Input.t was replaced because it tested a now obsolete function.
Input.pm has that function commented out.
Several files were renamed to match their counterparts or
correct misspellingz.

- pay.pl fixed, the librarian can see patron fines & mark them paid
- fines2.pl fixed, the script now calculate the fines correctly from the finerules :
* itemtype / patron category if it exist
* itemtype / default if needed
- renamed misc/fines.pl as fines-sanop.pl
- added 2 systempreferences:
* MaxFine: the max amount a patron can be charged for an item
* NoReturnSetLost: how many days of late before a non returned item is marked lost & the patron charged for the full cost of replacement
(those values where hardcoded in fines2.pl
- C4/Circulation/Fines.pm has been removed (unused duplicate of C4/Overdues)
Note that SANOP feature about notify levels have NOT been ported here. I think they are too specific now, and the code is poorly written
I've renammed fines.pl to fines-sanop.pl to point that it is specific.
Thus, all notify_id related features are not used by anything (and always 0)
Can be interesting to reintroduce them, but that will probably be a large work...

With the YUI tabs, the SINGLETAB feature (that hides tabs when there is only 1) was bugguy
This commit fixes the problem, and solve some other ones :
- order the fields
- resize the input size (see previous commit in addbiblio.pl)
- remove some unused code
- reindent

- the availability status was not available on result list. This patch reintroduces that
- notforloan as itemtype was not properly managed : an itemtype that was notforloan resulted in nothing in detail. Not, the user can't place a reserve anymore, and the status is correctly displayed
the fix is for OPAC as well as staff

The \b consider only ASCCI as letter. So diacritics are considered as non word.
and a word like leçon is splitted in 2, "le" is empty word, and the search is done
on çon (which is not french [1], so has no result)
[1] con (without the cedilla) is a french word, but I won't tell you what it means...
anyway, there are probably no "con" in most catalogues ;-)

Minor adjustments to Dates.pm and associated test. You should be able to run a
perl test that uses Context w/o getting fatalsToBrowser output.

lot of bugs to fix...

Rule :
- always format_date() before sending date to template
- always format_date_in_iso immediatly after reading a date coming from a parameter
- deal internally only with dates in iso
Note that :
- I could not test things related to issues stats due to the my DB -issues.issuedate not filled, see commit about 3.00.00.006
- acquisitions_stats does not work when you filter on date

The top issue was based on a timestamp field, that was updated everytime a biblio is modified
This commit add a datecreated field, that is filled only when a biblio is ADDED
it is used by opac-topissues & can be useful at other places i'm sure

Zebra (and NoZebra) doesn't deal with stopwords.
It search the exact string the user types.
This commit :
- reintroduces stopword management script that was in 2.2
- add stopword management to Zebra & NoZebra searches.
PS : fortunatly, the stopwords table was not removed by updatedatabase, so nothing to do here.
(& the table is in kohastructure.sql)

When updating a biblio, all repeated fields had the same input name.
Thus, when retrieving them through cgi->param resulted in a single line
Thus all subfields where merged in a single MARC field.
Adding a random() part to the name solves the problem
+ removing some warn lines

In Koha 2.2 the biblionumber was an hidden field in the form,
exactly as any other subfield.
As we also stored biblionumber as specific field, it was useless to have it
twice.

The kohaversion is in the code directory (in /kohaversion.pl)
C4::Context now has a new method C4::Context->KOHAVERSION
that returns the koha code version.
The systempreference Version contains the database version.
If the 2 are differents, when the user log in, he is redirected to web installer (new behaviour : before this commit, the check was done on everypage, it's too CPU costly I think)
In the web installer, we check now if we do a new setup or an upgrade and show only the appropriate link.
The updatedatabase contains a lot of new things :
* SetVersion($kohaversion), that set the kohaversion after each update
* TransformToNum($kohaversion) that returns a number (3.0000001 from 3.00.00.001 for example) for a given koha version
* DropAllForeignKeys($table) that does what is written : drop all foreign keys. A shame it's not possible directly in mySQL...
* for each database update, just :
add the following lines :
=item
Describe what it does for other developpers
=cut
$DBversion = "your.koha.version.dbnumber";
if (C4::Context->preference("Version") < TransformToNum($DBversion)) {
#
# DO YOUR UPDATE STUFF
#
print "Upgrade to $DBversion done (specify what it does if you want)\n";
SetVersion ($DBversion);
}
IMPORTANT NOTES :
in koha 2.2, a new install was done through installing a 2.2.0 database, then updating it to the installed version.
in Koha 3.0, /installer/kohaversion.sql MUST contain an uptodate version, as the installer set the DB version to kohaversion after uploading kohaversion.sql. It does NOT run updatedatabase.
The update from Koha 2.2 to Koha 3.0 must NOT be done through the webinstaller : updatedatabase is very very long to run and you'll reach Apache timeout for sure. See http://wiki.koha.org/doku.php?id=22_to_30 that contains my notes for upgrading (with some/few UNIMARC specific stuff)
Note For RM, please eyeball this change

Problem in number calculation.
BEWARE... For old serial number calculation, the numbering_pattern should be set to None of the above, that is 7 and not 1 or 2...
thus, the title sorting was not working. This commit fixes the problem.
LIBLIME : verify I am right in the analysis and in the fix, it is a part mostly written by joshua
irregular serials are now managed in HasSubscriptionExpired
and abouttoexpire.
Be WARN that Date::Calc is very picky about Date format.
So that null dates are throwing 500 Error.
But Now this should be seldom.
- updating templates to have tmpl_process3.pl running without any errors
- adding a drupal-like css for prog templates (with 3 small images)
- fixing some bugs in circulation & other scripts
- updating french translation
- fixing some typos in templates
- support for authorities
- some bugfixes in ordering and "CCL" parsing
- support for authorities <=> biblios walking
Seems I can do what I want now, so I consider its done, except for bugfixes that will be needed i m sure !
- NoZebra features : seems they work fine now (adding, modifying, deleting)
- Biblio edition major bugfix : before this commit editing a biblio resulted in an item removal in marcxml field
* adding 3 subs in Biblio.pm
- GetNoZebraIndexes, that get the index structure in a new systempreference (added with this commit)
- _DelBiblioNoZebra, that retrieve all index entries for a biblio and remove in a variable the biblio reference
- _AddBiblioNoZebra, that add index entries for a biblio.
Note that the 2 _Add and _Del subs work only in a hash variable, to speed up things in case of a modif (ie : delete+add). The effective SQL update is done in the ModZebra sub (that existed before, and dealed with zebra index).
I think the code has to be more deeply tested, but it works at least partially.
- changing nozebra table to have biblionumber,title-ranking; (; is the entry separator. Now, if a value is several times in an index, it is stored only once, with a higher ranking (the ranking is the number of times the word appeard for this index)
- improving search to have ranking value (default order). The ranking is the sum of ranking of all terms. The list is ordered by ranking+title, from most to lower
- add nozebra table management on biblio editing
- the index table content is hardcoded. I still have to add some specific systempref to let the library update it
- manage pagination (next/previous)
- manage facets
WHAT works :
- NZgetRecords : has exactly the same API & returns as zebra getQuery, except that some parameters are unused
- search & sort works quite good
- CQL parser is better that what I thought I could do : title="harry and sally" and publicationyear>2000 not itemtype=LIVR should work fine
Abiding by Name Convention.
Using Members wherever it should be used.
Borrower is only used for borrower Categories.
+ GetBorrowersWhoHaveNeverBorrowed
and lists like that.
So this implies quite a change for files.
Sorry about conflicts which will be caused.
directory Interface::CGI should now be dropped.
I noticed that many scripts (reports ones, but also some circ/stats.pl or opac-topissues) still use Date::Manip.
- checkaccount and getborraccountno => GetBorrowerAcctRecord
Many changes in names,
some changes in function signature.
Will be detailed in a mail to kohadevel.
skips third party software check and mysql check to go to updatedatabase.
Adding similar check to intranet and opac.
BEWARE !!!!!
You may be linked to install if you donot have Version variable set in your systempreferences table.
If so, simply updatedatabase OR add Version 3.0 record to your systempreferences table.
