This patch updates the way the fund modification page handles patron
names so that a patron with only a first name or only a surname will
have their name appear correctly when selected as a manager or a user.
To test, apply the patch if necessary, create a patron with only a first
name and one with only a surname and give them acquisitions permissions.
- Go to Administration -> Funds.
- Edit a fund.
- Click 'Add users'.
- Select a user, only staff users will be searchable
- Select one of the patrons you created.
- The patron name should appear correctly
- Test with both your first name only patron and your last name only
patron.
- Perform the same test with the 'Select owner' process.

This patch makes two categories of changes:
1. CSS changes to accommodate changes in DataTables default CSS and
markup structure. I've tried to make sure all of our Koha-specific
styles are still applying.
This change necessitates a rebuild of staff interface CSS.
2. DataTables option names: In this version of DataTables you can't
override a default which uses CamelCase (e.g. "pagingType") with one
in "Hungarian" notation, e.g. "sPaginationType." Since we define many
default options in prog/js/datatables.js in camel case, any template
which previously used a Hungarian notation option to override the
default has now been updated to use the CamelCase version.
See https://datatables.net/upgrade/1.10-convert#Options for a summary
of the different option name changes.

We are incorrectly using encodeURIComponent in patron-search.inc.
When a new patron is selected, the info message is showing "Patron %s is already in the list"
or "Patron %s added". If the patron has space in their name, they will be substituted with %20.
We are using JSON for select, we can reuse it for add.

This fixes the display of patron search results, so that it shows
the number of checkouts when a patron has overdue items. For

out.
Test plan:
1. Check out two items to a patron - make one overdue (click the

ago).
2. Check out another item to another patron.
3. Search for patrons so that the two patrons you checked out
items to are listed in the results.
4. Note the display for the 'Checkouts' column:
4.1 For patrons without any checkouts: 0 / 0
4.2 For the patron from step 2 with one checkout: 0 / 1
4.3 For the patron from step 1 with one overdue and one
checkout: 1 (in bold and red)

This patch modifies the JS which generates some markup during some kinds
of patron searches so that the strings labeling submit buttons can be
translated.
To test, apply the patch and go to Administration -> Funds.
- Add a fund or edit an existing one.
- Test the "Select owner" link
- A popup should appear, and after performing a patron search which
returns results you should see a "Select" column in the last column
of the patron search results table.
- Test the "Add users" link
- Perform the same test as above. The button in the last column should
be "Add"
- The template accommodates two other cases, "Edit" and "Check out" but
I was unable to find a place where they were used.
- To test translatability, run the translation tool for any language,
e.g.
perl misc/translator/translate update fr-FR
Search the regenerated po file (in this example
misc/translator/po/fr-FR-staff-prog.po) to confirm that the
correct strings are there: "Select", "Add", "Edit, and "Check out"
should each have entries for line 234, e.g.
koha-tmpl/intranet-tmpl/prog/en/includes/patron-search.inc:234
c-format
msgid "Select"
msgstr "Sélectionner"

Prior to bug 30063 we had "Email", "Phone", and "Address" in the search field list
that allowed a search on all email, phone, or address attributes.
This patron restores these and makes sure the search box and the patron search filters use
the same block to keep them consistent
The fields are now labelled 'All emails', 'All phones', and 'Full address' to make it clear
that they search multiple - including any single field in the DefaultPatronSearchFields will
additionally add that to the dropdowns
To test:
1 - define 'test@email.pro' as 'Secondary email' for a patron
2 - Search from 'Search patrons' address bar (visible at top of moremember.pl)
3 - Nothing is found using 'Standard' or 'Email fields'
4 - Apply patch
5 - Refresh page and repeat
6 - Nothing is found for standard, Patron is found for 'All emails'
7 - Define a unique value for patron in 'Address 2'
8 - Confirm 'Full address' search returns the patron
9 - Test with 'Secondary phone' and 'All phones' as well
10 - Repeat test from 'Patrons' module using the search on the left

Prior to the rewrite of the patron searches (bug 30063 and friends) it
was possible to search for a patron using their date of birth, formatted
following the dateformat syspref.
Now it only works if the date is iso formatted.
This patch is providing a fix to restore the behaviour, but does not
make it consistent. Only searching patrons by date of birth is fixed
here, when we actually want to fix the problem for the REST API DT
wrapper instead.
Test plan:
Search for patrons given their date of birth. You need to select "date
of birth" in the "Search field" dropdown, or set it in
DefaultPatronSearchFields.
Note that the column filtering is still not working, but I guess it was
the case already in older versions. Ideally we will need to have a
"datatype" attribute passed to the the 'th' and retrieved from
datatables.js to add this same trick and build the query appropriately.

This patch modifies the patron search results page to enable checkbox
selections to be remembered in the browser's localStorage. This allows
checkbox selections to persist while navigating through multiple pages
of search results or even across multiple different searches.
Once selected, these values can be added to a patron list or submitted
for merging. Selections can be cleared manually and will be
automatically be removed upon logout.
To test, apply the patch and rebuild the staff interface CSS
(https://wiki.koha-community.org/wiki/Working_with_SCSS_in_the_OPAC_and_staff_client).
- In the staff interface perform a patron search in the Patrons module
which will return multiple pages of results..
- Check checkboxes next to several patrons.
- After one checkbox is checked the "Add to patron list" button should
be enabled.
- After more than one checkbox is checked the "Merge selected patrons"
button should be enabled.
- A box should appear in the toolbar above the search results, "Patrons
selected: X"
- Navigate to another page of results. Check more checkboxes. The
"Patrons selected" information should be updated.
- Return to the first page of results. Your original selections should
still be checked.
- Test that the correct set of patrons is used when clicking "Merge
selected patrons" or when using "Add to patron list."
- Click the "Clear" button in the selections information box. Checkboxes
should be cleared on every page of results you previously checked.
- The "Add to patron list" and "Merge selected patrons" buttons should
become disabled.
- After making several selections, log out of the staff interface and
log back in, returning to the same patron search. Your selections

This patch removes the circ/ysearch.pl script used by the jQuery autocomplete widget.
We can now use the /api/v1/patrons endpoint to retrieve the patrons and
generate the patron result list.
Prior to this patch the different occurrences were defining the style
and the list of patron's attributes to display for each option (name,
date of birth, age, address, etc.). Now they are all displaying the same
information.
To acchieve this we had to:
* Make js-date-format.inc and js-patron-get-age.inc available from js_includes.inc
and so available from everywhere, which is certainly a good move. We
could discuss why this code is in include file instead of JS files
however.
* Remove the .ajaxSetup call in tags-review.js to reduce its scope: an
underscore parameter was added to the REST API query (?)
A better solution would have been to extend the existing widget
(https://learn.jquery.com/jquery-ui/widget-factory/extending-widgets/)
but I didn't manage to do it, and I feel like there is a bug in jQuery
autocomplete. The "source" was not taken into account.
We could think about replacing the jQuery autocomplete with something
else, but that's outside the scope of this bug.
Test plan:
Search for patrons and confirm the autocomplete works and that the
"select" action works as before (either a redirect or select the
patrons) on the different views:
* Place a hold
* Search for tags (form on the left)
* In the header, "Check out" and "Search patrons"
* Add instructors to course reserves
* View logs (the "librarian" input)

This patch also adjusts the tests to test for that and reflects the
expected changes to the number of options displayed in the select boxes.

This patch corrects the handling of the 'Standard' search field in
patron searches such that it accurately reflects the contents of the
DefaultPatronSearchFields system preference and falls back to a hard
coded list instead of always using the hard coded list.
To test:
1) Empty the contents of DefaultPatronSearchFields systempreference
2) Perform a patron search from the header search
3) Inspect the patrons API request and note that we search on the
default fallback fields of firstname, surname, othernames,
cardnumber and userid (and some extended attributes which are
historically hard coded).
4) Navigate to the memebers-home by clicking the 'Patrons' button from
the main page
5) Perform another search using the filters on the left with 'Standard'
selected.
6) Note the same list of search fields used as above in the patrons API
request.
7) Update the DefaultPatronSearchFields systempreference adding one or
more borrower fields in a comma delimited list.
8) Repeat steps 2 -> 6 but this time upon inspecting the API request you
should find that only the fields in your DefaultPatronSearchFields
list are searched (along with the hard coded extended attributes
list).
9) Signoff

Regression from bug 30063. If you are searching all patrons (not search term passed) from the header, the patron search result is not displayed.
Test plan:
Go to the Koha homepage, search patrons, don't enter a search term and
click "submit"
All patrons must be returned.
Regression test: on the other patron search forms, confirm that there is
no regression, ie. no patron displayed until you search for something
