has only the essentials but can easily be extended and those enhancements will be passed down to all the child classes based on it. By using these classes as a base, we will add consistency to our code, allow us to keep our code DRY, reduce bugs, and encapsulate our database access among other benefits. Test Plan: 1) Apply this patch 2) prove t/Object.t t/db_dependent/Object.t t/db_dependent/Objects.t Signed-off-by: Jonathan Druart <jonathan.druart@biblibre.com> Signed-off-by: Marcel de Rooy <m.de.rooy@rijksmuseum.nl> Signed-off-by: Kyle M Hall <kyle@bywatersolutions.com> Signed-off-by: Tomas Cohen Arazi <tomascohen@gmail.com> |

Barcodes - OO replacements, extensible module, tests.
This code is intended to replace current value_builder code in 3.2, but it does not affect it directly (yet) and is safe to include in 3.0. This structure will be used to handle more complicated formats, like those with checkdigits. Please note that "incremental" format is still STRONGLY recommended because it will always perform the best, and most flexibly. The desire to include other information (like branchcode) should compel the proper use of the barcode generator to print the info ON the barcode, not IN the barcode. One of the nicer features of this structure is that you are able to create a new barcode (of the same type) based on any previous Barcodes object. That means you can create an array of 51 consecutive barcodes like: my $x = C4::Barcodes->new('annual'); # for example my @set = ($x); for (1..50) { push @set, $x=$x->new; } Importantly, this can happen without referencing the database after the first constructor.
