Until now, there was only "General" and "Privacy". This patch
breaks the "General" prefs up into multiple sections.
To test:
- Go to Administration > Patrons
- Verify the current state of things
- Apply patch
- Reload patch
- Verify headings make sense and groups make sense as well

Librarians should be able to define what sections in member entryfields in 'Main address',
'Contact' and 'Alternate contact' in member entry form for guarantee's are pre-filled from guarantor's record
The 'Guarantor surname, 'Guarantor first name' and 'relationship' fields
in the 'Contact' section should not be filled from guarantor patron
record as those fields are intended for guarantor's without patron
records in Koha.
Test plan:
1. On an adult patron's record (which has all fields filled out in the
'Main address', 'Contact' (Except for 'Guarantor surname', 'Guarantor
first name', and 'relationship'), 'Alternate address', and 'Alternate contact') select 'Add guarantee'
2. Observe:
* Fields in 'Main address' are all automatically pre-filled
from guarantor record
* Fields in 'Contact' (except 'Guarantor surname', 'Guarantor firstname'
and 'relationship') are all automatically pre-filled from guarantor
record
* Fields in 'Alternate address' (except for Contact note) are pre-filled from guarantor record
* None of the fields in 'Alternate contact' are pre-filled from guarantor
4. Apply patch
5. Run database updates

sudo koha-shell <instancename>
./updatedatabase.pl
6. Restart plack:
sudo koha-plack --restart <instancename>
7. Go to Administration > Global system preferences and search for the
new PrefillGuaranteeField system preference
8. Observe this syspref contains checkboxes and the following are
selected by default:
Contact - Primary email
Contact - Primary phone
Main address - Address
Main address - City
Main address - Country
Main address - State
Main address - ZIP/Postal code
Main address - street number
Please note: 'Contact - Guarantor surname', 'Contact - Guarantor first
name', Contact - relationship' are not in PrefillGuaranteeField syspref
as they are for non Koha patrons and so should not be pre-filled from a Koha
patron.
9. Repeat step 1 and observe the following fields are prefilled from guarantor:
In Main address section -
streetnumber
address
city
state
zipcode/postal code
country
In Contact section -
Primary phone
Primary email
10. In the PrefillGuaranteeField syspref click '[Select all]' checkboxes
11. Repeat step 1 and observe all fields in 'Main address', 'Contact'
(except Guarantor surname, Guarantor first name, and relationship),
Alternate address and Alterate contact are filled from guarantor record.
i.e. The values in guarantor's 'Alternate address' fields fill the
guarantee's 'Alternate address' fields
12. Change a few of the prefilled field values and 'Save' and observe your changes
have been saved in addition to the unaltered pre-filled values in other
fields
13. Amend PrefillGuarantee field syspref to have no checkboxes selected
14. Repeat step 1 and observe none of the fields in Main address,
Contact, Alternate address and Alternate contact are pre-filled
15. Run tests:

There were several versions: auto renew, auto-renew, autorenew
I've decided to use auto renew (from automatic renewal) to keep

This patches adds a syspref - HideFieldsAddPatronFrom - that controls
which fieldsets are hidden by default in the add patron form.
To test:
1) Apply patch and update database
2) Go to System preferences and confirm HideFieldsPatronAddForm has no
fields selected
3) Go to add a patron / edit an existing patron (any patron category).
confirm everything still works as expected.
4) Tick some of the fields in the syspref to hide them in the form
5) Go back to add patron form.
6) Confirm these fields are hidden and listed at the top of the page
7) Toggle the checkbox and confirm the hidden fields show or hide as
expected.
8) Go back to the HideFieldsPatronAddForm system preference and ensure
the Main address option is checked to be hidden
9) Go to the patron's details page
10) Click to edit the Contact Information section
11) Confirm the Main address option shows and the checkbox to show
hidden fields is not present.
12) Confirm you can click the legend of each section to show and hide
sections

This patch preserves the current dropdown choices for patron search and adds fields from
the DefaultPatronSearchFields system preference

This patch adds two preferences
1. AllowPatronToSetFinesVisibilityForGuarantor: Allow/Don't allow patrons to choose their own privacy settings for showing the patron's fines to the patron's guarantor
2. AllowStaffToSetFinesVisibilityForGuarantor: Allow/Don't allow staff to set the ability for a patron's fines to be viewed by linked patrons in the OPAC
Also adds a tinyint, non nullable, default to 0 column in borrower and deletedborrower named privacy_guarantor_fines.
1. privacy_guarantor_fines = 0 => don't allow guarantor to see guarantee's fines
2. privacy_guarantor_fines = 1 => allow guarantor to see guarantee's fines
To test:
1) git reset --hard master
2) apply patches (including dependencies)

This patch adds a new system preference (FallbackToSMSIfNoEmail)
which if enabled Koha will send suggestion notices by SMS if a borrower
has a defined SMSalertnumber and no email.
The use of the syspref prevents automatic fallback to sending suggestion notices as SMS when there's no defined email.
Test plan:
1. Chose a patron who has no email address set, but does have a
smsalertnumber set (this value is set in the Patron messaging
preferences section after the SMSSendDriver syspref is set)
2. Log into the OPAC with that user and submit a suggestion
3. In the staff client go to Acquisitions->Suggestions and tick the
suggestion and set its status to 'Accepted'
4. In the database query the message_queue and notice the
message_transport_type of the message is set to 'email' even though the
patron has no email address set.
5. Apply patches, restart memcached and plack
6. Check the 'FallbackToSMSIfNoEmail' syspref
is disabled
7. Repeat steps 2,3 and observe in the message_queue
table the message_transport_type = 'email'
i.e. If the syspref is disabled then the message is still sent by email
to borrowers with defined smsalertnumber and no email address
8. Enable the 'FallbackToSMSIfNoEmail' syspref
and repeat steps 2,3 and notice the
message_transport_type = 'sms'
i.e. If the syspref is enabled then the message is sent by sms to

This patchset prevents users to enter too leak password, controlled by
a new syspref RequireStrongPassword. If set the staff and patrons will have
to enter a strong password.
The strongness cannot be modified, it has been arbitrarily set (by the
author of this enhancement) to at least 1 lowercase, 1 uppercase and 1
digit. This can be inforce by increasing the value of the existing
minPasswordLength pref.
I decided to turn this feature on, it cannot hurt! For existing installs
it will have to be turned on manually.
Writing these patches I found a lot of inconsistencies all around the
password checks and decided to refactor everything to make things
consistent and more robust.
Now the password validity is check at only one place (subroutine
covered by tests).
Test plan:
We have several places where a password can be change/created:
a. Editing a patron (members/memberentry.pl)
b. Changing the password of a patron (members/member-password.pl)
c. Changing your own password at the opac (opac/opac-passwd.pl).
OpacPasswordChange needs to be set
d. Reseting your own password at the opac
(opac/opac-password-recovery.pl). OpacResetPassword needs to be set,
see "Forgot your password?" link when you are not logged in
e. Self registration feature, PatronSelfRegistration needs to be set.
You will also need to add 'password' to PatronSelfRegistrationBorrowerMandatoryField.
Note that '****' is considered by Koha internally that the password is
not changed (existing behavior).
To fully test this patch you will need to test the different
combinations of RequireStrongPassword and minPasswordLength.

The link to the columns' tables is now

borrowers.cardnumber is a varchar(16), so CardnumberLength should not
have a max > 16
Test plan:
Test different value in CardnumberLength ("20", "20,30", "40,")
Edit a patron a make sure the text display under the cardnumber input is
correct

Test plan
1) Apply the patch
2) Go to system preferences and find the BorrowerRenewalPeriodBase and note there is new option "the later of current and expiry date"
3) Try all three options and confirm they work as expected
3.1) The new options should be tested et least with two patrons - one with expiry date in past and one with expiry date in future

This patch adds a new syspef 'DefaultPatronSearchFields' which defines
the fields that should be used when searching for a patron if none are
defined.
To test:
1 - Aply patch, updatedatabase
2 - Ensure patron search has not changed
3 - Add dateofbirth to new pref
4 - Ensure things work wll
5 - Experiment with adding and removing other fields from borrowers
table
6 - prove t/db_dependent/Utils/Datatables_Members.t
Tested together with followup. Works as described.

New feature: provide granular means to configure warnings about items
that have been issued to a particular borrower before, according to
their checkout history.
- Global syspref ('CheckPrevCheckout'), set to 'hardno' by default,
allows users to enable this feature library wide.
- Per patron category pref allows libraries to create overrides per
category, falling back on the global setting by default.
- Per patron pref allows switching the functionality on at the level
of patron. Fall-back to category settings by default.
* Koha/Patron (wantsCheckPrevCheckout, doCheckPrevCheckout): New
methods.
* C4/Circulation.pm (CanBookBeIssued): Introduce CheckPrevCheckout
check.

category pages if the syspref is set to a 'hard' option.
- Verify 'Check previous checkouts' setting appears on the borrower
category pages and can be modified per borrower category.
+ Issue previously issued items to a borrower, checking the message
appears as expected (This setting should override the default
setting if that is set to a 'soft' option).
- Verify no 'Check previous checkouts' setting appears on the individual
borrower pages if the syspref is set to a 'hard' option.
- Verify 'Check previous checkouts' setting appears on individual
borrower pages and can be modified.

This patch adds a new system preference:
PatronQuickAddFields
When either this pref or BorrowerMandatoryField is populated this will add a new dropdown to the bew patron toolbar.
When a category is chosen from this dropdown the fields in PatronQuickAddFields and BorrowerMandatoryField will be displayed.
There will be a button allowing a user to switch from the quickadd to the full form and fields will be copied between the forms when toggling.
The Quick add will only be displayed on add of a new patron, future edits should display the full form.
Test plan:
1 - Apply patch
2 - run updatedatabase.pl
3 - Add a new patron and ensure nothing has changed
4 - Populate either PatronQuickAddFields or BorrowerMandatory fields
and note the new button for adding a patron
5 - Click the Quick add and choose a type
6 - Only required or quick add fields should be displayed
7 - Verify toggling forms copies information
8 - Ensure you cannot save patron without filling required fields
(quick add fields should be optional)
9 - Ensure you can save patron with fields filled out
10 - Ensure that a duplicate patron brings up the duplicate/add new
buttons with full form displayed
11 - Verify that subsequent edits use only full form
12 - Verify that data on form submitted is the data saved to patron
13 - Test with various values in both MandatoryBorrowerFields and PatronQuickAddFields

3) Enable EnhancedMessagingPreferences preference;
4) On the OPAC -> user's settings, validate "your messaging" is not
showed.
