This patch is a first step to provide a preview mode for notice
templates.
CHECKIN, CHECKOUT and HOLD_SLIP are supported so far.
Maybe more, but I have not tested yet and the interface will not allow
you to generate the preview.
The idea is to provide an idea of how will render the messages generated
from a notice template.
A new "Preview" button is added close to each textarea on the editing
notice templates view.
For each notice template code (letter_code), we will need some input
data to produce the preview.
For instance, for CHECKIN we need an barcode. From the barcode we
can guess all the other data.
For CHECKOUT we will need the borrowernumber and the barcode.
Note that the way to enter the data for the preview is not really
user-friendly, for CHECKOUT you will have to fill
'borrowernumber|barcode', but the placeholder will help you to know how
and what to fill.
In the modal window, you will see 4 blocks:
1/ the content of the letter (with the placeholds << >>)
2/ the generated message (with the data filled)
3/ if the letter contained historical syntax markers, the screen will
try to generate a notice template using the TT syntax
4/ the generated message from this TT syntax
=> You will be able to compare the 2 generated messages.
What is the goal of this first patchset:
- Show this first POC and get feedback from other developpers
- Add a way to easily visualise the differences between the 2 syntaxes
- Confort users with the TT syntax and the migration step from the
historical syntax.
I'd like to get opinions before going further.
The possibilities:
- Mock data to get fully working generated messages for any notice
templates. For instance, for CHECKIN and CHECKOUT, the item is not
checked in/out yet. So we cannot access the issue's information.
(I have no idea how to do that)
- Browse the data to get the ones we want to use for the preview (big).

A new bug has been highlighted since:
commit b830349f45
Bug 19453: Incorrect jQuery selector for fund drop down validation
Prior to bug 19453 the check on the existence of the fund did not work
as expected, no select with name='budget_code' existed and the error was
never raised.
Now it works but expect a fund to be selected for every record to
import.
This check must only be done if there is no default value selected.
Test plan:
- Create an order from a staged file
- Do not select any funds
=> You must get a warning
- Select a specific fund for some of the records
=> You must get a warning
- Select a default fund in the last tab
=> You must not get a warning and the records must be imported and
inserted with the correct fund

This patch adds the possibility to define default indicators in
the MARC frameworks. It adds 2 columns in the marc_tag_structure table in
the database in order to accomplish this. All files that reference this
table have also been updated to reflect these added fields.
Test: Add or edit a MARC framework. In the Field list should be 2 extra
columns. It should be possible to add default indicators (1 character)
in these fields. Nothing else should have changed in the meantime.
The default indicator values are not yet visible in the cataloguing module.
The default values are also loaded in the cataloguing form.
Test: Define default values in some MARC framework. Go to cataloguing
and create a new record using this framework. Verify that the defined
defaults are visible when set. Verify the default is empty (as before)
if no default was set. Verify that if the default is changed, the
record is saved with the manually changed value. Verify that upon
changing such a new record, the manually set indicator value is used
and not the default one from the framework.

The ACQ MARC framework is only used for the ‘Item’ block.
This patch add the ability to define biblio fields (!= 995 or 952) to
customize the display of the bibliographic details when ordering.
This new feature is controlled by a new pref:
UseACQFrameworkForBiblioRecords
Test plan:
- Create a new installation to populate the ACQ framework correctly
- Set the pref UseACQFrameworkForBiblioRecords to "Use"
- Create a new order
=> You will see the lib from the ACQ framework
- Add/remove/update biblio subfields in the ACQ framework
- Create a new order
=> You should see the new subfields displayed
Note for QA: I though I would be able to refactor existing code to make
it more flexible, but it is a bit messy and lost a lot of time. I
finally decided to copy/paste the existing code. I simplified it as, I
think, we do not want the plugin, etc. like in the full biblio editor.

A number of Koha plugins have been written that enhance Koha's public catalog. These plugins often make due to adding css and javascript to the various opac system preferences. It would be nice if the plugin system had hooks so plugin developers could add code the the head block and the area where we include javascript in the opac template.
Test Plan:
1) Apply this patch
2) Download and install the Kitchen Sink plugin ( v2.1.12 or later )

4) Restart all the things if you can ( restart_all if you are using kohadevbox )

for your opac is now orange ( assuming you've not customized the

In acqui/parcel.pl both the "Pending orders" and "Already received" tables show how many holds there are for the given record. However, the count of holds in the "Pending orders" table confuses librarians because it only lists holds for the particular items in the orderline. Due to that, the holds column may show 0 holds even if there are a dozen record level holds for that bib! This is not what librarians seem to expect, instead it seems that the same total holds in the "Pending orders" table would be preferred.

When you want to merge invoices you have a page with a non editable
field 'Invoice number:' it shows the content of the first invoice to be
merged.
But if you validate by clicking the 'merge' button you arrive on the
next page which says that 'Invoice has been modified' and if you quit
this page without saving you have now a merged invoice without Invoice
number.
This tiny patch just prevents this issue to occur.
Test plan :
1° go to the acqui/invoices.pl page and search invoices to merge.
You must have at least 2 invoices on the same vendor
2° check boxes to select invoices to merge and click on 'merge selected
invoices' button
3° next page you see the non editable field 'Invoice number:'
4° click on the 'merge' button
5° next page you see 'Invoice has been modified'
6° leave this page i.e click on the left link 'Invoices'
7° search invoices you'll see the merged invoice without invoice number.
Apply the patch, replay the steps 1 to 3
4° on this page you can enter your invoice number and click on the
'merge' button.
If you leave this field empty and click merge, a message informs you
that it is required and you can not merge.

We lost the ability to place multiple holds when we are searching for
patrons. The multi_holds parameter is lost and not handled correctly in
the template.

- Make sure you can place multiple holds for a patron you will search for
- Same for simple hold
TODO the multiple holds view should not be displayed if only 1 record
has been selected from the search result.

My patch moving patron-related templates' javascript to the footer left
out a script from the patron entry template which is required if the
patron header search menu is going to work.
To test, apply the patch and go to Patrons -> New patron.

introduce regression!
The idea is to display an empty option in the patron attributes select
and ignore it. That way we can deal with false values 0 and "" which
were skipped before.

Use the batch patron modification tool to add/update/remove them
Play with empty "" and 0 values, as well as other values

This patch makes two trivial changes in the inventory interface:
[1] If you have uploaded a barcode file, the compare barcodes checkbox is
automatically checked. In most cases this will be the option the user wants.
The compare will report missed items on the shelf.
[2] If the compare barcodes checkbox is checked, the Skip items on loan-
checkbox is automatically checked. This again is often desirable. If you
compare, you normally are not interested in seeing items reported missing
while they are checked out.
Test plan:
[1] Upload a barcode file on inventory. Is the compare checked?
[2] Toggle compare. Does 'skip items on loan' change accordingly?

This removes a lot of useless code relating to the print function from opac-basket.tt, opac-basket.pl and opac/basket.js.
It also fixes the CSS so that no extra blank page is printed.
To test:
0) Add an item to your cart
1) Print your basket
Note the appearance of the page. There will be an extra blank page.
2) Apply patch
3) Reload basket
4) Print your basket
The appearce should be identical. The extra blank page is gone.

The plugins handling code expects plugins implementing an 'uninstall' method for
cleanup purposes. It executes this method, and then moves on with removing the
configuration entries in the storage, and the plugin itself.
But the 'plugins-home.tt' template makes the tool display the 'Uninstall'
link in the dropdown ONLY when the plugin has the 'uninstall' method.
This patch fixes the issue.
To reproduce:
- Install the KitchenSink plugin [1]
=> SUCCESS: The 'actions' dropdown for KitchenSink shows an 'Uninstall' option
- Edit the code for the plugin:
$ sudo vim /var/lib/koha/kohadev/plugins/Koha/Plugin/Com/ByWaterSolutions/KitchenSink.pm
- Remove the uninstall sub
- Restart everything:
$ restart_all
- Reload the browser
=> FAIL: There's no 'Uninstall' option in the actions dropdown.
- Apply this patch
- Restart everything
$ restart_all
- Reload the browser
=> SUCCESS: The 'actions' dropdown for KitchenSink shows an 'Uninstall' option
- Sign off :-D

This patch removes [% KOHA_VERSION %] from the <script> tag for some
third-party JavaScript sources. [% KOHA_VERSION %] should only be used
for Koha's JS resources.
To test, apply the patch and enable the SocialNetworks and
NovelistSelect* preferences.
In the OPAC, view the detail page for a bibliographic record. In the
right-hand sidebar you should see social network icons for Google+ and
Twitter. Clicking either of them should trigger a sharing popup window.
If you have Novelist credentials and can enable the feature for the OPAC
you should see Novelist content in the place specified in your
preferences.
If you don't have Novelist credentials, put some random text in the
NovelistSelectProfile system preference. Looking at the detail page in
the OPAC, view source. You should see a link to Novelist JS around line
1020 of the source. Clicking the link should show JavaScript. This
confirms that the path is correct, thus the bug has been fixed.
Note: The QA tool will complain that [% KOHA_VERSION %] is missing. This
is a false positive.

Template smart-rules.tt in administration contains some if/elsif/else with translatable strings.
For example :
[% IF rule.onshelfholds == 1 %]
Yes
[% ELSIF rule.onshelfholds == 2 %]
If all unavailable
[% ELSE %]
If any unavailable
[% END %]
Adding span to translatable strings will allow to have the same translation than :
<select name="onshelfholds" id="onshelfholds">
<option value="1">Yes</option>
<option value="0">If any unavailable</option>
<option value="2">If all unavailable</option>
</select>
This is important to allow editing an existing circulation and fine rule.
Actually for example in french some strings are translated differently :
msgid "%s Yes %s If all unavailable %s If any unavailable %s"
msgstr "%s Oui %s Si tous indisponibles %s Si aucun indisponible %s"
msgid "If any unavailable"
msgstr "Si au moins un exemplaire est indisponible"
Test plan :
1) Look at PO files, for example fr-FR and see there is :
msgid "%s Yes %s If all unavailable %s If any unavailable %s"
msgid "If any unavailable"
2) Apply patch
3) update PO files
4) Look at PO files, for example fr-FR and see there is now only :
msgid "If any unavailable"
5) Install translation
6) Go to Administration > Circulation and fine rule
7) Check that when editing an existing rule, edition comboboxes are set on the correct value
8) Create a default holds policy by item type and check that correct values are displayed in table

Here we are, patronflags is used in a couple of places where (almost) all flags
were really useful: C4::SIP::ILS::Patron->new and circulation.pl
This patch only deal with the circulation code as I am not convident
enough with SIP code.
The change does not seems trivial because of the complexity of the
existing code, but the logic is the same. We send a variable to the
template depending on the situation of the patron.
I guess only code eyes ball could catch issue in this patch quickly.
Maybe we need to find a good place in a Koha module to move this code
and provide code coverage (especially when C4::SIP::ILS::Patron will
reuse it).

There's javascript code in opac detail view that tries to replace
the word "Show" with "Hide" (and vice versa) in a title attribute.
In addition to those words being untranslatable, a word replacement
like that would not work properly when using other languages.
Replace the single title attribute with two translatable strings,
one for the "Show" case and one "Hide", and use the whole
string instead of trying to replace a single word.

2) in OPAC, search the catalog and go to the detail view

"Show pagination list (1-5 / 5)"
4) Click on the "Browse results"
5) Hover the mouse again over the text. The popup should show
"Hide pagination list (1-5 / 5)"

This patch modifies the templates for MARC21 editor plugins so that

subfield (if they aren't already):
In a bibliographic framework:
000 -> marc21_leader.pl
006 -> marc21_field_006.pl
007 -> marc21_field_007.pl
008 -> marc21_field_008.pl
773$t -> marc21_linking_section.tt
In an authorities framework:
000 -> marc21_leader_authorities.tt
008 -> marc21_field_008_authorities.tt
-> marc21_field_008_classifications.tt
For each field, trigger the plugin by clicking the plugin link. Test
JavaScript-driven functionality in each plugin window and confirm that

The GetMemberAccountRecords may be a perf killer, it retrieves all the
account lines of a patron and then the related item and biblio
information.
Most of the time we only want to know how much the patron owns to the
library (sum of amountoutstanding). We already have this information in
Koha::Patron->account->balance.
This patch replaces the occurrences of this subroutine by fetching only
the information we need, either the balance, the detail, or both.
It removes the formatting done in the module, to use the TT plugin
'Price' instead.
There is a very weird and error-prone behavior/feature in
GetMemberAccountBalance (FIXME): as the accountlines.accounttype is a
varchar(5), the value of the authorised value used for the
ManInvInNoissuesCharge pref (category MANUAL_INV) is truncated to the 5
first characters. That could lead to unexpected behaviors.
On the way, this patchset also replace the GetMemberAccountBalance
subroutine, which returns the balance, the non issues charges and the
other charges. We only need to have the balance and the non issues
charges to calcul the third one.
Test plan:
Add several fees for a patron and play with HoldsInNoissuesCharge,
RentalsInNoissuesCharge and ManInvInNoissuesCharge.
The information (biblio and item info, as well as the account line) must
be correctly displayed on the different screens: 'Fines' module, fine
slips, circulation module
Note that this patchset could introduce regression on price formatting,
but will be easy to fix using the TT plugin.

This patch adds the same feature as bug 10858 for the OPAC interface:
after a search, librarians will be able to browse selected results.
The results can be selected from several pages.
By extension it is possible to add results from several pages to a list
or the cart.
When at least one result is selected, a new "Browse selected records" button
becomes usable and change the behaviour of the existing browser.
The whole feature can be turned off with the pref BrowseResultSelection.
Test plan:
- Launch a search (on the staff interface)
- Check some biblios
- Go on another page
- Check some biblios
- Come back to a page you already check results and confirm that they are
still checked
- Click on the "Browse selected records" button
- Check that you are able to browse results you had checked.
You can also:
- add them to the cart
- add them to a list
QA note: the browsers at the OPAC and the one at the staff interface are completely different
That's why the code is not mimicking what has been done on bug 10858.
The behaviour must stay the same anyway.

deletion / anonymization so that they match the text used in the tools

process. At each step the breadcrumbs should read "Batch patron
deletion/anonymization" instead of "clean patron records."

Finally we add the ability to export the list of lost items.
The items will be export in CSV format using a CSV profile defined.
Test plan:
0/ Apply all the patches from this patch set
1/ Define a CSV profile (type=SQL, Usage=Export lost items in report)
Try something like that to get the same columns as the default table:
Title=biblio.title
|Author=biblio.author
|Lost status=items.itemlost
|Lost on=items.itemlost_on
|Barcode=items.barcode
|Call number=items.itemcallnumber
|Date last seen=items.datelastseen
|Price=items.price
|Rep. price=items.replacementprice
|Library=items.homebranch
|item type=items.itype
|Current location=items.holdingbranch
|Location=items.location
|Not for loan status=items.notforloan
|Notes=items.itemnotes
2/ Use the filters and select items to export
3/ Export the list of items you want and make sure the CSV is correctly
formatted and contains the items you selected
QA Notes:
- I think we should add default CSV profiles for the different "usage",
but I would consider it as a separate enhancement since none of them is
defined yet
- Most of the code to export CSV is no reusable. We should make
Koha::Exporter::Record support CSV export for type=SQL (it only
supports MARC type so far).

Before this patch set, we used KohaTable to display a table with the
column visibility plugin, and an usual dataTable initialisation for the
filters.
For the lost items report table we will need both.
To do so we need to reorganize the code a bit
We cannot pass a selector but the id of the node which represents the
table. Indeed it is how works currently the filters (we may want to
improve that later)

In order to simplify and make uniform the code, the controller scripts send
a Koha::Patron object to the templates instead of all attributes of a patron.
That will make the code much more easier to maintain and will be less
error-prone.
The variable "patron" sent to the templates is supposed to represent the
patron the librarian is editing the detail.
In the members module and some scripts of the circulation module, the
patron's detail are sent one by one to the template. That leads to
frustration from developpers (making sure everything is passed from all
scripts) and to regression (we got tone of bugs in the last year because
of this way to do).
With this patch set it will be easy access patron's detail, passing only
1 variable from the controllers.

This follow-up corrects handling of clicks on the "Update child" menu
option when the patron is an adult. Previously the click handler was
conditionally added via template markup. This patch modifies it to use
the data-tooltip attribute as an indicator that the option is disabled.
To test, apply the patch and clear your browser cache if necessary.
- Open an adult patron's record for viewing.
- Choose More -> Update child from the toolbar menu.
- The menu item should be disabled, and should show a tooltip.
- Clicking the menu item should do nothing.
- Open a child patron's record for viewing.
- Choose More -> Update child from the toolbar menu.
- The patron should be updated to an adult category.

This patch corrects the footer include for two patron-related popup
windows. popup-bottom.inc should be considered obsolete, and
"'intranet-bottom.inc' popup_window=1" used in its place.
To test you must have more than one adult-type patron category defined.
- Locate and view a child-type patron record.
- From the "More" menu in the toolbar, choose "Update child to adult
patron."
- The popup window which appears should look correct and work
correctly.
- Add a new patron and enter the first and last names of an existing
patron.
- When Koha asks to confirm a possible duplicate record, click the
"View existing record" link. The popup which is triggered should
look correct.

This patch modifies the staff client patron module templates so that
JavaScript is included in the footer instead of the header.
This patch touches a lot of files because the changes are all
interdependent, affecting a couple of module-wide include files.
To test, apply the patch and test the JavaScript-driven features of the
modified templates: All button controls, DataTables functionality, tabs,
etc.
Patrons -> Patrons home, patron search results
-> Manage pending modification requests
-> Patron detail page
-> Edit patron
-> Set guarantor
-> Fines
-> Account, Pay fines, Create manual invoice, Create manual
credit
-> Print receipts for different kinds of charges
-> Routing lists
-> Circulation history
-> Holds history
-> Notices
-> Statistics
-> Files
-> Purchase suggestions
-> Discharges
-> Housebound
-> Set permissions
-> Change password
-> Print summary, slips, and overdues
-> Update child to adult patron type
Patron toolbar and patron search bar operations should work correctly on
all pages.
This patch also updates the template for searching the Norwegian
national patron database, but it has NOT been tested.

Changes the appearance of the cardnumber entry field in memberentrygen.tt
The "Leave empty for autocalc" message has been moved to the hint div
under the input field. If AutoMemberNum and BorrowerMandatoryField
interfere with each other, the auto calc hint is replace by a warning
telling the user that auto calc has been disabled.
Cardnumber should now correctly appear as mandatory if marked as such
in BorrowerMandatoryField.
Test plan:
0] Apply patch
1} Disable AutoMemberNum, remove cardnumber from BorrowerMandatoryField
2) Edit or create a patron, scroll down to cardnumber input field

There is no mention of auto calc
3> Enable AutoMemberNum

This patch fixes a bug which was introduced by Bug 19851 ("Improve
responsive layout handling of staff client menu bar."). The changes in
that patch did not take into account the effects it would have on the
language menus in the footer.
This patch adds some additional classes to some menus and adds some CSS
for those classes so that menus are correctly aligned left or right
based on their position on the screen.
To test, apply the patch and clear your cache if necessary. You should
have multiple translations installed and enabled, at least one of which
should have more than one "sub-language" (e.g. en-GB and en-US).
In the staff client, test the appearance of various drop-down menus with
the browser width above and below 800 pixels wide:
- Search and More menus in the header
- User/Library menu in the header
- Language selection in the footer
- Language selection in the header
In all cases, menus should look correct and should not be aligned in
such a way that they disappear off the left or right sides of the
screen.

This patch improves the existing patron-title.inc include file to

information. Using it everywhere patron's details are displayed will
permit to
homogenise the way they are displayed. The file takes now a patron

method on it to know if patron's information can be shown by the logged

You should be able to access patron's information of patrons outside of your group
and get "You are not allowed to see the information of this patron."
If you try and access a patron page with a borrowernumber that does not exist, you
should get "This patron does not exist"
Technical note:
A new C4::Output subroutine is created in this patch: "output_and_exit_if_error"
Executed at the beginning of the script it will permit not to copy/paste all the
different checks to know if the logged in user is authorised to see patron's information.
The design here can be discussed, but I did not find an alternative with as less changes.
On the way I refactor what we did with 'unknowuser' previously: it will now work with all
patron pages, not only the few that used it.
Note that the 'or die "Not logged in";' part should not be needed, but... who trusts
C4::Auth?
I think it could be used as a safeguard later. I am willing to sed and remove them
if required.
Changes in discharge.pl are mainly indentation changes.
With this patch we should now have a $patron variable that refer to the patron we
want to access. That will be very useful to remove plenty of code in members/* and
only pass this variable to the template (instead of 1 variable per patron's attribute).

This patchset adds a new feature that will allow libraries inside a
single Koha installation to restrict access to information of patrons
that
The group of libraries feature is introduced by bug 15707, see this bug for more
information.
Let's imagine that 2 groups G1 and G2 are defined and that they include 2 libraries
each G1a, G1b and G2c, G2d: logged in users attached to G1a will only see patron's
information from G1a and G1b.
To add more flexibility, a new user permission named 'view_borrower_infos_from_any_libraries'
will drive this behavior. If set, the patron will be able to see patron's information
of any libraries.
If the restriction is set, the logged in user will not be able to search, show, edit,
delete patron's information of patrons attached to groups of libraries outside his
own group.
In situations we need to refer to a patron, for holds and checkouts for instance,
and his information cannot be viewed, a text "A patron from library G1A" will be
displayed.
Considered unecessary or outside the scope of this bug report:
* The report module is not affected by this feature for obvious reasons
* The firstname and surname of guarantors, basket (acq) managers, patrons linked
to orders are still displayed.
* Log viewer: Can only be staff
* patron list: you cannot add patrons from another group of librairies, but can
see/delete from list (too much rewrite, or we can test for patron one by one?).
* "Patron card creator" tool is not impacted by this feature.
* Upload patron images is not impacted by this patch, should it be?
* Tools:
- Upload patrons
- Clean borrowers tool (This can can done easily updating Koha::Patrons->search
with Koha::Patrons->search_limited in search_upcoming_membership_expires and
search_patrons_to_anonymise but we will need to move GetBorrowersToExpunge to
Koha::Patrons first)
We can discuss these different points but will be other bug reports not to add
more complexity to this first patchset.
Test plan:
You will find a test plan in the following commit messages.
Start by creating different group of libraries and patrons with and without the
new permission. Open different browser sessions to ease the tests.
Note that all patches have to be applied to test the different test plans.

3. manually edit the po file, remove the fuzzy tags.
And translate the string. You can just copy the original and
replace some parts by gibberish.
4. perl translate install YOUR_LANG
19. Re-export the same CSVs and compare with the original version to check that
- delimiter syspref is honored
- the headers are translatable
- there is no whitespace regression (additional newlines or spaces)

When saving the "Did you mean?" setting, a popup with the
message "Successfully saved configuration" is shown, but
it cannot be translated. Make it translatable.
Test plan:
1) Go to Home -> Administration -> Did you mean?
2) Change the settings, click on "Save configuration"
3) Popup with "Successfully saved configuration"
4) Apply patch, update po-files, etc.
5) Check that the msgid "Successfully saved configuration"
is in fi-FI-staff-prog.po, and translate the message
6) install the fi-FI language
7) Change your UI language to finnish
8) Repeat 1, 2, 3. You should now see the same popup
message translated.

In javascript, using indexOf to test if a number exists in an array
of strings doesn't work, and makes it possible to add the same user
multiple times into the same budget fund.
Make borrowernumber into string and compare that instead.
Test plan:
1) Go to Home -> Administration -> Budgets -> Funds -> Add Fund
2) Add a user to the fund
3) Try to add the same user again to the same fund. No error.
4) Apply patch
5) Do 1, 2, and 3 again. You should now get an error message
saying the user is already in the list.
