This simple patch removes 'just in case' handling of specific exceptions
and makes the current routes controllers use the unhandled_exception helper.
Most possible exceptions are already catch by our tools (Koha::Object,
etc) and the existing code is not looking for known possible exceptions
but has just been copied and pasted since our beginings.
Anytime a situation in which an unhandled exception is caught, we (the
devs) should report it and specific exception handling discussed and
solved. But this has just been useless scaffolding so far.
To test:

The main point of this patch is to make it possible to integrate Koha
with the Norwegian national patron database (NNPDB). Code for this was
earlier introduced in Bug 11401 and removed again in Bug 21068.
To test this is mainly a question of spotting regressions, it should
still be possible to set and change a password in all possible ways:
- Setting a password for a new user
- Changing a password in the staff client
- Changing a password in the OPAC
If these work as expected, everything should be OK.
A nice side effect of this work is that it will allow for plugins that
validate passwords. I have created a tiny plugin that enforces PIN
codes of 4 digits. (Yeah, I know, those are the worst passwords, but
some libraries do require them.) It is published here:

To test this way, install the plugin and try to change the password
of an exsisting user to something that is not a 4 digit PIN. You
should get an error that says "The password was rejected by a plugin".

This patch adds an endpoint in thi api in /api/v1/clubs/{club_id}/holds whith the verb POST that maps to Koha::REST::V1::Clubs::Holds#add controller.
Classes for club_holds and club_holds_to_patron_holds new tables where also added.
To test:
1) Reach SUCCESS.3 test point of previous patch with club that has no enrollments
2) Click on "Place Hold"
SUCCESS => an alert should appear that you cannot place hold on a club without patrons
3) Reach SUCCESS.3 test point of previous patch with club that has enrollments
4) Click on "Place Hold"
SUCCESS => holds priority list should appear with holds for every patron in club
5) Repeat steps 3 and 4.
SUCCESS => new holds should appear in different order

This patch ties in the cash registers system to the paycollect payment
pages in the staff client.
Test plan:
1) Add some manual fees to a test patron
2) Select some fees to pay off
3) Note the addition of a select box for selecting your cash register
upon payment.
4) Set a branch default cash register for the current branch
5) Repeat step 3 and note that the pre-selected cash register is the one
set in step 4.
6) Unset the branch default cash register for the current branch
7) Repeat step 3 and note that there is no cash register pre-selected
8) Set 'UseCashRegisters' to 'Do not'
9) Repeat step 3 and note that there is no longer an option to select a
cash register

This adds the ability to set a cash register as the default selected
option when making payments at a particular branch.
1) Note the addition of a 'Make branch default' button in each row of
the table under 'Manage cash registers'
2) Click the button and note that the button has changed.
3) Click on an alternative cash register for the same branch and note
that the default has been switched to the new register.
4) Click the 'unset' button on the default branch and note that there is
no longer a default register for this branch.

This patch adds checks on the values for the 'relationship'. This is
done to avoid future problems when migrating relationships from the
plain text syspref into (why not) a proper table. And to preserve
consistency.
There's also catching on possible broken constraints and throwing a new
exception
Tests are added for both the new exceptions and the changes to
Koha::Patron::Relationship.

Puts delete loop in a txn_do.
Raises Koha::Exceptions::Patron::Delete when Patron->delete does not return
true (like 0 or -1).
Unit test adjusted accordingly.

This patch adds plugins the capability of injecting new routes on the
API.
The plugins should provide the following methods to be considered valid API-generating plugins:
- 'api_routes': returning the 'path' component of the OpenAPI specification corresponding to the routes served by the plugin
- 'api_namespace': it should return a namespace to be used for grouping the endpoints provided by the plugin
otherwise, they will be just skipped.
All plugin-generated routes will be added the 'contrib' namespace, and
will end up placed inside /contrib/<namespace>, where <namespace> is what the 'api_namespace' returns.
A sample endpoint will be added to the Kitchen Sink plugin, and tests
are being written.

We shouldn't have it overloaded on the base class, as it could get huge
and difficult to find things, and read.
This patch moves things to Koha::Exceptions::Object. We should overload
the full_message method on each exceptions class, as needed.

I was working on bug 20580 and noticed that the exceptions are not
stringified and so not really useful when displayed in string context.
This patch is for discussion and not ready for inclusion
Still need to fix:
Koha/REST/V1/Patrons.pm (The error is "Given xxx does not exist")
Koha/Object.pm: in ->store, Koha::Exceptions::Object::FKConstraint is
raised but we cannot set 'value'
Another note: In Koha::Exceptions::Exception I do not have access to
$self->line_number and $self->filename

This patch removes previously added validation code from Koha::Patron
as we will rely on the DB structure and relationships to catch the same
problems. This is implemented on bug 19828.
This patch also adapts the API controller class to expect this behaviour
change from Koha::Patron. The expected exceptions are adjusted, and some
minor changes take place. The API tests are adjusted as well.

flag. This should go into pending patron modification status and
needs to be accepted by a librarian.
Please note there is no validation of body input in PUT/POST other

This patch introduces a try/catch block in store() and parses the error
when an exceptional situation takes place.
It only deals with FK constraint violations and duplicate IDs. The rest of the DBIC exceptions
are rethrown.

This patch adds a new statuc function to Koha::SearchEngine::ElasticSearch
which is instended to replace most of get_elasticsearch_params. This function
reads the configuration from C4::Context->config('elasticsearch') and raises
relevant exceptions when mandatory entries are missing.
Its behaviour is covered by tests.

5/ This patch makes Koha::Illrequest->load_backend raise an exception
if the passed backend is invalid. This way we will catch more errors introduced.
The patch also disables the 'New Ill request' when no backends are available. Gets
rid of a related warnings.
Both OPAC and Intranet now display a warning message when no backends
are available.
Tests are added for the load_backend changes.
4/ This patch fixes the path for the checkboxes jquery plugin, and removes the include
for tablesorter, as this implementation uses Datatables. This is obviously code for older
Koha, ported to master.
TODO: There's something wrong on the styling. My idea is to get rid
of the custom column visualization tool, and have it display as regular
DataTables. We can then introduce the use of colvis on a separate bug
report.
Note: POD coverage for the exceptions file is wrongly tested. It is a false positive.

This patch introduces a Koha::Patron::Attribute->store method that does
the required check for the corresponding Koha::Patron::Attribute::Type
and raises an exception if trying to store more than one unique
attribute code/value combination, and another exception for
non-repeatable attribute types being stored while already existing on
the DB.
This patch introduces exception definitions for that purpose.

This patch makes Koha::Patron::Modification aware of the new extended_attributes
column, which is expected to contain valid JSON data.
The ->store method is modified so it validates the field value (i.e. the content
is decoded using the JSON library) and raises a convenient exception in case of
failure.
This behaviour change is covered by the provided unit tests.

This patch makes Koha::Object raise exceptions in the following
situations:
- When a non existent accessor is called
- When a non existent property is tried to be updated using ->set
On implementing this change, we introduce Koha::Exceptions::Object class
to contain all Koha::Object-specific exception definitions.
Unit tests for this change are introduced in
