The subject of the cart and list emails is not correctly
encoded and displays incorrectly in some email clients.
To test:
Lists:
- Create a list, name it using umlauts or other diacritics
Example: Jugendbücher (books for youths in German)
- Add some items to your list
- Email yourself the list
- Verify that the email subject is broken
Cart:
- Install another language with non-latin characters like Greek
- Fill the cart with some titles
- Send yourself the cart
- Verify that the email subject is broken
Note: Some email clients display correctly, others not.
It's known to be incorrect in Outlook and web.de,
displaying nicely in Thunderbird.

In the staff client, when viewing the content of a list, it can be sorted by 'title', 'author' or 'call number' but not by 'date added'.
This patch adds 'date added' as an option for default sorting of lists. It also makes it available as a sorting option while viewing lists.
Test plan:
In the staff client and the opac:
1) View a list containing several items
=> Notice that you can't sort by 'date added'
2) Try to edit the list or create a new one
=> Notice you can't choose date added as the default sort order
3) Apply the patch
4) When viewing the list you should now be able to sort by date added
=> Make sure it orders correctly
5) Edit or create a list and choose date added as default sorting order
=> Make sure it uses date added as default
=> On the staff client: test that the filter for 'sort by' works for date added
=> On the opac: test that, while viewing the contents, choosing 'default sorting' in the dropdown menu sorts correctly

Most of the time C4::Biblio::GetBiblioData is used to retrieve the title
and/or the author of a bibliographic record.
This patch replaces the easy occurrences of GetBiblioData, the ones
where the 2 joins are needed, but only data from biblio and biblioitems
table are.
Test plan:
It will be hard to test everything, I'd suggest a QAer to review this
patch and confirm that the difference occurrences of GetBiblioData have

The subroutine C4::Biblio::GetBiblioFromItemNumber was wrong for several
reasons:
- badly named, we can get biblio info from a barcode
- SELECT * from items, biblio and biblioitems
makes things hard to follow and debug, we never know where do come from
the value we display
- sometimes called only for trivial information such as biblionumber,
author or title
This patchset suggests to replace it with calls to:
- Koha::Items->find for item's info
- $item->biblio for biblio's info
- $item->biblio->biblioitem for biblioitem's info
Test plan:
Item's info should correctly be displayed on the following pages:
- circulation history
- transfer book
- checkin
- waiting holds
QA will check the other changes reading the code, it's trivial

Resolve warning from members/summary-print.pl:

Test if find returns a Koha object in GetDescription.
Test if find returns a Koha object too in shelves.pl. While testing, I had
a crash on a biblioitem with itemtype NULL (bad record, but these things
tend to happen somehow.)
Can't call method "imageurl" on an undefined value at virtualshelves/shelves.pl line 253.
Same for opac/opac-shelves.pl.
Note: Did not add tests everywhere but generally, I have the impression that
we do not sufficiently test on the results of Koha::Object->find. Mostly we
just assume that it will find a record. Several reports include fixes to
resolve that wrong assumption.
Signed-off-by: Marcel de Rooy <m.de.rooy@rijksmuseum.nl>
The C4::Koha::getitemtypeinfo subroutine did the almost same job as
GetItemTypes. On top of that it returned the imageurl value processed by
C4::Koha::getitemtypeimagelocation.
This value is only used from the 2 [opac-]shelves.pl scripts. Then it's
better not retrieve it only when we need it.
Test plan:
Play with the different scripts touched by this patch and focus on item
types. The same description as prior to this patch must be displayed.
Note that sometimes it is not the translated description which is
displayed, but that should be fixed on another bug report. Indeed we do
not expect this patch to change any behaviors.

The two new columns as mentioned in the commit message of the table
revision must be used in the codebase now.
Highlighting some changes in Koha::VirtualShel[f|ves]:
[1] Additional methods is_public and is_private.
[2] Method add_biblio did not check permissions. Does now. No impact on the
interface, but one call in the unit test was affected.
[3] Method remove_biblios is signficantly simplified. Removed a FIXME.
[4] Method can_biblios_be_removed now redirects to can_biblios_be_added.
A followup report may deal with unifying those routines.
[5] Condition in get_some_shelves changed.
[6] The reference to allow_add in get_shelves_containing_record can simply
be removed.
opac-shelves.pl and shelves.pl now pass the default setting of Owner only
to the template.
Templates shelves.tt and opac-shelves.tt now include the new permission
field with three choices as mentioned in the table revision patch.
opac-addbybiblionumber.pl and addbybiblionumber now need a check on
allow_change_from_owner; search conditions slightly adjusted to the new
permission scheme.
Test plan:
When we refer to visibility in the test plan, please check the Add to-combo
on opac search results and staff results. And check opac-addbybiblionumber
by clicking Save to Lists from opac results.
The step 'Check delete' means: open the list in opac and check if you see
the Delete button below the entries (only check, do not delete).
[ 1] Create private list I01 (perm=Owner)
[ 2] Check visibility: Seen.
[ 3] Add a book. (Change by owner should be allowed.)
[ 4] Check delete: Yes.
[ 5] Edit list I01, set perm=Nobody
[ 6] Check visibility: Not seen.

[14] Let owner delete the same book again (change allowed).
[15] Create public list U01 (perm=Owner)
[16] Check visibility: Seen.
[17] Add a book. (Change by owner should be allowed.)
[18] Login as other user. Check visibility: Not seen. Check delete: No.

This patch makes the new sysprefs work as the previously defined. Instead of falling back
to what *ResultsDisplay is set, it now has its own 'default' (that still defaults to the
*Results*.xslt).

picks whatever is set in OPACXSLTResultsDisplay and XSLTResultsDisplay so current behaviour

New XSLTs for Lists work as advertised
Signed-off-by: Kyle M Hall <kyle@bywatersolutions.com>
Jonathan noticed the current behaviour is that the lists rendering
falls back to the XSLTResults, and if not defined (i.e. != 'default' and
!= some_path) it falls back to a legacy display (non-XSLT).
The patchset changed this behaviour because 'default' is not a valid value
for the lists. So it should fallback to the current behaivour (i.e. Results
XSLT configuration) if not defined. This patch fixes this by adding
|| C4::Context->preference('XSLTResultsDisplay')
(and the OPAC counterpart).
It also fixes minor glitches on the update message (oops) and bad default value
in sysprefs.sql for 'XSLTListsDisplay'.

This patch makes the shelves.pl (staff) and opac-shelves.pl scripts
use the new sysprefs for specifying custom XSLTs for lists display.
XSLT.pm is patched so it defaults to the corresponding *Results.xsl
files if none is specified.
To test:
- Create a list
- Open the list in the staff interface
- On a new tab, open the list in the OPAC.
- Apply this patches
=== default behaviour
- Open the list (both opac and staff) on new tabs
=> SUCCESS: They look exactly the same (hint: the syspref is set to ''
so it should fallback to using the one we were using.
=== using the new functionality
- Create custom XSLTs for lists, for example:
$ cd /home/vagrant/kohaclone/koha-tmpl/opac-tmpl/bootstrap/en/xslt
$ cp MARC21slim2OPACResults.xsl MARC21slim2OPACLists.xsl
- Edit your sysprefs, setting OPACXSLTListsDisplay to:
/home/vagrant/kohaclone/koha-tmpl/opac-tmpl/bootstrap/{langcode}/xslt/MARC21slim2OPACLists.xsl
- Reload the OPAC list view
=> SUCCESS: Looks exactly as before
- Make some minor tweak (for example in line 423 replace
<xsl:text> </xsl:text>
for
<xsl:text> BLAH </xsl:text>
- Reload the list
=> SUCCESS: BLAH shows in several places on the title.
- Repeat for the staff interface
- Sign off :-D

The sendbasket/sendshelf scripts and templates do not use email_sender
as a cgi parameter or as a template var. Probably a leftover from previous
changes.
Let's make Koha cleaner :)
Test plan:
[1] Send your cart from opac or staff.
[2] Send a shelf from opac or staff.
[3] Git grep email_sender. No results.
Followed test plan. Works as expected.

First, it is strongly recommended to set the OPACBaseURL. But
this patch allows the inclusion of the protocol and not just
a site.
Next, C4/Auth now puts OPACBaseURL into the template parameters
regardless of OPAC or Staff clients. t/db_dependent/Auth.t was
tweaked to add a check for confirming that get_template_and_user
adds OPACBaseURL to both OPAC and Staff templates.
In the staff client, once the OPACBaseURL is set, you get a nice
OPAC View link when viewing a biblio's detail. It should reflect
the protocol used now.
Hard coded 'http://' strings were removed from the
sample_notices.sql files. This is what required also updating
the letters table in the updatedatabase.pl script.
The explanation text in the sysprefs.sql needed updating too to
reflect the inclusion of the protocol. And this was the other
update done in the updatedatabase.pl script. The opac.pref file
was similarly changed as well.
catalogue/detail.pl had no need to pass a custom OpacUrl value,
since C4/Auth passes the required OPACBaseURL, so it and the
corresponding template were modified.
Both the MARC21 and NORMARC intranet details files had 'http://'
hard coded in them. This was removed.
Both the bootstrap and prog theme opac-detail template had a
protocol parameter that was used. The logic for the parameter
was not removed, because it is used extensively in one template.
Perhaps it should be used to simplify the other. However, the
calculated current_url parameter had references to the protocol
removed, because of the changes to OPACBaseURL.
opac/opac-shareshelf.pl had a hard coded 'http://' which was
removed.
t/db_dependent/Auth_with_cas.t had 'http://' added to the value
set for OPACBaseURL.
In virtualshelves/sendshelf.pl explicit code which sent the
OPACBaseURL preference was removed, since C4/Auth sends it all
the time now.
C4::Context::set_preference was tweaked to ensure that
OPACBaseURL would always start with http.
t/db_dependent/Context.t was tweaked to specifically test this.
The Shibboleth authentication needs OPACBaseURL set, and that
it be https protocol. The _get_uri routine was tweaked to always
pass back https:// as the protocol on the OPACBaseURL.
t/Auth_with_shibboleth.t was tweaked to specifically test the
changes.
TEST PLAN
---------
This is not an easy patch to test. Difficulties include:
- configuring Koha to run under https
(tweaking apache2 isn't so hard, just tricky)
- configuring Koha to run OPAC and Staff with Plak
(since code with comments about plak were sliced out)
- configuring Koha to use CAS
(may be requires for the CAS test)
1) Apply patch
2) Make sure OPACBaseURL is set without the protocol included.
UPDATEDATABASE
3) back up your DB
4) ./installer/data/mysql/updatedatabase.pl
-- It should run without errors.
5) Look up the OPACBaseURL system preference in the staff
client
-- It should have http:// prepended.
6) Run the mysqlclient from your koha git directory
USE koha_library;
SELECT content FROM letter WHERE content LIKE "%<<OPACBaseURL>>%";
-- There should be no prepended http:// on the
<<OPACBaseURL>>.
7) restore your DB
8) Make sure OPACBaseURL is set with the protocol included,
preferably https.
-- Using https requires a bunch of apache2 tweaks.
AUTH
9) Call up staff client.
10) Call up OPAC.
-- C4/Auth.pm doesn't barf.
11) Call up Plack staff client
12) Call up Plack OPAC.
-- C4/Auth.pm doesn't barf.
13) prove -v t/db_dependent/Auth.t
CONTEXT
14) Home -> Koha administration -> Global System Preferences
-> OPAC
15) Modify and save OPACBaseURL to not have http:// or https://
on it.
-- It should be modified to include http://
16) Modify and save another system preference.
-- It should save normally
17) prove -v t/db_dependent/Context.t
CATALOGUE/DETAIL (tt & pl)
18) Confirm the OPACBaseURL is set
19) Navigate to any biblio details in the staff client
-- There should be a "OPAC view" link which has the
correct http:// or https:// in it.

The print list button only prints the page you are viewing, and not the
entire list.
Test Plan:
1) Apply this patch
2) Create a list with enough items that it will paginate
3) Browse to that list, click the 'print list' button
4) Note the entire list prints, not just the visible items
Tested in staff client, works as expected.
It would be great to have the same for OPAC as well (OPAC still prints first page only).

This lays the foundation for further changes for report 7310.
Implements following points from the wiki page List permissions:
1) Preference that controls if users may create public lists in opac.
2) New add/delete own/delete other permissions per list.
Code has been changed (in some cases refactored). New permissions are not yet visible; with this patch current functionality is kept as much as possible while resolving several issues, improving permissions and extending the code for further developments (using the new permissions and sharing lists).

- The following export pages used to embed items when exporting,

Opac :

- Notes :
- GetMarcBiblio used to embed items data, this was no longer the case,
so an optional parameter was added to choose if items should be embedded or not.
This way, previous work on this bug is not broken, and this is a pretty usefull
feature, imho.

C4::VirtualShelves::GetRecentShelves contained some rather confused
code The contents of the requested list are returned in an arrayref
which was in its turn being wrapped needlessly in an array
As a result the returned array always consisted of a single element
irrespective of the number of lists.
Made the routine return the arrayref, which can now be tested directly
Unfortunately rather than fixing this we had previously coded around it
assuming it to be a "design" decision. Have amended other calls of
the subroutine resulting in some hopefully less obscure code

within a test for the presence of lists

Adds the ability to customize CSV exports through the use of a YAML file.
The following customizations are available :
- Preprocessing
- Postprocessing
- Field-by-field processing
The YAML field should be stored in the tools/csv-profiles/ directory and
named after the id of the CSV profile you want to customize.
An example file is provided in that directory.

Adding code to refresh "Lists" button lists display in OPAC masthead.inc
Adding javascript to force refresh of parent window to update "Lists" button menu
Adding query limits and ability to specify row count and offset in queries related to Virtualshelves.
Also added the ability to return total record counts for specified virtualshelves.
Adding C4::VirtualShelves::GetRecentShelves which returns a list of the most recently modified shelves for
a given set of parameters. This allows the user to be offered active private and open lists to add books
to in drop down menus while also allowing drop down menus to be limited to a reasonable length.
This also limits the shelves stored in the user's session to a fixed number. A further enhancement might
be to add a syspref to enable a staff member to define the limit. Currently it is hardcoded at 10 per
list type (private/public-open).
Adding pagination to list/shelf related screens
Moving refresh shelves code into C4::VirtualShelves::RefreshShelvesSummary and tidying up a bit
