This patch copies some code and markup from the staff client where call
number phrase searches are correctly handled. A check for
'ms_callnumcommaphr' is copied from search_indexes.inc. Handling of
commas and dashes is copied from search.pl.
To test, apply the patch and make sure the
OpacAddMastheadLibraryPulldown system preference is enabled.
- From the OPAC main page, select "Call number" from the search pull
down at the top of the page.
- Perform any search (it need not return results).
- Verify that the search option retains the "Call number" selection.
- Repeat the test with and without the OPACNumbersPreferPhrase system
preference enabled.

This patch makes minor corrections to the template for OPAC search
results. These corrections fix errors returned by the HTML validator.
To reproduce the problem, perform a search in the OPAC which will return
results which are on one or more lists. Run the page through the W3C
validation service: https://validator.w3.org. Either by pasting in the
URL for the search results (if web accessible) or by viewing source,
copying, and pasting into "Validate by Direct Input."
This patch addresses two specific errors:
- "Text not allowed in element ul in this context."
- "Stray end tag span."
To test, apply the patch and try again to reproduce the validation
errors. Those errors should no longer be present. There should be no
visible change to the search results view.

This patch coverts the syntax for embedding OpacUserJS in the global
include file so that it uses 'Koha.Preference' syntax. This makes the
data available in templates, like the OPAC maintenance page, to which
the preference data has not been explicitly provided.
To reproduce: Add some JavaScript to the OPACUserJS system preference
which will let you know it's working. For instance:
alert("OPACUserJS!");
Turn on the OPAC maintenance message using the OpacMaintenance system
preference. Navigate to the OPAC. You should see the system maintenance
page but you should not see an alert.
To test, apply the patch and reload the OPAC page. Your alert should
show.

This patch updates GetLatestSerials in Serials.pm to remove date
formatting. Formatting of dates should be done in the template using
$KohaDates.
To test, apply the patch and locate a bibliographic record in the staff
client which has a subscription with issues.
- On the bibliographic detail page for that record, view the
"Subscriptions" tab. Dates in the table of recent issues should be
formatted correctly.
- View the details for the subscription in the Serials module. Create
or edit a routing list for that serial. In the "Issue" dropdown the
issue dates should be formatted correctly.
- View the bibliographic detail page for the record in the OPAC. Open
the "Subscriptions" tab. In the table of recent issues publication
date and received date should be formatted correctly. The table

This patch use GetCOinS sub to provide an OpenURL link in OPAC search
results. It uses 4 new system preferences:
- OpenURLinOPACResults: enable or disable this feature
- OpenURLResolverURL: url of the openURL resolver
- OpenURLText: text of the link
- OpenURLImageLocation: image of the link
Link is displayed as an image if OpenURLImageLocation is defined, and as
text otherwise.
It works both with and without XSLT enabled.
Changes made to GetCOinSBiblio:
For 'journal':
- Title should be in rft.jtitle instead of rft.title
- rft.date, rft.aulast, rft.aufirst, rft.au, rft.pub and rft.pages have
no meaning for a subscription, so they are simply removed from URL
This patch refactors GetCOinSBiblio, so the construction of URL is done
only at the end. This way we do not have ugly
$var .= "&$value"
in the function body.
Also use URI::Escape instead of custom regexps.
This development consider the value of syspref OPACURLOpenInNewWindow
when building the link.
Test plan:
1/ Enable syspref OPACShowOpenURL and put your OpenURL resolver URL in
OpenURLResolverURL syspref (if you don't have one, just fill it with
some fake URL, you'll have to check if OpenURL links are correct)
2/ If you want, set the other sysprefs OpenURLImageLocation and
OpenURLText
3/ Fill syspref OPACOpenURLItemTypes with some (not all) of your
item types.
4/ Empty sysprefs OPACXSLTDetailsDisplay and OPACXSLTResultsDisplay
5/ Go to OPAC and launch a search.
6/ Check you have in the results (near the title) the OpenURL link (only
for itemtypes that are in OPACOpenURLItemTypes).
Toggle OPACURLOpenInNewWindow syspref and check that the behaviour of
the link is correct.
7/ Go to the detail page of one of those and check you have the OpenURL
link too. (Above tags)
Toggle OPACURLOpenInNewWindow syspref and check that the behaviour of
the link is correct.
8/ Set sysprefs OPACXSLTDetailsDisplay and OPACXSLTResultsDisplay to

This patch implements a Koha news system replacement of the OpacNavRight
system preference. The changes to koha-news.tt enable the selection of
"OpacNavRight" as a location for the content. opac-main.pl is modified
to ensure that the user's selected language is passed to the template
for use by the KohaNews plugin.
The database update process takes the contents of Koha's OpacNavRight
system preference and adds it to the Koha news system. The OpacNavRight
system preference is then removed from the database.
When the new entry is added to Koha news, the language is set based on
the top selected language in the "opaclanguages" preference. The entry
is added to "All libraries" without an author, title, or expiration
date.
Note that this patch doesn't change the way OPAC news is displayed. I
think it's best to keep existing markup and code for that since it
handles details like branch selection and RSS.
To test, apply the patch and run the database update.
- In the staff client go to Tools -> News and confirm that there is now
an entry with the location "OpacNavRight_en" (assuming an "en"
English interface).
- Confirm that the previous contents of OpacNavRight were added
correctly.
- Go to Administration -> System preferences -> OPAC and verify that
the OpacNavRight preference has been removed.
- In the OPAC, confirm that the correct content is displayed in the
region previously defined in the OpacNavRight system preference.
- Test that the language and library-specific nature of news items is
reflected in the behavior of this content area:
- Define different text based on language and location. Confirm that
switching translations and logging in to the OPAC both trigger the
correct display of different content.

This patch lays the groundwork for using the Koha news tool to replace
OPAC system preferences which embed HTML content in the Koha interface.
This will allow multiple translations of these content blocks to be
created.
This adds a new template plugin, KohaNews. It has a single subroutine,
get(), which takes three parameters:
- "location" -- the area of the template where the content will appear.
This will correspond to the system preference it replaces:
OpacMainUserBlock, OpacNavRight, etc.
- "lang" -- the user's currently-selected language.
- "library" -- the user's home library (if they are logged in)
A new "koha_news_block" block is added to the OPAC templates'
html_helpers include. The content area is activated in the template
using this syntax:
[% PROCESS koha_news_block news => KohaNews.get( location =>
"OpacNavRight", lang => news_lang, library => branchcode ) %]

In SCO, bug 21772 introduced holds information, but it lacked the
capability to attract atention when any of those holds was in waiting
status. Because SCO and opac-user uses the same include file for holds
table, this bug applies to both modules.
To test:
1) Have a patron with holds in waiting status and pending status.
2) Enable SCO module.
3) Holds tab label contains holds count, but doesn't inform that there
is something that requires attention.
5) Holds tab content has no visual aid to recognize without reading
effort which holds are in waiting status.
6) Apply this patch
=> SUCCESS: Holds tab label has a visual aid to indicate that
something requires attention, and in
holds table it's easy to recognize waiting holds without reading
effort.

This patch adds display of a user's ratings to their reading history in
the OPAC.
Also changed: Removed obsolete "border" attribute from the template, and
removed obsolete JavaScript include from opac-results.tt
To test, apply the patch and rebuild the OPAC CSS. OpacStarRatings
should be set to all (results and details).
- Log in to the OPAC as a user with a reading history and titles in
that history which have ratings.
- Under the "your reading history" tab, your ratings should show under
rated titles with the date of the rating.
- Test also with OpacStarRatings set to a value other than "all."

This patch makes the OPAC pages that rely on OpacPasswordChange use the
current patron's category to make the decision to allow password change
or not.
It does so by making sure all the places in which OpacPasswordChange was
used, use $logged_in_user->category->effective_change_password instead.
Special attention is required on the case of opac-registration-verify.pl
in which the use of an unblessed Koha::Patron object is changed in
favour of the blessed object, so we can actually use the new method to
make a decision on the text to display.

Many SMS messaging services reject numbers that do not conform to the E.164 international public telecommunication
numbering plan.
We already tell patrons on the OPAC "Please enter numbers only. (123) 456-7890 would be entered as 1234567890."
but we do not enforce this. We should be validating the patron's SMS number on both the staff side and the patron

This patch makes changes to the way hold fees are recorded and displayed
in the OPAC and staff client:

- The accounttype code should be used to display what kind of charge it
is.
To test, apply the patch and go to the staff client:
- Configure a patron category to have a hold fee.
- Place one or more holds for a patron in that category.
- On the patron's record, view Accounting -> Make a payment
- There should be a separate column for "Account type" showing "Hold
fee" for the hold charges.
- There should be no "Res" or "Reserve Charge" text in the
description column--just the title.
- Switch to the "Transactions" tab. The display should be similar.
- In the OPAC, log in as a patron who has hold fees on their account.
- View the "your fines" page to confirm that the information is
displayed correctly there as well.
- Place a hold for a patron who incurs hold charges.
- Log in to the self-checkout module as that patron and check out an
item which will fulfill that hold.

This patch updates the user summary page in the OPAC so that JavaScript
alerts are replaced with Bootstrap modals. This provides us the ability
to more carefully control the content of confirmation dialogs and their
control buttons.
A global function for defining a modal confirmation boxes has been
added, to which one can pass:
- The modal title
- Body
- Text for submit and cancel buttons
- A callback function to trigger on submit
To test, apply the patch and clear your browser cache if necessary.
- Log in to the OPAC as a user who has holds and article requests.
- Test the following interactions, both the confirmation and cancel
options for each:
- Cancel a hold
- Suspend all holds
- Resume all holds
- Cancel an article request

The numerical restricted value was overwritten in GetItemsInfo
with the description. So OpacHiddenItems would only work for
restricted using the description, not the numerical value
of the authorised value like for other similar status fields.
This changes GetItemsInfo to use a separate variable for
the description, as it's already done for notforloan and
changes the template files where the variable is used
accordingly.
To test
- Before applying patch
- Configure OpacHiddenItems with:
restricted: [1]
- Find a record with more than one item and mark one of the items
as "Restricted Access"
(assume standard sample data - check authorised value if status doesn't exist)
- Verify the item is still shown in OPAC.
- Apply patch
- Verify that the item is now hidden
- Verify that the status still displays nicely in the staff detail page
- Delete OpacHiddenItems
- Verify that the status is showing nicely in the OPAC detail page

This patch makes a minor markup addition to ensure that a title with no

This patch replaces our current jQuery star ratings plugin with a newer
plugin which will be compatible with newer versions of jQuery:
http://antenna.io/demo/jquery-bar-rating/examples/
To test you should have one or more records in your catalog with star
ratings.
- Apply the patch and set the OpacStarRatings system preference
to "results and details"
- Perform a search in the catalog which will return one or more titles
which have ratings.
- Confirm that the ratings appear correctly and the ratings are
read-only.
- Open the "normal" detail page for that record.
- Confirm that the star rating appears correctly.
- Test setting and re-setting your star rating. Confirm that it is
saved.
- Confirm that the "cancel rating" link appears when you have a rating
set, and that it disappears after you click it.
- Test that the "only details" and disabled options of the
OpacStarRatings preference work as they should.
- Confirm that information about the plugin appears on the About page in
the staff client, replacing the old star ratings plugin information.

This patch modifies the OPAC search results template so that advanced
search terms are not shown in the page title and breadcrumbs. This
removes potentially confusing computer-oriented code from the public
view.
For simple searches the search term is displayed, using the same logic
that determines whether the search bar should be populated with the last
search term.
To test:
- Apply the patch
- Peform a simple keyword search in the OPAC
- On the results page the title and breadcrumbs should show 'Results
of search for [your keyword]
- Perform an advanced search with multiple parameters
- The page title and breadrumbs should show only 'Search results'
- The breadcrumbs should also show a link back to Advanced search
using the returntosearch parameter

This patch enables the checks for transfer limits for given biblionumber in
OPAC when patron proceeds to place a hold. In case none of the items of that
biblio can be transferred to a library, that library will not be included in
the list of pickup locations.
To test:
1. Make sure you meet the following requirements:
1.1: You are able to make holds in OPAC
1.2: System preference UseBranchTransferLimits set to "Enforce"
1.3: System preference BranchTransferLimitsType set to "item type"
(for the sake of simplicity of this test plan, but you may also
set it to "collection code" and deal with ccodes instead)
1.4: System preference item-level_itypes set to "specific item"
1.5: You have the default libraries and item types, otherwise replace
the branchcodes and itemtypes in this test plan with your own
2. Make sure 'Fairfield' in cgi-bin/koha/admin/branches.pl has not disabled
its ability to act as a "Pickup location"
3. Have a biblio with exactly one item of item-level itemtype 'BK'
4. Set item holdingbranch as 'CPL'
5. Go to cgi-bin/koha/admin/branch_transfer_limits.pl (keep this page open in
a second tab for faster testing)
6. Select library 'Centerville'
7. Uncheck the checkbox 'FFL - Fairfield' and click Save
8. Go to OPAC and find your biblio, and start placing a hold on it
9. Click at the list of "Pick up location"s.
10. Observe that it is missing 'Fairfield'
11. Go back to cgi-bin/koha/admin/branch_transfer_limits.pl
12. Repeat step 6 and this time, check the checkbox 'FFL - Fairfield'
13. Refresh the page you arrived at step 8

It is not totally happy because of the template file used in tests.
It has line breaks inside TT directives and QA test script complains
because line breaks in TT directives confuse the current translatable
strings extractor.
However this patchset (along with bug 20988) will hopefully make the
current extractor obsolete and thus make the 'no-line-breaks' rule
useless

Locale::Maketext does not allow correct handling of plural translation
for languages that have more than one plural forms.
Locale::Messages does.
So Koha::I18N is now a wrapper around Locale::Messages, just like
Locale::TextDomain, and export the same symbols as Locale::TextDomain.
You can refer to documentation of Locale::TextDomain to know how to use
exported subroutines.
Example usage:
__("Hi")
__x("Hi {name}", name => 'Bob')
__n("item", "items", $num_items)
__nx("one item", "{count} items", $num_items, count => $num_items)
__p("Bibliographic record", "item")
This patch also brings Koha::I18N power to Template::Toolkit templates
by adding a TT plugin.
This plugin can be used like this:
[%# USE the plugin and define some macros %]
[% PROCESS 'i18n.inc' %]
[%# tn is the equivalent of __n %]
[%# macro names can't start with underscore, t is for "translate" %]
[% tn('item', 'items', num_items) %]
Extraction of strings from templates is a bit complicated and use
Template::Parser and PPI. Template is compiled into Perl code and then
analyzed by PPI. It is slow, but should be correct even with complex
constructions.
Remove dependency to Locale::Maketext and Locale::Maketext::Lexicon
Add dependency to Locale::Messages and PPI
Test plan for translation in Perl code:
1. Open a .pl script or .pm module with your favorite text editor
2. Add 'use Koha::I18N;' in the beginning of file
3. Use one of the subroutines exported by Koha::I18N and be sure to have
a way to visualize the result (pass result to the template for
example, or simply warn and watch the log file)
4. cd misc/translator && ./translate update fr-FR # try other languages
5. Open misc/translator/po/fr-FR-messages.po and translate your
string(s)
You may need to change the "Plural-Forms" header. See
https://localization-guide.readthedocs.org/en/latest/l10n/pluralforms.html
6. ./translate install fr-FR
7. Use your web browser to go to the page that should display the
translation, change language and verify the translation is correct
8. prove t/Koha/I18N.t
Test plan for translation in templates:
1. Open a template file (.tt or .inc) with your favorite text editor
2. Add the PROCESS directive mentioned above in the beginning of file
3. Use one of the t* macros defined in i18n.inc. They are used like
their "__" equivalent, with one difference: the 'x' variants take a
hashref instead of a hash as last parameter
4. cd misc/translator && ./translate update fr-FR
5. Open misc/translator/po/fr-FR-messages.po and translate your
string(s)
6. ./translate install fr-FR
7. Use your web browser to go to the page that should display the
translation, change language and verify the translation is
correct

It would be nice if the callnumber portion of the callnumber + label was in a span,
and it also makes sense to wrap the entire callnumber string in a span as well.
This was started on bug 21340 but I have found more callnumbers in the search results that need spans.

2) Search for something in the OAPC with multiple results
3) View the HTML source

The other removes a redundant image tag from the recent comments

Changes to OPAC templates.
Depends on new CSS clases defined in separate patch.
Test plan:
To test this particular patch (intranet templates) you need:
* The syspref patch applied
* The intranet CSS patch applied
To test:
* Apply this patch
* Enable covers (if not done already)
* Go to staff interface, log in as a priviliged user.
* Select "More" -> "Administration" ->
"Global system preferences" -> "Enhanced content".
* Set ""AdlibrisCoversEnabled" to "Show" under "Adlibris".
* Save changes
* Add a book with a known cover/ISBN (if none exists)
* Set MARC field 020 a,
"INTERNATIONAL STANDARD BOOK NUMBER" to: 9780451524935
* Set MARC field 245 a, "Title" to: 1984
* Save changes
* Test opac-results.tt
* Search library catalog from OPAC for "1984".
* You should be sent to:
http://127.0.1.1/cgi-bin/koha/opac-search.pl?idx=&q=1984
* Cover image should be shown to the right of each title
with CSS class: "adlibris-cover"
* Test opac-detail.tt
(continued from previous test's location)
* Click on the title with cover (1984, ISBN: 9780451524935)
* Cover should be displayed to the left in full size.
* If clicked, should link to the full-size image.
Test opac-results-grouped.tt
* This template is only used if an external "grouping" server is
setup and the syspref "OPACGroupResults" is set to "Use".
* Personally I did not test this, b/c: terminally lazy
* Test opac-showreviews.tt
* Could not find any links to this location, manually enter it:
http://127.0.1.1/cgi-bin/koha/opac-showreviews.pl
* Image should be shown to the right in full size.
* If clicked it should take you to the detail view with the
comments tab opened.
* Test opac-showreviews-rss.tt
* Click on the RSS icon from previous test's start location.
URL should be:
http://127.0.1.1/cgi-bin/koha/opac-showreviews.pl?format=rss
* An image tag linking to the full-size image without any
styling class should be present.
* Test opac-user.tt
* Click on your username to open:
http://127.0.1.1/cgi-bin/koha/opac-user.pl
* Covers should be shown for checked out items with
CSS class: adlibris-cover
* When clicked the destination should be the same as
clicking the title column entry: opac-details.pl
* Test opac-opensearch.tt
* Click on "Advanced search" and enter "1984" then press "Search"
* This search screen uses a different template.
* Cover image should be shown to the right of each title
with CSS class: "adlibris-cover"
* If clicked, should link to the OPAC detail view.
* Test opac-readingrecord.tt
* Click on your logged-in name to go to your personal page.
* Click on "Your reading history" tab on the left.
http://127.0.1.1/cgi-bin/koha/opac-readingrecord.pl
* Covers should be shown in leftmost column with
CSS class: adlibris-cover
* If clicked, should link to the same as the 'Title' link.

- Added missing GetHiddenItems parameter change case
Without this prove t had a failure.
- Always use mocks, not set_preference
- Tweaks so t/db_dependent/00-strict.t passes
There was a typo botcat vs borcat and borrowernumber was never
defined. Grabbing from userenv, like other code does.
- Tweak t/db_dependent/Items.t to fully test changes
This will test all the if structures fully in GetHiddenItemnumbers.
prove t/db_dependent/Items.t
- Tweak borrower category code
$borrower->{categorycode} on a Koha::Patron is not the
same as $borrower->categorycode. Fixed error.
- Search was returning URLS for wrong interface
There was one search context place wrong. Changed it to $is_opac
as the logic for setting $is_opac was modified correctly.
- Corrected issues with category code.
When a user isn't logged in, $borrower is undef and causes error
when determining category code. Added conditional check.
- Properly trigger all changes in C4/Search.pm
- Fix QA Test tool failures
C4/Search.pm had some tabs.
- Add some commenting to make sense of logic
- Refactor EmbedItemsInMarcBiblio parameters to hashref
- Trigger GetMarcBiblio's EmbedItemsInMarcBiblio call.
prove t/db_dependent/Items.t
- Add missing test to trigger Koha/BiblioUtils/Iterator change
- Add borrower category overrides
These files generally add borcat parameter to GetMarcBiblio.
Others might include correction of filtering of items
(opac-basket), or a comment as to why no changes were done
(opac-search).
In the case of opac-search, correcting the first FIXME will
likely correct the OpacHiddenItems issues on tags. As such,
that is beyond this bugs scope.
Some code had loop optimizations and fixes made, like a
'next unless $record' when the biblio shouldn't even be in
the list.
- Modify opac-ISBDdetail and opac-MARCdetail
Both files had similar logic. They were rearranged and
optimized, so that both files would have practically identical
initial blocks of code.
Optimizations were possible, because GetMarcBiblio
returns a filtered record, so that there is no double call
(once in the opac-### file and once in GetMarcBiblio) to
GetHiddenItemnumbers.
- Fix hiding in opac-tags
opac/opac-tags.pl was not properly hiding.
There is currently one known bug associated with tags left.
If you have two biblios tagged by different people with the
same tag, the opac-search will show the one you tagged that
is supposed to be hidden, because tag searches work differently
than regular searches. This is beyond the scope of this bug.
See the FIXME's in opac/opac-search.pl
- Trigger the C4::ILSDI::Services changes
prove t/db_dependent/ILSDI_Services.t
- Added missing 'my'
- Test C4/Labels/Label.pm changes
- Improve C4::Record::marcrecord2csv test cases
- Corrected opac-details searchResult call
- Fix breaking issues constraint in ITerator test
- Fix ILSDI_Services test when clubs with branch exist
- Rebased again!
- Rebased t/db_dependent/Items.t conflict.

incorrectly-encoded HTML in media source links which were preventing
media from embedding correctly in the OPAC.
To test, apply the patch and enable the HTML5MediaEnabled and
HTML5MediaYouTube system preferences.
- Edit a record to include links to videos in 856$u. For example:
- https://archive.org/download/POPEYEMeetsSindbadTheSailor1936/POPEYE%20meets%20Sindbad%20The%20Sailor%20%281936%29.ogv
View the record in the OPAC and confirm that the videos display in
the
"Play media" tab and that they play correctly.

We should not expose more information than needed when someone tries
to login with invalid credentials. Saying that an account is locked
reveals that the account exists (or perhaps an email address).
Trivial fix. Keeping the var too_many_login_attempts for staff.
Note: We do not remove this distinction for the staff client here (in the
assumption that a library may well have additional security measures in
place for staff client). But it could be done too (on another report).

Why? Because we must filter the variables when we display them.
If we escape them on assignement, they will be double escaped:
[% XXX = "<span>pouet</span>" | html %]
[% XXX | html %]

Feedback from the Koha mailing list in Aug 2018 showed there was
widespread concensus for making the default behaviour of the OPAC cart

- By clicking an "Add to your cart" / "Remove" link on a detail page
- By checking boxes in search results and adding via the dropdown

This patch makes the XSLT logic add the $g subfield in the 773 display
in both the OPAC and staff interface MARC21 record detail pages.
The XSLT chooses between different ways to create the link for the
related content, but then it only adds the $g in two of the cases.
There's no obvious reason for a different display.
To test:
- Have a record with:
=773 $tHost title $gp4.
=> SUCCESS: Notice the Detail view shows:
In: Host title p4.
- Have another record with:
=773 $tHost title $gp4. $w100
- Enable UseControlNumber (only to cover the case):
=> SUCCESS: Notice the detail view shows
In: Host title p4.
- Have another record with:
=773 $tHost title $gp4. $0456
=> FAIL: The Detail view doesn't show p4.
- Apply this patch
- Reload
=> SUCCESS: The Detail view displays p4.!

'Standard number' indicates that you can search ISBN, ISSN and other
standard numbers, but we are using the wrong index and only get a
very limited search for biblionumber instead.
This patch changes the index from sn to ident.

- Search for Standard number = ISSN
Both should work.

Before this patch, the 'Request article' link is displayed whenever the

Note: at least this is the case when a user has logged in.
Update sidebar template with template variable artreqpossible.
Add code in opac-detail, MARCdetail and ISBDdetail to fill it.
Test plan:
[1] Look for two biblios with items: one that should allow article requests
and one that should not (respecting branch, patron, item type).

the first biblio and hidden for the second biblio.

If you enable pref ArticleRequests, until now all search results got the
'Request article' link. This patch tries to improve the situation by
using the new sub with the itemtype of the search result.
In most cases the number of links will drastically decrease. It may still
be possible sometimes that a link is shown while it effectively is not
possible, but we do not get the performance burden of determining that and
going through all items.
Test plan:
[1] Look for two borrowers P1 and P2 within categories C1 resp. C2.
[2] Look for two biblios B1 and B2 with default item types I1 resp. I2.
(See 942c in case of MARC21.)
[3] Make sure that no circ rules allow article requests. Enable the pref.
[4] Add/modify circ rule category=C1, itemtype=I1, art_req=yes.
Log out. Search for B1 and B2, verify that only B1 has AR link.
Log in as P1. Verify that only B1 has AR link.
Log in as P2. Verify that no biblio has AR link.
[5] Add/modify circ rule category=C2, itemtype=I2, art_req=item_only.
Log out. Search for B1 and B2, verify that both have AR links.
Log in as P1. Verify that only B1 has AR link.
Log in as P2. Verify that only B2 has AR link.

- Enable the OpacBrowseResults system preference and perform a search
in the OPAC which will return multiple results.
- Click on any title in the first page of search results.
- On the bibliographic detail page there should be a "Browse results"
link in the right-hand sidebar just as before.
- Test that the "Previous," "Back to results," and "Next" links work
correctly.
- Click the "Browse results" link. A list of the first 20 search
results should appear. An arrow should indicate the title you're
viewing.
- Click any title in the results browser. The page should correctly
load that record.
- Clicking the numbered links at the top of the results browser

In the staff client, when viewing the content of a list, it can be sorted by 'title', 'author' or 'call number' but not by 'date added'.
This patch adds 'date added' as an option for default sorting of lists. It also makes it available as a sorting option while viewing lists.
Test plan:
In the staff client and the opac:
1) View a list containing several items
=> Notice that you can't sort by 'date added'
2) Try to edit the list or create a new one
=> Notice you can't choose date added as the default sort order
3) Apply the patch

=> Make sure it orders correctly
5) Edit or create a list and choose date added as default sorting order

Here we go, next step then.
As we did not fix the performance issue when autofiltering
the variables (see bug 20975), the only solution we have is to add the
filters explicitely.
This patch has been autogenerated (using add_html_filters.pl, see next
pathces) and add the html filter to all the variables displayed in the
template.
Exceptions are made (using the new 'raw' TT filter) to the variable we
already listed in the previous versions of this patch.
To test:
- Use t/db_dependent/Koha/Patrons.t to populate your DB with autogenerated
data which contain <script> tags
- Remove them from borrower_debarments.comments (there are allowed here)
update borrower_debarments set comment="html tags possible here";
- From the interface hit page and try to catch alert box.
If you find one it means you find a possible XSS.
To know where it comes from:
* note the exact URL where you found it
* note the alert box content
* Dump your DB and search for the string in the dump to identify its
location (for instance table.field)
Next:
* Ideally we would like to use the raw filter when it is not necessary
to HTML escape the variables (in big loop for instance)
* Provide a QA script to catch missing filters (we want html, uri, url
or raw, certainly others that I am forgetting now)
* Replace the html filters with uri when needed (!)

This patch updates the OPAC and staff client carts to use CSS to
control print output, removing a print parameter which was passed to the
script.
Currently, when you click "Print" on the OPAC basket, it navigates to
a new page and initiates window.print() followed by a
window.location.href change again. Unfortunately, due to differences in
IE, Chrome, and FF, it will either show the print options, navigate away
without showing them, or refuse to navigate away after printing. By
changing to using print CSS, we don't navigate away from the basket in
the first place, so we prevent this irregular behavior.
TEST PLAN
1) Apply the patch
2) Create an OPAC basket by clicking "Add to cart" on multiple items
3) Using Chrome, IE, and Firefox (of any version), click the "Print"
button

re-loading in any way.

pop-up

This patch adds a check for UPCs and well as ISBNs to the Novelist Select conditionals in opac-detail.tt
To test (note that you must subscribe to Novelist Select):
1. If your library does not use the raton ratings feature, activate it for the purposes of this test.
2. Display a record that does not have an ISBN in the 020 field, but has a upc (or other code) in the 024 field. The rating option will
display as 5 radio buttons and a "rate it" button.
3. Apply the patch.
4. Display the same record again. The radio buttons will be replaced with stars. This indicates that the scripts on the page completed.
Rather that using the patron ratings as in indicator, you can also use a web page inspector/debugger such as firebug or the built-in

This patch is to avoid hitting an error page. We should eventually make the
max number returned configurable for ES.
To test:
1 - Have Koha running ES with 10,000+ records
2 - Search for '*'
3 - Click 'Last' to view last page of results
4 - 'Cannot perform search' error
5 - Apply patch
6 - Search again
7 - View 'Last' page
8 - No error, you go to the last of 10000
9 - Note the warning above the pagination buttons

Bug 16621 reverted part of bug 12509
1. Log in the OPAC and staff interface
2. Restrict the user logged in the OPAC (restricting yourself works)
Staff interface → Patron page → Restrictions → Add manual restriction
Put this comment the "OVERDUES_PROCESS Give the books back or we're comming!"
3. Install the fr_FR locale and switch the interface to it
4. Go to OPAC: /cgi-bin/koha/opac-user.pl
5. Then you should see the ugly comment with "OVERDUES_PROCESS"
6. Apply this patch
7. Update the translation: ./translate update or equivalent
8. Open misc/translator/po/fr-FR-opac-bootstrap.po
9. Find the string containing "Restriction added by overdues process"
10. Remove the fuzzy flag
11. Install the language
12. Refresh the page in the OPAC
13. Then you should see the translation + the comment instead of "OVERDUES_PROCESS" + the comment

In Breeding.pm we let Z3950Search return the xslt handler error codes back
to the template. They are converted to text messages by using an new include
file (added for opac and intranet now). The generic xslt_err code is now
obsoleted.
In Record.pm the errstr call is removed. The croak is done with the new
error code in err. This seems sufficient.
Test plan:
[1] Run Breeding.t
[2] Run Record.t
[3] Add a nonexisting xslt file to one of your Z3950 targets. Search on that
target and check if you see a error 'XSLT file not found'.
The bonus is these error messages are now translatable as they are in
the templates

This patch adds a DataTables-generated print button to the OPAC cart. To
make that process easier, the DataTables plugin has been upgraded to the
latest version (1.10.18) with the Buttons plugin included.
Changes to the OPAC LESS file style the DataTables button to look like
the static version.
Other templates in the OPAC which use the DataTables plugin have been
modified to use up-to-date option names.
To test, apply the patch and add several titles to the cart.
- Open the cart
- Re-sort the cart using something other than the default sort
- Click the 'Print' button.
- A print view should open in a separate window, sorted correctly,
and automatically show the print dialog.
- Click the cart's 'More details' button and click the print button.
- This should trigger the print dialog directly.
- Test DataTables sorting on other modified pages:
- Bibliographic detail page (holdings table)
- Course reserves (table of courses)
- Course details (table of titles)
- Full subscription history
- Detail page for a subscription -> More details -> Full history
- Most popular
- Purchase suggestions
- Self checkouts
- Tag cloud
- Your fines
- Your interlibrary loan requests
- Your reading history
- Your search history
- Your search IDREF for ppn (I don't know how to test this)
The DataTables plugin is removed from "Your routing lists" and Self
check-in because it is unused.

This patch removes an invalid attribute from OPAC template markup. There
should be no visible change to the OPAC.
To test, apply the patch and confirm that the following pages still look
correct when using various cover image sources: Coce, Amazon, Google:
- Bibliographic detail page (opac-detail.pl)
- The shelf browser
- Catalog search results
- Recent comments

- The page is redirected to opac-user.pl
- Log out
- Apply the patch
- Perform a new OPAC search
- Note the URL query string

This patch modifies the page for adding a title to a list so that the
"Add to existing list" option doesn't appear if there are no lists
defined.
TEST PLAN
---------
1) Make sure no lists exist at all.
2) Make there is at least one findable biblio record entered
3) Find that biblio record in the OPAC
4) Click 'Save to your lists'
-- Notice that the whole save to list section is there.
5) Apply this patch
6) Click 'Cancel'
7) Click 'Save to your lists'
-- Notice you can only add now, which makes sense.
8) Run koha qa test tools.
Perform the same tests in the staff client.

This patch modifies the markup of the users's holds table in the OPAC so
that if hold priority is displayed, the table will be sorted by that
number.
To test, apply the patch and set the OPACShowHoldQueueDetails system
preference to "Show priority level" or "Show holds and their priority
level."
- Log in to the OPAC as a user who has multiple holds with various
priorities. Include priorities which could be sorted incorrectly
using a text sort, e.g. 1, 10.
- View the holds tab on the "your summary" page. Confirm that the
priority column is sorted by default with the lowest priority holds
first.
- Set the OPACShowHoldQueueDetails preference to "Show holds" and
confirm that the holds table still displays correctly, sorted by
"Placed on" ascending.

This patch modifies the user summary page in the OPAC so that the
"pick up location" column isn't shown in the table of holds if there is
only one library defined.
To test, apply the patch and log into the OPAC as a user with one or
more holds.
- In a system with more than one library defined the "Holds" tab of
opac-user.pl should show a "Pick up location" column.
- In a system with only one library defined there should be now "Pick
up location" column.

This patch removes references to a form_serialized_itype cookie which
appears in the code as part of the process of storing information used
in the generation of the "Return to the last advanced search" link.
To test, apply the patch and perform an advanced search in the OPAC
using several search options including a limit by item type. From the
search results page, follow the "Return to the last advanced search"
link. The advanced search form should appear with all the search options
you submitted before.

This patch adds a new "share" icon to the sprite image used to style
controls in the OPAC. The "share list" links now have a "sharelist"
class which is used to style the links with the new icon.
Also changed: Fixed the page structure markup of opac-shareshelf.tt.
To test you must have the OpacAllowSharingPrivateLists system preference
enabled.
- Log in to the OPAC and go to Lists -> Your lists.
- Create one or more private lists if necessary.
- In the table of your lists there should be a "Share" link with the
new icon.
- View one of these lists and confirm that the "Share" link at the top
of the table of list items.
- Click through to the share list page and confirm that the page looks
correct.

This patch is a reimplementation of the original from Indranil Das Gupta
and the QA follow-up from Julian Maurice. Original test plan:
Conformance rules for HTML5 is generating warnings for <script> element
with type="text/javascript" attribute when the OPAC page is checked
with W3C Validator. This patch removes the cause of these warnings.
Test plan
=========
1/ Paste the URL to your OPAC page (if it is hosted) to W3C Validator
and watch about 10+ warnings being generated by the validator.
2/ Apply patch and re-submit the page to the Validator. The warnings
would be gone.
