5e1bcc4aa7 Bug 16242 - Move staff client JavaScript out of language directory
This patch moves the JavaScript files in prog/en/js to prog/js.
JavaScript files do not need to be in the directory which is processed
by the translator.

To test, apply the patch and visit various pages in the staff client to
confirm that JavaScript files are still loading correctly.

Revised: I intended for this to be built on top of Bug 15883 as well as
Bug 16242. Now it is.

6381d1853d Bug 16241 - Move staff client CSS out of language directory
The staff client CSS is not language-specific, so it can be moved out of
the en/ directory and thus not be duplicated for every translation.

In order to be able to have a generic path to the YUI CSS files, the YUI
directory is moved by this patch to the staff client's lib/ directory.

To test, apply the patch and visit various pages in the staff client.
Look in particular at pages which include more than the standard CSS.
For example:

- The staff client login page.
- The staff client home page.
- Patron -> Set permissions.
- The advanced cataloging editor.
- Acquisitions -> Vendor -> Basket groups.
- Tools -> News -> Edit news.
- Administration -> System preferences.

Revised: I intended for this to be built on top of Bug 15883. Now it is.

6424a3c277 Bug 10347 - Deactivate "Add item" button when "Add multiple copies" was activated
When the "Add multiple items" button is pressed the other submit buttons
should be hidden in order to eliminate confusion about which button
submits the form at that stage in the process.

This patch alters the form so that clicking the "add multiple" button
hides the other two buttons and displays form for submitting the number
of copies to add.

This patch also makes changes to accompanying text in order to make
things (hopefully) clearer. The button text has been changed (again, see
Bug 10346) to "Add multiple copies of this item."

Explanatory text has been added "The barcode you enter will be
incremented for each additional item," because that seemed non-obvious
about the process.

Unrelated change: a section of obsolete JavaScript has been removed.

To test, go to the add/edit items page for a new or existing record.
Test adding a single item, adding & duplicating, and adding multiple.
The add multiple form should be shown upon clicking 'add multiple,' and
hidden when 'cancel' is clicked.

255c0af989 Bug 15927 - Remove use of <tr class="highlight"> for alternating row colors
The "highlight" class on table rows is unnecessary since we have a CSS
rule which defines colors for alternating row colors. This patch removes
use of the "highlight" class from templates and removes the definition
from staff-global.css

To test, view the affected pages and confirm that the change has not
broken anything.

Acquisitions -> Vendor -> View basket
Acquisitions -> Late orders
Acquisitions -> Ordered
Acquisitions -> Vendor -> Receive shipment
Acquisitions -> Spent
Acquisitions -> Vendor details -> Contracts table
Administration -> MARC frameworks (comment removed only)
Administration -> Class sources
Authorities -> Authority search results
Catalog -> Bibliographic detail page -> Items -> View item's checkout
   history
Catalog -> subject.tt (is this template used?)
Cataloging -> Cataloging search results
Patrons -> Patron account
Reports -> Patrons who haven't checked out
Reports -> Statistics wizards -> Patrons
Reports -> Top lists -> Most-circulated items
Reports -> Inactive -> Items with no checkouts
Reports -> Reports dictionary
Reports -> Statistics wizards -> Circulation
Reports -> Statistics wizards -> Holds
Holds -> Place a hold -> Existing holds table
Serials -> New subscription -> Search for a vendor -> Search results
Serials -> Check expiration
Serials -> Subscription -> Serial collection
Serials -> Subscription -> Serial collection -> Edit serials
Suggestions
Tags -> View tags -> View titles with a tag
Tools -> Manage staged MARC records -> Batch (I think the affected
section of this template is obsolete)
Tools -> Log viewer -> Log result
Lists -> View lists (May be broken by Bug 15916)

Note that if you search the templates for instances of a <tr> with a
"highlight" class you'll find two instances in slip templates which
refer to a class defined in printreceiptinvoice.css.

547ef37e04 Bug 14510: Allow column visibility in additem.pl to be customized
This patch adds the table of items on additem.pl to the columns
customizer.

Test plan:
  1. Open item editor on a record, and verify that all columns are visible.
  2. Apply patch.
  3. Reload editor, and verify that column visibility hasn't changed.
  4. Open "Hide/show columns," and verify that you can add and remove
     columns.
  5. Change the visibility and togglability of some columns in
     columns_settings.pl, and verify that these correctly apply to
     additem.pl.

NOTE: The columns that are configurable are selected from the non-hidden
columns that have mappings to MARC subfields in the default MARC21
framework (and can thus be displayed in the item editor).

f7214859df Bug 13943: Prevent the deletion of items if the user cancels
On the edit items page, there is some weird JS code: if the user clicks
on the delete link and then cancel, the item is deleted anyway.

It's caused by the following JS code in browser.js
  $('a[href*="biblionumber="]').click(function (ev) {
      ev.preventDefault();
      window.location = $(this).attr('href') + '&searchid=' + me.searchid;
  });

Test plan:
- Do a search with multiple results
- Go to the detail page (make sure results browser shows up!)
- Use the "Edit items" link from the toolbar
- Delete an item (try both way)
- Choose "cancel"
- Delete an item (try both way) and confirm the deletion
You should see the browser after the deletion and the item should have
been deleted correctly.
- Edit an item (try both way)
You should see the browser (did not work before this patch)

Note: Before this patch, the 2 first columns didn't contain the
edit/delete item links, now it's only the 1st one.

f327ebe540 Bug 14267: How active is active?
git grep on function active in additem.tt:
koha-tmpl/intranet-tmpl/prog/en/modules/cataloguing/additem.tt:function active(n
koha-tmpl/intranet-tmpl/prog/en/modules/serials/serial-issues-full.tt:active([%
koha-tmpl/intranet-tmpl/prog/en/modules/serials/serial-issues-full.tt:function a
koha-tmpl/intranet-tmpl/prog/en/modules/serials/serial-issues-full.tt:
t/Cache.t:      unless ( $cache->is_cache_active() && defined $cache );
t/Cache.t:          unless ( $cache->is_cache_active() );
Conclusion: active in additem seems to be quite inactive.

Test plan:
Add, edit or delete items and verify that you did not miss active :)

NOTE: The active function has a loop which is always run.
      Inside that loop 'ong' would always be defined as some number
       concatenated with XX.
      Both sides of the if/else reference document.getElementById(ong),
       but there is only one occurence of XX in the file: the concatenation!
      Similarly, the 'link' logic does not correspond to any of the
       id= or name= strings in the file.
      koha-tmpl/intranet-tmpl/prog/en/modules/admin/marc_subfields_structure.tt
       is the only file with "id=\"link" that matches the logic.
      This is likely a cut-and-paste remnant made useless by datatable upgrades
       and HTML/CSS class changes.

50d2b71288 Bug 12176: [QA Follow-up] Small additem adjustments
Adjusting a few small things and making qa tools happy:

[1] Remove .hidden after [% avalue %] in additem.tt. (Typo)
[2] A closer look revealed that mv.avalue is useless too. An input element
    does not contain any content. Putting it after the hidden element
    in a non-visible context has no meaning.
[3] Change handling of select attributes readonly and disabled.
[4] Remove unused variable $attributes_no_value_textarea
[5] Removed a comment with TODO referring to this report.
[6] Moving a duplicated TT variable (mv.javascript) outside IF statement.
[7] And finally could not resist this one: Moving strings Tag editor and
    No popup from script to template. Plugins++
    NOTE: Most item plugins redirect click to focus. In that case there is
    no popup, but unfortunately the text Tag editor comes up.

9e9088049c Bug 12138 - Use placeholders in translatable Javascript strings
Currently translating Javascript strings with variables in them is hard,
because the strings are created from separate parts. For example:

 _("Are you sure you want to delete the") + " " + count + " " +
_("attached items?")

This is translated in two different parts, and the translator cannot
affect the place where the count-variable is.

Now, if the javascript strings allowed placeholders, similar to how the
template strings do, the above could be written as:

_("Are you sure you want to delete the %s attached
items?").format(count)

This would make translation much easier.

Attached patch adds a Javascript string formatter, and changes all the
concatenated translatable JS strings used in intranet to use that.

To test:
1) cd misc/translator

I tested *most* of the changed files. There were some instances where it
wasn't clear to me how to trigger the warnings which were modified,
especially tags/review.tt, admin/manage-marc-import.tt, and holidays.tt.
Everything I was able to test worked correctly.

7c82fe1a67 Bug 10841: Make edit/delete item context links in cataloguing translatable
HTML created with Javascript is not translatable the way HTML is
normally translated. _() syntax has to be used to have strings
translatable.

To test:
- Edit items for a record with multiple items
- Click somewhere in the items table
- Verify the links for editing and deleting items show up and work correctly
- Apply patch
- Verify the links still show the same behaviour

Bonus:
- Run 'perl translate update <languagecode>' in misc/translator
- Verify that Edit item and Delete item show up in the po file, translate them
- Install updated po files running 'perl translate install <languagecode>'
- Verify links show up translated and work correctly

Patch also fixes capitalization for a couple of error messages - only change
there is: Deleted > deleted.

762c3304ea Bug 10404: add previous/next browsing to staff client
Although previous/next browsing was added for searches in the OPAC
in 2011, the staff client has been without any sort of search browsing.
Until now. This patch is an all-singing, all-dancing, all-compatible
implementation of search browsing that will work across multiple
browser tabs and on any browser since IE7 (though the staff client
layout is broken on IE7).

To test:
1) Perform a search that will bring up multiple results.
2) View one of the results.
3) Use the Previous and Next links to browse along the search results.
4) Use the "Return to results" button to check that you end up at the
   correct page of results, even if you page through more than 20

651ea298ea Bug 10543: fix false warnings from checks of mandatory item fields
Under certain circumstances, when editing an item, you get a popup
warning
  "1 mandatory fields empty (highlighted)".

Even though all mandatory fields are filled in.

This occurs when there is a field with a huge content (more than 100
characters) that gets displayed in a textarea instead of input.

This patch corrects the Javascript form check by using siblings().

Also adds a more precise filter to find mandatory inputs because
looking in full page may bring unwanted results.

Test plan :
- In a framework, make sure you have in item field :
  An optional subfield (without authorised value),
  then a mandatory subfield, then an optional subfield
  next to mandatory subfield
  For example : $i (optional), $r (mandatory) and $s (optional)
- Open a biblio record and create a new item
- Enter more than 100 characters in $i, fill $r and $s
- Click "Add item"
- Edit this item
=> You get a textarea for $i
- Empty $s and Save
=> Without patch, you get a warning and form is not saved and you see that $s is yellow while it should be $r
=> With patch, form is saved
- Re-edit this item
- Empty $r and save
=> You get a warning and form is not saved

be869ab279 Bug 8215 - Course Reserves
Adds a course reserves system for academic libraries.

The course reserves system allows libraries to create courses
and put items on reserves for those courses.

Each item with at least one reserve can have some of its attributes
modified while it is on reserve for at least one active course.
These attributes include item type, collection code, shelving location,
and holding library. If there are no active courses with this item
on reserve, it's attributes will revert to the original attributes
it had before going on reserve.

Test Plan:
  1) Create new authorised value categories DEPARTMENT and TERM
  2) Create a new course, add instructors to that course.
  3) Reserve items for that course, verify item attributes have changed.
  4) Disable course, verify item attributes have reverted.
  5) Enable course again, verify item attributes again.
  6) Delete course, verify item attributes again.
  7) Create two new courses, add the same item(s) to both courses.
  8) Disable one course, verify item attributes have not reverted.
  9) Disable both courses, verify item attributes have reverted.
 10) Enable one course, verify item attributes are again set to the
     new values.
 11) Edit reserve item attributes, verify.
 12) Disable all courses, edit reserve item attributes, verify
     the item itself still has its original attributes, verify
     the reserve item attributes have been updated.
 13) Verify the ability to remove instructors from a course.
 14) Verify new permissions, top level coursereserves, with
     subpermissions add_reserves and delete_reserves.

67af102586 Bug 7253: fast cataloging not always checking out
When using fast cataloguing to create a biblio and item on the fly, workflow looses datas when a duplicate is detected.
This comes from the use of a mix of circborrowernumber and borrowernumber in forms.

This patch corrects by using always circborrowernumber in fast cataloguing workflow.
Also adds html and uri escape for barecode where necessery.

Test plan :
With duplicate :
- Go to a borrower circulation page
- Enter a non existing barcode
- Enter a due date
- Click on "Check Out"
=> a message says the barcode was not found
- Click on "Fast cataloguing"
=> The biblio edition page appears with fast cataloguing framework
- Fill mandatory fields by using an existing ISBN
- Click on "Save"
=> a yes/no message says "Duplicate record suspected"
(Choosing yes will brake fast caloguing workflow, in this case librarian should create an item and checkout again)
- Click on "No"
=> The item edition page appears with barcode already filled
- Fill mandatory datas
- Click on "Add item"
=> Borrower circulation page appears again, check that item has been checked out with the specified due date

You may test without duplicate
