This patch replaces occurrences of CGI::scrolling_list with
untranslatable labels. It also fixes capitalization.
To test
1. Go to Administration > Authority types,
click 'MARC structure' of any auth type,
click 'subfields' for any Tag >= 010,
clic 'Edit subfields'
Check pulldowns 'Managed in tab' and 'Select to display or not'
2. Apply the patch
3. Reload and verify functionality of both pulldowns
4. Check that strings are not present on staff PO file

The SQL column headers is stored into the columns.def file.
This file is not managed by the translation script.
This patch makes possible the headers translation.
Note: The translation xml tags were added to avoid all lines being put
on a single line.
Test plan:
1/ update your po file
cd misc/translate;
perl translate -f columns update LANG # Replace by another language here
2/ translate header columns (search "columns.def" in your po file).
3/ install the translated columns.def
perl translate -f columns install LANG # Replace by another language here
4/ go on the report module > create a new report > next > next
5/ change the language
on the 3rd step, you should see the column header translated.

On ordered.pl and spent.pl, the itemtype codes are displayed, instead of
descriptions.
Links for the ordernumber should be changed. In ordered.pl, we are
redirected to the receive page. In spent.pl, the links are deleted.

When order is being created from purchase suggestion:
- Budget/fund stored in suggestion record (if any) is not retained
on order page, system always defaults to 'Select a fund' even if some
fund was already chosen for a suggestion on the earlier stage.
- If there was a price given to, and stored within suggestion record,
initial prices calculations on order page are not working properly
('Replacement cost', 'Budgeted cost' and 'Total' show as 0.00 or blank).
As a workaround - to force correct price recalculation - user needs
to manually alter and then re-alter some price-related fields (e.g.,
quantity or vendor price).
This patch fixes both issues.
Test plan:
1) create a suggestion: choose some buget, enter something in 'Price'
and 'Quantity' fields,
2) try to make an order from this suggestion, to confirm/replicate
aforementioned problems,
3) apply patch,
4) make an order from previously created suggestion again, observe
that both issues are now resolved.

This fixes bootstrap and prog by modifying the description displayed
in the OPAC's detail of serials.
RM NOTE: this patch does not cover the case where custom serial
frequencies have been defined.
TESTING to reproduce
- create/find a serial with a 1/week periodicity (4 in the database)
- Find it in the opac-detail.pl, click "more details" at the bottom
- validate the string. Before the patch, it will say:
"The current subscription began on 2013-12-06 and is issued every 3
weeks for 26 issues"
The "every 3 weeks" is clearly wrong.
In fact any periodicity chosen would display a wrong description, not
matching the staff interface.
After the patch, the display is corrected.
As a bonus, the "every 2 years" now has a description, where it had
none before.

Show 'Unknown' when planneddate and publisheddate cannot be calculated
Also fixes SQL query in misc/cronjobs/serialsUpdate.pl that was still
using "periodicity != 32" to exclude irregular subscriptions from
results
Test plan:
1) Create a subscription in the serials module. Make sure to choose:
Frequency = Irregular
2) Test the prediction pattern, first publication date is set to
"First issue publication date" field, others will show as
'unknown'
3) Save the subscription
4) Check the created issue - it will show a published date and a
planned date (same as "First issue publication date" field)
5) Receive the issue and check the next generated issue, planned
date and published date should show as 'Unknown'
6) Generate a next issue, planned date and published date should
also show as 'Unknown'

- Editing the issue from the serial collection page leaves the
date fields empty.
- Receving the issue, setting the status to 'Arrived' the Expected on
date is set to 'today' automatically. Date published has to be
entered manually (maybe something we could improve later
- subscription detail > issues tab shows Uknown.
- t/db_dependent/Serials/GetNextDate.t pass.

This patch moves JavaScript functions used for managing basket groups
to a file. This has the effect of putting the last (active) use of
the YUI JavaScript library by the staff interface in one file:
koha-tmpl/intranet-tmpl/prog/en/js/basketgroup.js

reopen, edit, export as csv).

This patch fixes two problems with the generation of
links to execute a Z39.50 search from the staff client
catalog and cataloguing search results page.
First, if using URI::Escape 3.30 or earlier, performing a simple search
with a double quote (e.g., "histoire algerie"), the Javascript is broken
in results page because of :

strQuery += "&" + "title" + "=" + ""histoire%20algerie"";
Second, the encoding of non-ASCII characters in the search
term was broken.
This patch moves URI escaping from Perl to template with uri TT filter.
Test plan :
- To reproduce the issue with double quotes, the server
must be running URI::Escape 3.30 or earlier; the current
version of URI::Escape properly escapes double quote.
- In staff interface, perform a search with double quotes
that will return no result, ie "aaa xxx"
=> Without patch, javascript is broken
=> With patch, javascript is not broken
- Click on Z3950 button on results page
=> Without patch, the Title input is empty
=> With patch, the Title input contains the search terms
Additional test:
Do a search with something like äöü and then click Z3950
button on results page.
Without patch, encoding is broken in Z3950 form
With patch, encoding is correct.

This patch modifies the patron summary printout so that
only fines with an outstanding balance (either positive
or negative) are displayed. Also, the entire fines section
is displayed only if there is a non-zero balance.
This is consistent with the logic for displaying the loans
and hold requests tables, and avoids cluttering the summary
with historical fines.

The template for OverDrive search results in the Bootstrap OPAC doesn't
show the cart, lists, or login links because the template's checks of
related system preferences relies on [% USE Koha %], which is not
present. This patch adds it.
To test, enable the bootstrap theme and OverDrive integration
(OverDriveClientKey, etc.). Perform a search in the OPAC and click to
view results from your OverDrive library. Confirm that cart, lists, and
login links appear in the header.

This was tricky to catch. In current implementation, Bug 6755
introduced in C4/Templates.pm as condition to send the array of
hashrefs of languages that (@$languages_loop<2), but with one
language group that condition is false, there is only one
element in that array.
This patch changes that condition to have more than one language
selected, grouped or not.
Also send $bidi value always, that was only sent if there is
more than one group language.
To test:
1. Translate to en-GB and en-NZ, or simply do mkdirs
on intranet-tmpl/prog and opac-tmpl/bootstrap
2. Go to Administration > System preferences > I18N
enable those languages on staff/opac
3. Check that language chooser is nowhere to be found
4. Apply the patch
5. Reload staff/opac, now you can see language chooser
NOTE: I made little changes on staff, but can't replicate
bootstrap colors for selected/unselected language. Someone
need to touch css files to make it happen. But that is
current behavior.

The recent jQueryUI upgrade broke keyboard shortcuts in the staff client
because of changes to the jQueryUI API. This patch fixes the problem.
To test, apply the patch and clear your browser cache if necessary.
- View any page in the staff which includes header search tabs for check
out, check in, or catalog search (staff client home page or
circulation page for instance).
- Test the keyboard shortcuts: Alt-q for catalog search, Alt-u for check
out, Alt-r for check in.
- Each keyboard shortcut should select the correct tab.
Followed test plan, patch behaves as expected.

On OPAC Bootstrap detail page, by clicking Print link on the right the
page is printed. But the printed page contains HTML <a> anchors URL
attribute. It's useless, and unreadable. It isn't the case with prog
theme.
This patch hides all <a> href attributes when printing any OPAC page.

When using Chrome on Mac OS X, form submits are triggered by hitting
enter when focused on a select. This is not an issue with any other
combination of browser and operating system that I am aware of.

Several forms that take patron or item barcodes as input stopped
preventing the enter key (which is often sent by barcode scanners)
from submitting the form.
The code binding the CSS class noEnterSubmit to the handler preventing
submission when hitting the enter key was no longer triggered. This is
because this class is added using JavaScript in $(document).ready() and
the keypress event listerning is also set using $(document).ready().
This patch corrects by using JQuery live() with will set event handlers
for HTML generated with JavaScript.
Also sets noEnterSubmit to use the checkEnter(e) function, as that has
broader browser compatibility. Also corrects a small bug, for IE,
window.event must be used, not event alone.
Test plan :
- Flush browser cache (Crtl+F5) to update js files
- Go to patron creation : members/memberentrygen.tt
- Type a text in all mandatory inputs
- Type some caracters in a non mandatory input
- Press Enter key
=> Without patch : the form is submitted
=> With patch : the form is not submitted
- Try to set several lines in a textarea
=> It works (checks that in this case enter key is allowed)
- Test other pages usign noEnterSubmit class :

Jonathan Druart raised the following three issues:
1/ subtags was bold before patch
2/ 1 dash existed between tag and tag name
3/ A space has been added ("606 #1 - Sujet nom commun"
becomes "606 # 1 Sujet nom commun", "101 ## - Langue"
becomes "101 # # Langue")
This patch addresses them in the following way:
1/ You will note that @ was not bold on the 0 tab.
Every other tab were bold. By making the similar template
into a procedure based on the 0XX tab, bolding was lost.
This patch bolds all subtags including the @, so that
the visible change is minimized.
2/ The dash was programmatically added in at the code stage
previously. This bug fix splits the the single concatenation
mess into parts which can be styled. This puts the dash back
into the template. However, it should be noted that the
spacing for the 0 tab's tag and tag description will have an
extra space after the hypen that was lacking before.
3/ <span>...</span><span>...</span> is different than
<span>...</span>
<span>...</span>
The later puts that extra space. This patch fixes that.

In Catalog > MARC Details, the HTML in the different tabs is slightly
inconsistent and doesn't differentiate different elements, making CSS
styling complicated or impossible:
* tab 0 has <p class="subfield_line"> whereas all the other tabs
have just <p>
* all other tabs wrap the subfield character in <b> tags, except
for tab 0
* the MARC tag title is a single div with the tag, the indicators
and the field description.
Attached patch folds all the tab outputs into a single TT BLOCK,
which is then reused. It also marks the separate parts of the tag
title in their own spans.
The output should be nearly identical to previous behaviour, minus
a dash from the tag title descriptions - it was used to separate
the tag from the description. The description can now be styled
separately from the tag itself, so the dash can be added with CSS,
if necessary.
Revised test:
1) Find a biblio
2) Edit the record so that there is something in every tab (0-9).
3) Save and then click 'MARC' in the left pane to view the
MARC details.
4) Note the contents of each tab.
5) Apply patch
6) Compare the MARC details output to what was noted. Should
be the same, minus a dash in each of the tag title descriptions.

If you have search suggestions enabled in the OPAC and click the "Check
for suggestions" link before it is replaced with the JS-rendered output
you will get a template error. This patch corrects it.
To test you must have the bootstrap theme enabled and at least one
OPAC plugin enabled in Administration -> Did you mean?
- Perform a search in the OPAC.
- Look for a box which says "Not what you expected? Check for
suggestions"
- Click the "Check for suggestions" link before it disappears. If
necessary disable JavaScript in your browser so that the link doesn't
disappear.
- The search suggestions page should render without errors.

- When OpacAllowPublicListCreation is turned off, the permissions
don't show.
- When OpacAllowPublicListCreation is turned off, we could also hide
the Category pull down in the [new list] pop up, as there is only
Private left as an option.
- Maybe we should move the new list link outside of the tabs?
When OpacAllowPublicListCreation is turned off, but public lists
exist, the link 'new list' will still show on the public list tab,
but a private list will be created.

This patch ensures that patrons continue to have the ability to make
their public lists private for any public lists they control that were
created before the library turned the OpacAllowPublicListCreation
system preference off.
To test:
[1] Ensure OpacAllowPublicListCreation is on.
[2] As a patron, create a public list in the OPAC. Also, create
a private list.
[3] Turn OpacAllowPublicListCreation off.
[4] Back in the OPAC, verify that the public list can be edited
and that there are drop-downs for category and permissions.
Also verify that there is a warning that the patron cannot
change it back if they convert a public list to private.
[5] Edit the private list created in step 2. Verify that the
category and permissions drop-downs are not displayed.

If patron creation of public lists is disallowed by the
OpacAllowPublicListCreation system preference the "category" option
should be hidden altogether instead of showing a <select> with "private"
as the only option. This patch hides category and permissions controls
when OpacAllowPublicListCreation is set to "don't allow."
To test you must have the virtualshelves system preference enabled.
Apply the patch and log into the OPAC. Test:
- With OpacAllowPublicListCreation enabled, create a new list. You
should see options for setting category and permissions. Saving the
new list should complete correctly and save the right settings.
- With OpacAllowPublicListCreation enabled, edit an existing list. You
should see the same options and saving your changes should work
correctly.
- With OpacAllowPublicListCreation disabled, create a new list. You
should only see fields for title and sort. Saving this list should
complete correctly and save the right settings.
- With OpacAllowPublicListCreation disabled, edit an existing list. You
should be able to edit only title and sort settings. Saving your
changes should work correctly.
Repeat your tests for both prog and bootstrap themes.
Revision: Existing public lists can be edited and retain their public
status even if OpacAllowPublicListCreation has since been disabled. This
preserves the behavior previous to this patch.

This patch fixes a big ergonomic issue.
Note: to me, the "New list" action should be outside the tabs.
It is confusing to have a "new list" into the public lists tab when it
is not possible to create new public lists.

In the calendar there are some strings in a JavaScript function which
are not properly wrapped in a function for translation. This patch
corrects this.
This patch also corrects some minor validation issues and spelling and
grammar issues, including those covered by Bug 12055.
To test, apply the patch and view the calendar in Tools -> Calendar.
When you hover your mouse over a day in the calendar you should see a
title tooltip indicating what kind of day/holiday it is and showing the
title of the holiday, if any.
To test that the strings are now being picked up for translation,
run translate update on a po file and confirm that the affected strings
are now present: "Weekly holiday," "Yearly holiday," etc.

Bug 10649 introduced a new include file for adding DataTables-related
JavaScript assets. This patch adds use of this include file to the
batch modification and batch deletion pages.
Minor text changes: Corrected capitalization.
Apply the patch and test the following:
- On batch modification and batch deletion, submit multiple barcodes or
item numbers. On the results page the title column has been configured
to use the "anti-the" filter to exclude articles from sorting. Sorting
on all columns should work correctly.
Edit: Put back checkboxes plugin which was accidentally removed.

Bug 10649 introduced a new include file for adding DataTables-related
JavaScript assets. This patch adds use of this include file to all
circ-related pages which use DataTables.
Apply the patch and test the following pages to confirm that table
sorting works correctly:
- Circulation
- The UseTablesortForCirc system preference must be enabled.
- Check out to a patron with existing checkouts. Choose a patron who
is a guarantor to another patron with checkouts in order to test the
relatives' checkouts table.
- The checkouts and relatives' checkouts tables have been modified to
exclude articles when sorting of titles.
- Hold ratios - The title column has been configured to exclude articles
from sorting
- Transfer to receive
- Holds queue
- The title column has been configured to exclude articles when
sorting
- The date column has been modified to use the title-string filter for
sorting. An unformatted date is now passed from C4::HoldsQueue.pm to
the template, where the KohaDates filter is used for formatting.
Sorting is based on the unformatted date.
- Holds awaiting pickup
- The "available since" column has been configured for sorting on an
unformatted date. waitingreserves.pl now passes the unformatted
date to the template, and formatting is done using the KohaDates
filter.
- The title column has been configured to exclude articles when
sorting.

OverDrive has recently changed its APIs to include "http://" in the URLs
it returns. This patch removes the "http://" on the Koha end so they
aren't doubled.
Test plan:
1. Run an OverDrive search on the OPAC.
2. Check the links, they should start with "http://http://"
3. Apply this patch.
4. Rerun the search, the links should now be correct.

As it happens, the AllowRenewalLimitOverride serves to both allow
operators to override renewal blocks when the renewal exceed the
maximum renewal count or when the renewal is premature. This
patch adjust the wording to reflect the expansion in meaning; if
it turns out that folks want to distinguish between overriding the
maximum renewal count and overriding premature renewals, a new
system preference can be added later.

This patch ensures that the new staff interface for renewals
recognizes when premature renewals are requested. If the
AllowRenewalLimitOverride system preference is enabled, staff members
are able to override the block:
To test:
[1] Set up a loan policy with a "no renewal before" value and
check out an item.
[2] In the renewal page, verify that attempting to renew the loan
results in an error forbidding the renew.
[3] If AllowRenewalLimitOverride is enabled, the operator should
also be given the option to override the block.

This patch modifies CanBookBeRenewed, so that based on
issuingrules.norenewalbefore a new error "too_soon" can be returned.
Also adds a new subroutine GetSoonestRenewDate.
To test:
1) Create an issuing rule with "No renewal before" set to value X
and "Unit" set to days.
2) Test the following steps for both:
Home > Patron > Patron details
Home > Circulation > Checkouts
3) On the checkout page, test for today's issues as well as previous
issues. (Check something out on one day and something else on the
next day, then do the testing.)
4) Confirm that items can't be renewed if current date is more than
X days before due date.
5) Confirm that the date and time of the soonest possible renewal are
displayed in the format specified by global sysprefs "dateformat"
and "TimeFormat".
6) Confirm that items can be renewed if "No renewal before" is
undefined or current date is X or less days before due date.
7) Confirm that if the number of allowed renewals is exceeded
"Not renewable" is displayed, no matter what "No renewal before"
is set to.
8) Test the same things with "Unit" set to hours.

This follow-up corrects a JavaScript error by converting the sorting
configuration to be class-based
(http://wiki.koha-community.org/wiki/DataTables_HowTo#Sorting_dates_regardless_of_date_format_preference).
I have also changed the DataTables configuration to allow for pagination
and JS-based filtering.
To test, apply the patch and view the list of News items. Your browser
should report no JavaScript errors. Table sorting, pagination, and
filtering should work correctly.

This adds the ability to specify whether staff, OPAC,
or slip news entries apply to all libraries or just a
particular library.
With the branch parameter added to key functions in
C4/NewsChannels.pm, function calls in C4/Members.pm,
mainpage.pl, opac/opac-main.pl, tools/koha-news.pl, and
t/db_dependent/NewsChannels.t were needed.
Some license texts were updated.
Templates were modified to display, allow for entry and editing
of the branches selected.
TEST PLAN

1) Having logged into the staff client, is the news displaying
correctly? Have you entered a news item which should not
display for this branch of logged in user?

In the staff client, when you went to Home -> Tools -> News
the default 'Display location' is 'All'. Everything is correctly
displayed. However, if you change the filter it filters the
table correctly, but does not set the dropdown value to match.
This patch corrects this.

This patch fixes the odd behavior when noItemTypesImages is set
to 'Don't show'. Just a misplaced </div>
To test:
1) Set syspref noItemTypeImages to 'Don't show'
2) Go to Admininstration > Item types
3) Edit some item type, you will view a display
similar to the attached image
4) Apply the patch
5) Reload the page, now the display is fixed
6) Change syspref to 'Show' to check that
the display is also good

This patch upgrades the version of jQueryUI included in the Koha staff
client from v1.8.23 to v.1.10.4. The upgrade introduces a few minor API
changes which require the updates in this patch:
- In CSS, the term "active" is used instead of "selected"
- Autocomplete functions use slightly changed parameters
Changes to the default jQueryUI CSS allows us to remove some instances
of "!important" from jQueryUI-related CSS in the staff client's main CSS
file.
To test:
Testing changes to autocomplete:
- Enable the CircAutocompl system preference. Try searching in the
header's "Check out" tab. Autocomplete should look correct and
function correctly.
- In Circulation -> Overdues: The patron attribute authorized value
filter (must have patron attributes enabled, and a patron attribute
defined which uses authorized values.
- Course reserves -> Course -> Edit: Searching for an instructor
- In the unimarc_field_210c_bis.pl plugin:
1. Link the publisher name field in your MARC structure to
the unimarc_field_210c_bis.pl plugin.
2. Open a MARC record for editing and click the "tag editor" link to
launch the plugin.
3. Type the first few letters of a publisher which exists in your
database. You should get an autocomplete menu of publishers
which match your search.
4. Select one and click the "choose" button to fill the field in the
MARC editor.
- Tools -> Patron lists: Add a list or choose an existing list and add
patrons. Perform a search for a patron.
- Placing a hold: After choose a title and clicking "Place hold,"
search for a patron.
- Tags management: The sidebar filter for "reviewer" should let you
search by patron name.
Other jQueryUI widget changes:
- Check tabs appearance in header search, biblio detail, cataloging, and
circulation patron fines pages.
To confirm other jQueryUI widgets still function correctly:
- Check accordion (collapsing sections) in Patrons -> Patrons requesting
modifications and the MARC subfield structure edit screen.
- Check datepickers, especially in Circulation with the added timepicker.
Test a linked datepicker, for example in Reports -> Stats wizards ->
Circulation where the value in one date field affects what dates are
available in the matching field.
- Check the calendar interface in Tools -> Calendar
To confirm that the new jQueryUI default CSS is more flexible (fixing
Bug 11042), add the following CSS to your IntranetUserCSS system
preference and confirm that the header search active tab border color
changes (hash mark escaped so that it will appear in commit msg):

In Item details, when using the menu toolbar for Add To > List,
the list adding UI opens in a popup window, and also in the original
window. The original window should stay showing the item details page.
This patch corrects this behavior, which has been observed in Chromium
on Ubuntu and Chrome on Windows.

This patch correct english display for OAI-PMH:ConfFile syspref,
and makes it's strings translatable
To test:
1) On Administration > System preferences > Web Services
OAI-PMH:ConfFile syspref doesn't have description before
file box. Text after that box is not translated.
2) Choose your prefered language, xx-YY, update po files
cd misc/translator
perl translate update xx-YY
3) Look into xx-YY-pref.po for any occurence of "YAML", there is none
4) Apply the patch
5) Update po files again
6) Look into xx-YY-pref.po, now there are 2 entries
7) Also reload page from 1) and check for text before
file box.

The staff client lists template contains a warning which differs from
the same warning in the OPAC. The OPAC version is correct because it
refers to a list rather than a shelf. This patch copies the OPAC version
to the staff client template.
This patch also corrects a few of other instances where the incorrect
term "shelf" is used.
To test, apply the patch and view a list in the staff client which is
populated with items. Check the box next to one or more items on the
list and click the "Remove selected" button. You should see the message,
"Are you sure you want to remove these items from the list?"

This patch makes confirm popup text translatable. It implements a
similar function as used on OPAC deleteConfirm() and a JS var message.
This function, or variants, can also be found on other files on intranet,
I think that the only valid places are staff-global.js and help-top.inc

To test:
1) Confirm that the "cancel hold" link correctly prompts for
confirmation:
a) Place an item-level hold on a title.
b) Check in the item and confirm the hold.
c) Return to the place hold screen for that title and submit another
patron to place a hold for.
d) On the place hold screen for that patron, look at the table of
items. There should be a "cancel hold" link next to the item for
which the hold was confirmed in step (b).
e) Click "cancel hold." You should see a confirmation message.
Cancelling this dialog should cancel the operation. Confirming it
should cancel the hold.

When viewing batches of patrons in the patron card creator module the
table is not sortable. This patch adds table sorting.
The patch also makes some corrections of invalid markup and moves
informational/error messages to the top of the page rather than in a
sidebar. This change lets the table and sorting controls expand into a
wider space.
This patch also corrects a translation issue with table headers
identical to that addressed by Bug 11505.
To test, go to Tools -> Patron card creator -> Manage batches.
View an existing batch or create a new batch and populate it with
patrons. Table sorting controls should work correctly. Batch management
operations should work correctly.

This patch updates both the prog and bootstrap themes to provide better
schema.org mappings for catalogue elements in the following ways:
* More granular author attributes (one "author" property per author in records
with multiple contributors; wrap in a Person or Organization type instead of
using a simple literal value)
* Use "byArtist" instead of "author" for music recordings to respect schema.org
preferences
* Use alternateName instead of alternativeHeadline, as the former is a better
parallel to the "name" property

This patch makes the datepickers for the hold resumption date
(AKA the hold suspend until date) field only permit dates in
the future to be selected in the staff interface checkout page
and hold list pages. This makes these pages consistent with
the OPAC and the patron details page in the staff interface.
To test:
[1] Ensure that AutoResumeSuspendedHolds and SuspendHoldsIntranet
are enabled.
[2] Go to the checkout page for a patron that has at least one hold
request.
[3] Verify that the datepicker for the hold suspend until
date field only permits choosing a date in the future.
[4] Go to the page listing hold requests for a title.
[5] Verify that the datepicker for the hold suspend until

Non-standard interface features have the potential to cause confusion.
This patch brings various aspects of the patron lists add page into
conformity with other staff client pages.
- Add "select all/clear all" links for the checkboxes
- Add a "remove selected" to the top of the table (see also Lists)
- Split functionality of add from from delete form
- Hide "Add patrons" button until at least one patron has been selected
- Remove non-standard trash can icon from table's checkbox column
- Exclude checkbox column from table sorting
- Add confirmation to deletion actions
- Improve breadcrumb specificity
- Add title-string sorting to date column to accommodate sorting for all
date format types
To test, apply the patch and create a patron list.
1. Search for and select patrons for the list. Selecting a patron should
trigger the display of an "Add patrons" button.
2. Click "Add patrons" and confirm that the add process completes
correctly.
3. Search for and select a patron and also check the box next to an
existing patron. Click "Add patrons" and confirm that no patron is
removed.
4. Check that the "select all" and "clear all" links work correctly.
5. Select patrons on the list and click the "Remove selected" link. You
should be prompted to confirm your choice.
4.a. Click cancel and confirm that the deletion process aborts.
4.b. Click OK and confirm that the deletion process completes.
6. Repeat step 4 with the "Remove selected patrons" at the bottom of the
page.
7. Confirm that the page title and breadcrumbs correctly show the list
name.
8. Switch between us and metric dateformat settings and confirm that
table sorting by date is correct in both cases.
Followed test plan. Patch behaves as expected.

Bug 10649 introduced a new include file for adding DataTables-related
JavaScript assets. This patch adds use of this include file to the
batch patron modification template.
This patch modifies the template so that date columns are sorted using
the "title-string" filter, based on the unformatted date. The DataTables
configuration has also been modified to account for varying structure
based on the page state.
Other minor edits: Corrected capitalization.
To test, go Tools -> Batch patron modification and submit a list of
patrons for modification. The resulting page should be correctly sorted.
Date columns should sort correctly for all dateformat system pref
settings.
Test with extended patron attributes enabled. Test adding and removing
varying numbers of attributes to patrons in your batch.
Submit a change to multiple borrowers. The results page should also be
sorted correctly.
Revision: Corrected error caused by the variable number of columns in
the table corresponding to varying numbers of patron attributes.

jQuery's .toggle() method can no longer be used to trigger a pair of
specified functions. .toggle() can only be used to change the visibility
of an element. This patch fixes a few places in Koha where the
deprecated functionality was used.
To test, apply the patch and clear your browser cache.
- View the system preferences page in the staff client. Clicking a
heading ("Appearance" under OPAC preferences, for instance) should
collapse that section. Clicking again should expand it.
- View the MARC detail page for a record in the OPAC. Clicking the "view
plain" link should display the plain MARC view. Clicking the "view
labeled" view should return to the original view. Test in both prog
and bootstrap themes.

The form for adding a new OAI indicates that two fields are
required but does nothing to enforce this rule. This can be
handled client-side with HTML5 validation attributes and Koha's built-in
validation plugin. This patch implements this.
To test, apply the patch and go to Administration -> OAI sets
configuration -> New set. Try submitting the form without entering a
setSpec and/or setName. Doing so should trigger a validation warning.
Submission of the form with valid data should work correctly. Editing an
existing set should also work correctly.
Followed test plan. Patch behaves as expected.

As of jQuery 1.9 the .live() method has been removed. A few templates
contain JavaScript which uses it. It can be easily replaced with .on().
This patch makes the correction.
To test, apply the patch and test the following pages:
- In the staff client, Administration -> OAI sets configuration:
Define mappings for an existing set. You should be able to add rows by
clicking the "OR" button. You should be able to delete or clear any
line by clicking the "Delete" link.
- In the staff client, view the details for any patron and click the
"Change password" button: In the change password form click the link
to fill the password fields with a random password. This link should
work correctly.
- If necessary enable OpacRenewalAllowed in system preferences. Log in
to the OPAC as a patron who has checkouts. On the patron summary page
(opac-user.pl) look for the "renew selected" and "renew all" links at
the top of the table of checkouts. Both these links should work
correctly. Test in prog and bootstrap themes.
Followed test plan. Same behaviour as without patch, i.e. patch OK

This patch changes the way the controls to suspend and resume holds are
displayed on the OPAC for a logged-in user when using the Bootstrap
theme. Instead of showing all the suspend options in the table cell a
link will trigger a modal with the controls. This makes the table more
compact and readable.
The patch adds a span and class to the dateformat include so that the
dateformat hint can be hidden if JavaScript is enabled (and thus the
datepicker will use the correct format automatically).
A new class has been added to the CSS, ".js-show" to be used for
elements which should be hidden if JavaScript is disabled and made
visible by JavaScript if it is enabled.
To test you must have RequestOnOpac, SuspendHoldsOpac, and the bootstrap
theme enabled.
Apply the patch and test with AutoResumeSuspendedHolds enabled:
1. Log in to the OPAC and place a hold.
2. View the list of your holds in the OPAC.
3. Click the "Suspend" link for your new hold. A modal window should
appear allowing you to specify a suspend-until date.
4. Specify a suspend-until date. Test the "clear" link and confirm that
it clears the date.
5. Specify a suspend-until date and submit.
6. Confirm that the hold has been suspended with the specified
resumption date.
7. Click the "Resume" link on the suspended hold to resume.
8. Click the "Suspend" link again and submit without specifying a date.
9. Confirm that the hold has been suspended indefinitely.
Follow the same steps above with JavaScript disabled. The "suspend
until" options will appear inside the table as before and everything
should work correctly.
Test with AutoResumeSuspendedHolds disabled. No modal dialog should
appear when the "Suspend" link is clicked. The hold should simply be
suspended indefinitely.
Test again with JavaScript disabled. There should be no change in
functionality.

Batch patron deletion/anonymization tool has some issues:
1) If 'dateformat' setting in I18N/L10N system preferences is set
to anything other then 'iso' (eg. 'metric'), bulk deletion when using
'expiration date is before' criterion is not working properly. Date
entered in this field will be efectivelly ignored (or possibly
sometimes wrongly interpreted as different date, in other format)
on the final patron deletion stage. This may result in deleting
(or moving to trash) more borrower records then intended.
2) Bulk/batch patron deletion should skip borrowers with
nonzero account balance (ones with oustanding fines or credits)
3) This tool shouldn't offer to choose as deletion criterion
those patron categories which have category_type set to 'S'
(= staff patron categories)
This patch fixes above mentioned problems. It also adds an option
to "test run" patron batch deletion, and makes this option
the default choice in "warning" stage.
Test plan:
- prepare test database with some patron records (at least 2,
the more the better) set up in such a way that they will be vulnerable
to issues 1 & 2
- confirm issues 1,2
- restore test database
- apply patch
- ensure issues 1 & 2 are no longer present - first by using new "test
run" option: for #1, record counts in "warning" stage and "final" stage
should be now the same; for #2, observe that patron records with nonzero
balance are now excluded from deletion
- redo the tests, this time choosing "delete permanently" and "move
to trash" instead of "test run"
- test #3 by changing "Category type" to "S" in some
test patron categories - after that, those categories should no
longer be choosable as deletion criteria.

Tested with dateformat = dd/mm/yyyy. I tested with two expired patrons,
one with fines and one without. Before the patch a lot of unexpected
patrons were deleted along with the expected ones. After
applying the patch only the expired patron was deleted, not the
one with fines. The test run and the "real" run reported correct numbers.
The patch also makes sure no patron categories with category_type = S
are suggested for batch deletion.
Note: The ergonomics of the "Batch delete/anonymize" tool is hardly
optimal, but this patch fixes a real, data-loosing bug, so let's
deal with the ergonomics later.

opac-user.tt in the prog theme contains 'Renew Selected' and 'Renew
All'. These are incorrectly capitalized. This patch corrects.
To test you must have OpacRenewalAllowed enabled. Apply the patch,
switch to the prog theme, and log in to the OPAC as a patron who has
checkouts.
At the bottom of the table of checkouts you should see the renew buttons
with correct capitalization.

During add or edit of a subscription when you test the
prediction pattern, "Publication Date" in the displayed table
has incorrect capitalization. This patch corrects.
To test, apply the patch and create or edit a subscription. In
step two click the "test prediction pattern" button to display
the table. "Publication date" should be correctly capitalized.

If the syspref hide_marc is set to "don't display", tags were not shown
by default.
This patch adds a checkbox to hide/show tags directly on the
cataloguing page. The value is stored in a cookie.
Test plan:
Enable/disable the sysprefs hide_marc and advancedMARCeditor in order to
check if the display is according with what the user want.
Reload the page and verify the value is kept.
The first value of the cookie is retrieved from the hide_marc pref.
Bonus:
This patch removes the link "Show MARCtag documentation links" if the
syspref advancedMARCeditor is enabled.

made by the cataloguer.

- The error messages for mandatory fields upon saving only
give the tag number and not the description, so this might require
to turn back on the tag display.
- The advancedMARCeditor doesn't display the documentation links before
and after the patch was applied. I think it could still be useful for
an advanced cataloger to be able to look up information on a field quickly.

On "MARC view" in the OPAC, clicking on "Plain view" does not work
for UNIMARC and NORMARC.
To test:
- Make sure you have a UNIMARC or NORMARC setup
- Go to the "MARC view" of a record in the OPAC
- Click on "view plain" and observe the "Sorry, plain view is
temporarily unavailable." error message
- Apply the patch
- Click on "view plain" and observe that a plain view of the MARC
record is now displayed
- Sign off
I have only tested this on NORMARC, it might be good if someone
can test on UNIMARC.

in Acq baskets, there's a pull-down for basket groups. One of the
entries in that pull-down is "No group", which is untranslatable.
This string is hard-coded in Perl.
This patch removes the string from Perl to set it has first option
in select. To allow it to be default value, the option "Add new group"
is moved to last position.
Test plan :
- Go to a closed aquisition basket in no basket group :
cgi-bin/koha/acqui/basket.pl?basketno=x
=> You see "No group" selected in combobox "Basket group"
- Cick on this combobox
=> You see "No group", then existing basket groups and then "Add new

A link to course reserves is in the global header menu but not on the
home page. All links from the global header should be present on the
home page as well. This patch adds it.
To test, apply the patch and if necessary clear your browser cache. View
the staff client home page. If you have "UseCourseReserves" enabled you
should see a link for the course reserves page which is visually
consistent with the other module links. If you do not have course
reserves enabled you should not see the link.
Unrelated: I positioned the admin link after the tools link because it
bugged me.

"Creation date" sorting has been reconfigured to use the title-string
method for sorting on an unformatted date. C4:Reports::Guided.pm has
been modified to pass an unformatted date to the template. Sorting
should work correctly for all settings of the dateformat system pref.
- Reports -> Catalog by item type
(reports/manager.pl?report_name=itemtypes)
- Reports -> Serials statistics wizard (reports/serials_stats.pl):
The subscription begin and subscription end columns have been modified
to use the title-string filter for sorting. An unformatted date is now
passed from reports/serials_stats.pl to the template, where the
KohaDates filter is used for formatting. Sorting is based on the
unformatted date. Sorting should work correctly for all settings of

This patch converts the OrderPdfFormat to a choice.
To test:
[1] Look at OrderPdfFormat in the system preferences editor. Verify
that there is a drop-down giving a choice among the three PDF
basketgroup printing formats.
[2] Change the OrderPdfFormat setting and print a basketgroup. Verify
that the chosen template is used.

If a hold operation is blocked because the title has no items attached
the patron search autocomplete JavaScript triggers an error. This patch
modifies the template so that the JS is loaded only when items are
present.
To test, find a title which has no items attached. View the holds page
for that title. There should be no JavaScript error. Patron search
autocomplete should still work correctly for titles which have items
attached.
Deleted all items from a biblio record. Clicked the holds tab and
confirmed using firebug Javascript error occurs. Applied patch,
confirmed that the Javascript error described in comment 1 no
longer happens. Went to another biblio with items, and confirmed
patron auto-complete still functions.

Biblio edit menu items which are disabled should trigger a tooltip
on hover and an alert on click with explanations. This patch implements
this for the relevent menu items.
To test, apply the patch for Bug 11829 if necessary. Find a record which
has no items attached. Test the following views:
- Normal
- MARC
- Labeled MARC
- ISBD
- Items
Test these Edit menu items:
- Edit items in a batch
- Delete items in a batch
- Delete all items
Hovering over these menu items should trigger an explanatory tooltip.
Clicking the menu items should trigger a similar alert.
Next, locate a title with items attached. On the same pages above, test
the Edit -> Delete record menu item. Hovering should trigger an
explanatory tooltip. Clicking it should trigger a similar alert.

Filtering the list of saved reports by subgroup doesn't work because the
filtering JavaScript was not updated when the table columns changed with
Bug 3134. This patch corrects the target column for filtering.
To test you must have multiple saved reports within one group, and at
least one of those in a subgroup.
- Apply the patch and go to Reports -> Use saved.
- Click the tab for the group which contains your reports.
- Choose the subgroup you want to filter on from the subgroup dropdown.
The list of reports should be correctly filtered by your subgroup.
NOTE: It seems weird to have the number of columns displayed change
when filtered, but this patch does correct the filtering.

The template used to show the Z39.50 server administration page had a
bug that caused it to not correctly escape generated query strings.
Because the Z39.50 server name is used to lookup the server in order
to edit or delete it, when the server name is not passed correctly in
the query string, it is impossible to bring up the edit or delete forms
(without manually entering the escaped string.)
This patch corrects which template is filter used to escape those query
strings.
To test:
(1) Login to intranet, go to Administration -> Z39.50 servers
(2) Select "New Z3.50 Server". Enter a server name that contains an
ampersand (&), e.g.: "FOO & BAR". Enter other details and submit.
Click OK to confirmation message.
(3) In the server list, click on the server name, the "Edit" or "Delete"
buttons for the server.
The correct and full server details should be brought up.

Through some quirk of the translation script a predefined value on a
text input is not properly translated even though the string appears in
the po file. On the suggestions form the problem can be solved by using
the HTML5 placeholder attribute.
To test you must have existing suggestions to manage. Apply the patch
and:
- Update a translation by running tranlsate update [language code]
- Install/reinstall the translation by running translate install
[language code]
- In the English templates:
- Navigate to Acquisitions -> Suggestions and find the "Mark selected
as:" section below the table of existing suggestions.
- Select "Other" from the "choose a reason" field. A text input field
should appear with the placeholder text "please note your reason
here."
- In the templates you updated and installed, follow the same procedure
above. The placeholder text should now appear with the correct
translation.
- In both English and translated templates using this bulk-status option
should save your chosen status correctly with the correct reason,
whether that reason be predefined or manually entered.

This patch finishes the work started in one of the previous
follow-ups and allows CardnumberLength to be set to a value
like ',5'. In conjunction with not including cardnumber in
BorrowerMandatoryField, this allows a cardnumber to not be
required but, if present, to not exceed the specified length.
This patch also updates t/db_dependent/Members.t so that
it runs in a transaction, tests the new return value
of checkcardnumber, and manages the CardnumberLength syspref.
To test:
[1] Verify that prove -v t/db_dependent/Members.t and
prove -v t/Members/cardnumber.t pass.
[2] Set CardnumberLength to ",5" and take cardnubmer out of
the BorrowerMandatoryField list.
[3] Verify that you can save a patron record without a cardnumber,
but if you supply one, that it can be at most 5 characters long.
[4] Add cardnumber back to BorrowerMandatoryField. This time, the
minimum length is 1 even though CardnumberLength is ",5".

This patch replaces use of the HTML5 pattern attribute with minlength
and maxlength, which is compatible with the jQuery validation plugin
and which, in Chrome 33.0.1750.146 at least, works better.
To test:
[1] Enter a new patron record or edit an existing one.
[2] Verify that the minimum and/or maximum length requirements
set by the CardnumberLength syspref are validated and that
form submission is prevented if the cardnumber doesn't
meet the length requirements.

Bug 10861: Reintroduced the cardnumber length check (client side)
Previous patches has removed the pattern attribute of the input, it was
not needed. This patch reintroduces it. It will only work for new
browser version.
Moreover, it manages with the ',XX' format (see UT).

Then again, if the cookies are really, really good, a cookie-induced
coma would not be the worst thing.
Some libraries would like to add a check on the cardnumber length.
This patch adds the ability to restrict the cardnumber to a specific
length (strictly equal to XX, or length > XX or min < length < max).
This restriction is checked on inserting/updating a patron or on importing
patrons.
This patch adds:
- 1 new syspref CardnumberLength. 2 formats: a number or a range
(xx,yy).
- 1 new unit test file t/Members/checkcardnumber.t for the
C4::Members::checkcardnumber routine.
Test plan:
1/ Fill the pref CardnumberLength with '5,8'
2/ Create a new patron with an invalid cardnumber (123456789)
3/ Check that you cannot save
4/ With Firebug, replace the pattern attribute value (for the cardnumber
input) with ".{5,10}"
5/ You are allowed to save but an error occurred.
6/ Try the same steps for update.
7/ Go to the import borrowers tool.
8/ Play with the import borrowers tool. We must test add/update patrons
and the "record matching" field (cardnumber or a uniq patron attribute)

On the serial claims page, it is possible to export (using a CSV
profile) or claim 1+ serials.
The checkboxes are not shown if the claiming notice is not defined.
So it is not possible to export claims.
Test plan:
- delete your notice "claimissues"
- go on the serial claims page
- verify that you are able to export them as CSV

This patch removes some dead code concerning the handling of patrons
that are members of other, institutional patrons. This code did not
work; removing it clears the field if somebody wants to do a better
implementation of such relationships between patrons.
This patch:
[1] Removes the memberofinstitution system preference.
[2] Removes the following routines:
C4::Members::get_institutions()
C4::Members::add_member_orgs() (and removing this routine
removes a reference to a borrowers_to_borrowers table that
does not exist).
There should be no changes whatsoever to system functionality with this
patch (with the trivial exception of the absence of the
memberofinstitution system preference).
Test plan:
[1] Look at the code and use grep, git grep, etc. verify this patch
does not remove something in use.
[2] Verify that there are no regressions upon adding or editing
a patron record.
[3] Verify that the memberofinstitution system preference has been
removed

This patch adds counts and amounts to the tabs in the 'your summary'
page of the OPAC patron account.
_TEST PLAN_
Before applying:
1) Choose a test patron
2) Place a few holds
3) Check in one of the holds so that it is waiting for the patron
4) Check out a few items
5) Check out another item that can generate fines (backdate it a few
weeks/months)
6) Run fines.pl to generate fines (make sure your finesmode syspref
is set to prod)
7) Check your OPAC patron account.
8) Note the tabs "Checked out, Fines, Holds, and Waiting"
Apply the patch
1) Switch your OPAC to the bootstrap theme
2) Refresh your browser for the OPAC patron account screen
3) Note that the applicable counts and amounts appear on the tabs

When OpacHighlightedWords syspref is on, the current search terms are
highlighted in results and detail pages.
This workes in detail page with the URL param 'query_desc'.
This parameter must be managed in results browser (appears when
OpacBrowseResults syspref is on) links.
This patch adds query_desc parameter in results list and changes next
nd previous links to be build into TT instead of perl to manage
query_desc parameter only into TT.
Test plan :
- Edit sysprefs : OpacHighlightedWords on, OpacBrowseResults on.
- Perform a search with a term existing into title
=> You see the term highlighted in search results
- Go to detail of a result with highlight
=> You see the term highlighted
- Click on "Next"
=> you see query_desc in URL, and if search term is present it is
highlighted
- Same for "Previous"
- Click on "Browse results"
- Click on a result
=> you see query_desc in URL, and if search term is present it is

Until now, the maximum number of item records to process in a batch was
hardcoded to 1000.
This patch adds a syspref MaxItemsForBatch in order to allow to adapt
this value.
Test plan:
- set the pref to 2
- try to delete a batch of 3 items: they are not displayed
- try to modify a batch of 3 items: you are not allowed to do that
- set the pref to 1000 and try again. Now items are displayed and you
are allow to modify them.

There are many instances where librarians would like to have the ability
to see all the rows in a datatable at one. It seems prudent to make this
a default option for datatables, rather than change it on a case by case
basis.
Test Plan:
1) View the circulation history for a patron
2) Note you can select to view 10, 25, 50, or 100 entries
3) Apply this patch
4) Reload the circulation history page for a patron
5) Note the new "All" option
6) Verify the "All" option shows all the rows at once

AllowHoldsOnDamagedItems will stop item-specific holds from being placed
on damaged items, but does not stop Koha from using damaged items to
fill holds. This seems like incorrect behavior.
Test Plan:
1) Set 'AllowHoldsOnDamagedItems' to "Don't Allow"
2) Pick an item, set it to damaged
3) Place a bib-level hold on this item's record
4) Scan the item though the returns system
5) Koha will ask to use this item to fill the hold, click "ignore"
6) Apply this patch
7) Repeat step 4
8) Koha will not ask to use this item to fill the hold

This patch modifies two course reserves templates to use the new
DataTables include. This simplifies the inclusion of assets and updates
to the latest DataTables version. Also included:
- Adds a sorting filter on the course reserves detail table to excluding
articles from sorting.
- Corrects the styling of toolbar buttons (buttons should have btn and
btn-small classes).
To test you must have UseCourseReserves enabled and have multiple
existing courses, at least one of which should have items on reserve.
1. View the list of courses. Table sorting should work correctly. The
"new course" button should look consistent with other staff client
toolbar buttons.
2. View the list of reserves on a course.
- Toolbar buttons should look consistent with other staff client
toolbar buttons.
- Sorting should work correctly, excluding sorting on the Edit,
Remove, and "Other course reserves" columns.
- Titles on reserve which begin with an article should be sorted
correctly with article excluded
- Test sorting with item-level_itypes on and off.
- Test sorting using a patron whose permissions include various
combinations of add_reserves and delete_reserves

This patch makes improvements to the default DataTables CSS and corrects
a couple of errors in the original patch. CSS for the "full numbers"
type pagination, used by this and the quotes editor, has been cleaned up
and made more visually consistent with the brief pagination style.
Also changed:
- removed some hard-coded paths containing "http://staff.kohadev..."
- Added a column header to the column showing record match details. This
provides both information and a clearer target for clicking to resort
- Expanding the default table pager controls for this page and the
quotes editor (for consistency)
- Correction to quotes.css to fix pager display problem on wide screens

Some libraries would like to sort by columns for the records of an
import batch. This seems like a good use of Ajax DataTables.

a) Use some form of matching

The opacSerialDefaultTab system preference should control whether to
show the holdings or subscriptions tab by default on the detail page for
a serial. This behavior was broken when we last updated jQueryUI because
of a change in the jQueryUI active tab class name.
This patch corrects the class on the detail page and removes the old
class from the authorities detail page (where it was unnecessary
anyway).
To test, view a serial record in the OPAC under various settings of the
opacSerialDefaultTab preference. The default tab should correctly follow
the preference.
Test in prog and Bootstrap themes.
Edit: Rebased on current master. Note that the change to
opac-auth-detail.tt is because the page never has more than one tab,
hence doesn't need the "active" designation.

Local cover images do not appear in staff client search results. This
patch adds them.
To test, enable the LocalCoverImages system preference and add at least
one cover image to a title. Perform a search which will return results
that include your title. Confirm that the local cover image is
displayed.
Search results should also display correctly with and without
AmazonCoverImages enabled as well as with LocalCoverImages disabled.

This patch corrects some errors with the staff client's patron purchase
suggestions page (members/purchase-suggestions.pl).
To test, apply the patch and make sure the patronimages system
preference is enabled.
- View the purchase suggestions page for a patron whose record has a
patron image attached. The image should appear in the left-hand
sidebar.
- View the page for a patron who has submitted no purchase suggestions.
The message should be styled correctly.
- The toolbar on the page should look correct and work correctly.

A librarian with no course reserves permissions cannot view course
reserves from the staff intranet, yet can from the OPAC. This doesn't
make much sense. Librarians should not require any course reserves
permissions to view courses and reserves from the staff intranet.
Test Plan:
1) Log into staff intranet as a librarian with no course reserves
permissions
2) Note you cannot view course reserves
3) Apply this patch
4) Note you can now view course reserves
5) Verify you cannot modify courses or course reserves

Bug 11866 [Follow-up] Staff side course reserves too restrictive
This follow-up patch adds a check for the "UseCourseReserves" system
preference to the display of the Course reserves menu item in the
header.
To test, view the "More" menu with the "UseCourseReserves" system
preference on and off. The menu item should appear and disappear
accordingly.

1) Sorting on "Billing date" (functionality introduced by bug 10794)
doesn't work properly any longer after bug 10401 was pushed (another
side-effect being that "Vendor" column is currently not sortable
at all).
2) Only "top ten" invoices are always displayed in the table, and it's
not possible to change that without missing top/bottom DataTables
pagination bars.
This patch fixes sorting for "Billing date" & "Vendor" columns
in invoices table and restores the ability to see all table
rows/search results (not just "top ten").
Test plan (you'll need to have 11+ invoices with various billing
dates entered in the system):
1) apply patch,
2) view the Acquisitions invoices page (acqui/invoices.pl), do some
search (= as broad search as possible) and confirm that "Billing
date" and "Vendor" columns now do sort correctly,
3) in situations when there are more than 10 search results, they
should all be visible in the invoices table.
NOTE: Generating invoices is a painfully convoluted mess.
All my "Billing date" entries were blank, so was not
able to confirm Billing date issues. However, Vendor
sorting issues, seeing more than 10, and in my bizarre
initial case the non-visible checkboxes were all fixed.

The page for adding a new basket in Acquisitions includes some custom
form validation JavaScript which can be removed in favor of HTML5
validation attributes and Koha's built-in validation plugin. This patch
does so.
To test, apply the patch and go to Acquisitions -> Choose a vendor ->
New basket. Try submitting the form without entering a basket name. This
should trigger a validation warning.
Submission of the form with valid data should work correctly. Editing an
existing basket should also work correctly.
Patch works as expected.

Bug 10649 introduced a new include file for adding DataTables-related
JavaScript assets. This patch adds use of this include file to the Koha
news page.
To test you should have existing news items with varying creation and
expiration dates. Apply the patch and confirm that table sorting works
correctly for all settings of the dateformat system preference.
C4::NewsChannels.pm has been modified so that it now passes an
unformatted date to the template, where the KohaDates plugin is used to
apply the correct formatting. Sorting is based on the unformatted date.
Also corrected: Capitalization errors.

Bug 10649 introduced a new include file for adding DataTables-related
JavaScript assets. This patch adds use of this include file to all
member pages which use DataTables.
Apply the patch and test the following pages to confirm that table
sorting works correctly:
- Patron details (members/moremember.pl)
- The checkouts, relatives' checkouts, and holds tables have been
modified to exclude articles when sorting of titles.
- Notices (members/notices.pl)
- Circulation history (members/readingrec.pl)
- Statistics (members/statistics.pl)
- Update child to adult patron (members/update-child.pl) - This is the
page which appears in a pop-up when you update a child patron to an
adult (from the "More" menu in the toolbar when viewing patron
details).

On the OPAC's patron details form, if the date of birth field is
required we shouldn't offer the user a "clear date." This patch removes
the "clear date" link if the field is required.
To test, configure the BorrowerMandatoryField system preference to
require dateofbirth. Enable the OPACPatronDetails system preference and
log in to the OPAC. View the "personal details" form and confirm that
there is no "clear date" link next to the required date of birth field.
Remove dateofbirth from the BorrowerMandatoryField system preference and
re-test. The "clear date" link should appear.
Test in both prog and Bootstrap themes.
I tested with prog and bootstrap themes, adding/removing field 'dateofbirth'
in sys pref PatronSelfRegistrationBorrowerMandatoryField.
Patch behaves as expected.

Currently if the logged in user lacks any cataloging permissions the
bibliographic detail page (catalogue/detail.pl) still shows the Edit
button, but with an empty dropdown menu. This patch corrects the toolbar
include so that the button will not appear at all.
To test, view the biblio detail page as a user with various combinations
of the following permissions:
- edit_items
- edit_catalogue
- items_batchmod
- items_batchdel
The edit button should appear with the correct set of links when the
user has any combination of the above permissions. If user has none the
button should not appear.
Followed test plan, patch behaves as expected

In previous versions of Koha, the patron cardnumber was displayed in the
personal details section of the OPAC for logged in users. A patron needs
to be able to access his or her cardnumber in some cases to access
online resources a library makes available that requires his or her
cardnumber. This is especially important for patron self registration
where a patron may not have a physical library card. This field should
be re-added to the patron personal details page.
Test Plan:
1) Apply this patch
2) Log into the OPAC
3) Browse to "your personal details"
4) Verify the patron cardnumber is visible

When editing additional attributes of a patron of a category with a
code with space (ie "CAT 3"), the Javascript is broken and Additional
attributes are not displayed.
This patch corrects by adding simple quotes around category code in JS
code.
Test plan :
- Create an patron additional attribute
- Create a new patron category with a space in code. ie "CAT 3"
- Create a new patron of this category : /cgi-bin/koha/members/memberentry.pl?op=add&categorycode=CAT 3
=> Without patch the JS is broken (Syntax error, unrecognized expression:
[data-category_code=CAT 3]) and additional attributes are not
displayed.
=> With patch the JS is not broken and additional attributes are
displayed and can be edited.

In current Koha version it is not possible to create category codes
with blanks.
To test, I changed an existing category code directly in the database.
Then I followed the Test plan.
Without patch, attribute types were not displayed.
With patch, they were displayed as expected.

I recommend not using codes with spaces and fix existing ones.
Koha doesn't allow you to add category codes with spaces, so the only way
to do it is via SQL.
This patch fixes a problem and passes all tests.

The form for adding a new purchase suggestion in the staff client
indicates that the title field is required but does nothing to enforce
this rule. This can be handled client-side with HTML5 validation
attributes and Koha's built-in validation plugin. This patch implements
this.
To test, apply the patch and go to Acquisitions ->
Suggestions -> New purchase suggestion. Try submitting the form without
entering a title. Doing so should trigger a validation warning.
Submission of the form with valid data should work correctly. Editing an
existing suggestion should also work correctly.
The patch displays a message 'Required' near the title field.
After submitting a empty title it changes to 'This field is required'

In order to edit a specific item right now, one must select the edit
pulldown, then choose edit items, the click the edit link for the
particular item the librarian wishes to edit. It would be much more
convenient to have an edit link for each specific item in the items
table on the record details page.
Test Plan:
1) Apply this patch
2) View the record details for a record with items
3) Click the edit link for a particular item
4) Note that you are taken immediately to the item editor
for this particular item

Currently, the number of items to display is hardcoded (50).
But the perl script loads all items before to check if the number of
items is oversized.
This patch adds a new pref OpacMaxItemsToDisplay (default to 50). If the
*total* number of items for a biblio is greater, no item is displayed
and a link allows to display all items.
Test plan:
1/ search a biblio with many items
2/ set the pref according the number of items you want to display
3/ verify the items are not displayed if the number of items is greater
the pref value
4/ enable the OpacSeparateHoldings pref and verify the items are
displayed in different tabs (if items have different locations).

The toolbar button on the Notices & Slips page isn't styled with
Bootstrap as other toolbar buttons are. This patch corrects this.
The patch also removes some obsolete CSS.
To test go to Tools -> Notices and Slips. The toolbar button should look
correct and work correctly.

This patch removes the DBIC schema class for the 'roadtype' table
and staff interface templates that are no longer reachable with
the removal of the road type administration page. It also removes
the creation of the table during installation.

Currently road types are stored in a specific table in DB. Moreover, an
admin page is present in order to manage them.
This patch proposes to remove this table and this page in favour of a
new authorised value category 'ROADTYPE'.
This patch:
- adds a new AV category 'ROADTYPE' (created from the roadtype table
content).
- remove the roadtype table.
- remove the .pl and .tt file admin/roadtype
- remove the 2 routines C4::Members::GetRoadTypes and
C4::Members::GetRoadTypeDetails
Test plan:
1/ Execute the updatedatabase entry and verify existing roadtypes are
now stored in the AV 'ROADTYPE'.
2/ Verify you can add/update a streettype for patrons.

The inventory tool allows for 2 ways of processing files. The first
is to upload a file. The second is to generate the shelf list.
Most libraries think they have to fill in all fields because the
submit button is at the bottom of the second option. They do not.
This patch adds a second submit button under the first method to
make this clearer.
To test:
* Generate a file of barcodes for inventorying
* Before applying the patch use the file upload method to mark as seen
* Apply the patch
* Use the file upload method to mark as seen using the new submit
* Repeat the above for the shelf list method
* Confirm that inventory still works as expected with 2 buttons

When uploading local cover images the form should not be submitted if
no file has been selected. The existing form validation script doesn't
work. This patch adds HTML5 validation attributes and use of Koha's
built-in form validation plugin.
To test, apply the patch and go to Tools -> Upload local cover image.
Try to submit the form without selecting a file to upload. You should be
prevented from doing so. Choose a file and confirm that the upload
completes correctly.

This follow-up corrects the "cancel" action on list edit actions based
on whether the edit was initiated from the list of lists or the list
contents view.
To test, view the list of lists and click the edit link next to one of
them. Click the cancel link. You should return to the list of lists you
were just viewing.
View the contents of a list. Choose "Edit list" from the edit menu.
Click the cancel link on the edit screen. You should return to the list
contents view from which you initiated the edit action.

In the staff client, if you initiate a list edit from the list contents
view you should be redirected to that same view after saving your
changes. The OPAC already works this way.
To test, view the contents of an existing list. Click the "Edit list"
item under the "Edit" menu. Click save on the list edit form and you
should be redirected back to the contents view of that list.

This patch improves Koha's layout when a right-to-left language is being
displayed by correcting a float set by the right-to-left version of
Bootstrap CSS.
The patch modifies the right-to-left Less file and includes a
now-minified version of the compiled CSS.
To test, install a right-to-left language like ar-Arab. Apply the patch
and view the OPAC under the Bootstrap theme. When logged in, the log out
link is now aligned to the left.

Steps to reproduce:
1) Log into staff intranet
2) Set logged in branch
3) Browse to tools/overdue notice triggers
4) Select a branch from the pulldown that is not your logged in branch
5) use the "Check out" bar at the top of the page to search for a patron
to check out to
6) Once you have landed here, click the "check out" tab link again, or
the Edit button ( any action really )
7) Note your logged in branch has now changed to the once selected
when editing the notice/status triggers
This is due to the way the patron search passes the branchcode to be
used via the form. This form assumes the branchcode variable is
always the currently logged in branch, which may not and is not
always the case.
Test Plan:
1) Apply this patch
2) Repeat the steps to reproduce above
3) Note your logged in branch does not change

To test you need a CSV file of quotes to upload ( "source","text" ).
Go to Tools -> Quote editor and click the "Import quotes" button. Upload
the CSV file and confirm that the table which previews the import
results loads correctly. Sorting is not enabled, but pagination and
searching should work.

The page for adding a new tag to an authority framework includes some
custom form validation JavaScript which can be removed in favor of HTML5
validation attributes and Koha's built-in validation plugin. This patch
does so.
The patch also moves some tag markup out of the script and into the
template where it belongs.
To test, apply the patch and go to Administration -> Authority types ->
MARC structure -> New tag. Try submitting the form without entering a
tag number. This should trigger a validation warning.
Submission of the form with valid data should work correctly. Editing an
existing tag should also work correctly.

The new authority type entry form uses custom form validation
JavaScript. This patch removes it in favor of using HTML5 validation
attributes and Koha's built-in validation plugin.
To test, go to Administration -> Authority types and click "New
authority type." Try submitting the form without entering any data. You
should see a warning about required fields. Upon entering text in those
fields the warning should disappear.

The jQuery plugin jquery.hoverIntent.minified.js is used only in the
OPAC, not the staff client. This patch removes it from the staff client.
To test, apply the patch and search for instances of "hoverIntent." Only
references in OPAC templates should be returned.

The DataTables plugin doesn't by default take multiple columns into
account when sorting. The hold ratios report presents a situation where
it makes sense to sort by default based on two columns: hold count and
title, since there are likely to be many titles with the same hold
count.
This patch adds sorting by default on holds (descending) and title
(ascending). It also modifies the configuration of the title sort to
exclude articles when sorting.
To test, view the hold ratios report. If necessary use the filter form
to reduce the minimum hold ratio and generate more results. Confirm that
the correct columns can be sorted.
Note that by default one can manually trigger sorting on two columns by
shift-clicking the second column header.

This patch makes some revisions to the lists template:
- Removed the old prog theme breadcrumbs from the List edit screen.
- Added New/Edit/Delete controls to the list view in cases where the
list is empty.
- Corrected some breadcrumb logic.
To test, apply the patch and edit an existing list. You should see a
heading "Editing [list name]".
If necessary create a list with zero items on it. View the list. You
should see New/Edit/Delete links above the message about the list being
empty.
Patch behaves as expected.

The Bootstrap and CCSR theme directories contain older copies of the
DataTables plugin which is no longer in use. This patch removes them
both.
To test, apply the patch and confirm that DataTables still work on the
following pages in both the Bootstrap and CCSR OPAC themes:
- The Cart. Add items to the Cart, open it and confirm that the table is
sorted correctly.
- The detail page: View the detail page for a title (opac-detail.pl)
with multiple items and confirm that the table of items is sorted
correctly.
- A subscription's "full history" page: Navigate to the detail page of a
subscription in your catalog which has received multiple issues. From
the subscriptions tab click the "More details" link, then the "Full
history" link. Confirm that the table of issues is sorted correctly.
- Search history: Enable the EnableOpacSearchHistory system
preference. Perform a few searches so that your current session
will record them. View the search history page and confirm that the
tables of current and past searches are sorted correctly.
- Suggestions (enable 'suggestion' system pref if necessary)
- Tags (enable TagsEnabled if necessary)
- Most popular (enable OpacTopissue if necessary)
- User summary (opac-user.pl): Checkouts, overdues, and holds tables
should all sort correctly.
- Self checkout: Enable WebBasedSelfCheck if necessary. Check out as a
patron who has multiple existing checkouts. Confirm that the table is
sorted correctly.

We handle internationalization of the jQuery datepicker by adding
language configuration strings to calendar.inc which can be processed by
the translation script. This patch adds a similar configuration file for
the timepicker.
This patch also upgrades the timepicker plugin to the latest version,
minified, and places it outside the prog template directory for global
use. The path in templates has been updated accordingly.
CSS has been added to more completely hide the controls for seconds,
milliseconds, and microseconds.
To test, apply the patch and clear your cache so that the browser
loads the new version of the jQuery plugin. Confirm that date and time
selection still function correctly on the circulation page, the patron
detail page, and the offline circulation page (circ/offline.pl).
Test at least one datepicker instance which does not use the
timepicker.
Run translate update on a po file and confirm that the timepicker
strings are now present.

The qTip plugin is out of date and incompatible with recent versions of
jQuery. This patch replaces use of qTip on the patron search form with a
Bootstrap tooltip implementation.
To test, apply the patch and view /cgi-bin/koha/members/members-home.pl
- Expand the patron search form by clicking the [+]
- Change 'search fields' from 'Standard' to 'Date of birth'
- A tooltip should appear giving details about the date format required
- Change the 'search fields' to something else. The tooltip should not
appear.
Revision: Removed inclusion of qTip plugin from global header include.
The other instance of qTip usage occurs on a page which loads the plugin
separately.

toUC() is repeatedly declared on many administration templates. This
function, used to transform user input to uppercase, can be added to
staff-global.js to prevent repetition.
To test, confirm that transformation to uppercase is working on the
following Administration pages when text is entered in a form field and
focus is moved to the next field:
- Authority types -> New: Test the "Authority type" field.
- MARC bibliographic framework -> New framework: Test the "Framework
code" field.
- Patron types and categories -> New category: Test the "Category code"
field.
- Currencies and exchange rates -> New currency: Test the "Currency"
field.
- Item types -> New item type: Test the "Item type" field.

This patch removes a jQuery plugin which was added for use with the old
tablesorter plugin. Since the tablesorter plugin has been removed and
replaced with DataTables this plugin can also be removed.

When the Bootstrap theme was started, the XSLT directory
was copied over from the prog theme. However, it was not
kept up to date with respect to changes to prog's XSLT.
This patch rectifies the problem by copying over the
current state of prog/en/xslt to bootstrap/en/xslt. As
a consequence, the following bugs or enhancements should
now be reflected in the Bootstrap theme:

Bug 10649 introduced a new include file for adding DataTables-related
JavaScript assets. This patch adds use of this include file to the
calendar template and corrects some table sorting configuration errors.
To test you should have multiple calendar entries in various categories
of holiday: Unique holidays, repeating yearly holidays, repeating weekly
holidays, and exceptions. Sorting of date columns should work regardless
of your dateformat system preference.

The list of patron lists has sortable columns for the add, edit, and
delete buttons. These columns should not be sortable. This patch removes
sorting.
This patch also adds the "btn-mini" class to the in-table buttons to
make the table more compact.
To test you must have existing patron lists. Apply the patch and
navigate to Tools -> Patron lists. The columns containing the add, edit,
and delete buttons should not be sortable. Other columns should sort
correctly.

Created to patron lists and confirmed the collums 'add patrons', 'edit'
and 'delete' are no longer sortable. Column 'Name' and 'Patrons in list'
are still sortable. The size of buttons are smaller.

This patch modifies the template for the suggestions page to use
the new DataTables include. This simplifies the inclusion of assets and
updates to the latest DataTables version.
Sorting is now configured to exclude articles when sorting the title
column.
To test, apply the patch and view the suggestions page (Acquisitions ->
Suggestions). Sorting of suggestions should work correctly.

The template for the OPAC's "most popular" page includes several
variables which are not passed by the script, including
biblioitems.size. This patch adds the right columns to the query and
standardizes the output somewhat based on non-XSLT opac-detail.
To test, apply the patch and view the "most popular" page in both prog
and bootstrap. You should see correct publisher, copyright, pages, and
size information.

To test you must have existing holds on your account. Log into the OPAC
and view the holds tab on the "your summary" page (opac-user.pl).
Resize the browser window until the table switches from a regular table
layout to a vertical column. Only when the view is narrow enough does
the affected label appear:

The SQL option for MARC framework imports was subject to a bug whereby
somebody could use it to gain access to arbitrary information in the
database by uploading an SQL file containing unexpected statements.
As it is difficult to securely sanitize SQL, this patch removes the
option to use SQL as an import or export format.
To test:
[1] Verify that SQL no longer appears as an import or export option
for the MARC frameworks.
[2] Verify that exports and imports in CSV, Excel XML, and ODS formats
still work.

If your patrons have card numbers with leading zeroes this causes
problems removing patron entries during the process of adding patrons to
an existing list. This patch refactors the relevant JavaScript to
correct the problem and to remove inline "onclick" from generated HTML.
This patch also includes a fix for Bug 11632 - Untranslatable string
"Remove" in patron lists.
To test:
1. If necessary, create or modify a patron to have a card number
with leading zeroes.
2. Go to Tools -> Patron lists.
3. Click "Add patrons" on an existing list.
4. Perform a patron search and choose one of the results.
5. Click the "remove" link next to the patron name which was just added.
Nothing will happen.
6. Apply the patch and test again. The "remove" link should now work.
To test the fix for Bug 11632, after applying the patch run "translate
update [language code]" and confirm that the "Remove" string is listed
in the updated po file for patron_lists/list.tt.

Bootstap theme opac holding tab is improperly displayed when opacbookbag
syspref is disabled, and virtualshelf is enabled. This is due to the
fact that in this situation basket.js is loaded (for virtual shelves),
but some JS variables are not defined in template since opacbookbag is
disabled.
To reproduce this bug:
- Choose bootstrap OPAC theme
- Enable virtualsheves syspref
- Disable opacbookbag syspref
- Open a biblio record in OPAC detail page
- You will observe that items holding tabs are not displayed as tabs but
as a bulleted list

4 new statuses to represent variations on "missing" is added by this
patch: "never received", "sold out", "damaged", and "lost.
These status have the same behavior than the simple Missing status.
Test plan:
- Find a serial to claim.
- Modify the status of this serial with one of these new statuses.
- Try to find it with the "serials to claim" search.
- Verify that the status is displayed on the serial module pages and on
the OPAC.

Another fix, 10465, removed fields 780 and 785 from a unimarc xslt file.
This cleanup is needed for bootstrap too
To test : in a UNIMARC Koha, with Bootstrap theme OPAC
1. Be sure that OPACXSLTDetailsDisplay , OPACXSLTResultsDisplay sysprefs
are set to "default"
2. Apply the patch
3. Search some records in OPAC : the list view and the detail view
should be exacty the same as before you apply the patch.

The previous patch added use of the KohaDates TT plugin, so this
patch makes sure that it gets used to format the display of all
occurrences of the enrollment end date.
To test:
[1] Create a patron category with a fixed end date.
[2] Bring up the list of all categories and verify that the date
is displayed based on the dateformat value.
[3] Delete the category, and verify that the confirmation dialog
formats the date correctly.

Just going to the patron categories page triggered errors.
Running through all the plain options also triggered other
warnings. This fix silences them.
Discovered tabs I had not corrected by running qa test tool.
Some errors which I could not trigger were also fixed, such
as line 248 shown by Merllissia Manueli.

In some cases clicking the "remove" link to remove a course instructor
when editing a course reserves course doesn't work. I suspect this is
caused by leading zeroes in the card number. This patch refactors the
relevant function to fix the problem and to remove inline JavaScript
from generated markup.
Other changes:
- Make the "Remove" text translatable
- Re-order the first name and last name when added by JavaScript to
match the template's "surname, firstname" order.
To test:
1. If necessary, create or modify a patron to have a card number
with leading zeroes.
2. Go to Course reserves and add or edit a course.
3. If you are editing a course and there are existing instructors, click
the "remove" link. Nothing will happen.
4. Perform a patron search and choose one of the results. The name
should be added to the list of instructors in the format "surname,
firstname."
5. Click the "remove" link next to the patron name which was just added.
Nothing will happen.
6. Apply the patch and repeat step 4. The "remove" link should work.
7. Add an instructor and save the course reserve. Repeat steps 2 and 3.
The "remove" link should now work.
To test the translation fix, after applying the patch run "translate
update [language code]" and confirm that the "Remove" string is listed
in the updated po file for course_reserves/course.tt.

This patch removes CSS rules that applied only to use of the
jQuery tablesorter plugin, which is now gone.
To test:
[1] Verify that git grep -l headerSort does not turn up
any results.

DataTables has replaced the tablesorter plugin for client-side sorting
of tables in Koha. There is no table using this plugin, so this patch
removes it and remaining references to it.
REVISED TEST PLAN

1) Apply the patch
2) Home -> Koha administration -> Authorized values
3) Change the 'Show category:' drop down value, and play with
the sorting of columns.
-- should sort as expected.
4) Search the catalogue -> look for a biblio with high circulation
5) Click one of the name links.
6) Click the Items tab on the left.
7) Scroll down and click the (View item's checkout history)
link in the History area.
-- There was no sorting prior to the patch, so afterwards
it should display the same.

Bug 9130 removed the ability to limit the tables on parcel.pl to 5 rows,
as well as the "sticky" feature. It is trivial to restore this
functionality. These datatables are already using bStateSave, so are
they are "sticky" already. The only part left is to enable the
ability to limit the table to 5 rows at a time.
Test Plan:
1) Apply this patch
2) Browse to parcel.pl
3) Note the default rows count is still 10
4) Note the option to limit the row count to 5

The list of funds on the main acq page shows the library's name
followed by the word 'library'. I don't think this word is necessary
as most libraries have the word 'library' in their names. Even
if they don't they probably just want their library name to show
without extra words.
To test:
* Visit the acquisitions module before applying
* See the library's name + 'library' above the funds list
* Apply patch
* Look again at funds list and 'library' should be gone

This patch fixes a problem wherein table sorting did not work if
OpacSuggestionManagedBy was off.
As a matter of style, this patch also modifies the (Boolean) syspref
check to be just:

The name of a staff member who managed a suggestion is shown in the
the OPAC if the new system preference OpacSuggestionManagedBy is set to
'Show'. This is also the default.
If the preference is set to 'Don't show' the staff members name
is not displayed and the column 'Managed by' in the table of
suggestions in the patron account is not displayed.
To test:
- Create a one or more suggestions
- 'Manage' them by accecpting or rejecting
- Go to your patron account and check that the staff member name is
shown for your suggestions
- Apply patch, run database update
- Check the name is still shown
- Switch the preference to 'Don't show'
- Check the name is no longer shown and the table still displays
correctly, but without the 'Managed by' column
- Repeat those tests for both bootstrap and prog theme!

This patch adds the renewal count to the 'Check out' and "Details' tabs
of the patron record.
This information already exists in the OPAC view of the patron record.
Since librarians might be serving patrons in person who want to know
this information without looking it up online, it makes sense to show
it in the staff client.
There may also be times where librarians want to see how many renewals
a patron has left, how many they've used already, etc. when making other
decisions.
_TEST PLAN_
Before applying:
1) Go to "Check out" with a patron that has some check outs before today
2) Add some check outs for today
*Ensure that all issues are for items that can be renewed*
3) Note that the Renew column just says '0' followed by a check box
4) Check the 'Detail' tab. It should say the same.
Apply the patch.
5) View the "Details" and "Check out" tabs again
6) Note that the renewal count now appears in the form resembling:
5 of 5 renewals remaining

This patch adds the SelfCheckReceiptPrompt to control

new installations and upgrades.

This patch adds "(tax inc.)" or "(tax exc.)" after the "Vendor price",
"Replacement cost", "Budgeted cost" and "Actual cost" when entering
a new order. This reflects the value of the list and invoice prices
include/don't include tax flags in the vendor record.
Actual cost must probably not be displayed here, but it will be the
subject of an other patch.
To test :
- create 2 vendors, with differents values for "List prices includes
tax" and "Invoiced prices does includes tax" options
- create baskets for these 2 vendors
- create an order in each basket, and look at the "tax. inc." and
"tax exc" mention. It should be consistent with the options for
each vendor
- look at an order adding "&close=1" to the normal URL of the order.
You must see the order without ability to edit it, but with the same
mentions "tax inc." and "tax exc."

The list of links to items from the acquisitions tab can be
unwieldy if an order was used to purchase a lot of them, and the
availability of AcqItemSetSubfieldsWhenReceived and filters on the
holdings table provide alternative ways to do things like turn
off on-order statuses.
Test plan:
- verify this patch does not introduce regression on the enhancement
introduced by bug 8230.
- verify the itemnumber list does not appears anymore.

Now it is "Basket group no. ID (closed)".

If a basket is in a closed basketgroup, the basketgroup name is
currently displayed.
This patch adds a link around the basketgroup name if the librarian
has permission to manage basketgroups.
Test:
A. With a librarian with rights for managing basketgroups
Display a closed basket that is grouped in a basketgroup
Check the name of the basketgroup is now a link
Click on the link and check you are seeing information about the
right basketgroup
B. With a librarian WITHOUT rights for managing basketgroups

This patch adds a new column for displaying information about
basketgroups in the Acquisition tab on catalogue page for a record.
It also adds the number of the basket in the basket column.
If the user does not have group_manage permission, he just see the basketgroup name
and number.
If he has the permission, he can click to display the basketgroup.
If the basket is not in a basketgroup, the column is empty.
To test:
- Use a record in an order, and put the basket in a basketgroup.
- Connect with a user WITHOUT group_manage permission (but with order_manage
permission).
- Go to the record's detail in catalogue and click on Acquisition tab.
- Check you see the name and number of the basketgroup, with no link
around it.
- Check the number of the basket is displayed within () after the name of
the basket
- Click on the basket link, check the basket displayed is the right one.
- Connect with a user WITH group_manage permission.
- Go to the record's detail in catalogue and click on Acquisition tab.
- Check you see a link with the name and number of the basketgroup.
- Click on the link, check the basketgroup displayed is the right one.
- On the basketgroup page, move the basket out of the basketgroup, and
save the basketgroup.
- Go back to the record's page on the catalogue and click on Acquisition
tab.
- Check the basketgroup column is empty

On receiving orders, the librarian has to filter again the pending
orders list.
This patch stores the filters in a cookie in order to apply them when
the librarian finish a receive and come back on the pending orders list.
Test plan:
1/ choose a vendor with several baskets and orders.
2/ start to receive an item.
3/ on the pending orders page, add some relevant filters.
4/ receive an item.
5/ you are back on the pending orders page and filters are directly
applied.

This patch improves the description of the AcqItemSetSubfieldsWhenReceived
system preferences to clarify that it applies to updating items
during order receipt, if those items where created when the order was
placed.
Test plan:
Update the updatedb entry and search the pref in the admin module.
The explanation should have been updated.

it is enclosed in parentheses.

This patch adds the first name and surname of the librarian and the
user involved in a transaction log, if available.
If neither the firstname or the surname is available, then the 'object'
number will be prefaced with the 'Member' qualifier.

This patch adds the 'loopro' key to the 'module' value, so that
conditions are actually triggered in the template logic.
(Note: loopro.CIRCULATION is valid, but I changed it for the sake
of consistency across the different conditions.)
This patch also adds substr checks to the 'info' column when
using the cataloguing module. This will check for 'item' and 'biblio',
so that the appropriate label qualifer can be shown in the log viewer.
If either term is absent, the unqualified number will be shown instead
(this will be the majority of action logs at this point).
_TEST PLAN_
Before applying:
1) Access log viewer from Tools (or wherever really)
2) Look up logs for circulation, patrons, cataloguing, serial,
authorities, etc.
3) Note that the "Object" will always just be a number without qualification.
After applying the patch:
1) Look at those same logs
2) Note that the object number for borrowers will usually be prefaced
by 'member' (notwithstanding FINES which aren't taken into account in
this template yet); new bibs and new items should say 'Item X' or
'Biblio X'. Serials should have a link. Authorities should have a link
and an 'auth' preface.

If you have patron titles enabled, the OPAC patron details form lists 2
empty spaces instead of 1. An empty option is passed by the script, so
the template does not need to include one.
To test you must have at least one patron title set in BorrowersTitles
system preference and OPACPatronDetails must be set to "allow."
1. Apply the patch
2. Log in to the OPAC
3. Click the "personal details" tab.
4. Click the "salutation" dropdown. There should be only one blank line
preceding the existing titles.
Test in both prog and bootstrap.

This patch fixes an incorrect test on the number of see from and
see also links in the authority record, as otherwise if a record
had only one 4XX or 5XX, the linked headings weren't displayed at
all. This patch also makes the test consistent across the staff
theme and the two OPAC themes.

If an authority record has more than one 4xx$a (or 5xx$a) entries the
corresponding labels 'see also' and 'used for/see from' werwe repeated.
This patch removes duplicate instances of the labels, improving
readability.
To test:
- Have authority records with more than one entry on the 4xx (or 5xx)
fields.
- Do a search, check "see also:" (or 'used for/see from') appear more
than once.
- Apply the patch
- Reload and check it looks nicer :-D
- Repeat for: staff auth search, OPAC using ccsr, OPAC using prog

Comments on the usage of Template Toolkit blocks don't need
to appear in the rendered HTML, so this patch converts HTML
comments to TT comments and thereby saves a tiny amount of
bandwidth.

As noted by Jared, in the presence of 4XX$w or 5XX$w the display
got broken by this refactoring. This patch restores the previous
behaviour in that front.
The OPAC themes get fixed too, and the Bootstrap one gets this
fix too.
Applied the fix that Galen proposed on comment #30 regarding
Zeno's fix in bug 11174.
