This patch addresses the case where OnSiteCheckoutsForce is enabled and
the user is checking out to a patron who is blocked from checking out.
Instead of showing the 'specify due date' form (which is disabled) this
patch hides it and highlights the on-site checkout controls.
This patch adds some CSS and consolidates some redundant CSS.
To test, load a patron for checkout under the following conditions:
1. OnSiteCheckoutsForce is off and patron is not blocked from checkout
2. OnSiteCheckoutsForce is off, patron is blocked from checkout (for
being expired or restricted).
3. OnSiteCheckoutsForce is on and patron is not blocked from checkout
4. OnSiteCheckoutsForce is on and patron is blocked from checkout

Checked these 4 conditions, plus that if a specified due date was allowed, that it was enforced.
I noted that the on-site checkouts seemed to take longer to process, but this probably isn't the place for that sort of complaint.

This template followup makes several changes to markup and text:
- Replace "Bibliographic reference" with "Title"
- Replace "Callnumber" with "Call number"
- Replace "Home branch" with "Home library"
- Replace "Holding branch" with "Current location"
- Replace "Location" with "Shelving location"
- Replace "Issues" with "Checkouts"
- Replace "Indifferent" with "Ignore"
- Replace "&" with "&" where necessary
- Correct page title and breadcrumbs
- Remove label "for" attribute from labels which do not directly target
a form field
- Correct label "for" attribute on labels which should target a form
field
- Correct date format hint
This patch also makes one change to the way the page display works:
The search results section is now in a separate div which uses a
different grid rule, allowing it to take up the full width of the
screen. To keep the page headers from looking weird I've changed the
markup so that each section has its own header.
To test, perform a variety of searches and confirm that the output in
both Screen and CSV views looks correct.
Confirm that search results which are output to the screen are formatted
nicely and that the "edit search" links work correctly to show the
search form. Submitting a new search after editing a search should hide
the form and redisplay the search results table.
Followed test plan, works as expected.

Item search is available at catalogue/itemsearch.pl (link is in
catalogue/search.pl)
It only uses SQL (not Zebra)
* Use DataTables and server-side processing to be able to filter on
individual columns after the first search is done.
* Allow to export results in CSV
* With Javascript disabled, search form still works (and CSV export too)
There is the possibility to define "Custom search fields" in a new admin
page admin/items_search_fields.pl (link is in admin/admin-home.pl)
A custom item search field is defined by:
* a name: its unique identifier
* a label: the text displayed to the user
* a MARC field/subfield: the field/subfield to query (it uses
ExtractValue)
* an authorised values list (optional): if defined the list is displayed
in the search form
New Perl dependency: Template::Plugin::JSON::Escape
Test plan:
1/ Apply the patch and run updatedatabase.pl
2/ Go to advanced search (staff interface), then click on "Go to item
search"
3/ Play with the search form! :)
In the 3rd fieldset you can add as many fields as you want and combine them with
boolean operators (AND, OR). You can use SQL jokers characters (%, _)
You can output to screen (in a DataTables table) or to a CSV file.
4/ In the DataTables table, play with filters and try sorting columns.
5/ Disable Javascript (with Firefox: extensions NoScript or YesScript,
or in about:config 'javascript.enabled' = false
6/ Reload the search page and do some searches on screen output. (there
is no sorting or filtering features, but there is still pagination)
7/ Try again CSV output.
8/ You can re-enable Javascript.
9/ Go to Administration > Items search fields
10/ Add a new field. Example for title (in UNIMARC):
Name: title
Label: Title
MARC field: 200
MARC subfield: a
Authorised values category: None
(add another field with an authorised values category to see the
difference).
11/ As you are there try to update and delete some fields.
12/ Go back to items search form. You can see in the 3rd fieldset that
your fields have appeared in the selects.
13/ Try searching on them.
14/ I think you're done :)

This feature will allow libraries to specify that, when an item is returned,
a local hold may be given priority for fulfillment even though it is
of lower priority in the list of unfilled holds.
This feature has three settings:
* LocalHoldsPriority, which enables the feature
* LocalHoldsPriorityPatronControl, which selects for either tha patron's
home library, or the patron's pickup library for the hold
* LocalHoldsPriorityItemControl, which selects for either the item's
holding library, or home library.
So, this feature can "give priority for filling holds to
patrons whose (home library|pickup library) matches the item's
(home library|holding library)"

Checks in the circulation template for on-site checkouts preferences did
not take into account the possibility that someone might have
accidentally turned OnSiteCheckouts off but left OnSiteCheckoutsForce
turned on. This patch amends the template logic so that it works
correctly for various combinations of settings.
To test, apply the patch and test the following combinations of
circumstances.
Testing using both a patron who is blocked (expired, restricted, etc)
and a patron who is not blocked, test with...
1. OnSiteCheckouts is on, OnSiteCheckoutsForce is on
2. OnSiteCheckouts is off, OnSiteCheckoutsForce is on
3. OnSiteCheckouts is off, OnSiteCheckoutsForce is off
4. OnSiteCheckouts is on, OnSiteCheckoutsForce is off

This patch implements the In-House Use feature for Koha.
It adds:
- 2 new sysprefs:
'In-House Use' to enable/disable this feature
'In-House Use Forced' to enable/disable the feature for *all* users.
- 2 new columns issues.inhouse_use and old_issues.inhouse_use
- Datatable on the circulation history pages (readingrec) at the OPAC
and the intranet.
A new checkbox in the Circulation tab. If checked, the issue become a
in-house use (in the statistics and issues tables).
When you check it, the due date changes to the today date.
The syspref "In-House Use Force" allows to force the in-house use to
permit the checkout even if the borrower is debarred or others problems.
In the issue table, a new string (in red) marks the issue as "in-house use".
The circulation history contains 3 tabs : "all", "checkout" and
"in-house use" (OPAC and intranet).
The cronjob script:
If AutomaticItemReturn if off, a library would like not to do a transit
operation manually. This script (to launch each night) do returns
for a specific branches.
Test plan:
1/ Execute the updatedatabase entry
2/ Enable the 'In-House Use' pref.
3/ Checkout a biblio for a patron and check the 'in-house use' checkbox.
4/ Check that the due date is the today date (with 23:59) and is not modifiable.
5/ Click on the check out button and check that the new check out
appears in the table bellow with the "(In-house use)" string.
6/ Go on the circulation history pages (readingrec and opac-readingrec)
and try the 3 tabs. In the last one, your last checkout should appear.
7/ Check in.
8/ Check readingrec pages.
9/ Choose a debarred patron and check that you cannot checkout a biblio
for him.
10/ Switch on the 'In-House Use Forced' pref

The method C4::Budgets::GetBudgetHierarchy() retreives from database budgets in an array containing a tree of budgets (parent -> children -> children, ...).
The code generating this tree with the SQL results needs optimization because when a lot of budgets exists, it can run during several minutes.
This patch rewites the code using a recurive method.
Test plan :
- Create a active budget "MyBudget" with 1000
- Click "Add found" on this budget
- Create a found "Parent" with 1000, set you has owner
- Click "Add child found" on found "Parent"
- Create a found "Child" with 100, set you has owner
- Click "Add child found" on found "Child"
- Create a found "Grand-child" with 10, set you has owner
|
- Create a new acquisition basket
- Add a new order with "Child budget"
- Select "Child" found and set all costs to 2
- Save order
- Add a new order with "Grand-Child budget"
- Select "Child" found and set all costs to 2
- Save order
- Close basket
- Perform the receive of the two orders
|
- Go to founds of "MyBudget"
=> You see a table with 3 founds
- in "Fund filters", select no library and uncheck "Show my funds only" and click on "Go"
=> You see a table with "Parent" found
- Click on small arrow left of the fund code of "Parent"
=> You see a new line with "Child" found
- Click on small arrow left of the fund code of "Child"
=> You see a new line with "Grand-Child" found
|
=> You see in "Grand-Child" row "Base-level spent" = 2 and "Total sublevels spent" = 2

On editing a fund, if it has children, a new checkbox appears "Set this

This follow up makes some corrections to the previously added files and
adds some functionality to the diff: A Javascript diff plugin highlights
the differences between the records in the two columns.
Corrections made: Converted tab indentation to spaces, corrected GPL
statement.
File organization: Moved showdiffmarc.pl and .tt to /tools/ to match the
location of the page with which it functions,
tools/manage-marc-import.pl. Corrected permissions on showdiffmarc.pl
accordingly.
Updates to the template: Added standard includes inclucing header menu
and breadcrumbs; converted custom layout to YUI Grid standard.
To test, follow the test plan previously defined:
- Stage a MARC record batch which contains at least one record match for
something already in your catalog.
- Locate the staged MARC record batch in Tools -> Manage staged records
and click to view the contents.
- Find the record which matched an existing record and click the "View"
link in the Diff column.
- The compare screen should include the header menu and breadcrumbs. The
differences between your staged file and the existing record should be
higlighted.
- You should be able to return to the MARC batch you were previously
viewing by following the link in the breadcrumbs or the link at the
bottom of the page.
- Confirm that the "About" page includes information about the new
JavaScript plugin on the Licenses tab.

subfield. Something like:
610 1 $a Aliment -- Approvisionnement -- Europe -- Histoire
Or add such a field to an existing record.
(2) Check that OPACXSLTDetailsDisplay is set to 'default'
(3) See this record on OPAC detail page. You must see 'Subject: ' => nothing
after the 'Subject' label. If your record contains several 610 fields
without $9, the | character will appear, separating no content.
(4) Apply the patch.
(5) Reload the page seen at step (3): subject is displayed now.

With the OPAC prog template going away, the only remaining use of the
yuipath preference is on the basketgroups template. The yuipath
preference should be removed and the local path hard-coded.
This patch:
- removes yuipath handling from C4/Templates.pm
- removes the preference from sysprefs.sql
- deletes the preference via updatedatabase.pl
- removes the preference from the staff client preferences file
- removes unused references to the YUI assets from the help file
header include
- adds the local YUI asset path to acqui/basketgroup.tt
To test, apply the patch and run the database update. View some online

Two XSL files in the bootstrap theme contain hard-coded paths to the
prog theme directory. This patch adds a query of the opacthemes system
preference and builds the path based on the returned value.
To test in a MARC21 system:
Create or locate a record which contains a subject which is linked to an
authority record. View the detail page for that record in the bootstrap
OPAC and confirm that there is a magnifying class icon next to the link
for that subject heading. Inspect or right-click the image and "View
image" [FF. "Open image in new tab" in Chrome] to verify that the image
being shown is from the bootstrap theme directory.
Also modified: The NORMARC XSL for the detail page which has been
changed in the same way. I did not test it in a NORMARC catalog.

This patch removes hardcoded 'prog' from themelanguage on C4/Templates.pm
It adds a new syspref OPACFallback to hold the prefferred fallback
theme for new themes with minimal changes.
This does not brake CCSR if new syspref value is 'prog',
using 'bootstrap' works somehow, but with strange results.

4) Need to test theme/language fallback
a) translate for your preferred language (xx-YY)
b) enable language on opac
c) go to opac, select that language
d) login on opac, go to personal details
e) remove koha-tmpl/opac-tmpl/bootstrap/xx-YY/modules/opac-memberentry.tt
d) reload page, must load in English
f) click other member options, must load on translated language
(can use other pages, ccsr, prog or bootstrap)
5) Do a similar test but for a staff page, enable lang, switch to it,
rm koha-tmpl/intranet-tmpl/prog/xx-YY/modules/admin/admin-home.tt,

This patch adjusts two instances where Koha says that an email has
been sent while it is just enqueued (put in the message queue). The
crontab example still suggests to run process_message_queue once an hour
and the manual even speaks about 1-4 hours.
In the process of selfregistration and sharing a shelf, I have adjusted
the text "has been sent" to "will be sent shortly". This covers imo
the one-hour frequency.
When writing this patch, I have examined all calls of EnqueueLetter;
I only found these two occurrences to be of interest.
Note: I would recommend to increase this frequency in the documentation,
but consider that for now to be outside the scope of this report.

The OPAC's list of a logged-in user's tagged titles displays title and

It would be nice if there were a simple way to access the name and
branchcode of the currently logged in library, as well as the logged in

1) Remove the whitespace surrounding the loggedinusername span
2) Wrap the logged in branch name with a span that has an id
3) Add the branchcode in a hidden span that has an id
Test Plan:

This patch fixes the "Publication date" and "Acquisition date"
searches when using non-QueryParser and QueryParser searches.
It adds structure attributes to the template, which is consistent
with how phrase searching is currently handled.
It removes unnecessary code from Search.pm, adds some necessary
code which is consistent with existing code, and adds a lot of
explanatory comments.
_TEST PLAN_
Before applying:
0) Turn off QueryParser
1) Try a "Publication date" or "Acquisition date" search from the
staff client advanced search.
2) Note that even though the description on the result page makes
it seem like you're doing an index-specific search, you're actually
doing a keyword search. You can verify this by checking the 008
from positions 7 to 10 for "Publication date" or "Date accessioned"
on items for "Acquisition date".
3) Turn on QueryParser
4) Try doing the searches from Step 1.
5) A "Publication date" search should probably produce zero results
After applying patch:
6) Keep QueryParser on
7) Try doing the searches from Step 1.
8) Notice that you're actually getting results consistent with
your search (ie the 008/7-10 shows the date you searched for,
and there is a "Date accessioned" in items which matches your
search)
9) Turn off QueryParser
10) Note that your results are exactly the same as step 8
(N.B. this is because QueryParser is falling back to non-QP mode
instead of producing a bad query.)

The system preference TimeFormat decides if times are formatted in 24
hour or 12 hour format. The issue at hand is that this changes the time
description for fines. Let us assume the time format is currently 24
hour, and there are overdue items with accruing fines. When the format
is changed to 12 hour, and fines.pl is run, it will begin looking for
fines with a 12 hour format. Since there are no, it will create a new
fine and you will now have two fines for the same item!
There are solutions which require database manipulation:
1) Update all existing fines from 24 hour to 12 hour format
2) Delete all existing accruing fines so they are all regenerated the
following night
The same situation applies to DateFormat.
The accounts rewrite ( Bug 6427 ) will resolve this issue, as it does
not look for existing fines based on the description.
I believe the best course of action until bug 6427 is pushed to master
is to add a warning to the system preference to not alter it on a
production server with existing fines.

Form fields in the staff client which are required should be configured
to be so by doing several things:
- Add a class "required" to the field's <label>
- Add a class "required" to the form field
- Add 'required="required"' to the form field
- Apppend a <span class="required">Required</span> after the form field.
Several places in the templates are missing the <span>. This patch adds
them.
To test, apply the patch and view the following pages to confirm that
the "Required" text appears:
- Acquisitions -> Add an order to a basket from a new (empty) record.
Title, quantity, and fund should indicate they are required.
- Administration -> Authority types -> New authority type. The
authority type and description fields should indicate they are
required.
- Administration -> Authority types -> MARC structure -> New tag. The
tag field should indicate it is required.
- Patron types and categories -> New category. Category code,
description, and category type should indicate that they are required.
FIXME: Enrollment period is required but the user must choose one. I'm
not sure how to handle that clearly.
- Tools -> CSV profiles. Profile name, profile type, and profile MARC
fields should indicate they are required on both the new and edit
forms.
- Administration -> Manage MARC modification templates. Under "Create a
new template" the name field should indicate that it is required.
- Tools -> Batch patron modification -> Submit a batch for editing. Any
fields which are required according to your BorrowerMandatoryField
system preference should indicate that they are required.
Patch behaves as expected.

The holds queue report shows codes for item shelving location and for
library transfer location. This patch adds template plugin handling of
both these fields to display their full description.
To test, make sure you have one or more items in your holds queue which
have a shelving location. Rebuild your holds queue if necessary and view
it. Items which have a shelving location should show the description
instead of the code. The "send to" column should show the library name
instead of code.

The checkouts table is no longer keeping "today's checkouts" in the
order they were scanned.
Test Plan:
1) Create 3 records "Test 1", "Test 2" and "Test 3" each with one item
2) Check out the items to a patron in the order "Test 2", "Test 1", "Test 3".
3) Note the order is incorrect.
4) Apply this patch
5) Refresh the page
6) Note the order is now correct

Note that the bug already exists before bug 12550. I checked on a 3.14.x

Now that a patron's checkouts are loaded asynchronously, we can further
improve Koha's performance by not loading the checkouts table when it is
not needed. For example, if a librarian is checking out 5 items to a
patron, we really don't need to load the table during the scanning of
items 1 to 4, just for item 5. Another example would be browsing to the
patron details table in order to change a patron's password.
Test Plan:
1) Apply this patch
2) Browse to circulation.pl for a patron
3) Note the table is not loaded automatically
4) Click the "Show checkouts" button
5) Note the checkouts table loads
6) Check the "Always show checkouts immediately" checkbox
7) Reload the page, the checkouts should now load immediately
8) Repeat steps 3-7 for the patron details page ( moremember.pl )

There was a <script language="javascript"> tag.
It was cleaned up to be <script type="text/javascript">.
Also, the div was being chopped because the script was
in the middle of the div. Moving it to head solved the issues.
This is difficult to test, since the printslip is triggered
when you click Finish.
TEST PLAN
---------
1) Home -> Koha administration -> Global system parameters -> OPAC
2) Set the OPAC system preference 'opacthemes' to 'bootstrap'.
3) Start the self-checkout client (/cgi-bin/koha/sco/sco-main.pl)
4) Log in.
5) Check something out.
6) Change the address url text box to
.../cgi-bin/koha/sco/printslip.pl?borrowernumber=##&print=qslip
Where ## is your borrower number which just checked something out.
7) Click Cancel on the print dialogue

This allows the search box to be replaced by some custom HTML, useful
when you're needing to integrate with some other search system, and
don't want to maintain a template change across upgrades.
Test plan:
* Install patch
* Look at the OPAC, see that nothing has changed.
* Change the OpacCustomSearch syspref to something like <h1>Zuul</h1>
* Look at the OPAC again, you can no longer search, there is only Zuul.

As bugs 12724 and 12726 did on OPAC, this patch adds similar changes to
Intranet Results and Details XSLT view. It shows information from tag 264 on
the Publisher line of Intranet Results and Detail.
Test plan (see also bug 12742 and the rules mentioned there):
[1] Add tag 260 and some 264s to your MARC21 record.
[2] Check the display of Intranet Results.
[3] Check the display of Intranet Detail.

This patch adds the same information to the Publisher line of OPAC Results
as bug 12724 did on OPAC Detail.
To accomplish this and reduce repeated code, two XSLT routines (named
templates) are moved from OPACDetail to MARC21slimUtils.
Test plan (see also bug 12742 and the rules mentioned there):
[1] Add tag 260 and some 264s to your MARC21 record.
[2] Check the display of OPAC Details. Should not have changed.
[3] Now check also the display of this record in OPAC Results.
[4] Change some indicators in the record. Check OPAC Results again.

This patch adds selected information from tag 264 to the Publisher line
on the OPAC detail XSLT view (MARC21). This includes a label, and the
subfields abc.
If Publication tag 260 exists, it adds information. If tag 260 does not exist,
it creates a 'publisher' line. (NOTE: Probably, both fields will not both be
present, but this patch can deal with that..)
Instead of showing all 264 tags, it picks the preferred one based on the
following rules (using both indicators; see LOC description):
[1] Try to select a Publisher -- Latest. Pick first one.
[2] Else try to select a Publisher. Pick the last one.
[3] Else try to select an other one (Producer, Manufacturer, ..) with Latest.
Pick the first one of that.
[4] Otherwise: Pick the last 264 tag.
Test plan:
[1] Add one 260 and multiple 264 tags to your record.
[2] Check display in OPAC detail XSLT.
[3] Change some indicators, subfields of the 264s.
[4] Check display again, following the above rules.
Go back to step 3 a couple of times.
[5] Remove tag 260. Check display again.
Followed test plan. Patch behaves as expected.
