This patch modifies several templates in order to eliminate the
dependency on an image file for styling certain links which open popups
or new windows. A Font Awesome icon is used instead.
To test, apply the patch and rebuild the staff client CSS
(https://wiki.koha-community.org/wiki/Working_with_SCSS_in_the_OPAC_and_staff_client).
Cataloging:
- Create a new MARC record which has the same ISBN as a record in your
catalog.
- When you save the record it should warn you that it is a possible
duplicate. The message should contain an icon-prefixed link to the
existing record.
- Clicking the link should open details about the title in a new
window.
Circulation:
- Enable the itemBarcodeFallbackSearch system preference.
- Open a patron for checkout and enter a word in the "barcode" field
instead of a barcode.
- The page should return a list of titles to choose from. Each title
should be a link with an icon. Clicking the link should open details
about the title in a new window.
Acquisitions:
- Go to Acquistisions -> Vendor -> Basket.
- Choose "Add to basket" -> From an external source.
- Search for and select a record which exists in your catalog.
- You should be taken to a page with a "Duplicate warning" message. The
message should contain an icon-prefixed link to the existing record.
- Clicking this link should open details about the title in a new
window.
- Create a MARC file with two records: One which exists in your catalog
and one which doesn't. Stage that file for import.
- Choose "Add to basket" again and select "From a staged file."
- Select the file you staged.
- You should be taken to a page with a "Duplicate warning" message. The
message should contain an icon-prefixed link to the existing record.
- Clicking the link should open details about the title in a new
window.
Patrons:
- Create a new patron which has the same name and birthday as an
existing patron.
- When you save the record you should be shown a duplicate warning. The
link to the possible duplicate patron should be prefixed with an icon
and should open the patron's details in a popup window.

This patch modifies the OPAC holds template so that when an item isn't
available for an item-level hold a Font Awesome icon is displayed
instead of a famfamfam image.
To test, apply the patch and regenerate the OPAC CSS
(https://wiki.koha-community.org/wiki/Working_with_SCSS_in_the_OPAC_and_staff_client).
- Make sure you have items which can be placed on hold at the item
level.
- Locate a title with more than one item, at least one of which isn't
available to be placed on hold (item is marked withdrawn, for
instance).
- Start the process of placing a hold on the item.
- On the "Confirm holds" scren, click "Show more options" and select "A
specific item."
- In the table of items, any item which isn't available to be put on
hold should be inidicated with a red X. The title attribute of the
icon should show "Cannot be put on hold."

When a patron is created with a guarantor but a duplicate is found (or any other warnings I guess) the guarantor's info are lost.
This patch improves on previous functionality by retaining the select guarantor relationship as well.
Test Plan:
1) Create a new child with a name already used, add a guarantor
2) Attempt to save, no the guarantor is not shown when the editor is redisplayed
3) Apply this patch
4) Restart all the things!

This patch removes code from the patron search results DataTable
configuration which was designed to add "text-align:center" to the table
cells containing patron home library. I don't think there's a good
reason to centering to that data.
To test, apply the patch and perform a patron search in the staff
client. The "Library" column should contain left-aligned data, matching
almost every other column in the table.

This issue is caused by duplicating the patron guarantor fieldset.
The solution is to move it between the two forms insetad.
In addition, this patch moves the guarantor information fieldset to the area below the "Quick add" fieldset, instead of *inside* it. This change preserves the correct styling and layout of the Guarantor information fieldset whilst it is moved back and forth by the "quick add"/"full form" toggle.
Test Plan:
1) Quick add a child patron
2) Attempt to use the "Search to add" button
3) Note it does nothing
4) Apply this patch
5) Repeat steps 1 and 2
6) It works now!
7) Test toggling between the quick add and full form views,
note the "Guarantor information" fieldset shows correctly
in the full form view.

This patch modifies the patron flags page so that manually selecting all
the child permissions also checks the checkbox for the parent

permissions.
- Expand a set of permissions, for instance "Add, modify, and view
patron information."
- If any boxes are checked, uncheck them.
- Check each of the "child" checkboxes ("Add, modify, and view..." and

This patch updates the table markup for the lists contents view so that
the table sort state is correctly indicated by arrows in the table
headers. The markup changes allow the standard DataTables CSS to apply
to this table even though it is not a DataTable.
To test, apply the patch, go to Lists, and view any list with multiple
titles attached.
- The list should be sorted by default according to the list's
settings, and the arrow in the header row should correctly reflect
the sorting column and direction.
- Test re-sorting the table by each of the different sortable columns,
confirming each time that the sorting arrows are correct.

This patch removes the use of jQuery's ajaxSetup() and load() to get the

error-handling on this specific AJAX request rather than all on the
page.

- Click the "MARC view" tab.
- Click the "view plain" link.
- The plain-text MARC view should load.
- Clicking "view labeled" should return you to the original view.
To test error handling, edit opac-MARCdetail.tt line 185 and add a typo

This patch adds context (word class, either verb or noun) to the word
'Order' when it is displayed alone in the acquisitions module.
The following files have been modified:
basket.tt
neworderbiblio.tt
newordersubscription.tt
newordersuggestion.tt
ordered.tt
parcel.tt
spent.tt
transferorder.tt
uncertainprice.tt
z3950_search.tt
To test, check all those pages in English to make sure there is
no change.
1- Go to Acquisitions
2- Create a basket
3- Add to basket from an existing record (neworderbiblio)
4- Add to basket from a subscription (newordersubscription)
5- Add to basket from a suggestion (newordersuggestion)
6- Add to basket from an external source (z3950_search)
7- In one of the orders, check the uncertain price box
8- Check the basket display table (basket)
9- Click transfer on one of the orders (transferorder)
10- Go to the vendor page and click on 'Uncertain prices' (uncertainprice)
11- Click on 'Receive parcel' (parcel)
12- Go to the Acquisitions home page and click on the
amount for 'ordered' (ordered)
13- Go to the Acquisitions home page and click on the
amount for 'spent' (spent)
Next, install a new language (fr-CA used as example)
1- translate create fr-CA
2- open fr-CA-messages.po and add a translation for Order
(verb) and Order (noun) (it doesn't have to be real, just
write something different for each)
3- translate install fr-CA
4- in the system preferences, enable the french language in
'language'
5- change interface language to french
Redo the tests above to make sure the word you put in the translation
for the verb is in the places where 'Order' should be a verb and that
the translation you put in for the noun is in the places where 'Order'
should be a noun

When an invalid bibliographic record is imported into the catalogue
there is not warning or error. However the bibliographic record detail
page will explode (Koha::Biblio::Metadata->record will raise an
exception).
This patch proposes to catch the exception on this view and display a
warning about the situation.
Note that editing/saving the record will fix the MARCXML data and so
removes the warning (some black magic we should get rid of I suspect).
Test plan:
- Import a bibliographic record with invalid XML, you can add non
printable characters, like 0x1F (CTRL-V 1F with vim)
- Go to the detail page
=> Without this patch you get a 500
=> With this patch applied you get a "degraded view" with a warning
message, telling you what the error is.

This patch updates the DataTables configuration for two tables: The
checkouts and holds lists shown on the checkout and patron details
screen.
The tables lacked the standard application of a custom set of
defaults defined in js/datatables.js. It is in this file that custom
language strings are defined for DataTable interface elements, pulling
in the translated values from datatables.inc.
Without our custom defaults applied, DataTables used its own defaults,
which are not translated.
To test, apply the patch and check out to a patron who has both
checkouts and holds. The more the better to give you more time to
observer the loading state of the tables.
- Checkouts: This table doesn't exhibit any visible problems because
page-specific text is defined for the table's "Loading" message.
However, it still makes sense to apply the defaults to the table for
consistency's sake. There should be no visible changes to the table.
- Holds: From the checkout or patron details page click the "Holds"
tab. While the table loads there should be a "Processing" message. If
you switch to another translation the message should appear in that
language.

This patch adds a link to the default bibliographic details page from
the breadcrumbs menu on the item details page.
The patch also makes a minor update to staff client CSS to allow for use
of biblio-default-view.inc to generate the link and have it styled
correctly.
To test, apply the patch and update the staff client CSS
(https://wiki.koha-community.org/wiki/Working_with_SCSS_in_the_OPAC_and_staff_client).

When the leader6 is set to 'i' the MARC21slim2intranetDetail.xsl
attempts to display 'SO.png' which does not exist.
TEST PLAN:
1. Find or create a record with an 'i' as the 6th position in the 000 leader.
2. Do to the OPAC detail page and staff detail for an item in that record.
3. Notice the material type icon does not display because SO.png does not exist.
4. Apply patch and restart_all
5. Look at the opac detail and staff detail page again after clearning the browser cache.
6. The material type icon now displays (MU.png), this is the same icon used on the OPAC results page.

This patch updates the TinyMCE editor to the latest version (5.0.16) and
adds a translatable include file which will allow the TinyMCE interface
to show the same translation as Koha.
The configuration of the editor has been updated according to the new
version's requirements, keeping all the tools available we had before
and adding emoji support.
To test, apply the patch and enable the UseWYSIWYGinSystemPreferences
system preference.
TESTING THE UPGRADED EDITOR
- Go to Administration -> System preferences -> OPAC.
- Multiple instances of the TinyMCE editor should appear on the page:
opaccredits, OpacCustomSearch, OpacLoginInstructions, etc.
- Test adding and editing content to one or more of these editors.
Confirm that the various editor tools work correctly.
- Verify that changing the contents of any editor (including via paste)
enables the corresponding "Save all X preferences" button.
- Test the news editor under Tools -> News.
- Test the library "OPAC info" editor in libraries administration:
Administration -> Libraries -> Edit library -> OPAC info.
TESTING TRANSLATABILITY
- Update a translation:
> cd misc/translator
> perl translate update fr-FR
- Open the corresponding .po file for the staff client, e.g.
misc/translator/po/fr-FR-staff-prog.po
- Locate strings pulled from includes/str/tinymce_i18n.inc for
translation, e.g.:
#. SCRIPT
#: intranet-tmpl/prog/en/includes/str/tinymce_i18n.inc:1
#, fuzzy
msgid "File"
msgstr "Fichier :"
- Edit the "msgstr" string however you want (it's just for testing) and
remove the "fuzzy" line.
- Install the updated translation:
> perl translate install fr-FR
- Go to Administration -> System preferences -> OPAC.
- In each instance of the TinyMCE editor, the first menu item should
have as its label the translation "msgstr" string you edited.
- Check that the "About" page shows updated information about
the TinyMCE version, 5.0.16.

Bug 22203 changed the behavior on the hold-found2 modal
that pops up when a hold is found so that whether or not
the patron's name is displayed is now governed by the
HidePatronName system preference.
However, if a hold is confirmed and you check the item
in a second time, the modal that pops up is hold-found1
and whether or not the patron's name is displayed in
the hold-found1 modal is not governed by the HidePatronName
system preference.
For the sake of consistency, the display of the patron's
name on hold-found2 and hold-found1 should both be governed
by the HidePatronName system preference.
To test:
- Place a hold on an item
- Check in the item to trigger the hold modal
- Confirm hold
- Check the item in again - verify name of patron displays
- Apply patch
- Repeat
- Verify name display now matches between the two modals
- change HidePatronName pref
- Repeat
- Name display should still match

This patch replaces CSS-based background image icons with Font Awesome
icons. This will eliminate the use of sprite.png altogether.
To test, apply the patch and regenerate the OPAC CSS
(https://wiki.koha-community.org/wiki/Working_with_SCSS_in_the_OPAC_and_staff_client).
Because JavaScript events are often triggered by class, the changes made
in this patch require testing of JavaScript-driven behavior as well as
visual confirmation of the changes.
Enable OPAC features to expose them for testing: Login, Holds, Article
requests, Tags, Cart, Search term highlighting.
- Perform a search in the OPAC
- In the header at the top of the search results, check the
'Unhighlight/Highlight' link.
- Select some search results and verify that the multi-item controls
are enabled: Add to cart/Lists; Place hold; Tag. Check that these
controls work correctly.
- Verify that the following links look correct and work correctly:
'Place hold,' 'Request article,' 'Log in to add tags,' 'Add to
cart.'
- Log in to the OPAC and return to the search results page. Check the
'Add tag' and 'Save to lists' links.
- View the lists page
- Test the 'Edit' and 'Delete' controls.
- View the contents of a list. Test the following:
- Controls at the top of the table of results ('New list,'
'Download list,' 'Send list,' 'Print list,' 'Edit list,' and
'Delete list').
- Multi-selection operations: 'Place hold,' 'Tag,' and 'Remove
from list.'
- Controls for each item on the list: 'Place hold,' 'Add tag,'
'Save to another list,' 'Remove from this list,' and 'Add to
cart.'
- View the bibliographic detail page for any search result
- In the right-hand sidebar menu, verify that these controls look
correct and work correctly: 'Place hold,' 'Print,' 'Request
article,' 'Save to your lists,' 'Add to your cart,'
'Unhighlight,' 'Send to device,' 'Save record,' and 'More
searches.'
- Test the shelf browser by clicking 'Browse shelf' under the call
number for any of the holdings.
- Test the 'Next' and 'Previous' controls.
- Check the tabs for switching between 'Normal,' 'MARC,' and 'ISBD'
views and verify that they look correct on each of those pages.
- Add some items to the Cart and open the Cart
- Test the cart controls at the top: 'More details/Brief display,'
'Send,' 'Download,' 'Empty and close,' 'Hide window,' 'Print.'
- Test the multiple-selection controls: 'Remove,' 'Add to list,'
'Place hold,' and 'Tag.'
- Log in to the OPAC as a user who has items checked out which can be
renewed. On the 'Your summary' page, on the 'Checked out' tab, test
the 'Renew selected' and 'Renew all' links.

This adds a "Claims returned" feature that extends and enhances the claims returned lost status.
To use this feature, a new LOST status to represent an item claimed as returned needs to be created.
The value of this LOST authorised value should be set in the new syspref ClaimReturnedLostValue.
Setting this system preference turns on the feature.
Once the feature is enabled, you should be able to mark checked out items as return claims from the
checkout and patron details pages, and also modify them from the new claims tab on those pages.
Returning a claimed item will notify the librarian that the item in question has a claim on it.
Setting the ClaimReturnedWarningThreshold will add an alert to make librarians aware that this
patron has many return claims on the patron's record.
Test Plan:
1) Create a "Claims Returned" lost value
2) Create some RETURN_CLAIM_RESOLUTION authorized values
3) Set ClaimReturnedLostValue
4) Set ClaimReturnedChargeFee
5) Set ClaimReturnedWarningThreshold
6) Create some checkouts
7) Claim some returns
8) Verify ClaimReturnedChargeFee works with all 3 options
9) Verify ClaimReturnedWarningThreshold shows a warning once the threshold has been exceeded
10) Edit notes on a claim
11) Resolve a claim
12) Delete a claim

The main point of this patch is to make it possible to integrate Koha
with the Norwegian national patron database (NNPDB). Code for this was
earlier introduced in Bug 11401 and removed again in Bug 21068.
To test this is mainly a question of spotting regressions, it should
still be possible to set and change a password in all possible ways:
- Setting a password for a new user
- Changing a password in the staff client
- Changing a password in the OPAC
If these work as expected, everything should be OK.
A nice side effect of this work is that it will allow for plugins that
validate passwords. I have created a tiny plugin that enforces PIN
codes of 4 digits. (Yeah, I know, those are the worst passwords, but
some libraries do require them.) It is published here:
https://github.com/Libriotech/koha-plugin-pin
To test this way, install the plugin and try to change the password
of an exsisting user to something that is not a 4 digit PIN. You
should get an error that says "The password was rejected by a plugin".
Signed-off-by: Brendan Gallagher <brendan@bywatersolutions.com>
Updated 2019-10-23:
- Moved the plugin checks to before the call to $self->SUPER::store to
make sure patrons are not saved if the password fails a plugin check
- Made the plugin checks in set_password respect skip_validation while
retaining the functionality for NNPDB

This patch modifies JavaScript used in circulation, replacing an
untranslatable English string in the script with a variable defined in
strings.inc which can be translated.
To test you should have the AllowCheckoutNotes system preference
enabled.
- Apply the patch and log in to the OPAC as a user who has two or more
items checked out.
- From the list of checkouts on the "Your summary" page, add a note to
two or more checked-out items.
- Log in to the staff client and open the checkout page for that user.
- In the table of checkouts, check the "Check in" checkbox next to
one of the titles you added a note to.
- Click "Renew or check in selected items."
- A message should appear in that table row showing your note,
prefixed with the text "Patron note:"
To test translation, update and install the de-DE template:
> cd misc/translator
> perl translate update de-DE
> perl translate install de-DE
- Go to Administration -> System preferences and enable the "Deutsch
(de-DE)" language under I18N/L10N preferences -> language.
- Switch to the "Deutsch" translation.
- Go to Ausleihe (Circulation) and check out to the same patron.
- In the table of checkouts, check the checkbox in the "Rückgabe"
column next to another title you added a note to.
- Click the "Markierte Exemplare zurückgeben oder verlängern" button.
- A message should appear in that table row showing your note
prefixed with the text "Benutzernotizen:"

Whilst working on something else, it came to light that the previous fix
in bug 23229 was waaaaay too heavy handed and basically kills all ILL
related JS :( This is obviously a big problem, this patch fixes that.
The main problem is that all the ILL related JS is in a single file,
which isn't ideal as bits of it are used on different pages. Ideally,
we'd refactor it out into more manageable chunks which can be included
as required. Until such a time, this patch will do, it just prevents the
"get all requests" AJAX request unless you're on the ILL list page.

custom cover images have a maximum width of 140px (to match the width of
generated local cover image thumbnails). This prevents oversized images
from displaying inconsistently compared to images from other services.
This patch also adds a missing </a> to fix display problems.
To test, apply the patch and regenerate the staff client CSS. Post an
oversized image which corresponds to a record in your catalog.

This patch set adds a new method to display cover images for
bibliographic records.
The idea is to provide a flexible way allowing several use cases:
- local path
- remote url
- webservice
which would follow a given pattern.
So far only the following patterns are available:
- {isbn} will be replaced byt the isbn of the record
- {issn}
- using MARC subfields:
{024$a} to replace with the value in 024$a
(Note that the selector has been changed from %% to {} in a coming
patch)
For example
- /your/local/images/{isbn}.png
- https://covers.openlibrary.org/b/isbn/{isbn}-M.jpb
- etc.
There are 3 new sysprefs:
CustomCoverImagesURL
=> Define the path/url
CustomCoverImages
=> Turn on/off the display of the custom cover image in the staff client
OPACCustomCoverImages
=> Turn on/off the display of the custom cover image at the OPAC

This patch updates the SocialNetworks system preference so that it
offers a choice of social networks (and email) which can be enabled in
the OPAC.
This patch also replaces the social network images with Font Awesome
icons styled so that the colors match the social networks' current
branding. The old social networks sprite image is removed.
To test, apply the patch and run the database update. Rebuild the OPAC
CSS:
https://wiki.koha-community.org/wiki/Working_with_SCSS_in_the_OPAC_and_staff_client
- Go to Administration -> Global system preferences -> OPAC -> Features
and find the SocialNetworks preference.
- If your SocialNetworks preference was enabled, all choices should
be selected. Otherwise none should be selected.
- If none are selected, select them all and save.
- Locate a record in the OPAC and view the details page.
- The social network icons should appear as expected and function as
before.
- Return to system preferences in the staff client and try enabling and
disabling different options, verifying each time that the OPAC
reflects your choices.

This feature allows you to add multiple item records when receiving a
serial, if the subscription is set to 'create item record when receiving
serials'. Please note this is not the same as multi-receiving, more like
multi-adding!
To test:
1) Create a subscription, ensure the 'Create an item record when
receiving this serial' option is selected
2) Receive a serial
3) Expand the item form by selecting 'click to add item'
4) Fill in details, including a barcode. Leave 'number of copies' as 1
and Save.
5) Confirm the serial is received as expected.
6) In another tab, open the bibliographic record attached to this
subscription
7) Confirm the item record was created upon receiving the serial
8) Go back to the serial collection and receive next serial
9) Expand the item form by selecting 'click to add item'
10) Fill in details again, this time change 'number of copies' to a
different number e.g. 3, and Save
11) Confirm the serial is received as expected.
12) Check back at the biblio record that 3 item records were created and
the barcode was incremented for each additional item.

Shift-Ctrl-X: Now cuts current subfield into clipboard area
Added:
Ctrl-C: Copies a line into the clipboard area
Shift-Ctrl-C: Copies current subfield into clipboard area

Currently the order search can't be limited by managing library.
The patch adds the search option to the order history search form
and a column for the managing library to the search results table.
To test:
- Create some baskets with orders
- Set managing library for some, but also have some without
- Apply patch
- prove t/db_dependent/Acquisition.t
- Go to Aquisition > Orders search tab on top > Advanced search link
- Search for orders without limiting
Orders with and without managing library set should show up
- Limit search to a specific managing library
- Verify results match expectations

This patch upgrades jQuery to 3.4.1, jQuery-UI to 1.12.1, and adds the
jQuery-migrate plugin to ensure backwards-compatibility with existing
jQuery plugins and code. An updated of jquery-ui-rtl.css has been
created by converting the new version of jquery-ui.css.
All jQuery assets are now include the version number in the file name
just as we now do in the staff client.
Besides updating file names in the templates, there was only one change
made: opac-results.tt had a typo which has been corrected.
To test, apply the patch and test as many different pages in the OPAC as
possible, including self-checkout and self checkin. Keep the browser
console open and watch for JavaScript errors. All JavaScript-driven
behavior should work correctly. For instance:

- Datepickers
- Select all/none operations

A Perl boolean value is on the server side converted
to a JS string (resulting in the values '0' or '1).
Since the string '0' is a truthy value in JS this

Currently Koha very inconsistently adds a . at the end when
outputting MARC fields on the detail views.
This patch removes the few cases where we add in .
Keeping the end user in mind, I believe it's not needed and
the added consistency will be nice. ISBD should be added on
cataloguing or by templates, but we should not mix when possible.
To test:
Catalog the following fields, if repeatable, add more than one:
- 020
- 022
- 111
- 242
- 245
- 246
- 250
- 300
- 440
- 490
- 700/710/711 with $i
- 700/710/711 ind.2 = 2

additional . at the end of the line.

which is displayed. This prevents any information from being hidden by
the modal.

Trailing comma's were causing hidden javascript errors during selenium

Error was identified by adding a $s->capture($driver) line to the

to the screen.
(function () {

function createErrorList() {
ul = document.createElement('ul');
ul.setAttribute('id', 'js_error_list');
//ul.style.display = 'none';

}
window.onerror = function(msg){
if (ul === null)
createErrorList();
var li = document.createElement("li");
li.appendChild(document.createTextNode(msg));
ul.appendChild(li);
};
})();

This patch adds the ability to place a hold for each member of a club in random order.
To test:
1) apply this patch
2) create 2 clubs, (club names should have some part in common, and some part different for each other)
3) in one of them add at least 6 members
4) enter patron clubs management and click on "Actions" button
SUCCESS.1 => club with members has a new action called "search to hold"
5) click on search to hold
SUCCESS.2 => in the list of bilios there appears an action called "Place hold for <club name>"
6) click on "Place hold for <club name>"
SUCCESS.3 => a new window appears where you can select pickup location (defaults to club's library, if any), and the list of members.
7) go back to the list of bilios in the catalog and click on "Forget <club name>"
8) click on "Holds" action of any biblio
SUCCESS.4 => a search box appears with two tabs: Patrons and Clubs
9) click on Clubs tab and search by the common part of clubs names
SUCCESS.5 => a list of clubs that matches the search appears. If you click on any of them, the same page as SUCCESS.3 appears.
10) go back to the search box in SUCCESS.4 and search by the different part of the name.
SUCCESS.6 => because there is only one club that matches search criteria, the same page as SUCCESS.3 appears;

This patch adds a "data-categorycode" attribte to the logged in link in
the global header of the OPAC. This will allow access to the patron
category for use in customization and whatnot.
To test, apply the patch and log in to the OPAC. Use the browser's DOM
inspector tool to examine the logged-in user's name in the header. It
should have a "data-categorycode" attribute with the correct value.

In Tools > Batch item modification, one can modify or delete a subfield.
When deleting a subfield et modifying another, the wrong subfield gets modified.
This is caused by the fact that disabled inputs are not posted in form.
So for a subfield to delete :
Input name=field_value is not posted. But input name=subfield is posted with subfield code.
So these 2 arrays does not have the same size :
my @subfields = $input->multi_param('subfield');
my @values = $input->multi_param('field_value');
For exemple, deleting $2, not changing $u and modidying $v will modify $u with value for $v o_O
This patch correts but setting disabled all inputs of a deleted subfield : field_value, tag, subfield and mandatory. Like it was not present in the form.
Test plan :
- Go to Tools > Batch item modification
- Enter a barcode and submit
- Lets say there are subfields : $2 (not mandatory), $u and $v
- Check the subfield $2 to be deleted
=> $2 input is disabled
- Enter a text in $v
- Submit the form
=> Without patch, the text for $v gets into $u
=> With patch, the text for $v gets into $v
- Check the subfield $2 is well deleted

This patch adds some new columns to the overdue report: Patron category,
item home library, item holding library, item type. Adding these columns
makes available columns better match the available filter fields in the
sidebar form.
Column configuration is added to this DataTable, with the new columns
defined as hidden by default in order to preserve current functionality.
This patch also fixes a bug where the home and holding branch template
variable names didn't match what was being used in the template for
pre-selecting the searched-for value in the sidebar filter menu.
To test, apply the patch and go to Circulation -> Overdues.
- The list of overdues should look correct, with no new columns shown.
- Test the column visibility button, showing the columns which are
hidden by default. Confirm that the data in these columns displays
correctly.

-> Configure columns. Confirm that your changes are applied to the
overdues report.

outward effect on the behavior of the item search other than making it

Brought up on Bug 21578, the 'your fines' tab in the OPAC would be
better named as 'your charges' as not all charges are fines, some are
credits etc.
To test:
1) In the OPAC, click on the user's name and note that the tab that was called your fines is now called your charges.
2) When you click on the tab, the title says Your charges, the breadcrumb says Your
charges, and the table title is Your charges.

This patch corrects two issues raised during testing:
- Move JavaScript out of template check for IntranetUserJS so that
SpineLabelAutoPrint behavior works correctly.
- Add "close" button to pop-up window for cases when the barcode was
not found.
Also changed:
- Added "required" attribute to barcode input on quick spine
label printing page so that submitting an empty form will not work.
- Tweaked CSS slightly to fix alignment of spine label form and submit
button. (You must rebuild the staff client CSS:

This patch makes changes to the way quick spine label printing works,
either from the bibliographic details page or the Quick spine label
creator page.
To test, apply the patch and go to Tools -> Quick spine label creator.
- Type or scan a barcode. Submitting the form should trigger a popup
window with the spine label print page. The "print" button should
be centered at the bottom of the window in a footer-like container.
- If you have SpineLabelAutoPrint enabled, the print dialog should
appear automatically.
- After printing, the pop-up window should close and and focus should
be returned to the barcode field.
Enable the SpineLabelShowPrintOnBibDetails system preference. View the
bibliographic details page for a record in the catalog.
- In the holdings table, a "Spine label" column should appear as the
second-to-last column. The column should contain "Print label"
Bootstrap-style buttons.
- Clicking a "Print label" button should trigger a pop-up window with
the spine label print page. The behavior of the window should be the
same as above.

This patch adds some JavaScript-driven "breakpoints" to the OPAC so that
on the search results page the "Refine your search" heading has
different behaviors depending on whether facets are being displayed as a
sidebar.
To test, apply the patch and regenerate the OPAC SCSS
(https://wiki.koha-community.org/wiki/Working_with_SCSS_in_the_OPAC_and_staff_client).
Go to the OPAC and resize your browser to be greater than ~ 800px wide.
- Perform a catalog search which will return several results.
- In the left-hand sidebar of the search results page, the "Refine your
search" heading should not be styled like a link. Hovering over it
with the mouse should not change the cursor to the pointing-hand.
- Narrow your browser window until the sidebar collapses.
- The "Refine your search" heading should now be styled as a link,
with a right-arrow icon before it.
- Clicking it should expand the facets. The icon should change to a
down-arrow.
- Widen your browser window and test again.
- Perform the same tests when starting with a narrow browser window.

query_cgi and limit_cgi. In this patch I only replaced it where it is
needed. The template contains more references to SEARCH_RESULT.query_cgi

not return these hash keys at all.

If a budget is locked, there is a "New fund for $budget" link that is
disabled but clickable.
We should ensure that the link is not clickable and prevent it at
controller level (do we need it at module level, ie.
Koha::Acquisition::Fund->store?)
Test plan:
- Create a budget, lock it
- Go to /cgi-bin/koha/admin/aqbudgetperiods.pl
- Click on the name of the budget you just created
=> The "New > New fund for $budget_name" button should be disabled
- Click it anyway
=> Without this patch the form to add a new fund is displayed
=> With this patch applied nothing happens
- Hit /cgi-bin/koha/admin/aqbudgets.pl?op=add_form&budget_period_id=XXX
With XXX the budget's id

This patch fixes a bug introduced by my patch for Bug 23405: Keyboard
navigation of patron autocomplete results was broken because I
incorrectly assumed that the autocomplete "select" action was redundant
because keyboard navigation would trigger the selected link. It doesn't!
This patch adds the "select" action back to the autocomplete
configuration, explicitly defining a redirect to match the URL which is
followed if the user uses the mouse to click a result.
To test you should have a patron in your database which has no card
number. Make sure CircAutocompl is enabled.
- From the circulation home page, type a patron name in the "Check out"
form and wait for autocomplete search results to display.
- Making a selection from the autocomplete results should work by
clicking with a mouse OR using the arrow keys and TAB or ENTER.
- Test with patrons with and without card numbers.

This patch upgrades DataTables and makes some style changes to the
default DataTables toolbar style. DataTables assets are now combined and
minified using their download customizer, bundling together these
elements:
- JSZip 2.5.0
- pdfmake 0.1.36
- DataTables 1.10.18
- Buttons 1.5.6
- Column visibility 1.5.6
- HTML5 export 1.5.6
- Print view 1.5.6
- FixedHeader 3.1.4
DataTables assets have been moved from lib/jquery/plugins to
lib/datatables. The global header and footer include files are updated
correspondingly.
This patch removes the custom "four_button" pagination configuration and
updates pages which used it to use the built-in "full" type instead.
This is done for the sake of consistency and upgradability. This change
touches a lot of files.
Table-specific CSS has been moved from staff-global.scss to a new
include, _tables.scss. A second common include, _mixins.scss has some
variable definitions used in both files.
Many images have been made obsolete by this change and have been
removed.
To test, apply the patch and regenerate the staff client CSS. View
various pages in the staff client with tables:
- Not formatted by DataTables:
- Reports -> Most circulated items
- Catalog -> Search results
- Formatted by DataTables without column configuration
- Acquisitions -> Vendor search
- Lists
- Formatted by DataTables with column configuration
- Administration -> Libraries
- Administration -> Item types
- Reports -> Saved SQL reports

This patch makes a few corrections to the process of printing patron
cards from the patron lists page. These changes are necessitated by Bug
20650: Changes to the markup in patroncards/print.tt were not reflected
in the JavaScript in patron_lists/lists.tt.
Also fixed: A missing quotation mark, a missing semicolon, and
incorrect template variable filter.
To test, apply the patch and go to Tools -> Patron lists.
- Click the "Actions" menu corresponding to a patron list.
- Select "Print patron cards."
- In the "Print patron cards" modal, click the "Export" button.
- The modal should reload with a link to download a patron card PDF.
The link should work correctly.

As per test feedback I've changed wording from debarrment to restriction
Added insertion into the borrower_debarments table and removal from
borrower_debarments table (and borrowers.debarred and
borrowers.debarredcomment) when either 'Restriction
expiration' or 'Restriction comment' are ticket to be disabled/deleted.
Test plan (please follow this instead of following test plan in the
first patch):
1. Go to Tools > Batch patron modification
2. Input the cardnumbers of several (undebarred/unrestricted) patrons
and submit
3. Notice there is no input for setting Restriction expiration date or
Restriction comment
Also notice in the list of matching borrowers at the top of the page
there is no display of the 'Restriction expiration' or 'Restriction
comment' values for the patron
4. Apply patch
5. Restart memcached and plack
6. Refresh the page notice 'Restriction expiration' (a date picker
input) and 'Restriction comment'are now input options
Also notice in the table at the top of the page 'Restriction
expiration' and 'Restriction comment' are shown on the far right of the table (you may need
to scroll to see this)
7. Pick a date in the 'Restriction expired' datepicker and write in text into
the 'Restriction comment' field and submit
8. Notice in the next loaded page the selected patrons have the
'Restriction expiration' and 'Restriction comment' values you entered
9. Query the borrower_debarments database table and check that the new
debarments are added to this table
10. Go back to the Batch patron modification page and re-input the same
cardnumbers
11. Write text into the 'Restriction comment' field and don't pick a
'Restriction expiration' value and submit
12. Notice in the next loaded page the selected patrons have the
'Restriction expiration' value of 9999-12-31 and 'Restriction comment'
value you just entered
13. Query the borrowers table and notice the borrowers.debarred value
for the modified patrons is '9999-12-31' and the
borrower.debarredcomment is what you inputted in step 11
14. Query the borrower_debarments table and notice the expiration value
is NULL and the comment value is set to what you entered in step 11
Also note the addition of the new debarment has not removed the existing
debarment on the patrons
15. Click on the cardnumber link of one of the patrons and notice the red
text on their patron account page informing you they are restricted
until the date you set
16. In the Koha home directory enter Koha shell:
sudo koha-shell <instancename>
17. Run: prove xt
18. All tests should pass
19. Repeat step 10 and tick the checkbox beside the 'Restriction
expiration' field and submit
20. In the next loaded screen notice the 'Restricted expiration'and
'Restricted comment' are empty
Check the borrower_debarments table and notice all restrictions for the
patron are removed.
Check the borrowers table and notice the debarred and debarredcomment
fields are empty for the patrons
21. Repeat steps 10 and 11 to make a new restriction
22. Repeat step 19 and this time check the 'Restriction comment' field
and submit and observe that also clears the restriction in the next

In intranet after a search you see a results browser top left of biblio record details.
Actually this uses text for links next and previous with a character for the arrows.
I propose to use Font Awesome icons arrows.
In fact the translated text is often too large for those buttons.
For example "Previous" is "Préédant" in french and it causes the next and previous buttons to display on two lines.
Using icons is more compact and easy to use.
This patch also adds the list icon to back to results link and changes for a minimal text "Results".
1) Go to intranet
2) Perform a search with a few results
3) Click on first record
4) Check browser displays well
5) Click on next icon, check you go to next search result
6) Click on revious icon, check you go to previous search result

This patch corrects a problem with hold confirmation dialogs on the
checkin page when the HoldsAutoFill system preference is enabled and the
item being checked in has a hold at another library.
The confirmation dialog is converted to a modal to match other
confirmation information.
As part of this process two whole sections of the template have been
removed because they were redundant.
To test, apply the patch and test the following circumstances both with
HoldsAutoFill enabled AND disabled:
- A hold for a patron at your library
- A hold for a patron not at your library
- With HoldsAutoFill ON, both the "OK" and "Print slip and confirm"
buttons should dismiss the modal without reloading the page.
- A hold which is already marked 'Waiting'
- An item which needs to be transferred
- An item which has already been transferred
In all cases the confirmation modal should appear with correct
information.

This patch adds columns configuration to the DataTable which displays
Z39.50 search results in the cataloging module.
The Z39.50 results screen has its own server-side paging system, so I
added some code to copy the page number information ("Page 2 / 6") to
the DataTable toolbar for a more consistent appearance. The wording of
that information has also been modified for consistency's sake.
To test, apply the patch and restart Plack (or restart_all on
kohadevbox)
- Go to Cataloging -> New from Z39.50/SRU.
- Perform a Z39.50 search which will return multiple pages of results.
- Confirm that the DataTable controls work correctly: Search, columns
show/hide, export.
- Confirm that the page number information is correct as you navigate
through pages of results.
- Go to Administration -> Columns settings.
- Confirm that the columns configuration settings for the z3950_search
table in the "Cataloging" section works correctly. Changes made here
should be reflected in the table of Z39.50 search results.
- Test other tables which use columns configuration to confirm that the
changes made in this patch doesn't disrupt their behavior. Test that
any custom columns configuration are applied. For example:
- Administration -> Libraries
- Reports -> Saved reports
- Circulation -> Holds queue

This patch makes a number of interface changes to the Stock Rotation
management interface:
- "Add stage" and "Add items" forms are now triggered by clicking new
buttons in the toolbar.
- "Manage stages" and "Manage items" menu items have been added to a
sidebar menu to be displayed when stages or items are being managed.
- JavaScript has been added to move focus to the first form field in
the modal when it is displayed. The "autofocus" attribute is not
sufficent here because the modal is hidden by default.
- Add messages to be shown when there are no items or stages to be
displayed.
- Correct "selected" attributes to use XHTML-style: selected="selected"
To test, apply the patch and go to Tools -> Stock rotation.
- Create a rota if you don't already have one.
- Manage stages for your rota.
- If your rota has no stages you should see a message along with an
"Add stage" button. The button should trigger the "Add stage"
modal.
- Test the "Add stage" button in the toolbar. It should trigger a
modal dialog containing the form for adding a new stage. The
cursor focus should automatically be on the "library" field.
- Submitting the form should correctly add the stage.
- Verify that there is a new menu in the sidebar, "Manage stages"
and "Manage items."
- Manage items for your rota.
- If your rota has no items you should see a message along with an
"Add items" button. The button should trigger the "Add items"
modal.
- Test the "Add items" button in the toolbar. It should trigger a
modal dialog containing the form for adding new items. The cursor
focus should automatically be on the "barcode" field.

correctly.

This patch modifies the JavaScript behind the patron search
results autocomplete widget which is displayed when typing in the search
header's "Check out" tab.
The script is modified to use the patron's borrowernumber instead of
cardnumber when redirecting to the checkout page.
Instead of copying the patron's card number into the search form and
triggering a submit, the autocomplete output uses direct links to each
result.
To better handle patrons with no card number, the output is modified to
show card number with parentheses only if card number is present.
To test you should have a patron in your database which has no card
number. Make sure CircAutocompl is enabled.
- From the circulation home page, type a patron name in the "Check out"
form and wait for autocomplete search results to display.
- Patrons with a card number should be listed in the format: Surname,
First name (Card number) Address.
- Patrons without a card number should be listed as: Surname, First
name Address.
- Clicking on either kind of result should link you the checkout screen
for that patron.

In advanced search there is a language limit (UNIMARC 101$a), add language of original (UNIMARC 101$c).
This patch adds a TT BLOCK to avoid copy the code.
Test plan:
1) Create some records with language and language of original
2) Go to advanced search page
3) Check limit on language is OK
4) Check limit on language of the original is OK
5) Check using both is OK

There are a few places in the OPAC where we hide the submit button on a
sorting form because the form auto-submits when the selection changes.
These should be hidden using CSS instead of JS to prevent the temporary
appearance of the submit button while the page loads.
To test, apply the patch and rebuild the OPAC CSS
(https://wiki.koha-community.org/wiki/Working_with_SCSS_in_the_OPAC_and_staff_client).
Test OPAC search results and OPAC checkout history. On both pages you
should not see a "Go" button next to the <select> input for changing the
sort order.
Disable JavaScript in your browser and test those pages again. The "Go"
button should appear.

Unify and clean up subtitle usage so that it's always used as a simple array and not the old hash structure.

The SIP2 interface has long used a set of accounttypes to denote payment
types. Now we have an authorised list of payment_types and a
payment_type field in accountlines this patch alters the logic to use
it.

This patch makes a few corrections to the staff client MARC21 XSLT so
that the correct material type icons are displayed for pictures and
realia. The more-specific material type handling has been adapted from
the corresponding XSL files in the OPAC.
To test you must have default XSLT enabled and the DisplayIconsXSLT and
DisplayOPACiconsXSLT system preferences enabled.
- Apply the patch and locate records with "type of record" specified in
the leader as 'g', 'k', and 'r'.
A sample MARC file will be attached to the bug report with one of
each type of record. Import the records and search your catalog for
"Bug_21518."
- View the records in search results and their detail pages, both in
the OPAC and the staff client. In all cases the correct material type
icon should be displayed.

This patch removes the "type" attribute from <script> tags one
cataloging and one authorities template.
To test, apply the patch and confirm that examples of affected pages
work properly without any JavaScript errors in the browser console:
- Cataloging -> Cataloging home page
- Cataloging -> Cataloging home page -> Search results
- Authorities -> New authority -> New from Z39.50/SRU
Validating the HTML source of any of these pages should return no errors
related to the "type" attribute.

To prevent endless processing errors.
To test:
* create a biblio with a publisher with a backslash - i.e. 260$b with
graham\lineham
* do an item search that will include that title in the results
* wait forever, because it won't work.
* apply this patch
* repeat steps, notice that you
a. get results
b. your result is listed with it's correct publisher
* rejoice
