This patch updates the pending patron updates page to use Bootstrap
collapse instead of jQueryUI.
This patch contains whitespace changes, so view the diff with this in
mind.
To test, apply the patch and rebuild the staff client CSS
(https://wiki.koha-community.org/wiki/Working_with_SCSS_in_the_OPAC_and_staff_client).
- If necessary, log into the OPAC and submit an update via the "Your
personal details" page. Ideally do this for two or more patrons.
- In the staff client, follow the "Patrons requesting modifications"
link.
- On the "Update patron records" page you should see the headings
representing each of the patrons with pending updates. The first panel
should be expanded.
- Confirm that the panels expand and collapse correctly.
- Follow the "Patron details" link for one of these patrons.
- Click the "Review pending modifications" link on the patron detail
page.
- When the update page opens that patron's panel should be expanded.

This patch updates templates to include the new version of jQueryUI. It
removes some references to the now unused datepicker widget as well as
the jQuery timepicker addon.
Some minor JavaScript and style updates to fix issues resulting from the
upgrade.
To test, apply the patch and update the CSS in the staff interface AND
in the OPAC
(https://wiki.koha-community.org/wiki/Working_with_SCSS_in_the_OPAC_and_staff_client).
IN THE OPAC:
- The OPAC only uses the tabs jQueryUI widget.
- View pages where tabs are used: Bibliographic details, user summary,
advanced search.
IN THE STAFF INTERFACE:
- The staff interface uses four jQueryUI widgets: accordion,
autocomplete, sortable, and tabs
- Test the accordion widget on two pages: Administration -> Table
settings and Patrons -> Patrons requesting modifications.
- Test autocomplete (requires PatronAutoComplete to be enabled) on
various pages. For example:
- From the "Check out" tab in the header search box.
- From the "Search patrons" tab in the header search box, e.g. from
the main Patrons page.
- Place hold -> Search patrons.
- Tools -> Patron lists -> Add patrons to list -> Patron search.
- Test sortable:
- Administration -> System preferences -> Language.
- With more than one language installed you should be able to
drag to re-order the enabled languages. Confirm that your change
is saved successfully.
- Administration -> MARC bibliographic framework -> MARC structure ->
Edit subfields on a tag with multiple subfields. You should be able
to drag to re-order the tabs at the top of the subfield constraints
edit page. Confirm that your changes are saved successfully.
- Cataloging -> New record. Test that you can re-order subfields
under a tag with multiple subfields and that your changes are
saved.
- Tabs: View various pages with tabs: Check out, bibliographic details,
basic MARC editor. They're everywhere.
Also confirm that the removal of the leftover datepicker doesn't affect
pages which use the calendar include: Test various pages which use
Flatpickr, e.g. check out, renew, reports, etc.

This patch makes it possible to link directly to the correct panel on
the "Update patron records" page. The link on the checkout and patron
details screen has been updated to read "Patron has pending
modifications."
Also changed: Moved the "Patron's address in doubt" message so that it
is above the table of changed fields.
To test, apply the patch and if necessary submit patron modification
requests from multiple patrons via the OPAC.
- Open the checkout page for one of these patrons.
- If you are logged in as a user with permission to edit patron
records you should see a message, "Pending modifications: Review
pending modifications," which links to the pending modifications
page.
- Clicking the link should open the page for reviewing pending
patron modifications, and the correct panel should be
automatically expanded.
- If you are logged in as a user without permission to edit patrons
you should see the message "Pending modifications: Patron has
pending modifications," which isn't linked.
- The process should work exactly the same from the patron detail page.
- Following the "Pending modifications" link from the staff interface
home page or the patrons home page should work as before: The page
opens with the first panel expanded.

This patch has been generated with the script provided on bug 21576.
It only affects variable used in the href attribute of a link *when*
href it the first attribute of the node (grep "a href")

Why? Because we must filter the variables when we display them.
If we escape them on assignement, they will be double escaped:
[% XXX = "<span>pouet</span>" | html %]
[% XXX | html %]
=> <span>pouet</span>
Also it will bring trouble if we are assigning a structure (see bug
21663 for instance).

Here we go, next step then.
As we did not fix the performance issue when autofiltering
the variables (see bug 20975), the only solution we have is to add the
filters explicitely.
This patch has been autogenerated (using add_html_filters.pl, see next
pathces) and add the html filter to all the variables displayed in the
template.
Exceptions are made (using the new 'raw' TT filter) to the variable we
already listed in the previous versions of this patch.
To test:
- Use t/db_dependent/Koha/Patrons.t to populate your DB with autogenerated
data which contain <script> tags
- Remove them from borrower_debarments.comments (there are allowed here)
update borrower_debarments set comment="html tags possible here";
- From the interface hit page and try to catch alert box.
If you find one it means you find a possible XSS.
To know where it comes from:
* note the exact URL where you found it
* note the alert box content
* Dump your DB and search for the string in the dump to identify its
location (for instance table.field)
Next:
* Ideally we would like to use the raw filter when it is not necessary
to HTML escape the variables (in big loop for instance)
* Provide a QA script to catch missing filters (we want html, uri, url
or raw, certainly others that I am forgetting now)
* Replace the html filters with uri when needed (!)

Code and variables to deal with the update child feature are not
centralized but copied/pasted in several scripts. Which leads to issues
obsviously (bug 20805 for instance).
Moreover the strings used by the templates are also in several template
files (or .inc)
To deal with that this patch introduces the idea to create 1 .inc file
per .js file
Here we have members-menu.inc for members-menu.js
Test plan:
- Remove all your adult categories (categories.category_type='A')
- Create a patron with a child category
- Try to update to adult category
=> The entry does no longer appears! (This is a change in the behaviour)
- Create one adult category
- Update to adult category
=> There is a JS confirmation message, if you accept the patron will
be updated to the adult category
- Create (at least) another adult category
- Create another child
- Update to adult category
=> No more confirmation message but a popup to select the adult category
- Pick one
=> The patron has been updated to the adult category

Having to write [% KOHA_VERSION %] for each url is bad because:
- It's easily forgettable when adding new <script> or <link>
- It prevents grep'ing for the full filename
- It violates the DRY principle
- If at some point we want to change the "force js and css reload"
mechanism, it will be tedious
This patch:
- adds a Template::Toolkit plugin that generates <script> and
<link> tags for JS and CSS files, and inserts automatically the Koha
version in the filename
- use the new plugin to remove all occurences of [% KOHA_VERSION %]
- remove the code that was adding KOHA_VERSION as a template variable
Test plan:
1. Apply patch
2. Go to several different pages in Koha (opac and intranet) while
checking your browser's dev tools (there should be no 404 for JS and
CSS files, and the Koha version should appear in filenames) and the
server logs (there should be no "File not found")
3. `git grep KOHA_VERSION` should return nothing
4. prove t/db_dependent/Koha/Template/Plugin/Asset.t

- members-update.tt - The list of pending patron updates. One or more

8. Check the checkbox to unset the flag and approve the modification request
9. Click Submit
10. Observe your test patron no longer has gone no address flag set
11. Repeat steps 2-7
12. Do not check the checkbox, but approve the modification request
13. Observe your test patron still has gone no address flag set
14. Remove the gone no address flag from your test patron

By not limiting the patron modification lists by branch, it can quickly
become overwhelming for a librarian. This patch makes the following
modifications:
* Only superlibrians will see the full list of borrowers with pending
modifications.
* Adds the patron cardnumber after the patrons name on the modification
list.
* Adds a link to the patron's record from the modification list.
Test Plan:
1) Apply this patch
2) Set up some pending modifications for two branches
3) Log in to the staff intranet as one of those branches
4) You should note the number of pending modifications counts
only your logged in branch's patrons
5) Click the link, you should only see your logged in branches
patrons in the pending modifications list.
6) You should note the cardnumber is displayed next to the patron name
7) You should note the "View record" link below each patron's name

This is a(nother) vestige of Koha (2.2?).
This patch removes unused code related to the 'ethnicity'.
In detail:
There is no way to fill the ethnicity table.
There is no way to fill the borrowers.ethnicity and borrowers.ethnotes.
BUT if borrowers.ethnicity exists, the value is displayed on
members/moremember.pl (and only here).
Test plan:
Apply this patch and confirm there is no regression on
adding/updating/deleting patrons.
Note that you don't see the ethnicity value on the moremember.pl page even if a patron has it.

The patron modification request page in the staff client does show
the name and home library of a patron, but there is no way to
go to the patron record. This patch adds a link to the patron details.
Extras: changes display of patron name, so a missing firstname won't
result in an extra , showing.
To test:
- Make some update requests from different patron accounts in the OPAC
- Go to the patron modification request page in staff
- Verify a link 'Patron details' now shows on each entry and
works correctly
Followed test plan. Works as expected. QA tools OK.

Not sure the "Patron details" link is at the best place, but I don't
have something better to suggest.

I don't think we need the library label. Also switched to displaying the
library name, rather than just the branchcode.

To test:
Ensure OPACPatronDetails is set to enabled
Apply the patch
Log into the OPAC and update your patron details (address, phone number etc)
Log into the staff client and view pending patron changes.
The branchcode of the library to which the patron belongs should display next to the user's name.
Followed test plan, works as expected

Labeling a phone number field "mobile phone" eliminates the usefulness
of having the labels "primary" and "secondary." Generic labels let the
user populate the fields according to their importance rather than their
type.
To test I recommend editing a patron record so that the values in the
patron record contain a label matching the table column:
borrowers.phone : 555-555-1234 (primary - phone)
borrowers.phonepro : 555-555-5678 (secondary - phonepro)
borrowers.mobile : 555-555-9012 (other - mobile)
View this patron's information in the various affected templates and
verify that the labels correctly match the data:
- OPAC "your personal details" (opac-memberentry.pl)
- Submit changes to primary, secondary, and other phone via the OPAC.
In the staff client, view the confirmation for those changes.
- Patron details in the staff client (moremember.pl)
- Patron entry/edit in the staff client (memberentrygen.pl)
- Patron duplicate confirmation in the staff client
(you can navigate directly to
/members/moremember.pl?borrowernumber=XXXX&print=brief)

To test:
- Set opacuserlogin and OPACPatronDetails to allow
- Log in to OPAC, go to 'your personal details'
- Change Home library
- Go to staff client: Patrons requesting modifications (/cgi-bin/koha/members/members-update.pl)
- Without patch, you do not see the change request, but can Approve, Deny or Ignore it
- With patch, you see the change request, indicating the Home library (branchcode)

I "slightly" rewrote the patch so it applies on current master.
This patch changes that giant hash by a TT block
to find apropriate strings
To test:
1) Apply the patch
2) On opac log as some user and request some modifications
on personal data
3) On staff, reload main, will see a notice that a patron
has requested modification, clic on the link
4) All modified data must show with apropriate legends
for each db column, check for regressions
5) Update translation files for your preferred language, xx-YY
Check for new strings, e.g.
egrep "Alternate address" misc/translator/po/xx-YY*
You must find old and new instances
(old with #~ , in particular the hash one)

I like to have this fixed. I'd like it to use C4::Templates::GetColumnDefs
instead, but it belongs to another bug report I guess.
This patch fixes a misspelled word
To test:
1. login in opac, clic personal details, change Alternate phone
number and submit
2. go to staff, Patrons, clic on link 'Patrons requesting modifications'
Alternate phone has mispelled label
3. apply the patch
4. reload, label is fixed
Followed test plan. Typo is fixed.

If you update your "Contact note" via the OPAC that change doesn't
appear in the staff client's "Update patron records" interface. The
field is missing from members-update.tt
To test, log in to the OPAC and update your details
(opac-memberentry.pl), modifying the "Contact note" in the "Alternate
address" section.
In the staff client, view "Patrons requesting modifications"
(members/memgers-update.pl). The changed contact note field should
appear in the list of field awaiting approval for that patron.

String fix. The field name is also incorrect, causing the alternate
contact country to not be stored.
To test: Submit an update to an existing patron record an include a
change to the alternate contact's country field. Before the patch this
line would not appear in the staff client for approval. After the patch
it should.
