This patch adds a missing include of doc-head-open.inc.
To test, apply the patch and export a batch of patron cards. The modal
view for downloading the card batch PDF should work correctly.
Validating the iframe's source should show no relevant errors.

This patch updates various unrelated templates to use the Bootstrap
grid. In each case, confirm that the indicated page looks correct.
This patch also corrects a couple of capitalization errors and removes
an unused template: virtualshelves/merge.tt.
- Tools -> Patron card creator -> Manage -> Card batches
- Export a batch
- The pages inside the modal window should look correct: Both the "X
batch(es) to export" screen and the "download exported batch(es)"
one.
- Tools -> Patron lists -> Edit list
- The patron list add/edit form should look correct.
- Disable plugins in koha-conf.xml.
- Tools -> Plugins
- The "Plugins disabled" page should look correct.
- Enable plugins in koha-conf.xml
- Tools -> Plugins -> Upload plugins.
- This page should look correct.
- Tools
- The tools home page should show three columns: Patrons and
Circulation, Catalog, Additional tools.
- At viewport width below 768 pixels content should reflow into one
column.
- virtualshelves/merge.tt has been removed as it is unused. Search the
codebase for references to it. There should be none.

This patch updates various unrelated templates to use the Bootstrap
grid. In each case, confirm that the indicated page looks correct.
- Acquisitions -> Vendor -> Add to basket -> From a staged file.
- Logged-in user menu (in the upper right) -> Search history.
- With plugins disabled in koha-conf.xml, go to Tools -> Tools plugins.
- With the EasyAnalyticalRecords system preference set to 'Display,'
view a bibliographic record.
- Choose Edit -> Link to host item.
- Submit a barcode to be linked.
- Configure a MARC subfield (e.g. 100$a) to use the
unimarc_field_225a_bis plugin.
From the MARC edit page, trigger the plugin and confirm that the
page in the popup window looks correct. Confirm that changes made in
the popup window are saved to the corresponding field in the editor.
- Administration -> Funds -> Edit a fund.
- Click 'Select owner.'
- Search for a patron.

This patch modifies the holds template so that JavaScript is included in
the footer.
To test, apply the patch and initiate the process of placing a hold.
Throughout the process JavaScript-based interactions should work: Patron
autocomplete, datepickers, DataTables, cancel confirmations, etc.

This patch modifies the staff client label creator templates so that
JavaScript is included in the footer instead of the header.
To test, apply the patch and test the JavaScript-driven features of
each modified template: All button controls, DataTables functionality,
form validation, etc.
This patch also modifies the templates to use the Bootstrap grid instead
of YUI, and removes obsolete "text/javascript" attributes from
<script> tags and "text/css" attributes from <style> tags in the
modified templates.
To test, apply the patch and test the following interactions:
- Creating and managing layouts
- Creating and managing batches
- Creating and managing templates
- Creating and managing printer profiles
- Creating quick spine labels

This patch modifies several acquisitions templates to use the Bootstrap
grid instead of YUI.
This patch also removes obsolete "text/javascript" attributes from
<script> tags in the modified templates.
Staff client CSS is modified in this patch so that elements which were
styled based on the sidebar's "yui-b" class will work with <aside>.
To test, apply the patch and view the following pages, confirming that
they look correct at various browser widths:
- I don't have EDI set up, so to test acqui/edi_ean.tt I navigate
directly to /cgi-bin/koha/acqui/edi_ean.pl. It's only the page
structure we're worried about.
- Acquisitions -> Orders search
- Acquisitions -> Vendor -> Invoices -> Invoice search
- View an invoice
- Manage invoice files (Preference AcqEnableFiles must be enabled).
- Acquisitions -> Late orders
Patch applies and operates as described.

This patch modifies the call number browser plugin so that JavaScript is
in the footer instead of the header.
This patch also makes some unrelated changes: The page title has been
corrected; DataTables code has been removed as it was unused.
To test, apply the patch and configure a MARC framework to use
cn_browser.pl as the plugin for tag 952 subfield o.
Open an item for editing. The "Full call number" field should have an
active "..." link next to it. Clicking this should trigger a popup
window with the Call number browser. Confirm that submitting a new
search from this window works correctly.

This patch makes creating a manual credit from the UI record the account
offset as 'Manual Credit', and properly set account_offsets.credit_id
instead of account_offsets.debit_id.
To test:
- Create a manual credit (of 'Credit' type) for a known patron (acevedo?)
- Run:
$ sudo koha-mysql kohadev
> SELECT * FROM account_offsets;
=> FAIL: The account offset for the manual credit has type=Manual Debit,
credit_id=NULL and debit_id=accountlines_id
- Run the atomic update:
$ updatedatabase
- Run:
$ sudo koha-mysql kohadev
> SELECT * FROM account_offsets;
=> SUCCESS: The account offset has been corrected and now has
type=Manual Credit, credit_id=accountlines_id and debit_id=NULL
- Create a new manual credit (of 'Forgiven' type) for a known patron
- Run:
$ sudo koha-mysql kohadev
> SELECT * FROM account_offsets;
=> SUCCESS: The account offset has been stored correctly as a credit!

This follow-up adds code to move the mouse cursor to the modal window's
textarea when the modal is displayed.
To test, apply the patch and test the process of adding/editing notes on
an order. Confirm that the focus moves to the textarea when the note
editor modal window is shown.

This patch modifies the acquisitions basket page so that links to add or
edit vendor or internal notes trigger a modal with the notes edit form
instead of redirecting to a different page. This is a markup change only
-- The form still submits to modordernotes.pl.
To test, apply the patch and view a basket in acquisitions which has
multiple orders. Test various note controls: Add internal note, Add
vendor note, Edit internal note, edit vendor note.
Confirm that the operations work correctly with multiple orders in the
basket.

The grace period is used with the serialsUpdate.pl cronjob. It will
generate the next issue and set the one before to 'Late' with
an optional note.
There is on trace of a 'waiting' status for serials.
To test:
- check help file on the subscription edit form for
the description of the 'Grace period'.

At this time, only payments may be voided. There is no reason to have this limitation. There are situations where a librarian may need to void an accidental writeoff, or perhaps void an automatic credit that was created by Koha. For illustration, this is directly from a partner library:
"For example a lost book refund becomes a credit on account. Presently the credit may be applied to a fine for a different item charged to patron. We perform a write off to clear the remaining credit, then add the fine back to the account and give the patron a refund for the lost/refunded amount. Our accounting system ask that we keep the Lost funds/refunds separate from all fines."
Test Plan:
1) Create a fine and write it off
2) Note there is no 'void' button for the writeoff
3) Apply this patch
4) Note the buttons now show
5) Test each button on a writeoff

The label was part of the holds.js file. As .js files are never
translatable it needs to be moved to template level.
Test plan:
- Place a hold on an item
- Go to the patron account
- Click on the Suspend button on the holds tab
- View the modal, the label before the date field "Suspend until:" is
now translatable.

This patch improves the display of the extra metadata that may be
returned by an ILL supplier.
The display of the metadata has been moved from the "Toggle full
supplier metadata" link at the bottom of the page to a button on the
right of the request toolbar, labelled "Display supplier metadata".
Clicking this button opens a modal displaying the metadata.
To test:
1) Ensure ILL is enabled and you have at least one request
2) From the "View ILL requests" page, click "Manage request" on a
request
3) Click the "Display supplier metadata" button on the right of the
toolbar
4) Observe that a modal opens containing the metadata

Some librarians have requested the ability to batch add items to a
course using the same settings for all items.
Test Plan:
1) Apply this patch
2) Create a new course
3) Click the new 'Batch add reserves' button
4) Enter some valid and invalid barcodes in the text box, add some settings
5) Submit the batch, note the results list added items and invalid barcodes
6) Note the valid items were added to the course

In Breeding.pm we let Z3950Search return the xslt handler error codes back
to the template. They are converted to text messages by using an new include
file (added for opac and intranet now). The generic xslt_err code is now
obsoleted.
In Record.pm the errstr call is removed. The croak is done with the new
error code in err. This seems sufficient.
Test plan:
[1] Run Breeding.t
[2] Run Record.t
[3] Add a nonexisting xslt file to one of your Z3950 targets. Search on that
target and check if you see a error 'XSLT file not found'.
The bonus is these error messages are now translatable as they are in
the templates

On the results list in staff the 'Holds (x)' link always shows
independent of the permissions of the staff user.
This patch tightens the permission checks on the result page
to explicitly check for the place_holds permission.
To test:
- Create a staff user with place_holds permission
- Check the result list, you should see 2 links to the
holds page:
- 'Place holds' on top of the results list
- 'Holds (x)' at the bottom of each entry in the results
list
- Verify both links work
- Create a staff user without place_holds_permission
- Without the patch you'll see the second link,
but it will lead to a permission error
- With the patch you'll still see the 'Holds (x)', but
it will no longer be a link.
- Go to the detail page of a record with an existing hold.
- Repeat test with both staff users.
- One time the Hold information in the bibliographic information
should show as a link, the other time as a simple text.
Displaying the information about existing holds still make sense
as this is the current beheviour.

This patch makes a third stab at resolving this issue by reorganizing
the authorities toolbar buttons to more closely match the bibliographic
toolbar buttons:
- "New from Z39.50" has been added to the "New authority" dropdown.
- "Edit" is now a dropdown, like on the bibliographic detail page:
- Edit record
- Edit as new (duplicate)
- Replace record via Z39.50/SRU
- Delete record
To test, apply the patch and go to the authorities module. Testing with
existing Z39.50 authority sources configured:
- On the authorities home page and the authorities search results
page, the "New authority" menu should have a "New from Z39.50" link.
- View the details for an authority record. The menus should appear as
described above. Test each option.
Remove all Z39.50 authority servers and test again. The "New from
Z39.50" link should no longer appear.

This patch removes some leftover references to a file which no longer
exists. In the OPAC, loading-small.gif was included in CSS which was
never used. In the staff client, loading-small.gif should have been
corrected to spinner-small.gif.
To test, apply the patch and go to Tools -> Batch record modification.
- Submit a batch of records to modify
- In the table of titles which will be modified, click the 'Show MARC'
button.
- The modal preview window should show "Loading" and an animated
spinner before the MARC record is loaded.

This patch reorganizes the way sidebar menus get highlighted based on
the current page. A global function is added to handle most cases.
Individual menu-handling scripts have been modified to handle only the
edge cases which aren't covered by the global one.
A new class is added to the global CSS file so that highlighted menu
links can be custom-styled.
To test, apply the patch and clear your cache if necessary.
View various pages to confirm that current-page-highlighting in the
sidebar menu is working correctly and that there are no JS errors in the
browser console. For example:
- Administration -> Currencies and exchange rates.
- Acquisitions -> Invoices
- Tools -> Patron lists
- Tools -> Export
And with CircSidebar turned on test various circulation pages, e.g.
- Circulation -> Set library

organization name is "Name" instead of "Surname."

This patch reindents the template for the patron detail page,
moremember.tt:
- Trailing spaces removed
- Indentation changed to a consistent 4 spaces
- Markup indentation made more consistent
To test, view the patron detail page. There should be no visible
difference before and after the applying the patch.
HTML validation before and after the patch should return the same
results.

This patch uses Template Toolkit's size() method to add a count to
the bibliographic detail page's holdings and images tabs.
To test, apply the patch and view the detail page for a record in
the staff client. Check under the following conditions:
- The SeparateHoldings system preference is set to "Don't separate"
- The holdings tab should show the correct item count.
- The SeparateHoldings system preference is set to "Separate"
- The "[Library] holdings" tab and "Other holdings" tabs should
have the correct item counts.
- With LocalCoverImages enabled the "Images" tab should show the
correct count of attached images. Test with zero or more attached
images.

This patch modifies the page for adding a title to a list so that the
"Add to existing list" option doesn't appear if there are no lists
defined.
TEST PLAN

This patch also adds a white version in case someone finds it useful.
To test, apply the patch and clear your cache if necessary.
- View any page in the staff client and confirm that the Koha logo in
the header area looks correct.
- Add the following to IntranetUserCSS:

This patch adds a system preference check around the call to the
JavaScript include which sets the bibs_selected cookie. With
BrowseResultsSelection disabled, the cookie should never be set.
To test you should be using a browser with a tool for inspecting
cookies. View the cookies for your Koha domain under each of these
conditions, clearing cookies between each step:
Without the patch applied:
- With BrowseResultSelection enabled, search for any item. Your cookie
tool should report that you have a bibs_selected cookie stored.
- With BrowseResultSelection disabled, search for any item. You should
have a bibs_selected cookie.
With the patch applied:
- With the BrowseResultSelection system preference enabled, search for
any item. Your cookie tool should report that you have a
bibs_selected cookie stored.
- With BrowseResultSelection disabled, search for any item. You should
have no bibs_selected cookie.

The code to show the ISBN and ISSN is repeated between the search results
and the detail view. Create a function to show the ISBN/ISSN, and call
that instead.
Test plan:
1) Apply patch
2) Search for any records, check that the ISBN and ISSN are shown
correctly
3) Go to biblio detail pages, check that the ISBN and ISSN are shown
correctly

Bug 20400 added a routing list tab to the patron account in the
OPAC using Koha::Object.
This patch switches the routing list tab in the patron account
in intranet over to the new code. It also adds an additional
column showing the position of the patron on the routing list
and fixes the search.
To test:
- Create some subscriptions with routing lists
- Take a look at the patron accounts of several patrons having
- no entries on routing lists
- 1 entry on a routing list
- entries on several routing lists
- Make sure the display works correctly.
- Search for a subscription and make sure search works.

Improvements:
1) Index settings moved from code to etc/searchengine/elasticsearch/index_config.yaml. An alternative can be specified in koha-conf.xml.
2) Field settings moved from code to etc/searchengine/elasticsearch/field_config.yaml. An alternative can be specified in koha-conf.xml.
3) mappings.yaml has been moved from admin/searchengine/elasticsearch to etc/searchengine/elasticsearch. An alternative can be specified in koha-conf.xml.
4) Default settings have been improved to remove punctuation from phrases used for sorting etc.
5) State variables are used for storing configuration to avoid parsing it multiple times.
6) A possibility to reset the fields too has been added to the reset operation of mappings administration.
7) mappings.yaml has been moved from admin/searchengine/elasticsearch to etc/searchengine/elasticsearch.
8) An stdno field type has been added for standard identifiers.
To test:
1) Run tests in t/Koha/SearchEngine/Elasticsearch.t
2) Clear tables search_fields and search_marc_map
3) Go to admin/searchengine/elasticsearch/mappings.pl?op=reset&i_know_what_i_am_doing=1
4) Verify that admin/searchengine/elasticsearch/mappings.pl displays the mappings properly, including ISBN and other standard number fields.
5) Index some records using the -d parameter with misc/search_tools/rebuild_elastic_search.pl to recreate the index
6) Verify that you can find the records
7) Put <elasticsearch_index_mappings>non_existent</elasticsearch_index_mappings> to koha-conf.xml
8) Verify that admin/searchengine/elasticsearch/mappings.pl?op=reset&i_know_what_i_am_doing=1 fails because it can't find non_existent.
9) Copy etc/searchengine/elasticsearch/mappings.yaml to a new location and make elasticsearch_index_mappings setting in koha-conf.xml point to it.
10) Make a change in the new mappings.yaml.
11) Clear table search_fields (mappings reset doesn't do it yet, see bug 20248)
12) Go to admin/searchengine/elasticsearch/mappings.pl?op=reset&i_know_what_i_am_doing=1
13) Verify that the changes you made are now visible in the mappings UI

If a user doesn't have circulate_remaining permissions, but has borrowers:
- checkouts tab is hidden
- details tab is visible
- holds tab on details is visible, but results in an error
The problem is that the svc/holds script requires circulate_remaining_permissions.
To test:
- Create 2 staff users with and without circulate_remaining_permissions
Both need borrowers permission
- Go to the details tab in a patron's account who has holds
- Verify that you get a datatables error for the staff patron without
circulate_remaining_permissions
- Apply patch
- Verify that now the holds tab is no longer displayed for this patron

Bug 18403: Use patron-title.inc when hidepatronname is used [SPECIFIC for issuehistory]
GetBiblioIssues does a union all with issues and old_issues, so we
should old_issues as well.
To make the join on the items table we need to define the item and
patron methods. For consistency the relationships have been redefined
(item instead of itemnumber, borrower instead of borrowernumber) in the
DBIx::Class definition.
This is not perfect but I think the best way to provide an easy to
backport patch.
It highlights that we need improvements in this area.

This patch changes how the submit and cancel buttons appear in the MARC
008 plugin window. The controls are now displayed as buttons in a
floating toolbar.
To test you must have MARC tag 008 configured to use the
marc21_field_008.pl plugin.
- Apply the patch and open an existing or blank record in cataloging.
- Click the plugin link next to tag 008 to trigger the popup window.
- Confirm that "Save" and "Cancel" appear correctly in a toolbar.
- Scroll down the page to confirm that the toolbar "sticks" to the top
of the window.
- Confirm that the "Save" and "Cancel" buttons work correctly.

When searching an order, histsearch.pl page, you see if exists the backetgroup as a link.
This link is composed of "basketgroup.pl?booksellerid=xxx", it must also contain "basketgroupid=xxx" and "opa=add".
See Bug 11429 for example.
Test plan :
1) Create an order in a basket and add it to a basketgroup
2) Search for this order, you get to page histsearch.pl
3) Check clicking on basketgroup id leads to basketgroup details page

After review of the code it turns out that the management permission
that has been marked as deprecated a long time ago, does not have
any function.
The patch removes all remaining code related to it.
To test:
- Make sure you have a patron with the management permission
- Apply patch
- Run database update
- Check everything still works as expected
Bonus:
borrowers.flags is recalculated for patrons with management
permission.
To check:
- Create some 'permission twins' with and without management
permission
- Note the value in borrowers.flags
- Apply patch, don't run database update
- Save permissions from GUI for one of the twins
- Note the newly calculated value
- Run database update
- Now both twins should have the same borrowers.flags value

In short, it is possible to 'over-writeoff' a fee such that the value of the fee is now a credit.
Test Plan:
1) Attempt to writeoff a single fee, set the amount input to more than
the amount of the fee.
2) Note the writeoff makes the fee go negative.
3) Apply this patch
4) Attempt to repeat step 1, you should be unable to write-off an
amount more than the amount outstanding for the fee!

This patch fixes a regression after bug 14695.
This patch adds itemnumber and barcode as optional params in ReserveSlip used
by hold-transfer-slip.pl to generate HOLD_SLIP. This is for ReserveSlip to be
able to generate correct slips when items in multi-item holds are checked in.
Test plan:
1) activate a circulation rule with multi-item holds
2) Place two holds on same biblio for patron
3) for debugging, either use browser console to observe POST request and responses
or use info from reserves, e.g. reserve_id in the HOLD_SLIP
4) checkin two items from same biblio on pickup branch
5) note that both holds are effectuated, but reserve_id is the same on both slips
6) also note that there is no itemnumber or barcode in the requests from returns.pl
7) Apply this patch
8) repeat 2-4
9) note that reserve_id is now different on the two slips
and/or:

This patch changes the descriptions in the include file (GUI) and
in the default SQL.

There is no accountlines.biblionumber field, if the account line is
linked to an item, accountline-details.pl will explode with:
Template process failed: undef error - The method biblionumber is not
covered by tests!

Bug 19453 "fixed" the fund validation that never actually worked. This validation should be removed altogether instead. It is overly simplistic and simply checks to see if each record in the batch has a fund selected regardless of whether that record will be imported or not.
In addition, the code completely ignores items generated by MarcItemFieldsToOrder such that even if items on that page have a fund selected, the javascript forces the librarian to make a selection from the left-hand fund pulldown even though it will not be used.
Considering this bad validation is basically 'new' as it never worked before, the most sensible course of action would be to 'undo' the change and remove the validation.
Test Plan:
1) Add records to a basket from an import batch
2) Select only some of those items in the batch
3) Note Koha will not let you import them unless you set funds for *all*
records in the batch
4) Apply this patch
5) Note Koha no longer forces a budget to be selected in the pulldown

Perl scripts all require circulate_remaining_permissions, while
in the template we were checking for edit_borrowers.
Now the print pull down will only be visible if the patron has
circulate or circulate_remaining_permissions.

with either circulate or circulate_remaining_permissions
and without edit_borrowers.

This patch makes a minor correction to the markup of the lost items

When a fund is created or edited and does not have a owner yet, the
name of the patron will not be displayed when selected.
The HTML element the JS code expects is not present in the DOM.
Test plan:
- Create a fund, set a owner
- remove the owner, edit, etc.
- Save
- Edit again
Make sure it works as expected.

This patch adds a required JS asset to the patron API key interface.
Without it, JS-based functions in the toolbar do not work.
To test you must have RESTOAuth2ClientCredentials enabled.
- From a patron detail page, choose More -> Manage API keys.
- Test the toolbar buttons on this page, especially "Search to hold"
and the various print options.

As we don't have a fix yet to link to the right translated manual,
this adds /en to the links from the help files to the manual to
make them work again.
Check with both patches applied, that the links work.
You will have to change 17.11 to 18.05.

The numbering in front of the chapter file names has been removed,
so the links need to be adapted accordingly.
Note:
Testing this in master currently won't work for 2 reasons:
- We are still using 17.11 as version variable, will be 18.05 later.
- We are missing the lanugage code before /html and this leads
to an outdated version of the 18.05 manual.

entries.
Also, use Koha::UploadedFile->temporary_directory to know the fallback
value.

koha-conf.xml. It also mentions the effectively used tmp dir.

In the staff client on a kohadevbox:
1) Enable the HouseboundModule system preference.
2) Enable the EnableBorrowerFiles system preference.
3) Go to a patron detail page.
-- note the Home library is shown.
4) Go to Fines tab (left pane)
-- Home library is still shown.
5) Click each of the four horizontal tabs
(Account, Pay fines, Create manual invoice,
Create manual credit)
-- Home library not visible for both create tabs
and the account tab
6) Click the 'Create manual invoice' tab, and create
some kind of entry.
7) On the 'Account' tab, the table has a 'Details' button.
Click that.
-- Home library not visible.
8) Click the 'Details' tab in the left pane.
9) Click 'More' button and choose 'Delete'
-- Home library not visible when asked for delete
confirmation.
10) Cancel that, and if you know how to actually
set up the Norwegian system preferences you can
figure out how to test the nl-search change.
After seeing all these not visible, apply this patch.
Repeat all the steps, but this time the Home library
should be visible.
Works OK.

This patch makes the staff client UI respect the
RESTOAuth2ClientCredentials syspref.
To test:
- Make sure RESTOAuth2ClientCredentials is "Don't enable"
- Go to a patron's detail page
=> SUCCESS: The 'More' dropdown doesn't show the API keys management
link.
- Enable RESTOAuth2ClientCredentials
- Reload
=> SUCCESS: The 'More' dropdown shows the API keys management link
- Click on the API keys management link
=> SUCCESS: You can edit the api keys
- Disable the syspref
- Reload
=> SUCCESS: You are presented an error 400 page.
- Sign off :-D
