Adding an item to course reserves and trying to edit any values in a second step does not work. Values are not saved and the table shows all values as "Unchanged".
This patch set adds two new sets of columns to the course_items table.
The first set determines if the specified column should be swapped or
not. The was previously 'implied' by the column being set to undef which
has been the root problem with that way of knowing if a column should
swap or not.
The second set of new columns are for storing the item field values
while the item is on course reserve. Previously, the column values
were swapped between the items table and the course_items table,
which leaves ambiguity as to what each value is. Now, the original
columns *always* store the value when the item is on course reserve,
and the new storage columns store the original item value while the
item is on reserve, and are NULL when an item is *not* on reserve.
Test Plan:
1) Apply this patch
2) Add and edit course items, not the new checkboxes for enabling fields
3) Everything should function as before

'code' from labels.
This changes text in a lot of playes in Koha, including:
- The relatives checkouts table when displayed for the guarantor
- The new order and order receive forms in acquisitoins (item creation)
- The description of CCODE in the authorised values table
- The column description on results in item search
- The branch tranfers page
- Course reserves: add reserve items (one and in batch)

Adapted from Bug 23784: At the moment only the title will display in the
course reserves details, but not the information from other title
fields. For series with multiple volumes that can lead to confusing
display. The patch makes use of the new include to display 245$abnp.
To test:
- Add mulitple records to a course reserve course
Make sure you have titles with different combinations of 245$b$n$p
- Look at the course details in the staff client
- Verify only $a displays
- Apply patch
- Reload
- Verify now the full information displays
Depending on your installation, you might want ot check that the 245
are correctly mapped and save the record once so the database
fields are correctly filled.

This patch upgrades DataTables and makes some style changes to the
default DataTables toolbar style. DataTables assets are now combined and
minified using their download customizer, bundling together these
elements:
- JSZip 2.5.0
- pdfmake 0.1.36
- DataTables 1.10.18
- Buttons 1.5.6
- Column visibility 1.5.6
- HTML5 export 1.5.6
- Print view 1.5.6
- FixedHeader 3.1.4
DataTables assets have been moved from lib/jquery/plugins to
lib/datatables. The global header and footer include files are updated
correspondingly.
This patch removes the custom "four_button" pagination configuration and
updates pages which used it to use the built-in "full" type instead.
This is done for the sake of consistency and upgradability. This change
touches a lot of files.
Table-specific CSS has been moved from staff-global.scss to a new
include, _tables.scss. A second common include, _mixins.scss has some
variable definitions used in both files.
Many images have been made obsolete by this change and have been
removed.
To test, apply the patch and regenerate the staff client CSS. View
various pages in the staff client with tables:
- Not formatted by DataTables:
- Reports -> Most circulated items
- Catalog -> Search results
- Formatted by DataTables without column configuration
- Acquisitions -> Vendor search
- Lists
- Formatted by DataTables with column configuration
- Administration -> Libraries
- Administration -> Item types
- Reports -> Saved SQL reports
- Non-standard DataTables configurations:
- Circulation -> Checkouts
- Administration -> System preferences
- Reports -> Lost items

Throughout staff client and course reserves we also show the field with HTML filter, maybe we shouldn't?
The items lost report also included the note as a title element on title and barcode links, I removed this
as the note displays in that table
To test:
1 - Add a link to publicnotes for an item
<a href="www.google.com">Cats!</a>
2 - View opac details, confirm the note is a link
3 - Same for staff side
4 - Add item to a course reserve
UseCourseReserves preference must be set to 'Use'
From the course reserves module you will need to add a course (and possibly a department first)
Adding should be intuitive
5 - Confirm note is a link in course details on staff and opac
6 - Perform a batch checkout, confirm the itemnote shows as a link
You will need to enable the system preference: BatchCheckouts and add a patron category to: BatchCheckoutsValidCategories
Then a link should be available from checkout for a patron in that category
7 - Mark the item as lost
8 - Go to Reports->Items lost
9 - Confirm the note is a URL and that title and barcode links don't show the note
10 - Click the barcode to go to moredetails for the item - in this case note should display as editable text, not a link

When editing an item in a Course Reserve, the page displayed is the same
that is displayed when adding an item to a Course Reserve. This patch
removes the warning 'This course already has this item on reserve' when
the item is being edited, as well as changes the title, breadcrumbs, and
header of the div. This patch also Changes the header of the div to say
'Edit 'book_name' in 'course_name'' instead of 'Add 'book_name' to
'course_name'' when adding items to a course reserve if the item is
already present.
To test:
1) Create a new course in Course Reserves (you will need Course
Reserves enabled in syspref)
2) Add an item by clicking the Add reserves button
3) Click the edit button on the right hand side of the item listing
under the Reserves heading
4) Observe that the warning 'The course already has this item on reserve' appears, and that the title, breadcrumbs and
header of the div all say Add/Reserve
5) Apply the patch
6) Repeat step 3 and observe that the title, breadcrumbs and header of
the div now say Edit
7) Also verify that when adding a reserve with a barcode that does not
yet exist in the course reserves that the warning 'The course already...' is not displayed and that the header of the div says Add

Here we go, next step then.
As we did not fix the performance issue when autofiltering
the variables (see bug 20975), the only solution we have is to add the
filters explicitely.
This patch has been autogenerated (using add_html_filters.pl, see next
pathces) and add the html filter to all the variables displayed in the
template.
Exceptions are made (using the new 'raw' TT filter) to the variable we
already listed in the previous versions of this patch.
To test:
- Use t/db_dependent/Koha/Patrons.t to populate your DB with autogenerated
data which contain <script> tags
- Remove them from borrower_debarments.comments (there are allowed here)
update borrower_debarments set comment="html tags possible here";
- From the interface hit page and try to catch alert box.
If you find one it means you find a possible XSS.
To know where it comes from:
* note the exact URL where you found it
* note the alert box content
* Dump your DB and search for the string in the dump to identify its
location (for instance table.field)
Next:
* Ideally we would like to use the raw filter when it is not necessary
to HTML escape the variables (in big loop for instance)
* Provide a QA script to catch missing filters (we want html, uri, url
or raw, certainly others that I am forgetting now)
* Replace the html filters with uri when needed (!)

Having to write [% KOHA_VERSION %] for each url is bad because:
- It's easily forgettable when adding new <script> or <link>
- It prevents grep'ing for the full filename
- It violates the DRY principle
- If at some point we want to change the "force js and css reload"
mechanism, it will be tedious
This patch:
- adds a Template::Toolkit plugin that generates <script> and
<link> tags for JS and CSS files, and inserts automatically the Koha
version in the filename
- use the new plugin to remove all occurences of [% KOHA_VERSION %]
- remove the code that was adding KOHA_VERSION as a template variable
Test plan:

2. Go to several different pages in Koha (opac and intranet) while
checking your browser's dev tools (there should be no 404 for JS and
CSS files, and the Koha version should appear in filenames) and the

The staff client CSS is not language-specific, so it can be moved out of
the en/ directory and thus not be duplicated for every translation.
In order to be able to have a generic path to the YUI CSS files, the YUI
directory is moved by this patch to the staff client's lib/ directory.

If items are assigned to multiple courses, the "edit" links for a course
item may pass the wrong course id. This is really a cosmetic issue.
It appears that in Template Toolkit, if you reuse an existing variable
name in a foreach loop, it will not create a new temporary variable but
will instead re-use the existing variable leaving assigned at the end to
the last assignment, just as it would in Perl code.
This is not a problem when all items are assigned to one and only one
course, but can cause issues when we loop through the other courses an
item may be on.
This is solved easily by renaming the variable used in the foreach loop
to another unused name.

This patch upgrades the version of jQueryUI included in the Koha staff
client from v1.8.23 to v.1.10.4. The upgrade introduces a few minor API
changes which require the updates in this patch:
- In CSS, the term "active" is used instead of "selected"
- Autocomplete functions use slightly changed parameters
Changes to the default jQueryUI CSS allows us to remove some instances
of "!important" from jQueryUI-related CSS in the staff client's main CSS
file.
To test:
Testing changes to autocomplete:
- Enable the CircAutocompl system preference. Try searching in the
header's "Check out" tab. Autocomplete should look correct and
function correctly.
- In Circulation -> Overdues: The patron attribute authorized value
filter (must have patron attributes enabled, and a patron attribute
defined which uses authorized values.
- Course reserves -> Course -> Edit: Searching for an instructor
- In the unimarc_field_210c_bis.pl plugin:
1. Link the publisher name field in your MARC structure to
the unimarc_field_210c_bis.pl plugin.
2. Open a MARC record for editing and click the "tag editor" link to
launch the plugin.
3. Type the first few letters of a publisher which exists in your
database. You should get an autocomplete menu of publishers
which match your search.
4. Select one and click the "choose" button to fill the field in the
MARC editor.
- Tools -> Patron lists: Add a list or choose an existing list and add
patrons. Perform a search for a patron.
- Placing a hold: After choose a title and clicking "Place hold,"
search for a patron.
- Tags management: The sidebar filter for "reviewer" should let you
search by patron name.
Other jQueryUI widget changes:
- Check tabs appearance in header search, biblio detail, cataloging, and
circulation patron fines pages.
To confirm other jQueryUI widgets still function correctly:
- Check accordion (collapsing sections) in Patrons -> Patrons requesting
modifications and the MARC subfield structure edit screen.
- Check datepickers, especially in Circulation with the added timepicker.
Test a linked datepicker, for example in Reports -> Stats wizards ->
Circulation where the value in one date field affects what dates are
available in the matching field.
- Check the calendar interface in Tools -> Calendar
To confirm that the new jQueryUI default CSS is more flexible (fixing
Bug 11042), add the following CSS to your IntranetUserCSS system
preference and confirm that the header search active tab border color
changes (hash mark escaped so that it will appear in commit msg):
\#header_search ul.ui-tabs-nav li.ui-tabs-active {
background-color: #FFFFF1;
border: 1px solid #800000;

In some cases clicking the "remove" link to remove a course instructor
when editing a course reserves course doesn't work. I suspect this is
caused by leading zeroes in the card number. This patch refactors the
relevant function to fix the problem and to remove inline JavaScript
from generated markup.
Other changes:
- Make the "Remove" text translatable
- Re-order the first name and last name when added by JavaScript to
match the template's "surname, firstname" order.
To test:
1. If necessary, create or modify a patron to have a card number
with leading zeroes.
2. Go to Course reserves and add or edit a course.
3. If you are editing a course and there are existing instructors, click
the "remove" link. Nothing will happen.
4. Perform a patron search and choose one of the results. The name
should be added to the list of instructors in the format "surname,
firstname."
5. Click the "remove" link next to the patron name which was just added.
Nothing will happen.
6. Apply the patch and repeat step 4. The "remove" link should work.
7. Add an instructor and save the course reserve. Repeat steps 2 and 3.

update [language code]" and confirm that the "Remove" string is listed

Adds a course reserves system for academic libraries.
The course reserves system allows libraries to create courses
and put items on reserves for those courses.
Each item with at least one reserve can have some of its attributes
modified while it is on reserve for at least one active course.
These attributes include item type, collection code, shelving location,
and holding library. If there are no active courses with this item
on reserve, it's attributes will revert to the original attributes
it had before going on reserve.
Test Plan:
1) Create new authorised value categories DEPARTMENT and TERM
2) Create a new course, add instructors to that course.
3) Reserve items for that course, verify item attributes have changed.
4) Disable course, verify item attributes have reverted.
5) Enable course again, verify item attributes again.
6) Delete course, verify item attributes again.
7) Create two new courses, add the same item(s) to both courses.
8) Disable one course, verify item attributes have not reverted.
9) Disable both courses, verify item attributes have reverted.
10) Enable one course, verify item attributes are again set to the
new values.
11) Edit reserve item attributes, verify.
12) Disable all courses, edit reserve item attributes, verify
the item itself still has its original attributes, verify
the reserve item attributes have been updated.
13) Verify the ability to remove instructors from a course.
