This patch moves translatable strings out of catalog-strings.inc into
catalog.js, wrapped in the double-underscore function for
translation.
To test that each affected string correctly appears in the interface:
- View the details for a bibliographic record which has items attached.
- From the Edit menu, choose "Delete record." You should get an alert,
"X item(s) are attached to this record. You must delete all items
before deleting this record."
- From the Edit menu, choose "Delete all items." You should get an
alert, "Are you sure you want to delete the X attached items?"
- When logged in as a user with acquisitions and cataloging privileges,
view the details for a bibliographic record which is used in an order
in Acquisitions. Delete any items attached.
- Choose "Delete record" from the Edit menu. You should get an alert,
"Warning: This record is used in X order(s). Deleting it could cause
serious issues on acquisition module. Are you sure you want to delete
this record?"
- In Acquisitions, view a basket containing orders. Cancel the
order for a title in the basket. Open the detail page for the title in
the cancelled order. Try to delete it. You should get an confirmation,
"X deleted order(s) are using this record. Are you sure you want to
delete this record?"
- Perform the same test as a user with cataloging but not acquisitions
privileges. The alert should say "X deleted order(s) are using this
record. You need order managing permissions to delete this record."
- When logged in as a user with cataloging but not acquisitions
privileges, view the details for a bibliographic record which is used
in an order in Acquisitions. Delete any items attached.
- Choose "Delete record" from the Edit menu. You should get an alert, "X
order(s) are using this record. You need order managing permissions to
delete this record."
- View the details for a bibliographic record which has a hold.
- Choose "Delete all items" from the Edit menu. You should get an alert,
"X hold(s) on this record. You must delete all holds before deleting
all items."
- View the details for a bibliographic record which has no items.
- Choose "Delete record" from the Edit menu. You should get an alert,
"Are you sure you want to delete this record?"
- Choose "Edit items in a batch" from the Edit menu. You should get an
alert, "This record has no items."
I could not find any instance of the PopupZ3950Confirmed function in
catalog.js being triggered so I don't think the associated string can be
tested.
TESTING TRANSLATABILITY
- Update a translation, e.g. fr-FR:
> cd misc/translator
> perl translate update fr-FR
- Open the corresponding .po file for JavaScript strings, e.g.
misc/translator/po/fr-FR-messages-js.po
- Locate strings pulled from
koha-tmpl/intranet-tmpl/prog/js/catalog.js for
translation, e.g.:
msgid "This record has no items."
msgstr ""
- Edit the "msgstr" string however you want (it's just for
testing).
- Install the updated translation:
> perl translate install fr-FR
- Switch to your newly translated language in the staff client
and repeat the test plan above. The translated strings should
appear.

This patch moves the definition of translatable strings out of
additem.js.inc and into additem.js using the new JS i81n function.
additem.js.inc is removed, being obsolete.
To test:
When creating an order:
- Go to Administration -> System preferences and set "AcqCreateItem" to
"when placing an order."
- Apply the patch and go to Acquisitions -> Vendor -> Add to basket ->
From a new (empty) record.
- In the "Item" section, confirm that the buttons at the bottom of the
form are correct: "Add item," "Clear," and "Add multiple items."
- Click "Add multiple items." The placeholder in the revealed form field
should read "Number of items to add." The corresponding button should
be labeled "Add."
- You should see a note, "NOTE: Fields listed in the 'UniqueItemsFields'
system preference will not be copied."
- Fill out the item entry form and add a number to the "multiple items"
field. Click "Add."
- A table of items should be displayed with "Edit" and "Delete" buttons
for each new item.
- Click one of the "Edit" buttons. The item form should be populated
with the item's data, with an "Update item" button at the bottom.
When receiving an order:
- Go to Administration -> System preferences and set "AcqCreateItem" to
"when receiving an order."
- Go to Acquisitions -> Vendor -> Receive shipments.
- Select or create an invoice.
- Click "Receive" on an order which has a quantity greater than 1.
- Add two items, duplicating in each at least one value which is marked
as unique by the "UniqueItemFields" system preference (e.g. fill in
the same barcode number for each item).
- Click "Save." You should get an alert about duplicated values, and
there should be an alert message on the page, "barcode 'XXX' is
duplicated."
- Edit one of the two items and change the barcode to one which already
exists in your database.
- Click "Save." An alert message should be shown on the page, "barcode
'XXX' already exists in the database."
- Note: I was unable to find out how to trigger this error, "You can't
receive any more items." It may be obsolete.
TESTING TRANSLATABILITY
- Update a translation, e.g. fr-FR:
> cd misc/translator
> perl translate update fr-FR
- Open the corresponding .po file for JavaScript strings, e.g.

Selecting "main address" city or "alternate address" city does not trigger the automatic population of values to the city, state, and zip fields anymore.
It woks for "alternate contact".
Test plan :
1) Create some cities with all datas : city, state, zip code and country
2) Open patron creation form
3) On "main address", select a city in combobox
4) Check city, state, zip code and country are filled
5) Same with "alternate address"

When creating a new purchase suggestion, all funds display and are available for selection.
The behaviour of this drop-down menu should mirror that of those drop-down menus elsewhere in acquisitions,
where only funds that are linked to active budgets display to the user.
This patch add the active switch based on what exists in acqui/invoice.tt and acqui/invoice.pl.
Looks like actually in suggestion.pl budgets list was fetches with GetBudgets().
But this is for the filter in 'Acquisition information'.
Budgets selection on suggestion creation/edition must use GetBudgetHierarchy(), like in acqui/invoice.pl,
in order to have the actif status.
Test plan :
1) Create a budget periods active B1 with a fund F1
2) Create a budget periods inactive B2 with a fund F2
3) Go to suggestions module
4) Create a new suggestion
5) Check you see only active fund F1
6) Click on 'Show inactive'
7) Check you see also 'F2 (inactive)'
8) Choose fund F1 and save
9) Select the suggestion and edit
10) Check fund F1 is selected
11) Come back to suggestion table
12) Check filter 'Book fund' under 'Acquisition information' contains all funds

For 780 and 785 the field should not display when the first indicator
is 1. After checking the code, I found that 785 in staff was missing.
This patches fixes that one.
To test:
- Catalog a record with 785 and 780 fields with one 1st indicator set to
0 and another to 1.
- Verify in staff and OPAC detail pages that only the fields with 0 display.

This patch builds on Caitlin's to finish the work but keeping as
much from her code as possible.
- Finishes reindenting started in first patch
- Readds a space after the label
- Moves $i to the beginning of the field as suggested by MARC21
documentation:
http://www.loc.gov/marc/bibliographic/bd76x78x.html
The data in subfield $i can be displayed preceding the other
data contained in the field.
- Adds a span with a class around the $i so people can control
the formatting
To test:
- Catalog a record with 780/785 with and without $i.
- Verify that they display nicely in staff and OPAC, $i should show.
Also $a and $t will show (unchanged by this patch)

Test Plan
1: Inside Administration go to MARC bibliographic framework and on the
default framework under Actions click on MARC structure
2: Search for 780 under search tag and under actions click subfields
3: Find i and click on edit.
4: Under Advanced Constraints select editor and save the changes.
5: Repeat for 785.
6: Find a Bibliograpical record and under Edit select edit record.
7: Under the 7 put values into 780 and 785. For this to work it is
dependant on the patch 17929 so that you can type into the indicators
8: When you save the changes you won't be able to see 780 or 785 on the
Bibliographical details
8: Apply the patch
9: Refresh and 780 and 785 should be there at the bottom under the

Before this patch the order receive page (parcel.pl) would show
... Received by: <current user> On: <current date>
This is not really helpful. Whenever you viewed an invoice, it
would tell you it was _you_ who received that _today_.
As we don't store a creator of an invoice and the order lines
in an invoice could have been received by different people (which
we also don't know about), the "Received by" is removed by this patch.
Instead of today's date, we can show the shipment date entered for
the invoice. Again: different order lines could have been received
on different dates for this shipment. So only the shipment date makes
sense as it's on invoice level.
This also makes changes to the page title, breadcrumby and page heading:
When the invoice is closed, they will read:
Receipt summary for [vendor] ...
When the invoice is not closed, they wil read:
Receive orders from [vendor] ...
To test:
- Create a basket with some orders in acq
- Close the basket
- Receive shipment and create an invoice
- Make sure shipment date is not set to today
- Verify the information shown on top of parcel.pl is you and today
- Change staff users
- Go to your invoice, it's now this user and today
- Apply patch
- Received by: should be gone and the On: replaced by Shipment date:
with the date you selected
- Check the page title, breadcrumbs and headings read all the same 'Receive orders...'
- Finish receiving and close the invoice
- "Go to receipt page"
- Verify they now read "Receipt summary.."
If you have older invoices in your system, it would work
even better with these as you'd see that always today's date
is displaying without the patch.

Updated to only show one barcode number, with either an "only" or an "or any available" depending on whether it's an item or bib hold.
Also incorporating feedback to simplify the TT logic and remove list formatting.

6 - You can now grab the correct item (but don't yet)
7 - Place a next available hold on the same title

Add a "year" search field type. Fields with this type will only
retain values that looks like years, so invalid values such as
whitespace or word characters will not be indexed.
This for instance improves the behaviour when sorting by
"date-of-publication". If all values are indexed, records with
junk data instead of valid years will appear first among the search
results, drowning out more relevant hits. If assigning this field
the "year" type these records will instead always appear last,
regarless of sort order.
To test:
1) Have at least two biblios, one with a valid year in 008 (pos 7-10)
and another with an invalid one ("uuuu" for example)
2) Perform a wildcard search (*) and sort results by publication date.
3) The record with invalid year of pulication in 008 should appear first
4) Apply patch and run database updates
5) Reindex ElasticSearch
6) Perform the same search as in 2)
7) The record with the invalid year should now appear last

It appears that through various rebases the variable names in the form
and the controller script have become mismatched. This patch corrects
the situation and clarifies their intended use.
Test plan:
1/ Turn on cash registers in sysprefs
2/ Define at least 2 cash registers in Admin
3/ Create a manual invoice on a patron
4/ Pay off half of your fee, selecting the first register
5/ Pay off the remaining fee, selecting the second register
6/ Query accountlines.register_id for your two payments
8/ Confirm the two accountlines.register_id's do not match (thus the
passed variable was used)

This patch adds the capability to override minPasswordLenth and RequireStrongPassword settings by category
To test:
1. koha-shell kohadev
2. koha-mysql kohadev
3. drop database koha_kohadev;
4. create database koha_kohadev;
5. go to admin page and start webinstaller. There continue the steps until onboarding.
6. reach step 3 of onboarding and create a new administrator patron
CHECH => Password control woks as normal (Minimum length 3 and strong required)
7. finish Koha installation and enter admin with your new administrator
8. set minPasswordLength to 3 and RequireStrongPassword to “Don’t require”
9. Create a new category (CAT2 from now on.. CAT1 is the category you made in onboarding process) and set minimum password length to 8 and require strong password
10. Create two new patrons, one with CAT1(patron1) and one with CAT2 (patron2)
CHECK => In both cases, try different combinations of length and strength. For patron1 the only requirement is to have 3 letters, but for patron2 the minimum length will be 8 and will require strong password.
CHECK => Try changing patron category before saving. Password requirements will change with category change.
11. Edit CAT1 and set minimum password length to 5
12. Go to patron1 details page, and change password.
CHECH => Now password minimum length is 5, but still it doesn’t require strong password
13. Edit CAT1, leave blank minimum password length and set require strong password to yes.
14. Go to patron1 details page, and change password.
CHECH => Password minimum length is back to 3, but now strong password is required
15. Set minimum password length in CAT2 to 12.
16. Go to patron2 details page, and click to fill a random generated password
CHECK => generated password should be 12 characters length
17. Set PatronSelfRegistration to Allow in admin settings
18. Go to OPAC and fill self registration from.
CHECK => Play with patron category. For each change in category, password requirements are modified.
CHECK => Set CAT1 as patron category, set ‘aA1’ as password (or another valid password for CAT1) and before hitting submit button, change to CAT2. Form should enter invalid state, and CAT2 password requirements should be displayed as error in password input.
19. Create a patron for CAT1 and another for CAT2, leaving password blank
CHECK => For CAT1’s patron, generated password length is 8 (minimum length for generated passwords), but for CAT2’s patron should be 12
20. In admin set PatronSelfRegistrationVerifyByEmail to require
21. Fill self registration form again with CAT2 as category
CHECK => Password requirements works as previous case.
22. Leave password blank and click submit
23. select * from message_queue;
24. Copy the link in the message and paste it in OPAC
CHECH => Generated password is 12 characters long. (Copy user id for next steps)
25. In admin set OpacResetPassword to Allow
26. Go back to OPAC, reload and click on “Forgot password?” link
27. Paste user id and click submit
28. Repeat steps 23 and 24
CHECK => Info message says “Your password must contain at least 12 characters, including UPPERCASE, lowercase and numbers.”
CHECK => enter an invalid password and you’ll get the same message in warning.
29. Login OPAC with the last user and your newly created password
30. Go to “Change your password” option
CHECK => Info message says “Your password must contain at least 12 characters, including UPPERCASE, lowercase and numbers.”
CHECK => enter an invalid password and you’ll get the same message in below “New password” input.

Currently, Koha is not correctly validating SMS numbers using
E.164. This causes Australian phone numbers without a country code
to fail validation.
This patch uses the E.164 pattern of 1-3 digits for country code,
prefixed by a + symbol, and followed by up to 12 digits for
the remainder of the phone number.

There are 2 pages where one can change the Koha to MARC mappings in Koha:
- When editing the configuration for a MARC subfield
- On administration > Koha 2 MARC mappings
This patch adds a warning that the batchRebuildBiblioTables script
must be run if the mapping is changed.
To test:
- Go to Administration > MARC bibliographic frameworks >
Any framework > MARC structure > Any field > Edit subfield
- ÃThe hint about the batchRebuildBiblioTables will be on "Link"
instead of "Koha Link". This is wrong as the link doesn't care
about the mappings.
- Go to Administration > Koha to MARC mappings
- Verify there is no hint
- Apply patch
- Verify both pages now show an appropriate message

This patch updates the basic MARC editor to provide a plugin name
variable to the template, allowing us to make a check on the name and
conditionally show an upload link if the "upload.pl" cataloging plugin
is selected.
To test, apply the patch and rebuild the staff client CSS
(https://wiki.koha-community.org/wiki/Working_with_SCSS_in_the_OPAC_and_staff_client).
- Go do Administration -> MARC bibliographic framework -> MARC
structure -> 856 -> Edit subfields.
- Edit the "u" subfield and select "upload.pl" as the plugin under
"Other options."
- Go to Cataloging and create or edit a MARC record.
- Under tab 8 look for the 856 tag, subfield u. There should be an
"Upload" link corresponding to the form field.
- Click the upload link to confirm that it triggers a popup window with
the upload form.
- Confirm that other similar plugin links (for instance 100$a, 600$a)
display the old "tag editor" icon.

This patch updates the version of Bootstrap in the OPAC from 2.3.1 to
4.5.0. The Bootstrap JavaScript files have been replaced with custom
builds of the 4.5.0 JavaScript source files. The Bootstrap CSS is now
built into the OPAC CSS by loading the required Bootstrap 4.5.0 SCSS
files in node_modules.
OPAC SCSS now starts with Bootstrap customizations:
/* Bootstrap variable customizations */
$headings-color: #727272;
...
Followed by loading the necessary Bootstrap SCSS files:
/* Bootstrap imports */
@import "../../../../../node_modules/bootstrap/scss/functions";
@import "../../../../../node_modules/bootstrap/scss/variables";
...
Followed by our CSS. The build process for generating compiled CSS now
creates a file which bundles Bootstrap CSS and ours. Removed from the
Koha source: Bootstrap CSS files, Bootstrap "glyphicons" images.
The upgrade to Bootstrap 4 involved a lot of markup changes to conform
with new Bootstrap classes, especially in classes related to the grid.
Besides duplicating the grid we used before, this upgrade adds some new
features made possible by Bootstrap 4.5's use of flexbox as a layout
tool. This includes custom ordering of columns based on class names:
https://getbootstrap.com/docs/4.5/layout/grid/#order-classes.
Other areas where the most changes have been made: Navigation menus,
breadcrumb menus, buttons, dropdowns.
Bootstrap's JavaScript file is now "bootstrap.bundle.min.js" to reflect
the fact that a required JavaScript asset is now distributed separately
in Bootstrap 4. The "bundle" version includes Popper.js.
Unrelated changes: Indentation corrections, removal of invalid
"//<![CDATA[" markers, removal of invalid script type attributes.
To test, apply the patch and run 'yarn install' to install Bootstrap as
an npm module. Run 'yarn build --view opac' to regenerate the OPAC CSS.
Test as many aspect of the OPAC as possible, viewing pages at various
browser widths to confirm that everything adjusts well. Test with
various OPAC interface system preferences enabled and disabled.
Test self checkout and self checkin.
Known issues: RTL support has not been updated.

Some library would like to delay the importing of invoices until
a time of their choosing. The invoices should be imported into
the database as they do now, but the invoice processing should
be skipped. Instead, any invoice file with a status of 'new'
should have an 'Import' button to process the invoice.
Test Plan:
1) Apply this patch
2) Run updatedatabase.pl
3) Enable the new syspref EdifactInvoiceImport
4) Run the edi cronjob to import a new invoice file
5) View EDI messages table at /acqui/edifactmsgs.pl
6) Note the invoice files is not processes, and retains the status of 'new'
7) Use the 'import' button to process the invoice
8) Note the invoice is now marked 'received' and the 'import' button is gone

Elasticsearch requires the booleans in search requests to
be uppercase. This fixes the "Show analytics" link in
OPAC (same as first patch for intranet) and the "Show volume"
link.
To test both patches:
Set UseControlNumber = Use
1) "Show analytics"
- Turn SearchEngine to Elasticsearch and make sure it works
- Pick any serial record in your database, make sure 001 is set
- Go to new > new child record
- Fill in 245 and save
- For both staff and OPAC:
- Click on the "In" link, it should bring you to the parent record
- Click on "Show analytics", it should show your analytical record
- Switch to "Zebra" - verify links still work.
2) "Show volumes"
- Turn SearchEngine to Elasticsearch again
- Pick any serial record in your database, make sure 001 is set
- Set LDR, pos. 19 = a - Set
- Note 001 value
- Find another record and edit it
- Set LDR, pos. 19 = a or b, LDR 7 not a or b (m will work)
- Set 773$ title of set record $w 001 of set record
- For both staff and OPAC:
- Click on the "In: link, it should bring up your set record
- Click on the "Show volumes" link, it should bring up the volume
- Switch to "Zebra" - verify all links still work.

This patch adds the ability to exclude patrons (by category) from local
holds, and items, by editing the item itself or by batch item
modification tool.
To test:
1. apply patches
2. updatedatabase
3. Enable LocalHoldsPriority preference, and leave
LocalHoldsPriorityPatronControl in pickup library, and
LocalHoldsPriorityItemControl in holding library.
4. Search for a biblio with one item.
5. Place a hold with a patron (patron1) and set pickup location to a different
library of the item's home library
6. Place another hold with another patron (patron2) and set pickup location to be
the same as the item's home library
7. ./misc/cronjobs/holds/build_holds_queue.pl
8. Go to circulation -> holds queue
9. Search by the item's home library
CHECK => only the hold for patron2 (with the pickup location the same as the
item's home library) appears in the table
10. Go back to the biblio details page and click on "Items" tab
CHECK => There is a new section in the item's details between "Statuses"
and "History" called "Priority"
11. Set exclude to "Yes" and update
12. repeat steps 7 to 9
SUCCESS => only the hold for patron1 now appears, even the other hold had local
hold priority
13. Repeat step 10 and 11 but this time set exclude to "No"
14. repeat steps 7 to 9
CHECK => the hold for patron2 is back
15. Edit patron2's category and set exclude from local holds priority to
"Yes"
16. Repeat steps 7 to 9
SUCCESS => the hold for patron1 is back
17. Go to tools -> Batch item modification and in barcode list place
several (existing) barcodes and press continue
CHECK => There is a new section in the bottom called "Priority"
18. Set exclude to "Yes" and save
SUCCESS => all items in the list now have exclude setted to "Yes"
19. Try to checkout the first item to a patron3
SUCCESS => Alert message appears saying that patron1 has a hold on that
item
20. Click on Yes and then checkin that item
SUCCESS => There is a modal window saying that a hold was found for
patron1
21. prove t/db_dependent/HoldsQueue.t t/db_dependent/Holds/LocalHoldsPriority.t

include file to be used by various bibliographic detail pages. The
variable is required by several JavaScript functions.
To test, apply the patch and locate or create a record with no items.
Open the labeled MARC view and choose Edit -> Delete record. Confirm the
deletion. The deletion should complete correctly.
Perform the same test with the detail view, ISBD view, MARC view, and

Bug 25534 adds the ability to store the cancellation reason when a hold
is cancelled and communicate it to the user. It would be great if the
cancellation reason could also be shown on the holds history.

5) Note the reason shows in the status column if one was provided

Some libraries would like to be able to cancel a hold with the option to
specify a reason. Providing a reason would generate an email to that
patron.
Test Plan:
1) Apply this patch
2) Run updatedatabase.pl
3) Restart all the things!
4) Create new AV category "HOLD_CANCELLATION", add some cancelation reasons
5) Add new Holds module notice "HOLD_CANCELLATION", add an email version.
A quick test version would be "Reason: <<reserves.cancellation_reason>>"
--
[% USE AuthorisedValues %]
Reason: [% AuthorisedValues.GetByCode( 'CANCELLATION_REASON', hold.cancellation_reason, 'IS_OPAC' ) %]
[% IF hold.cancellation_reason == "MY_AV_VALUE" %]
IF perhaps you'd like to have a much longer explanation than just the
one sentence in the AV description, you can use IF blocks using Template
Toolkit markup!
[% END %]
--
6) Place a hold for a patron
7) On request.pl, select the 'del' option for the hold
8) Select a cancellation reason and choose "Update hold(s)"
9) Note a new message has been queue for the patron with the cancelation reason
11) Test again from circulation.pl
12) Test again from moremember.pl
10) Cancel a hold with no reason, note no email is generated
11) Delete your authorised values, not the feature is disabled
12) Reinstate the authorised values, but delete the notice,
you should now be able to cancel a hold with a reason,
but no email will be generated

When lost items are not marked as returned, they are still subject to
the long overdue cron, so an item that has already been marked Lost may
automatically roll to Long Overdue. In some cases, a library may not
want that lost value to change. This becomes especially important with
the introduction of Claims Returned, which uses a variety of lost.
Test Plan:
1) Set up a long overdue item that would be moved to lost by longoverdue.pl
2) Run the cronjob with the new --skip-lost-value option
3) Note the item is not altered
4) Include that value in the new system preference DefaultLongOverdueSkipLostStatuses
5) Run the cronjob *without* the new option
6) Note the item is not altered
7) Run the cronjob again with the new command line option, but set it to
a different value so the item will be affected
8) Note the item is altered as it would have been before this patch was
applied

There is a "norequest" boolean passed to the include cat-toolbar.inc, to
display or not the "Pace hold" button.
This flag was not calculated in some place (ISBDdetail and moredetail
for instance)
Here we centralize the code to make it more robust and less regression
prone.
Note that the same problem appears at the OPAC (opac-MARCdetail is
always display the button). That will have to be fixed separately
Test plan:
Create biblio A with 0 item, B and C with 1 item and D with 2 items
item for B is not for loan, C is for loan and D has 1 of each
Go to the bibliographic detail page of each record and confirm that the
"Place hold" button appears appropriately.
Test the different tabs of the catalogue module
QA note: This patch is only centralizing the existing code, but it is
still too naive. To manage the visibility of this button we certainly
want to copy what is done in C4::Search::searchResults:
# can place a hold on a item if
# not lost nor withdrawn
# not damaged unless AllowHoldsOnDamagedItems is true
# item is either for loan or on order (notforloan < 0)
$can_place_holds = 1
if (
!$item->{itemlost}
&& !$item->{withdrawn}
&& ( !$item->{damaged} || C4::Context->preference('AllowHoldsOnDamagedItems') )
&& ( !$item->{notforloan} || $item->{notforloan} < 0 )
);

We do not longer need the order variables to be passed from the
controllers, we can call the methods on the biblio object instead.
There is something wrong with our ->search method and TT behaviours, it
is hard to retrieve object list in a scalar context.
If [% objects.method.count %] is called, objects.method will get the
first object of the list and count will explode (Koha::Object->count
does not exist)
We need to force the call in a scalar context to retrieve an iterator
and prevent to fetch all the objects (we could have called all then
size, but it's not efficient)
If adopted I will move the plugin on a separate bug report to ease
backport

This follow-up makes some markup and style improvements in order to make
the renew form more consistent with similar forms like checkout and
check-in.
It also adds a "Clear" button for the datepicker field, matching similar
date inputs.
To test, apply the patch and go to Circulation -> Renew.
- With or without the SpecifyDueDate system preference enabled the
form should look correct.
- With the SpecifyDueDate preference enabled you should see the date
form below the barcode input field.
- Select a date and test that the "Clear" button works to clear it.
- Compare to the check-in page to confirm that they look consistent
with each other.

This whole patch set adds the ability to create a new authorised value
directly from the cataloguing module.
It will prevent the cataloger to leave and reload the page if they need
a new one.
Test plan:
If you are logged in with a patron with the manage_authorised_values
subpermission you will be able to:
* Edit a bibliographic record
* Search for a subfield linked to an authorised values (not the "fake"
AV like itemtypes, branches, cn)
* Click the dropdown list and start searching for a value that does not
exist
* Click enter
* Fill the fields in the popup
* Save
=> Your dropdown list has the new AV :)

This patch makes to general changes. First, it makes some minor style
changes to the appearance of the dropdowns. Second, it moves the JS
content in select2.inc into a separate JS file. This is made possible by
Bug 21156.
To test, apply the patch and view a page which uses the Select2 library,
e.g. the add item screen. Confirm that the Select2-styled dropdowns look
good and work correctly.
TESTING TRANSLATABILITY
- Update a translation, e.g. fr-FR:
> cd misc/translator
> perl translate update fr-FR
- Open the corresponding .po file for JavaScript strings, e.g.
misc/translator/po/fr-FR-messages-js.po
- Locate strings pulled from
koha-tmpl/intranet-tmpl/prog/js/select2.js for translation,
e.g.:
msgid "No results found"
msgstr ""
- Edit the "msgstr" string however you want (it's just for
testing).
- Install the updated translation:
> perl translate install fr-FR
- Switch to your newly translated language in the staff client and
test a Select2-styled dropdown. Test that translated strings appear.
For example:
- Use the filter form to search for a string which isn't found. You
should see a translated version.
- Make a selection in one of the dropdowns. Hover your mouse over the
"X" icon which now appears. The tooltip should be a translated
version.

The way we defined the default values does not longer work (?)
Using
$.fn.select2.defaults.set
instead of
jQuery.extend($.fn.select2.defaults, {
fixes the problem.
It restores the allowClear setting.
There is a change in the behavior here, the selection opens when the
clear button is clicked. That is coming from a change in Select2
apparently. We may want to hack something to restore the precedent
behaviour.
This patch also removes the redefinition of the width. It seems that the
issue that this code was trying to correct is now fixed.

In some areas it's required to sequentially number payment slips /
receipts.
This patch adds a database column accountlines.credit_number and a
system preference AutoCreditNumber to control how this number will be
generated. The following options are available:
- Do not automatically generate credit numbers.
This is the current behaviour and the default syspref value.
- Automatically generate credit numbers in the form <year>-0001 (annual)
- Automatically generate credit numbers in the form
<branchcode>yyyymm0001 (branchyyyymmincr)
where <branchcode> is the branch where the user (staff member) is
