To test:
1) Go to Tools -> Staged MARC Management and clean a file. If you have no files to clean, go to 'Stage MARC for import' and upload one to clean following the necessary steps.
2) Confirm that once the file has been cleaned, the Action column now shows a Delete button. Confirm this button only shows for cleaned files.
3) Click the Delete button.
4) Confirm that clicking Cancel exits the pop-up message and does not delete the file.
5) Confirm that clicking OK refreshes the list of staged records and the one you just deleted is no longer on it (has been deleted). You can confirm this by checking for the file in mysql (SELECT * FROM import_batches WHERE import_batch_id = X;)
6) Run prove -v t/db_dependent/ImportBatch.t (have written unit tests for CleanBatch and DeleteBatch)

New feature: provide granular means to configure warnings about items
that have been issued to a particular borrower before, according to
their checkout history.
- Global syspref ('CheckPrevCheckout'), set to 'hardno' by default,
allows users to enable this feature library wide.
- Per patron category pref allows libraries to create overrides per
category, falling back on the global setting by default.
- Per patron pref allows switching the functionality on at the level
of patron. Fall-back to category settings by default.

There's a typo in the explanation for the new MaxSearchResultsItemsPerRecordStatusCheck sys pref that was added in 3.22.2.

This patch removes unused Greybox markup from two templates.
To test, apply the patch and go to Authorities.
- Perform an authority search which will return multiple results.
- Select two records to merge.
- On the "merging records" page, an earlier version used Greybox to show
a preview of the selected authority records. Confirm that authority
number link for the two records triggers a pop-up window instead.
- From the authorities home page, choose 'New from Z39.50'
- Perform a search which will return multiple results.
- Confirm that there is only a 'MARC' preview link. A
forever-commented-out 'Card' link has been removed.

My patch for Bug 5006 introduced a lot of markup changes to the record
matching rules template. I missed a change in one are though, which
caused a bug with the way the 'Remove match check' link works.
To reproduce:
- Go to Administration -> Record matching rules.
- Edit a matching rule which includes at least one match check.
- Click a 'Remove match check' link. The entire "Required match checks"
block is removed.
To test, apply the patch and repeat the steps above. Clicking any
'Remove match check' link should remove only the corresponding rule.

Changes the value of the "comment" column in "borrower_debarments" table
from "Restriction added by overdues process yyyy-mm-dd hh:mm:ss" to
"OVERDUE_PROCESS yyyy-mm-dd hh:mm:ss" in the overdue_notices.pl. Then in
the templates "moremember.tt", "circulation.tt", "memberentrygen.tt",
"opac-reserve.tt" and "opac-user.tt" the value of "comment" is
check, if it's an automatical comment due to overdue process it'll
write "Restriction added by overdues process yyyy-mm-dd hh:mm:ss",
then if there is a customizable comment it will be written without
modification. Like this, the comment "Restriction added by overdues
process" is written in the po files and can be translated later.
To test:
1) create a patron with automatical restriction due to overdue process;
2) apply patch;
3) run misc/cronjobs/overdue_notices.pl;
4) verify if the comment "Restriction added by overdues process" is well
written and translatable on the following page :
- opac patron home page (opac-user.tt);
- opac item reservation page (opac-reserve.tt);
- pro patron page (moremember.tt);
- reservation item for a patron (circulation.tt, memberentrygen.tt);
5) try to translate the comment in po files;
6) sign off.

When quick adding a new patron, both button are in the DOM and the
second button has a margin-left (from .btn-toolbar > .btn + .btn).
This patch force the margin-left to 0 to avoid the button to move when
toggling them.

This patch adds a new system preference:
PatronQuickAddFields
When either this pref or BorrowerMandatoryField is populated this will add a new dropdown to the bew patron toolbar.
When a category is chosen from this dropdown the fields in PatronQuickAddFields and BorrowerMandatoryField will be displayed.
There will be a button allowing a user to switch from the quickadd to the full form and fields will be copied between the forms when toggling.
The Quick add will only be displayed on add of a new patron, future edits should display the full form.
Test plan:
1 - Apply patch
2 - run updatedatabase.pl
3 - Add a new patron and ensure nothing has changed
4 - Populate either PatronQuickAddFields or BorrowerMandatory fields
and note the new button for adding a patron
5 - Click the Quick add and choose a type
6 - Only required or quick add fields should be displayed
7 - Verify toggling forms copies information
8 - Ensure you cannot save patron without filling required fields
(quick add fields should be optional)
9 - Ensure you can save patron with fields filled out
10 - Ensure that a duplicate patron brings up the duplicate/add new
buttons with full form displayed
11 - Verify that subsequent edits use only full form
12 - Verify that data on form submitted is the data saved to patron
13 - Test with various values in both MandatoryBorrowerFields and PatronQuickAddFields

This patch introduces the CRUD UI for managing the refund lost item fee
rules on the general 'Circulation and fines rules' page.
Verify that rules can be added and changed.
Rules are correctly associated to the chosen branch (or the
general default rule).
To test:
- Apply the patch
- Open smart-rules.pl
=> SUCCESS: The text and refund rules section correctly refers to default global rules.
The policy can be set to Yes and No, and works as expected.

It would be very helpful for librarians to have links directly to the
record and items editor from a serial. Right now moving from the serial
to those editors requires jumping through a number of pages.
Test Plan:
1) Apply this patch
2) Browse subscription-detail.pl for a given serial
3) Under the Edit button, note the "Edit record" link
4) Verify the link takes you to the marc editor for that record
5) Create or find a serial that is set to create items on receiving

This patch removes the use of "onclick" from several templates, instead
defining click events in JavaScript.
Also changed: Some markup corrections.
To test, apply the patch and:
- Go to Circulation -> Upload offline circulation file
- Browse for an offline circulation file.
- Clicking the 'Upload file' button should work correctly.
- After uploading a file, both the 'Add to offline circulation
queue' and 'Apply directly' buttons should work to trigger their
corresponding processes (keeping Bug 16603 in mind).
- Go to Patrons -> Patron lists.
- For any patron list containing patrons, click the 'Print patron
cards' menu item. This should trigger a modal window which exports
the correct list.
- Go to Tools -> Batch item modification.
- Submit a batch of items for modification.
- Clicking the 'Save' button should trigger the background job and the
items should be successfully modified.
- Go to Tools -> Batch item deletion.
- Submit a batch of items for deletion.
- Clicking the 'Delete' button should trigger the background job and
the items should be successfully deleted.
- Go to Tools -> Calendar.
- Trigger the 'Add new holiday' panel by clicking a day on the
calendar which has no holiday defined.
- Clicking the 'Cancel' link should hide the panel.
- Trigger the 'Edit this holiday' panel by clicking a day which has a

This patch modifies several include files, removing "onclick" attributes
in favor of defining events in JavaScript.
A reusable "toggle" function has been added to the global JS file so
that clicking elements with the class "toggle_element" will toggle the
display of elements as defined in the click target's "data-element"
attribute.
Also changed: In subtypes_unimarc.inc some capitalization errors have
been fixed and label/id pairs corrected.
To test, apply the patch and clear your browser cache if necessary.
- On the Acquisitions home page, click the "Orders search" header search
tab. Clicking the [+] link should expand and collapse the additional
search fields.
- On the checkout or patron detail page, view the "Restrictions" tab.
Click to add a restriction and use the datepicker to select a date.
Clicking the "Clear date" link should clear the date.
- Trigger the help window on any page. Clicking the "close window"
button should work correctly.
- Go to Administration -> Patron categories -> Edit. Checking and
unchecking messaging preference options should work correctly. The "do
not notify" checkbox should clear other checkboxes in that row and
vice versa.
- In Serials, from a subscription detail page, clicking the "Renew"
button should trigger the renew popup.
- Go to Acquisitions -> Vendor -> Add to basket -> From a subscription.
Clicking the "Advanced search" link in the left hand sidebar should
toggle the sidebar search form.
- In a UNIMARC system, view the advanced search page. Clicking the "Show
coded information filters" link should show additional search fields.
(I tested in my MARC21 system by temporarily moving line 174 of
advsearch.tt to line 172).

This patch removes the use of "onclick" from all header search forms for
the purpose of triggering the "keep_text" function. This behavior is now
handled in the globally-included JS file.
To test, apply the patch and clear your cache if necessary.
- Enter text in any header search form field. Click to each other tab
in the header and confirm that your text is copied to each.
- Test the behavior of the header search form on at least one page where
each is included:
- The staff client home page
- The advanced search page
- The authorities home page
- The administration home page
- The cataloging home page
- The checkin page
- The circulation home page
- The patrons home page
- Acquisitions -> Vendor -> Contracts
- Administration -> Cities
- Administration -> Currencies and exchange rates
- Administration -> Patron categories

This patch fixes some minor bugs and adds a small enhancement to the
quotes editor and quotes upload pages.
To test, apply the patch and go to Tools -> Quote editor
- In the table of quotes, clicking the "ID" table header should trigger
an alert, "Click on the quote's ide to select..."
- Go to "Import quotes" and select a file to upload.
- On the upload preview page you should see a new "Cancel import"
button. Clicking it should return you to the quotes upload page after
asking for confirmation.
- Test the upload cancel button:
- If you have fast reflexes or are uploading a file large enough, you
should be able to see a "Cancel upload" button during the upload
process.
- Clicking this button should cancel the upload and return you to the
quote upload page.
Tested on top of Bug 16589, works as expected.

This patch removes the use of "onclick" attributes from some patron
pages.
To test, apply the patch and:
- In Patrons, perform any search which will return multiple results.
Confirm that the "select all" and "clear all" links work as expected.
Font Awesome icons have been added to these links.
In the left-hand sidebar, change any of the filters and click the
"Clear" button. The form (and your search results) should reset.
- Open the 'Set permissions' page for any patron. Checking any
permission with sub-permissions should correctly expand the tree and
select all sub-permissions. The reverse should also work.
Also changed in this file: The "Inconsistency detected" alert has been
reformatted to make it translatable.
- View the detail page for a patron with one or more restrictions.
Clicking the "View restrictions" link at the top of the page should
jump you to and activate the restrictions tab.
- View the 'Notices' tab for a patron who has been sent one or more
notices. Click any notice title to expand the notice. Clicking the
"resend" button should resend the notice.
- Create a new patron with the same first and last name as an existing
patron. This should trigger a duplicate warning message. Click the
"View existing record" link to trigger a pop-up window with a patron
detail brief view.
In this window an "email" class has been added to the primary and
secondary email lines so that long email addresses don't overlap the
second column of data.
Confirm that clicking the "close" button in this window closes the
window. The changes to staff-global.css are included in this patch to
prevent the close button from having an incorrect color change on
hover.

This patch adds an "add to cart" link to each line of search results in
the staff client.
To test, apply the patch and clear your browser cache if necessary.
- Enable the intranetbookbag system preference.
- Perform a search which will return multiple search results.
- Each result should have an "Add to cart" link.
- Clicking the "Add to cart" link should add the title to the cart,
triggering the correct pop-up message and changing the link to read
"In your cart (remove)."
- Clicking the "remove" link should remove the title from your cart
and trigger the correct messages.
- Add multiple titles to your cart and perform the same search again.
Each result should correctly indicate which titles are already in your
cart.
- Open the cart popup window.
- Check the checkbox for one or more titles in your cart and choose
"Remove." The titles should be removed, and the "In your cart" label
in the search results page should reflect that the titles are no
longer in the cart.
- Choose "Empty and close." All titles in the parent page should now
indicate that they are not in the cart.
- Disable the intranetbookbag preference and confirm that the "Add to
cart" links are no longer there.
Followed test plan. Works as expected.

This patch makes several changes to the cart JavaScript and template. In
the template:
- Remove "onclick" attributes in favor of defining events in the
JavaScript.
- Add a [% BLOCK %] section for some repeated markup.
- Add some Font Awesome icons (I didn't add icons to all controls
because I thought it looked cluttered).
- Move the batch modification control out of the toolbar and into the
group of controls which affects selected records. I think this is a
logical grouping, and makes more sense than having a drop-down menu in
the toolbar with a single menu item.
JavaScript:
- Created separate "cart.js" file so that JS could be moved out of the
template without loading up basket.js with event functions which are
not needed on every page in the staff client.
- Fix JSHint errors.
To test, apply the patch and clear your browser cache if necessary.
- Add multiple items to the cart in the staff client and open the cart.
- Confirm correct functionality of these toolbar buttons:
- "More details" (and the corresponding "Show less")
- "Send"
- "Print"
- "Empty and close"
- Confirm the correct functionality of all the selection controls:
Select all, clear all, Remove, Add to a list, Place hold, Batch
modify, and Batch delete.
- Confirm that clicking any title in the cart opens the correct detail
page in the parent window.

This patch removes the use of "onclick" attributes from two
catalog-related templates: The local cover image viewer and the search
results page. Events are now defined in JavaScript.
To test:
On the search results page:
- Perform a catalog search which will return multiple results.
- On the search results page, confirm that the "Select all" and "Clear
all" links at the top of the results table work correctly.
In the local cover image viewer:
- The LocalCoverImages and AllowMultipleCovers system preferences must
enabled, and at least one catalog record must have at least two local
cover images attached.
- Locate that record in the catalog and view the detail page for it.
- Click the cover image in the "Images" tab to go to the image viewer
page.
- Clicking each local cover image thumnail should correctly display the
larger version of each image.

This patch reviseds the stage MARC records template, removing
one more "onclick" attribute from the markup and defining that event in
the script.
This patch also corrects a missing quotation mark in the HTML. I have
done some reindentation to that section.
To test, apply the patch and go to Tools -> Stage MARC records for
import.
- Select a MARC file for import.
- Click the "Upload file" button.
- Click the "Stage for import" button. Your import should be correctly
staged.

This follow-up makes some corrections to the markup of the cancel
button:
- Use <a> instead of <button> to eliminate the need for an "onclick"
attribute.
- Remove the "cancel" class which adds unwanted padding.
- Correct the destination of the cancel button when cancelling during an
edit (should redirect to the patron detail page).

On comment bug 11088 comment 2, Owen explained the problem with the
fixFloat toolbar. Since we have a hidden div, the plugin does not manage
to place the toolbar correctly.
In order to make it work, this patch adds some changes to the plugin to
add the ability to define our own offset.
When the div is extended (+, filteraction_on), the offset should be
updated to move the toolbar. Same when the div is folded (-,
filteraction_off)

This patch makes the new sysprefs work as the previously defined. Instead of falling back
to what *ResultsDisplay is set, it now has its own 'default' (that still defaults to the
*Results*.xslt).
The default values are set to 'default' as the rest of XSLT-related sysprefs, and the upgrade
picks whatever is set in OPACXSLTResultsDisplay and XSLTResultsDisplay so current behaviour
is preserved.

set custom XSLTs for lists display. This is done almost the usual
way.
If none is specified (value='') it defaults to the current behaviour:

When changing suggestion, the selected tab is kept.
The same should be done with the selected branch.
Test plan:
- Go to suggestions table : /cgi-bin/koha/suggestion/suggestion.pl

This patch changes the default sort of patron quick search results from
the circulation header search or when searching for a patron during the
hold process.
To test:
In Circulation:
- Perform a search by name for a patron which will
return multiple search results.
- Confirm that the results are sorted by patron name.
In the catalog:
- Locate and place a hold on a title.
- When prompted to select a patron to place the hold for, perform a
search by name which will return multiple results.

The bug is related to 10851. Due to add of status in 10851, status added were
missing in opac-detail.tt and opac-full-serial-issues.tt. The patch just added
these missing status.
To test:
1) Create New subscription in Serials, in Intranet
2) Do a search of the new subscription by Title
3) Take Serial receive as Actions to edit the status to Missing (<something>)
4) Go to Opac and Search the subscription created, by its title and See missing status
5) Apply patch, status must be showed.
6) Sign off

If an attacker can get an authenticated Koha user to visit their page
with the code below, they can update the victim's details to arbitrary
values.

Prior to this patch, a single pref (MaxItemsForBatch) was used to
restrict the use of the batch item modification and deletion.
On the batch modification tool, the pref is used to limit the number of
items a librarian is allowed to modify in a batch, but on the batch
deletion tool the pref is used to limit the number of items to display.
To clarify things, this patch split the pref into 2 new prefs:
MaxItemsToDisplayForBatchDel and MaxItemsToProcessForBatchMod.
Later we could add a MaxItemsToProcessForBatchDel if needed.
Note that this patch should not introduce any changes in the current behaviors.
Test plan:
0/ Do not execute the update DB entry
1/ Set a value != 1000 for MaxItemsForBatch
2/ Execute the update DB entry and confirm that the 2 new prefs are
initially set with the value of MaxItemsForBatch and that
MaxItemsForBatch has been deleted

If an issue is already checked out, CanBookBeIssued must check if the
issue can be checked in before processing the return.
In such cases (depending of the AllowReturnToBranch pref), the issue
should not be allowed.
Prior to this patch, the checkin was not done and the checkout failed
with "Duplicate entry '1204321' for key 'itemnumber'". Indeed since bug
14978, there is an uniq key on issues.itemnumber. Before bug 14978 the
issue existed but was hidden (and some weird behaviors certainly
happened!).
To avoid Koha to crash, a check is added to CanBookBeIssued (call to
CanBookBeReturned) and the librarian is not able to process the
checkout.
Test plan:
- Set AllowReturnToBranch to anywhere
- Check an item (homebranch Library 1, holding branch Library 1) out from Library 1
- Check the item out from Library 2
=> Confirm the checkout (should work with and without this patch)
- Set AllowReturnToBranch to holdinbranch ("only the library the item
was checked out from").
- Check an item (homebranch Library 1, holding branch Library 1) out from Library 1
- Check the item out from Library 2
=> Without this patch, Koha crashed
=> With this patch, you will be warned that the checkin is not possible.

This patch makes changes to the layout and behavior of the marc
modification template management page to make it adhere better to common
interaction patterns in Koha.
- The initial view shows a list of templates rather than pre-selecting
the first available template for editing.
- A toolbar has been added with a "New template" button.
- The initial view of existing templates has an actions menu containing
menu items for 'Edit actions,' 'Duplicate,' and 'Delete.' It doesn't
appear to be possible to edit an existing template's name.
- The "Create template" form is no longer shown all the time.
- Clicking the "New template" toolbar button triggers a modal with the
form for creating a template. An existing template can be chosen to
duplicate.
- Choosing "Duplicate" from one of the template menus triggers the
"New template" modal and preselects the corresponding template in
the "duplicate" <select>.
- When editing actions for a template:
- The breadcrumbs menu now reflects that a template is being modified.
- The template name has been added as a heading.
- A "New action" button appears in the toolbar
- The "Edit" and "Delete" links now have a Bootstrap button style.
- The add/edit form is now hidden by default.
- Clicking "New action" or "edit" shows the add or edit form.
- Clicking "Cancel" in the add/edit form hides the form.
To test, apply the patch and clear your cache if necessary.
- Got to Tools -> MARC modification templates
- Test the "New template" button.
- Confirm that new template creation works.
- Confirm that duplicating a template works.
- Test the menu items in the "Actions" menu:
- "Duplicate" should trigger the new template modal and preselect the
template you chose to duplicate. Confirm that the template is
successfully duplicated.
- "Delete" should prompt you to confirm the deletion. Test both
cancelling and confirming this operation.
- "Edit actions" should load the page for adding or editing actions to
a template. Test the operations on this page: New action, edit,
delete, changing action order.
Note that this patch does not fix Bug 15814, so action descriptions

This patch replaces the address part in moremember-print.tt to print identical
address information as displayed on the screen (including street numer, formatted as required by syspref 'AddressFormat'
To test:

Add Font Awesome Icons to section Patrons and circulation in Tools module.
Also correct a error dialog in JQuery functions

This patch changes the "Discharge" menu in the patron sidebar to read
"Discharges," and adds a "Discharge" menu item to the patron toolbar.
This adds some redunancy, but fits with the pattern of including "views"
in the sidebar and "actions" in the menu. The discharge feature can be
thought of either way.
To test you must have the 'useDischarge' system preference enabled.
- View the detail page for any patron.
- Confirm that the sidebar menu reads "Discharges."
- Confirm that the "More" menu contains a "Discharge" link which works
correctly.

This patch replaces Greybox modals on the acquisitions receipt summary
page with Bootstrap modals.
To test, apply the patch and go to Acquisitions -> Invoices -> View an
invoice -> Go to receipt page.
- In the list of pending orders, test the "MARC" and "Card" links for
various titles. Each should trigger a Bootstrap modal with the correct
content.
- Repeat the same tests in the list of already received orders.

2) Create .New Numbering Pattern.

once you turn it on. We should include a note and the link, similar to how we

This patch fixes translatability issues in opac-auth.tt (ugly
translations caused by sentence splitting).
It was necessary to change indentation to make the the file more
readable and to make sure that changes have no side effects.
The changes do not touch the overall functionallity.
To test:
- Review code to verify that no functionality change is introduced
and to verify that the text changes make sense.
- Apply patch, verify that OPAC login page behaves as before.

The special character "non breaking space" is not contained in XML syntax by default.
So we add it in the file header :
<!DOCTYPE stylesheet [<!ENTITY nbsp " " >]>
Even if the source code files do no contain this character, it can be that translated files contain it.
French for example "Titre :".
This entity is missing in all files in koha-tmpl/intranet-tmpl/prog/en/data/ and in some files of koha-tmpl/intranet-tmpl/prog/en/xslt.
Test plan :
- generate French templates:
cd misc/translator
./translate install fr-FR
cd ../..
- run test:
prove -v t/00-valid-xml.t
you get failing error message
- apply this patch
- translate again
- run test again: it passes

This patch fixes two splitted sentences to avoid translation issues:
The entered <a href="#borrower_cardnumber">card number</a> is the wrong length.
The entered <a href="#borrower_cardnumber">card number</a> is already in use.
To test:
Apply patch and verify that html in the 2 that are changed is correct and that
they are not splitted by a-tags.
Note: I could not figure out under which conditions this code displays in
the OPAC self registration form.

This patch modifies the offline circulation transaction processing page
so that English strings describing actions are processed in the template
rather than being output directly from the script.
To test, apply the patch and create an offline circulation file
containing at least one checkout, one check-in, and one payment.
- Upload the file and choose 'Add to offline circulation queue.'
- View pending offline circulation actions
- In the list of pending actions, the actions column should show "Check
out" instead of "issue," "Check in" instead of "return," and "Payment"
instead of "payment."
Strings appear as expected.

When paying a fine, the description is built out of the borrower's type and title, instead of the actual fine's description.
STEPS:
1) in the staff, go to a user with a fine to pay.
a) if none, go to a user and Fines>>"Create manual invoice" with a distinctive description.
2) In Fines>>Pay fines, click the "Pay" button on the line of the fine.
3) This will take you a "Pay an individual fine" screen, where the description will look like "Staff Mrs", for the category and title of the borrower.

If you edit a patron from the Edit link of the patron information block
(step 1 of the memberentry script), the branchcode is not displayed. If
you set a guarantor to a child from this form, a JavaScript error will
be raised:
JavaScript error form.branchcode is undefined
It happens because there is the branchcode is not displayed and there is
no element with a branchcode name.
To avoid this issue, a branchcode hidden input is added to the form and
it will be updated when a guarantor is selected (same behavior as when
you edit a patron using the complete form).
Test plan:
Edit a patron using the Edit link of the patron info block (not the Edit
button in the toolbar)
Set a guarantor
=> Notice that the branchcode of the patron has been updated with the
branchcode of the guarantor

This patch makes some fixes and improvements to the template for Tools
-> Upload, including markup corrections, removal of 'onclick,' and
conversion of some links to styled buttons.
To test, apply the patch and go to Tools -> Upload.
- Confirm that uploading a file works correctly.
- Confirm that clicking 'Cancel' during a file upload works correctly.
- Search existing uploads.
- Confirm that the 'Download' and 'Delete' buttons look correct and
work correctly.
- In Administration -> MARC bibliographic framework, choose a
framework and configure a tag subfield to use the upload plugin.
- Create or edit a bibliographic record using the framework you
modified.
- Click the tag editor icon next to your modified subfield to trigger
the pop-up window with the upload form.
- Confirm that this window has a layout which is adjusted for the size
of the window.
- Confirm that uploading and selecting files from this window works
correctly.

Display an information about a patron's messaging preferences if an item
is checked in where the patron has put a hold.
To test:
- Apply patch
- Make sure that SMS driver and TalkingTech sysprefs are defined to
enable SMS and Phone preferences for users (SMS driver can be a dummy
value)
- Place a hold for a patron
- Set patron's messaging preferences to different choices (including none)

emptied.

Bug 15793 made a change to an interface which is also found in the place
hold template. This patch creates a new include file to be used by both
circulation.tt and request.tt so that these pages do not diverge.
In the process, this patch removes some markup and JavaScript which was
made obsolete by Bug 15793 and should have been removed.
This patch also revises the sorting of the results table so that the
patron name is sortable (Bug 16334) and the default sort is on card
number (matching 3.20.x and 3.22.x).
To test:
In Circulation:
- Perform a search by name for a patron which will
return multiple search results.
- The table of results which displays should look correct and work
correctly, including DataTables sorting.
- Clicking any table row should forward you to the checkout page for
that patron.
In the catalog:
- Locate and place a hold on a title.
- When prompted to select a patron to place the hold for, perform a
search by name which will return multiple results.
- Confirm that the table of patron results looks correct and works
correctly.
- Clicking any table row should forward you to the place hold page for

Revision: Although the table row was clickable, you couldn't

This patch makes layout and behavior changes to the automatic item
modifications by age interface, bringing some aspects of it closer into
conformance with established interface patterns.
- The intial view is now a standard table of information about existing
rules, or a message dialog saying there are no rules.
- If there are no rules, a toolbar button reads "Add rules."
- If there are existing rules, the toolbar button reads "Edit rules."
- Clicking the button leads to the rules edit interface, which now has
a floating toolbar with "Add rule," "Save," and "Cancel" buttons.
- Clicking the "Add rule" button displays a blank rule block.
- If you are adding a rule to existing rules, the new block is
appended at the bottom, and the page scrolls to the new rule.
- As you add or remove rule blocks, the legend containing the rule
count updates so that the numbers are sequential.
- In each rule block, "age" and "substitutions" are now required.
The age field is now validated to require a number.
- The add/remove condition/substitution links now have more
descriptive text labels.
- The control to remove a rule is now a link in the <legend> element
associated with each rule.
- Most JavaScript for this page is now in a separate file.
- Breadcrumbs are updated to be a little more specific.
To test, apply the patch and clear your browser cache if necessary.
- Go to Tools -> Automatic item modifications by age.
- Test adding and removing rules.
- Test removing all rules.
- Test adding and removing conditions and substitutions within rules.
- Test submitting the form without filling in required fields.

This patch updates the guarantor search template so that event
definition is done in the script rather than in an onclick attribute.
This patch also increases the size of the popup window to help prevent
the need for horizontal scrolling and adds Bootstrap style to the
"select" button.
To test, apply the patch and clear your browser cache if necessary.
- Go to Patrons and add a patron with a "child" category type.
- In the "Guarantor information" section, click the "Set to patron"
button.
- In the pop-up window, search for a patron.
- Click the "Select" button next to a patron.
- The window should close, and the patron you selected should now appear
as the guarantor. The guarantor's address information should be added
to the "Main address" section.
Tested on top of Bug 13041 and Bug 16386, works as expected, however see
Bug 16458

At the moment you only see the cancel button on the form if editing an
existing budget. This patch adds a cancel button to the form which adds
a budget. Also changes the wording of the save button from 'Save
changes' to just 'Save' so it makes more sense when adding a new budget
To test:
1) Go to Admin -> Budgets -> New budget
2) Notice 'Save changes' button and no cancel
3) Apply patch and refresh page
4) Notice 'Save' button and 'cancel' link
5) Click 'cancel' - should be taken to Budgets administration page

If there are no existing cities in Administration -> Cities and Towns,
the message saying so should be in the standard message dialog.
Another minor change: Edit the message to say "There are no cities
defined," which I think reads better in English.
To test you must have no cities and towns defined.
Apply this patch and go to Administration -> Cities and Towns. You
should see a message displayed in a standard "message" style dialog.

Holds that have expired have been untranslatable in Patron's Fines-tab. Also, they are
mixed with other type of fines with accounttype "F". This patch gives expired holds an
own accounttype "HE" (Hold Expired) and modifies the boraccount to recognize this new
accounttype in order to make it translatable.
To test:
1. Make a hold and let it expire
2. Go to Patron's Fines tab
3. Change Koha's language to some other than English
4. Observe that there is a "Hold waiting too long" fine described in English
5. Apply patch
6. Make another hold and let it expire
7. Update translations
8. Find "Hold waiting too long" from your .po file
9. Translate it and install translations
10. Go back to Fines tab and observe that the new expired hold is translated

This patch adds "select all" and "select none" links to the display of
libraries in the export bibliographic records form.
Also modified: call number range and accession date fields have been
grouped in their own fieldsets in the hopes that this is more readable.
Page title and breadcrumbs have been corrected to read "Export data"
instead of "MARC export," matching menu items.
To test, apply the patch and go to Tools -> Export data.
- Test the select all/select none links and confirm that they work as
expected.
- Confirm that the structural changes to the form look okay.

Bug 12233 removes the declaration of the showListsUpdate JS function for
the OPAC.
It results in a JS error (ReferenceError: showListsUpdate is not
defined) when a user tries to add selected titles to a list if no title
is selected.
Test plan:
Launch a catalogue search
Select a list in the "Select titles to" dropdown list
=> Without this patch you will get the JS error
=> With this patch you will get a JS alert "No item was selected"

This patch corrects a problem with the reports toolbar include file
which can cause a problem with the "duplicate" button. The duplicate
button passes the entire report SQL as a URL parameter, but the template
variable was not escaped as a URL variable.
This patch also adds the "uri" filter to the report name and notes
fields just to be safe.
To reproduce the bug, create a new SQL report using the SQL in the bug
report. When you run the report you should see a broken "Duplicate"
button.
Apply the patch and run the report again. The duplicate button should
look correct and work correctly.

When selecting database fields to appear in a notice, selecting multiple
fields at once doesn't work correctly. The selected fields are grouped
together between << and >> instead of each being bracketed separately.
This patch corrects this problem. Also changed: Removal of 'onclick';
Conversion of 'insert' button to a Bootstrap buttons styled with a Font
Awesome icon; HTML validation error fixes.
To test, apply the patch and go to Tools -> Notices & Slips.
- Edit any notice.
- Select a notice version to edit (Email, Print, etc.).
- Confirm that the "Insert" button looks correct.
- Using ctrl+click, select multiple database fields to add to the
notice. Confirm that clicking the "Insert" button adds the fields
correctly.
- Confirm that there are no HTML validation errors.

This uses a hacky but simple method to get the correct script name under
proxied packaged Plack.
Test plan:
1) Log out of both the OPAC and staff side.
2) Try to access a page that requires login (opac-reserve.pl is a
good one for the OPAC), then log in.
3) You will be redirected back to mainpage.pl or opac-user.pl.
4) Repeat above for both staff side and OPAC.
5) Apply patch.
6) Repeat steps 1-4; you should be redirected back to the original
page you were on.
7) Repeat the above for both a traditional CGI and kohadevbox/package
Plack installation.

If you are trying to add a user as a manager of a basket in
acquisitions, a JavaScript error will be triggered if that user has a
single quote in their name (e.g. "O'Neil"). This patch corrects the
issue by removing the "onclick" attribute and using the JS change made
in Bug 16386.
Also changed by this patch: Increased the size of the patron search
popup and made a correction to some invalid HTML.
To test you should have a patron whose name contains a single quote who
is also a user with permission to manage acquisitions.
- Apply the patch and go to Acquisitions.
- Locate an open basket and view the details for that basket.
- In the "Managed by" section, click the "Add user" button to trigger
the patron search popup.
- Search for the patron described above and click the "Add" button.
- In the parent window, the patron you chose should have been added to
the "Managed by" section.
Tested on top of Bug 16383, behaves as expected.

This patch removes the use of "onclick" from several patron card creator
templates. Events are defined instead in JavaScript.
Also changed:
- Patron search pop-up window is now slightly larger because I found it
never quite large enough to prevent horizontal scrolling.
- Replaced "Borrower" with "Patron" in a couple of places.
- "Add" link in patron search pop-up is now styled as a Bootstrap
button.
- Removed Bootstrap styles from some submit buttons.
- Some Font Awesome icons were made using the invalid element
<icon></icon> instead of <i></i>. These are corrected.
- Fixed some other HTML validation errors.
To test, apply the patch and go to Tools -> Patron card creator.
- Choose New -> Card batch.
- Click "Add patrons" and perform a search for patrons in the pop-up
window.
- Click the "Add" button. The corresponding borrowernumber should be
added to the textarea in the parent window, and a message should
appear at the top of the pop-up window confirming that the patron
has been added. (Note: This patch fixes a version of Bug 13041 which
prevented the "add" button from working on patrons whose name
include an apostrophe).
- In the parent page, in the list of patrons you added to the batch,
confirm that clicking the "Delete" link triggers a confirmation
dialog. Test both confirming and canceling.
- Confirm that clicking the "Export" button next to an individual
patron triggers a modal window.
- In the export window, confirm that the "Cancel" link works to
close the modal.
- Click the "Export" button again and then the "Export" button in
the modal.
- Test that the "Done" button works to close the modal.
- Choose Manage -> Card batches.
- Test the "Delete" and "Export" buttons as described above.

Bug 15840 tried to fix a bug but makes things more complicated than it
was before.
If an userid is not provided for 1 or more rows of the csv file, it
should not be updated. However, if a userid is provided and it already
used by an other patron, the import should fail for this row (but not
crash!).
Test plan:
0/ Create a patron with a userid=your_userid
1/ Use the import patron tool to update this userid
=> userid should have been updated
2/ Update another data and do not provide the userid
=> data should have been updated and not the userid
3/ Update another data and provide the userid, but set it to an empty
string, or '0'
=> data should have been updated and not the userid
4/ Update another patron, and set userid=your_userid
=> Update should fail and an error whouls be displayed ("already used by
another patron")

Improve button for upload local cover image with Font Awesome Icon
To test:
-Set syspref LocalCoverImages and OPACLocalCoverImages to Allow
-A new tab 'Images' appear in bib record detail on Intranet.
-Notice about the button upload.
-Apply the patch and reload the page.
-The button is changed for class=btn btn-mini like the button "edit"
used in items in the tab Holdings
-Also added the Font Awesome icon upload "fa fa-upload" class.

In the patron entry form template most <fieldset> and <legend> tags have
unique ids. This patch adds ids to fieldsets and legends which lack
them.
To test apply the patch and view the patron entry form. There should be
no visual changes. There should be no HTML validation errors triggered
by this change.

This patch fixes a layout problem which appears on the staff client
bibliographic detail page if local covers are enabled but Amazon covers
are not.
To test, apply the patch and turn off AmazonCoverImages.
- Enable the LocalCoverImages system preference and locate or create a
record which has a local cover image associated with it.
- View the bibliographic detail page. The bibliographic details should
display in two columns, with text on the left and local cover image on
the right.
- Test with AmazonCoverImages and LocalCoverImages enabled.
- Test with AmazonCoverImages enabled and LocalCoverImages disabled.
All combinations are OK.

This patch changes the direction of the "actions" menu on the saved
reports page so that it popup up instead of down.
To test, apply the patch and go to Reports -> Saved reports.
- Click the "Actions" menu for any report and confirm that the menu
displays above the button instead of below it.

This patch adds subtitle information to the display of titles in the
OPAC's shelf browser.
To test, apply the patch and make sure OPACShelfBrowser is enabled.
- View the detail page for any title in the OPAC which has items.
- Click the "Browse shelf" link next to any item in the holdings table.
- The titles in the shelf browser should display with all subtitle
information as defined in Keywords to MARC mapping.

If you edit notice triggers and then use the "Checko out" tab from the
top bar, you may change your logged in library by accident!
Test Plan:
1) Disable the system preference CircAutocompl
2) Go to the notice triggers
3) Select the triggers for a library other than the one you logged in as
4) Use the "Check out" tab at the top to check out to a patron
5) Note your logged in branch has changed ( you'll need to refresh the
page if the check out search took you directly to one patron ).
6) Apply this patch
7) Repeat steps 2-4
8) Note the branch no longer changes
Tested with both patches applied. Works as expected.

On the advanced search form, the "Clear fields" button should pass expanded_options
param to preserve the view we use.
Test plan:
- Click on more options
- Fill some fields
- Click on "Clear fields"

When you edit the basket from the basket summary page,
saving the change brings you back to the basket summary
page, but cancelling brings you to the baskets page of
the vendor.
To test:
- Add a basket in acq
- Test cancel link returns to baskets page of vendor
- Add a basket and save
- Edit this basket
- Test cancel link now returns to basket summary page

This patch makes multiple changes to the plugins home page template to
bring it up to date with current interface patterns.
Test the following changes:
- Breacrumb links have been corrected to include "Tools" in the path.
Verify that this link is correct.
- A toolbar has been added for an "Upload plugin" button. Uploading is
an action, not a view, so it should be displayed in a toolbar. Verify
that the button works correctly.
- Messages are now formatted as messages rather than as headings. To
test, trigger a message by, for instance, uninstalling all plugins or
passing an invalid "method" parameter with the URL.
- Incorrect capitalization corrected.
- Plugin actions are moved to a single "Actions" dropdown menu. This
includes 'Run report,' 'Run tool,' 'Configure,' and 'Uninstall.' Test
that all these menu options work correctly.
- The standard "Tools" sidebar menu has been added.
- An "onclick" attribute has been removed in favor of defining the event
in JavaScript. Test by choosing the 'Uninstall' menu item for a
plugin. Test both confirm and cancel actions.
Also changed:
- Corrected capitalization on the tools home page.
- Adding missing plugins link to the tools sidebar menu.

This patch corrects a JavaScript error which has arisen due to the
jQuery upgrade. This should have been included in Bug 16321.
To test, apply the patch and go to Administration -> Audio alerts.
- In the list of existing audio alerts, check one or more checkboxes.
The "Delete selected" button should become enabled.
- Uncheck all checkboxes and check that the "Delete selected" button is
now disabled.
- Confirm that deletions are completed correctly.

This patch reviseds the stage MARC records template, removing "onclick"
attributes from the markup and defining those events in the script.
To test, apply the patch and go to Tools -> Stage MARC records for
import.
- Select a MARC file for import.
- Click the "Upload file" button. Your upload should be processed
correctly.
- Select a MARC file for import.
- Click the "Upload file" button.
- Click the "Cancel" button before the file has been uploaded. The
upload should be cancelled.

This patch removes the use of "onclick" from the list delete button,
moving the event definition into the script.
Also changed: Removed some unnecessary link markup; Added some
whitespace around the action buttons.
To test, apply the patch and go to Lists.
Click the "Delete" button next to any list. You should be prompted to
confirm the deletion. Verify that both confirming and canceling the
deletion works correctly.

This patch makes changes to the way links are displayed on the
bibliographic detail page, adding Font Awesome icons to make the links
clearer. Some instances of the "onclick" attribute are removed.
This patch also converts the "Edit" link to a Bootstrap button.
To test, apply the patch and locate a title in the catalog with multiple
holdings from different branches.
Test all the table controls under a variety of conditions:
- Logged in as a user who can or can't edit items
- Logged in as a user who can or can't perform batch item operations.
- With the StaffDetailItemSelection system preference enabled or
disabled.
- With the SeparateHoldings system preference turned on or off.

This patch removes the obsolete "border" attribute from <img> tags.
Browsers haven't applied an border to images by default for years.
There should be no visible changes as a result of this patch. It only
affects HTML validation. If you want to test the affected pages, apply
the patch and confirm that images look correct on these pages:
- In the patron sidebar menu, if patron images are enabled.
- On the authority MARC subfield structure administration page, only
some obsolete markup is affected (See Bug 16367).
- I don't know how to trigger display of the "filefind.png" image on
authority and bibliographic detail pages. Possibly unused markup?
- On the advanced search page, itemtype/collection/shelving location
images should look correct.
- When viewing existing holds for a title, the arrow images used for
changing the position of a hold in the list should look correct.
- When viewing a list of MARC modification actions, the arrow images
used for changing the order of actions should look correct.

This patch removes some obsolete attributes from table markup: border,
cellpadding, and cellspacing. These changes should have no visible
effect.
- To test the changes to the reports dictionary, go to Reports -> View
dictionary. The table of dictionary definitions should look correct.
- To test the changes to MARC plugins, you must be using MARC21. Open a
new or existing MARC record in the standard cataloging editor and
trigger the tag editor for 006 and 008. The tables in each popup
window should look correct.

This patch removes the use of event attributes from several templates
where the attributes were used to handle deletion operations. I've
grouped these changes in one patch because each template had only small
changes to be made.
Unrelated change: Reformatted the "no news items" message which is
displayed if there are no news items.
To test, apply the patch and test deletion operations on the following
pages. Clicking "delete" should prompty you to confirm. Test both the
confirm and cancel actions.
- On the staff client home page, test deletion of a news item.
- On the patron lists page, test deletion of a patron list.
- In the patron card creator, choose Manage -> Images. Test the "Delete"
button for a single image.
- On the news page, test deletion of a single news item.
- On the news page, test deletion of multiple items.

koha-tmpl/intranet-tmpl/prog/en/modules/suggestion/suggestion.tt

This patch makes it possible to limit a patron search to
search just for surnames.
To test:
- Apply the patch
- Add two patrons, called e.g. "John Doe" and "Doe John"
- Go to Patrons in the Intranet
- Make sure you have selected "Search fields" = Standard
- Search for "john" and verify both patrons show up
- Search for "doe" and verify both patrons show up
- Set "Search fields" = Surname and search for "john".
"Doe John" should show up, but not "John Doe".
- Set "Search fields" = Surname and search for "doe".
"John Doe" should show up, but not "Doe John".

This patch refactors some of the JavaScript in the SMS cellular
providers template so that event attributes are removed from the markup.
This patch also updates the markup for the "Edit" and "Delete" buttons
to make them consistent with similar buttons in Koha.
To test you must have the SMSSendDriver system preference set to
"Email."
- Go to Administration -> SMS cellular providers.
- If necessary, create a new SMS cellular provider.
- Edit at least one patron to use an SMS cellular provider under "Patron
messaging preferences."
- In the table of SMS cellular providers:
- Click the "Edit" button. The correct edit form should be displayed.
- Click the "Delete" button next to a provider which is not used by
any patrons. You should see an error message, "Are you sure you want
to delete [provider name]." Test both cancel and confirm.
- Click the "Delete" button next to a provider which is in use by one
or more patrons. YOu should see an error message, "Are you sure you
want to delete [provider name]? X patron(s) are using it!" Test both
cancel and confirm.
Followed test plan, works as expected.

This patch updates the transport cost matrix template to eliminate the
use of event attributes (onclick and onblur) in favor of JS separate
from the markup.
To test, apply the patch and go to Administration -> Transport cost
matrix.
- Click in any table cell. Form fields in the cell should activate.
- Check and uncheck the "disable" checkbox. The form field should be
correctly disabled and enabled.
- Fill various enabled fields and submit the form to confirm that data
is saved correctly.

This patch removes the use of event attributes in the markup in favor of
attaching events in JavaScript.
This patch also revises the SRU search fields mapping template
considerably while correcting multiple HTML validation issues:
- Corrected label/id pairs.
- Corrected incorrect capitalization.
- Removed redundant <legend>
- Restructured form so that it displays in two columns.
Also changed in the z3950 servers template: Replaced empty [%
script_name %] variable with actual path.
To test, apply the patch and go to Administration -> Z39.50/SRU servers/
- In the list of servers, select Actions -> Delete. You should be
prompted to confirm your choice. Test both confirming and cancelling.
- Create or edit an SRU server.
- After entering text in the server name field, moving to the next
field should trigger transformation of that text to upper case.
- On the SRU Search fields mapping line, clicking the "Modify" button
should trigger a popup.
- In the "Modify SRU search fields mapping" popup:
- The fields should display in two columns.
- All labels should be correctly associated with corresponding
inputs.
Followed test plan, works as expected.

This patch replaces custom client-side form validation with use of the
jQuery validation plugin. Besides reducing the amount of code in the
template, this allows us to eliminate use of "onclick."
This patch also makes a correction for HTML validity: <option value=""
/> is not accepted. I have also added an id attribute to a <select>
which lacked it.
To test, apply the patch and go to Administration -> Patron attribute
types.
- Test creating a new patron attribute type. Try to submit the form
without a code, description, or both. You should be prevented from
doing so.
- Test editing an existing patron attribute type. You should not be able
to remove the description and have it save successfully.

Bug 15206 undid the changes Bug 15692 made to memberentrygen.tt. This
patch re-removes the JS from the template and moves the additions made
by Bug 15206 into members.js.
Two other minor edits: Changes to quiet JSHint errors.
To test, apply the patch and repeat the test plan for Bug 15692. Confirm
that the following interactions still work on the patron entry form:
1. clear_entry(): With ExtendedPatronAttributes enabled, the "Clear"
link next to any attribute form field should work to clear the field.
2. clone_entry(): With ExtendedPatronAttributes enabled and a repeatable
attribute defined, it should be possible to click the "New" link to
add another instance of that attribute's entry field.
3. update_category_code(): With ExtendedPatronAttributes enabled and an
attribute defined which is limited to a single patron category,
changing the patron category selection should correctly show or hide
the attribute entry form.
4. select_user(): When adding or editing a patron with a "Child"
category it should be possible to search for and select a guarantor
to add to the record by clicking the "Set to patron" button.
Selecting a new guarantor should change the text of the button from
"Set to patron" to "Change."
5. noEnterSubmit(): This function should be correctly preventing you
from hitting "ENTER" in any form field to submit the form.
6. guarantordelete(): When adding or editing a patron with a "Child"
category, it should be possible to clear existing guarantor
information by clicking the "Delete" button. Clicking the "Delete"
button should change the text of the adjacent button to "Set to
patron."
7. select_city(): With one or more cities defined it should be possible
to use the drop-down menu of cities to populate the city, state, zip,
and country fields.
8. Date of birth entry should have a maximum date limit of yesterday.
The drop-down menu of years should go back 100 years.
9. Selecting a date of birth should replace the date format hint with a
message showing the user's age in years or months. Test with values
which will show an age of 1 month, between 2 and 11 months, 1 year,
and more than one year.
10. Client-side validation rules should be in effect, requiring that a
valid email address be entered in the primary email, secondary email,
and alternate address email fields.
11.When editing a patron, the "Add manual restriction" link should
display the form for adding a manual restriction, and clicking the
"Cancel" link should hide it.
Followed test plan, everything works OK.

In order to bring the OAI sets configuration template into compliance
with coding guideline JS9, this patch changes with way some JavaScript
events are handled by moving JS handling out of the HTML markup.
To test, apply the patch and go to Administration -> OAI sets
configuration.
- Create or edit a set.
- Test the "Add description" link. Clicking it should add a
description textarea.
- Test the "Remove" link associated with multiple description lines.
Click them should remove the corresponding textarea.
- Test that additions and removals are saved correctly.

This patch modifies references to the patron categories administration
page in two places: Replacing "Patron types and categories" in the
administration sidebar menu and replacing "Patron category
administration" in the heading of categories.tt. Both should now read
"Patron categories."

This patch updates the patron category entry form so that it is
validated using the staff client's globally-included form validation
plugin. This patch also moves the page's JavaScript into a separate
file.
To test, apply the patch and go to Administration -> Patron categories.
- Create a new category. Try to submit the form with the following
fields empty:
- Category code
- Description
- Both enrollment period fields
- Category type
- Try to enter data in the category code field which contains characters
other than letters, numbers, hyphens, or underscores.
- Try to enter non-numeric data in the following fields:
- Enrollment period in months
- Age required
- Upper age limit
- Enrollment fee
- Hold fee
- Try to submit the form with both enrollment period fields filled.
Followed test plan, works as expected.

In order to bring the acquisitions basket template into compliance with
coding guideline JS9, this patch changes with way some JavaScript events
are handled by moving JS handling out of the HTML markup.
Also changed: Replaced the use of [% script_name %] (which is
undefined), with the actual script path.
To test, apply the patch and locate an open basket in Acquisitions which
has more than one order in it.
- Test the "Managed by: Add user" button and verify that it triggers a
popup where you can search for patrons.
- Select two or more patrons to be managers for the basket.
- Close the search windows and confirm that your choices appear on the
basket page.
- Click "Delete user" next to one of the patrons. The patron should be
removed.
- Click "Save changes" and verify that your choices are correctly
saved.
- Click "Delete user" next to one of the remaining patrons. The patron
should be removed.
- Click "Save changes" and verify that the patron stays deleted.
- In the list of orders, click the "Transfer" link and confirm that the
correct pop-up window is triggered.
- Test the "Delete this basket" button in the toolbar. A modal window
should be triggered.
- In a basket with orders:
- The "Delete basket and orders" button should do what it says,
leaving associated bibliographic records intact.
- The "Delete basket, orders, and records" button should do what it
says, deleting any bibliographic records associated with orders.
- In a basket with no orders:
- The "Delete basket" button should work correctly.
- Test the "Create edifact order" button.
- Click "Send EDI order" on the resulting page.
- In the resulting dialog, "Are you sure you want to generate an
edifact order," verify that both the "Yes" and "No" options work
correctly.
Followed test plan, works as expected.

Correcting to a file I missed: circ/offline.tt. This patch corrects the
path to offlinecirc.js.
To test, go to Circulation -> Built-in offline circulation interface.
There should be no errors in the console warning of missing files. The
"Check out" link should work correctly.

This patch moves the JavaScript files in prog/en/js to prog/js.
JavaScript files do not need to be in the directory which is processed
by the translator.
To test, apply the patch and visit various pages in the staff client to
confirm that JavaScript files are still loading correctly.
Revised: I intended for this to be built on top of Bug 15883 as well as
Bug 16242. Now it is.

There are 2 prefs to drive this feature: StaffAuthorisedValueImages and
AuthorisedValueImages. AuthorisedValueImages is not added by
sysprefs.sql and does not appear in updatedatabase.pl, we could easily
imagine that nobody uses it.
With XSLT enabled, the feature is only visible on a record detail page
at the OPAC, if AuthorisedValueImages is set. Otherwise you need to turn
the XSLT off. In this case you will see the images on the result list
(OPAC+Staff interfaces) and OPAC detail page, but not the Staff detail
page.
This patch suggests to remove completely this feature as it does not
work correctly.
The ability to assign an image to an authorised value is now always
displayed, but the image will only be displayed on the advanced search
if defined.
Test plan:
Confirm that the authorised value images are no longer visible at the
opac and the staff interfaces.
The prefs should have been removed too.

This patch removes images from the staff client templates which are no
longer used.
To test you must (as of 2016-04-22) apply the patch for Bug 16241.
Apply the patch and search for references in the Koha code to
the removed images. You should find none.
The staff client CSS file has been updated to remove obsolete references
to image files. These old styles were made obsolete by the switch to
Font Awesome icons.
Revision removes reference to glyphicons-halflings-koha.png from
circ/offline-mf.tt

The staff client CSS is not language-specific, so it can be moved out of
the en/ directory and thus not be duplicated for every translation.
In order to be able to have a generic path to the YUI CSS files, the YUI
directory is moved by this patch to the staff client's lib/ directory.
To test, apply the patch and visit various pages in the staff client.
Look in particular at pages which include more than the standard CSS.
For example:
- The staff client login page.
- The staff client home page.
- Patron -> Set permissions.
- The advanced cataloging editor.
- Acquisitions -> Vendor -> Basket groups.
- Tools -> News -> Edit news.
- Administration -> System preferences.

When creating a dictionary for a date column, there is a "date range" /
"all dates" radio buttons and 2 inputs to select the date range. These
inputs should be hidden if "all dates" is selected.
Test plan:
1/ Create a new dictionary on reports/dictionary.pl
2/ Select a date column (borrowers.dateofbirth of instance)
3/ On step 4, the start/end of the date range inputs should be
hidden/shown depending of the radio buttons.
Works as expected.

The include file datatables-strings.inc is no longer necessary. Its
contents are now in datatables.inc. This patch corrects two references
in comments to datatables-strings.inc (replacing it with datatables.inc)
and removes the obsolete file.
To test, apply the patch and load any page with a DataTables-enabled
table configured to show pagination buttons, e.g. Saved Reports.
Pagination labels like "Next," "Previous," and "Showing X of X..."
should be correct.
Search the codebase to confirm that no references remain for
datatables-strings.inc.

In Administration -> Classification sources there is some embedded
JavaScript which checks for empty form values. This patch removes that
JS and adds validation using the globally-included validation plugin
instead.
To test, apply the patch and go to Administration -> Classification
sources.
- Click to add a new classification source and confirm that you cannot
submit the form with empty required values.
- Edit an existing classification source and confirm that you cannot
empty a required field and submit the form.
- Repeat the previous two steps with filing rules.

This allows creation of special baskets that include standing orders.
These orders do not have a known quantity (and may not have a known
price in advance). Upon receipt, the received items are split into a new
completed order.
Test plan:
1) Run updatedatabase.pl.
2) Run prove t/db_dependent/Acquisition/StandingOrders.t . (and the
other Acquisition tests).
3) Create a new basket, mark it as a standing order basket.
4) Add an order to this basket, and notice that the quantity field is
missing (and thus not required).
5) Receive items for this order, and notice that the original order is
unchanged. The new child order line should have the correct price
and quantity information.
(Note: the QA tools output what seems to be a spurious spelling error
for Test::More's "isnt" in StandingOrders.t.)

This patch adds a heading to the error dialg displayed when a barcode
has been submitted for checkout which doesn't exist. This patch also
modifies the markup of the error dialog in order to make error a little
more clear to sighted users.
To test, apply the patch and submit a barcode for checkout which does
not exist. The resulting error dialog should have a heading, "Barcode
not found."

Some librarians have requested that the same warning on the check out
page be placed on the patron details page if a patron's fines exceed the
system preference noissuescharge.

This follow-up reformats the checkout screen so that checkout settings
like specify due date, on-site checkout, and override high holds are
grouped in a panel which is hidden by default. Clicking a link shows all
the available settings.
Also modified in this patch: The default color for div.hint has been
made a little darker for readability.
To test, apply the patch and clear your browser cache if necessary.
- Check out to a patron who is not blocked from checking out.
- Click the "Checkout settings" link and confirm that the settings panel
is displayed.
- Test that the settings in the panel behave as expected.

NOTE: This patch is a work in progress. It does not address the issue of
checkout setting being hidden even if they are active.

This wraps both checkboxes (in the confirmation dialog and checkout
interface) in a class of "circ-override-high-holds" so they can be
easily hidden.

This patch allows the high holds loan length decrease to be overridden
either by a checkbox that remembers its setting during a series of
checkouts, or by a one time use override checkbox that will show
in the warning popup if a checkout is affected by high holds.
Test Plan:
1) Set up a checkout that will be affected by decreaseLoanHighHolds
2) Attempt to check out an item
3) Check the override checkbox
4) Note the checkout date is not reduced
5) Return the item
6) Start a new checkout for the patron
7) Check the "Don't decrease lean length based on holds" checkbox
8) Check out the item
9) Note you are not warned about the high holds decrease
and that the checkout length is not reduced

This enhancment allows a library to prevent patrons from checking out
items if his or her guarantees own too much.
Test Plan:
1) Apply this patch
2) Find or create a patron with a guarantor
3) Add a fine to the patron's account
4) Set the new system preference NoIssuesChargeGuarantees to be less
than the amount owed by the patron
4) Attempt to check out an item to the guarantor, you will either
be warned or prevented from checking out based on your system
settings.

Sorting by the "summary" column does not produce the preferred results.
Title beginning with 'a', 'an', or 'the' are sorted using those
articles.
Test plan:
1) Place an order for 2 items with the titles "Alpha" and "The Alpha",
along with some other records with titles starting with something
between 'a' and 't', and 't' and 'z'
2) Sort the "pending orders" table, note the incorrect sorting
3) Receive all the items
4) Sort the "already received" table, note the incorrect sorting
5) Apply the patch
6) Repeat steps 1-4, note the corrected sorting
7) Check acqui/basket.pl for correct sorting
8) Check acqui/invoice.pl for correct sorting

2) Confirm that the Add Order to basket section at the bottom is gone.
Confirm the add to basket button in the toolbar still works as
expected
3) Confirm that when you make your browser shorter, the toolbar follows
