Adds a course reserves system for academic libraries.
The course reserves system allows libraries to create courses
and put items on reserves for those courses.
Each item with at least one reserve can have some of its attributes
modified while it is on reserve for at least one active course.
These attributes include item type, collection code, shelving location,
and holding library. If there are no active courses with this item
on reserve, it's attributes will revert to the original attributes
it had before going on reserve.
Test Plan:
1) Create new authorised value categories DEPARTMENT and TERM
2) Create a new course, add instructors to that course.
3) Reserve items for that course, verify item attributes have changed.
4) Disable course, verify item attributes have reverted.
5) Enable course again, verify item attributes again.
6) Delete course, verify item attributes again.
7) Create two new courses, add the same item(s) to both courses.
8) Disable one course, verify item attributes have not reverted.
9) Disable both courses, verify item attributes have reverted.
10) Enable one course, verify item attributes are again set to the
new values.
11) Edit reserve item attributes, verify.
12) Disable all courses, edit reserve item attributes, verify
the item itself still has its original attributes, verify
the reserve item attributes have been updated.
13) Verify the ability to remove instructors from a course.
14) Verify new permissions, top level coursereserves, with
subpermissions add_reserves and delete_reserves.

Many templates have instances where the path to the prog template is
hard-coded. Now that interface and theme template variables are
available everywhere these paths should be corrected to use them.
Image paths corrected:
- 'Patron image missing' image on circulation pages
- 'Locked' icon on fund planning page
- Tag and subfield edit icons on the authority, biblio editor, and batch
item modification pages (Clone tag, delete tag, clone subfield,
delete subfield, move subfield)
- 'Loading' icon when importing frameworks
Audio file paths corrected:
- Sounds for circulation.pl and returns.pl
Paths to DataTables assets corrected on:
- Transfers to receive report
- Holds queue report
- Holds awaiting pickup report
- Patron detail page (moremember.pl)
- Patron circulation history
- Update child to adult patron page
- Process offline circulations
- Catalog by item type report
- Serials statistics wizard
- Serial claims page
- Koha news
- Notices
- Batch patron modifications
Path to progress bar assets corrected on:
- Process offline circulations page
- Progressbar include file
- Stage MARC imports
- Manage MARC imports
- Local cover image upload
Other image paths:
- "Approved" checkmark image on tags review page
- Table sort icons on lists page
- Feed icon on OPAC search result page
- "Loading" image for OPAC plain MARC view

When the patron detail page switched to DataTables no accommodation was
made for metric date formats in sorting.
This patch adds sorting based on data in a span's title attribute, and
thus requires that the patch for Bug 9887 be applied.
To test, view the detail page for a patron who has assorted checkouts,
relatives' checkouts, and holds. Sorting of date columns should be
correct with the dateformat preference set to any value.

Replace the tablesorter plugin with the DataTables plugin on the
patron sent notices page.
This patch adds default sorting by time (descending).
This patch depends on the one for Bug 9887, which introduces a new
DataTables plugin to allow sorting on data embedded in a <span>'s
"title" attribute. This allows sorting to be done on an unformatted
datetime.
To test, open the sent notices page for a patron who has multiple sent
notices. Confirm that table sorting works correctly with various date
format settings.
Revision corrects an error which occurs when there are no notices:
Instead of displaying an empty table with a message the table is not
displayed and a standard dialog message is displayed. In order to
prevent page-specific CSS and JS from conflicting with the standard
"message" class the page-specific classes have been changed from
"message*" to "notice*" Test this change by viewing a page with existing
notices and clicking the titles to show/hide the notice contents.

Currently, clicking twice or more on the Save button will generate
duplicate patrons when adding patrons in the Patron module. Of course,
there is handling that detects this, so you can choose to either edit
the original record (i.e. throw away the duplicate) or create a
duplicate record.
However, it shouldn't get to that point by clicking on the Save button.
That handling seems to be there to handle cases where you go through the
whole process of trying to add a new patron only to find out that they
already exist in the system (or at least their username/password do).
--
This patch uses the "preventDoubleFormSubmit" function (which is also
used in holds and fines to prevent double form submits). It was also
necessary to edit members.js, since "check_form_borrowers" was forcing
form submits despite the "preventDoubleFormSubmit" function. I've
changed it from forcing a document.form.submit to return true, which the
browser will still submit the form if it's a unique borrower, but the
"preventDoubleFormSubmit" function will still prevent multiple submits.
I've also added a "waiting" class to staff-global.js which changes the
cursor to "wait" (i.e. loading circle graphic). I've included an
"AddClass" call in "preventDoubleFormSubmit", so that the cursor graphic
will change to show users that the page is loading so that they don't
click Save again. Of course, even if they do click save again, there
will only be one submit. However, this way - as Chris Cormack mentioned
- the user knows that "something" is happening and that the form isn't
broken.
-------
Test Plan
Before applying patch...
1) Fill out the form for a new patron in the Patron module
2) Click "Save" several times
3) Once the page loads, you'll be shown a prompt that says that this
borrower already exists. You will have the option to view the
original record, edit the original record, or create a new patron
anyway
4) Click on edit the existing record, and delete the patron
Apply the patch
5) Repeat steps 1 and 2
6) Notice that your cursor has changed into a little "loading" circle
graphic when you hover over the "body" of the page, as well as any
links or any inputs/buttons of the type "submit" within that form
7) Notice that no matter how many times you press the button, the form
is not re-submitted. Eventually you will be taken to the new patron's
record (no mention of duplication will occur)
Ta da! Multiple form submits are prevented and the loading graphic
signals to users that the form was submitted and that Koha is processing
their data
--
I understand that some people might want to change which elements are
given the "waiting" class. I'm happy to renegotiate this as necessary.

This patch replace use of CGI::scroll_list() to show list of branches.
In two files, marc21_linking_section.pl and unimarc_field_4XX.pl,
the scrolling list is created but not used in the template file,
so the code is removed.
Also minor renaming/normalizing of variables.
To test:
1) Install with some branches, records and patrons
2.1) Select a record, click 'Place hold', select user,
there is a library pull-down next to 'Pickup at:',
list is ordered case sensitive
2.2) Go to Reports > Average loan time,

list without order
2.5) Edit/Add a patron, on section 'Library management'
there is a library pull-down, case sensitive
2.6) OPAC, as logged user, make a suggestion or hold,
there is library pull-down, correct order
3) Apply the patch
4.1) Repeat 2.1), correctly ordered list
4.2) Repeat 2.2), correctly ordered list

A) No branches, must show a message that are no
libraries defined
B) New patron, must show a correctly ordered
list of branches, current branch selected
C) Edit patron, must show a correctly ordered

Basically, when you check the checkbox for the superlibrarian permission
in the patron record, it will disable and uncheck all the other
permission checkboxes. When you uncheck the checkbox for the
superlibrarian permission, it will renable those boxes. There is also
some JS code there to ensure that the other boxes are disabled when
returning to the change permission screen (i.e. the patch is not just a
click handler).
In the event that the checkboxes for superlibrarian and other
permissions are already checked, the user will be shown a pop-up window
explaining that the superlibrarian permission is mutually exclusive to
the others (since it already includes the others) and that the
permissions for that patron will then be reset to just include the

The staff client has two almost identical include files which
can be consolidated: circ-toolbar.inc and members-toolbar.inc.
This patch marges the slight differences between them and
eliminates circ-toolbar.inc, that being the one which was used

for operations which redirect back either to circ or patrons,
circulation.pl defines "destination" in the template.

predates this patch but which never showed up until now.
To test, perform various operations from the toolbar on at least
two pages: circulation.pl and moremember.pl.
Operations: Edit, add child, duplicate, change password, print (all
options), search to hold, renew, set permissions, delete, update child
to adult, and export checked-in barcodes. In most cases simply
confirming that the link takes you to the right place is enough.

- Adding simple style to register link on home page
- Adding unique ids to new pages and to blocks containing
registration links
- Adding better page titles and breadcrumb links to some pages
- Correcting bug which meant incorrect message showed on registration
page when OPACPatronDetails preferences is turned off
- Passing patron details to opac-memberentry.tt so that patron's
name can be displayed in breadcrumbs
- Improving display in staff client of patron record updates
waiting to be approved.
- Adding a sort by name to output of pending patron record updates
- Adding updated JqueryUI library files to include expanded widget
options.
The changes in this patch require the addition of the jQueryUI
Accordion widget. Other pending patches are seeking to add
enough of the other remaining missing widgets that it seems time
to go ahead and add the rest.
Future submissions which add usage of these widgets will have
to be careful to make changes to Koha's CSS where necessary.

This development will add the ability for a new patron to register
himself or herself. The self-registration will attempt to match this
newly inputted data to any existing patrons and if any possible matches
are found, ask if the patron is sure he or she doesn't already have an
account at the library. A system preference may be set to prevent patron
self-registration if the system detects the possibility that the person
may already have an account.
Once the patron has registered, passing a captcha (or similar
bot-stopper), the patron will then be optionally verified a second time
via email. At this point, the patron will be able to print a temporary
library card (optional by system preference), and will be provided any
details necessary to access electronic resources (this body of text
would be a template in the slips and notices system). At the library's
choice, this new patron would either be set to a temporary patron status
(patron type set via system preference), or a fully-fledged patron
(allow patron type to be determined by age and/or other attributes).
Assuming the library uses temporary patron types for OPAC registrations,
this patron will next enter a queue and would need to physically enter
the library to verify himself and become a fully-fledged patron (most
likely by bringing in physical proof of address, etc.). The librarian
would look up the patron record and modify the patron type. If a
temporary patron has not been verified within a certain time frame
(defined by a system preference), the patron record will be deleted
from the system via a cron job.
For registered patrons, the system will allow each person to also
update his or her personal data via the OPAC. When a patron updates his
or her information, the changes will be entered into a queue to be
verified by a librarian (preventing a patron from inputting obviously
bogus data). The staff client home page will display the number of
patron records with changes awaiting approval. A librarian would then be
able to click through a list of modification requests, and approve or
deny each (with approval and denial alerts being sent to the patron via
the standard messaging system).
NEW SYSTEM PREFERENCES
* PatronSelfRegistration
* PatronSelfRegistrationDetectDuplicates
* PatronSelfRegistrationVerifyByEmail
* PatronSelfRegistrationPrintTemporaryCard
* PatronSelfRegistrationUseTemporaryStatus
* PatronSelfRegistrationExpireTemporaryAccountsDelay
NEW NOTICE
* Verify by email notice
NEW SLIP
* Temporary card slip
NEW CRON JOB
* delete_expired_opac_registrations.pl
- Deletes patrons that have not been upgraded from the temporary
status within the specified delay
* delete_unverified_opac_registrations.pl
- Deletes the unverified patrons based on the length of time specified
in the PatronSelfRegistrationExpireTemporaryAccountsDelay
The patron will register from self_registration.pl, linked off opac-main.pl if enabled. The registration page will be translatable to other languages in the same way that existing templates are.
Test Plan:
1) Enable PatronSelfRegistration
2) Set PatronSelfRegistrationExpireTemporaryAccountsDelay to a number
of days
3) Create a self-registered borrower category
4) Set PatronSelfRegistrationUseTemporaryStatus
5) Set PatronSelfRegistrationVerifyByEmail to "Don't require"
6) Go to OPAC, log out if logged in.
7) You should see the "Register here" link below the login box
8) Attempt to register yourself
9) Verify you can log in with your temporary password.
10) Set PatronSelfRegistrationVerifyByEmail to "Require"
11) Attempt another self-registration
12) Check the messages table, you should see a new message with a
verification link.
13) Copy and paste the link into a web browser to verify the registration
14) Log in with the given credentials to verify the account was created.
Test Plan - Part 2 - Borrower Modifications
1) Log in to OPAC, go to "my personal details" tab.
2) Make some modifications to your details.
3) Repeat steps 1 and 2 for two more borrowers.
4) Log in to Koha intranet with a user that can modify borrowers.
5) At the bottom of mainpage.pl, you should see:
Patrons requesting modifications: 3
6) Click the link
7) Approve one change, deny a different one, and ignore the third, then
submit.
8) Check the records, you should see the changes take affect on the
approved one, and no changes to the other two. You should also see
"Patrons requesting modifications: 1" at the bottom of mainpage.pl
now.

In order to prevent submission of dates with ambiguous two-digit
years this patch makes date-due input fields read-only so that
users must use date/time picker.
Other minor fixes:
- Adding missing labels
- Adding common class wrapper to datepicker for checkout and renewal
- Correcting focus handling on "specify due date" field (should
focus on barcode field after a date has been selected).
- Removing trailing comma from JavaScript (breaks IE)
To test, try typing an invalid number in any of the date due entry
fields: Under 'specify due date,' 'renewal due date,' or the
confirm "invalid" date dialog (after specifying a date in the past).
Manual entry should not work. Choosing a date/time using the
widget should work.

Adds the "alphabet" syspref, which can hold a space separated list
of charachters, which can be expanded into browse links when needed.
To test:
- Make sure to run updatedatabase
- Check that the "alphabet" syspref was added under "I18N/L10N preferences"
- Check that browse links are displayed Home › Patrons
- Add some weird charachters like ÆØÅ to "alphabet" and check that the
browse links are still displayed ok

This patch adds other name to the include which is used
to display patron names and adds this include in several
places where it can be used in place of direct output.
The patron-title include has been modified to handle the
two possible variable scopes throughout patron-related
templates. This is a hack similar to having both
circ-menu.tt and circ-menu.inc, but keeping both in the
same file.
Changes to some scripts were necessary to make the
othernames variable available to the include.
This patch also corrects some <title> tags and fixes
some incorrect capitalization (see Bug 2780).
To test, view each of the pages affected by these
template changes and confirm that the patron's name
displays correctly, including their "other name."

NOTE: After applying the patch I got following errors in members/pay.pl:
Global symbol "$writeoff_sth" requires explicit package name
Global symbol "$add_writeoff_sth" requires explicit package name
Added to lines at the begin of members/pay.pl:
our $writeoff_sth;
our $add_writeoff_sth;
Now the patch worked as expected.
However I am not quite sure if signing off is OK in this situation.

GetAllIssues can produce large lists
For performance purposes:
Dont loop over the list without cause
Dont do expensive processing in the loop
Dont needlessly copy the array
Do display formatting in the template
Dont extract the barcode list unless we are producing it
Reduce db calls by using the data to hand
Make the table in the template a bit more readable
