Use case: A patron checks some items out on-site and want to take it home.
To facilitate the librarian work the checkout is directly switched from
on-site to regular when checked out if the new pref SwitchOnSiteCheckouts is on.
Test plan:
0/ Let the new pref SwitchOnSiteCheckouts off
1/ Checkout one items to a patron and tick the "on-site checkout"
checkbox
2/ Check the same item out without ticking the "on-site checkout"
checkbox
=> You should get "This item can not be renewed, it's an on-site checkout"
3/ Switch the pref on
4/ Repeat 2
=> The on-site checkout should be automatically switched to a regular checkout

When you search in the OPAC it shows you the HOME branch on the location
in XSLT, but if you click through to the detail page it shows you the
CURRENT BRANCH in the holdings table which is very confusing to patrons.
I don't know what's the right solution - home or holding branch, but they
should be the same in both places for the patron's sake. If you do the same
search in the staff client you see the right branch info on the search results
and on the detail page.
Test Plan:
1) Apply this patch
2) Run updatedatabase.pl
3) Search the catalog, you search should include results with items
that have different home and holding libraries.
4) The results should look the same as before the patch
5) Change the system preference OPACResultsLibrary to "current location"
6) Refresh your page of search results
7) The results show now show the holding library instead of the home library

Web install on Ubuntu 16.04/Mysql 5.7 fails.
This patch makes small changes to make installation
possible to kohastructure.sql and some sample files.
Sample values for quotes table can't have '0000-00-00 ...' values
nor NULL values, now() is perhaps an option.
Depends on Bug 16572
To test:
1) System with MySQL 5.7, for example Ubuntu 16.05
2) Apply 16572
3) Try web install, it fails
4) Apply this and next patch
5) Try again, now it succeed
This is only for English install, i18n files needs revision
I can do that if this is accepted.
Perphaps a change is needed to updatedatabase.pl
Ammended patch, 'created_on' field on virtualshelves
can't be timestamp default null, mysql 5.5 complains
that only one timestamp column can be defined as
default not null. Changed to 'datetime' type.
Can provide followup with updatedabase change,
but need an opinion if this type change makes sense.

New feature: provide granular means to configure warnings about items
that have been issued to a particular borrower before, according to
their checkout history.
- Global syspref ('CheckPrevCheckout'), set to 'hardno' by default,
allows users to enable this feature library wide.
- Per patron category pref allows libraries to create overrides per
category, falling back on the global setting by default.
- Per patron pref allows switching the functionality on at the level
of patron. Fall-back to category settings by default.
* Koha/Patron (wantsCheckPrevCheckout, doCheckPrevCheckout): New
methods.
* C4/Circulation.pm (CanBookBeIssued): Introduce CheckPrevCheckout
check.
* admin/categories.pl: Pass along checkprevcheckout.
* koha-tmpl/intranet-tmpl/prog/en/modules/admin/categories.tt: Expose
CheckPrevCheckout per category setting.
* koha-tmpl/intranet-tmpl/prog/en/modules/preferences/patrons.pref:
Expose CheckPrevCheckout syspref.
* koha-tmpl/intranet-tmpl/prog/en/modules/members/memberentrygen.tt:
Expose per patron CheckPrevCheckout preference.
* koha-tmpl/intranet-tmpl/prog/en/modules/members/moremember.tt: Expose
per patron CheckPrevCheckout preference.
* koha-tmpl/intranet-tmpl/prog/en/modules/circ/circulation.tt: Add
'CHECKPREVCHECKOUT' confirmation message.
* installer/data/mysql/kohastructure.sql: Modify structure of
'categories', 'borrowers', 'oldborrowers'.
* installer/data/mysql/sysprefs.sql: Add 'CheckPrevCheckout'.
* installer/data/mysql/atomicupdate/checkPrevCheckout.sql: New file.
* t/db_dependent/Patron/CheckPrevCheckout.t: New file with unit tests.
Test plan:
- Apply patch.
- Run updatedatabase.
- Regenerate Koha Schema files.
- Run the unit tests.
- Verify 'CheckPrevCheckout' is visible in Patrons sysprefs and can be
switched to 'hardyes', 'softyes', 'softno' and 'hardno'.
+ Check out previously checked out items to a patron, checking the
message appears as expected.
- Verify no 'Check previous checkouts' setting appears on the borrower
category pages if the syspref is set to a 'hard' option.
- Verify 'Check previous checkouts' setting appears on the borrower
category pages and can be modified per borrower category.
+ Issue previously issued items to a borrower, checking the message
appears as expected (This setting should override the default
setting if that is set to a 'soft' option).
- Verify no 'Check previous checkouts' setting appears on the individual
borrower pages if the syspref is set to a 'hard' option.
- Verify 'Check previous checkouts' setting appears on individual
borrower pages and can be modified.
+ Issue previously issued items to a borrower, checking the message
appears as expected (This setting should override the category
setting and the default setting if the latter is set to a 'soft'
option).

This patch adds a new system preference:
PatronQuickAddFields
When either this pref or BorrowerMandatoryField is populated this will add a new dropdown to the bew patron toolbar.
When a category is chosen from this dropdown the fields in PatronQuickAddFields and BorrowerMandatoryField will be displayed.
There will be a button allowing a user to switch from the quickadd to the full form and fields will be copied between the forms when toggling.
The Quick add will only be displayed on add of a new patron, future edits should display the full form.
Test plan:
1 - Apply patch
2 - run updatedatabase.pl
3 - Add a new patron and ensure nothing has changed
4 - Populate either PatronQuickAddFields or BorrowerMandatory fields
and note the new button for adding a patron
5 - Click the Quick add and choose a type
6 - Only required or quick add fields should be displayed
7 - Verify toggling forms copies information
8 - Ensure you cannot save patron without filling required fields
(quick add fields should be optional)
9 - Ensure you can save patron with fields filled out
10 - Ensure that a duplicate patron brings up the duplicate/add new
buttons with full form displayed
11 - Verify that subsequent edits use only full form
12 - Verify that data on form submitted is the data saved to patron
13 - Test with various values in both MandatoryBorrowerFields and PatronQuickAddFields

This patch answers Jonathan's request to simplify this patchset a bit.
It removes the need for the .sql file, as _default_rule now defaults to
a fixed value (1, which was set by the removed .sql file).
This allowed to remove the overloaded ->delete method.
The tests have been adjusted to reflect this changes, including tests for
the new 'default'-if-absent situation.

This patch makes the new sysprefs work as the previously defined. Instead of falling back
to what *ResultsDisplay is set, it now has its own 'default' (that still defaults to the
*Results*.xslt).
The default values are set to 'default' as the rest of XSLT-related sysprefs, and the upgrade
picks whatever is set in OPACXSLTResultsDisplay and XSLTResultsDisplay so current behaviour
is preserved.

New XSLTs for Lists work as advertised
Signed-off-by: Kyle M Hall <kyle@bywatersolutions.com>
Jonathan noticed the current behaviour is that the lists rendering
falls back to the XSLTResults, and if not defined (i.e. != 'default' and
!= some_path) it falls back to a legacy display (non-XSLT).
The patchset changed this behaviour because 'default' is not a valid value
for the lists. So it should fallback to the current behaivour (i.e. Results
XSLT configuration) if not defined. This patch fixes this by adding
|| C4::Context->preference('XSLTResultsDisplay')
(and the OPAC counterpart).
It also fixes minor glitches on the update message (oops) and bad default value
in sysprefs.sql for 'XSLTListsDisplay'.
Thanks Jonathan!

This patch introduces two new sysprefs, allowing the users to

It seems that if subscription_numberpatterns.numberingmethod contains parentheses, updatedatabase.pl crashes when running the 3.23.00.006 DB upgrade snippet, with the following error:
[Mon Jun 6 09:06:54 2016] updatedatabase.pl: Unmatched ( in regex; marked by <-- HERE in m/ ( <-- HERE / at /home/koha/kohaclone/installer/data/mysql/updatedatabase.pl line 11498.
Steps to reproduce:
1/ Have a Koha DB version<3.23.00.006
2/ Create a subscription numbering with parentheses in it:
ie "Vol. (Month, Year)" with pattern
Vol. {X} ({Y}, {Z})
3/ Add some serials using that numbering method so that serialseq is filled in DB:
ie "Vol. 16 (February, 2015)"
4/ Run the updatedatabase.pl script either from the cli or just start the webinstaller
5/ The error is produced

The current table creation order is left to mysql's strategy, which is not
suitable for parsing the SQL files and passing one statement at a time in
the current order.

While many of us would like to get rid of biblioitems one day, the current
scheme includes a biblioitemnumber and a biblionumber in Items.
(Which is not so great..)
But also note that biblionumber is NOT defined as a foreign key in Items,
although a belongs_to relation has been added to the DBIx scheme!
This inconsistency should be resolved. The "remove biblioitem table"
operation is a large one, but in the meantime we better make biblionumber
a regular FK not a 'pseudo' one.
Note: If in an (very) exceptional case biblionumbers are found in items,
that do not exist in biblio, this patch prints a warning at upgrade
time and does not add the constraint.
@RM: Please update the DBIx scheme accordingly.
Test plan:

There are 2 prefs to drive this feature: StaffAuthorisedValueImages and
AuthorisedValueImages. AuthorisedValueImages is not added by
sysprefs.sql and does not appear in updatedatabase.pl, we could easily
imagine that nobody uses it.
With XSLT enabled, the feature is only visible on a record detail page
at the OPAC, if AuthorisedValueImages is set. Otherwise you need to turn
the XSLT off. In this case you will see the images on the result list
(OPAC+Staff interfaces) and OPAC detail page, but not the Staff detail
page.
This patch suggests to remove completely this feature as it does not
work correctly.
The ability to assign an image to an authorised value is now always
displayed, but the image will only be displayed on the advanced search
if defined.

Some libraries would like the ability to select the itemtype to request
when placing holds. For example, if a record has 3 copies of BookA and 3
copies of BookA in large print, this feature would allow a person to

Bug 12752 has fixed a bug for installations upgrading from 3.14, but has
not fixed the problem for new installations.
Because of some wrong data manipulations, the names for a given letter
code may diverge.
In particular OVERDUE and PREDUE names of phone notices have been
wrongly modify by bug 11867: they have been set to the name of the first HOLD
notice.
Trying to be back on our feet, this update DB entry will try to guess
and set back up the correct name.
To know if your install is affected by this bug, the following SQL query
can help you:
SELECT code, name, message_transport_type
FROM letter
WHERE code="PREDUE" OR code="OVERDUE";
If the names are different for the same code, something went wrong.

This will allow you to access the tools/upload form via the Tools menu.
And it will also allow you to add permanent uploads.
[2] Upload_manage
It will allow you to delete uploads from other users.
Note that anyone may delete his own uploads.
It is not meant to include upload_general_files.
In order to not disturb existing users that now have edit_catalogue and are
using the plugin (read: added at least one record to uploaded_files), we
will add the first permission for them. New users will need to be authorized
in the usual way thereafter.
Note: If you only have one of the other permissions checked in allows_add_by,

This patch applies several changes to the DB structure introduced by
the previous ES patch set:
1/ Add a search_field.label column
=> It will be easier to understand what the search_field does.
Indeed, some are not user friendly: acqdate, an, pl, ff8-23, ln, etc.
TODO later: Update the labels with correct values (at the moment
label=name)
2/ Update the foreign key search_marc_to_field.search_marc_map_id with
on delete cascase. This will permit to automatically remove the entries
in search_marc_to_field when they are deleted in search_marc_map.
3/ Remove the index_name_2 unique constraint on the search_marc_map table.
I don't understand how this could be useful, it was defined like (index_name,
marc_type, marc_field), so it means a mapping cannot be defined twice with
different values for facet, suggestible and sort.
This limitation does not seem to make sense.

This allows sorting to be configured within a field. For example, while
many values are included for search on author, sorting should only be
done on the main entry values. This permits that by have a sort value,
which can be true, false, or null. true and null are pretty much the
same, but false means that a field isn't available for sorting on. By

Koha's EDIFACT module works great for many European vendors,
but does not work will for US vendors, which have a much different
interpretation of 'standard'. In fact, each vendor may require
different arrangements of values in EDIFACT messages. It would be
impossible to encompass all these requirements within Koha's EDIFACT
module itself. Instead, we should allow the module to be pluggable, so
versions of the module can be developed for vendors that require EDIFACT
messages that don't conform to the standard set by Koha's EDIFACT
module.
Test Plan:
1) Apply this patch
2) Run updatedatabase
3) Enable Koha plugins
4) Install the Edifact stub plugin available at
https://github.com/bywatersolutions/koha-plugin-edifact-stub
5) Edit the EDI Vendor account, assign the plugin to a Vendor EDI account
6) Test EDI functionality ( ORDER, INVOICE ), there should be no errors
or changes to the EDIFACT message input or output

Add support for processing incoming Edifact Quotes, Invoices
and order responses and generating and transmission of
Edifact Orders.
Basic workflow is that an incoming quote generates an aquisition
basket in Koha, with each line corresponding to an order record
The user can then generate an edifact order from this (or another)
basket, which is transferred to the vendor's site
The supplier generates an invoice on despatch and this will
result in corresponding invoices being generated in Koha
The orderlines on the invoice are receipted automatically.
We also support order response messages. This may include
simple order acknowledgements, supplier reports/amendments
on availability. Cancellation messages cause the koha order
to be cancelled, other messages are recorded against the order
Which messages are to be supported/processed is specifiable on a
vendor by vendor basis via the admin screens
You can also specify auto order i.e. to generate orders from quotes
without user intervention - This reflects existing
workflows where most work is done on the suppliers website
then generating a dummy quote
Received messages are stored in the edifact_messages table
and the original can be viewed via the online

system preference.
26) Copy and paste the 'CLIENT SECRET' into the GoogleOAuth2ClientSecret
system preference.
27) Change the GoogleOpenIDConnect preference to 'Use'.
28) Click 'Save all Administration preferences'

The default value for sysprefs should not be NULL but an empty string.
When a pref is cleared, it's set to an empty string, so it does not make
sense to create it with an undefined value.
The main purpose of this patch is to remove the warning in logs when a
pref is accessed for the first time and the cache is not yet populated.
It also ensures that the behavior will be the same for the first access
and the others.

Bug 15084 added a FK constraint while the fields in the database are not
in sync as to length. This will produce errors when using currency codes
longer than three characters. Probably you won't, but nobody stopped
users from entering EURO or DOLLAR etc. Not to speak about TestBuilder
too.
This patch corrects the database revision for aqorders in updatedatabase,
because we need to change the field length before adding the FK constraint.
It also updates other currency fields < 10 chars (via atomicupdate).
RM: So please add that dbrev too in updatedatabase.
Note that another report should deal with adding missing constraints on
the currency code in suggestions and aqbooksellers.
Also note that the aqorder fields listprice and invoiceprice refer to
currency. Imo these are very poor names for currency codes; you should
never call something a price when you mean a currency code!
Similar changes are applied to kohastructure.

This patch allows for more flexibility for determining when the number
of holds a record has should trigger the reduction of the loan length
for items on that record.
This patch adds a new system preference decreaseLoanHighHoldsControl,
which defaults to 'static', the original behavior of the feature.
It also has a new behavior 'dynamic' which makes the feature only
decrease the loan length if the number of holds on the record exceeds
the number of holdable items + decreaseLoanHighHoldsValue.
It also allows items to be filtered from the list of items based
on the damaged, lost, not for loan, and withdrawn values even if
those values would have allowed holds ( i.e. values < 0 )
Test Plan:
1) Apply this patch
2) Run updatedatabase.pl
3) Set decreaseLoanHighHolds to Enable
4) Set decreaseLoanHighHoldsControl to "over the number of items on the record"
5) Set decreaseLoanHighHoldsDuration to 1
6) Set decreaseLoanHighHoldsValue to 3
7) Create a record with 5 items
8) Please 8 or more holds on the record
9) Check out one of the items to a patron
10) Note the loan length is reduced to 1 day
11) Set decreaseLoanHighHoldsValue to 3 to 2
12) Check out one of the items to a patron
13) Note the loan length is *not* reduced
14) Enbale all the filters possible in decreaseLoanHighHoldsIgnoreStatuses
15) Set one item to be damaged
16) Note the loan length is reduced
17) Unset the damaged status

The holds queue is typically generated many times a day in order to
select items to fill holds. Often these items are to be sent to a
different library. However, if the library whose item is picked to fill
a hold is closed, that hold will remain unfilled even if there are other
open libraries who own that item. It would be helpful if we could skip
closed libraries for the purpose of selecting items to fill holds.

The singleBranchMode system preference does not make sense.
Either the install has only 1 library defined or several. In both case,
we can easily guess the behavior to follow.
So the idea of this patch is to replace the fetch of this syspref with a
call to count the number of libraries defined in DB.
Test plan:
1/ From a fresh Koha install, execute the DB entry to remove the pref.
2/ Define only 1 library
3/ Confirm that Koha behaves the same as before (try to change your
library, look at the facets)
4/ Create another library (or more) and reinsert the pref and set it:
insert into systempreferences (variable, value)
values('singleBranchMode', 1);
5/ Execute the DB entry
You should get a warning message.
6/ Repeat 3.

Nearly all cellular providers allow a person to send an text message to a cellular
phone by sending an email to phonenumber@provider. We can leverage this capability
to add the ability for Koha to send sms messages to patrons without the need to
subscribe to an sms gateway server.
Basic plan:
1. Add a table sms_providers to the db to tell Koha what service providers are available, and what domain emails should be sent to.
2. Add borrowers.sms_provider_id to tell Koha which mobile service the patron subscribes to for the number given in smsalertnumber
3. Modify Koha to send an email rather than using SMS::Send if the driver is set to 'Email'
Test plan:
0) Get a mobile phone
1) Apply the patch
2) Run updatedatabase.pl
3) Set the value of SMSSendDriver to 'Email'
4) Go to the admin page, the "Additional parameters" area should now have the link "SMS cellular providers"
5) On this page, add some providers. Make sure to add the provider for your own cellular phone service.
Here are some examples:
Sprint phonenumber@messaging.sprintpcs.com
Verizon phonenumber@vtext.com
T-Mobile phonenumber@tmomail.net
AT&T phonenumber@txt.att.net
Only add the domain part in the 'domain' field. So for Verizon, that would be 'vtext.com'
6) Create an account for yourself, add your SMS number, and select your provider from the dropdown box directly below it.
7) Enable SMS messaging for Item check-in and Item checkout
8) Check out an item to yourself
9) Run process_message_queue.pl
10) Wait! You should receive a text message shortly, when I tested it, I received my sms message within the minute.

To make life easier when multiple instances are uploading temporary
files to Koha, this patch adds the database name to the upload subfolder
in your /tmp folder.
Note: Although multiple instances could share the same subfolder for
temporary storage (hashvalue is based on a timestamp too), it will be
better to separate them for efficient housekeeping (removing older or
partial files with a cronjob etc.)
Since multiple instances come with separate permissions, keeping them in
separate folders will be much simpler.
Permanent storage is not affected by this patch. The location of permanent
storage is ruled by the upload_path in each config file. Sharing that
space is not recommended too.
Although it may not be strictly necessary yet to remove files from the old
temp storage folder (before the 3.22 release), the accompanying db rev
performs that housekeeping task.
Test plan:
[1] Do not yet apply this patch. Upload a temporary file (use the
tools/upload.pl script without selecting a category).
[2] Check /tmp/koha_upload.
[3] Apply this patch. Run the db rev with web installer.
[4] Upload another temporary file.
[5] Check /tmp for folder [your_database]_upload.
[6] Check that /tmp/koha_upload is gone and the associated records too.
[7] Run the adjusted t/db../Upload.t
Followed test plan. Could not do steps before applying patch [1]-[2]
(I suppose a local permission problem).
After applying patch and updating db file appears in /tmp/[database]
as expected.

I've addressed a lot of Liz Rea's points.
1. I have moved the code from updatedatabase.pl and kohastructure.sql to a file in the atomicupdates directory.
1a. The feature is now off by default when the atomicupdate is run.
2. The password reset link is now visible on the home page, in the modal box and on opac-user.pl .
3. The password recovery pages now use bootstrap markup.
4. I am unsure here. I see "New Password:" and "Confirm new password:".
5. This should still work :).
6. I could not reproduce.
7. I have added the userid field.
You can now reset the password by submitting either your useid or email address.
Both fields can be filled, but the email address must be one of the borrower's (email, emailpro or b_email).
When entering only the email address and two borrowers use that same address, the system tells the user to try with another address or to specify his userid.
8. The text is in the atomicupdate file. Have at it, anyone.
Concerning the email. It is inconvenient for the use to have to wait X minutes for the message queue the be processed.
Maybe we could add a sub in Letters.pm that:
Takes the same argments as EnqueueLetter
Sends the letter.
Saves the letter in the message queue with a 'sent' status.
TEST PLAN:
Setup)
1) apply the patch
2) go to system preferences OPAC>>Privacy and set 'OpacResetPassword' to ON.
2b) make sure that OpacPasswordChange is also ON.
A)
1) refresh front page, click on 'Forgot your password' and enter a VALID address
1b) Also try an INVALID address (valid yet not in your koha db). An error message will show up.
2) An email should be received at that address with a link.
3) Follow the link in the mail to fill the new password.
Until a satisfactory new password is entered, the old password is not reset.
4) Go to main page try the new password.
B)
1) Repeat the password reset, this time use the userid (username) field.
2) Try to reset the password using a userid and an email not linked to the account. An error appears.
3) Make sure the borrower has many available email addresses.
4) For each email, reset the password using both the userid and the email. The link should be sent to the specified address
C)
1) Make sure two borrowers use the same email.
2) Repeat the reset procedure in test case A). An error message appears

Currently if the AnonymousPatron system preference is in use, all patron
data is anonymized. Some libraries would like to be able to see the last
patron who returned out an item ( in case of damage ) but still keep all
other patrons anonymized.
* Add the table items_last_borrower ( id, itemnumber, borrowernumber )
* Add new system preference StoreLastBorrower
* If StoreLastBorrower is enabled, upon checkin have Koha insert into
this table the patron who last returned this item. Replace existing
row based on itemnumber if exists.
* If table has a row for a given item, link to the patron from the item
details page.
Test plan:
1) Apply patch
2) Run updatedatabase.pl
3) Enable StoreLastBorrower
4) Issue an item to a patron and return said item
5) Issue the same item to a second patron, do not return it.
6) View moredetail.pl for the given bib, find the given item. There
should be a new field in the history list 'Last returned by' with a link
to the last patron to return the item.
Optionally, you can also verify this works even if patron issuing
history has been set to anonymize issues upon return.

This patch is a _requirement_ to Bug #12771, and will be necessary once we start managing more than 3 levels of overdue notice
TEST PLAN
1) Create or improve on overduerules data
.1) Intranet -> tools -> overdue notices
.2) Make sure to have data in first, second and third tabs
.3) Make sure to have checked mixes of Email/Phone/Print/SMS (depending on availability)
.4) Make sure to have different letters and delay on first/second/third tab for at least one category
.5) Remember it all.
2) Apply patch
3) run installer/data/mysql/atomicupdate/update_13624_overduerules_transport_type.pl
4) run t/db_dependant/Overdues.t

.1) validate data entered previously is still there
.2) Add some more, save changes, validate
In installer/data/mysql/atomicupdate/update_13624_overduerules_transport_type.pl
- A new column and primary key, 'overduerules_id', is added to the table 'overduerules'
- A new column referencing a foreign key, 'overduerules_id', is added to the table 'overduerules_transport_types'
- The columns 'branchcode' and 'categorytype' are removed from the table 'overduerules_transport_types'
- Data is migrated from the old tables to the new ones
In installer/data/mysql/kohastructure.sql :
- Table 'overduerules'
- Added a primary key named 'overduerules_id'
- Table 'overduerules_transport_types'
- Added a foreign key named 'overduerules_id'
- Dropped columns 'branchcode', 'categorycode' since we now have them referenced through 'overduerules_id'
In tools/overduerules.pl
- INSERT and DELETE queries on 'overduerules_transport_types' were changed to reflect the new schema
In C4/Overdues.pm :
- The SQL query of the function 'GetOverdueMessageTransportTypes' is changed to take into account the new design of 'overduerules_transport
In t/db_dependent/Overdues.t :
- The INSERT calls before the tests were changed to take into account the new design of 'overduerules' and 'overduerules_transport_types'

Amended patch: INSERT IGNORE INTO + msg
Signed-off-by: Kyle M Hall <kyle@bywatersolutions.com>
Bug 14205 added a new foreign key on the course_reserve table.
As this dbrev has been backported to the stable version (3.20.x), the
next dbrev should take care of this existing constraint to avoid
warnings.
Test plan:
1/ replace the modified dbrev with 3.21.00.XXX to make sure it will be
executed
2/ Make sure you have the KEY and the FK on the course_reserves table:
sql> alter table course_reserves add CONSTRAINT `course_reserves_ibfk_2`
FOREIGN KEY (`ci_id`) REFERENCES `course_items` (`ci_id`) ON DELETE
CASCADE ON UPDATE CASCADE;
sql> alter table course_reserves ADD KEY `course_reserves_ibfk_2` (`ci_id`);
3/ SHOW CREATE TABLE course_reserves
should show that the table is not in sync with the kohastructure.sql file
4/ Execute the dbrev
5/ SHOW CREATE TABLE course_reserves
should show that the table is in sync with the kohastructure.sql file
Repeat 4 and 5, confirm you don't get any error.

Note: This feature depends on Bug 14870 'Delete C4/Dates from system'
System preferences:
To test:
- apply the patch
- run updatedatabase.pl
- go to Admin > Sysprefs > I18N, change dateformat to dd.mm.yyyy, save
- verify that the value was saved
Date handling:
- go through the staff client and verify that dates behave as expected.
- go through Opac and verify that dates behave as expected.
The Bugs where Bug 14870 depends on contain test plans that can be
used for the overall testing.
Note: Make sure that you reset the dateformat to the former value after
testing.

merge more than 2 biblios.
There is no functional changes:
- Add some biblios to a list
- In the list check some biblios and click on 'Merge selected records'
- Choose the biblio which will be kept, all others will be deleted
- On the next page you have all biblios you chose in tabs (left side
of the screen) and the preview of result (right side)
- Pick some fields or subfields from records that will be deleted or
delete some fields from reference record.
- Click on 'Merge', if there is no errors you are redirected to the
biblio view.

A review of the 3.20.00 + upgrade DB, compared to a fresh master install
highlighted an inconsistency on that table. This is mysqldbcompare's
output for it:
- `action` enum('delete_field','update_field','move_field','copy_field','copy_and_replace_field') COLLATE utf8_unicode_ci DEFAULT NULL,
? ------------------------- ^^^^^^
+ `action` enum('delete_field','update_field','move_field','copy_field') COLLATE utf8_unicode_ci NOT NULL,
So one ENUM value is missing on fresh installs, and an upgraded one
yields a DEFAULT NULL configuration for the 'action' column.
To test:
1) have a v3.20.00 DB:
> CREATE DATABASE koha_master_upgraded;
$ git checkout v3.20.00
$ mysql koha_master_upgraded < installer/data/mysql/kohastructure.sql
2) upgrade it to latest master by running:
$ git checkout origin/master
$ perl installer/data/mysql/updatedatabase.pl
3) Create a new DB
> CREATE DATABASE koha_master_fresh;
$ mysql koha_master_fresh < installer/data/mysql/kohastructure.sql
4) Run mysqldbcompare (you need mysql-utilities installed for that)
$ mysqldbcompare --difftype=differ --server1=root@localhost \
--skip-data-check --skip-table-options \
--run-all-tests koha_master_upgraded:koha_master_fresh
=> FAIL: You will notice the marc_modification_template_actions discrepancy
- Repeat from 1), but apply this patch on 2) before the upgrade.
=> SUCCESS: The DB's discrepancies are now irrelevant [1]
- Sign off :-D
