Four new options, one for single holidays, one for the repeatable holidays.
One to create exceptions on a range of dates, one to delete exceptions in a range of dates.
Note that the exceptions are not deleted if you delete a range of repeatable dates.
But if you delete a range of single holidays the exeptions inside will be deleted.

Expose authority import functionality to the command line import
scripts, and rename them from commit_biblios_file.pl and
stage_biblios_file.pl to commit_file.pl and stage_file.pl.
To test (note that these instructions assume you have a MARC21
installation and are using the provided sample file):
1. Find a file of authorities (a sample file with MARC21 authorities
is attached to bug 7475) and download it to your server
2. Stage the file using the following command (replace <filename> with
the name of the file you saved in step 1):
> misc/stage_file.pl --file <filename> --authorities
3. Note the batch number the script assigns to your batch
4. Commit the records using the following command (replace <batchnumber>
with the batch number you made note of in step 3):
> misc/commit_file.pl --batch-number <batchnumber>
5. Index the authorities Zebraqueue (or wait)
6. Confirm that the new authorities appear.
7. Create a matching rule with the following settings:
Code: AUTHTEST
Description: Personal name main entry
Match threshold: 999
Record type: Authority record
Search index: Heading-main
Score: 1000
Tag: 100
Subfields: a
Offset: 0
Length: 0
(note the ID of this matching rule)
8. Stage the authority file again, this time using the following
command:
> misc/stage_file.pl --file <filename> --authorities \
--match <matchingrule>
7. Revert the import with the following command:
> misc/commit_file.pl --batch-number <batchnumber> --revert
8. Index the authorities Zebraqueue (or wait)
9. Confirm that the records have been removed
10. Import an authority record with the Stage MARC/Manage staged MARC
tools in exactly the way you would for a bibliographic record,
but choose "Authority" instead of "Bibliographic" for the record
type.

In the circulation page, you can now export (as csv or iso2709) a list
of items which are currently checked out by a borrower.
3 export types:
- iso2709 with items: Export the items list in iso2709 format with item
informations.
- iso2709 without items: Export the items list in iso2709 format without
item informations.
- CSV: Export the items list based on a csv profil.
2 new system preferences:
- DontExportFields: a list of fields not to be export
- CsvProfileForExport: The Csv profile name used for the csv export
Test plan:
- Fill the CsvProfileForExport syspref
- go on the borrower circulation page containing checkouts
- Select one or more items and export them to the 3 different formats.
- check if the result file is what you expected

This patch builds on work by Lars Wirzenius for the Koha packages.
To date, the only way for a Koha librarian to obtain a complete backup
of their system has been to log into the system via SSH (or FTP) to
download the mysqldump file. This patch makes it possible for
superlibrarians in properly configured systems to download night backups
via the staff client's Export tool.
Recognizing that this is functionality with potentially very grave
security implications, system administrators must manually enable these
features in the koha-conf.xml configuration file.
The following configuration settings have been added to the koha-conf.xml
file:
* backupdir => directory where backups should be stored.
* backup_db_via_tools => whether to allow superlibrarians to download
database backups via the Export tool. The default is disabled, and
there is no way -- by design -- to enable this option without manually
editing koha-conf.xml.
* backup_conf_via_tools => whether to allow superlibrarians to download
configuration backups via the Export tool (this may be applicable to
packages only). The default is disabled, and there is no way -- by
design -- to enable this option without manually editing koha-conf.xml.
This commit modifies the following scripts to make use of the new
backupdir configuration option:
* koha-dump and koha-run-backups in the Debian packages
* The sample backup script misc/cronjobs/backup.sh
Note that for security reasons, superlibrarians will not be allowed
to download files that are not owned by the web server's effective user.
This imposes a de facto dependency on ITK (for Apache) or running the
web server as the Koha user (as is done with Plack).
To test:
1. Apply patch.
2. Go to export page as a superlibrarian. Notice that no additional
export options appear because they have not been enabled.
3. Add <backupdir>$KOHADEV/var/spool</backup> to the <config> section
of your koha-conf.xml (note that you will need to adjust that so that
it is pointing at a logical directory).
4. Create the aforementioned directory.
5. Go to export page as a superlibrarian. Notice that no additional
export options appear because they have not been enabled.
6. Add <backup_db_via_tools>1</backup_db_via_tools> to the <config>
section of your koha-conf.xml
7. Go to the export page as a superlibrarian. Notice the new tab.
8. Go to the export page as a non-superlibrarian. Notice there is no
new tab.
9. Run: mysqldump -u koha -p koha | gzip > $BACKUPDIR/backup.sql.gz
(substituting appropriate user, password, and database name)
10. Go to the export page as a superlibrarian, and look at the "Export
database" tab. If you are running the web server as your Koha user,
and ran the above command as your Koha user, you should now see the
file listed as an option for download.
11. If you *did* see the file listed, change the ownership to something
else: sudo chown root:root $BACKUPDIR/backup.sql.gz
11a. Confirm that you no longer see the file listed when you look at the
"Export database" tab.
12. Change the ownership on the file to your web server (or Koha) user:
sudo chown www-data:www-data backup.sql.gz
13. Go to the export page as a superlibrarian, and look at the "Export
database" tab. You should now see backup.sql.gz listed.
14. Choose to download backup.sql.gz
15. Confirm that the downloaded file is what you were expecting.
If you are interested, you can repeat the above steps but replace
<backup_db_via_tools> with <backup_conf_via_tools>, and instead of
creating an sql file, create a tar file.
To test packaging: run koha-dump, confirm that it still creates a
usable backup.
------
This signoff contains two changes:
10-1. If no backup/conf files were present, then the message telling you
so doesn't appear and the download button does. Made them behave
correctly.
10-2. The test for a file existing required it to be owned by the
webserver UID. This change makes it so it only has to be readable.

If you would like two fields in one from to limit each other (one
is date from, one is date to), add these classes to each:
"datepickerfrom" and "datepickerto." This will prevent an invalid
entry, e.g. a date in the latter which falls before the former.

Current jQuery-driven tabs are done using a very old
version of the tabs plugin. This patch upgrades jQueryUI
to the latest version and adds the tabs widget dependency
to the jqueryui js file and updates the syntax for existing
tabs:
- $("#foo > ul").tabs(); changes to $("#foo").tabs();
- Remove full URL from tab links (use #anchor only).
Pages with "static" tabs (tabs which are built in the
markup rather than generated by the plugin) have been
modified to use their own style. Examples: pay.tt in
the staff client and opac-readingrecord.tt in the OPAC.

This feature will add the option of displaying a select quote
for the day on the OPAC homepage. It will include the addition
of a QOTD editor in the tools section of the staff interface
which will allow the addition, editing, and deletion of quotes.
A single system preference will enable/disable the display of
the QOTD on the OPAC homepage. A new granular permission will
also be added to conrol user access to the QOTD editor tool.
Possible extentions to this would be code to allow alternate
quote selection algorithms to be added to vary how the currently
displayed quote is selected from the table of quotes.
This patch is a squash of the following work:
--Adding quotes table to kohastructure.sql and updatedatabase.pl
Note: This patch is intended for a MySQL based installation only.
That means that it includes backticks because that is what is required
at this point in history to install Koha correctly on a MySQL based
installation.
Feel free to port this over to the Pg stuff in the data/Pg directory.
--Adding system preference to control display of QOTD on OPAC main page
--Adding sample quote data
These quotes are taken from various US presidents. I'm not sure these
are applicable to the rest of the world, so I'm leaving it to translators
and others to add sample quote data for other languages.
--Adding edit_quotes user permissions
--Squash with other db related patches in this series
--Adding quotes editor pages to tools
--Adding QOTD editor link to tools homepage
--Integration of DataTables into QOTD Editor
--Impleminting jEditable into the quote editor
--Adding delete and add option to editor
--Fixing OPAC display so the QOTD div does not show if no quote is returned
--Also removing useless code from tools/quotes.pl
--Adding spans around QOTD foo in opac-main.tt
--Also fixing quote selection logic to accomodate the possibility of

--Changing timestamp column header to a more user-friendly 'Last Displayed'
--Fixing bug in quote selection logic. This bug caused a situation where

This patch adds display of local cover images in the following places:
1. OPAC Results page
2. OPAC Details page
3. Separate image viewer page for the OPAC
4. Intranet Details page
5. Separate image viewer page for the Intranet
Display in the Details and (OPAC) Results pages is handled via Javascript
rather than via direct embedding, to better handle the situation where most
records have local cover images, but a few do not.
Local cover images do not currently display in the Intranet Results page
How to use/test :
Assign user permission to the user Tools > (upload_local_cover_images Upload
local cover images). In order to upload local images, login to the staff
client. Go to Home > Tools > Upload Cover Images. Here you can upload cover
images either singly or in bulk in the form of a zip file. If uploading
singly, click on image file, browse the image from your local disk, type in
the biblio number of the catalogue entry and press upload. If uploading in
bulk as a zip file, the zip file must contain (in addition to cover images)
one text file named either datalink.txt OR idlink.txt. This file should
have mapping of biblionumber to image file name in the zip one per line
with comma or tab as delimiters. For example:
1, scanned_cover_image_of_bib_no_1.jpg
2, scanned_cover_image_of_bib_no_1.jpg
Cover images will be resized to a large image of 800x600 and a thumbnail of
200x140. Depending on the setting of AllowMultipleCovers, it is possible to
upload multiple images for a single bibliographic record. However, even if
multiple covers are permitted, you have the option of replacing the existing
covers by checking the "Replace existing covers" option on the upload screen.
1. The patch adds a menu link in Tools from where you can upload local cover
images
2. It adds a user permission to enable access control to this menu item under
Tools
3. It adds a system preference OPACLocalCoverImages under Enhanced Content.
This needs to be turned on to show local cover images in OPAC.
Once you have uploaded local images, if you search for the biblio, the local
cover should show up in search as well as search detail pages in the OPAC, and
the details view in the Intranet.

Applies cleanly now.
A frequently-requested feature for Koha, especially by special libraries, is
the ability to upload local cover images into Koha.
This patch adds a bibliocoverimage table, and image handling code in the
C4::Images module. Key features of the implementation include:
1. The ability to have multiple cover images for a biblio
2. Handling for "full size" (800x600) and thumbnail-size (200x140) images
3. Uploading images directly from the record view
The image display functionality by Koustubha Kale of Anant Corporation will
follow in a second patch.

In changing the toolbar configuration I chose to make the display

clearer for someone approaching the configuration trying to under-
stand how buttons are displayed. I also chose to use the
shorthand "|" instead of "separator" for brevity. This last change
is the only one made to the edithelp configuration.

There is template logic in manage-marc-import.tt which is intended
to set the "selected" option for the framework chooser ("Add new
bibliographic records into this framework"). However, I can't see
any place in the code which sends the "selected" variable to the
template, and I can't see any circumstance in which a value would
be passed to the template.
This patch removes the "selected" variable from the template.

This bug must have been present for a while. There wasn't proper
handling of repeating yearly holidays when it came to the label.
To be clear, I believe this bug only affected holidays which repeat
yearly on the same date.
Instead of correcting the label to match the existing scheme I
added a new color code and label so that there are now two styles
for yearly and weekly repeating holdiays. This makes it more
clear what kind of repeating holiday you're looking at (rather
than having one color code for both).
After applying this patch, new and existing holidays which
repeat yearly on the same day should be color-coded orange and have
a 'Holiday repeating yearly' label. Weekly holidays are now
labeled 'Holiday repeating weekly.'

Rather than having options for MARC21 and UNIMARC in the "Character encoding"
dropdown, the user should be able to select the appropriate character encoding.
The default retains the current behavior, which is to allow the system to guess
which character encoding is in use. However, it should be noticed that this is
almost always wrong for non-UTF8 records with non-ASCII characters. Specifying
a character set is much more reliable if you're not using UTF-8.

The MARC21 framework uses $0 for the item withdrawn status. Because
of how the tool had marked the barcode and stocknumber as being
uneditable, this resulted in an off-by-one error, causing the wrong
item fields to be updated.
Fixed by simply not including the uneditable fields in list
of item fields that can be edited - if you can't change the barcode,

This feature is designed to manage collections of items that move
from library to library periodically. Koha can already track who *has*
and item, and who *owns* and item, but not who *should have* an item.
That is the issue this feature addresses.
It allows a persion to create a collection, and add any number of items
to that collection. The collection can then be transferred from library
to library. If an item shows up at a library that does not currently
'hold' that collection, Koha will ask you to transfer it to the library
that does currently 'hold it. In that way, one can even transfer
collections where some of the items are currently checked out. As soon
as they make it back to a library, they will get transferred to the
current library holding that collection.
The feature consists of 4 main pages.
'Home' Page: The landing page, lists collections and provides access to
the rest of the tools.
Access is via the Tools page.
Edit Collections: Add/Delete new rotating collections
Add/Remove Items: Add/Remove items from a given collection
Transfer Collection: Set the current 'holder' of a given collection.
Librarian access is controlled by 'CAN_user_tools_rotating_collections'
Fixed inconsistent usuage of primary key in delete
Refactored:
Moved operations to separate subroutines to clarify data flow
Removed unnecessary redirects to self
Renamed confusingly named else variable passed to template

batches, it is now possible to 'clean' a batch by
removing all bib and item records staged in the batch. This
has the effect of helping to reduce database space used
by old import batches as well as removing staged records
from the cataloging reservoir search. Note that 'cleaning'
a batch affects only the copies of the records that were staged;
if the batch was committed, cleaning the batch does not
affect any bibs and items that were committed into the catalog.
Also note that once you clean a committed batch of records, it is
impossible to undo the previous commit operation.

The feature in question is described in bug 2952; to
summarize the enhancement, which the earlier patch
description did not do, the list of bibs in an
import record batch now includes a column linking
each import record to the bib that was actually created
or updated when the import batch was committed.
The improvements in this patch are:
* If bib in import batch has not been committed, it
has not been linked to a matching new or updated bib.
In that case, do not create a link to a guaranteed
404 (/cgi-bin/koha/catalogue/detail.pl?biblionumber=)
* When reverting an import batch, set matched_biblionumber
to NULL for affected records - otherwise, the Bib
column will include links to bibs that may no longer
exist.
* Fixed a minor HTML validation error.

When ExtendedPatronAttributes is ON, the batch
patron import tool's behavior changes as follows:
[1] A new (required) column is added to the input CSV
format. This column should contain a list of
attributes to set for the record, each value
preceded by its type code. For example, if
the superlibrarian has defined two types,
a unique identifier INSTID and a repeatable
BASEBALL, this field could contain:
"INSTID:12345,BASEBALL:Cubs"
This field must be wrapped in quotes if multiple
values are defined. Since values can contain
spaces, additional doubled-quotes may be required:
"INSTID:12345,BASEBALL:Cubs,""BASEBALL:White Sox"""
When replacing a patron record, any attributes specified
in the input file replace all of the attribute values
of any type that were previously assigned to the patron
record.
[2] It is possible to specify a field other than the
cardnumber to use for looking for matching patrons.
Specifically, any attribute marked as a unique ID
can be used. The operator is asked to specify
which ID type to use; if an input record has an
attribute value of that type, and exactly one patron
record in the database has that value, then the
record will be overlaid or ignored according to the
overlay setting.

with a record already in the database. The options are:
if match found (overlay_action):
create_new (just add the incoming record)
replace (replace the matched record with the incoming one)
use_template (option not implemented)
ignore (do nothing with the incoming bib; however, the
items attached to it may still be processed
based on the item action)
if no match is found (nomatch_action):
create_new (just add the incoming record)
ignore (do nothing with the incoming bib; in this
case, any items attached to it will be
ignored since there will be nothing to
attach them to)
The following options for handling items embedded in the
bib record are now available:
always_add (add the items to the new or replaced bib)
add_only_if_match (add the items only if the incoming bib
matches an existing bib)
add_only_if_add (add the items only if the incoming bib
does *not* match an existing bib)
ignore (ignore the items entirely)
With these changes, it is now possible to support the following use cases:
[1] A library joining an existing Koha database wishes to add their
items to existing bib records if they match, but does not want
to overlay the bib records themselves.
[2] A library wants to load a file of records, but only handle
the new ones, not ones that are already in the database.
[3] A library wants to load a file of records, but only
handle the ones that match existing records (e.g., if
the records are coming back from an authority control vendor).
Documentation changes:
* See description above; also, screenshots of the 'stage MARC records
for import' and 'manage staged MARC records' should be updated.

In the list of bibs for an import batch, the sequence
number is now a link to a preview of the original
MARC record - uses the same JavaScript widget as the
preview for Z39.50 search results.

Adjusted the user permissions editing page as follows:
* Replaced table with a list
* Implemented a tree control using the jQuery Treeview plugin
* When CheckSpecificUserPermissions is ON, if a module
flag has specific (i.e., children) permissions, allow
them to be edited - this is where the tree control
comes in.
* Added some hooks and an initial stab at the CSS
to style the permissions editor tree.

This is likely the durable fix to bridge the gap between syspref on the server
and client side validation scripts. It may be useful to separate Date_from_syspref
from the calendar js, but at this time their applicability is 1-to-1.
Note also js debug variable and CGI param('debug') responsiveness.

it does not get killed if it takes longer
than the Apache timeout.

Rule :
- always format_date() before sending date to template
- always format_date_in_iso immediatly after reading a date coming from a parameter
- deal internally only with dates in iso
Note that :
- I could not test things related to issues stats due to the my DB -issues.issuedate not filled, see commit about 3.00.00.006
- acquisitions_stats does not work when you filter on date
