Bug 25235: Rename the button instead of alerting when replacing an existing record
Test plan:

Pre-patch
1 - Go to the main Authorities page, search for any authority, click
the Actions menubutton and choose Edit
2 - Note the button saying Z39.50 search
3 - Note the modal alert forcing you to click it
4 - Cancel and cancel again, and in the New authority menubutton choose
    Default
5 - Click the button saying Z39.50 search again, note that it warns you
about replacing your totally blank record

Apply this patch
6 - Edit an existing authority, note the button says "Replace record via
    Z39.50/SRU search"
2 - Click the button, verify it still opens the search window with the
main entry of the record filled in without an alert
3 - Create a new authority, note the button says "Z39.50/SRU search"
4 - Click the button, verify it still opens the search window but
    without an alert

Bug 25022: Display problem in authority editor with repeatable field
This patch corrects an error in the structure of the authority editor
template so that repeating subfields do not generate invalid markup. The
correction was found by comparing with addbiblio.tt.

If you are viewing the diff, please note that some minor whitespace
changes have been made.

To reproduce, clone and and populate any repeatable subfield, save, and
open the authority for editing again. The clones subfield will be
formatting incorrectly, showing bullet points on each line.

To test, apply the patch and reload the authority editor showing the
record with the cloned subfield. It should display correctly.

Bug 7882: Add ability to move and reorder fields in MARC editor
Use jQueryUI sortable to make fields and subfields moveable in the
MARC editor for both records and authorities.

This patch convert items from div's to ul's and consequently alter css
and js to match. It also replace the up arrow with a more adapted icon
(from font awesome).

Primary authorship by Elliott Davis.

To Test:

1. Add or edit a record in cataloguing module.
2. You should be able to move the fields and subfields around.
    - You can click on any part of the element to drag it, the move
icon to the left of the item is a good place to do it.
=> You can only change the order of fields of the same tag.
3. Make sure all of the javascript driven fonctionnality still work :
    - Duplicate fields/subfields
    - Remove fields/subfields
    - Using the tag editor for control fields or to link authorities
    - etc
4. Reorder some fields/subfields and save the record.
5. Edit the record again.
6. The order in the editor should match the changes which were saved.
    - Empty subfields should appear after the ones with content.
7. Repeat steps 1-6 with the authority editor.

22eba6b957 Bug 22979: Remove type attribute from script tags: Authorities
This patch removes the "type" attribute from tags in several
authorities templates. Also removed: Obsolete "// //"
markers.

To test, apply the patch and confirm that examples of affected pages
work properly without any JavaScript errors in the browser console:

- Authorities -> Search -> View authority record
- Authorities -> Search -> Edit authority record
- Cataloging -> New record
   - Trigger the authority search form by clicking the plugin link next
to a tag which has been linked to an authority type (e.g. 100a ->
     Personal name).
   - Search for an authority record.
   - Select an authority record.

Validating the HTML source of any of these pages should return no errors
related to the "type" attribute.

a344b8cf8c Bug 22023: Further improve responsive layout handling of staff client menu bar
This patch makes a number of changes in order to improve the way the
staff client's header menu adjusts at narrower browser widths:

- Updated version of Bootstrap 3.3.7 which includes the "collapse"
   JavaScript plugin.
- Modified default Bootstrap CSS using Bootstrap's customization tool.
These changes facilitate the removal of some custom CSS (overriding
   Bootstrap) from staff-global.scss.
- Added Bootstrap config file for loading customizations at
   https://getbootstrap.com/docs/3.3/customize/
- Revised button classes for buttons in Bootstrap-styled toolbars.

The modified default CSS resets the base font size in Bootstrap to
better match our global CSS. A side-effect of this is that toolbar
buttons ended up looking smaller than they should. Changing the
   button class solves this.

- Restructure the header menu in order to allow different rules to
govern the appearance of the navigational part of the menu
(Circulation, Search, etc) and the user menu (Set library, My
   account, Log out).

- Modify the cart JS to so that the popup works well at narrow widths.

To test, apply the patch, regenerate the staff client CSS, and clear
your browser cache.

- Log in to the staff client and observe the layout of the header menu
as you adjust the browser to various widths.
   - Confirm that sections of the menu "collapse" as the window gets
     narrower.
   - Confirm that dropdown menus behave correctly and that links work.
   - Confirm that the Cart link works as expected when the cart empty
     and when it has items.
- Install and enable multiple translations, including at least one
  set of sub-languages (e.g. fr-FR and fr-CA).
  - Test the appearance of the language menus in the footer at
    various browser widths.
- View pages with button toolbars and confirm that they appear unchanged
(e.g. biblio detail page, patron detail page).

NOTE: While this patch is intended to make improvements to staff client
responsiveness, it does so within a limited scope. There are still many
pages which do not work well at narrower browser widths.

cdd14f05ae Bug 21335: Remove redundant includes of right-to-left.css
Fixes redundant includes of the right-to-left.css file.
There is no need to include it in the .tt files as it's part
of the doc-head-close.inc.

Note:
Make sure your *BaseURL preferences are correctly set as
this will make the switching between languages work
correctly and throw you back to the start page otherwise
  every time you switch

Test:
- Install an RTL language like Arabic (ar-Arab)
- Test various pages with English and RTL language:
  - Authorities home page
  - Adding a new bibliographic record
  - Adding a new item or editing items
  - Advanced cataloguing (Rancor) editor
  - Labels start page
  - OPAC detail page

4b82ed3549 Bug 21751: Replace fixFloat with HC-sticky to fix Chrome display
This patch replaces the fixFloat jQuery plugin with a new one: HC-sticky
(https://github.com/somewebmedia/hc-sticky). This plugin provides the
same functionality without the page-reflow problems fixFloat suffers
from.

To test, apply the patch and regenerate the staff client CSS. Test the
behavior of the floating toolbar on these pages:

- Acquisitions -> Vendor -> Vendor details
- Acquisitions -> Vendor -> View basket
   - On both these pages, test toolbar behavior before and after
expanding the "Orders search" options at the top of the page.
- Administration -> System preferences
- Authorities -> Create or edit an authority
- Catalog -> Advanced search
   - Search results
- Catalog -> Item search
- Cataloging -> Add or edit a record
   - Open the plugin window for the 008 field
- Tools -> Label creator -> New label batch -> Add items -> Search ->
   Results
- Patrons -> New patron
   - Test before and after expanding the patron search options at the
     top of the page
   - Test editing a patron too
- Tools -> Automatic item modifications by age -> Edit
- Tools -> Notices & slips -> Edit
- Lists -> View list

Check that the About page has been updated with information about the
plugin.

2cffe3a574 Bug 21513: Add a 'Cancel' button to the authority editor and remove duplicate 'Save' button
The authority editor (authorities/authorities.pl) does not have
a 'Cancel' button. Also, it has two 'Save' buttons.

This patch fixes that by:
a) adding a 'Cancel' button to the floating toolbar at the top
b) removing the 'Save' button from the bottom of the page

Test plan:
1) Go to Home > Authorities and launch the authority editor by
clicking on 'New authority'. Notice how the editor doesn't
have a 'Cancel' button. Also notice the two 'Save' buttons.
2) Apply the patch.
3) Re-launch the authority editor, and hit cancel; you should
be taken back to Home > Authorities.
4) Edit an existing authority, and hit cancel; you should be
taken back to the details page for the authority you chose.
5) Edit an authority as new (duplicate), and hit cancel; you
should be taken back to Home > Authorities (this behaviour
is mimicking the bibliographic editor: when duplicating a
biblio the 'Cancel' button will take you back to Home >
   Cataloging).

dcd1f5d48c Bug 13618: Add html filters to all the variables
Here we go, next step then.
As we did not fix the performance issue when autofiltering
the variables (see bug 20975), the only solution we have is to add the
filters explicitely.

This patch has been autogenerated (using add_html_filters.pl, see next
pathces) and add the html filter to all the variables displayed in the
template.
Exceptions are made (using the new 'raw' TT filter) to the variable we
already listed in the previous versions of this patch.

To test:
- Use t/db_dependent/Koha/Patrons.t to populate your DB with autogenerated
data which contain tags

- Remove them from borrower_debarments.comments (there are allowed here)
update  borrower_debarments set comment="html tags possible here";

- From the interface hit page and try to catch alert box.
If you find one it means you find a possible XSS.
To know where it comes from:
* note the exact URL where you found it
* note the alert box content
* Dump your DB and search for the string in the dump to identify its
location (for instance table.field)

Next:
* Ideally we would like to use the raw filter when it is not necessary
to HTML escape the variables (in big loop for instance)
* Provide a QA script to catch missing filters (we want html, uri, url
or raw, certainly others that I am forgetting now)
* Replace the html filters with uri when needed (!)

ed7543287b Bug 20538: Remove the need of writing [% KOHA_VERSION %] everywhere
Having to write [% KOHA_VERSION %] for each url is bad because:
- It's easily forgettable when adding new or

- It prevents grep'ing for the full filename
- It violates the DRY principle
- If at some point we want to change the "force js and css reload"
  mechanism, it will be tedious

This patch:
- adds a Template::Toolkit plugin that generates and

tags for JS and CSS files, and inserts automatically the Koha
  version in the filename
- use the new plugin to remove all occurences of [% KOHA_VERSION %]
- remove the code that was adding KOHA_VERSION as a template variable

Test plan:
1. Apply patch
2. Go to several different pages in Koha (opac and intranet) while
checking your browser's dev tools (there should be no 404 for JS and
CSS files, and the Koha version should appear in filenames) and the
server logs (there should be no "File not found")
3. `git grep KOHA_VERSION` should return nothing
4. prove t/db_dependent/Koha/Template/Plugin/Asset.t

011aa89777 Bug 19983: Switch single-column templates to Bootstrap grid: Authorities
This patch updates several single-column Authorities module templates to
use the Bootstrap grid.

- authorities-home - The home page of the Authorities module.
- authorities.tt - The authority add/edit page.
- blinddetail-biblio-search.tt - Not really testable -- It's the small
popup window which appears during the process of linking an authority
  to a MARC record.
- detail.tt - The authority detail page. Search for an authority record
and click on the "details" link in the search results.
- merge.tt - From a list of authority search results, select "Merge"
from the Actions menu of two authority records. Test both the initial
selection screen and the source/destination merging view.
- searchresultlist.tt - The authority search results page.

Each of these pages should look correct, with a single centered column
with wide margins on either side. At lower browser widths the margins
should disappear.

Overview:
Repeat tag fails if authority field has select subfield (for example, UNIMARC 700$8, 800$a)
This patch adds Select2 to authority editor

Steps to Reproduce:
In authority editor repeat field that has select subfield

Actual Results:
Field does not repeat (copy is not created).
Console shows a js TypeError in cataloging.js: «$(...).select2 is not a function»

Expected Results:
Field will repeat (copy is created)

6381d1853d Bug 16241 - Move staff client CSS out of language directory
The staff client CSS is not language-specific, so it can be moved out of
the en/ directory and thus not be duplicated for every translation.

In order to be able to have a generic path to the YUI CSS files, the YUI

- The staff client home page.
- Patron -> Set permissions.

A wrong variable scope was used here, the number value is contained in

ff5996d65e Bug 10480: Use the framework plugin object in cataloguing
This patch implements the use of Koha::FrameworkPlugin in Cataloguing,
Authorities, Acquisition, Serials and Tools.

The main change is architectural: see the commit message of the previous
patch. No changes in behavior are expected, but the support of new events
may provide additional functionality in the future. Some small bugs are
resolved along the way.

The change primarily focuses on the MARC and items editor in Cataloguing.
But the MARC editor for Authorities and the item editor in Acquisition,
Serials and Tools are touched too. This commit message gives some comments
per module.

NOTE FOR CATALOGUING:
A new plugin without popup (or other click event code) now shows the title
No popup when hovering over the tag editor image. The image alerts the
user on a plugin, the title tells about its status. The noclick property
allows for further style modifications in the template. Note that a
follow-up patch will clean up the old style plugins too with the same
effect.

Some additional code in cataloging.js makes it possible to clone subfields
with plugins (although only theoretically useful). The clones use the
same javascript functions but event.data contains an updated id.
This effectively resolves bug 13306. Note that if old plugins do not use
the javascript parameter for the id but the perl variable, cloning does
still operate on the wrong field (with and without this patch set).

In the absence of report 12176 in master, it is not yet necessary to modify
additem.tt. When it gets pushed, it should be an easy rebase.
New style item plugins will no longer need an extra parameter. (The code in
the FrameworkPlugin object actually takes care of that.)

NOTE FOR AUTHORITIES:
This patch also adds class name tag_editor to the buttonDot anchors. This
effectively makes the same tag editor image appear as in Cataloguing.
Futhermore it removes the button from the tab sequence if there is no click
event (really effective after conversion to the new style, since the old
style plugins contain empty onclicks and launchers).
Both small adjustments increase consistency between auth and bib edits.

NOTE FOR ACQUISITION:
In Acquisition two scripts use an item editor, but in a different way.
The scripts addorderiso2709 and neworderempty both rely on the routine
PrepareItemrecordDisplay in C4::Items, but neworderempty creates item
blocks dynamically via an ajax call to services/itemrecorddisplay.pl.

In order to make the dynamic item blocks work with plugins, some code
changes were needed in additem.js. (Normally the event binding is done
at document ready time; now it must be done later.)

At this moment the routine in Items.pm contains the html tags, and this
makes changes to the following templates not necessary for now:
* acqui/addorderiso2709.tt
* services/itemrecorddisplay.tt
Report 13397 has been opened to address moving the html to the templates.

NOTE FOR SERIALS:
Script serial-edit relies also on C4::Items (just as in Acquisition).
This makes changes to serials/serials-edit.tt not necessary for now.

NOTE FOR TOOLS:
The current code in tools/batchMod.pl allows the use of plugins for batch
modification of items. This patch just converts that code to use the new
object. Most item plugins however may not be very useful for operating on
multiple items at once.

PERFORMANCE:
I have benchmarked build_tabs in addbiblio to see how especially the
additional processing of the javascript in the FrameworkPlugin object
would impact performance. Testing default MARC21 framework with 8 plugins
gave the following figures:
- Old situation: 851 ms
- New situation: 942 ms (+10,7%)
- New situation after plugin cleanup: 881 ms (+3,4%)
Note also that adding lines for event binding is compensated by removing
lines for unused events. Page load should essentially be the same.

TEST PLAN:
Suggestion: If you also apply the next patch with the EXAMPLE plugin, you
can test with a rather harmless plugin (with popup) on various places :)
But your test should also include old style plugins, with[out] popups.

If you want to test a new plugin without popup, rename/remove Click$id
in the javascript code of the $builder definition (temporarily).

[1] Test Cataloguing:
    - Add/Edit biblio. Try plugins with and without popup.
    - Add/Edit items. (EXAMPLE can be used as an item plugin with popup.)
    - Clone a subfield with plugin (use EXAMPLE): Verify that the plugin
works on both original and clone with the respective field values.
Is the value put back in the right field too?
[2] Test Authorities:
Edit an authority record. Try plugins with an without popup.
[3] Test Acquisition:
Set system preference AcqCreateItem to "placing an order".
Check the item editor in the following two places:
a- addorderiso2709: Open a basket, add an order from a staged file.
Select a file, click Add orders, and go to tab Item information.
b- neworderempty: Open a basket, add an order from a new empty record.
[4] Test Serials:
Check the item editor on serials-edit. Go to subscription detail.
Click Receive. Choose "Click to add item". (Note that this subscription
should create an item record when receiving this serial.)
[5] Test Tools:
Check the item editor for batch item modification. Enter a few valid
barcodes and press Continue to reach the item editor.

7f8c59edaa Bug 12708 - Unexpected behaviour in IE 9 and lower when using openWindow
This patch removes the whitespace from arguments to the "name" parameter
in "window.open". It also adds a trap for the "openWindow" helper
function, which will use a "null" instead of a "name" if window.open
isn't able to handle a name with whitespace (i.e. if it's IE <= 9).

_TEST PLAN_

1) Switch to an emulated or authentic Internet Explorer version E 9
or lower
2) Click "Help"
3) Note that it opens the page in the current window rather than as a popup

4) Apply the patch

5) Shift refresh your page
6) Click "Help"
7) Note that it now opens (correctly) as a pop-up

(If you want to be more thorough, you can test in other browsers as well
to make sure that it still works.)

9e9088049c Bug 12138 - Use placeholders in translatable Javascript strings
Currently translating Javascript strings with variables in them is hard,
because the strings are created from separate parts. For example:

_("Are you sure you want to delete the") + " " + count + " " +
_("attached items?")

This is translated in two different parts, and the translator cannot
affect the place where the count-variable is.

Now, if the javascript strings allowed placeholders, similar to how the
template strings do, the above could be written as:

_("Are you sure you want to delete the %s attached
items?").format(count)

This would make translation much easier.

Attached patch adds a Javascript string formatter, and changes all the
concatenated translatable JS strings used in intranet to use that.

To test:
1) cd misc/translator
2) perl translate update xx-YY
3) grep ^msgid po/xx-YY-i-staff-t-prog-v-3006000.po | sort | uniq >
xx-YY-pre
4) apply patch
5) perl translate update xx-YY
6) grep ^msgid po/xx-YY-i-staff-t-prog-v-3006000.po | sort | uniq >
xx-YY-post
7) compare the files: diff -Nurd xx-YY-pre xx-yy-post | less
should show the javascript strings that changed.
8) Test the UIs where the formatted js strings are used.

e24e3bb266 Bug 8332: Add relationships to auth_finder for authority links
In addition to the work in bug 8207 that enables auth_finder use, it
would be very useful when creating authorities to have the auth_finder
plugin automatically fill out the relationship information in $w (in
MARC21).

To test (note that you must either apply the patch for bug 8207 or

type frameworks):
1. Create a new authority record.
2. Go to the 5xx tab.

68b30468c3 Bug 8143 [REVISED] Upgrade jQuery tabs to current jQueryUI version
Current jQuery-driven tabs are done using a very old
version of the tabs plugin. This patch upgrades jQueryUI
to the latest version and adds the tabs widget dependency
to the jqueryui js file and updates the syntax for existing
tabs:

- $("#foo > ul").tabs(); changes to $("#foo").tabs();
- Remove full URL from tab links (use #anchor only).

Pages with "static" tabs (tabs which are built in the
markup rather than generated by the plugin) have been
modified to use their own style. Examples: pay.tt in
the staff client and opac-readingrecord.tt in the OPAC.

723734513b Bug 7889 [Authorities duplicates] Use standard style for errors and messages
The warning shown in the authorities editor when there is
a possible duplicate is styled incorrectly. In addition the
design of the warning is inconsistent with that shown in the

This patch revises the style and layout of the duplicate error
box. It also corrects a problem which appears in the biblio

To test:

- Create a record in both the cataloging and authorities

- Click the link to the existing record. A separate window

- In both editors try each option:
