b4740d3dff Bug 27740: (follow-up) changed welcome user to <p>
In the 'user_summary block', the "Welcome, user" was an <h3>. This has
been changed to a <p> as it isn't really a heading.

The styling can be changed to make it appear as it was before, or to
make it appear more significant on the page.

To test:
1) Go to the OPAC
2) Go to the home page
3) Go to the 'user_summary' block
4) Check that the part where is says "Welcome, user" is now a <p>

19af6f9b37 Bug 28134: Replace use of input type number in onboarding templates
This patch changes the instances of input of type="number" to input
type="text" with attributes inputmode="numeric" and pattern="[0-9]*"

To test, apply the patch and run through the process of installing Koha.
When you reach onboarding step 2, "Create a patron category," check the
enrollment period -> "In months" field. The field should not accept any
input except numbers.

Continue onboarding until step 5, "Create a new circulation rule." On
this page, check that these fields accept only numbers:

 - Current checkouts allowed
 - Loan period
 - Renewals allowed
 - Renewals period
 - Holds allowed (total)
 - Holds allowed (daily)
 - Holds per record (count)

c18d683f99 Bug 27865: Pass the x-koha-override header to PUT /holds/:hold_id from the patron's page
This patch makes the AJAX call to update an existing hold, pass the
'x-koha-override' header with the value of 'any', so any pickup location
policy override that is needed, is applied.

As the override is taken into account only if AllowHoldPolicyOverride is
enabled, this in fact restores the previous behavior.

To test:
1. Have a patron with a hold
2. Have AllowHoldPolicyOverride set to 'yes'
3. Try changing the pickup location to an invalid one
=> FAIL: The options are the same as before 27205, yet the AJAX call
fails because of invalid pickup location.
4. Apply this patch
5. Repeat 3
=> SUCCESS: The API call succeeds, and the hold is updated (it is
actually refetch, so just verify it has the value you selected

This patch makes the form for placing a hold, use the API to retrieve
the valid pickup locations for a biblio.

To test:
1 - In Circulation and fines rules > Default checkout, hold and return policy, change 'Hold pickup library match' to 'item's home library'
2 - Set AllowHoldPolicyOverride system preference to Allow
3 - Try placing a hold on a biblio with several items.
Ensure that there is one item with homebranch of the patrons branch and
    one at another branch
4 - Note the pickup location dropdown lists all branches, even those not matching the policy (Item's home library)
5 - FAIL: There's no sign they are overrides to rules

1b1dbee18f Bug 28170: Fix upload.tt search result buttons for page two onwards
From https://datatables.net/faqs/index

"When attaching events to cells in a table controlled by DataTables, you need
to be careful how it is done. Because DataTables removes nodes from the DOM,
events applied with a static event listener might not be able to bind
themselves to all nodes in the table."

Before this patch, there were three non-functional buttons on upload search
result page, "+ Choose", "Download" and "Delete".

This patch binds the handlers to a static element so that the three buttons
in upload.tt on page two onwards are functional again.

To test:
1. This test is for the "Download" and "Delete" buttons
1.1. Before applying patch, go to cgi-bin/koha/tools/upload.pl
1.2. Make sure you have at least 21 files uploaded
1.3. Perform a search via "Search term" form so that at least 21 results are
returned (e.g. a dot (.) as the search term should return all files with
     filetype)
1.4. Press "Download" and "Delete" for the first result row, it should work
as expected (no need to actually delete the file - as long as it pops up
a confirmation, it works as expected)
1.5. Go to page 2 of results
1.6. Press "Download" and "Delete" for the first result in page 2
1.7. Observe nothing happening
1.8. Apply patch
1.9. Repeat steps 3-6
1.10. Observe buttons working as expected

2. This test is for the "+ Choose" button
2.1. Go to cgi-bin/koha/admin/marc_subfields_structure.pl?op=add_form&tagfield=856&frameworkcode=#subufield
2.2. Under "Other options (choose one), for "Plugin", select "upload.pl"
2.3. Find a biblio and click Edit Record
2.4. Go to 856$u and click "Upload"
2.5. Repeat steps 1.1. - 1.10., but this time for the "+ Choose" button

This patch fixes the tests for when a negative amount is passed to the

methods and has been deprecated to ensure consistent amounts handling.

631cd5d8a7 Bug 28169: Add quotes around value in template to render proper JS
There is code in request.tt:

    homebranch: "[% ... %]",
    holdallowed: [% ... %]

There only digits where expected earlier in holdallowed
but now it can be string value ('from_any_library' for example),
so it should be in quotes.

To reproduce the problem:
1. Add circulation rules which allow 1 hold only to the itemtype
2. Make sure AllowHoldPolicyOverride syspref enabled
3. Make 1 hold to patron for any biblio which has a few items available,
for example on "reset_all dev db set":
   /cgi-bin/koha/reserve/request.pl?biblionumber=4&findborrower=1
(this biblio record has 4 items)
4. Start another hold for same patron on any biblio record or the same,
and keep browser's JS console open,
for example on "reset_all dev db set":
   /cgi-bin/koha/reserve/request.pl?biblionumber=4&findborrower=1
5. You should see now JS error in browser console:
Uncaught ReferenceError: from_any_library is not defined
Uncaught ReferenceError: columns_settings_borrowers_table is not defined
6. Apply the patch
7. Repeat the steps 4-5 (reload the page) and now the JS error should be gone

9abbdf7065 Bug 27790: separate earliest hold date into two different columns
Currently "Earliest hold date" and "Pickup place" are displayed
in one single column, but to make filtering possible it is necessary
to split those fields into separate ones.
This patch does exactly that and adds sorting list drop down feature to
the "Pickup place" column.

To reproduce:
    1) Make a few holds and head over to "Circulations->Holds to pull".
    2) Ensure that pickup place and earliest hold date are
in the same column "Earliest hold date"
    3) Apply the patch.
    4) Check "Circulations->Holds to pull list" again, this time
booking date and pickup place should have their own columns.
Ensure that filtering by "pickup location" works fine.

cff7ed4fd3 Bug 26734: Convert printfeercpt/printinvoice to use GetPreparedLetter
This patch updates C4::Letters to allow use of existing koha template
includes from notices, then updates the printfeercpt and printinvoice
slip print option to use GetPreparedLetter rather than calling getletter
directly.

As part of this work, we also add credits and debits handling to the
_parseletter_sth and _get_tt_params routines in C4::Letters to allow for
recognisable variable names in the notice template.

Test plan
1/ Update the ACCOUNT_CREDIT and ACCOUNT_DEBIT notices to use
'accounts.inc' include for account descriptions
1a/ Add `[% PROCESS 'accounts.inc' %]` to the top of the notice
1b/ Replace manual account descriptions with `[% PROCESS
account_type_description account=credit %]`
2/ Print one of each slip and check that descriptions are properly
substituted

are properly substituted.

bb5f0eea74 Bug 27924: Display number of holds awaiting pickup on check out screens
This patch modifies the checkout page so that waiting holds are
displayed separately depending on whether they are waiting at the
current branch or not. A count of each number of waiting holds is
displayed too.

Unrelated change: A missing </li> has been added for markup validity.

To test, apply the patch and view the checkout screen in these
situations:

 - A patron with no waiting holds.
 - A patron with one or more holds waiting at the current library.
 - A patron with one or more holds waiting at another library.
 - A patron with holds waiting at both the current library and at other
   libraries.

In each case, the display of waiting hold information should be correct,
including the count of holds of each kind.

0b2fbcb66d Bug 27814: Improve responsive behavior of the user page in the OPAC
This patch makes minor changes to OPAC CSS in order to improve the way
the logged-in user's "your account" page works at narrower browser
widths.

To test, apply the patch and rebuild the OPAC CSS
(https://wiki.koha-community.org/wiki/Working_with_SCSS_in_the_OPAC_and_staff_client).

 - Log in to the OPAC as a user who has multiple checkouts.
 - Test the page at various browser widths, from > 1200 pixels wide to <
300 pixels wide. Your browser's built-in responsive design mode,
found in developer tools, can make these measurements easier.
 - At "phone-size" width the tabs ("Checked out," "Overdue," etc) should
   start displaying full-width.
 - The DataTable controls at the top of the checkouts table should
adapt well as the browser width changes.
 - At narrower widths the tables on this page should display much better
than they did before the patch: They should expand to fit the width
   of the page.

Edit: Tweaked the display property of the table search field at narrower
browser widths; Converted iCal download link to button to match other
elements in the toolbar.

4cc224baa7 Bug 27566: (follow-up) Add generic font family to prevent unstyled select tags
This correction fixes the previous patch which was dumb and stupid.

This patch adds a default font family "sans-serif" to the OPAC CSS as a
workaround for this Firefox bug:

font-family isn't honored in `<option>` element within `<select>`
dropdown
https://bugzilla.mozilla.org/show_bug.cgi?id=1536148

To test, apply the patch and rebuild the OPAC CSS
(https://wiki.koha-community.org/wiki/Working_with_SCSS_in_the_OPAC_and_staff_client).

 - Open the OPAC main page in Firefox.
 - Click the search type dropdown. The options should be styled using
your system's default sans-serif font rather than a serif font.
 - Check that other areas of the OPAC are still styled with the correct
"NotoSans" font. An error with this patch should be obvious when
   looking at a logged-in user's checkouts.

34575f1f1a Bug 28168: leave the field empty if amount variable is empty
Add "if" check to the template so that it uses the value of
"debit_type.default_amount" only if it's true, i.e. not null or 0.

The reason for this patch is there's requirement from librarians -
to have this field completely empty if it's 0, so they could paste the
amount (as they usually do) without the need to clear the field first.
And anyway if you try to save the form with 0.00 value,
it won't accept it saying "Debit amount passed is not positive" so
in my opinion there's no point to preset it with zeroes to begin with.

To reproduce:
    1) head to /cgi-bin/koha/members/maninvoice.pl?borrowernumber=XXXX
    and check that field "Amount" is prefilled with 0.00;
    2) apply patch;
    3) refresh page and ensure that field "Amount" is empty now;
    4) go to /cgi-bin/koha/admin/debit_types.pl and change default
    amount to some decimal amount;
    5) refresh manual invoice page again and ensure that "Amount"
    field is prefilled with that exact decimal number;

4 - The message will be 'Too many holds'
5 - Apply patch and repeat
6 - Message should be "Cannot place hold: no item are available to be placed on hold"
7 - Try placing a multihold with either record above and a holdable record,
message should end "Cannot place hold on some items'

983feccf64 Bug 27644: (follow-up) Wrap strings in translation function
This patch updates the in-template JavaScript so that some English
strings which were previously untranslatable. This patch wraps them in
the _() function.

To test, apply the patch and test that the correct strings are
translatable. In this example I'm testing fr-FR:

- Update a translation:

  > gulp po:update
  > cd misc/translator
  > perl translate update fr-FR

- Open the corresponding .po file for the strings pulled from
  JavaScript e.g. misc/translator/po/fr-FR-staff-prog.po
- Locate strings pulled from reports/guided_reports_start.tt for
  translation, e.g.:

  #: koha-tmpl/intranet-tmpl/prog/en/modules/reports/guided_reports_start.tt:1324
  #, fuzzy, c-format
  msgid "Authorized value category:"
msgstr "Catégorie de valeur autorisée&nbsp;: "

- Edit the "msgstr" string if necessary, or remove the "fuzzy," before
  "c-format"
- Install the updated translation:

  > perl translate install fr-FR

In the staff interface, switch to the language you're testing. Confirm
that your translated strings appear. In this case, test in particular:

 - The controls on the modal window when you preview a report's SQL from
   the list of saved reports.
 - The controls and modal dialog for inserting a runtime parameter.

This patch adds a button menu to the SQL report CodeMirror editor for
inserting runtime parameters. Each menu item triggers a modal dialog

option.

To test, apply the patch and rebuild the staff client CSS
(https://wiki.koha-community.org/wiki/Working_with_SCSS_in_the_OPAC_and_staff_client).

- Go to Reports -> Use saved.
- Create or edit a report.
- You should see a menu button above the SQL editor field, "Insert
  runtime parameter."
- The menu should contain the options "Authorized value," "Date," "Item
types," "Libraries," "Patron categories," and "Text field."
- Test each option. Each should trigger the display of a modal dialog
with a heading which corresponds to your choice.
- In all cases except the "Authorized value" choice you should see a
  single form field for "label."
- Enter text in the label field and click the "Insert parameter" button.
- The correct runtime parameter should be inserted into the SQL editor.
  - If you placed a cursor somewhere in the SQL editor first, your
parameter should be inserted in that location in the editor.
  - If you selected some text in the editor before selecting a
parameter, the paramter should replace the selected text.
- In the case of the "Authorized value" selection, the modal dialog
should include both a label field and a field for choosing an
  authorized value category.
- Try submitting the form without selecting an authorized value. It
should warn you that the field is required.
- After testing the authorized value selection, try inserting another
parameter to confirm that the authorized value selection (now hidden)
  is no longer required.

eeca29afed Bug 23243: Restore filtering out historic expired subscriptions
The 'Check Expiration' page in Serials is now hardcoded to display all

and the date entered.

Original code taken from bug 6968 autored by Maxime Pelletier, rebased
by Charles Farmer and then moved to a new report and rebased again by
Martin Renvoize.

Test plan:
1) Without the patch any results after a search from this page will
result in matches both before after todays date (but before the date
   you entered).

displayed in a message :
"Item is withdrawn".

Like Bug 21877 we should display the withdrawn authorized value description during check-in.

This patch adds this display.

Text changed in order to look maximum like in checkout :
a57278f39b/koha-tmpl/intranet-tmpl/prog/en/modules/circ/circulation.tt (L368)
Uses class 'ci-withdrawn' to ease hidding this new information via CSS.

Test plan :
1) On a catalog with items.withdrawn defined with authorized values
   category WITHDRAWN
2) Define in WITHDRAWN an authorized values 1 with description
  'dropped in trash'
3) Define in WITHDRAWN an authorized values 2 with description
   empty
4) Check-out an item
5) Edit this item with withdrawn=1
6) Check-in this item => You see 'Item has been withdrawn (dropped
   in trash)'
7) Edit this item with withdrawn=2
8) Check-in this item => You see 'Item has been withdrawn'

63cc298016 Bug 18912: Display more info when using itemBarcodeFallbackSearch
Using itemBarcodeFallbackSearch entering a barcode on checkout will do a keyword
search and provide you with a list of items matching the search term for checkout.
This allows checking out items, where there is no barcode in the item (you still need
a dummy barcode in Koha).

At the moment the table of items to choose from will only chow the title and the dummy barcode.

In order to make it more useful and easier to identify the correct item,
we should show more information here:

- callnumber (952$o)
- serial enumeration (952$h)
- copy number (952$t)
- inventory number (952$i)

(description copier from comment 0)

Test plan:
- Turn on itemBarcodeFallbackSearch
(If you have ES you need bug 27597)
- Check an item out using "street" or a search that will return several
items
- Note that you have now more info about the items

- Make sure you have fill address information entered for at least one
  library.
- In the OPAC, view the "Libraries" page.
- Check that the format of the library addresses is correct when using
any of the three address formats: de, fr, and us.

a58cf90a31 Bug 26533: Fix 'is exactly' search for authorities
The exact search 6=3 is implemented, but it isn't used as expected when
you select 'is exactly' from the authorities search dropdown. This patch
remedies that.

To test:
1) Ensure you have an authority with more than one word in the name,
    i.e. Electric power production
2) Go to Authorities in the staff client.
3) Change the dropdown to 'is exactly' and search for one of the words
in your record's title, i.e. 'power' in the 'main heading' search
4) Confirm your authority shows in the results, even though it is not an
exact match.
5) Search for a biblio record and go to edit the record.
6) Go to Tab 6 and click the plugin button next to one of the 6xx$a
fields to trigger the authority finder plugin
7) Repeat Step 3 and Step 4
8) Go to the OPAC and go to Authority Search
9) Repeat Step 3 and Step 4

Apply patch

10) Repeat Steps 1 to 9, confirm that this time the record does NOT show
in search results.
11) Repeat Steps 1 to 9 but this time search for the authority record's
full title, i.e. 'Electric power production'. Confirm the record does
show in the search results because the search term now matches title exactly.

This patch modifies the display of unique holidays and holiday
exceptions so that dates in the past are hidden by default. A
corresponding "Show past entries" checkbox can be checked to show the
hidden entries.

To test you should have some unique holidays and holiday exceptions in
your system from the past and in the future.

 - Apply the patch and go to Tools -> Calendar
 - In the tables of existing holidays, check that no dates in the past
appear in the "Exceptions" or "Unique holidays" tables.
 - Checking the checkbox at the top of each of these tables should
trigger the display of the hidden rows.

4625df3228 Bug 28055: (follow-up) Revert changes to aoColumnDefs option name
This patch undoes changes to two lines in columns_settings.inc which
were triggering unwanted side-effects. There are several templates and
JavaScript files which use "aoColumnDefs" to pass options to columns
settings, and if we change this file without changing those at the same
time things will break.

When these lines are updated it must be done so at the same time as we
modify the templates which pass that same option.

5844622665 Bug 28066: Remove select tag's size attribute where it is 1
This patch removes the "size" attribute from <select> tags where the
value of the attribute is 1. The attribute is unnecessary because the
default value when the attribute is undefined is 1.

This will allow for more careful sizing of <select> tags without a size
attribute while preserving the desired behavior of <select> tags which
have a size greater than 1.

The patch modifies 83 files but makes the same minor corrections to
each. I think examining the diff is sufficent, or testing a
representative set of pages:

 - Administration -> MARC frameworks -> MARC structure -> Edit tag:
   The "Authorized value" select.
 - Patrons -> New patron: The "Library" select.
 - Reports -> Patrons with no checkouts: The "Into an
   application" selects.

848993a24a Bug 27607: Add the ability to compare patron records during merge process
This patch adds an option to compare two patron records during the
patron merge process. It can't work with more than two patrons, so the
option only appears if one has selected only two patrons to merge.

This patch also adds links to the patron names for opening the patron
record in a new tab.

To test, apply the patch and perform a search for patrons in the staff
client Patrons module.

 - Select two patrons in the list of search results and click "Merge
   selected patrons."
 - On the merge patron records page, confirm that the two patron names
are links which, when clicked, open the patron details in another
   tab.
 - Click a radio button to select the patron whose record will be
the basis of the merge. The "Compare patrons" button and "Merge
patrons" should go from disabled to enabled.
 - Click the "Compare patrons" button. A modal window should display
highlighting the differences in some selected values in the patron
record. The patron you selected as the basis for the merge should
   appear on the left.
 - Close the modal and select the other patron as the basis of the
merge. "Compare patrons" again. The other patron should now appear in
the left pane of the comparison.
 - Test that the "Merge patrons" button in the modal window works
correctly to submit the merge form and that the correct patron is
used as the basis for merging.
 - Repeat the same process above but select more than two patrons for
merging. The "Compare patrons" button should not appear.

d4eb9abba1 Bug 27749: Phase out jquery.cookie.js: Search to hold
This patch modifies the "search to hold" process for patrons and clubs
so that the newer jquery-cookie plugin is used instead of jquery.cookie.

To test, apply the patch and locate a patron in the staff interface.

 - From the patron checkout or details page, click "Search to hold" in
   the toolbar."
 - Perform a catalog search which will return results.
 - On the search results page you should see a "Place hold for..." link
with the correct patron information under each result.
 - In the toolbar above the search results you should see a "Place hold"
button with a dropdown menu which also references the patron you
   selected.
 - Test that each option works to place a hold for your patron.
 - Test that the "Forget..." menu option works to remove "place hold
   for" options.
 - Test that your "Place hold for" option is also remembered on the
   bibliographic detail page.

To test the changes to Patron Clubs:

 - If necessary, create a patron club:
   https://koha-community.org/manual/20.11/en/html/tools.html?highlight=club#patron-clubs
 - Add one or more patrons to the club:

- Click on the link "Found x results in the library's OverDrive
  collection"
- Verify the query string is cut off at the first non-ASCII char,
and that the number of hits is different from the number given
in the link on the previous page
- Apply the patch, restart all the things
- Repeat the search, and verify that the numbers match and that the
query string is intact after clicking on the OverDrive link

Lookin at the code, the same problem seems to be shared between
OverDrive and RecordedBooks. I have applied the same fix to both,
but I do not have access to RecordedBooks, so I have not been able
to verify that the problem exists there and is fixed by my patch.

4df8e3ef02 Bug 28044: Increase specificity of calendar tables CSS
This patch adds increased specificity to the CSS which should add colors
to the tables of holidays. The default DataTable CSS was overriding the
custom color-coding.

This patch also moves the calendar CSS into a separate file.

To test, apply the patch and go to Tools -> Calendar.

If necessary, add at least one of the following:
- Unique holiday
- Holiday repeating weekly
- Holiday repeating monthly
- Holiday exception

In the table listing each kind of holiday, the color of the table header
should match the colors in the "Key" section under Hints. The color
should be correct regardless of how the table is sorted.

d5e7d37d8a Bug 27738: Set fallback for unset DefaultCountryField008 to |||, "no attempt to code"
Current code intended to set a fallback of xxu, an unknown state in the US,
but because the preference is always defined, just sometimes unset, it
actually falls back to three spaces, an invalid value. This patch instead
uses the fallback value ||| which means no attempt to code.

Test plan:
1. Without the patch, verify that the value of the system preference
DefaultCountryField008 is empty.
2. Cataloging - New record - Default framework (if you have the Advanced
editor enabled, Settings - Switch to basic editor, this only applies to the
basic editor)
3. On tab 0, click in the text input for field 008 which fills in default
values, then click the Tag editor button at the end of the field
4. In the popup window, verify that the value for 15-17 is shown as ###
indicating three spaces
5. Apply patch, repeat the steps above, verify that the value is now |||

This patch tweaks the CSS for the advanced search form in the OPAC so
that it adjusts well at various browser widths, including preventing the

widths.

To test, apply the patch and rebuild the OPAC CSS
(https://wiki.koha-community.org/wiki/Working_with_SCSS_in_the_OPAC_and_staff_client).

- In the OPAC, go to the advanced search page.

adding a tooltip that displays the date of birth in ISO format, so I'm
not entirely sure it's the right approach.

Test plan

3aee4f4eca Bug 27936: Clarify AllowItemsOnHoldCheckoutSIP syspref help text
The waiting reserves have always been impossible to checkout via
SIP2. There was some confusion whether this is actually true but if
you check the commit "Bug 25690: Remove duplicated logic in SIP2
checkouts" (338ba1d769) and the removed code around line

  $self->screen_msg("Item is on hold for another patron.");

you will be sure that it has been impossible to checkout waiting holds.

- Click the "Actions" button and choose "Define mappings."
- In the table of form fields, confirm that the "Add" button is styled
  similarly to the "Delete" button.

d156d5a9fe Bug 28032: Button corrections in point of sale pages
This patch corrects some markup inconsistencies in some templates
related to point of sale:

- Point of sale -> Library details. The "btn-xs" class has been added to
"Record cashup" and "Cashup all" buttons.
- Administration -> Debit types and Administration -> Credit types:
  - Font Awesome icons are removed from the "save" and "cancel" controls
in order to keep them consistent with other templates.

367f19f627 Bug 27881: Markup error in masthead-langmenu.inc
Some markup errors were introduced into the masthead-langmenu include
file by Bug 20168, presumably during the update to the dropdown menu
markup:

'<a class="dropdown-item" <a href="'

...resulting in validation errors like "Attribute <a not allowed on
element a at this point." This patch correct the errors.

To test you should have at least two languages enabled in the
OPACLanguages system preference, opaclanguagesdisplay set to "allow,"
and OpacLangSelectorMode set to "top" or "both top and footer."

- Apply the patch and view the OPAC.
- The "Languages" menu at the top of the page should look correct and
  work correctly.
- Validating the source of the page should return no errors related to
  the language menu's markup.

df3a8d2548 Bug 27940: Fix missing email in OpacMaintenance page
To reproduce:

KohaAdminEmailAddress = Some valid email address
OpacMaintenance = Show

OPAC/cgi-bin/koha/maintenance.pl shows this text:

"Koha online catalog is offline for system maintenance. We'll be back
soon! If you have any questions, please contact the site administrator."

"site administrator" is a link, but it only links to "mailto:", the
actual email address from KohaAdminEmailAddress is missing.

To test:
- Apply the patch
- Reload the maintenance page
- Click on the "site administrator" link and verify it contains the
  address from KohaAdminEmailAddress
