In biblio record editor, when subfield value contains more than 100 characters the editor uses a textarea instead of an input.
On a field using authority plugin, this breaks the JavaScript because it only searches for input tags :
In /koha-tmpl/intranet-tmpl/prog/en/modules/authorities/blinddetail-biblio-search.tt :
> this.getElementsByTagName('input')[1].value = values[i];
Test plan :
1) Prepare :
1.1) Create a new biblio record with a field using authority plugin, for example 606
1.2) Do not use authority plugin but enter in 606$x more than 100 chars
1.3) Save record
1.4) Create a new autority for 606 biblio field with $a and a $x containing more than 100 chars
2) Test 1 :
2.1) Edit again the biblio record, you see a text area for 606$x
2.2) Use authority plugin on field 606
2.3) Search and choose the new autority
2.4) Check $a,$x and $9 are well filled
3) Test 2 :
3.1) Empty field 606
3.2) Create a second $x subfield and fill it with a random value
3.3) Use authority plugin again on field 606
3.4) Search and choose the new autority
3.5) Check $a and $9 are well filled
3.6) Check first $x contains the value from autority and second $x is empty

When you trigger a z39.50 search from an existing authority record,
Koha prefills the search form with the value in the record. But because
that value passes through a URL, if it isn't URI-encoded characters like

Swapped the order of the page titles to have the unique information
first, i.e. the name of the specific page displays first, and the name of the website (e.g. Koha) displays at the end.
To test:
1) Apply patch
2) Ensure each of the files in the authorities, basket and batch folders are swapped around to display the most unique information first, and the website name is at the end
3) Ensure the pages displayed on the Staff Client that correspond to these files also display the changes

Bug 12533 added authority type in authority search result display.
But it does not work for UNIMARC, due to :

I propose to use result->{authtype}

4) Same for a MARC21 catalogue

I followed the test plan, and the patch works as expected for both
UNIMARC and MARC21. There is actually an improvement in the MARC21 case:
previously, the 'Authority type' column for records in the Default
framework would not display anything, whereas now it displays 'Default'.

This patch removes the "size" attribute from <select> tags where the
value of the attribute is 1. The attribute is unnecessary because the
default value when the attribute is undefined is 1.
This will allow for more careful sizing of <select> tags without a size
attribute while preserving the desired behavior of <select> tags which
have a size greater than 1.
The patch modifies 83 files but makes the same minor corrections to
each. I think examining the diff is sufficent, or testing a
representative set of pages:
- Administration -> MARC frameworks -> MARC structure -> Edit tag:
The "Authorized value" select.
- Patrons -> New patron: The "Library" select.
- Reports -> Patrons with no checkouts: The "Into an
application" selects.

This patch changes the markup structure for the authorities
editor so that it better matches that of the basic bibliographic
record editor. This allows the authority-linking JavaScript to
correctly target fields on both pages.
To test, apply the patch and go to Authorities in the staff client.
- Create or edit an authority record.
- Switch to tab 5 and if necessary click one of the tag names (e.g.
"SEE ALSO FROM TRACING--PERSONAL NAME") to expand the subfields.
- Click the "..." plugin link next to subfield a ("Personal name" in
this example).
- In the popup window, search for an authority record.
- Click "Choose" next to one of the results.
- The popup window should close and the authority editor should contain
data from the record you chose, including a value in $9 and $a.
- Test with various records to confirm that data in other fields is
copied correctly, for instanct $d, dates associated with a name, $t
title of a work.
- Test other JavaScript-driven interactions in the editor:
- Duplicate repeatable tag
- Remove repeatable tag
- Empty tag
- Reorder sortable tags (e.g. multiple 500 tags)
- Reorder sortable subfields
- Duplicate repeatable subfield
- Remove repeatable subfield
- Empty repeatable subfield

add authority type in the form to create the missing authority.
when authority was found, the 600$9 field have the authid.
Testing scenario (Creating an authority record for a failed automatic link) :
1 - In your system preferences set:
AutoCreateAuthorities: Don't generate
BiblioAddsAuthorities: Allow
2 - Go to the Cataloging -> New record (koha/cataloguing/addbiblio.pl)
Ensure you are using the basic editor

A message should appear, telling the user "No authority link was changed."
4 - Add random informations in field 600$a of the biblio record.
5 - Click the "Link authorities automatically" button.
the message box should now show "600 - No matching authority found.".
the 9 subfield is red
Above the 9 subfield is a red X with a blue plus next to it
Hover on the plus, see it is titled 'Create authority'
6 - Click the 'Create authority' link
7 - A new authroity form pops up, the info from the cataloging editor is prefilled
Click the 100 field heading to expand and confirm info is transferred
8 - Fill in necessary fields and save the new authority
9 - The cataloging screen now has the 9 subfield populated and is green
10 - Click "Link authorities automatically" again
Dialog says "No authority link was changed"
11 - In another tab go to System preferences and set AutoCreateAuthorities to 'Generate'
12 - Add random information to the 650 field
13 - Click 'Link authorities' button
14 - Dialog says:650 - No matching authority found. A new authority was created automatically.
15 - The subfield 9 is green and has the id of the new authority record
16 - In another tab search authorities and find an existing subject heading
17 - Add a new 650 with the info from the existing record
18 - Click 'Link authorities'
19 - The new field is correctly linked to existing authority

This patch implements a few changes in the way authority records are
displayed in search results.
- In most cases heading type is now displayed as a separate column in
the table of search results.
- The heading itself is now linked rather than a separate "details"
link.
In the authority search results for MARC editor plugins the heading link
triggers a modal with the authority details instead of linking to a
separate page.
To test, apply the patch and go to Authorities.
- Perform an authority search which will return results.
- In the search results headings should be linked to the
corresponding detail page.
- There should be a separate column for heading type.
- Go to Cataloging and create a new record using a framework which has
a field linked to an authority type (e.g. 100a -> PERSO_NAME ).
- Perform a search which will return results.
- In the search results, clicking a heading link should trigger a
modal window with the authority details.
- Test multiple entries in the results and confirm that each
time the correct data is loaded into the modal window.
- Test the same process for a field which is linked to the
unimarc_field_210c.pl plugin.
- Go to Tools -> Batch record modification and submit multiple
authority record numbers.
- In the results list the heading should be linked correctly to the
corresponding detail page. Heading type is not present in this
view.
- Perform the same test with batch record deletion.

This patch makes markup and style changes to the basic MARC editor in
order to improve the page's handling of smaller browser widths. It adds
flexbox styling to elements of the form to help accomplish this.
To test, apply the patch and load a record for editing in the basic MARC
editor.
- Adjust your browser width and confirm that the form adjusts well
to various widths.
- Test that the markup changes haven't broken the JavaScript-driven
features in the editor:
- Clone tags
- Delete tags
- Expand and collapse tags
- Clone subfields
- Delete subfields
- Re-order subfields
- Cataloging plugins:
- Focus-driven plugins like on tag 000
- Popup plugins like 008 or authority-linked tags
- Select2-styled dropdowns (e.g. 942$c Item type).
- Test the add/edit items form to confirm that it is still styled as it
was before.
Edit: The Select2 plugin JavaScript file now accepts a variable to set
the "width" configuration option. It still defaults to "element."

This patch corrects the authority detail view on the staff interface so
that subfield descriptions are not longer output as truncated strings.
For instance, before this patch the subfield description for 035$a would
be "System control numbe"
After the patch it should be "System control number."

some point for readability reasons I've also made some style changes
intended to improve the readability of the page.

To test you must have an authority type configured with at least one
subfield designated as a URL:
- Go to Administration -> Authority types
- Select "MARC structure" from the actions menu for the authority type
you want to modify.
- Select "Subfields" from the actions menu for the tag containing
the subfield you want to modify (for instance 856).

Incorrect markup surrounding Bootstrap dropdown buttons causes display
problems with the buttons are in a DataTable. Dropdown wrapper <div>s
must have a "btn-group" class.
To reproduce the problem, look at the MARC bibliographic frameworks
page. The "Actions" menu when triggered will not line up with the
button.
In almost all cases, dropdown buttons inside tables should also have the
"dropup" class on their wrapper so that the menu appears above the
button. This prevents the menu from disappearing off the bottom of the
window when the button is positioned low in the viewport.
To test, apply the patch and test the button menus in tables on the

Use jQueryUI sortable to make fields and subfields moveable in the
MARC editor for both records and authorities.
This patch convert items from div's to ul's and consequently alter css
and js to match. It also replace the up arrow with a more adapted icon
(from font awesome).
Primary authorship by Elliott Davis.
To Test:
1. Add or edit a record in cataloguing module.
2. You should be able to move the fields and subfields around.
- You can click on any part of the element to drag it, the move
icon to the left of the item is a good place to do it.
=> You can only change the order of fields of the same tag.
3. Make sure all of the javascript driven fonctionnality still work :
- Duplicate fields/subfields
- Remove fields/subfields
- Using the tag editor for control fields or to link authorities
- etc
4. Reorder some fields/subfields and save the record.
5. Edit the record again.
6. The order in the editor should match the changes which were saved.
- Empty subfields should appear after the ones with content.
7. Repeat steps 1-6 with the authority editor.

This patch makes a number of changes in order to improve the way the
staff client's header menu adjusts at narrower browser widths:
- Updated version of Bootstrap 3.3.7 which includes the "collapse"
JavaScript plugin.
- Modified default Bootstrap CSS using Bootstrap's customization tool.
These changes facilitate the removal of some custom CSS (overriding
Bootstrap) from staff-global.scss.
- Added Bootstrap config file for loading customizations at
https://getbootstrap.com/docs/3.3/customize/
- Revised button classes for buttons in Bootstrap-styled toolbars.
The modified default CSS resets the base font size in Bootstrap to
better match our global CSS. A side-effect of this is that toolbar
buttons ended up looking smaller than they should. Changing the
button class solves this.
- Restructure the header menu in order to allow different rules to
govern the appearance of the navigational part of the menu
(Circulation, Search, etc) and the user menu (Set library, My
account, Log out).
- Modify the cart JS to so that the popup works well at narrow widths.
To test, apply the patch, regenerate the staff client CSS, and clear
your browser cache.
- Log in to the staff client and observe the layout of the header menu
as you adjust the browser to various widths.
- Confirm that sections of the menu "collapse" as the window gets
narrower.
- Confirm that dropdown menus behave correctly and that links work.
- Confirm that the Cart link works as expected when the cart empty
and when it has items.
- Install and enable multiple translations, including at least one
set of sub-languages (e.g. fr-FR and fr-CA).
- Test the appearance of the language menus in the footer at
various browser widths.
- View pages with button toolbars and confirm that they appear unchanged
(e.g. biblio detail page, patron detail page).
NOTE: While this patch is intended to make improvements to staff client
responsiveness, it does so within a limited scope. There are still many
pages which do not work well at narrower browser widths.

Fixes redundant includes of the right-to-left.css file.
There is no need to include it in the .tt files as it's part
of the doc-head-close.inc.
Note:
Make sure your *BaseURL preferences are correctly set as
this will make the switching between languages work
correctly and throw you back to the start page otherwise
every time you switch
Test:
- Install an RTL language like Arabic (ar-Arab)
- Test various pages with English and RTL language:
- Authorities home page
- Adding a new bibliographic record
- Adding a new item or editing items
- Advanced cataloguing (Rancor) editor
- Labels start page
- OPAC detail page
- Verify display is correct and right-to-left.css is available

This patch replaces the fixFloat jQuery plugin with a new one: HC-sticky
(https://github.com/somewebmedia/hc-sticky). This plugin provides the
same functionality without the page-reflow problems fixFloat suffers
from.
To test, apply the patch and regenerate the staff client CSS. Test the
behavior of the floating toolbar on these pages:
- Acquisitions -> Vendor -> Vendor details
- Acquisitions -> Vendor -> View basket
- On both these pages, test toolbar behavior before and after
expanding the "Orders search" options at the top of the page.
- Administration -> System preferences
- Authorities -> Create or edit an authority
- Catalog -> Advanced search
- Search results
- Catalog -> Item search
- Cataloging -> Add or edit a record
- Open the plugin window for the 008 field
- Tools -> Label creator -> New label batch -> Add items -> Search ->
Results
- Patrons -> New patron
- Test before and after expanding the patron search options at the
top of the page
- Test editing a patron too
- Tools -> Automatic item modifications by age -> Edit
- Tools -> Notices & slips -> Edit
- Lists -> View list
Check that the About page has been updated with information about the
plugin.

This patch modifies various templates to add or improve coverage of the
Bootstrap grid.
To test, apply the patch and view the following pages, confirming that
they look correct at various browser widths:
- Administration -> Item circulation alerts
- Authorities -> Authorities search -> Merge records
- Catalog -> Bibliographic details -> Rota (StockRotation must be
enabled)
- Tools -> News: Main and add/edit view

When linking authorities with authorities, if you perform a
search that returns >20 results, the "Relationship information"
section disappears when you click on the pagination hyperlinks.
This patch fixes that.
Test plan:
1) In the Authorities module, edit an authority (or create a new
one) and try to link it with another authority (via UNIMARC
500$a, for example).
2) When the authority finder comes up, search for something that
will yield more than 20 results, then click on the pagination
links -- notice how the "Relationship information" section is
no longer visible.
3) Apply the patch (and restart Plack/memcached, if necessary).
4) Repeat step 2) -- "Relationship information" is now persistent.

The authority editor (authorities/authorities.pl) does not have
a 'Cancel' button. Also, it has two 'Save' buttons.
This patch fixes that by:
a) adding a 'Cancel' button to the floating toolbar at the top
b) removing the 'Save' button from the bottom of the page
Test plan:
1) Go to Home > Authorities and launch the authority editor by
clicking on 'New authority'. Notice how the editor doesn't
have a 'Cancel' button. Also notice the two 'Save' buttons.
2) Apply the patch.
3) Re-launch the authority editor, and hit cancel; you should
be taken back to Home > Authorities.
4) Edit an existing authority, and hit cancel; you should be
taken back to the details page for the authority you chose.
5) Edit an authority as new (duplicate), and hit cancel; you
should be taken back to Home > Authorities (this behaviour
is mimicking the bibliographic editor: when duplicating a
biblio the 'Cancel' button will take you back to Home >
Cataloging).

When viewing authority MARC records in the staff client (detail view), the
MARC tags were not displaying with the tag_num, tag_desc, tag_ind1,
tag_ind2, and desc classes, which made it impossible to add styles
to these specific parts of a MARC tag. This commit adds these
styles (which are the same as the classes in the bibliographic
MARC detail display).
To test:
1) Open the staff client, then click Authorities.
2) Search for an authority record.
3) Click on Details.
4) Examine some MARC fields. Note that the entire tag title line
is in a single <div>.
5) Apply this commit.
6) Repeat steps 1-3.
7) Notice that the tag title line is now separated into several
spans, each with their own classes.

Here we go, next step then.
As we did not fix the performance issue when autofiltering
the variables (see bug 20975), the only solution we have is to add the
filters explicitely.
This patch has been autogenerated (using add_html_filters.pl, see next
pathces) and add the html filter to all the variables displayed in the
template.
Exceptions are made (using the new 'raw' TT filter) to the variable we
already listed in the previous versions of this patch.
To test:
- Use t/db_dependent/Koha/Patrons.t to populate your DB with autogenerated
data which contain <script> tags
- Remove them from borrower_debarments.comments (there are allowed here)
update borrower_debarments set comment="html tags possible here";
- From the interface hit page and try to catch alert box.
If you find one it means you find a possible XSS.
To know where it comes from:
* note the exact URL where you found it
* note the alert box content
* Dump your DB and search for the string in the dump to identify its
location (for instance table.field)
Next:
* Ideally we would like to use the raw filter when it is not necessary
to HTML escape the variables (in big loop for instance)
* Provide a QA script to catch missing filters (we want html, uri, url
or raw, certainly others that I am forgetting now)
* Replace the html filters with uri when needed (!)

Having to write [% KOHA_VERSION %] for each url is bad because:
- It's easily forgettable when adding new <script> or <link>
- It prevents grep'ing for the full filename
- It violates the DRY principle
- If at some point we want to change the "force js and css reload"
mechanism, it will be tedious
This patch:
- adds a Template::Toolkit plugin that generates <script> and
<link> tags for JS and CSS files, and inserts automatically the Koha
version in the filename
- use the new plugin to remove all occurences of [% KOHA_VERSION %]
- remove the code that was adding KOHA_VERSION as a template variable
Test plan:
1. Apply patch
2. Go to several different pages in Koha (opac and intranet) while
checking your browser's dev tools (there should be no 404 for JS and
CSS files, and the Koha version should appear in filenames) and the
server logs (there should be no "File not found")
3. `git grep KOHA_VERSION` should return nothing
4. prove t/db_dependent/Koha/Template/Plugin/Asset.t
